This is an iHeart podcast.
And thank you, Scott Shannon, and thanks to all of you for being with us.
800-941-Sean, our number, if you want to be a part of the program, got a note from my friend who says, every time I put your radio show on, once the opening music starts, my dog's ears go pointed up in a straight direction.
I'm like, I hope that's a good thing.
Glad you're with us.
You know, I'm going to start saying this differently.
Two weeks from today is officially the election day.
Election day is right now, right today, in most states.
That's why, as a public service, we have on Hannity.com about how you can register in your state, your Commonwealth, when early voting starts, when early voting stops.
But Election Day is now.
And, you know, I had a conversation with Joe Bastardi, and he said, I think, you know, based on the modeling that I've looked at and the water temperatures, and he just goes in the way, it gets way over my head after about three minutes.
And he's like, I think we have a good chance of another hurricane or two this hurricane season.
I said, oh, no.
We remember Hurricane Sandy had a big impact in that election.
Then there was the big bear hug from Chris Christie.
Not sure if they kissed, but I think it was a bear hug.
They hugged, right?
Linda, that's what it was.
I would say it was the hug felt around the world.
Yeah, something like that.
And so the point is, it's not the system we want.
Please don't make me give that speech again.
It's a system we're stuck with.
You only change it if you win elections, but you can't start out Election Day down by hundreds of thousands of votes.
It is the system we're stuck with.
The only way you change it is you win elections.
That's why Election Day is today in many states.
Go to Hannity.com, public service.
You also can watch the Walls files and the Kamala files and listen and hear their radicalism, extremism in their own words.
Sad thing to start with today.
The American dream, you know, ought to be the Cadillac of aspirations.
You know, slits down the drain, you know, if you remember, pop the champagne expectation.
And it feels a little odd to talk about the right sizing it, but in an age of tight money and it's Toyota Camrys and Kirkland wine, it's time to readjust the scope a bit.
Now, think about what they're doing here.
It's sort of like Jimmy Carter reminding me of Jimmy Carter, telling people to wear a sweater instead of putting the heat up in their homes.
Owning a home has been a core part of the American dream.
When I got my first home, it was in Roswell, Georgia.
I think I paid $114,000 for it, something like that.
Made a little money.
I think I sold it for $123,000.
And I was like the happiest guy in the world.
Anyway, today, there simply aren't enough affordable options.
And that ideal is increasingly now out of reach for Americans.
And what do we always say?
That we want to leave this country better than we found it.
Certainly, my parents' generation, the greatest generation, my dad fought four years in the Pacific.
They left it better than they found it.
My parents grew up dirt, dirt poor.
It was a big deal.
They got a 50 by 100 lot, Cape Cod house.
I had three older sisters, one bathroom.
That is the definition of hell on earth.
But anyway, there is, and the piece in the Washington Post, by the way, goes on, there's a sensible way to address this shortfall, but it requires moving beyond the antiquated vision of a big house with a fenced yard in the suburbs that basically saying lower your expectations about what you can achieve in your life.
Accept the new reality.
Accept the lower bar.
And he said they're cheaper to build.
They usually face, you know, less than not my backyard resistance.
Buyers love them.
And townhouses have all the trappings of a classic dream home, but they cost less to buy, offer a low-maintenance lifestyle, and they're more climate-friendly.
You know, look, I've downsized dramatically, and I live in a townhouse, and I love it.
I love being downsized.
I don't want a six-acre property like I had in New York that I sold.
I don't want it.
I don't need, I was living by myself there.
I live here alone by myself here, and I'm just as happy.
I'm even happier because I'm in Florida, and actually, people are nice to me down here.
They go, it's the American dream, but with a smaller yard.
This is sad to me.
This is Jimmy Carter saying, give up.
This is accept that America or American exceptionalism is going to be dead.
I'm not willing to go there.
I believe, you know, when you think of the one issue, and this came up in the barbershop interview with Lawrence Jones when he went with President Trump and the Bronx, and they were talking about, well, why do we have to pay income taxes?
40% federal income taxes.
And I advise everyone, pay your taxes.
The one thing I do is I have one accounting firm do it.
I have another accounting firm do it.
I had it audited by lawyers.
I mean, because I can't make heads of tails of this.
I don't know a thing about it, but I always say, pay, pay.
Well, you probably could legally make this.
Nope.
Don't bother.
It's fine.
Pay it because I know I'm a target.
But that's my problem.
The point is, is that you got to pay your taxes.
But if we ever used the energy resources we had in this country, we wouldn't pay a penny in income taxes.
We would be the wealthiest nation on the face of this earth.
We have more natural resources, natural gas, energy than ever before.
And Kamala changing her position again on fracking.
You know, it's unreal.
It's so funny.
The New York Times, according to the Washington Free Beacon, assigned six full-time investigative reporters to come up with evidence that Kamala once worked at McDonald's.
So far, they haven't come up with anything.
And they credited six reporters with contributing to a Sunday story, interviewing a friend who had known Miss Harris as a teenager.
In other words, they had a person that has since passed away, a secondhand account from somebody who long ago passed away as the only evidence that they could find.
I think they need to keep digging.
And McDonald's has come out and said in an email to McDonald's franchisees that the corporation confirmed that while Harris had fond memories of working at a location in Alameda County, we and our franchisees don't have records for all positions dating back to the early 80s.
A copy of the letter was posted by an anonymous McDonald's franchise owner on social media, confirmed by the Wall Street Journal.
They can't find it, and it's driving them crazy.
Maybe she didn't work there because they haven't really been saying a whole lot about it.
Later in the program today, you know, Kamala Harris, there were these two kids at the University of Michigan.
And when Kamala went to speak, they shouted, Jesus is Lord and Christ is king, which, by the way, is a Christian, I believe with all my heart.
I don't proselytize people.
Christians, you know, are misunderstood in my view.
They're looking to be better.
They recognize their own failures.
They want to have the word repentance from the Latin to change one's heart.
And they want to be better people.
And everybody goes through their own personal religious journey.
And I don't judge people.
If they ask me about my faith, I'm glad to share it with them because I believe all of that.
But anyway, then they got booed by the crowd.
And then Kamala just so condescended.
You guys are at the wrong rally.
I'm like, wow.
Why not say thank you for being here?
When JD Vance was asked the same question, he said, Yeah, Jesus is Lord and Christ is king.
And it's like, just the difference was unbelievable.
So, a town hall event with the Ever Dower.
This was real, this was real joy on display watching Liz Cheney, who has basically compromised everything, every stated position she's ever had, has now aligned with the people that referred to her father as a murderer and a war criminal and a crook with Halliburton and every stated position on the economy and on foreign policy just because she hates Donald Trump.
And then apparently, the former first lady of California, Maria Shriver, admitted while hosting the event with Liz Cheney in Michigan that she would only include predetermined questions.
Are we going to be able to ask a question?
asked the woman.
You're not.
Unfortunately, we have some predetermined questions.
And hopefully, I'll be able to ask some of the questions that might be in your head.
So I hope so.
Meaning, no, they're predetermined.
You can't make this up.
I'll tell you one thing.
I haven't interviewed Donald Trump.
You don't even have to.
I mean, first of all, he'll talk for hours.
You don't have to interrupt him because he's not just giving you 20 minutes like they tried to give Brett Baer, which is ridiculous.
You can't do a real interview in 20 minutes.
You just can't.
And then they ice him by showing up 17 minutes late.
But anyway, 93 days.
Kamal has not had a closing press conference.
The closing message is fear.
It is lying.
The closing statements of the campaign could not be.
Donald Trump is Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin all in one.
You know, if you listen to James Carville, he's warning journalists will be locked up if Donald Trump wins the election.
He's going to arrest all of you.
And he says this on MSDNC.
If he wins, he's going to say, I told people I was going to do this.
I have the legitimacy of an election behind me.
And he will, you know, have a point because I do five interviews in a day and answer 20 questions.
18 of them are about the polling.
We've become a nation of polling analysts, he complains.
And he said, you know, we live under a set of laws and on and on and on.
It's all fearmongering.
And then, of course, the race card and et cetera, et cetera.
And then he says, well, you know, call somebody and tell them that they're probably going to be in jail.
They're complaining if Donald Trump wins, he's going to use the Justice Department to go after opponents.
I'm like, where have these people been the last, you know, four plus years, six years, eight years?
It's like they, what?
They haven't realized their own lawfare and the weaponization of their own justice department.
And he's saying, every time you have somebody who's a friend of yours saying, I'm going to vote for Trump, you need to say, just so you know, that what you're voting for, do you really want me to go to jail?
Well, that's the anti-Trump talking point, I guess, of the week.
And it's being echoed from everybody to Carville to Kamala Harris, who's also calling Trump a fascist.
But if it did happen, let me just speak out very loudly and clearly.
The only one that didn't show that isn't going there is, believe it or not, is Bill Maher.
And he said, Trump wins.
I'm going to keep doing my show.
I'm not going anywhere.
And I'm going to make jokes about him because he knows he's not going to be arrested.
Rachel Maddow will be able to spew all her conspiracy theories.
They're not going to come after James Carville.
And, you know, however, Donald Trump is not going to do to them what they did to him.
You know, Hillary's allies of the DOJ, James Comey.
Do I need to go through all of this?
You know, look at all the women that start naming names: General Flynn, Paul Manafort, pre-morning raid, guns drawn, you know, Carter Page, Roger Stone.
Oh, fake news, CNN cameras showed up for that baby.
George Papadopoulos, you know, FBI SWAT teams, pre-dawn raids, guns drawn on Manafort and Stone's private homes.
You know, then we've got a Blitzkrieg, you know, prosecuting, going after Mark Meadows, Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell.
You know, and it just goes on and on.
I don't want, I don't want any lawfare, and I would never support, and I'll be the first outspoken conservative.
They wouldn't defend me, but I would defend them if it was like that.
But this is where they're now going.
And then I'm watching Charlemagne the God.
We'll get to him later in the program today, claiming that Trump is racist.
Now, this is a guy that interviewed Joe Biden back in 2020.
Remember, he made the famous remark: Are you going to vote for Trump?
Well, you ain't black.
Like, huh?
And here's the thing: Charlemagne's a smart guy.
Linda, you're friends with him, right?
You know him.
Well, you have a relationship with him of some kind.
Okay, he knows you.
Does he know what you do?
I think he knows what I do.
Yeah.
Okay.
And, you know, will you please maybe remind him that Joe Biden partnered with a former Klansman by the name of Robert KKK Bird, and that they're the ones that Kamala was talking about when Kamala excoriated Joe,
saying I was that girl, and they partnered to stop the integration of schools and busing because Joe said he didn't want public schools to become racial jungles.
And then Donald Trump, who gave more money.
And you might want to recommend to him: interview who we had on you yesterday, Kwame Kilpatrick and Alice Marie Johnson, and tell them to investigate criminal justice reform and the pardons and commutations of Donald Trump.
And you might want to remind him, I'll give out the economic numbers everywhere later in the program today, but African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, women in the workplace, African-American youth unemployment never did better in 60 years except under Donald Trump's policies, those tax cut policies.
And then they ask him this: if you look at any town, city that has been run by Democrats for decades, how are the schools doing?
How are they doing in predominantly minority neighborhoods?
How is law and order and safety and security in the age of defund dismantled no-bail laws that Democrats support?
I don't know.
I just have a few questions because him going after Laura Trump, I thought was a low blow.
And I think he doesn't have a lot of facts that we could pass on to him.
I'd be glad to pass them on to him.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour, 800-941 Sean is on number.
You want to be a part of the program?
Election Day is today.
I'm saying it differently now.
Two weeks from today is officially Election Day, but early voting is going on now in most states around the country.
And therefore, I want to remind you: it may not be the system you love and the one you want.
It's certainly not the one I want.
I've described it many times.
I won't repeat it here.
But I think that voting early and voting by mail and embracing the system we're stuck with is the best option we have.
And then you can't change the system and improve it unless you win elections.
And the way to do that is not start election day out down hundreds of thousands of votes.
And God forbid there's another Hurricane Helene.
I mean, look what it did to Georgia and South Carolina, Tennessee, and especially North Carolina got hammered and Florida got hammered.
I mean, it's devastating.
And by the way, the worst hurricane response in history.
So if you can bank your vote, I urge all of you to consider that.
As a public service, we have how to register in your state, your Commonwealth, how to, you know, when early voting starts, when early voting stops.
We have the Kamala files, her radicalism in her own words, and Walls' radicalism in his own words.
Again, all is a public service.
You know, in today's economic environment, it's very stressful for so many people.
Many people are putting bare necessities on credit cards and with high interest credit card debt, not the best option.
If you're in that situation and you are a homeowner, I have good news because home values have gone up in the last year about 10% on average.
And AmericanFinancing.net, they're helping thousands and thousands of families like you who are being put, you know, who have been putting everyday expenses on credit cards get out from underneath that debt and those high interest rates by tapping into your home's equity.
And AmericanFinancing.net is saving their borrowers on average $800 a month.
Well, that could be the difference between making ends meet and being in the red every month.
Now, $800 a month is like a $10,000 raise, and it costs absolutely nothing to find out how much you can save.
They'll give you a free, no-obligation consultation.
They're closing some homes and refinancing in as little as 10 days.
That means you could get that stress off your head.
Anyway, there's no better time now to turn around your situation.
Call them at AmericanFinancing.net 866-615-9200, 866-615-9200 or AmericanFinancing.net.
NMLS 22334, NMLS ConsumerAccess.org.
I just, I know if your friends, I think Charlemagne is very talented, by the way.
And I just think that, and it's fine that he's a liberal or fine that he's a Democrat.
I just like, do you not know about Joe Biden's history?
Do you not know?
Because I find whenever conservatives or Republicans, you know, this blanket accusation that Republicans are racist.
No, they're not.
There's never been a president and Donald Trump that did more for criminal justice reform that has helped African Americans than Donald J. Trump did.
That is just a fact.
There's never been anybody that, you know, I wish he would interview the people we had on yesterday, Kwame Kilpatrick and Alice Murray Johnson.
I mean, hear their stories.
Hear what they have to say about Donald Trump and how he changed their lives.
You know, without going into all the details, you look at Donald Trump's track record and it speaks for itself.
It's been pretty amazing.
You know, for the first three years of his presidency, before the worst pandemic in 100 years, the Trump tax cuts were the result of this.
The overall growth rate in the country was 6.8%.
And then if it was even greater, 7.9% for African Americans, 7.1% for Hispanic Americans, 10.6% for Asian Americans, all record highs, every one of them, as were new income levels for every demographic that I just mentioned.
And as for, you know, well, the Trump tax cuts only benefit the rich.
No, that's false.
As incomes grew in 2019, the poverty rate went to the lowest point, a 60-year low under Donald Trump's policies.
The largest reduction in poverty in over 50 years.
4.1 million Americans out of poverty, the largest yearly decrease since 1966.
And by the way, to compare the Obama-ba-Biden era, the number of people living in poverty went up nearly a million, 787,000.
Minority groups experienced the largest improvements.
Their poverty rate dropped the largest.
Again, it's 60 years.
Amazing numbers.
And this is all according to the White House Council of Economic Advisors.
And, you know, the proof is in the pudding.
I'll tell you what, what people are going to end up, I think, what they're going to end up voting about.
They're going to vote about the borders aren't safe and secure, and we all know it, and they're lying about it.
And they lied for three years.
No, the border is secure.
Inflation is transitory.
They just lie through their teeth.
And then, of course, they defund, dismantle, no-bail laws, you know, supporting a bail fund for rioters in the summer of 2020, four days after a police precinct is burned to the ground.
How's that not supporting rioting and insurrection?
And they take everything Trump says out of context.
And then when all else fails, just call them a racist.
I don't associate with racist people.
Democrats, like they're the ones that we're praising.
Joe Biden praising his friend and his mentor, the former Klansman Robert Byrd, partnering with him to stop the integration of public schools.
He didn't want public schools to be racial jungles.
That just is infuriating to me.
There's no conservative that I know that supports that.
But that's here in the days and weeks.
You know, in the final hours, that's all they've got because they can't say the border is more safe and secure.
It's the biggest national security threat in our history.
Crime is up dramatically in small towns and big cities.
They can't run on that either.
They can't run on the economy because we pay more for everything we buy in every store we go to.
They can't claim that gas prices are cheaper because we're paying a buck buck fifty more a gallon.
They can't claim that our schools are better because they're not.
You know, these Democratic-run states, cities, they've been run by Democrats for decades.
You know, go to predominantly minority neighborhoods.
How are their schools compared to other states?
How are they doing?
How's it in New York City, Chicago?
How's law and order in Chicago and New York City?
It's unbelievable.
By the way, on this issue of this threat to democracy, the Washington Post poll shows that who do a better job of defending threats against democracy, against threats to democracy.
Yeah, Donald Trump wins 4340.
He wins by 15 points on the economy, 15 points on immigration, 10 points on crime.
And Kamala Harris, who wants to eliminate health care and on abortion, where she has no limits even in months seven, eight, and nine, and are issues of less importance to voters.
He wins on those in the swing states, according to the Washington Post.
You know, they are getting very nervous within Democratic Party ranks.
I can tell you, I am hearing it directly, and that they don't know what to do at this point.
Because they have a weak candidate, and they've always had a weak candidate.
So this is their closing argument.
You know, let's send James Carville out there.
Democrats should ask Trump supporting friends, do you really want me to go to jail?
Is this a joke?
Listen.
We're two weeks away.
One candidate says we should follow the Constitution.
We should keep the Constitution.
We should try to improve the Constitution.
Another candidate says, I'm going to rip the Constitution up.
I don't care about the Constitution.
I don't care about people's individual rights.
I'm going to arrest political opponents.
That is correct.
Just so you know that, this is not an exaggeration.
All right.
This is not to say, well, he's really not.
didn't mean he's going to really get rid of Social Security, James.
No, he is telling you right to your stupid face that he is going to use the military to arrest and suppress his political opponents.
But I'm sure that I and everybody else that does this for a living is going to get asked, well, what about the swing voters in such and such a state?
You know where they got all swing from?
The end of a rope.
All right.
That's what they're coming for.
They're telling you, they're begging.
And he's saying, look, they're wrong.
This is what I said I'm going to do, and I plan on doing it.
And you better pay attention.
And every time you have somebody that is a friend of yours, you know, somebody says, well, you know, I'm going to vote for Trump.
Just so you know what you're voting for, do you really want me to go to jail?
Because that's what you're voting for.
He's telling you.
What about the weaponization of this DOJ?
And the way that the FBI acted in 2016 and 51 former Intel officials in 2020 and all the associates that have been prosecuted and pursued by this DOJ.
Nathan Wade admits to the Judiciary Committee that he was meeting with the White House regularly.
Oof.
Yeah, it's obvious they can't run on the issues that matter.
Georgia, we have some polling information, but again, assume if you're in Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, or any state for that matter, assume that your vote will be the deciding vote.
Anyway, new poll out.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution has Trump up by four in Georgia.
I would not take that to heart.
If you're in Georgia, I would get out to vote.
There's a latest poll that shows that Kamala is failing to connect with men.
That's one of the things that have come out, African-American men as well.
Donald Trump has now overtaken Harris for the first time in the Hill in their decision election forecast.
Trafalgar, that's Robert Cahaley.
It says Trump has expanded his lead in Pennsylvania, and Dave McCormick is pulling ahead of Casey.
It's now a one-point race for the Senate in Michigan with Mike Rogers having a chance to have an upset in that state.
Bernie Moreno is now showing signs of life in Ohio with a poll showing him up for the first time.
Things have changed dramatically.
Anyway, Donald Trump up by three in the Trafalgar poll in Pennsylvania.
But if you're in Pennsylvania, take nothing for granted.
The election odds show Donald Trump has a 58% chance of winning elections.
Some people dismiss it and say that one big vote can change it, but it's like all the betting sites are doing it.
How much are they going to have this year?
I read this this morning, and it was like a trillion, more than two trillion, I'm sorry, two billion dollars, not trillion, have been bet on the election already.
I mean, people aren't put the people that bet that I know, nobody wins, by the way, in the end, but people that bet they put a lot of time and research into it.
In that sense, I think it's a poll.
New York Times, Sienna College poll released last week.
Harris support among African-American men has dropped more significantly.
70% said they vote for Harris in November, down from Biden's 85% in 2020.
The NAACP survey shows that one in four black men under 50 said they're supporting Donald Trump.
This has got people freaked out.
That's why you know the polling drove Barack Obama to excoriate lecture when he came out of his Matha's Vineyard multi-million dollar mansion, you know, to talk about the brothers not supporting her because she's a woman.
That didn't go over well.
Gretchen Whitmer's support for her didn't go over well, mocking Christians and Catholics.
Not working out well when Bill Clinton says Lake and Riley would be alive if they'd only vet illegal immigrants since he was the border czar.
But all of this is now playing a big part in this election.
All of it.
And they're trying to fearmonger.
Now, Donald Trump, on the other hand, is Madison Square Garden rally sold out in three hours.
By the way, if you're a friend of mine from New York, I am sorry.
I can't get tickets.
There you go.
Everyone's been asking, and I tried.
I can't.
I don't have contact, and I don't last for free stuff anyway.
A woman served by Trump at McDonald's revealed the details behind the scenes.
And Mr. President, please don't let the U.S. become my native Brazil.
We played that for you yesterday.
Pretty amazing.
As I look at what they're doing, if they think that Liz Cheney is the answer and the sitting down with Maria Shriver, who said the crowd can't ask questions because the questions are predetermined, maybe she just misspoke.
I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.
I've met her before.
You're not, unfortunately.
We have some pre-determined questions, and hopefully, I'll be able to ask some of the questions that might be in your head.
I hope predetermined, maybe not the right use of words.
I don't know.
But Liz Cheney is not exactly the joy candidate of anybody.
Looks pretty dour.
And she's now aligned herself with a party that they hate the Cheneys.
Garth Vader, her dad, the war criminal, her dad.
The murderer, her dad, the crook at Halliburton, her dad.
And every position you've ever stated publicly, you're willing to compromise because you hate Trump that much.
He's not going to have an impact on the election.
We now find illegal immigrants caught at the border or being flown out of San Diego to possibly, according to one report and one official, cover up before the election.
And of course, we know what's going to happen.
There was a liberal think tank that came out last week and said they expect another 12 and a half illegal immigrants to come into the country under if Kamala Harris is elected president.
Pretty insane.
Anyway, 800-941-Shawn is our number if you want to be a part of the program.
The economy, the saddest story I saw is, yeah, give up your dreams of a backyard in the American dream.
Maybe you need to settle for a townhouse because the economy is never coming back.
That's just wrong.
I can tell you how we could be the richest country on earth.
It's all energy.
We have more energy resources than any country on earth.
Drill, baby, drill, frack, baby, frack.
It will take care of all of our Western European countries, friends, allies.
They'll no longer be dependent on Vladimir Putin.
And that will make America the richest country on earth.
Why do you think all these Middle Eastern countries are so rich?
It's all oil.
And we have more oil, natural gas, which is a clean burning gas than they do.
And we're just too stupid to tap into it.
And we probably could eliminate after a number of years.
We could pay off the debt and eliminate the income tax and live really, really well.
And every American could have a big house with a big backyard for their kids and not have to settle for a townhouse, which, by the way, I'm perfectly happy in.
I have no desire to live in a big mansion.
Anyway, 800-941-Shauna is our number.
want to be a part of the program summer's ended now it's back to busy schedules that means you're going to be using your car a lot more and for many americans they can't afford a new car they can't even afford a a newer used car before you start putting those miles on this fall you might want to consider car shield do it now and before god forbid you have an expensive repair come up maybe a blown engine tranny i mean everything is so expensive parts and labor are crazy broken ac broken water pump, whatever it is.
Anyway, at Car Shield, they are America's most trusted vehicle protection company.
