Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries, this is Fiasco Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?

Coming up next, our final news roundup and information overload hour.
Alright, news roundup and information overload hour.
Thank you for being with us.
800-941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, uh Joe Biden's leaving on vacation.
What's his New Year's resolution?
To come back next year.
Uh to where did he go?
St. Croix.
Here's what he says there.
And this is I love this.
This is Joe Biden just proclaiming, just straight on out proclaiming, maybe even actually believing it, that America is coming back.
We all know it's not true.
So we brought a lot of jobs back to the United States.
People are in a position to be able to make a living now, and uh they've created a lot of jobs with over 14 million.
And uh I guess when I'm I just feel good that the American people got up.
They've been through a rough time with pandemic, but now we're coming back.
They're back.
Anyway, joining us now the one and only Steve Moore, economist, author of Trumponomics inside the American First Plan to revive our economy.
Uh we should note the national debt is now top 34 trillion for the first time in history.
That took place as of Friday afternoon.
This, of course, after a two plus trillion dollar addition last fiscal year uh to our debt by Joe Biden.
Uh and Karine Jean-Pierre is begging Americans to just give Biden Omics more time, blaming a lack of support on the pandemic and dismissing support for Biden among uh African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and young people, uh, as if it's not really happening when the polls are overwhelming and incontrovertible, especially the uh survey, you what was it?
I guess the Suffolk University uh USA Today poll that came out that we talked about a lot about yesterday.
Um I know, and I was reading a lot of year-end articles on the economy, and wow, the stock market went up a whopping 24%, which by the way, if you have any money in the stock market, I'm happy for you.
I have reduced my vulnerability to the stock market, my exposure to the stock market to pretty much as little as I possibly can over the years, because I just don't feel comfortable with it.
I haven't for a long time.
I'm very happy for those of you that did well, but then I'm reading predictions for this year, and some economists are saying this could be the biggest uh bubble bursting year on record, and and saying that 24 could be the worst year on record economically, but we already know for people that are living paycheck to paycheck, which is over 60% of the American people.
Does it really matter to them if the stock market went up 24% last year?
For most of those people, I don't think that's impacting their daily lives.
But the people That are charging fair necessities on their credit card, I don't think that's impacting their lives too much.
Or the people that are cashing in their pensions early with huge penalties, I don't think that's impacting them either.
They're probably upset that maybe that's money that they could be saving for their future that they're not going to be able to save for their future.
I don't have a crystal ball.
I'm not an economist.
I just know I like to reduce my exposure to the stock market.
I don't uh frankly like the fluctuations that take place.
I don't understand it to the extent that I feel comfortable use investing in it, and everybody that I know uh that is confident in it also experiences down years too.
Anyway, Steve Moore is with us, sir.
How are you?
Hi, Sean, happy new year.
By the way, I didn't add the U.S. factories now are cutting jobs at the fastest pace since 2009.
That home building has come to a screeching halt because of high interest rates, sale of pre-existing homes are almost non-existent.
Those little factors uh I forgot to mention also.
Uh where do you see the economy and how do you reconcile it with those saying, see, we had a great year with the stock market last year.
It's never been my big barometer.
Well, let's start with the stock market, because uh, you know, everything that you said is true, but I want to give it a more perspective.
So uh yes, the stock market was up 24% this year, but you know what happened last year, Sean?
It was down 20%.
You know, so basically all the stock market did in 2024 was regain all the losses that happened.
I mean, the you know, in 2023, regain the losses in 2022.
If you look at the the stock market adjusted for inflation, because you know, any any investor is interested in their after inflation rate return, the stock market's been basically flat for uh for Biden's first three years in office.
That's a pretty pitiful return.
And you know, you have over 120 million people with 401k plans, they've done nothing.
They've done nothing.
Now, the but the bigger point is what's happening to wages and salaries and incomes of middle class, working class families across America.
And this is where Biden and his uh minions sound completely out of touch with what's really going on in Main Street.
So if you look, here's a statistic that I I gave to President Trump a few weeks ago, and I'll repeat it on your show.
During Donald Trump's presidency, in the four-year issuance in office, median household income, people in the exact middle, Sean, they saw a six thousand dollar increase in income.
That's a lot.
That was one of the best records of any president in history to see that kind of gain.
And I'm not talking about the rich, Sean.
I'm talking about people in exact middle.
Now, under Trump, you know what that number is?
I mean, under Biden?
I'm I'm waiting.
What is it?
Negative 2,000.
Negative 2,000.
So that's an $8,000 per family swing.
Up six thousand dollars under Trump, down two thousand dollars under Biden.
I mean, if this election comes down to how are your how are you doing economically, there's no and it's between Biden and Trump.
I mean, I don't think it's even any contest.
Oh, I don't think it's a contest either.
You know, I I I know people want to talk about you know, stock markets, 401ks.
I I I let me give you an example.
Let me backtrack.
One of the reasons I didn't want like first of all, I've never supported a boycott, a canceling, a firing, although certainly Claudine Gay uh deserved to get fired.
There's no doubt about it, but I'd not I'm not out here leading the charge to get people canceled, and it shouldn't have been related at all to plagiarism.
It should have been related to her testimony and her answer to Elise Stefanic.
But putting all of that aside, you know, I I just when I look at this country, and the reason I didn't support the Bud Light backlash is because I'm thinking of all the people that work in the factories, all the people that drive their trucks, all the all the route owners that paid a fortune for those routes, and the impact it's gonna have on all of their lives, and it it did result in many of those people getting fired.
Now, I know maybe some of the people responsible for going with the trans he, et cetera, got fired too, but you know what, it wasn't worth it to me because I didn't want rank and file people to get hurt, and I think it's obvious now with their association with Dana White and UFC that probably they realize who their audience is, and I wouldn't expect the same mistake that in down the line.
And I also looked at their past.
They they support veterans groups, they do a lot of really good conservative things.
And but that's the reason why I didn't want these guys losing their job.
Those are the people that I think represent what an economy how an economy's doing.
Am I wrong?
Yeah, and those are the Trump voters.
You know, those are the people.
It's so interesting.
And I've been in this game for 40 years now.
I first came into Washington in 1984.
And incidentally, just as an aside, when I came here in 1984, do you know what the U.S. national debt was?
What?
With less than one trillion dollars.
Now we're at 34 trillion.
I mean, what has happened, the incompetence and the financial mil malfeasance of our politician in Washington, and never seen anything like it before.
Um but uh by the way, there's all there's only one way to solve that problem that I can think of.
And that is to become the most energy dominant country on the face of this earth and and pay down the debt with the profits we make.
So that is a fantastic point.
We just came out with a study at the committee to unleash prosperity that estimates are you ready for this?
The value of our oil, gas, coal, and mineral resources under federal lands is worth 50 to 60 trillion dollars.
It's like we're sitting underneath the most massive treasure chest in world history, and this dunce in the White House doesn't want to get at it.
He wants to leave it in the ground.
Uh we could pay off our national.
You're exactly right, Sean.
We could pay off our national debt by going after these think of how many how many millions of jobs we could create.
High paying career jobs, not just jobs, really good jobs.
Good jobs.
These people make over 100,000 in the in the oil patch.
Uh we could get the minerals we need for so we don't have to be dependent on Russia and and these African countries that are completely unreliable.
We wouldn't have to ever uh have one drop of Iranian oil or Venezuelan oil.
We wouldn't have to get one drop of uh you know Russian oil.
And you know who agrees with us on this, Sean?
Donald Trump does.
It's one of the key planks of his economic program.
Use our natural resources.
Just like we're the world uh breadbasket with our agriculture, we could be the number one producer of energy in the world, and we were under Trump.
Let me ask you this.
How do you see this election year going?
I don't think anybody can make an accurate prediction right now.
Um I'm not even sure Joe Biden's gonna be on the ticket.
Um I think Trump at least the polls showed that he's dominating in the primaries, but we're gonna start finding out in two short weeks, so we won't have to guess anymore.
And you know, but if it's if if it's Trump versus Biden, how do you see that playing out?
I like Trump's chances if it's Trump versus Biden.
I don't think the Democrats will go with Biden, uh, but I may be wrong.
I think they're gonna try to switch horses sometime late summer and have the party, you know, party apparatus choose the nominee, so the voters have no choice.
So who do the who do the party apparatus choose?
Is it gonna be are they gonna pass over Kamala Harris?
Uh is it gonna be Gavin Newsom?
Does Michelle Obama jump in this?
Could be any of those three.
I uh yeah, I think that the most Democrats understand that there's only one person as a as a Republican that I'd rather run against than Joe Biden, and that's Camel Harris.
But uh, you know, they I think the other name that I'll throw out there would be uh the governor's Gretchen Whitmer, the governor of Michigan, then Michigan is a key battleground state.
But look, if if if it comes down to are you better off than you were four years ago, just like Ray, you know, Reagan used that line, remember against Jimmy Carter, I think Trump wins.
Now, that a lot depends on what happens in this year.
That we've got, you know, 10 months, 10, 11 months until the election, so a lot can change.
But Trump has a great look.
I always say to people, you know, and you talk to far more people than I do, but I always say, look, I don't care if you like Donald Trump or not.
Okay, you know, maybe you don't like his behavior, maybe you don't, but you've got to admit his policies were great for this country.
And even people who don't like Trump say, okay, yeah, I like his policies.
So if it comes down to um uh an issue about policies rather than personality, I think there's no question he wins.
Okay, but you know it's not gonna be about that.
The media, they'll do what they did in 2020.
They're gonna protect Biden.
He's gonna try and hide.
Uh, He probably would never debate Trump if it's him versus Trump.
And I think Joe Biden is the Democrats will do what they always do.
They're going to talk about Republicans racist, sexist, misogynist, homophobist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, transphobic, wanting dirty air and water, and wanting grandma and grandpa thrown over a cliff.
And now you can add to that, they'll demagogue abortion, January 6th, and Trump, Trump, Trump in every negative pejorative they could ever think of.
That is how they're going to run.
They're not going to run on Joe Biden's successful record because there isn't one.
I'll just tell you one story.
I was with President Trump on his plane.
We flew to Iowa.
This was a couple of months ago.
And I've just got to tell you this for you, you've probably seen it yourself, but I've never seen anything like it.
We land that plane in Des Moines, and it's about, I don't know, seven, eight-mile drive to get from Des Moines to the convention center where we're speaking.
And I'm not exaggerating, Sean.
The every road was filled with the sides of the roads.
Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, everywhere for eight straight miles.
It's incredible the effect that this man and the affection that American working class were, you know, middle class people, they're sick of uh, oh, if you're uh conservative, you're a racist, you're a misogynist, you know, all of that stuff.
I think people are sick of it, don't you?
Yeah, I do.
However, they keep doing it because obviously it works.
And I would argue, especially on the issue of abortion.
Uh, if you want to know why I think well, one of the biggest contributors to the red wave that people predicted was coming in 2022 that didn't happen, is because of abortion.
And Republicans better get it right.
And I'm telling you right now, I don't think the country uh wants the most restrictive abortion laws.
I think if you're asking my thoughts on swing voters and where the consensus point is, it's either first trimester or 15 weeks like the Dobbs decision.
Anything more restrictive, I think would face some negative backlash and voter backlash.
And I also if they stuck to that formula, it would then empower them to go after radical Democrats that want no restriction on any abortion at any anytime during pregnancy, even late-term abortion.
Well, you know, I'm this is not my expertise, but I'll say this that I think Trump beat Hillary Clinton on this issue.
Remember in that famous last debate, he said, you know, you want to you want abortions up to the time, you know, you've cut the umbilical court.
And that's not something the Americans are for.
By the way, Trump isn't almost complete with agreement with what you just said, Sean.
I mean, he wants reasonable restrictions on abortion.
He doesn't want why are taxpayers funding abortions?
Yeah, why are we?
Why do they allow late anytime you ask a liberal Democrat, uh, do you have any restrictions at all on abortion?
They don't want to answer the question, or they'll give this flimsy.
I don't think there's any room in a hospital bed or emergency room or delivery room for anybody other than the doctor and the patient.
In other words, well, if that's the case, then you have no restrictions on abortion and you want American taxpayer dollars to pay for it.
It's insane.
Uh, Steve Moore, we'll be checking in on the economy throughout the uh new year.
We wish you the best, my friend.
Thank you for everything.
You too.
Thank you, Sean.
Happy New Year.

This is What's Right with America.
You're listening to The Sean Hannity Show.
Hi, 25 now to the top of the hour.
Here's our toll-free number.
We'll get to your calls here in a second.
800-941-SEAN if you want to be a part of the program.
Alejandro Mayorkas, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary, apparently showed up on Liberal Joe this morning, and he blames everything but himself.
Now, remember, this is the same man that has been out there, along with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Karine Jean-Pierre and Circleback Jen Psaki, all lying to you, telling you that the border is secure and the border is closed.
Well, 8.3 million people that we know of came into this country in the first three years.
Almost a million since the start of this fiscal year, uh uh, which started on October the first of last year.
Almost a million already.
Uh so that means we're now at 9.3 million people, and the number just keeps going up and up and up.
But they told us it was closed.
The borders was closed, the borders secure.
But he has a lot of people, a lot of things to blame.
He blames climate change.
He blames uh Governor Abbott of Texas.
Um he starts, you know, blaming the the Trump administration for the backlog of asylum seekers.
You know, and then claims we're starting to see results of Mexico's increased cooperation.
That is another lie.
But let but this is why, if you're looking for a reason to impeach somebody, well, you can impeach Joe Biden, but not upholding his oath to follow our constitution, swore an oath to our Constitution, which foundationally is every single law that we have, it's its basis is our Constitution.
It's that simple.
It's that basic, it's that fundamental.
And it would warrant if it was Donald Trump in office and he was picking and choosing what laws he would enforce and not enforce.
If Donald Trump was aiding and abetting in law breaking, I guarantee you, Democrats would want to impeach him.
So listen to your Secretary of Homeland Security, the guy claiming the borders secure, the borders closed.
This is him now making excuse after excuse after excuse.
So we are seeing the greatest number of displaced people, not only at our southern border, not only in the Western Hemisphere, but across the globe.
You know, I am involved in bilateral and multilateral meetings with my counterparts from foreign countries in Europe, uh, in Asia, in the Indo-Pacific, all over the world, and migration, the challenge of displaced people, is a subject that comes up in every single conversation.
We have the effects of climate change, poverty, increasing level of authoritarianism, the very many challenges that are at the root cause of the displacement of people around the world.
So we have taken action on the border, and we've taken action with respect to the challenges that cities across the country are facing.
Let me let me identify one fundamental problem here, and that is the fact that we have one governor in the state of Texas who is refusing to cooperate with other other governors and other local officials and coordinate efforts to address a challenge that our country, which this country should stand united to address, that our country is facing.
And it's a remarkable failure of governance to refuse to cooperate with one's fellow local and state officials.
So Mexico is doing uh a great uh deal.
Uh we were uh there in Mexico City meeting with President Lopez Obrador last week, Secretary Blinken, and I joined by the President's Homeland Security Advisor, Liz Sherwood Randall.
Uh, they have a migration challenge themselves, as does Colombia, as does Ecuador, as does Costa Rica, as does Panama, as does Guatemala.
This is a regional problem that is challenging our entire hemisphere, and as I referenced earlier, so many countries around the world.
But we spoke with Mexico last week about what we think they can do to assist us in enforcing uh their borders so that we do not see the level of migration, irregular migration at our border, and in fact, we've started to see the results of their increased cooperation and our increased collaboration on the enforcement measures.
So that backlog is a powerful example of how broken our immigration system is and for how long it has been broken, because that backlog existed when I was in the Department of Homeland Security in 2009.
It preceded me then, and it precedes me now in my tenure as a Secretary of Homeland Security.
That three million case backlog has been building for years and years and years.
It got much, much worse when U.S. citizenship and immigration system services, the agency within the Department of Homeland Security that administers our legal immigration system was financially gutted during the prior administration, when it did not receive the fee funds uh that Congress statutorily um uh called upon it to do.
I mean, it's just it just flat out lies.
This guy needs to go and Biden needs to go.
It's just unreal.
All right, let's get to our busy phones.
We'll start with a liberal Rob in Ohio.
Uh Rob, you're on the Sean Hannity show.
Happy New Year, glad you call Mr. Liberal.
What's going on?
Happy New Year to you, Sean.
I just wanted to bring up a few things.
I know you just had the economist on, uh, said some really nice things.
Um, but I wanted to find out from you when Trump said that if Biden got elected, the stock market would crash, and now it's breaking records.
And I know that it's not your barometer, but I bet if the stock market was amazing during Trump, it would be your barometer.
Why do you think Trump said the stock market would crash?
And will he go back on his word saying, I guess I was wrong.
Stock market didn't crash.
Well, let me stop you right there.
Uh I never predicted the stock market or crash, but again, I go back to, you know, look let's talk about the forgotten men and women in this country.
You know, remember the scene in It's a Wonderful Life uh when Jimmy Stewart takes on Mr. Potter and he talks about the Bailey uh building and loan, and he's and he's about to go off to school, but they only way they'll keep it open is if he doesn't go to school and he runs the place, and then he you know, he talked about giving loans and approving loans to people, you know, and he said, you know, those people, Mr. Potter, uh I let me just play it for you.
They do the most of the working and the living and the dying, and anyway, here's what he said.
Just remember this, Mr. Potter, that this rabble you're talking about, they do most of the working and paying and living and dying in this community.
Well, is it too much to have them work and pay and live and die in a couple of decent rooms and a bath?
Anyway, my father didn't think so.
People were human beings to him, but to you, a warped, frustrated old man, they're cattle.
Well, in my book, he died a much richer man than you will ever be.
What about the sixty percent of Americans living paycheck to paycheck?
What about the percentage of those that have to uh use their credit card to get bare necessities every month?
What about them?
Because those people are suffering and have been suffering from the day that Joe Biden became their president.
Two thousand seventeen, seventy-eight percent of people were living paycheck to paycheck.
Two thousand and eighteen, eighty percent were.
So why is that your barometer on how well the country's doing?
Well, I'm just making a point here.
I mean, my point to you is do you care about Americans suffering Biden inflation?
Steve Moore just laid out for you real wages, real income for Americans went up six grand with Donald Trump as president, it went down two grand under Joe Biden.
You know, Joe Biden just added two trillion more to the debt.
Um, you know, think about that.
How are we gonna pay that back, especially with the reluctance and resistance uh against energy production by the left in this country?
You know, tell me what you think Joe Biden has done that it that deserves a second term.
And my first question before you answer that is do you or do you not see a significant cognitive decline in your president?
Do you see it?
I I see it absolutely, and I see it in a lot of our Congresspeople.
And Donald Trump and I didn't ask you, I didn't ask you about your Congress people, I didn't ask you about Donald Trump.
Tell me what you see about Joe Biden's cognitive decline.
Explain it in your own words.
So I think absolutely Joe Biden is way too old to be president.
So we can continue on with my conversation.
My conversation was you were saying sixty some percent of people are living paycheck to paycheck.
In under Trump in two thousand.
You don't want to tell you don't want to answer my question, but I'll let you continue to tuck and dodge and and bob and weave away from it.
But movie quote.
You played a movie quote instead of answering my question.
Why did Donald Trump say the economy was going to crash and the stock market was going to crash if Biden was in office?
I I did answer your question, but obviously you're hard to hearing.
I said that when sixty percent of Americans are suffering by living paycheck to paycheck, don't cite the stock market gains that just made up for last year's losses under Biden as some type of successful barometer, because I'm not buying it.
Were you upset in 2017 when seventy-eight percent of people were living paycheck to paycheck?
No, in 2017, when Donald Trump became president, uh remember that he just took over that year and it was Donald Trump that increased wages of the average American by six thousand dollars by the time he left office.
It was Donald Trump it was Donald Trump that created the lowest unemployment rate for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, and women in the workplace.
It w those were Donald Trump policies.
We didn't have ten million people unvetted crossing into our country.
Uh we didn't have this insanity of, you know, uh di uh no no bail laws and dismantle and and defund the police and reimagine police departments.
We actually had something called law and order.
So I I really don't need lectures from you because you can't answer the question.
Tell me which policies of Joe Biden you think are really working.
Do you think he's ha what would what would you grade Biden on the border?
Give me a grade.
I would give probably a D minus.
What would you give Joe Biden with law and order?
Uh I would give him a B because he passed a lot of local area um improvement.
What would you give Joe Biden?
I don't need the ex explanation.
Just give me the grade.
What do you what would you give Joe Biden and his handling of Russia and Ukraine?
I would say about a C plus.
What would you give him on his handling of Israel in the Middle East after the terror attacks?
Uh probably yeah C plus.
Anything overseas, I think we're in the middle no matter what whoever you decide Okay and and let me guess what would you give Joe Biden as it relates to his handling of China and Iran?
That I'm not familiar with so I'm not going to give my answer on that one.
You're not familiar not familiar with the Chinese spy balloon that flew over and and grabbed all the intelligence over our military installations you're not aware of all of China's intellectual property theft and their unfair trade practices.
You're not aware that with Joe Biden as president, that China has been intimidating our fighter jets in international airspace and intimidating our Navy ships in international waterways.
Are you not aware that China is now talking about reunifying or taking over Taiwan, our ally, under Biden's watch?
And none of that concerns you?
And Joe Biden hasn't lifted a finger and punished the communist Chinese at all?
You give him a C plus for that, too, I assume.
What m what makes you think you're gonna give him a C plus for giving releasing tens of billions of dollars to the Iranian mullahs the number one state sponsors of terror?
You're gonna give them an A plus for that Trump give money to Saudi Arabia the number one I'm asking I'm asking you about your qu about your president.
You don't want to answer it.
All you want to do is flip the question talk about Trump.
I'm asking about Biden you love Biden I'm asking you what how you'd grade him was it wise for Joe Biden to give billions of dollars allow billions of dollars to go to the mullahs in Iran do you think that was wise?
I don't like Joe Biden.
Why do you think that I like Joe Biden because I don't like Trump?
Uh I have no doubt in my mind that you're gonna end up voting for Joe Biden.
Am I right or am I wrong?
Jo wrong because Joe Biden or Donald Trump will be even be running for president.
Okay let's assume they are if it's Biden versus Trump, you're voting for Biden.
Admit it stop lying one hundred percent it doesn't mean I like him.
Thank you.
Okay.
You don't like the guy you're voting for I actually think Trump will do a good job.
That's the difference between your candidate and my candidate.
Anyway I appreciate the call liberal Robin Ohio Happy New Year my friend.
Uh let's say hi to uh let's see is it Dallas?
Hey hey Dallas how are you what's going on?
Dallas the Eagles fan and spirit of uh Rex Lima I'd like to say mega ditto congratulations on your raise that you just got from moving from New York to Florida.
I really appreciate it.
I think I appreciate the weather especially you know it's been cold in New York.
I guess yesterday it was a lot colder but I think I appreciate that the most but yeah you're right I'll I'll get a race.
Although I'm sure half the money will go to lawyers and accountants because of uh New York's obsession with going after people that leave their state uh for good but that's that's not not my problem or my issue.
I'm I'm now a full time resident of Florida.
Yeah.
When I moved from Philly to Florida I got a twenty five percent raise just in Texas.
Isn't that amazing?
I mean when I when my accountants ran the numbers for me because I have a lot of years on both radio and TV on my contracts left.
I'm not going anywhere.
I'm not stopping working.
I'm not slowing down.
This is this is hardly, you know, the beginning of my retirement.
Uh, far from it.
I'll be around for the next couple of presidential elections, God willing.
Uh, but yeah, when you think about it, it's a lot of money and savings.
And frankly, it's money that I'd I'd rather give to charity or my kids or my grandkids.
But I'll give you the last word, my friend.
I just I but my original call was uh immigration and the uh the incompassionate people uh as far as saying, oh, sanctuary cities is is compassionate.
And if anything from compassionate, I don't know how you can send people to live without being able to work, and then they have no resources to work in a sanctuary city or state, and now that in California they're getting free health care and free education.
And the if you have compassion, what about for the taxpayers that are overburdened now?
You wonder why California leads the way in in mass migration out of the state.
It's because of their policies.
You know, I I don't think the newsome people like the debate with Ron DeSantis much because I asked factual, I asked fact-based questions.
Their policies are what they are either own them or change them.
They they apparently want to double down on owning them.
Anyway, my friend, happy new year.
Appreciate the call.
800-941 Sean.
