Stay right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
All right, news roundup and information overload hours Sean Hannity show 800-941-Sean, our number.
Excuse me, if you want to be a part of the program.
We're expecting any moment that former New Jersey governor that left office with a 14% approval rating, Chris Christie, who was never a serious candidate to begin with and only got into the race to bash Trump 24-7, is expected to drop out of the race, according to Mark Halprin.
He is not expected to announce any endorsement.
I think all bets would be on Nikki Haley down the line, but we'll wait and we'll see.
Another story that has just broken as well, there's a new super PAC called New Leaders 2024 announcing that they will begin raising money to fund what they're calling a unity ticket to take on both President Biden and his likely opponent, Donald Trump.
New Leaders 24 is being formed to support the election of a no labels unity ticket.
Should no one be named in the following weeks, announce the group in a statement.
Most Americans clearly believe that a Biden versus Trump rematch fails to offer them a choice that fulfills the promise of a healthy democracy.
People are demanding.
What people are talking about?
Where's the demand?
Anyway, another option.
A unity ticket is the innovation of our democracy needs in today's broken political dynamic.
Enriched institutional interests will continue to howl and protest about a unity ticket, but these protests will be brought by the same partisan adherents that have stood by or even worse, overseeing the selection of a deeply flawed of deeply flawed party nominees.
They're expected to raise up to $300 million if a viable bipartisan ticket to defeat both Biden and Trump is constructed.
If we offer our line to a unity presidential ticket, it will need a lot of support, blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, joining us now pollsters Matt Towery of Insider Advantage and John McLaughlin, McLaughlin and Associates.
Does it really matter?
Do you see any impact of Chris Christie on this race, Matt Towery?
I do in New Hampshire.
I think, Sean, we told your listeners last week that New Hampshire is sort of an anomaly.
It's going to allow unaffiliated, undeclared voters, and this started back in the summer when it's clear there was going to be no Democratic primary.
It allows them to go register basically as unaffiliated, undeclared, and then vote potentially in the Republican primary.
So that means that a Christie move, some of that vote might have gone for Christie, will go to Nikki Haley.
But I've never really considered New Hampshire this year to be an example of the typical Republican state.
When you get South Carolina, even Nevada that holds a caucus before that, it's more typical of the Republican primaries and caucuses you're going to see.
So I think this may have a little bit of effect.
It may impact Iowa slightly, but it will really impact New Hampshire.
But I think New Hampshire is a one and done.
What do you think about Christie bowing out of this thing?
I don't think it means a whole lot to many people, but I kind of agree with Matt that New Hampshire is a bit of an anomaly.
You even had former Obama, I guess, campaign manager David Plouf, as we used to call him, recommending that if Republicans want to send a message to Trump, they need to vote for Nikki Haley.
He's actually campaigning for Nikki Haley.
If she ever became the nominee, I'm sure that she would be demonized, you know, as per usual by the Democratic Party machine led by people like Plouf.
Right.
And, well, the whole thing, first with Chris Christie, I mean, he's the non-factor in Iowa.
He's going to get embarrassed.
He was running 6%.
Only 4% thought he could win if they showed up because, you know, it's cold in Iowa.
You've got to be motivated to go to a caucus.
And so I don't think he was going to get embarrassed in Iowa.
And the other part is, you saw two polls come out this week in New Hampshire where one got a lot of press.
That was the CNN one.
It was online among 6,000 friends of theirs where they got 900 Republican primary voters.
But very bizarre sample in the way they did it.
By the way, there were two polls that came out this week.
One had Trump up by seven.
Another had him up by 20.
Now, prior to that, there were two polls that had Nikki Haley within four points of Trump in New Hampshire.
So the ARG.
They're totally not credible.
They won't even list them on the real clear politics average.
They make it up.
And the thing about the Suffolk University Boston Globe poll was done legitimately where they took a registered voter sample of 1,000 statewide and they screened down for the primary voters and they asked the independents which primary they're going to vote in.
And that's the one Trump's ahead by 20 points.
The legitimate polls are very transparent.
Their questionnaires on the website.
They got 28% Republicans, 28% Democrats.
They got 44% Independents.
And, you know, they had, in the end, they had 55% Republican in their primary sample and 45% Independent, which is high.
But it shows that the Haley people are trying to get behavioral Democrats who are independents into the primary.
But Trump was still ahead by 20 points because among the Republicans in that poll, he's winning 62 to 19.
And sure, he's trailing among these independents 36, 26.
And, you know, Christie was a factor.
He had 12% of the vote.
But Christie's toxic in New Hampshire.
He has a, you know, in polling I've seen that we've done, he's got a 59% negative rating in New Hampshire.
They know this guy hugged Barack Obama and cost Nick Romney the election in 2020, I mean, 2012.
And, you know, when you ask people, you know, do they like Chris Christie or do you dislike him?
His unfavorable rating with Trump voters is 91%.
DeSantis voters, 77.
Ramaswamy voters, 90%.
Undecided, 80%.
Even 32% of the Haley voters don't like him.
She's going to try to avoid him.
71% of the conservatives don't like the guy.
I mean, he's toxic.
And he's not really.
Well, he never was really running a serious campaign.
I just, I saw this for what it was, and I never wanted to even bother interviewing him because it was a waste of time.
Yeah.
I hope Nikki Haley gets a hug from him the way he hugged Barack Obama because that'll be the signal to Republican primary voters in New Hampshire.
What's really going on?
This is the DC establishment.
They've indicted Trump four times.
They can't get him.
They've tried to knock him off the ballots.
They can't get him.
He's ahead in all the polls.
By the way, Nikki Haley's running in Iowa saying she's 17 points ahead.
She's falling over the last month like a rock.
The YouGov Economist poll that was done this month has her down five points to Biden.
She is losing to Biden, and only Trump beats Joe Biden.
So, you know, this is, they're desperate.
And so they told Christie, you got to take, you know, get out of this.
Well, I've got to imagine if Trump wins Iowa Monday, and I know the latest poll had him up by 30.
Let's assume he wins by half that, 15 points.
Then he pulls out New Hampshire, and then he's headed into Nevada and South Carolina.
I can't imagine him losing either one of those states.
At that point, especially South Carolina's got to be very critical for Nikki Haley, am I wrong?
But I would think the person that might have the organization in Iowa that people aren't paying attention to, Matt Terry, I'll go to you first on this, would be Governor DeSantis because he's been to all 99 counties.
He's got one of the most powerful and important evangelical endorsements out there.
And traditionally, that endorsement has meant a lot in primaries.
I mean, Rick Santorum won.
Ted Cruz won.
Mike Huckabee won Iowa.
Yeah, so I respect John's opinion immensely.
John and I have different roles, obviously.
I am part of that real clear politics average, and John works with the president.
So let me get my perspective as part of that average.
My view is that the Trump campaign should be downplaying, which they have been to their credit, the fact that they're going to win by 20, 25 points or whatever in Iowa.
The history in Iowa, because they're caucuses, is that the numbers come in smaller, that the gap is not as big.
And I do agree with you, Sean, that DeSantis has a phenomenal organization in the sense he can turn folks out.
It's going to be deadly cold.
And so you really got to be motivated to turn out.
So I expect DeSantis to perform a little better.
That said, if Trump wins by 10 even, that's a big win for him.
And in New Hampshire, if he wins by one vote, it's a big win because the thing is stacked against him.
And if he can survive those two and get to, and in between that is going to be Nevada's caucus, which I think he's leading 70, 30.
So you'll have a Trump win in Nevada.
New Hampshire's iffy.
You don't know what's going to happen with this endorsement.
But then you get to South Carolina, and then about a month later, you have Super Tuesday.
And so many of those states are overwhelmingly Trump.
So I just right now see this as sort of a blip on the radar screen.
I expected it.
I'm not shocked.
I think New Hampshire, I totally expect to be close.
But I'm not saying Trump will lose there.
And I think Iowa, he has a good chance of winning substantially.
But if it's a little bit closer, it's not going to be a death nail for Donald Trump either.
But it's supposed to be like 15 degrees below zero with the windshield.
You know, who are the most enthusiastic voters?
Wouldn't that have to go to Trump?
Yes, no doubt.
And based on what I see, and I'll have a new poll coming out in the next day or so.
And we're in the field right now.
But my view is right now, even with this change with Christie, and I agree with John, I don't think this is going to be a big bump for Haley.
One thing the media is trying to do is they're trying to say, oh, Haley's got this big momentum going.
And I'll give her credit.
She has moved up in the polls from the debate that she, she had very good debates.
But the fact is there's a ceiling to that.
There are only so many anti-Trump votes.
And until they totally consolidate, and then, of course, you have Ramaswamy and other candidates who may drop out, and they're pulling away from Trump.
And our polling shows they'll go back to Trump.
So I don't see this as a momentous occasion.
I see it as a moment for the Trump campaign to take notice of.
And I think that Trump is handling it well by lowering the expectations in Iowa.
All right.
So Iowa's going to come up first.
Let's get your predictions on Iowa.
John McLaughlin, we'll start with you.
By the way, as Matt said, the record is, I think Dole got one by 12% in 1988, and Bush had 11% in 2000.
So anything above those double digits is a record win.
So, you know, right now, yeah, the polls had him 30, but, you know, they don't have the factor that Haley spent $12 million in December in Iowa.
DeSantis spent 10.
Trump campaign spent 3, and our super PAC wasn't involved there.
And they're outspending us like crazy right now.
But, you know, the other day I was there and Trump, Over 3,000 people when his plane was delayed waited four hours for him to come, and he made sure he was there to tell them, you got to go out and caucus.
So, you know, if we win 15, 20 points, that's a huge win.
And then we bounce into New Hampshire.
And, yeah, it's going to be a two-way race between Trump and Haley.
But we'll see if these Democrats and behavioral Democrats, independents want to still vote for Haley, knowing that she would cut Social Security, Medicare, raise the age, said the raise the age for Social Security is way too low.
I mean, there's things about her that they have no clue that they're going to find out this week.
So we'll see.
But we should win both.
And then we go to Nevada and South Carolina where they know her best.
And the poll came out this week that we're at two to one over in South Carolina.
And the voters there certainly know her and know Donald Trump.
Pretty good win.
Do you see?
Well, we've got to take a break.
We'll come back more with John McLaughlin, Matt Towery on the other side of this.
We're expecting any moment Chris Christie will drop out of the Republican presidential primary.
Not that he ever was a real contender anyway.
Look, this year, every year, you've got to think about your personal security, your safety, your family security, your safety, your employees.
If you have a business, their security, their safety.
And that's why I'm so in love with the technology that we discussed earlier in the program today, which is Burner, which is a non-lethal option.
I've not changed my views on the Second Amendment at all.
As a matter of fact, I've had a license to carry a pistol my entire adult life, and I still do, but I love the technology that is burner, B-Y-R-N-A.com.
You got to check out these videos yourself because it is just a powerful, non-lethal option that is suitable in situations where you don't have to go for the lethal option.
And it has an amazing ability to stop a perpetrator right in their tracks because it fires projectiles with pepper spray and tear gas.
It incapacitates them.
And that gives you time to either get away or call the police or both.
You're going to love the technology.
Look at the videos that they have online.
It's unbelievable.
And if you're a responsible gun owner, you know, always you should be strategically thinking about your safety, your security, your family safety and security.
And this is the way to do it.
Go to their website, check out their videos, burner, B-Y-R-N-A.com slash Hannity.
And right now, you'll get a 10% discount on your purchase.
That's burner, B-Y-R-N-A.com slash Hannity.
Check it out today.
Any moment Christie gets out of the Republican primary race.
What impact?

All right, as we roll along, we're going to have all of Chris Christie's comments at the bottom of the half hour.
We'll run it in its entirety.
We continue final moments with our pollsters, Matt Towery and John McLaughlin.
All right, let's go through these very quickly.
Who wins Iowa by how many points?
Matt Towery.
People can find out on my podcast, Polling Plus, because I don't have my numbers in yet, but I can tell you right now, I think it'd be about at least 10 points for Trump, but I'm not going to go over that number.
But go to Polling Plus, download the podcast, and you hear what Newt Kingris had to say with us talking about this very subject.
What's going to happen in Iowa, John McLaughlin?
I think Matt's right.
By the way, Christie just made a prediction on a hot mic before he went out there.
He said, Haley spent $50, $68 million on TV, Joe, so far.
She's going to get smoked.
She's not up to this.
So I think Chris Christie's right.
I mean, we have that, and we're going to play that.
I can't believe the hot mic moment.
I'm going to play it.
I just don't want to start and stop it.
And I know I can run it in full at the bottom of the half hour, so I'll do it live then.
But I mean, that's hilarious.
You talk about.
By the way, that's Chris Christie.
All right, New Hampshire.
Who's going to win, Matt Towery, and by how many?
I can't predict yet.
It's going to be closer because that state's sort of stacked against Donald Trump.
But when you get to South Carolina, Carolina, and Nevada, things start going Trump's way.
Yeah, do you agree with that, John McLaughlin?
Yes, you know, if the Republicans come out and we get our usual tournament, that's what the Haley campaign strategy is right now.
But we'll still win, and then we go on to Nevada and South Carolina and put it in the way.
All right, John McLaughlin, Matt Towery, thank you both.
When we come back, we'll have in its entirety Chris Christie out, his hot mic moment, trashing Nikki Haley.
Oof, man, unbelievable.
Sounds like he's bitter that I get the impression he's probably pressured to get out of the primary.
And even John Sununu, the governor, Governor Sununu in New Hampshire, was saying he needs to get out.
And he's probably pissed off that they're demanding he get out.
Now he has to do it, but he has no faith in Nikki Haley, it sounds like.
All right, all of that when we get back in full, 800-941-Sean, our number, we'll get to your calls, your observations after this, straight ahead as we continue the Sean Hannity show from the free state of Florida as we continue.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
Let's go to Chris Christie making his announcement.
He's bailing out.
He didn't know that was caught on a hot mic at that point.
We're up in St. Anselm's in June to tell you why.
Why we're in this race.
And we're in this race to tell the truth.
From the beginning, we've been in this race to tell the truth.
Fact is that as we were watching this race come together from where Mary Pat and I were sitting at home in New Jersey, we were really concerned that nobody would tell the truth in this race about what's really at stake.
And no one would tell the truth about Donald Trump.
No one would tell the truth about his divisiveness, his stoking of anger for his own benefit, him putting himself before the people of this country, myself included, who gave him the honor of being president of the United States from 2017 to 2021.
Personal ambition is a necessary element for any political candidate.
You got to get out of bed in the morning and be able to really believe in your heart that you have something to offer to folks that's better and different.
And so I have no argument with people who are involved in politics being ambitious.
You need to have it.
But it can't be what governs your decision-making.
Ambition can't be what makes you decide how to do things as a public figure.
It could just be the fuel that gets you out of bed, that gets you in front of a room like this, that gets you on the phone raising money, that gets you working for people who you believe in and gets you working for yourself.
I made a political decision eight years ago when I dropped out of the race in 2016.
I looked at the polls and I decided that Donald Trump was going to be the nominee and that since I'd known him for 15 years, that I could make him a better candidate and if he won, maybe a better president.
I knew his flaws, but I also knew he was going to win the nomination.
So I decided that I would get behind him and support him.
I let the ambition get ahead and in control of the decision-making.
And after I figured that out, I promised myself and I promised my wife that I would never, ever do that again.
And I'm not going to.
So for all the people who have been in this race, who have put their own personal ambition ahead of what's right, they will ultimately have to answer the same questions that I had to answer after my decision in 2016.
Those questions don't ever leave.
In fact, they're really stubborn.
They stay.
And so I know how I'm answering those questions.
I've never believed that Donald Trump was a foregone conclusion as our nominee in this race.
And I knew that the case had to be made against him.
Now there are people in our party who are resigned to the fact that he was going to be the nominee, resigned with the fact that the case didn't even need to be made because it would be a waste of time.
They sat on the sidelines and all they did was voice their opposition in private, behind closed doors, quietly, so no one could hear.
And that's not leadership, everybody.
That's cowardice.
It's cowardice and it's hypocrisy.
As a party, we need to be willing to take the responsibility for the part we've played in getting here.
Our country is angry.
It's divided.
It's accomplishing little.
And it is leading our citizens to be exhausted.
And you just look at what's happening just in the last few days.
Good people who got into politics, I believe, for the right reasons.
People like Senator John Barroso, people like Congressman Tom Emmer, stand up and endorse Donald Trump.
They know better.
I know they know better.
People who continue to deny the results of the 2020 election.
People in leadership in the House who go on TV and say that the people who attacked the Capitol on January 6th are hostages.
I'll tell you who hostages are.
All right.
You know, this is the same old Christie.
You know, talk about cowardice.
By the way, if you want to react to this, we'll take some calls on this.
800-941-Sean is on number 800-941-Sean.
So, Christie's out, but the real Chris Christie talks about cowardice, unwilling to say what you really think and what you really feel.
Yeah, just before he came out, and by the way, this has now already been deleted from a feed that they had for this whole thing, but we were able to capture it, and it's Chris Christie not knowing he has a hot mic.
Listen to this conversation.
Haley spent $68 million so far on TV, $59 million by DeSantis.
We've spent $12 million.
Who's punching above their weight?
Who's getting their return on their investment?
She's going to get smoked.
She's not up to this.
Ouch.
Listen, the real Chris Christie.
People don't want to hear it, Wayne.
They don't want to hear it.
We know we're right, but they don't want to hear it.
And we couldn't have been any clearer.
We couldn't have been any more direct or worked any harder.
And let's forget she spent 68 million.
Well, when you get planned to China and places like that.
Yeah, that's what she got.
Yeah, I mean, look, she spent $68 million so far, just on TV.
Spent $68 million so far.
$59 million by DeSantis.
And we spent $12 million.
Who's punching above their weight and who's getting a return on their investment?
And she's going to get smoked.
And you and I both know it.
She's not up to this.
She hasn't even been.
She's still 20 points behind Trump and 9, right?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
And he's still going to carry on.
Yes.
I talked to DeSantis called me.
Petrified that I was.
He's probably getting out of half an island.
I mean, that's what he's really thinking.
Why didn't he say that?
Now he's what?
Now he's going to turn around and endorse one of the remaining candidates after saying that, what he really thinks, becoming the very coward that he's accusing everybody else of.
He thinks he's better than everybody.
This is what Christie's problem has always been.
He left office in New Jersey with an approval rating of 12, 14%.
It's just unbelievable.
Anyway, 800-941 Sean, our number.
If you want to be a part of the program, we've got time for some calls here.
Fred in Utah.
Fred, you're on the Sean Hannity show.
I'm sure you're heartbroken.
Chris Christie just bailed out.
Well, that doesn't bother me, but I have a very simple question for you.
And that is, why is it that two months, one week, and two days after Trump has his Ukraine call that the Democrats thought was an impeachable offense, that the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives deliver impeachment articles to the Senate?
And why is it for the last months, Jim Jordan, Comer, and other people have been coming on your program saying against the Biden crime family, we have wire transfer records, we got bank records, we got whistleblower testimony, we got emails, we got alias emails, we got testimony, business associates of Hunter that will testify that Biden was in the meetings with them on the speakerphone, whatever.
And why is it that nothing, nothing is coming forward from the Republicans on this after months and months and months?
Well, first of all, you're dealing with two very different cases because one had to do with one fact and one hearsay whistleblower.
This is way more complicated than that.
You've had, you know, look how hard it was for them to get suspicious activity reports.
Look how hard it's been to track down these shell corporations.
Look how hard it's been for them to figure out how much money came in and from where and who distributed the money and what accounts did it go to.
It's far more complicated.
And I don't think you're giving the Republicans enough credit because they've had to work really hard to dig all of this up.
Now, do we all wish it would go faster?
Yes.
But however, they're getting there.
And as more evidence continues to come out, the evidence is overwhelming and incontrovertible.
But I hear your impatience.
I understand it.
But I think the two very different things, apples and oranges, this is a very heavy lift.
Steve, Louisiana, next, Sean Hannity Show.
Hi.
Hey, Sean, how you doing?
Good, sir.
What's going on with you?
I just wanted to call and let you know anything Chris Christie says, Chris Christie isn't anything but a pimple on Donald Trump's butt.
We all know what's going on, and there's nothing that anyone's going to say to make anybody change their mind.
He couldn't gather, you know, he couldn't even get up to double digits in the polls.
He barely made the debate stage.
He had one agenda from the very beginning.
It was never to get the nomination.
It was to bash Trump.
Well, had that work out for you, Chris, because you're now out of the race.
And on your way out, you get caught with a hot mic moment trashing the other candidates.
I'm sure one of which you were going to end up endorsing, which isn't going to happen now.
Or if it does happen, then you're going to seem like an idiot.
Anyway, I appreciate the call.
Alan, California.
Alan, you watching this mess or what?
I am watching it, and it's appalling.
I can't even believe what's happening to our country.
But Chris Christie is just an idiot.
He says all that stuff in his speech, and then he turns around and shows his true colors.
Oh, I think it's like perfect justice because the real Chris Christie came out there.
And by the way, he's very bitter.
Did you catch the bitterness in him?
And I'll tell you why he's bitter.
He's bitter because he thinks he's the greatest, and everyone should have flocked to him, and they didn't.
We're just too dumb to see his greatness.
Absolutely.
Well, I wanted to also mention I think that Linda is amazing.
I love how much backbone she has.
We need more people like her in this world.
Why are you sucking up to Linda?
What's up here?
What's your agenda?
I don't think that's a suck up.
I mean, I think he's just stating fact.
And I like that he speaks the truth.
It's nice.
Alan, thank you.
Phil in Texas.
How are you, Phil?
You're next.
Philly, you're there.
Phil once.
What's going on, man?
How are you?
What's on your mind?
I'm doing great.
I just wanted to comment on the Christie thing and just say the guy, as far as I'm concerned, complete disruptor, was never a legitimate candidate, and was in to do one thing and speak against Trump and disrupt this process.
That's it.
That's it.
And by the way, and then he leaves trashing, you know, by the way, I think he's resentful as hell that Governor Sununu in New Hampshire today, earlier today, said he needed to get out of the race.
Well, and the reason being, hoping that the supporters of Christie would probably go to Nikki Haley.
Well, after he got caught on a hot mic, how does that fly?
How does that benefit Nikki Haley in any way?
You know, saying, oh, she spent $68 million and she's going to get smoked and she's not up to this.
We all know it because he thinks he's the only one that is up to this.
Anyway, Tom in Pennsylvania, Tom, we'll give you the last word today.
Go ahead.
Tom, you're on the air.
Go.
Hi, Sean.
I was a police officer in New Jersey.
I voted for Christie twice.
He promised the police everything.
He promised to refund our pension system.
And he lied.
He did nothing.
Superstorm Sandy.
I lost half of my shore house.
And he was on the He did give Obama a big hug, though.
That was a great moment.
Beautiful moment to help Barack Obama in the lead up to that election in 2012.
Although he denies it's a hug.
All right, I got to run.
I'm looking at the clock here.
Look, last year, because of you, Pre-Born and their network of clinics, they saved 58,000 babies' lives using the science of 4D ultrasound.
It just works.
Daisy and her husband, they decided they never wanted kids.
She finds out she's pregnant.
