What I told people, I was making a podcast about Benghazi.
Nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked why.
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries.
This is Fiasco Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?
Listen to Fiasco Benghazi on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, welcome back to the Sean Hannity Show.
It's the Seculos In for Sean.
This is Jay Jordan and Logan, all three of us here.
We're going to be joined by our friend Rick Rennell, who is a colleague of ours at the American Center for Law and Justice.
He's a senior advisor to us on international issues.
And we're going to talk about the situation in Israel so you know we represent the ACLJ.
We have an office, an American Center for Law and Justice Office in Jerusalem.
I always think that's important because the European Center for Law and Justice is the European Center for Law and Justice based in Strasbourg, France.
It's staffed by Europeans, but the American Center for Law and Justice is to send that signal both to Israel and the world that America stands with Israel.
And ACLJ's flagship office in Jerusalem is an office that says, yes, Americans, whether they are dual citizens, whether they are Jewish Americans or Christian Americans, they stand with the Jewish state of Israel, and it's unique in our in the way we've set up our offices that we have not sent Americans over to run this in the sense of pe these people having the connection to Israel and the connection to the United States of America,
that combined connection, which right now is under attack by the Biden administration.
You're not right now we're we've seen the Biden administration try and tell the Israelis how to conduct a war.
Could you imagine in a country trying to tell us how to conduct the war against ISIS?
Could you imagine a country trying to conduct a uh telling us how to conduct a war against the Taliban?
Or how about Iraq?
It's not something even or World War II.
Would they say, you know, get out as quickly as you can?
There's too many civilians in Germany.
So you know, get it out, you just get it done.
No, instead, it's eradicate the Nazis, make sure they're gone forever, and it you know what?
If some people got hurt along the way, that's okay because the Nazis are so bad, we gotta get rid of them first.
That's Hamas in this day and age.
Yes.
You have to get rid of them and some civilians, including Israelis.
Yeah, we found that out today.
Hostages, we found out today.
They represent, uh we represent families of hostages and the family, there's a family coalition, and one of our clients today was was shot.
It was it's all over the news right now.
He escaped, but the Israeli, it was evidently Israeli fire.
They thought he was a terrorist.
But so what happens in listen, we defended Operation Cast led at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, and that was a lot of that kind of urban warfare.
It's very difficult.
And it's very, and we're it's real this is a really sad moment for us and for the family, obviously.
But war is horrible, and this shows you how horrible war is.
But the ACLJ's involved in the legal side on all of this.
Yeah, I think that's right.
And you have to look at it.
Look, I think it's very difficult.
It's a little bit different from even a World War II in the sense of we are seeing all of this.
Obviously, none of us were alive then, but we were also seeing everything in real time.
Yeah, not seeing it's different.
You know, you think about you see a news reel in the 1940s, uh, you know, before a movie you went to.
Uh, a little bit harder to separate than when you see uh Carissa Ward in Gaza, you know, and seeing what's happening there.
It is, it does tug on your humanitarian human human heart strengths and go, well, what are we doing here?
Um But we have to look at a bigger picture.
You do have to look at what's happening in Israel and understand also what you're seeing.
A lot of it is being manipulated by uh by Hamas and all of that.
But sure, is there atrocities happening?
Is it really heartbreaking to watch?
Absolutely.
But I think that we have to figure out a way, and Israel has to figure out a way to combat that uh publicly.
That publicly, because when you have a 24-hour news cycle, it's tough.
Um, and you're now months after the catastrophic event, uh, it's even different than it was during uh the war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq.
Yes.
It looks very different.
But you also realize this.
An hour ago, we weren't going to discuss that one of our clients was one of the hostages that were killed today because it wasn't on the news, and then an hour later, it is all over those.
Let's go right to Rick Rennell, who is uh our senior advisor, but also served as the director of national intelligence for President Trump and the ambassador to Germany.
Rick, we talked about this issue on our broadcast secular, which is, by the way, live uh noon Eastern time and in place throughout the country and get information about our broadcast at ACLJ.org.
But Rick Jordan mentioned this whole idea of the United States dictating to the Israelis on the next move.
And while we're, you know, we're suffering today with the loss of a client.
And war is a horrible thing, but this idea that the United States is telling the Israelis what to do is to me very troubling.
Well, it's very troubling because we still have hostages, right?
I mean, when when the hostages are still uh being held, we need to be able to say to uh the government of Israel, go do what you need to do.
Go fight terrorism, go fight this evil and and bring the hostages home.
I find it to be very troubling that while we have American hostages uh held by Hamas that we have a president who is saying to Israel, uh, this is what you should and should not do in dealing with Hamas.
Let Israel deal with them.
They're the ones who suffer these consequences.
The last thing that we would want is for someone to be telling us what to do after 9-11.
Rick, when you you know, you and I have done uh we all have done hostage negotiations, and it's it's a tough situation.
Um but you just mentioned there are 10 American hostages, uh well, eight to ten, we don't know the exact number, still held, and seems like no progress being made.
No, no, no progress is being made.
Remember that the president of the United States, Joe Biden, went uh over to the region.
We didn't get our hostages returned.
Secretary of State Blinken has been there a couple of times, and we have not gotten our hostages returned.
Now Jake Sullivan is there.
Um I I don't understand why we're going lower rank.
Usually you would go higher rank.
Uh, but we need to be able to have diplomats who are actually uh successful, who who know how to do something more than culinary diplomacy.
We can't have uh weak diplomats.
We need to have people who know how to bring home hostages, who know how to use the leverage of the U.S. government.
I don't understand why Anthony Blinken, who has his own plane, is not parked in Qatar saying, I'm not leaving until I bring home the American hostages.
Let's fly in there together.
We know where the leverage points are.
Get them home.
Yeah, Rick, I mean, this is I think what is upsetting to people because we see instead Jake Sullivan being sent over to deliver a message to the Israeli government that you better watch out or else you're gonna start losing the support of Washington, D.C. And we're actually seeing that in the news right now as we speak.
I mean, it is literally being reported, is that we are concerned about Israel's continued actions in the Gaza Strip.
And that is the message he was sent to deliver to the war cabinet.
It's very perplexing.
We we have American hostages being held, and the national security advisor is telling Israel to go to ease up.
Think about that.
That that that's not a uh using the tools of the U.S. government to bring home people.
But this shouldn't surprise anyone because we we we literally had the White House, Joe Biden's White House, bragging that they got 90% of the people out in Afghanistan.
Like that was a big achievement when all I heard is you left 10% of the people behind.
Well, that's the way when they it's the way they spin it.
Now, right now there are reports that the shipping in the Red Sea area, which is a huge transport for uh uh energy, oil, gas, et cetera, natural gas and and energy, that that is the major shipping entities have said they're they're not putting any ships in the in the too dangerous.
The same thing in the Suez Canal, same problems.
We're vulnerable on the energy side of this, Rick.
We weren't when you all were in office, but we are now.
It's all of energy, it's all of commerce issues.
The entire region is is literally being leveraged by the Iranians.
Let's be very clear.
The Biden administration decided to engage with Iran because they believed that engagement would work.
We know that that that's not true with the Iranians.
By the way, I believe in engagement.
Uh President Trump engaged on North Korea, and we actually uh were able to be very successful with that engagement.
Sometimes engagement works.
We've tried it with Iran.
It does not work.
What works with Iran with this radical regime is to isolate them, sanction them, and make them a pariah state.
That worked.
It was working under the Trump administration.
Joe Biden decided to start uh normalizing relations with them, asking them for a nuclear agreement, paying them, easing the sanctions, and so they now have lots more money to spread it around to all of the uh terrorist groups that they fund.
Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, the list goes on and on.
You know, Iran is the largest exporter of terrorism in the world.
We did a documentary, Logan wouldn't it was up.
That's been a number of years ago.
We were way ahead of the curve on the road.
10 plus years ago with those money.
Yeah, we did a documentary called The Export.
And they are the largest exporter of terrorism in the world, Iran.
Now I want you to look at the time frame here, folks.
We free up all this money, the United States frees up all these sanctions, frees up all this money, and what happens?
That money, which is fungible, ends up getting into the hands of who they support.
Hamas was in Iran with the Ayatollahs before the attacks on Israel.
Where did they get the money from to do those attacks?
Yes, Iran.
And that's the problem here.
Iran is the head of the snake.
Right, Rick, I think what people are trying to figure out right now is where they see on TV that there is this concern between the White House growing rift is the headlines.
Growing rift between White House and Israel.
Doesn't say America and Israel.
No, it's the White House.
It's specifically the Biden team and Israel, that the rift is growing apart, and that's Jake Sullivan.
Again, I go back to that.
He got tasked to go deliver that message to the Israeli war cabinet and government today and basically tell them how to conduct their war against Hamas, which they've been very clear with the world about.
They said we're not going to stop until Hamas is destroyed, just like our wars against ISIS, just like our wars against Al Qaeda and searching for Bid Laden, those did not stop until those individuals were dead.
Look, I think the only headline that we need to see is that the American government is demanding the return of the hostages from Hamas and uh demanding that Qatar and others uh uh you know help us.
That's the pressure point, not Israel.
We've got you've also got the situation, of course, where we we've got a world crisis right now under the under this administration.
You've got you got Russia in Ukraine, you got you know, Hamas attacking Israel in the in the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
Who knows what China's gonna do next?
You know, when you look at where we've gone in three years, and I know you were intimately involved in stabilizing our relationships globally.
This has got to be, I mean, as somebody I worked, you know, with the president too.
This is this is it's depressing.
Yeah, look, uh I uh uh I'm watching the situation and it's very sad.
Um, I see multiple wars.
I see uh regional conflicts, certainly the Balkans that I know very well.
Uh we're increasing NATO troops there rather than decreasing.
Uh we we really have conflicts around the world.
We have high gas prices, we have food uh prices that are skyrocketing.
I I think it's pretty clear that Joe Biden, the politician, doesn't hold a candle to Donald Trump the outsider, the business.
You know, it's gonna be interesting when all this Rick, I appreciate you being with us.
Uh, and thank you for being part of the team here at the ACLJ.
And thank you for giving us your analysis on Hannity.
We really appreciate it, Rick.
All the best.
All right, very good.
One of the unique things about the ACLJ is we have, for instance, Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State, is part of our ACLJ team.
Rick Rennell, part of our ACLJ team.
Tulsi Gabbard, part of the ACLJ team, and then we have our internal experts as well, and then we have the whole media operation.
So if you want to get more information about what we do, go to ACLJ.org.
ACLJ.org, and you can get all kinds of information about the work of the American Center for Law and Justice.
And check out our new movie, Jingle Smells at Jingle Smells.movie.
Back with more.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started Normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass.
You're our kind of people.

Nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked, why?
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
It's almost a dirty word.
One that connotes conspiracy theory.
Will we ever get the truth about the Benghazi massacre?
Bad faith, political warfare, and frankly, bullshit.
We kill the ambassador just to cover something up.
You put two and two together.
Was it an overblown distraction or a sinister conspiracy?
Benghazi is a rosetta stone for everything that's been going on for the last 20 years.
I'm Leon Nafok from Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries.
This is Fiasco Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?
Yeah, that's right.

Music.
Thank you.
Hey, by the way, if you like that music, go to J Seculo Ban on Facebook and you could uh hear all our music.
And we're gonna be doing a live concert on uh New Year's Eve, and you can watch that on Rumble.
That's our preferred provider, YouTube, Facebook, and I think even on uh X now.
Yeah, exactly.
A lot of people are joining us live on X Now, so I'm excited about that.
We appreciate that.
Hey, folks, I I want to say a thank you to the Sean Hannity audience because when we were on the last couple of times and we talked to you about the ACLJ, literally thousands of you joined the American Center for Law and Justice.
And I'm I'm talking about multiple thousands, and you have no idea what a blessing that has been to the organization.
If you're new to us, uh, encourage you to go to ACLJ.org and check out uh what we're doing at the American Center for Law and Justice.
We've talked about a lot of it as the Supreme Court cases, the standing up for life, the stuff, the issues we're dealing with in Israel.
But right now we're in a faith and freedom year-end drive because December is the most important month for our organization because a lot of our revenue comes in the last two weeks of the month of December as people do year-end giving.
So I want to encourage you, whether it's look, we've helped a state park employee who had a Trump bumper sticker on their car and was fired, got that case resolved, to the nativity scene in the town square, to the situation in the Middle East, to Supreme Court cases, to attempts to take the former president off of a ballot, uh defending Charlie Kirk and TP USA against social media censorship, and on and on it goes.
At the same time, we've got our, as we just mentioned, our office in Jerusalem.
So we can't do any of this without your support.
I want to encourage you to join the American Center for Law and Justice today by going to ACLJ.org, and we are in our Faith in Freedom Drive, which means any amount you donate, whatever amount is, it's going to be matched by somebody else.
So that makes what that means.
If you donate $50, someone else has given us $50, so effectively you've donated $100.
And like I said, literally hundreds of you have joined the American Center for Law and Justice.
We're a membership-based organization, uh, financially supported by our members.
So I encourage you to join with us at ACLJ.org.
It's a great way to stand for freedom, great way to start the new year.
And many of you have given monthly, which means you're an ACLJ champion.
Makes a huge difference.
We got a lot more to cover on the Sean Hannity program, including big issues on this impeachment inquiry.
We got a lot more to cover on the Sean
Hannity program, and we got a lot more to cover on the Sean Hannity program.
He never stops working for the good of the country.
Sean Hannity with behind-the-scenes information on today's breaking news.
Hannity is on right now.
You know, you got all the Seculo's today on Hannity.
This is Jordan Seculo.
Jay Seculo's on as well as Logan Seculo.
And we are honored to be joined right now by Congressman Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District.
And Congressman, a lot of you have A couple of questions I want to ask you, and we really want to start with your thoughts, because you're on the Judiciary Committee.
And in 2020, uh you were a Democrat, and you changed parties because you said, you know what?
This impeachment of President Trump is wrong.
And you said, I'm going to actually switch parties and become a Republican and fight back against this.
And now as a Republican, uh, you're on the Judiciary Committee, and you're beginning an impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
So I want you to talk to the Hannity audience today about the first steps you're going to take now that the inquiry has been officially voted by the full House.
You've got the subpoena power to take to the Biden administration, to take to the White House council, and to really take them to the Colts.
Absolutely.
This is about following the facts.
It's crossing T's, dotting I's, making sure we do it the right way.
Remember, none of this happened when they went after President Trump.
And the reason it didn't happen is because there was nothing there.
There was nothing for them to find out.
So they were playing pure politics.
We're not doing that.
We aren't crossing T's and dotting I's.
We're going to go through a process, as you just outlined, where we're going to have subpoenas, depositions, we're going to work with judges, we're going to get the information, we're going to push as hard as we can.
And the question is why?
What makes us think that we need to do this?
Let's just review a few facts.
Number one, um the barisma board.
Now, Barisma is an energy agency, it's actually, I'm sorry, an energy company that is located in Ukraine.
And the bottom line is, oddly enough, for some reason, Hunter Biden was on the board.
He knows nothing about energy.
There would be no reason for him to be on the board of what is or was a corrupt energy company, but he was.
The real interesting stuff is that also then Vice President Biden was privy and on some of the phone calls with this energy company.
And when they expressed that they were real concerned because they were being investigated by a prosecutor in Ukraine was looking for corruption because they were corrupt, and there's a lot of corruption in Ukraine.
They said they they did they had to remove somehow get rid of this prosecutor.
And the president went forward, then vice president, and he went to Ukraine and laid it out, and he was proud of it.
If you don't get rid of this Victor Shokin, who was the prosecutor that was investigating corruption, you're not getting money from the United States.
Well, obviously, they got rid of the prosecutor.
Something's wrong there.
What else is wrong?
If you look at James Biden, his brother, he got money from a failed hospital corporation for no reason at all.
But when they failed and they went bankrupt, they outlined that the money they gave was because they wanted to have the Biden brand on their side.
Even more important, the day they wired him 200,000 is the very day that James Biden wrote a check.
President Biden.
Joe Biden got a check for the exact same amount of money on the exact same day.
And real quickly, why is it that the Biden family and Biden associates have received received up to 20 million dollars?
That's a lot of money.
And they've received this money from countries like Ukraine, Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, uh, Romania, China.
Something's whether I'll tell you what, your listeners, they're not getting checks from all these people.
Your listeners don't have a system that works where they have dummy corporations and they have shell corporations where they transfer money from one entity to another.
This all has to be tracked.
And what it's tells of is influence peddling for sure.
There's a lot there.
I haven't even touched half of it.
You know, Congressman, we handled uh I defended uh uh President Trump in that first impeachment uh involving the situation in Ukraine uh with the phone call.
And to me, the whole thing was the entire process was absurd.
It was absurd the way the Democrats handled the witnesses before, not letting us participate in the depositions.
It was an it was insulting to the American people.
I think the way they conducted themselves on the floor of the United States Senate when they prosecuted this.
My concern with all of this is that we kind of cheapened the whole impeachment thing.
There's only been three impeachments, now four, and now this is the fifth in our nation's history.
And now of a sudden the bar's been set so low.
Um in this situation here, how do you anticipate the pushback from the White House counsel's office, because I was on the other end of this, is going to be fierce.
You all know that though, going into it, correct?
Of course we know it's going to be fierce.
Here's the deal.
If you've done nothing wrong, you've got nothing to fear.
I mean, there is so much influence coming from either the vice president at the time or now President Biden.
You know, I didn't even talk about the plea deal.
So here, and we all know his son's a bad guy, and I will be the first to say the sins of a son can't be visited on a father just for that reason alone.
But the bottom line is that the father, Joe Biden, was involved.
You you gotta know there's nobody in the history of American jurisprudence, nobody in the history of American law that ever got a plea deal like the one they were trying to give him.
They not only was he going to be exonerated for the crimes that we know he committed.
I mean, he did purchase a gun illegally, falsifying a federal uh form.
We know that he disposed of the gun illegally into a dumpster.
We know these are all these are all things that we know for sure that he was high, that he was inebriated under the influence of drugs when he did it.
And yet they were going to give him the special plea deal.
You know what I believe?
I I I am we shouldn't be impeaching presidents right and left.
But this is a real case here.
And what concerns me is the old saying, justice for thee, but not for me.
We have a two-level system of justice in the Department of Justice.
Well, let me let me follow up on that one.
And Jordan's got a question, and that's something you've been very concerned about, and that is the FBI's weaponization and targeting.
Go ahead.
I don't know how many times Chris Ferre's come to your committees and the Judiciary Committee had gone under oath and said, you know, hey, we've once we found out about that memo about targeting Catholics, how it was just a memo in Richmond, we put a stop to it.
Then we found out, ah, well, we might have actually put an agent inside one church in Richmond.
Oh, we might have actually told the office in Los Angeles and across the country, three, four, five, maybe six other uh FBI offices that this this memo was floating around.
But we we we've pulled it back now, trust us.
I mean, it it just seems like every time the FBI is getting caught, and they got caught based off uh just an idea.
There, this was not like some widespread issue or some real problem with inside the they're actually the the radical traditionalist Catholic, the term they came up with was a term one individual called himself.
They could not even define the term because it whatnot was using this term.
Yet they had four offices, Congressman, involved in this.
We filed a uh Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, the ACLJ, against the FCI.
Yeah, and they well, they had people in the churches.
And we f we found out there's twelve hundred pages of documents responsive to this quote non-issue within the FBI.
Absolutely.
And by the way, Christopher, I was asking him questions about this very thing.
He may have seen it.
He perjured himself.
I asked him if he had lists of churches.
He said, What do you mean, listen?
And he started to actually stammer a little bit because he was getting nervous because we were on to something.
And you know, we only know about the Catholic churches.
God knows there may have been evangelical churches, uh, conservative synagogues.
We don't even know what else.
But this we do know.
We have the proof, we have the emails.
Here's where he perjured himself.
I asked him the day he testified in front of us in judiciary.
You know, have you done this?
Is uh just the Virginia Field office, just one mistake there, yes, absolutely.
Sorry it happened, but it was only there.
And we found out because of you folks and others, and and because we dug in it was across the country, there were multiple offices.
They considered traditional Roman Catholics enemies.
You know why?
Because they tend to be a little more conservative, because they tend to be faithful, and that doesn't fit the picture they want for the future of the.
You want to play, I want to play for the audience, uh, a little sparring with you and uh Merrick Carlton.
Take a listen.
Attorney General, through the chair, I ask you, do you agree that traditional Catholics are violent extremists?
I have no idea what your what the traditional uh means here.
Let me just explain.
May I answer your question?
The idea that someone with my family background would discriminate against any religion is so outrageous.
So absurd attorney general, it was your FBI that did this.
It was your FBI that was sending, and we have the memos, we have the emails.
We're sending undercover agents into Catholic churches.
Congressman, you hit him hard, and he had course he got this emotional response, but the truth is this was not some limited program.
This was a coast to coast, multiple officers, 1200 pages of documents, which we're going to get next week, and you caught them.
Absolutely, and they didn't like it.
Thank God we're there.
And uh just for your listeners, and I don't want to be partisan all the time, but thank God there was a Republican majority in the House of Representatives, and we have my good friend that I work with all the time, Jid Jordan, as the chairman of the committee.
But guess what?
You all would never know.
Nobody would know.
It would have been hidden.
This matters.
It was wrong.
I mean, it's so unbelievable.
It sounds like it's made up, but it's not.
You know what else is not made up about the FBI?
How about the misuse of Pfizer?
Pfizer for people who are listening, don't know what it is.
It is a way for the FBI to investigate American citizens if they believe that they are involved with foreign terrorist.
That's the simple and short definition.
But guess what they were using it for?
The track people they didn't like, who are conservative, boyfriends and girlfriends of other agents.
They missed used it hundreds of thousands of times.
That's why when we redo, when we reauthorize Pfizer, we need the bill that we've produced in our committee.
Uh, because the committee that we have has done a good job of making sure that you can go after the bad guys, but you don't go after the good guys.
Americans just try to live their lives.
Congressman, we appreciate the work you're doing.
We look forward to continuing to work with you and your committees, and we are committed at the ACLJ to standing with you for justice here.
Thanks for being with us on Hannity today.
I appreciate you, and I want to wish everybody a very Murray, happy, healthful, and blessed Christmas.
Thank you very much, Congressman.
We appreciate it.
You know, the interesting thing, folks, is when this issue broke with the targeting of the Catholics.
We took action at the American Center for Law and Justice and actually filed a lawsuit against the FBI.
In that response, this was after they said it was just this limited thing and it wasn't a big deal.
The fact of the matter was they had to respond that there were twelve hundred pages of documents about this particular surveillance activity that we're engaged in.
And next week, because of our action in federal court, they have to turn that over to us.
And we will continue to litigate that and get all.org.
And if you'd like to make an end of your donation, and maybe you'd like to make a big donation to the ACLJ.
You've heard all about this work that we do over the last couple hours on the Hannity Broadcast.
Uh, we encourage you to do that at ACLJ.org, and it will be matched dollar for dollar.
But if you also are someone who wants to make a monthly donation to the ACLJ, you could do that now, and that donation this month will also be matched.
So if you can choose the mouth that is comfortable for you monthly, do it right now, and you'll become an ACLJ champion, which is so important to our team at ACLJ.org.
