Stay right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
All right, news roundup and information overload hour.
Here's our toll-free telephone number.
It's 800 941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Uh in a second, we'll be joined by South Carolina Senator, our friend Tim Scott is with us.
One of the things that has really, really emerged as we watch these lunatic protesters day after day, night after night, these uh encampments on college campuses is you know, I thought these universities were politically correct.
I thought they were woke.
I thought there were massive consequences if if God forbid you dared to use the wrong pronoun, you know, or if you said something insulting about another student, which I don't think anybody should do.
I believe in the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated.
But if you made a comment that or used a pejorative against the LGB uh TQ community, etc.
There would be real consequences.
But if they're chanting antifada, or if they're chanting from the river to the sea, or if they're chanting death to Israel, death to America, uh, and they have an encampment.
Well, these universities have been impotent, many of them, most of them, in dealing with the inmates that are running the asylum.
But there seems to be this seems to have emerged in this country.
Two groups of people, you can pretty much say anything you want with no consequences at all whatsoever.
You can be as insulting as you want, and that would be Jewish Americans and conservative African Americans.
Let me give you a case in point.
Uh you have over there at that hard-hitting news show, The View.
Uh, you have Sonny Houston.
They have been attacking Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina.
It's it's been unrelenting.
Listen to the uh hard-hitting news show, The View.
Just to speak for African American voters, if anyone thinks that Tim Scott is such the audience is cracking up.
Anyone thinks that Tim Scott is going to bring up over a bunch of black men, they really need to just get with it because Tim Scott is the only African American senator in the Republican Party for a reason.
The bottom line for for for for Tim Scott, what's so fascinating is you know he's running for vice president.
He endorses Trump on a Friday and then gets engaged on a Saturday and announces his engagement on a Sunday because it's like pick me.
I'm getting married this year, and no other vice president has been unmarried, right?
And has been successful.
So it just screams, I want to be your vice president.
I love you.
You know, uh anyway, Senator Tim Scott is with us.
Let me respond to the last part of that uh first.
We have been friends for many, many years, going back to the time when you were a congressman.
Is that true, Senator?
100% true, Sean.
Thanks for your friendship.
Okay.
And and how long have I known about you and your long-term girlfriend?
How long have I known her?
How long has that been?
How many years?
Because it's been years.
So long.
Actually, I know.
You you you've known about my last couple girlfriends, and that's true.
I decided to marry her Mary Mindy.
Uh you were one of the first people that we talked about because we were at lunch uh in Charleston.
So you have been uh on the inside track for years of my life.
And I thank you for frankly keeping it off the air.
You were respectful enough to let me have my private life and keep it private.
You know, you know what's so insulting?
Because I'm like you.
I I don't first of all, I don't think people really care about my private life, or apparently they do because they write about it all the time, which is uh annoying, but whatever.
You are a man of deep faith.
You are a man of incredible integrity, have amazing values.
You are a strong leader.
Uh you have fought hard your whole life.
Your family life and your background and your experience is just an amazing testament to who you are.
And I know you feel as I do that we stand on the shoulders of far greater people than us, our our our parents and grandparents, and people don't know that about you, and that that you want to know the truth, and I know our our mutual friends, the pastors are gonna be not liked it.
It pisses me off to no end.
It really does.
Well, Sean, I gotta say, whether they like it or not, it's a fact.
Uh it picks me off too, to be honest with you.
Here's what the funny thing is, and I don't mean ha-ha, obviously, Sean.
The women of the view hate my gut for one reason.
I keep telling Americans the truth, and I and especially minority Americans, that America is not a racist country.
Here's what the ladies of the view really believe.
They believe, like the Smithsonian, that hard work is racist.
They believe that math is racist.
They believe that having two parents in a household is racist.
And the bewildering thing for me, Sean, is my grandfather, born in the deep south, a third grade education, illiterate, he knew then what they doubt and deny now that hard work is a necessary component to succeeding in the greatest nation on God's green earth.
He knew then that education was the closest thing to magic in America.
And he believed that having a father and a mother in the house.
It's the exact opposite of racist, but most importantly, it's the exact opposite of poverty.
It solves poverty.
And what the women of the view want you, Sean, and me to believe is that those three things are somehow a part of the legacy of racism and discrimination.
Here's racism if you want to see it in America.
Well, tell tell people about your family background and and how you got and about your parents and grandparents.
Well, let me just say, Sean, growing up uh in South Carolina in a single parent household mired in poverty was my experience.
Having grandparents who believed that faith was the key and prayer would unlock the door.
In part they leaned on God because everything else had fallen apart.
My grandfather forced from school at third, the third grade and into cotton fields, really worked his tail off so that one day his grandkids could experience more of the American dream.
And he's the guy that taught me by watching him look through the paper when I was just seven and eight years old.
He's the guy that taught me that readers were leaders because he never learned to read, but he faked it for me and my brother, so that we would have an example in the household of someone who was a reader.
Sean, this is why I'm so excited about America and so disgusted with the women of the view.
They are lying to the American people, and every single one of them that has done well, they know they're lying to the American people.
They're lying to black Americans.
They pretend that the kids in Chicago, Illinois, trapped in segregated schools because the monopoly called the Democratic Party strapped poor black kids into failing schools and will not allow them to go to public schools in Chicago, Illinois, because they would rather have the support of the teachers' unions than to see a generation of kids grow up and be all they want to be.
We are the party that stands for those kids.
The Democrats, they're more committed to the teachers' unions than they are to poor kids in big cities who are able to kill each other but not get educated.
That's disgusting.
You know, there's so many problems that I know we know how to fix in this country.
We can solve the border crisis.
We can solve we can fix the economy.
We can fix failing schools.
Uh we can bring bring back law and order and safety and security so people can pursue happiness.
Uh these are Biden-induced policy problems.
And we certainly need a new president for that to happen.
Um let me ask you this question because I think as we move forward, did you ever in your lifetime think that you would hear such repulsive, virulent hatred and anti-Semitism on college campuses all across Europe,
from the river to the sea, death to Israel, death to America, and Tada chance, you know, all over these campuses, these encampments, the inmates running the asylum, uh you know, rampant anti-Semitism in Europe, uh gas the Jews, F the Jews in Australia.
I'm like, what what reality are we living in here?
I never thought I would see this in our lifetime, and here it is.
Sean, you're 100% right.
It is so disgusting.
And let me just say, last night I was on the floor of the Senate with a resolution to stamp out and to call it what it is disgusting.
The anti-Semitism we're seeing on college campuses is disgusting.
It is repulsive, it is un-American.
And I will say the one person who objected, not a single Republican objected last night, Sean.
One person objected, Bernie Sanders.
He said we should hate.
Yeah, he's useless.
I'm not surprised.
I can't even believe it.
Those Democrats are so committed to their political outcome that they're willing to be sympathetic to anti-Semites, they're willing to be empath sympathetic to hate, they're willing to literally allow anti-Semitism to rage so they will not upset their Democrat base.
It is absolutely repulsive to watch these Democrats to the floor and block common sense.
And then we have a president of the United States that has abandoned our ally Israel after the worst terror attack in their history.
And and I have a hard time understanding the president.
They're now withholding weapons from Israel that they desperately need to win their war against radical Islamic terrorists that that killed twelve hundred Israelis, took hundreds hostages.
Well, that would be the equivalent of 40,000 dead Americans in a day if you extrapolate out for the population.
Uh it's really unbelievable to me.
And I'm not sure why they're doing it.
We're living in a time that, you know, I can't imagine, you know, the the weaponization of our legal system with President Trump, you know, this farce of a trial there.
I mean, we are living in what I think are really dangerous times.
And if we don't win in 180 days, I don't know how this country ever gets back on track.
I really don't.
Well, Sean, you said so much there, and let me just break it apart for for for your view your listeners to see this.
Loyal.
We should be loyal to our allies, and President Biden has been anything other than loyal.
He literally has turned his back.
He's holding Netanyahu and Israel's arm behind their back.
He's named he surrendered in the war on terrorism.
He did indeed.
Listen, we we can go back to Afghanistan and watch the 13 American soldiers needlessly losing their lives because President Biden refused to be a leader.
We can look back at the Trump years in Eastern Europe and see no challenges to Ukraine.
But before there was a President Trump, Obama allowed an incursion.
After President Trump, Biden's full-scale war.
What we've learned, Sean, is that global peace requires a strong, powerful force in the American president Donald Trump is that force.
What we've seen today is a mosque taking advantage of the weak, feckless Joe Biden is now hopefully on the precipice of losing their existence because Netanyahu and the coalition government is now in Rafa doing what needs to be done, and the fastest way to save lives is to end that war as quickly as possible.
That, Sean, requires President Biden to stand shoulder to shoulders with President with Prime Minister Netanyahu and get the job done.
But it comes back to home.
Listen, Sean, you know this is better.
You know this is better than anyone I know.
The southern border is a national security risk.
It is an It's a clear and present danger.
Tens of thousands from our our top geopolitical foes and those that support terrorism.
How scary is that?
It is amazing to see President Biden turn a blind eye to the worst national security crisis in the last several decades on our own border since 9-11.
We're seeing 10 million invasions.
We've also seen 6,000 percent increase in Chinese Chinese nationals.
But we've seen people from Yemen and Iran, not just China.
Come across our southern border.
And here's what I think is really interesting.
The voters in the Democrat Party and some of the leaders are now becoming Republicans.
I've worked the last 10 years to make it easier for conservatives who happen to be black to join the party.
We have Misha Maynard from Georgia who said the state of education in the black community is a disaster.
Who will fix that?
Donald J. Trump.
She said that the economy.
We've been devastated in the poorest community.
Who can fix that?
Donald J. Trump.
She went from being a lifelong Democrat to a Republican.
The mayor is down.
Senator, I I gotta I gotta slow you down here.
I'll tell you what, only because I'm running out of time and you have so much to say.
Uh this is rare that I do this, but you're such a good guest.
If you have a few more minutes, we'll hold you over for a few minutes on the other side, and we'll we'll pick it up there.
Is that okay?
Absolutely.
This is a message America needs to hear.
All right, stay right there.
My friend Senator Tim Scott from the great state of South Carolina.
Look, uh his book's been out a while, but I'm gonna tell you if you've not read it, we'll we have a link on Hannity.com uh because it really is uh incredibly insightful.
America, a redemption story, choosing hope, creating unity.
Anyway, uh, you're gonna love that book, and it really hits home.
And America, a redemption story.
Think about that.
Hey there.

You're our kind of people.

We have Ted Cruz, Clay Travis, also Lindsey Graham.
Ooh.
Wait, do you see what he did with Defense Secretary Austin today?
Victor Davis Hansen and much more.
Nine Eastern Hannity on Fox.
Continue with our friend South Carolina Senator Tim Scott is with us.
Uh, you know, Senator, you you were going on about the dangers of of Joe Biden's open border policy.
I mean, since he's been president, over 10 million unvetted illegal immigrants have come into this country, tens and tens of thousands from China and Russia.
But also Egypt, home of the Muslim Brotherhood.
And of course, Afghanistan, home of Al-Qaeda, which has now reopened their training camps, and ISIS K and the number one state sponsor of terror.
Yeah, there are people coming from Iran and Syria.
Why are they coming to our border?
Well, I don't think it's for a better life for them and their children.
Uh I have no doubt we now have terror cells that Joe is allowed in this country.
And I don't think it's a matter of if.
I think it's a matter of when they will attack us, and it will be 9-11-like or maybe worse.
I pray to God that I'm wrong.
I don't think I am.
We were talking about that with Senator Tim Scott, great state of South Carolina, uh, Senator, and I I wanted to hold you over because you were making a lot of great points.
Well, Sean, one of the things that you're saying here, and this is one of the reasons why people love listening to your show, and I I thank every single listener for being a part of this American momentum.
That's what you create for us, American momentum.
Why do I say that?
Because you're the guy telling the truth, telling the facts.
I I've watched you.
You do your homework, Sean.
You don't just come and read off of a teleprompter at least you'd be much better than Joe Biden if you did.
But you you don't read off a teleprompter.
You don't just sit there and flip through your notes.
You do your homework.
And one of the things every single American benefits from are leaders who do their homework.
10 million illegal immigrants, the largest invasion in American history.
But if you dig down deeper into it, it's not just the Chinese nationals and the people who come from Middle East countries that hate us.
It is the result of that.
The result has to be sleepers in America waiting to be awake.
That should keep all American leaders up at night.
But Joe Biden, sleeping during the day, sleeping at night as well.
He is not even aware of the dangers in our own nation.
He is a terrible commander-in-chief.
That's why we need Donald Trump.
But here's the other part that is so important for Americans to understand.
It's not just a failure of Joe Biden.
It was a success of Donald Trump.
Let me compare two months.
December 2020 versus December 2023.
In December 2020, we had a thousand illegal people cross our border.
In December of two a day, in December of 2023, we averaged 10,000 a day.
What does that mean?
It means in 30 days, 300,000 people cross our southern border under Joe Biden, and less than 10% under You know, Jake.
It's it's just this is insane.
And the the fact, you know, that we've been lied to for three years.
Oh, the borders closed.
Oh, the border's secure.
Joe Biden's been lying about it.
The borders are uh Vice President Harris has been lying about it.
Mayorcus has been lying about it.
And then all of a sudden, then they shift gears in an election year, and and now they're contemplating executive orders that they bragged about eliminating the Trump policies that were actually working, and that, you know, we basically had our borders secure, and and they're also blaming Trump for their problems.
They blame Trump for everything.
The economy's bad, Trump's fault.
Uh the borders are open, Trump's fault.
And yet they were the ones bragging about rescinding his policies that worked.
90 plus executive orders in the first hundred days under President Biden to dismantle the most effective approach to securing our southern border in my lifetime, brought to us by Donald Trump.
There's no question that the American people aren't buying the lie.
They are not buying the lie.
They see with their own eyes.
They see with their own eyes the exact opposite of what is being said by the Biden administration.
Here's what we know.
Here's what we know.
We know that Joe Biden started selling the construction Material for a border wall.
Every American who understands that fact knows that Donald Trump built more than 270 miles of the border wall and Joe Biden is selling the construction material.
We know that President Trump electrified using the latest technology on our southern border to keep our border patrol agents safer.
Joe Biden refuses to allow the technology on the border to be used today.
We know that President Trump wanted more border patrol agents.
We know that Joe Biden won't lift a finger to help those agents.
We also know that the American people, when asked the question, were you better off under Donald Trump or Joe Biden, it's one of the reasons why Donald Trump's presidency is getting better by the month.
Because now we have the disaster of Joe Biden to compare to the land of milk and honey under Donald J. Trump.
Sean, when I'm at the gym, the black dudes in the gym and the white dudes in the gym have one thing in common besides weight.
They both say they were better off under Donald Trump.
Here's what is happening across this nation.
Working class blue-collar people are coming to the same conclusion.
Wages grew faster in their household under Trump than they do under Biden.
Here's what they all had in common.
Their neighborhoods were safer under President Trump than they are today under President Biden.
It's one of the reasons that the mayor of Dallas, Texas, a lifelong Democrat, Eric Johnson, just became a Republican.
He was being tough on crime.
And the Democrats hated him.
They wanted him to defund the police.
He wanted to refund the police.
He wanted to make sure that communities they were safe, Sean.
And he was going to be kicked out.
But he said he's standing for right and righteousness.
And he's now a Republican.
We are gaining ground in every single demographic in the country from white males to black males for one reason, one reason only.
Senator Tim Scott, great state of South Carolina.
We always love having you, my friend.
Thank you for being with us.
And I will tell you, um, I'm glad there are people out there that are willing to put themselves uh on the line, take all the the slings, the arrows, the attacks that are just vile and vicious and repulsive and hate-filled, but you know, I guess the the servant is not uh above the master, right?
And uh, you know, if they went after, you know, the only pure person that ever walked this earth, Jesus, they're gonna go after anybody, and I think what you have gone through is just unconscionable in this day and age, and and I admire the fact that you come out of all of that stronger and tougher than you've ever been.
Uh anyway, Senator, great to have you.
Thank you for being with us.
Thank you, Tom.
I'm sure I'm gonna see you at the wedding, so God bless you.
I appreciate I didn't get my invite yet, but you know, I'm not the biggest wedding attender, but I think I'd have to go to yours.
Uh 800-941 Sean if you want to be a part of the program.
Um, Linda, I don't think he knows about me in weddings.
I don't think he gets your last thing.
You've been to a number of weddings of people you really care about.
I mean, you do that for sure.
You make those exceptions.
Not that often.
Not really.
I've dodged it.
Listen, a handful of times, I think Senator Scott's uh wedding is probably gonna be one to remember, so I would definitely go to that one.
Oh, listen, I love the fact that when you got married, you said you're not even invited.
You can't even come.
I know you don't want to.
What kind of friend I am?
And then what did I say?
I said, well, here's here's in order number one.
No, I didn't.
And then I saw, well, no, then I saw uh I say, okay, if I don't go to the wedding, here's your gift.
Which is really, really a very, very generous gift in my humble opinion.
That's my compliment your own gift.
That's like me giving you like a gift.
No, but I'm saying this is like the best gift ever, by the way.
It's so good.
Well, what are married people usually want more than anything?
They do they really need stupid dish sleep?
No.
Okay.
What do they need a dish?
Do they need a crystal glass or do they prefer money?
I got lots of eight hundred nine four one Sean if you want to be a part of the program.
George Free State of Florida.
What's up, George?
How are you?
Hey, hey, Sean, how are you doing, my friend?
Hey, um a few months ago, my wife and I were on your show, and she was for um uh Governor DeSantis, which I'm a great fan of, and I was and I was uh for uh for Trump.
And we back back and forth, and and you asked her why, and and you know, and and uh me, I'm being more of a person about in energy independence and stuff, and and she got off the phone and she told me that you know I would vote for uh for Donald Trump, not because of all the things that Sean talked about.
Basically is because I read two of his press secretary's books, uh Kaylee McEnry and Sarah Huckabee Sanders books, and she got to know the personal side of Donald Trump.
And that's what like her vote and my vote count the same, Sean, and you have a lot of these um c housewives and stuff that don't really maybe care about energy independence and maybe they do about groceries now, but for the next seven months, um I know he wants to be a private person, but we we need to get the the the country to understand the personal side of Donald Trump because that's where you're gonna get some of those votes, like my wife said.
And so that I just wanted to share that.
No, I think your wife is very insightful.
I mean, I've known President Trump for decades, and uh I know exactly the personality that he is.
Um he's one of the smartest, most interesting, gregarious, fun, generous people that you're ever gonna meet in your life.
Uh he is fun to be around.
He is engaging as anybody as I've ever met.
And you know, a lot of times he he'd invite me here, invite me there.
I'm like, no, I don't want that.
I don't want that.
Save the country, save the country.
I always have a mantra.
And I think that there are too many people that get around him that want things from him.
Now we see another side of Trump, which which frankly we need in a president, and that is he's constantly being attacked, and so he is fighting back.
He's fighting for his very survival every day because they want to destroy him.
And and that is the sad part of it that he's had to fight back against you know, Russia, Russia, Russia, Stormy Stormy, impeachment one, impeachment two, you know, now we have the weaponization of justice and all these these legal, you know, legal issues he's had to deal with.
And and for whatever reason, they they cannot hurt him enough to break the relationship and the bond that he has built with the American people.
And that's why I say that he transcends all conventional political gravity.
And I've never seen this before in my life.
It's actually a pretty amazing thing to watch and witness.
Um look, I happen to be somebody I th I pr I think I probably I think I remember your call, and I I I like I like Governor DeSantis a lot.
I I actually think Governor DeSantis will be president one day.
He's forty-six years old.
He's got a lot of time ahead of him.
He's done a great job in this pre-state of Florida.
Uh I think he'd be a good president one day.
And I think Donald Trump would admit that.
Yes.
And I there well, quick a quick story, hopefully, that um she was telling me about a podcaster my wife listens to, and there's this girl in um in uh in Atlanta that said when she was dating uh a New York Yankee in the early 90s, she was in an abusive relationship with him, and Donald Trump was uh a Trump Tower, talked to her outside and says, Hey, I'm the only if you need any help getting out of this relationship, you let me know, and I can help.
And she said he had that she had this relationship of five years, and he was hit his brashfulness, his brashfulness woken her up, and she was the he was the only one that even family, whatever, was that directness woke her up to get and she fled and got out of this relationship, and I I don't want to get into too much detail with that.
But that's well, let me just say this, because you're getting on a good point, and I'm looking at the clock and I'm running out of time.
I ha I think he makes Republicans and the Republican Party stronger.
I think without him, they are much weaker.
I really believe that.
And I think Republicans have a lot to learn from him.
Okay.
But listen, I I'll Linda, please get the number.
I'll make good on my promise of dinner for this great, great couple, okay?
And you guys can go out to dinner on me.
We'll take care of that.
800-941 Sean, our number.
