THEY CAN LET THEIR HAIR DOWN, FINALLY

Linda McLaughlin defends President Trump’s 2024 Iran strikes as a preemptive "genocide" stop, citing unfiltered X (Twitter) reports of forced hijabs, executions, and gender apartheid under Khamenei’s regime. She contrasts Trump’s targeted attacks on Iran’s nuclear/military sites—disrupting China’s oil supplies and Russia’s arms trade—with Obama’s unchecked bombings of eight nations, noting Pelosi’s silence then vs. her criticism now. McLaughlin frames Iranian civilians, especially Persian non-Muslims, as allies, highlighting Miami’s Cuban exiles cheering regime change, while dismissing anti-war protesters as China-funded pawns. The episode ties U.S. domestic terrorism to Iranian sleeper cells and ends with an Iranian woman’s plea for the Shah’s return, framing the strikes as a step toward democracy. We Were All Part Of This Victory 00:06:47
This is an iHeart podcast.
Guaranteed human.
ABC Wednesdays.
The Emmy winning comedy Scrubs is all new.
This is a whole new chapter for me.
No more sad sacks.
That's what I'm talking about.
I want both of our sacks to be fun.
You two idiots are perfect for each other.
From executive producers of Ted Lasso and Shrinking.
We were all a part of this victory.
Now get those nachos out of the preemie warmer.
Nachos!
Feels like there's more applause for the nachos than my speech.
The new season of Scrubs.
Wednesdays, 8-7 Central on ABC and stream on Hulu.
Welcome to the Rogue Recap.
Hot takes, cold facts, and zero respect for the official narrative.
Sit back, roll your eyes, and let's recap.
Rogue style.
Well, hello.
Welcome to The Rogue Recap.
It is Monday, March 2nd.
I cannot believe it's March.
I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
And we have officially struck Iran.
So there is a lot to talk about.
I'm going to take a little bit of a different spin here, hence the name Rogue Recap.
We do things differently than all the other shows, right?
So I've been super annoyed over the weekend about people being mad for a few reasons.
Number one, they're upset because President Trump, as they say, has not kept his word.
He hasn't kept his word.
We're not supposed to be involved.
No more foreign wars, blah, Okay, fine.
You're right.
He did say that.
He didn't want to get involved.
He didn't want to be a part of all the madness.
But here's the problem.
We had an absolute genocide happening inside Iran.
For those of you that were actually paying attention, for those of you that were on social media, because it was the only way that you really could get the true information that was happening, you know, our mainstream media is so diluted.
It is so stripped down.
It is so completely, I call it like the Mickey Mouse version of what's really happening.
We don't really get the full story.
The beautiful part about social media, specifically X, because it's not watered down or, you know, it's not all about celebrities and people who don't really matter.
It's about real people.
So the people of Iran were able to send you videos and send you stories and do, you know, POV reporting where they were telling you, this is what is happening in my town.
We cannot go anywhere.
Women are treated less than animals.
We are treated as slaves.
The men, if they step out of line, are shot on site.
There is call to prayer five times a day.
the clerics and the morality piece police are out and they are ready to arrest anyone who steps out of line.
And even this weekend, you saw there was a morality officer on one of the trains and she went after one of the young girls who did not have her hijab on because she was letting her hair out.
She was free.
And this woman came at her and the entire train defended this young woman and threw this moron off the train, who's obviously wearing every single, you know, bedsheet in her closet.
And I'm like, hey, you want to walk around in your bedlinens and you think that's the way you need to pray to your God?
Knock yourself out.
The problem with Islamic radicals, which are, there's so many problems, right?
That's such an overloaded statement.
But the problem with these people is that there is no assimilation.
There is no ability to live in a community and to get along.
It is always the Islamic way or no way.
Everyone's an infidel.
They're always practicing Tikiyah if they are being nice to you.
And then there are people who are from Iran and they're Persians and they're not Muslim and they have been conquered by the IRGC and the Ayatollah, thank God, who has now passed on to hell and I'm sure he's burning right now.
And Ahmed Denijad as well, who was the asshole before him.
But when we are talking about what President Trump did here, it's not just about he bombed Iran and he doesn't, we need to have a war powers resolution right now.
You people are so full of shit.
When Obama was in office, he bombed eight different countries and you guys didn't say boo, not one word.
And this morning I was like, you know what?
I'm going to find the press conference where Nancy Pelosi, who was speaker at the time, was asked about this.
And I did find it.
I'm going to play it right here.
So, Madam Speaker, Madam Leader, you're saying that the president did not need authorization initially and still does not need any authorization from Congress, one Libya.
Yes.
Thank you both.
Thank you all very much.
Incredibly verbose, right?
This is a woman who literally talks so much that her dentures are falling out.
But because she was deciding that she was going to side with Barack Obama in that situation, it was just like, yes, yes, we like him.
So yes.
There are certain things that procedural things that need to happen when actions like this are taken.
And the president had sent Jared Kushner, had sent Steve Witkoff, had sent Marco Rubio.
There were many discussions and negotiations that have been going on for the last six to eight weeks.
The supreme leader, as well as many of his IRGC henchmen, continually said that they would not agree to the terms, specifically those terms regarding uranium enrichment and nuclear powers.
Now, you might remember that it was Barack Obama that sent billions upon billions of dollars in pallets of cash over to the Iranian people.
It was Joe Biden that released the sanctions on the money to Iran and then was able to give them all that money back, saying it was there to help the people.
It was never there to help the people.
They were there for one thing and one thing only.
And that was for them to continue to build up their ballistic missiles and to build up their military because they have one goal.
That is to conquer everything in the quote, name of Allah, because that's this religion of peace, as some like to call it, is anything but everywhere that we look, whether it's Boko Haram, whether it's ISIS, whether it's the Muslim Brotherhood, it doesn't matter.
Why Cash to Iran Failed 00:13:29
It's all the same shit.
It's a bunch of lunatics using religion as a cover to commit violent acts of terror against anyone and anything that is not them.
It doesn't matter if they're Jewish.
It doesn't matter if they're Christian or Buddhist, Hindu.
It doesn't matter.
And if you look around at the nations right now that are trying to expel and remigrate all of these people from these third world countries that practice this type of religion, they have seen such an uptick in rapes and murders and assaults, whether it be on women, children, people just walking down the street, dogs.
I mean, it's such a violent culture and it does not mesh with 2026 Western society in any way, shape, or form.
And so for people to come out and to say that they're upset or they feel like President Trump should have given more warning, Marco Rubio called the Gang of Eight.
He called those senators, which is required.
That's the legislative process.
He has to give them due notification.
So he notifies the gang of eight and then he notifies Hakeem Jeffries, who is the House leader for the Democrats, and he notifies Mike Johnson, who's the House leader for the Republicans.
So everybody's notified.
Nobody's left out in the cold.
Everybody knows what's going on.
And my husband was telling me there was one person who may or may not have gotten all of the information exactly when everybody else got it because they were afraid of a leak, which is a very real thing because people have TDS, Trump derangement syndrome, and it over, it really does overpower them in a way that doesn't allow them to follow due process.
They'll break rank.
They'll step outside just to give that information to just about anybody so that they can lockstep with the mainstream, with the left and hurt the president, which in turn hurts the United States of America.
And so while you have people like Adam Schiff who want to say, oh, there was no imminent threat, I'm like, these are people that we're having conversations with and hundreds of thousands of civilian protesters who are unarmed.
They have absolutely no defense.
They're out there with their voices screaming for their freedom.
And they are literally hanging them.
They are shooting them on site.
It doesn't matter if they're babies, grandmas.
I mean, this is like the moment in World War II where you say, if not us, then who?
If we are not going to help, if we are not going to lend a hand and save these people from the Islamic cult structure that has taken over a once beautiful Iran, then who the hell is going to do it?
It's not Kirst Armer.
He's a feckless wonder.
It's not Macron.
He doesn't know what day it is and he's completely overtaken by third world lunatics.
Spain is under a leftist dictator.
We've got more luck getting help from, you know, Bukhali or Millay.
I mean, this is a problem.
But putting all of that to the side, the president went ahead with the strikes.
He aligned himself with Israel.
And we had help from the UAE and Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who were all equally getting hit by Iran because they were just firing at every country that they could in the Middle East because they weren't standing in lockstep with them.
Now, while we took out a real threat, despite what Adam Schiff thinks, while we took out that real threat, we also shut down the lifeline of oil to China because China gets a majority of its oil from Iran.
And then Russia gets a majority of its cheaply made weapons from Iran.
So right now, we are literally damping down two other major leaders in the region who have been cohorting and working with Iran, creating this axis of evil, if you will.
When that happens, you see the wisdom of Trump's foresight.
He's saying we could have a great partner in Iran because the people of Iran, the Persian people, have no desire to be at war with the United States.
They are cheering and chanting and dancing in the streets.
And if you looked all over the United States, whether it was in LA or New York, different parts of Texas, everywhere you looked, they were cheering in the streets.
Then you had the Cuban people in Miami coming out, celebrating this victory and asking Donald Trump to do the peaceful takeover of Cuba, also under a dictatorship, also failing.
That's why when these dumbass kids that are out there protesting and getting paid by groups like Neville Roy Singham, who's based in China, and he's funneling all of his money to the PSL, and then you see those people, they have signs, they have vans with snacks and waters, they're paying everybody who's marching by the hour.
It is an organized, paid campaign.
None of those young, dumb, stupid kids walking up and down protesting have a clue what they're protesting for.
And we see that firsthand because how many times have we gone up and asked, what are you here for today?
Oh, I don't know.
My friend said that comes, I can't.
It was on Instagram and I'm getting paid.
They sound ridiculous.
It's actually really annoying.
I'm embarrassed for their parents because they're going to these Ivy League schools and they sound like they barely made it out of high school.
It's so it's actually truly upsetting.
I worry what they're going to do once they get out into the real world, how they're going to succeed because I can't imagine what they're good at.
But the media is very forgetful.
They forget that when Hillary Clinton was talking about if she ever became president, thank God that never did come to fruition, she was the one saying she was going to bomb Iran.
Nobody thought it was terrible then.
Take a listen.
And I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran.
Whatever stage of development they might be in their nuclear weapons program in the next 10 years during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.
That's a terrible thing to say, but those people who run Iran need to understand that because that perhaps will deter them from doing something that would be reckless, foolish, and tragic.
How interesting that when she said that, that was in 2008.
So when she said that in 2008, that seemed perfectly normal and everybody said, yep, got to protect ourselves.
Now here we are.
We have sleeper cells in the United States.
We had a shooting in Ohio where we've got 13 people shot.
We've got a shooting in Texas.
We've got 17 people shot, three dead, including the shooter.
And people are talking about, well, you know, we really need to be more careful.
We don't need to be more careful.
The days for being more careful are over.
Our nation has been infiltrated.
We are filled with people who are doing the wrong thing all the time.
All the time.
They are not here to assimilate.
They are not here to learn Western ways.
They have no interest in becoming legal citizens.
And those of them who do get naturalized or have been naturalized under Obama and Biden, I mean, the guy last night was a Senegal national, 53 years old, just got his naturalization papers during, I guess it was the Biden admin.
And here he is.
He's shooting up people right in the middle of Austin, Texas, and people just out having a good time.
They're not bothering anybody because they don't enjoy life.
They enjoy one thing, terror, because that's all they've been taught their entire lives.
That's all they know.
So when they come to America, there is no recognition of what is happening here.
There is only the idea of how can I destroy it because no one's supposed to sing and no one's supposed to show their hair and no one's supposed to be in love and we hate dogs.
It's like, okay, yeah, I don't know what religion says all these things, but I don't want any part of it.
And to be perfectly frank with you, why don't you take that religion, shove it up your ass and find a little corner of the world and never bother anybody?
I don't, I've never understood this concept of I have to kill people because I'm miserable.
Just go kill yourself.
Why you got to kill everybody else?
Why does everybody else have to suffer because you have problems and you're a bad person?
That has always mystified me.
You want to do that kind of harm?
Do it to yourself and be done with it.
We'll see you in the next life.
There's no reason why people who are out on a Sunday night having drinks with their friends need to be worried about getting shot down by a guy from Senegal in the middle of Austin, Texas.
This is everything that is wrong with America.
And for those people who are saying that the Iranians are not happy with a president, you really have to get a grip.
Aside from the celebrations here all over the United States, people crying, they're so happy they're going to get to go back to their country and see their family members again after being in exile, some people for up to 50 years.
It's horrible.
And I was, you know, scanning social media like so many of us, and I came across this young girl.
I have no idea who she is or how old she is.
I found her post and she made this video about how she just wanted everybody to hear her because she was so grateful for the president and the idea that she might be free.
And there's no video of her.
It's just a video of the Iranian skyline.
And she's from a town in Iran called Kerman.
I just want you to listen to this because I know it really hurt my heart when I heard it.
Hello, everyone.
I'm a girl from Kerman, Iran.
The youth strikes have begun and I felt like I should record a video to say that.
Thank you, Mr. Trump.
First of all, thank you, Benjamin Nathaniel, and the people of Israel who have to go to bomb shelters these days.
I should mention that responsibility of this war is on the Islamic Republic and Ali Khamenei per se and even if I die, the strikes have touched my city as well, even if I die in this war, the only one who's to blame is Ali Khamenei and if that leads to the destruction of this regime, this terrorist,
I'm okay with it.
If I die, I'm okay with it.
And I hope that our king, our Shahanshah, will return and rebuild our country and my country can see better days.
Think about how incredible that is.
This young woman is sitting somewhere in an apartment building.
You can hear the bombs and the explosions going off in the background.
And she's saying, thank you so much for freeing my country.
I am so grateful that we might be free again and that we might be a beautiful country again where people can just go and be free.
Imagine giving Iran the chance to create their own republic, to have their own democracy, and to be free of this Islamic regime that has no desire at all to help anybody to do anything but hurt.
And now for the first time since 1979, I mean, some of these kids, this is all they've known their whole lives, right?
Covered head to toe, women treated as slaves, not able to do anything, not able to go anywhere.
It is such a horrible life.
And I'm just thinking to myself, for the first time, they're going to see what freedom is.
That young woman is actually going to know what it is to have her hair out.
It's such a silly little thing, but just amazing.
Anyways, this is Linda McLaughlin.
