Hour two, Sean Hannity Show, toll free.
It's 800-941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program.
Interesting, during the presser yesterday, Biden admitting Democrats could nominate someone else at the convention.
This also kind of reiterated this morning when Jim James Clyburn, who I think is a very influential and powerful congressman from South Carolina, you know, is fully supporting him, staying in the race, but did make clear Democrats have until the 19th of August at the open of their convention.
However, he'll be nominated before them, before then virtually, as we've been pointing out.
But here's Joe Biden and what he said at this uh press conference yesterday.
If I may, your convention is coming up where your delegates are pledged to make you the official nominee.
If they have second thoughts, are they free to vote their conscience?
Obviously, they're free to do whatever they want, but I get overwhelming support.
Overwhelming support.
I won how I forget how many votes I won in the primary.
Overwhelming.
And so tomorrow, if all of a sudden I show up at the convention, everybody says we want somebody else.
That's democratic process.
It's not gonna happen.
Sure.
Not gonna happen.
All right, then he of course referred to Donald Trump as Vice President Trump.
Look, I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president, but I think she was not qualified to be president.
So let's start there.
Okay, and then the Putin Zelensky mix-up.
And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine who has as much courage as he has determination.
Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin.
President Putin.
You're gonna beat President Putin.
President Zelensky.
I'm so focused on beating Putin, we gotta worry about it.
Anyway, Mr. President I'm better.
You are a hell of a better.
Thank you so much.
And I've as I've been observing, I mean, i in many ways it's the best you're gonna get out of Biden yesterday.
It wasn't a total disaster.
Uh those were were definitely the worst screw-ups of the day.
But what you really witnessed was frankly a typical, strange, bizarre, unpredictable day in the life of Joe Biden where the nation is, you know, hanging by its thread.
It becomes much C TV because you have no idea who's gonna show up.
Uh it's obviously a man in steep cognitive decline.
Uh high energy, low energy, yelling, oh I'm gonna tell you about one bullet, you know, versus it's not gonna happen.
Not gonna happen.
And then by the end of the the press conference, he's just clearly petering out.
It's like, all right, that's enough now, Joe.
Time to go home.
You know, you're you're up 59 minutes.
This is a record for you.
And but that's why the big lie, the big cover-up with Democrats, the media mob, they've all known, and this is why it's so insidious, not only for the country, but for the world, because they've they've known all about this.
Anyway, here with the reaction, former speaker of the house, New Kingrich.
How are you, sir?
Okay, I just went and walked around the convention.
Uh it's amazing.
Uh I I can report to you.
You'll appreciate this given how many years of friendship.
I actually got to blow up some balloons.
We're gonna have a hundred and fifty thousand balloons.
Just to uh, you know, we've been together so many years.
I just have to share with you I'm in Milwaukee.
I went and walked the uh convention areas this morning.
I actually got to blow up some balloons.
Uh they're gonna have a hundred and fifty thousand balloons in the balloon drop on Thursday night.
Typically Trump, I think the largest balloon drop in presidential history, and who is fun just being by the way, of course it's Donald Trump.
Why would it be anything less?
Right.
So I got I'm I'm now officially a balloon person, uh, and I got some pictures with the young folks blowing up the balloons, it was hysterical.
Um look, I I think the a couple of realities.
I don't see anything that forces Joe Biden to get out.
Uh I don't see any mechanism for him.
I mean, if he had if yesterday had been a disaster, the pressure would have built more, but why you had it exactly right.
It was mediocre, uh, it was less than we'd like from a president, but it wasn't a disaster.
Uh and so I think that actually undermines the momentum.
But even if the momentum was accelerating, what are they gonna do?
I mean, if Pelosi and and Hakeem and and uh Schumer go down there and go, oh, please get out, please get out, please see he's just gonna turn on him.
He's gonna say, I got fourteen and a half million votes.
How many votes did you guys get in the primary?
What what's your standing for telling me what to do?
And frankly, the polls have been good enough, although I think they're phony, but they nonetheless prop him up.
Um their polls of one I just had analyzed by a good friend.
Uh there was there was uh not registered voters, it was it was American adults, uh and it was just sort of a junk poll, but it made Biden look like he was competitive.
So you know you you're Joe Biden and your and your Jill and your Hunter and your there huddling together uh really like a scene from The Godfathers This is the family, and the family is hunkered down, and uh I don't see how they prime up.
So I think that that Trump has to be planning uh for a campaign uh in which Joe Biden's his opponent is fall.
You have two major factions that have emerged now we know one faction is being led by Barack Obama, who is undermining his very own position because after the debate with Donald Trump, he tweeted out, uh I know a thing or two about bad debates.
Anyone could have a bad night, not a big deal.
You got people like James Clyburn strongly supporting him.
He saved his campaign back in 2020.
Uh you have the AOC in the squad again.
I may not like them.
I don't agree with anything they stand for, but you can't doubt their power and influence over pretty much everything that goes on in the Democratic caucus, and they're they're standing firmly behind him.
So you you got the donor class, you got the elite establishment class, you've got the Hollywood leftist elitist class, you know, seemingly lining up against Biden.
But you've got groups that are, I would argue are more closely connected to rank and file American voters, the the millions that voted for Joe Biden, uh saying not so fast.
And uh you know, basically it's a matter of will, and if he makes it past the nomination process, unless he has a massive fall or a real horrible cognitive moment, I would say that he's their guy and they've got to ride that horse.
Yeah, I mean, even if he were to have a fall, or even if he would have uh a cognitive breakdown, he's still the horse.
I mean, none of those things change the fact that he is the person who virtually is I I think he has ninety-seven percent of all the delegates.
Now, if you believe in a free society, what what I think he has thirty-nine hundred out of four thousand.
That's pretty b that's pretty impressive.
Okay, so think about it.
That that means, by the way, you've got to get over two thousand delegates to vote to replace the sitting president of the United States.
Now, I d I just don't think that's gonna happen.
If he were to decide for some reason to step down, that would be a different world.
But he ain't gonna do that.
And then he performed well enough yesterday, and of course we've all watched Joe pump him up.
So you know she said to him, Oh, you were brilliant, it was an amazing hour.
Oh, Joey, you still got it.
Don't let these guys bother you.
And he has the objective record.
George H. W. Bush was nineteen points behind Michael Dukakis and won.
Bill Clinton was running third in the summer and won.
I mean, there's no reason for him to say, gosh, I'm falling apart.
I think I should quit.
And I don't think he's going to.
And what the Democrats have done is they've given the Republicans and Donald Trump the finest commercials you can imagine.
Because all they got to do is take what Democrats have said, put them into one video, put him up and say, on a bipartisan basis, let's listen to the Democrats about Joe Biden.
And it's going to be pretty stunning.
You know, one of one of the things I love about you is in your heart of hearts, you're a professor and a historian, and I I am just fascinated by the the day by day, hour by hour developments regarding all of this.
I I can't get enough coverage of this.
I mean, one of the things that makes Joe Biden must see TV in in a press conference or a situation like yesterday, which is so rare, is that you have no idea which Joe is going to show up.
I can play every version of Joe you want me to play.
Um maybe my favorite is when the RNC came out with with this particular ad, because it's pretty pretty devastating and hard-hitting.
The political coverage.
Looks some of the political players.
And some of the let me ask a rhetorical question.
I've got hours of these tapes.
Now, this is what infuriates me, because this is the big, you know, Joe Biden cognitive decline lie cover up conspiracy that I think we need to get to the bottom of, because I think everybody knew and everybody knowingly lied, and they're all feigning outrage and shock and they know better.
But uh, you know, that Biden could have showed up at the press conference yesterday, but it wasn't that Biden.
Right.
You never know what you're gonna get.
That's what makes it so interesting to watch.
Well, I mean, the reason that all of us who are in politics find this totally fascinating, uh ask yourself this.
If somebody had made a movie about a cruise ship in 1912 that crossed the Atlantic and the iceberg missed, and the ship happily got to New York, I don't think it would have been one of the biggest selling movies of all time.
But watch it.
I think you I think you're right, Mr. Professor Historian, yes.
You know, and so it's like going to a NASCAR race and waiting to see if somebody's gonna wipe out.
I mean, you know, people so that's the reason you watch NASCAR like everybody else, because that's why I watched NASCAR.
So all I'm saying is watching by the the best analogy, I think is in winter sports, is the people who do the the long ski jumps, and you wonder whether or not when they land they're gonna crash and burn or they're gonna out be elegant and beautiful.
Well, every time Biden gets to the top of the ski slope and launches in a in a press conference or a speech, or you name it, you're holding your breath wondering is he gonna land on his skis or on his nose?
Uh and that's a great way to put it.
It's either gonna be the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat.
You don't know.
Exactly.
Exactly.
But all I'm saying is, under our constitutional structure, he is the incumbent president.
He has won, as you pointed out, 3900 out of 4,000 delegates.
He's gotten 14 and a half million people to vote for him to be the nominee, and the other side's got nothing.
And so the other side can complain and whine and show up in the news media, but the truth is they have no natural leverage to get rid of him.
I mean, that is the amazing part of all of this.
They really, really don't.
And I saw a very defiant Joe Biden.
All right, quick break, right back more with former speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, your calls on the other side, 800-941 Sean, as we continue.

One of his closest friends, and I thought this was pretty interesting, said there's no way in hell he's getting out.
He hates these people.
Now, for years it's been long rumored that Obama and Biden don't like each other.
Remember, it was Obama that supported Hillary over him.
It was Obama, you know, that said never underestimate Joe's ability to F things up.
Oh, I I think there's a sense that when he talks about elites, he's talking about Obama.
And he's talking about the notion we have all these guys who went to Harvard and Columbia, and they think they're so smart, and I came out of Delaware, and they don't think I'm nothing.
And I'm gonna show them.
And I think there's I think there's not not only no love loss, I think under uh deep down, Biden despises Obama.
I I think you're right.
And look, if at this point, and and I by the way, I think it was all teed up.
Once NATO was over, the the dam had broken, word had gone out, the wink and nod from Obama, the approval was given, and and all these congressmen that came out after the press conference yesterday, that they had those those press releases written probably days ago, and they were just waiting for the NATO conference to end.
Um many of them are running for the hills because they're in in tight race, marginal districts, and and they they just really care about self-preservation more than anything else, right?
That's right.
I mean, I mean, a part of it is if you're tester and you're in a state that Trump's probably gonna carry by more than 16 points, and you're watching your candidates decay.
Well, I mean, there is a number where you can't possibly win.
And I think that's what's being brown in Ohio, where you know Trump is going to carry Ohio by an amazing number.
And it's gonna get better.
Uh and the polling date I saw today when Rasmussen just came out and said Trump is now up six.
Um last question.
Who do you like for VP?
Because I'm running out of time.
Well, I mean, uh it doesn't matter who I like, questions whether this is Trump like my hunch is he's gonna pick JD Vance because if you're trying to carry Pennsylvania, J.D. Vance is the best position as an Ohioan who understands the Midwest.
All right, interesting.
Um I'm I'm staying out of it.
Um my attitude is Trump should pick who he wants and who is comfortable with.
And now you're out of it?
Well kind of No, I mean, I I I weigh in and I weigh out.
I just, you know what?
At this point, I'm just like, you know what?
I actually think that this election's going to be decided based on Trump versus Biden, regardless of who else is in the race.
That's my opinion.
Um anyway, Mr. Speaker, we love having you.
You're the best.
Uh my best to Callista.
800-941 Shauna's our number if you want to be a part of the program.

Uh all right, let's get to our busy telephones.
Uh let's say hi to Herb or Herb.
It's in South Carolina.
How are you, sir?
Glad you called.
Good afternoon, Sean.
It is my opinion that the Democrats are executing a well orchestrated plan with with Biden.
They've known for years that Biden has been incompetent and uh just a puppet.
So they've got plenty of money through uh various organizations and other individuals that these people are.
Well, but just remember though, one thing is that the elites in the party that are trying to push him out, they have froze basically frozen the money.
They've gotten to the donor class, which is massive.
I mean, you have the all these billionaires that fund all this garbage, and they have basically frozen out any more fundraising and and they're not supporting it as a means of squeezing Biden out.
That's part of their strategy.
I agree.
And uh I would wish that I hope that all the Republicans stick in there, stick together and say, let's keep Biden in.
He's he's uh he's confident, he's okay, because uh obviously Trump would be best running against Biden.
And I I think I'm I I think you're right, but you gotta you gotta entertain the possibility of anything happening.
I mean, uh uh who knows what they're gonna do.
You know, we we don't know.
And who knows what Biden's gonna do.
And who knows if there's some other master plan, you know, behind the scenes.
I don't think so.
I don't sense it yet.
There's no indication of it.
But you know, I I I am just telling everybody don't get cocky.
Don't think this thing is in the bag.
You know, you've you've got to play this game hard.
This is a blood sport.
They call it a blood sport for a reason.
It's an ugly, it's an ugly profession.
It just is.
And Democrats are really good at playing that sport.
And I would just say to you that, you know, every Republican, every conservative, everyone that sees that we're becoming a banana republic for all the reasons we stayed every day.
You've got to act like it's you're down by six points.
You you've got two minutes left in the game.
You've got no timeouts, you're on your own 20.
You gotta march down the field 80 yards, cross the plane, kick the extra point to win, and that your vote might be the deciding vote.
That's how you have to view this.
It's a inflection point for the country.
Embrace voting early, embrace voting by mail.
Uh you've got to overcome your reluctance and resistance if you want more integrity measures in the future.
That's it.
You have to win elections first.
Well, I think part of the problem is we've got an awful lot of rhinos that are in the Republican Party, and another word for Rhinos is a Democrat.
There's no doubt about it.
And uh we'll see how many Republicans are jumping on this Let's Ditch Biden deal.
I think uh hopefully the the rabbit in the hat isn't too much too magical, and uh Biden hangs in there.
That's what we need.
Well, so far what I saw last night is a Biden that in many ways, probably to the best of his ability, as imperfect as it was, it was pretty much a typical day in the life of you know Joe Biden,
as I've been saying, you know, you know, obvious cognitive decline, you know, starts out with high high energy, ends with like zero energy, yelling, whispering, and maybe not as tongue-tied as normal, but very strange, very bizarre, which makes it must see TV.
Anyway, appreciate the call.
Her have a great weekend, my friend.
God bless you.
Uh, Jim in Chicago.
What is the best hot dog place where you where you have the natural casing in it in Chicago?
I might as well get ahead of this this game.
Oh, those all closed up.
Those were the hot dog wagons they had on street corners, but uh there's a couple still left on the north side, but I don't think they're very good.
You got wiener circle, I think they still have them.
And they have the you know what I mean by natural casing, right?
Yeah, that's my favorite kind where you bite into it and it snaps from the case.
The snap, yeah.
All right.
So what's the name of the place?
Linda, write this down if you don't mind.
I think I think Wiener's Circle still has it, but there's another one up.
There's another one outside by the airport.
I know because I've been there.
Yeah, it's got a giant hot dog on the top of it.
They've been around for 40 years.
I can't remember the name of it, but uh, yeah, it's on Central, I think it is, or Austin and Devon.
Everybody's gonna think I'm a food addict by all the questions asked.
Anyway, what's on your mind today, Jim?
Okay, I think everyone is overlooking.
I want Trump to win, but I think he's gonna lose, and here's why.
You've got a lot of uh a lot of games that the Democrats are gonna play in the next three and a half months.
A lot of mud they're gonna throw on the wall.
And I personally think that Biden will find a way to get rid of them.
If they don't, I think they're gonna replace Kamala with somebody like uh Hillary to strengthen the ticket.
But personally, I think he's don't.
So anyway, getting back to the VP list.
None of the VPs on his short list are expanding the base.
In other words, whether you put in the North Dakota governor, it's not like his fans are gonna vote for Biden because he wasn't elected as vice president.
So why don't you just think about this, the psychology of it?
You've got to expand the base.
A big base is a suburban college educated women, and they overwhelmingly vote with emotion, and they also don't like Trump.
So my thing would be put a female on the ticket, and I would go with someone like Tulsi Gabbard, because it shows he's willing to take a female on.
She's great when she talks, and it shows he's willing to reach across the aisle.
So he'll expand his base, he'll capture some of that suburban female disillusioned, disaffected Democrat base and the independence.
None of the other VP candidates will do that, and I think you're the only one that can present that as an idea to him because you have direct access.
I I know it's been discussed.
I can tell you that part.
Um I don't think she's in the finalist list uh based on reporting that I can I can share with you in terms of where I stand with with the finalists.
I think this is a personal decision for the president.
And at some point, everybody's got to stop weighing in and and getting in his ear.
And you know, it's gonna be whoever he's comfortable with at the end of the day, because I would assume we're gonna know by Monday, by the end of the day, I would just say that who it it uh the number one rule in picking a vice president is do no harm.
I don't want the person picked to bring harm to the ticket.
That would be my the most important rule.
The second thing is can that person bring in other voters that maybe maybe Trump wouldn't get on his own?
That would be the next thing that I'm looking for.
Uh Short of that, the most important, the most important part of this decision is who does Donald Trump want.
And Donald Trump, you know what?
He's a man of his own mind.
I've learned that a long time ago, and he's gonna make up his own mind.
And at the end of the day, he'll decide.
And I'm gonna I I think this cut this this election will come down between him and Biden anyway.
Uh anyway, appreciate the call, Jim.
You're the best.
Uh big time AJ Houston, Texas.
We got to send a shout out to all our friends in Houston, including my niece.
I mean, she lost power forever, and uh it's back on, thank God.
But I know y'all have been suffering down there, AJ.
We've been following it.
And uh, how are you doing, my friend?
Big time Sean Hannity.
Hey, the media don't even recognize what we just went through, and I'm for sure they said it was a one, but I it's got to be a two with all the damage that was done, and but we Texas, we got back up and got everything going.
But that judge that Lena Hodago lied on uh governor and uh lieutenant governor, he had everything set ready to go for everybody to get the power back, but now she he text her and text her and text her and she asked her, is anything you need?
No, no.
Uh, and then she didn't answer.
No, no.
And then all of a sudden now, all of a sudden, here everybody is out of power, business is out.
We back on track now a little bit better, Sean.
We uh thank God we doing a little bit better.
So everybody out there, Texas revived again.
And thank God it wasn't bigger uh three or four, Sean.
This one or two, it snapped poles.
It snapped, I mean, it pulled trees out the gut.
I mean, it did uh damage like you would never see.
But the cleanup is going good.
We're doing good, and everybody's shaking and baking.
I just didn't want it to mess our election up that's coming up.
Because if it had been a three or four, we'd have been months trying to get this thing together.
But we back You know how much I care about Texas.
God bless Texas, that's all I could say.
Yes, sir.
But now, hey, right quick to the idiots.
That Alino Dollar, that uh Dalgo or whatever she is, the thing she's doing to keep our state from really doing great is unbelievable in what she's getting away with.
But they trying to get Paxon again.
They trying to these Democrats, they keep running this gauntlet and they keep doing the same thing or rambling with Donald Trump.
They won't run the gauntlet.
So everybody, I'm telling you, all we don't be set aside.
We got to watch these people.
They cheated in the 2020, and I'ma say it, Sean.
You ain't got to say it.
They cheated in the 2020, and they gonna do it now because look at Joe Biden.
He thinks Trump is VP.
I'm like, what the world is going on?
And then when the media, they didn't even say nothing about the storm.
They didn't mention us.
I mean, they haven't said a word.
And I was telling Kate, hey, all the storms that can wipe these other towns off, the media haven't did a follow-up on none of them.
We don't even know how all I'm doing.
And they didn't say nothing about ours either.
And they still, my uncle didn't even know.
I'm like, really?
So the media is complex and everything from the election on up to this where what we going through right now.
But everybody, be ready, because these people don't play fair.
And Trump got a rally tomorrow.
Biden coming to Texas, I think Monday.
And boy, this I mean, the man last night, they keep saying, Oh, he's doing a great job.
He did a great job.
I'm like, what are y'all looking at it like y'all ready?
Y'all looking at y'all keep telling us we see, you see, this is the problem, AJ.
It's like guys like us, we we fall for cheap fake videos.
Don't believe your your eyes.
Don't believe what you see with your own eyes, unedited.
Because that's what they were telling us what less than a month ago, that we're all liars, and and that these videos of Joe being a cognitive mess are just cheap fakes, and the right-wing media are conspiracy theorists.
And and look what look what's happened.
One debate later, and and they're all they're they're all sounding the alarm as if this is a shock.
They're all just pathetic.
I mean, operation dump and destroy Biden is underway, and I don't think he's buying into it.
I mean, that's why, you know, I don't know what's gonna happen.
I wish I could predict.
I just don't know, man.
Well, you look in the mirror.
Anytime you see them lying, this is what they doing.
Everything they blaming Donald Trump, this is what they're doing.
And I hope the black folks and everybody else wake up and know what the Democrat Party has been doing to them for decades.
They come and they lie to you when the election come, and then they leave you with your hands empty.
I hope they wake up, Sean, because this election is the election of all our lifetimes and our kids and our grandkids.
And Biden and the Democrat Party cannot be running it.
Love you, Sean, and you hang in there, baby, and shake it a bit.
I told Joe Panks I was gonna shake and bait you, baby.

Hang on for Sean's conservative solutions.
We'll be right back.
You know, one of the biggest issues here is what Speaker Johnson has been calling the biggest cover-up scandal in history, and that of course being the Democratic Party, the state-run media mob.
Joe Biden's cognitive, you know, state cover-up lie and distortion.
It's it's you know, collusion at a level nobody ever thought of.
Uh it really is sad.
You know, John Stewart all of a sudden discovers what we've been saying, which is I've been saying, oh, he couldn't be a Walmart greeter.
Well, he had a little different take on it.
Listen.
I think that you are soft-selling the more fundamental aspect of people viewing somebody who I'll be perfectly honest with you.
I don't know of a job interview that you could have gone on and delivered the performance that was delivered by Joe Biden and gotten a job.
And I'm not talking about the presidency.
I'm talking about like cashier at home depot, like a job that you would not think, okay, that that is the hardest job in the entire world.
We do ourselves a disservice by saying our guy is old.
We know that.
He shuffles.
We know that it's not old.
It's not Bacaria, I think.
It is cognitive decline.
It's it's not just age, it's cognitive decline.
There are people who at the very least it's an inability to communicate, right?
Like I'm not a doctor, but like he can't, we need the the candidate that we run for president needs to be able to communicate effectively.
That's just the most basic.
It's the most basic part of the job of being a candidate for president is you need to communicate effectively.
And if you're reassure us that here's how we operate in that environment, but to suggest that this discounts three and a half years, it doesn't, but it does give you a window into the next four.
And if you look at his performance in 2020 versus his performance in 2024, there is inexorable decline.
It's just it's undeniable.
So what I don't understand is okay, fine, he stays, but deal with it head on.
Stop pretending.
Stop gaslighting.
He couldn't do anything.
Anyway, when we come back, the media mob that cover up Joe Concha, Kaylee McGee White, and your calls 800-941 Sean.
