Hello, everyone.
I'm Greg Jarrett, filling in for Sean Hannity on the Sean Hannity Show.
I'm a Fox News legal analyst, a lawyer by trade.
I used to be a defense attorney back in the day.
You can follow me on X, formerly Twitter at Greg Jarrett, two G's at the end of Greg, two R's two T's.
Check out my columns and other stories on my website, the GregJarrett.com.
My latest column is entitled Prosecute Sanctuary Officials who defy Donald Trump's deportation orders.
We'll get into that a bit later on, but we are twenty eight days away from Donald Trump being sworn in as America's new president.
It will be the end of Joe Biden's misbegotten tenure.
I mean, who knew that a single person could do so much damage in four short years?
What did he do?
Well, he tanked the economy with his profligate spending and reckless policies.
Americans suffered when inflation soared to a 40-year high.
They struggled to put food on the table, roofs over their heads.
He turned the nation's energy independence upside down.
Gas prices soared.
Pulling up of the pumps was a financial nightmare for everyone.
His Afghanistan withdrawal with deadly consequences has to rank as one of the worst military humiliations in U.S. history.
And sensing his weakness, Russia invaded Ukraine, Hamas attacked Israel, China ran roughshod over everybody.
In the meantime, Joe rewarded Iran for its terrorism with billions of dollars.
So to call Joe Biden an utter and complete disaster does not come close to accurately describing his insanity, his idiocy.
And the excuse making is, of course, now an overdrive.
But it turns out that Joe Biden was not compass mentis.
That's a Latin term that means in essence, Joe Biden's mind was mush.
He was mentally infirm.
Dementia, well, maybe.
That requires a medical diagnosis.
Senility in the general sense, without a doubt.
Joe Biden was senile.
Still is.
The Wall Street Journal's recent devastating expose on Biden's diminished capacity, dating back all the way to his first day in office, is a revealing and troubling window into an absentee president.
His staff scrupulously concealed Joe's condition.
They built a bubble around him so that very few people would actually see his mental decline.
Public appearances were scant, but always carefully scripted, complete with childlike instructions of where to enter and exit the stage.
When he was forced to meet with donors, they were given pre-approved questions.
They were cautioned.
Don't deviate.
Don't ask him anything other than what's written.
His own cabinet members rarely saw him.
They finally gave up.
Meetings were canceled if Joe was having a bad day, which happened a lot.
He had these keepers or miners who went everywhere with him.
They took care of him like a nursing home patient.
Important decisions were being made, but by whom?
Nobody really knows.
And this went on for four years.
Where was the nuclear football?
Was it in the hands of this mentally incompetent commander in chief?
Nobody really knows yet.
There are many people to blame for this, not just the White House sycophants.
Democrats and their media lapdogs hid Joe Biden's senility for years.
As the editorial board of the New York Post pointed out, read their column.
They knew of Joe's cognitive decline, but instead of exposing the truth, what did they do?
They attacked anyone who dared to raise the obvious alarm.
You know, history books will be written about our missing president, permanently out to lunch or asleep at the switch.
People involved, you see, will eventually talk.
They have to.
And the stories they will tell will chill you to the bone.
Guaranteed.
100%.
This will go down as the biggest scandal and cover up in American history.
Many of us warned about Joe's condition when he ran for president in 2020.
It was obvious to anybody paying attention.
I wrote an endless stream of columns about Biden's incapacity.
He wasn't in charge.
He wasn't in command.
It was dangerous to vote for Joe Biden.
National security was at risk.
Not to mention all of his destructive progressive policies.
But voters were snookered, and they put a mindless man in the oval office.
And the inevitable calamities followed.
A long national nightmare.
Among his biggest fiasca was opening the border, roughly ten million illegals flooded into our nation.
The damage that that one policy decision did, that'll that'll last for a generation.
Nobody was being vetted.
Everybody came in.
As a result, criminals flowed across the border and began a hideous assault on innocent citizens.
According to ICE, this is their latest stat, more than six hundred and sixty two thousand illegals convicted or charged with crimes are here in the United States.
We're talking about homicides, rapes, assault and batteries, burglaries, car thefts, drug offenses, and with those criminals came fentanyl, a deadly plague that claimed the lives of close to one hundred thousand young people each and every year.
Joe Biden didn't care.
He didn't care when Lincoln Riley was murdered or Rachel Morin or 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungary.
And we became numb to the volume of victims.
There have been so many.
And the latest happened just yesterday here in New York City.
An illegal set a sleeping woman on fire inside a New York City subway car, and he sat there and he watched.
Again, Joe Biden doesn't care.
Maybe he doesn't even know, but he should.
I'll tell you who does know.
The governor of New York, Kathy Hochel.
The day before that heinous murder happened on the subway car, she said this.
I'm on the subway train heading out to Clean Center.
I'm a lot of not quite last minute, but I have holiday shopping to do.
I've got an adorable two-year-old granddaughter since Loveworth won the shop.
I could take the subway wherever we need to go.
I want all New Yorkers to feel safe, which is why we've added so many other National Guard over 250 more people that make sure that you're right.
It's as safe as it can be.
Oh, it's as safe as it can be.
You know, and you could be set ablaze and die.
Is there anybody more clueless and moronic than Kathy Hokel, the governor of New York?
These crimes happened because Joe Biden deliberately invited criminals into our country.
He aided and abetted the murders.
He was an accessory.
Joe Biden has blood on his hands.
Now that may sound harsh, but you know what?
It's true.
And yet so many in the media and Democrat circles still celebrate Joe Biden as one of the old time best.
Days ago, I couldn't stop laughing.
I read the column by Donna Brazil in The Hill.
She called Joe one of our greatest presidents, comparing him to FDR and his New Deal, LBJ's great society.
Nobody better than Joe.
Speaking of Joe, who can forget Joe Scarborough?
Remember when he said Biden is far beyond cogent.
In fact, Biden's better than he's ever been intellectually and analytically.
He is the best Biden ever.
That's Joe Scarborough on MSNBC.
My favorite is liberal reporter Jonathan Alter, who said, and I'm quoting here, Joe Biden will be remembered as a great president, mentioned in the same sentence as George Washington.
Jonathan I will agree with this in the following way.
Joe Biden will be mentioned in the same sentence with George Washington when you compare the best with the absolute worst.
The political coverage of the political players and some of the let me ask a rhetorical question.
So Linda's laughing.
You know, that's an oldie but a goodie, isn't it?
It is my favorite Joe Biden clip.
It's actually in the system labeled Linda's fave, Joe Biden piano.
That's what it's called.
Because I love it so much.
The music is outstanding.
But that's not altered.
The only thing that's added is the music.
Right.
That's the same.
The music sets the tone for Joe Biden, who struggles to put a subject with a predicate.
And you know, his insidious presidency, thankfully, ends in less than a month.
And for the sake of America, let's hope he doesn't do any more damage in the remaining days.
Because beginning on January 20th, President Trump will take aggressive action to fix what Biden broke.
So you can expect a flurry of executive orders and directives that will close the border, resume border wall construction, set the path for deporting the record number of illegal immigrants who are here in the United States.
How many?
According to ICE, there are over seven million who have final orders of removal or are going through removal proceedings, but are not yet in ICE custody.
Donald Trump will declare it a national emergency because it is.
On energy, Trump will order sweeping changes to revitalize oil and gas production.
Roll back Joe Biden's abusive climate regulations that have suffocated the industry and damaged our economy.
And Trump will revoke Biden's equity orders based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
Look out, folks.
The woke crowd is about to get canceled.
We're going to talk a bit more about that in just a moment.
Also, my column prosecute sanctuary officials who defy Trump's deportation orders.
Can they be arrested, charged, prosecuted, and tossed into the hooscow?
I'll have the answer when we come back.
Welcome back to the Sean Hannity Show.
I'm Greg Jarrett, filling in for Sean Hannity.
You can follow me on my ex handel Greg Jarrett at Greg Jarrett.
Or follow me on my website, thegregjarrett.com.
I wrote a column that said that these sanctuary officials who intend to defy, actively defy Trump's forthcoming deportation orders should be prosecuted.
They belong in jail.
Here is Trump's incoming borders or Tom Homan.
And I want you to be clear about who has jurisdiction, the federal government or state and local governments.
And if you're a sanctuary state or city, are you breaking the law?
Yeah, absolutely breaking law.
Oh, yes, I do look at Arizona versus U.S. You'll see this breaking law.
Well, look, me and the Denver mayor, we agree on one thing.
He's willing to go to jail.
I'm willing to put him in jail.
All right.
So what's he talking about here?
Prosecution and jail for city and county and state officials who are providing sanctuary, is exactly what Congress had in mind when it long ago passed a criminal law to combat those who aid and abet illegal immigration.
Here it is, 8 USC 1324.
Any person knowing that an alien has come to the U.S. in violation of law, conceals harbors or shields from detection.
Any such alien in any place shall be imprisoned not more than five years.
And by the way, that's five years for each illegal alien.
But there's more.
It's a felony to quote interrupt, hinder, or impede federal officials in the discharge of their duties.
That's eight USC 372.
It's also obstruction of justice under a variety of statutes in the U.S. criminal codes.
So if these knucklehead officials think they can interfere with Trump's deportation order, they've got some news coming to them.
I'm Greg Jarrett, filling in for Sean Hannity on the Sean Hannity Show.
We'll be right back.
John Solomon will be joining us in a moment.
All right, the Christmas and Hanukkah season is a time of hope and peace for so many people.
But for those in Israel, they're facing a forefront war.
It is a time of fear.
It is a time sadly of uncertainty.
Tens and tens of thousands of Israelis have been displaced.
The hardships being felt by everybody, people struggling to afford food, people needing bare necessities.
Now we have proudly partnered with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.

This is the Sean Hannity Show.
Welcome back to the Sean Hannity Show.
I'm Greg Jarrett filling in for Sean Hannity.
I'm a Fox News legal analyst.
So this story of today really caught my eye.
And I think everybody's talking about it.
Joe Biden has commuted the sentences of nearly all of the inmates on federal death row.
So we're talking about 37 of the total 40 inmates on death row.
The three inmates not included in the commutation are people who committed mass murderers, mass murders, including the Boston Marathon Bomber and two others who attacked a synagogue and black parishioners at a Charleston church.
Biden previously declared a moratorium, you should know, on federal executions as soon as he took office in 2021.
So he knew that his successor, Donald Trump, would change that.
So he took action on his own.
And Joe Biden's rationale is as follows.
He supports the death penalty only for terrorism and hate-motivated mass murder.
So, in other words, child killers are somehow less reprehensible than other killers, and they deserve to live.
Let me give you some examples.
Among the people who were now off death row thanks to Joe Biden, Thomas Sanders, who kidnapped and shot a 12-year-old girl and then cut her throat because she was a witness to Sanders' execution of her mother four days earlier.
Then there's Jorge Avillator.
He sexually assaulted and stabbed to death two girls.
Then there's Daniel Troia, who killed an entire family, including two children.
How about Caboni Savage who killed four children and ordered the killing of many others?
Now that strikes me as a mass murderer.
But in Joe Biden's book, that's okay.
And I want to play for you what the NAACP president said about Joe Biden's death row commutations.
They are protected and productive citizens.
Take a listen.
We are encouraging the president to continue on this moral path to ensure that the disparities that we see in the system that has been proven is addressed to the clemency process.
There are individuals that should be pardoned.
They are productive citizens.
And this is the type of legacy that we we will want to see any president go out on.
A legacy of helping people recognize the disparities and address it moral inequities.
They are productive citizens.
Joining us now to talk about is John Solomon, editor in chief of Just the News, host of Just the News, not Noise.
John, uh thanks for being with us today.
Merry Christmas, happy holidays.
You you knew this was coming.
And I know that because I read your column before Joe Biden commuted all of these sentences of people on death row.
You wrote a column that said Joe Biden is considering commuting sentences of those on death row.
And you totally nailed it.
You said he was getting pressure from civil rights groups, religious organizations, and Merrick Garland, his attorney general, had recommended that Biden commute uh those sentences.
Um job well done.
Uh tell us a bit more.
Well, listen, I think it's a fitting end to the Biden presidency that the entire four years have been an extraordinarily unfriendly and actually quite unsafe time for children in America.
Uh we uh and all across the world.
Let's start with Afghanistan.
The women and girls who used to go to school can't go anywhere because the Taliban took over because of the way Joe Biden exited the country.
You go to Title IX in the sports, and you see women being harmed in sports games and losing the uh awards they would normally win because men were allowed into sports.
You take a look at the migrant children that were forced to come here under the insane system that developed under Joe Biden at the behest of cartels where they're sexually uh trafficked or they're being used as drug mules, and then they get to the country.
The Biden administration took custody of these children, and they lost 32,000 of them, at least, maybe many more.
Uh, this has been an unfriendly, unsafe administration for children across the world and in our own country.
And I think today, in commuting the sentences of child killers and child rapists, he once again affirmed that his woke ideology is more important than the safety of children, his woke ideology is more important than the judgment of jurors and juries and judges who impose these sentences.
Joe Biden always says, I trust the justice system until he doesn't.
Here he took the verdicts of juries and judges and threw them out the window in a complete um uh you know uh middle finger to the court system.
And there are Democrats that are very upset about this.
Congress and Mike Quigley in Illinois, I think said something that a lot of Americans that agree, and Army Quigley is pretty liberal, but he said, listen, at some point uh you've got to let these courts make up their own mind and the jurors closer to the case and let them their decisions stand and be autonomous and not keep interfering.
Uh that's a Democrat saying that about the departing Joe Biden.
Then you have other Democrats like Senator Chris Koons, uh far-left liberal, Biden's Delaware POL, uh, who cheered uh the commutations by Biden, and he cited the unfairness in the justice system.
I'll quote him here.
There are some real questions about the fairness in the process of the death penalty in the U.S. What unfairness in these cases in every single one of them.
There was overwhelming evidence of guilt.
There was no doubt about guilt.
So isn't Coons and others conjuring up some imaginary unfairness where none exists.
Yeah, listen, the Sheriff Keith Pearson down in St. Lucie County, Florida, who uh whose department investigated that killing of that family, a mom, a dad, and two young children executed uh by these two thugs.
Um, he knows what the case was.
He knows how carefully the court system and the jurors took it, and now Joe Biden thinks he's smarter than the rest of them.
And he asked a very profound question where is the justice for the Escabido family?
That's the family that was executed by those two thugs.
Uh, the answer is there's not going to be.
The the jury and the judge's verdict were erased by Joe Biden for some ideological reason.
Uh, if you're in that community today, you're you're feeling pretty um unsatisfied by what Joe Biden did.
Yeah, I think so.
You know, with a wave of a pen, Biden is sending a very clear message to the grieving families of all of those murder victims.
And the message is I don't care about you.
That's right.
You know, forget compassion for them.
Joe Biden has only compassion for heinous murderers.
And, you know, in his statement, Biden said, we must stop the use of the death penalty.
But Congress doesn't want to do that.
So Biden's doing it instead.
He he he is usurping their power.
I mean, they're the ones who passed the federal law which makes certain most heinous crimes eligible for the death penalty.
So as Andy McCarthy, former federal prosecutor, Fox contributor said, This is an abuse of the federal power.
Biden is obliterating decisions made by Congress on the death penalty, not to mention, as you said, John, the decisions of federal juries.
Yeah, listen, uh, he told us he wouldn't interfere in a sense.
He did.
He told us um he believed in the judicial system.
He didn't.
He doesn't trust the jurors and judges who impose these verdicts and these sentences.
And uh again, it's a fitting end to a president who's been um, I think unfriendly to the the system the system of justice, unfriendly to the notion of honesty, and also unfriendly and unsafe for so many children across the world,
whether it's the young girls uh now suffering under the rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan or the migrant children who are lost in our country after being trafficked here by cartels or the victims of these heinous crimes today, which are uh some of the most heinous crimes I can possibly think of.
Um I I don't know how history will look back at Joe Biden, but I assure you it will not be with a bright and happy light.
You know, Joe Biden did it because, as I mentioned, he knows his successor will continue to follow the law and carry out the sentences of these 37 people on death row.
It's just one example, isn't it, John, of how Joe Biden is trying to trump proof his own legacy.
You know, more student loan forgiveness, Even though the Supreme Court has said he can't do it, racing to hand out like party favors, tens of billions in taxpayer money for his pet projects and special interest groups involving the clean new deal,
selling off border wall materials so Trump can't use them to continue building a Southern Wall, rushing liberal federal judges through confirmation and jamming down our throats a whole host of new regulations that suppress the marketplace.
Either Biden refuses to accept the results of the election, in which Democrats lost control of everything, or he's doing everything he can to hobble the incoming president while ignoring the will of the people, which is it.
Yeah, and I want to throw one other one in there.
He's destabilized the world in these final few weeks since the voters spoke.
All these long-range w weapons that he's given to Ukraine so that he could provocate Russia instead of bringing the two sides closer together for a peace deal like President Trump has been calling for.
Even the world uh has been made more unstable because Joe Biden doesn't want to see Donald Trump succeed.
I think that's what most people see and look.
And by the way, there are many Democrats who are telling me that privately that they're they're just shocked at what Joe Biden is doing as he goes out the door, whether it's the pardon of his son, these pardons today, uh even his own party has a little bit of shame about how this president is exiting from what has been uh a rather failed presidency overall.
Yeah.
Uh I mean, he will go down in history as the worst American president ever.
And not just he was mentally incompetent throughout, but his far-left radical Marxist progressive policies ruined the United States, and there's a lot that now needs fixing.
Um you were not only ahead of the curve on that particular story, but also on the Matt Gates story and the House ethics uh draft report.
Uh, we're gonna take a quick break.
If you'll stick around, John, I want your uh thoughts on that when we come back.
Thanks.
We're going to be right back with more of The Sean Hannity Show.

Back now on the Sean Hannity Show, I'm Greg Jarrett, filling in for Sean.
My guest is John Solomon, editor-in-chief of Just the News, one of the best investigative reporters I know.
And, John, you had the story about Matt Gaetz and this bombshell finding in the House Ethics Committee that has now been released in which he is alleged to have used illicit drugs, paying for sex with multiple women, including a 17-year-old.
You had this story actually last night before it came out today.
And you posted it last night.
You've actually, as I understand it, had your hands on the draft report uh for some time now.
What can you tell us?
Well, yeah, I had generally inkling of what was in it until last night when I actually got uh the final draft report and um uh published it about 11 o'clock last night.
Listen, there are serious allegations in here.
The report says that there is a strong body of evidence that Mad Cates uh paid for um uh sex in a commercial transaction in violation of Florida's prostitution laws, that he um uh uh committed statutory rape by having sex with a 17-year-old girl who the first time he did,
he gave $400 as compensation to her, that he um accepted an inappropriate gift of travel on the back uh from one of the junkets with these women he hung out with, and then he misused his office to uh help one of uh these women that he would occasionally socialize with and have sex with uh to get a um expedited passport using the power of his congressional office and falsely telling the government that this woman was a constituent when she was not,
and then of course he's also accused of obstructing the congressional investigation.
These are all pretty hard-hitting allegations.
Um they've been out there for some time because there are so many leaks in this investigation, unlike almost any house ethics commission I've ever seen.
It's the most leak uh heavy investigation.
So very few factual surprises, but I think the breadth of the findings, pretty damaging to Matt Gates' future.
Now he's a fighter.
He's a guy that knows how to push back, and he's already doing so.
I think, providing some new evidence today that does call into question some of the conclusions of the report.
So it's gonna play out for some time.
Uh, but an unpleasant day, and I think it also President Trump's decision to have Matt Gates step aside uh as his attorney general nominee probably looks a lot smarter after people see this report today.
I got about 30 seconds left, but the DOJ previously chose not to criminally charge Gates.
Might that change?
No, I don't think so, but there is still possibility of charges in the state of Florida based on the evidence that was proffered today.
Yeah.
Incredible story.
John Solomon had it before anybody else.
And John, thanks for taking the time to talk to us not only about the uh Gates story, but the other big story of the day, Joe Biden commuting the sentences of nearly all of the inmates on federal death row.
Thirty-seven of the 40 inmates on death row.
John Solomon, editor-in-chief of Just the News.
