This is an iHeart Podcast.
All right, it's Friday.
Happy Friday.
And thank you, Scott Shannon, and thanks to all of you for being with us three days to the Iowa caucuses.
It's game time.
Looking forward to being on the road.
We're going to be in Iowa doing the show on Monday, God willing.
They have two big snowstorms between now and then.
They got one tonight, one tomorrow.
Monday, it is forecast to be 20 degrees below zero.
I mean I love the people of Iowa.
I do.
And they're hard working, salt of the earth.
Farmers, and I mean, they're just the best.
They make America great.
The people of Iowa.
And I know many of them, you know, they're going to brave these low temperatures, and they're gonna they're gonna get out there and they're gonna caucus and it's gonna be interesting.
And uh, you know, we'll see what the turnout ends up being, but I bet a lot of people still turn out and uh they'll make it happen.
Uh Linda, you looking forward to 20 degree below zero weather on Monday.
I mean, I am.
I'm a big fan of the winter.
I'm a big fan of normal, and you know, Iowa gives me both.
I love the snow.
It's like seeing God and his majesty, and you know, it's it's cool, but I prefer it when it's like 30 degrees and snowing or or 28 degrees and slowing and snowing, not 20 below after a snow.
I mean, the that I hear you, but the good thing about it being that cold is you actually get snow and then it stays for a little while.
Like we get snow here in the Northeast, and then like it's gone.
Like it's so fast, you know.
Yeah, so fast.
Uh unfortunately uh for the rest of the country, it's not gonna be that for me it's gonna be that fast because you know I'm gonna get my ass home as quickly as I can to Florida.
Um, you know, just to give you um, you know, we've done so much on this state versus state debate, and later on, Ron DeSantis will join us about it, about uh, you know, some of the differences, and we'll talk about the campaign, we'll talk about Iowa, et cetera.
But you know, let me just tell you what's going on in in California.
I I mentioned it earlier in the week, but I didn't give it to get into the specifics and the details of this.
And I I want you to understand this major migration out of states like New York, New York, New Jersey, California, Illinois, it's so real.
And, you know, I I've been playing a couple of cuts.
I won't play them now.
One of Kathy Hochel saying, you know, you know, get on a bus, get the hell out of town, get the hell out of town, go down to Florida, blah, blah, blah.
I mean, how many governors are telling their citizens that they don't belong because they don't think like everybody in in the state or like the majority of the people in the state.
That you know, you've okay, fine.
I'm I I'm not gonna stay where I'm not wanted.
Um, or you know, Governor Cuomo saying, you know, we had an honest moment.
He said one percent of the people in New York pay almost 50% of the taxes.
Uh 5% of the people in New York pay over 60, what, 5% of the taxes, and 10% of people in New York, that's one out of 10 people pay 75% of the taxes in New York.
I mean, you know, and then he said tax the rich, tax the rich, tax the rich, and we did.
God forbid the rich leave.
Now they're leaving.
And that's creating a b a huge problem.
If you're pro-life and you're believe in assault weapons and you believe if you're anti-gay, you're not a New Yorker.
I mean, okay.
You know, you I don't know anybody that's a conservative that's quote anti-gay.
But um, but whatever.
He's making the point.
If you're pro-life, pro-second amendment, what they don't want you in New York for the then either.
I mean, what is wrong with these people?
I mean, you want to talk about intolerance.
You want to talk about, well, uh, democracy is on the uh ballot this year.
Yeah, this very same people trying to keep Donald Trump off the ballot everywhere.
It's unreal.
This is how bad though things might get in this country.
I just want you to pay attention to this.
It was in the Wall Street Journal, and Democrats in California introduced their wealth tax bill last winter.
We talked about it at the time.
It's now having hearings out in California.
It state in the state assembly.
Lawmakers now need to fill a projected $68 billion budget deficit.
Democratic legislators now are proposing a wealth tax as an alternative to any spending restraints.
Now, keep in mind, this is the same state that as of January 1 made it law.
It's a sanctuary state, but they made it law that California will provide free health care to all illegal immigrants in the state.
Free.
Except it's not free because the people that will fit uh foot the bill for this are the taxpayers in California.
And the bill will impose an annual excise tax.
Get this 1.5% on the worldwide net worth of every full or part year California resident that exceeds a billion dollars starting this tax year.
All right.
I'm not a lot of billionaires, but it's still their money.
And it's also money that's already been taxed.
It's also money that if this wealth tax goes into effect, they're basically licensing stealing money because this was not the law at the time the people accumulated the wealth.
And it doesn't give people the option of even visiting the state.
You know what's going to happen?
If people have vacation homes in California, they're going to sell them.
That's going to result in a further decrease in revenue for California.
But then it gets even more interesting.
As of January 1st of 2026, the state would then tax wealth that exceeds 50 million dollars at a rate of 1% a year with an additional 0.5% tax on assets valued at more than a billion.
Now, uh again, maybe it's not hitting a lot of people, but do you really want to empower your government to take the money and confiscate the money of people that have already paid their taxes, their fair share, and and just give it to government?
Why?
So they can blow it because they're so efficient in the way they spend their money?
You know, all these people that want to believe in big government, I keep asking, you know, so Social Security is headed towards insolvency.
How's that working?
Medicare is headed towards insolvency.
How's that working?
What happened to the lockbox for Social Security?
All the money you paid in your entire adult life.
Uh they squandered it and they used it and they mixed it with the general fund.
So now both both those are are now headed for insolvency.
And I don't know how they're going to fix it.
Now, they have part-time residents.
I don't know, how do you describe part-time?
What if you live there a month in the summer?
You know, there's a lot of Floridians, for example, that have homes in the Hamptons or whatever in New York, and they spend a month or two up there in the summertime.
Are you going to tax them for the month or two that they're there on top of the property taxes that they're already paying?
Let me tell you what's going to happen.
They're going to find, you know, a place in north of South Carolina to go to or a place in Tennessee to go to.
There'll be a new Hamptons, and all the people that ever invested in property in the Hamptons, their property's going to, you know, sink to next to nothing.
Because the one thing I can tell you about people that have money or have accumulated any any degree of wealth, I've I've not met a dumb one in my life.
I don't know people that were born with a silver spoon in their mouth.
Um, but the tax would also get this.
The tax would apply to non-residents of California who recently left the state.
Now, this wasn't even law by the time they left the state, and they're going to retroactively enforce a law that wasn't even on the books for people that said they had enough with it and left the state.
So you can check out of the state, but you'd still have to pay California's wealth tax if you do.
Now, I can't, I I can't in any way see that this is constitutional.
I'm not sure though, you know, how the federal government would even get to weigh in on this, um, although confiscation of one's property can be argued, I think, is a federal issue, but it would apply to nearly every asset somebody has accumulated in their life.
That would be share uh a share in any partnership they may have or private equity interest they may have, or artwork and financial assets that they held offshore, or you know, the California franchise tax board, in other words, their IRS, they'd they would put the value on assets that aren't publicly traded.
That means private businesses located outside the state could be examined by California's board of auditors and appraisers.
They don't even they don't even have their business in the state.
I mean, I think red states are gonna have to come up with legislation at some point and and prevent this and make that illegal, and then let them fight it out in a in a lawsuit.
Because the wealth tax, you know, they're saying it would raise billions of dollars.
It's basically confiscation of people's money.
And that's where the left wants to take this.
You know, what are the what do we want?
To each according to their need, from each according to their ability.
Yeah, that's right out of Karl Marx.
Great brilliant strategy.
I wrote a whole chapter in Live Free or Die, Socialism.
It's history of failure, because that's where they want to take the country.
This would all predictably fail.
It wouldn't work.
I mean, it's it's really unbelievable.
Uh, this issue down in Georgia is getting bigger and bigger and bigger by the day, and that is this special prosecutor that worked with D.A. uh.
Fanny Willis and her office, you know, getting more money uh than Fannie Willis is even being paid annually, and what did he do for the six hundred and fifty thousand uh uh dollars?
We now know Fannie Willis met with the January sixth committee.
Were they colluding?
What happened during those meetings?
I think we need to get answers from you know people like Liz Cheney and who was the other one, Eric Swalwell, whoever else, what's the other guy's name that was on the committee?
All these people, all the Democrats on the committee.
I want to know what was said, what did they say, what did they know, when did they know it?
Were they giving them information that they were allowed to give?
I also want to know about all these meetings.
Now, this guy, this friend, if you want to call him a friend of Fannie Willis, they they made trips to the Obama White House, and apparently he charged the taxpayers of Georgia the money to do it.
And he charged by the hour.
This guy got six hundred and fifty-four thousand dollars and then was taking extravagant vacations with Fannie Willis to the Caribbean and and other you know beautiful places, very expensive vacations.
Uh, you know, is that honest services fraud?
Is that a federal crime in which a vendor gives uh kickbacks to an employer?
The district attorney would have personally benefited from an undisclosed conflict of interest.
And uh Fannie Willis now is up to her eyeballs in a lot of trouble over this.
Uh by the way, Jill Biden is now complaining, and this is we haven't even gotten to the big news of the day, and that is that Hunter Biden said that he will speak to the House.
Let me let me tell you why this is happening.
It's only happening because of House Republicans like Jim Jordan, James Comer, and Jason Smith.
And it's only happening because Jim Jordan is looking his weaponization committee, whether or not the DOG's DOJ has been politicized and weaponized, and there's so much scrutiny on Merrick Garland's Department of Justice that they cannot,
in good conscience, after what they did to Steve Bannon and what they did to Peter Navarro, who were both held in contempt of Congress and both arrested and both charged, and one of them was sentenced, I'm not sure was it Navarro that was sentenced, Baden is appealing, I'm not sure.
And not do it to Hunter.
So the only reason that Hunter Biden now will go in and sit for the deposition, which is the normal order of doing things, then he can have his public hearing.
The only reason he's going to do it is because Merrick Garland's been put in a box, and because of the scrutiny and the pressure of House Republicans looking into this very real issue about how Joe Biden's Department of Justice is weaponized, it's politicized.
Our FBI's been weaponized and politicized also.
We have a dual system of justice, and now it's about it was about to be exposed, and the re only reason that Hunter showed up with a stupid stunt this week is because he in his mind thought he'd get away with it.
Just like we know David Weiss's intention was never to charge Hunter Biden with anything.
And then when those two whistleblowers came out and they described to the country that this was the most unusual Case that they had ever witnessed and that they knew that special treatment was being given to Hunter Biden.
Well, then that forced David Weiss's hands, and then he went to plan B. Plan B was, well, we'll give Hunter Biden a sweetheart deal.
Okay, plan B didn't work out.
We all know that too.
Why?
Because a judge in Delaware actually read the plea agreement and r then asked the the simple question of the defense.
Have you ever seen an agreement like this before?
Uh no, Your Honor.
Then why am wh why did you bring this to my courtroom?
And then all of a sudden, the issue of whether or not he had the right to charge, which he was conflicted statements between, you know, David Weiss himself.
He said to one congressional uh uh I got I guess one said to the Senate one thing, said to the House another thing, he took both sides of the issue of whether he had the authority.
All the IRS whistleblowers said was no, he said he did not have the authority to charge Hunter in other jurisdictions like DC and California.
Anyway, 800, 941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
i would not be surprised if hunter just pleads the fifth and then if hunter doesn't want the public hearing our friends at my pillow and their employees they want to thank all of you their customers for all your continued support And to say thank you, they are having a massive sale on not only overstock and clearance products, but new products as well.

By the way, somebody I think it was Linda of Sweet Baby James said me, uh, Joe Biden, I guess, was out campaigning and said, 'I'm Joe Biden, and uh I'm from the government in the uh I work in the U.S. Senate.
Oh my gosh.
How many times can he make the same mistakes?
How many times does he need his wife to escort him off a stage?
How many times does he go off script and it becomes a disaster?
I mean, could you imagine uh it really is unbelievable to me.
Uh anyway, we'll have full coverage of all this throughout the day and tonight tonight, but Biden spends most of his week, you know, resting, recovering.
You know, he had a quick trip to South Carolina and Texas on Monday, and that knocked him on his ass.
I guess that's what that's how he defines campaigning.
And by the way, he's back in action.
We haven't seen him since Monday.
And now he's focusing on Bidenomics again.
Great, because you know what?
Sixty percent of the country knows that Bidenomics sucks and made their life a lot worse.
Quick break right back.
You know, I'm trying to really understand this.
You know, Jill Biden, meaning the first lady, is now complaining that House Republicans are being cruel to zero experienced Hunter by showing photos of him from his laptop and everything else and screw daring to scrutinize Hunter Biden.
What she needs to be asking are questions of Hunter and her husband about how the family members, ten of them, made tens of millions of dollars from our biggest geopolitical foes, and they made it without any apparent services that we can find that were rendered.
I'd love to know what what services they rendered.
Except we do know that they did get services in Ukraine.
We know that Joe Biden bragged about it.
We didn't know at the time when he bragged about it, that he had a call with Hunter and Barisma executives only days before he was to deliver what had become official Obama administration policy, that they felt that there was enough progress made on the issue of corruption in Ukraine that they were giving them a billion in loan guarantees,
and it was his job As being in charge of Ukraine to deliver that money, and then he leveraged your taxpayer money to get a prosecutor fired five days after a phone call that he made with Barisma executives at the behest of his son Hunter.
The same Joe Biden that repeatedly said, Never, not once did I ever speak to my son, my brother, or anybody for that matter about their foreign business deals.
That's a lie.
We have pictures of Joe meeting at Cafe Milano with Hunter's foreign business partners, like the former First Lady of Moscow.
Remember the three and a half million dollar deal, and according to Devin Archer, over a hundred million dollars invested in some real estate venture that they went into.
You know, but Hunter, the guy that admitted on Good Morning America, he had no experience in energy, oil, gas, coal, no experience with Ukraine.
His dad leverages a billion dollars because the Barisma executives desperately want this prosecutor off their back.
They desperately said they needed DC help.
The call's made.
Joe leverages the money, gives them six hours to fire the prosecutor.
Son of a bee, they do it.
Well, how about Jill Biden asking about that?
And how is it that Hunter is writing messages, WhatsApp messages saying I'm sitting here with my father?
Why didn't you keep up your end of the bargain?
And uh between everybody he knows and my ability to hold the grudge, you're gonna regret it.
And five days later, five million dollars ends up in another Shell Corporation account.
That apparently doesn't impress Jill Jill Biden.
She's she's upset.
What they're doing to Hunter is cruel.
And Joe's just a loving dad that picked up the phone when his son called, and his son called often when he was with his foreign business partners.
We're supposed to believe that.
Or as Dan Goldman had suggested, Democratic Congressman, well, they were only talking about the weather.
Really?
Anyway, Joe was on uh Liberal Joe, Mika, uh I think I think they're married.
Anyway, Mika Brzezinski asking the first lady about a decision by Marjorie Taylor Green and it uh on the issue of Hunter's laptop, and here's Joe Biden's answer.
Who have you been coping personally uh with the onslaught of accusations against your husband and your family, including and especially Hunter?
It's the focus of a House Oversight Committee hearing, holding him in contempt, obsessing over him, showing pictures of him of him during vulnerable moments in his battle with addiction on the floor of the house.
This would crush any family.
Mika, I I think what they are doing to Hunter is cruel.
And I'm really proud of um how Hunter has rebuilt his life uh after addiction.
You know, I'm I love my son, and it's had it's hurt my grandchildren.
And that's what I'm so concerned about that it's affecting their lives as well.
Hurt your grandchildren.
You mean the one that you and Joe didn't recognize for four years in Arkansas?
By the way, have you ever met that other grandchild that you ignored?
That you only recognize after being publicly humiliated even by Maureen Dowd of the New York Times.
Uh yeah, poor Hunter looking so vulnerable in photos on his laptop from hell that was very real in spite of the 51 Intel agents uh lying to the American public before the 2020 election.
You know, saying that it looks so has all the earmarks of Russian disinformation.
Tony Wink and Blinken is the one that put that group together.
You know, Hunter looks so vulnerable in a photo where he's actually pulling a woman by uh her hair, you know, having his way with her and and and waving around a gun like there's no tomorrow.
Not to mention other photos where Hunter is rolling in the hay with two women at a time and smoking crack or falling asleep with a crackpipe in his mouth.
Oh, we're not supposed to cover that.
Anyone there over at Liberal Joe's show care about the way the Trump kids were treated?
Anyway, so Hunter did cave to the Republican demands for a closed door deposition, said he'd be willing to testify in a public hearing or deposition if Republicans in the House issue a new subpoena.
Now, Jonathan Turley had a really good take on this because remember, he refused to comply with a legally binding congressional subpoena.
Now, Donald Trump's children complied with their subpoenas.
I didn't hear Melania Trump out there complaining about horribly that they've been treated, how cruel they've been treated, and they were it it has been cruel the way they've treated the Trump family.
And And they went to testify in front of House Democrats, not the friendliest of people.
What Hunter deserves special treatment?
And then he then he shows up with cameras at his own contempt hearing for his documentary so he can make more money, I guess, from his sugar brother, this this guy out in California for apparently they're making a documentary.
You know, so he's entitled to facing a criminal charges for contempt.
Well, that's exactly what they charge Steve Bannon with and Peter Navarro with.
And Hunter's attorney is suggesting even possible terms for a fresh new subpoena.
So they've been playing games.
They thought that this was going to be a slam dunk, but they've got a problem.
Merrick Garland has a problem.
There's an investigation into how the DOJ's weaponized and politicized.
And the same with the FBI.
And now that they recently, you know, pursue these contempt of Congress charges on Navarro and Bannon, how do you possibly excuse not doing it to Hunter?
Anyway, he had no respect for the ongoing investigation.
This was, you know, this was an absolute, you know, clown show that he was taking a part of the other day.
You know, if you have if you'd done nothing wrong, you didn't have anything to hide answering questions, shouldn't be a problem.
But given the constant lies, obstruction from Joe and Hunter, you know, it's clear that a contempt of Congress charge is the least of their worries.
Jonathan Turley on Fox actually put it really well.
He said the response to Hunter by the House should be short and simple.
Toying with Congress may have may have had recreational and political appeal, but it also has legal costs.
And Hunter may be the president some, but that does not, you don't get a mulligan on contempt.
For most Americans, there are no legal mulligans.
If you try to defraud the federal government for years and you don't pay your taxes, you don't get a do over when you get caught.
If you lie in a gun application and lose your gun in a trash can near a high school, you're not going to get sympathy from any federal prosecutor.
And remember, the fix was in by David Weiss, who's now upgraded to special counsel, which is a joke because he's the guy that you know got in the way of the real serious tax charges during the uh Verisma years.
And by the way, if he names Paul Manafort and you failed to register under Farrell laws, well, the Washington field office of the FBI isn't going to look the other way.
Why should it be any different for Hunter?
Why does he deserve special treatment?
Why did David Weiss allow the statute of limitations to expire on all those serious tax violations?
Why did the DOJ attempt to sweep all of Hunter's crimes under the rug?
I mean, this is so deeply biased and corrupt.
The whole, the whole part of it is corrupt.
But that's, you know, that there's the Bidens for you.
I don't think they should issue a new subpoena.
They should abide by they should have been abiding by the first one.
By the way, multimillionaire Barbara Streisand took $200,000 in COVID relief cash to pay her gardener.
According to Forbes magazine, she has a net worth of over 400 million, took 200,000 in COVID relief cash in 20 and 2021 to pay her gardener.
All right.
Those loans were later, I guess, excused by the federal government.
Biden is now spending $700,000 in tax dollars on pregnancy prevention for transgender boys.
We had two trillion dollars in debt last year.
The Daily Caller reports the Biden administration dished out nearly $700,000 to support the creation of a national pregnancy pregnancy prevention for transgender boys according to federal grants.
Program will utilize a text messaging program designed for I'm never going to say this right.
Is it cisgender?
How do you say this?
Sexual I'm sorry, cis.
Cisgender sexual minority girls between ages 14 and 18 to address social and structural influences of sexual behavior in transgender boys according to the grant's description.
transgender boys or biological female.
I can't even go here.
By the way, Jim Jordan launched an investigation into Fanny Willis.
Did Fannie Willis give Grant money?
And did she benefit from the money being paid to this outside counsel?
Well, that should be investigated because that's your tax dollars.
Georgia Governor Kemp offered tepid support for an investigation into Fannie Willis.
I'm not sure why.
He told Newsweek in a statement that Green had every right to refer her complaint, meaning Marjorie Taylor Green, uh to Georgia lawmakers, calling the accusations deeply troubling.
But the governor stopped short of urging Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr to order an immediate criminal investigation into the matter.
I I just think the relationship with Trump and Kemp is so bad.
He doesn't he he doesn't care what happens to Trump.
That's my take on it.
This is my own humble opinion.
I don't really know Governor Kemp well.
I have nothing against him.
Um, so we've got this issue over Biden's decision to attack the Hootie rebels.
I I'm just not convinced yet that what they're telling us is true.
By the way, imagine if this happened a week earlier where we didn't know when we didn't know where our Secretary of Defense was.
Anyway, you're rant that or the Hooties now are vowing to retaliate.
Here's the problem.
The Hootie rebels don't exist, but for Iran.
So going after the Hootie rebels is like the low-hanging fruit, and it's the least risky.
You know, let us let's look like we're giving a response to these ships being attacked in the Red Sea.
The Hooti said Friday they will not hesitate to target sources of the threat and all hostile targets on land, sea, in defense of Yemen.
And this brutal aggression will not deter Yemen from its position of supporting and standing with the oppression oppression of the Palestinian people.
Iran also, chief sponsor of the Hooti rebels and other Iranian back groups that have launched assaults on U.S. positions.
I mean, you know, we've had over 200 attacks against our soldiers, and what do we do?
Joe Biden hit two empty warehouses.
Gee, that was a that's a real defense.
Uh Democrats are even blasting Biden for launching that attack, which I found somewhat humorous, saying it's illegal and unconstitutional.
Biden administration, by the way, has no idea what happened to a billion dollars in military aid that they sent to Ukraine.
They have no idea.
What did I tell you?
There's no accountability for this money.
They just keep throwing money at it, and they put handcuffs on the Ukrainians' ability to win the war.
They have been fighting for a tie the entire time.
And the American people are fed up.
That's why support for Ukraine has gone down.
You can blame Joe Biden.
The Biden defense, it should not be a proxy war with the U.S. and Vladimir Putin.
Biden Defense Department is not properly kept tabs on more than a billion dollars worth of shoulder-fired missiles, night vision goggles, one-way attack drones, other sensitive equipment.
Great.
That was in the Washington Post of all places.
And U.S. intelligence, not to scare you, but they're warning his balah could attack the U.S. homeland.
Anyway, 800-941 Shauna's our number if you want to be a part of the program.
Pretty unbelievable.
These are strange times we're living in.
We have a lot coming up in the program today.
By the way, how would you feel as a parent if your kid had to return to virtual learning because the school was being taken over by Joe Biden's illegal immigrants because they don't have any other place to put them?
Because that's what's happening in New York City.
We'll get to that coming up.
Later on, uh, Governor Ron DeSantis will join us, and we've got much more.
First, I want to say, ever since I was able to save money, I don't know, instinctively, I always believed in gold and silver as, you know, that should be a part of my portfolio.
I've not stopped thinking that way.
I just made a recent purchase from Gold Co.
Uh, they are the top-rated precious metal company.
Uh, and I'll tell you, they're a pleasure to deal with.
You have thousands of hardworking American patriotic Americans out there opting out of the system of the digital dollar, and and they feel you know more comfortable with something they can touch and hold and and feel, and that is always going to keep its value or somewhere near its value.
Gold Co is a seven time uh seven time Inc.
5,000 winner over two and a half billion dollars in gold and silver.
And uh that's why they're my gold company.
I just recently made my purchase.
Anyway, they're offering up to $10,000 in bonus silver, but only while supplies last.
Call Gold Code Now.
It's $85515 Gold.
Gold Co.
$5585 Gold.
I'm sorry, $55815 Gold G O L D. You tell them I sent you and see if you qualify for the up to $10,000 in bonus silver.
Anyway, call today, 855-815-GOLD from Gold Co.
Hannity uncovers the real truth.
About the politics of DC.
He's your watchdog on Big Brother.
Every day, Hennity is on right now.
All right, a lot of ground to cover.
We'll get to your calls today as well.
800-941 Sean, our number if you want to be a part of the program.
How would you feel if your kids had to go back to virtual learning to make way for the schools becoming homes for illegal immigrants of Joe Biden?
We'll get to that next.
Hey, Sean Hannity here from my friends at Lone Star Transfer.
If you felt like booking your timeshare was difficult in the past, you know it's recently been almost impossible.
Now most clients are shocked to learn that their timeshare is now available to the public, and that severely limits booking options.
