All right, News Roundup and information upload hour.
Toll free, let me give you our number.
It's 800-941-SHAWN if you want to be a part of the program.
I noticed that the left is getting very angry at John Fetterman, the senator from Pennsylvania, because why?
Two reasons.
John Fetterman actually supports Israel and has spoken out against the radicalism in his own party, number one.
And then number two, simply observing the absolute truth, unless you're lying to yourself, like maybe Joe Biden and everybody in his cabinet, including his border czar Kamala Harris and his Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkis are doing.
But Fetterman says, yeah, there's a crisis at the border.
I don't know how anyone can pretend that there isn't.
Listen.
There's a crisis at the border.
And I don't know how anybody could pretend that there isn't.
Well, he's turning out to be maybe the smartest senator in the Democratic caucus as of now.
Anyway, Senator Roger Marshall, who will join us in a minute, this is him introducing a resolution for a vote of no confidence against the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
Listen.
The Secure Fence Act mandated that the Secretary of DHS, that would be you, achieve operational control of our borders.
Mr. Secretary, our borders are not under control.
Mr. Secretary, you are derelict in your duties.
I would be derelict to not do something about this.
And that's why I have a draft resolution here that I intend to introduce in the coming days that would require the Senate to take a vote of no confidence on Secretary Mayorkas.
As I've stated on the record before, I stand at the ready to receive articles of impeachment from the House and conduct an impeachment trial on this body.
But in the meantime, I think the Senate must show our colleagues in the House that we've had enough of the failures from the Department of Homeland Security and believe that the Secretary is not fit to faithfully carry out the duties of his office.
I would like to insert this into the record, Mr. Chairman.
Anyway, Senator Marshall joins us now.
He's leading a group of GOP senators on the Senate floor to demand that they move forward with this impeachment inquiry.
Sir, welcome back.
How are you?
Yeah, Sean, Happy New Year to you and your listeners.
I'm good.
I appreciate you having me on, and this is a great discussion.
The Secretary's been derelict in his duties for three years now, and it's time to do something about it.
We're happy that the House is moving off an impeachment trial.
Over here on the Senate side, you know, we cannot initiate an impeachment, but we can certainly do this vote of no confidence and get the Democrats on record and maybe put some wind beneath the wings of my friends over on the House side.
Well, I think they definitely need help.
Now, what did you think of this budget compromise deal in terms of border security?
Well, I think we have a long ways to go yet.
We haven't seen any of the details of this yet.
I think that it sounds like they made some good progress, but it's probably not far enough for someone like me who thinks that this is the number one issue that's facing America right now.
The number one thing that Kansans are concerned about right now is this border security issue.
We're losing a Kansas every day from poisoning.
People don't feel safe at home anymore.
The cartel has stations all over the state of Kansas now as well.
So I think it's a step in the right direction, and we look forward to making it better.
Well, I look forward to making it better.
To me, it's the number one, it's our number one national security priority.
I think it's a clear and present danger.
And I'm convinced, especially after analyzing where a lot of these people are coming from, why would we ever allow anybody into this country from the number one state sponsor of terror Iran or their proxy state, Syria, or the home of the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt, without heavy vetting, or Afghanistan, the home of al-Qaeda, or Russia, or China?
26,000 people they've encountered from China at our southern border, 12,000 from Russia.
Now, can you explain to me, do you think all the people that are coming from all of these countries making their way, the trek to our southern border, do you think they're coming here because they just want a better life for themselves and their families?
Or is it more likely and probably 100% likely that many of them are coming here with nefarious intentions and even probably some terror cells are going to be the net result of all this?
Right, right, Sean.
So to your point, tens of thousands of aliens of interest have crossed our border illegally.
We have 1.7 million gotaways.
We don't know who they were, where they're from, or what they're doing as well.
And to your point again, this is the number one most immediate national security threat that this nation is facing.
There's no way we can check and verify who 10 million people are that we've encountered on our southern border over these three years.
That's why we need to go after Mayorkis.
We need to fire him now, and we need to let Joe Biden know we're going to fire him in 300 days.
Why are we not hearing more from the Senate side on supporting the House and staying united on this issue of, okay, if you want to shut down the government, fine, but this is a national security threat.
I also believe on the issue of debt and spending, that's a national security threat also, but this is a more immediate national security threat.
There's been virtual silence from a lot of people in the Senate.
Why is that?
Well, Sean, I can't speak for other senators.
I do think that there's a little bit different mantra over here, that generally they are more quiet than people that are in the House.
But certainly, I think there's a group of us that have been very vocal.
I've been screaming about the border since before I got elected to the Senate.
Well, you've been doing it.
Marco Rubio's been doing it.
Rick Scott's been doing it.
Ted Cruz has been doing it.
Ram Paul's been doing it.
Senator Kennedy, but not everybody.
And I don't hear a lot from the Republican leadership in the Senate on it.
And I don't see a resolve in these budget negotiations to insist on border security.
Why?
I don't have a good answer for you, Sean.
I do hear Leader McConnell speaking louder and more often on the need for border security, that it is a priority.
I think he's made it very clear that there'll be no funding for Ukraine unless we get border security.
So I think it's there.
Is the volume as loud as you and I'd like to see it?
Probably not.
But I'm going to sure keep fighting for it.
I'll guarantee you that.
Well, I hope so.
And you rightly said that Secretary Mayorkis is derelict in his duties and that you'd be derelict not to do something about it.
And I wish you all the luck with this.
When are you going to have him back before your committee?
Well, I know immediately before the committee, I know we're going to introduce this resolution tomorrow and get the Democrats, put them on record that if they're voting against this resolution, that makes them say that Majorkis is indeed doing.
This is the no confidence vote, right?
Exactly.
So we'll have that on the Senate floor as far as the next time Majorkis is in front of our committee.
There's nothing on the schedule that I'm aware of.
All right, Senator Marshall, we always appreciate you being with us of the great state of Kansas.
Thank you, sir.
800-941-Sean is our number if you want to be a part of the program.
David in California, David, how are you?
By the way, I bet you're very, very happy with the new laws that went into effect.
You're going to have gender-neutral toy aisles mandated.
Your right to your Second Amendment has been restricted, and California taxpayers now get to pay for health care for all those illegal immigrants based on the very specific law that went into effect just a mere few days ago.
Right, correct.
Okay, so yeah, thanks for taking the call, Sean.
So, yeah, California has gone downhill in a big way, but that's a separate issue.
The real reason I called was to talk a little bit about the illegal immigration issue and the border.
And so my take, I'm an attorney also on California.
I've been watching this since Biden took office when he opened the border up.
And it's just amazing that most of the talking heads and the people on Fox that I generally watch, I can't stand to watch MSNBC and CNN because you know exactly where they're going to go with this.
Almost everybody says from the beginning, gee, if Biden and Kamala Harris or Kamala Harris had just gone to the border, surely they would see what's going on and surely they put an end to this.
And I thought right from day one, I said they know exactly what's going on.
This has been the plan the whole time.
It's to open the borders up, flood the U.S. with illegal immigrants, and then watch what happens before either the upcoming election or the next election cycle.
There's going to be an amnesty bill with voting rights.
And if it happens and they get, and they're already giving voting rights to some people, what, based on driver's licenses or the registrations, right?
And so what's going to happen.
Well, there are municipalities like New York City that already allow illegal immigrants to vote.
We're allowing it to happen.
Now, it would be against the law, but they'd have to change that law.
But do I see a push for mass amnesty?
It was estimated we had between 12 and 18 million people beforehand here illegally.
Now we've got another 8.5 million more.
There'll be another million and a half more or another 3 million more this year.
And Donald Trump is the only one that said, I am going to, there will be a mass exodus.
I will deport them.
Well, that might be a solution if Trump wins.
But for now, what's going to happen is I'm pretty sure this will be the way it's going to go.
It's either going to be mass amnesty and voting rights or voting rights through another route.
And the Democrats know this.
And the only reason they're doing this is for the votes.
They want to stay in power no matter what, and they don't care what they do to the U.S. as long as they maintain power.
That's really what this is about.
So watch the voting rights issue come up before the upcoming elections.
And then unfortunately, again, being a Republican, unfortunately, the last election was so close, the way I see this going, Biden or whoever is the nominee will win again.
And if they give more voting rights, the illegal immigrants, they'll sweep the elections.
And then the Republicans are going to have a really hard time explaining to their constituency how they let this happen.
One real quick final point.
The great one, you know the great one, right?
Mark Levin.
Thank me.
God bless us.
Well, a couple of weeks ago, Mark Levin had said the Republicans missed the vote on a couple issues.
One of them is that when he opened the border and it's a violation of the Constitution and not enforcing the laws, they can impeach him on that.
They haven't done it.
No, it's an impeachment.
We've talked at length about it.
It's an impeachable offense.
He's not upholding his oath to the Constitution.
Go ahead.
Okay.
Well, the Republicans have done nothing about it.
The difference between the Republicans and the Democrats, one of the big differences was when the Democrats impeached Trump twice, they knew they weren't going to get him in the end, but it didn't matter.
When that happened, I knew exactly what was going on with that also.
Impeach him, slander him, besmirch him, make his name look as bad as possible, and you will lose votes.
It's going to be people that don't watch Fox and listen to the blurbs on maybe MSNBC or CNN and say, gee, he was impeached twice.
I'm sure the government wouldn't have done that had he not done something wrong.
And, you know, the more mud you throw at the wall, the more it's going to stick.
And that's what the Democrats do.
Republicans are more like, well, gee, we don't know if it's really going to work legally.
It might not work.
We might not get the votes.
Just go ahead and do it.
But they don't.
The Republicans sit back and let the Democrats take control.
And in the end, I think they're really going to, I think we're all going to regret it as Republicans.
We'll probably lose the upcoming elections, and we'll lose a lot of elections going forward.
It's going to be mostly because they'll end up getting voting.
Well, here's what they, let me give you a little texture to this because what Democrats like to do to silence conservatives that are against illegal immigration, they support the great replacement theory.
And the theory basically is that Republicans, conservatives that believe in the rule of law, that want people to respect our laws, our borders, and our sovereignty, somehow are saying, well, they don't like people of color and that this is all about race.
And that's their basic argument.
It has nothing to do with that.
I don't care where people come from.
Exactly.
If they want to come to our country, I support legal immigration.
But I would insist on a background check to make sure you don't have radical associations, a health check, especially after COVID.
And number three, you can't come and be a burden financially on the American taxpayer because we can't afford it.
Now, then, once all that takes place and you are allowed into the country legally, from my perspective, is welcome to our country.
We're glad you're here.
Open arms.
And then if you want to eventually get a green card, become a citizen, you know, we have laws and a process by which you go through all of that too.
Anyway, David, we appreciate your call, buddy.
God bless you.
All right, quick break.

Digging D D D to expose how the government wastes your money each and every day.
This is the Sean Hannity Show.
All right, you probably spent too much over the holiday season.
If you're looking for ways to save this year and not sacrifice service, make the fast, simple, easy switch to Pure Talk, a veteran-owned cell phone company.
Now, just like Verizon, AT ⁇ T, and T-Mobile, guess what?
PureTalk, they use the same 5G network.
They use the exact same cell towers.
And the average family for the exact same service saves close to $1,000 a year.
That's real money in your pocket for the exact same service.
And it's time to switch to a wireless company that shares your values because PureTalk is a veteran-owned company and they serve veterans.
By the way, one of the reasons I made the switch, it's simple to do.
Just dial pound 250 on your cell, say the keyword save now.
And if you do it now, you'll save an additional 50% off your first month.
That's pound 250, keyword save now from our friends at Pure Talk, the same exact service, and you're saving a fortune with a company you can be proud of, Pure Talk.
Let's get back to our busy phones.
800-941-Sean is our number.
Lisa, Texas, on the Sean Hannity Show.
Happy New Year, Lisa.
How are you?
Good.
Happy New Year, Sean.
And I just want to congratulate you on your move to Florida from one former Long Islander to another.
I grew up in Suffolk County.
So I wanted to ask you about the integrity of this general election.
How do you assess the integrity?
I mean, how do we know there's not going to be a repeat of 2020?
Look, if you want the most integrity in elections, I've told people what I believe would ensure maximum integrity and maximum confidence and results, and that would be that you have paper ballots.
You have Election Day be a national holiday.
You only allow mail-in ballots.
You don't have months and months of voting or weeks and weeks of voting because issues can happen even the day before an election that would impact an election and have a profound impact.
And I would have it, you know, with exceptions for the elderly and the infirmed and the military.
But short of that, I'd have voter IDs, signature verification, chain of custody controls for any mail-in ballots, updated voter rolls, and I would have partisan observers in every precinct in the country.
Everybody gets to watch the voting all day.
The polls close.
You get to watch the vote counting at night up close, not a thousand feet away like they did in 2020.
But that's not the system we have.
And that's why I'm telling Republicans and conservatives, you better embrace early voting and voting by mail and legal ballot harvesting.
You better match the Democratic Party's efforts or you're going to start out behind by two, three, four, 500,000 votes.
That's a big margin to make up in one day.
And I would urge people that they've got to rethink how they vote.
Then after Republicans win elections, if they want the system that I think has the most integrity, that will give the most confidence and results, we'll return to paper ballots like Canada did and like I believe France did as well.
Appreciate the call.
Thank you, Lisa.
You have a great new year.
Continuing of saving America as we return to the Sean Hannity Show.
All right, let's, you know, for all the talk about democracy in jeopardy, democracy imperiled, Nazi Germany analogies, left, right, and sideways.
And again, it's going to be Donald Trump is going to destroy democracy.
Liz Cheney, you may never vote again if you don't vote for anybody other than Trump in New Hampshire.
I mean, they're out of their minds.
But for people so concerned about democracy being in peril, I can't think of anything more undemocratic than basically just declaring, not through any evidence, not through a legal process, not even being charged with insurrection, but declaring that Donald Trump should not be on the ballot.
And here you got the congenital liar Adam Schiff saying it would be a good thing for the country if the Supreme Court upholds Colorado's decision.
You got the D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser saying she supports every state taking aggressive action to get Trump off the ballot.
I thought, doesn't this put democracy in peril?
Listen to these two geniuses.
But let's just say by some miracle, five of these justices decided to rule that he should not be on the ballot.
What do you think the political consequences of that would be?
Well, I think it would be a good thing for the country.
I think that the debate in the election could get back to a difference of policy rather than this kind of cult of personality around the former president.
You know, I think we have to be concerned with the former president trying to egg on violence in the event of a court ruling like that.
Obviously, on January 6th, he was willing to do it.
He'd be willing to do it again.
But I think we're a better, stronger country than that.
And I think the country will accept the decision if the decision is to remove him from the ballot.
I think the country will accept the decision, whatever the court ends up doing.
Do you think he should be barred from any ballots given his actions on January 6th?
Well, I support every state taking very aggressive action to keep him off the ballot.
He is undergoing court action across America.
And I don't know that we have ever had a situation.
Actually, I do know that we've never had a situation where a sitting president could be a convicted felon.
And so the uncertainty that people are going to the ballot with is also unprecedented.
Is he going to be on the ballot or not?
Is he going to be disqualified?
Are people going to vote for someone who's not eligible?
And so all of those questions need to be answered before the American people go out to vote.
The very thing that they now are running on, the very thing that they're more guilty than anybody of.
Anyway, speaking of which, Ron is in Colorado.
Ron, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Rocky Mountain High, sir.
Hi.
All right.
Are you familiar with the last sentence of the 14th Amendment?
Sir, yes, I am.
Why?
Okay, it says the Congress shall have power by appropriate legislation to enforce the provisions of this article, period.
Doesn't that necessarily imply that places, institutions like the Colorado Supreme Court and Maine Secretary of State don't have that power?
It is completely, utterly unconstitutional.
I cannot imagine a bigger slam-dunk case going before the Supreme Court than this one.
However, I say that with a little hesitancy only because my experience, now doing this 34 years, tells me and has shown me that, in fact, sometimes you think it's going to go one way, meaning a court decision, and it doesn't quite go that way.
Right.
But with that said, remember, Donald Trump was never charged with insurrection.
This is, look, if Democrats had any confidence at all in their ability to hold the White House and the House and the Senate, why would they be fighting on this front?
And where are the liberal voices?
By the way, even Gavin Newsom said this is a bad idea and that voters should make that decision and not elected officials or not judges or an elected official in Maine or a court, unelected, unaccountable judges, you know, making these decisions.
In my view, this should be a 9-0 Supreme Court decision.
It'll be very interesting to see how, number one, how quickly they move and how many liberal justices say no to this.
That's going to be interesting.
Stand is why it is that nobody ever, even Seculo, doesn't mention what I just mentioned.
I've only heard it on the air one time.
That was by John Salvin in an interview a week and a half ago or whatever it was.
I've heard the point.
Go ahead, what?
It's an argument.
Nobody seems to want to mention it.
I think it's a good point.
I think it's a valid point.
I haven't read all the briefs on this yet.
I do believe that the ACLJ, that's Jay Secular's group, and Jay fills in on this program, and he's also my own personal attorney.
But I'm confident that the ACLJ probably made that argument.
I mean, they do a great job.
Jay's been involved in winning.
He's been involved in over 20 some-odd Supreme Court cases.
He knows his way around the Supreme Court.
He knows how to argue before the Supreme Court, too.
Absolutely.
All right, my friend.
God bless you.
Appreciate the call.
Let's say hi to Paula's in New York, New York.
How are you doing in New York?
How's my old friends in New York?
Doing great, Sean.
I'm actually from Glen Cove, so not too far from where you used to live.
Congratulations on your move to Florida.
Thank you.
Well there, and I hope you're enjoying the weather.
I am.
It's much nicer.
And, you know, I'll be up there occasionally in the summertime to just visit friends, but this is my new home.
This is where I am living full-time.
This is it.
We're going to miss you.
I mean, I've been watching you since the days of Hannity and Combs.
You put on a great program.
What I wanted to talk to you about today is something you've spoken about a lot on your show, but the two-tiers of justice system.
I mean, Biden left office in 2017.
He had these documents for about four years as a private citizen.
But as soon as Trump leaves office, they want them back all of a sudden.
Well, I mean, he had some, remember, four separate locations where Biden had top secret and classified documents, four locations.
And there was no rate on any of them.
As a matter of fact, a heads up was given to the Biden people so they could discover them themselves.
And that's the perfect example of the two-tiered system of justice right there.
And this has never happened before.
And I think it's all part of an effort to just get Trump.
And I don't care if it's the 14th Amendment, Article 3.
I don't care if it's what we're talking about here.
Hillary Clinton, 33,000 deleted emails on our server.
Really?
And top secret, classified information on the server.
James Comey, July 2016, no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute.
Well, apparently that's not true.
Yeah.
Well, that would assume that the prosecutors are reasonable.
I think it's get Trump any way they can.
But here's the thing.
Tell me if you agree with me on this.
How is it possible that the media mob and Democrats and this overreach by our Justice Department, am I wrong in perceiving that they're actually taking a guy like Donald Trump and turning him into a sympathetic figure?
People see the persecution behind this.
People see the politics behind this.
People see justice being weaponized and politicized like this.
I'm convinced it's not hurting Trump.
100%.
I mean, Biden had documents going back to when he was a senator vice president.
Nobody's even publicly asked why he's had them.
No, good point.
You know, look, I take any legal letter of any kind very seriously.
Why?
Because I know as a conservative, I'd be treated differently.
And that's sad to say.
Anyway, my friend, God bless you.
And we still love a lot of people in New York.
I just can't believe, Linda, I just think, you know what?
I'm hearing more and more.
Yeah, I'm going to be down there soon.
I'm going to make the move also.
I'm getting out of here, too.
I've had it also.
Are you shocked at the response that this is the ripple effect of all this?
I am, but you know, I got to be honest, and nothing against the fine state of Florida because it is a wonderful place to live.
I'm ready to stay right here in the Northeast and take back these states.
I want to fight for where I'm from and for what's mine.
I'm sick of this.
I'm not stupid liberals.
You know, I am.
You're not in New York, though.
You're in a state that actually first of all, Pennsylvania is a hot mess.
We're under a huge liberal POS shapiro.
By the way, you said first of all, without saying fist of all, that's the first time you said it the right way.
People say my accent is a lot.
So I've been working on it.
Linda's got big events coming up in her life.
We're really excited.
Yeah, well, you know, but let me finish my thought about the things that make me angry before I get to the things that make me happy.
There's a much longer list of the things that make me angry.
And one of them is these idiots protesting Israel today for Palestine, blocking down the Holland Tunnel, the Lincoln Tunnel, bridges.
People can't get to their kids.
They can't get to work because these lunatics want to sit on their ass in the freezing cold because they're getting paid by God knows who to do it.
You know, that's when you see these people getting out of their cars and they're pushing people to get out of the way because the cops can't do anything because the legislators allow it.
And this is where I think we need to come in and we need to fight so that New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, these are all penal states.
We can get them back.
Your state of Pennsylvania is worth fighting for.
I am telling you, I don't see in the near future and the near future, meaning the next couple of decades, I don't see states like New York or California or Illinois ever going red.
And I'll give you a quick example.
Lee Zeldon, 10, 12 years ago, I think under the conditions he ran, would have been elected governor of New York.
But so many people have left that would have otherwise voted for him that it becomes mathematically impossible.
When you have a city like New York with, what, nearly 10 million people and Democrats outnumber Republicans 8, 9 to 1, you're just starting out in a hole that becomes insurmountable, even though the rest of New York, most people may not know this, has gone pretty red.
Meaning Long Island, both Nassau and Suffolk County and Westchester and upstate New York are going pretty solidly red.
But they've mounted the sheer concentration of people.
Yeah.
I mean, I think you make a lot of really good points, which I don't think many people know, which is that Long Island, in my opinion, it should be its own state.
I mean, it's massive.
It's a massive, massive place to live, you know, and I lived there for a while.
And I mean, the first, I think the first six months I lived there, I got lost every day.
I mean, it was just like, if I wasn't on Sunrise Highway or the LIE, I was like, forget it.
I don't know where I am.
But it is human.
By the way, traveling in New York is so simple because you have to go to the- Well, yeah, you're from New York your whole life.
It's different.
Well, you have three major thoroughfares that go from east to west, west to east, okay?
The Southern State Parkway, the Northern State Parkway, that also becomes the Grand Central Parkway, and you have the LIE.
Then you have, for example, the Cross Island Parkway.
Well, that would go north to south, or the Wantaw Parkway, or the Sagdacos Parkway, or 135.
They all go in the Meadowbrook Parkway is another one.
They all go north to south.
It is the simplest place to get around.
If you know just that, you can get anywhere.
No, for sure.
I mean, listen, it's definitely my point being is that it's massive.
And I think, you know, hot mess Hokul, you know, she got that seat because, you know, Cuomo was screwing around.
And so they took him out.
She got the seat.
She doesn't know yesterday from today to tomorrow.
I mean, to me, honestly, her and Kamala are fighting for last.
It's a disaster.
It's an embarrassment.
I really think that if we got our heads together, we would see that the right path, maybe Zelda was too right for many, but I think a lot of people looking at what's happening in their states, I mean, we got croup, we got whooping cough, we got polio, we got all this crap coming back in because you're bringing people into our state that are infecting our children.
One thing that people can agree on is protecting their children.
And if you're telling me that my kids are going to get this stuff because you allowed it in, then people need to start suing the government.
You can be effective in your state.
Pennsylvania is definitely in play.
It's a state Republicans can win, but it's a very difficult state for them to win.
However, I think Dave McCormick has a shot of being a senator from Pennsylvania.
And I think Trump, if it's Trump as at the head of the ticket, I think he can win Pennsylvania.
However, you know, it's not New York.
New York, they have chased away, taxed the rich, taxed the rich, taxed the rich, and the rich start to leave.
They've left.
There are too many Republicans that have left.
Too many conservatives that have left.
I don't know, Sean.
They're trying to take William Penn down.
I mean, the founder of Pennsylvania and put in Native American heritage statues.
I mean, they're just trying to erase everything we are.
But you have a fighting chance in Pennsylvania.
I don't think that's a fighting chance.
Okay, then.
I just don't think that chance is reality in states like California, Illinois, and New York.
That's going to wrap things up for today.
All right, a special edition of Hannity tonight, one week from Iowa, a preview of what 2024 of the election is going to look like.
