If you want to be a part of the program, a lot of a lot of questions about a hospital that was blown up in Gaza and there are conflicting reports and finger pointing going on everywhere here, there and everywhere.
And you know what it is that actually happened here.
One of the things that I saw on breaking news is uh that Israel says Islamic Jihad movement misfired a rocket that struck the hospital, but there's a ton of finger pointing going on.
Uh anyway, uh some of the Arabic news channels are reporting that a misfired Hamas rocket fired out of Gaza fell short and struck their own hospital.
Uh so that's another report there.
So yeah, I don't know what's gonna happen.
Uh now you got the threats of Iran going on, and of course, we don't know when the second vote for speakers gonna take place, if it's even gonna take place.
Uh, you do have a lot of news that we have yet to get to on a lot of different fronts.
You know, one thing that's interesting to watch, um, five Democratic House members today, I'm sorry, this was yesterday, introduced a measure calling for the immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
And when President Biden spoke to an LBGTQ event on Saturday, an attendee interrupted shouting, let Gaza live, cease fire now.
Growing number of Democrats are pushing the White House to take stronger action to restrain Israel's response.
I I mean, I'm having a very hard time understanding this mentality.
We lost 2,977 Americans on 9-11.
When and they would lose the that would be the 1,400 Israelis killed would be the equivalent of 38,000 Americans if we extrapolate out for population.
And you want them to what, not have a response?
I'll tell you what the response needs to be is that you know, with tens and tens of thousands of rockets fired from Gaza into neighboring cities in Israel, they need to make sure that is no longer a launching pad for them.
That that can never be a launching pad ever again.
What does that look like?
I don't know.
How do you get every Hamas member out of there?
I don't know that either.
You know, and Israel, of course, has been battling in the north with his Hezbollah and uh, you know, another Iranian-backed proxy war, then Iran is threatening individually to get in.
But um anyway, it was an interesting article on Yahoo News.com about how this Israeli Hamas conflict is spilled over in a newsroom.
Later on, I'll get to apparently there's this there was a story about three Muslim anchors over at MSDNC.
I don't watch the place, so I'm not really that familiar with these people.
And some of the outrageous things that have been said, and I'm like, well, why are they even working at MBC if you have one of their hosts comparing non-Muslims to animals and you have it on tape?
You know, or a clip of the host comparing non-believers and atheists to cattle.
And we never lose the moral high ground.
If we know anything of Shia the Muhammad, we know that keeping the moral high ground is key.
Once we lose the moral high ground, we are indifferent from the rest of the non-Muslims.
from the rest of those human beings who live their lives as animals, bending any rule to fulfil any desire.
Once we do that, we are lost.
And of course, the Gotha, the disbeliever, the atheists who remain death and bugham to the teachings of Islam, the rational method of the Quran.
They are described in the Quran as quote, "A people of no intelligence." Allah describes Allah.
Not of no morality, not of no belief, a people of no intelligence.
Because they are incapable of the intellectual effort required to shake off those blind credit.
To shake off those easy assumptions about this world, about these systems of God.
In this respect, the Quran described the atheist as capital, a cattle of those who go into crap.
And do not something wonder about this world.
How did they get hired?
Having said that just a few short years ago.
Donors now are punishing all these Ivy League institutions like Harvard and Yale and UPenn, Wharton School of Business.
They've they've had it with all of this.
And so we're watching that unfold as well.
You have one Mideast expert warning of tens of thousands of terrorists may have entered our country.
This sound familiar, because I've been telling you this as a result of Biden's open borders policy.
By the end of this year, it's we're now over seven and a half million, according to most estimates, illegal immigrants that have come into our country thanks to Joe Biden's open borders policies.
I told you about the 19 Iranians that were identified at the border in the last week, and the 17 Syrians identified at the border.
One Middle East security expert that advised Donald Trump on terrorism issues said tens of thousands of jihadists have likely crossed into America since Joe Biden reversed Trump's border security policies.
You know, look at the operation by Hamas in Israel, a thousand of three thousand Hamas operatives.
Waleed Farez, who I've interviewed in the past, telling just the news.com, now you can imagine numerically that there are tens of thousands of potential jihadist Hamas radicals that are now within the United States.
This is the scariest projection that one would think of.
I'm not even going that far.
I'm just saying I guarantee you that among the eight million by the end of this year of illegal immigrants, I guarantee you people that have connections to terrorism have entered this country and that there are terror tells uh terror cells plotting, planning, and scheming.
Another attack.
By the way, the other university now refusing Columbia University, refusing to comment even on a growing furor over a tenured professor that called Hamas's terror attack against Israel awesome.
As a petition calling for his ouster gave more than 45,000 signatures.
What if what if a professor said something you know morally repugnant that was, you know, disgusting and racist?
What if they, you know, said something against transgenderism or the LBGTQ plus community?
Well, what would be the reaction there?
Anyway, this uh professor accused of condoning supporting terrorism.
And anyway, the teacher called Hamas' attacks on Israel a stunning victory.
Really?
Kill killing innocent 260 innocent kids at a concert?
Killing babies and chop and and beheading them?
That that we're gonna really call that you know, awesome.
Pretty sick.
And our kids go to school here.
One Iran's uh weapons experts saying the Biden administration funneled hundreds of millions of dollars to Hamas expert on Iran's weapons development serving in the Trump administration said the Biden administration tried to send at least a billion dollars in humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
Biden White House used a pro-terr uh terrorist UN agency as a conduit.
And they rerouted more than a third of the that billion dollar bonanza to Hamas.
This was in the Daily Mail.
U.S. taxpayer dollars are able to flow freely to Iran backed Hamas and Hezbollah because the United Nations Security Council failed to label them as terrorists.
Well, I how many years have I said America needs to get out of these globalist organizations, starting with the UN.
UN is a history of anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism.
You know, look at the countries with the worst most atrocious human rights records end up on the human rights commission.
Well, that's just genius.
Unbelievable.
And we have a new report out today that Senate Republicans are now having to demand that Biden refreeze the six billion dollar giveaway to Iran.
I thought we were Iran, I thought we were told that happened already.
Because the media has been insisting that the Biden administration has this secret deal with bankers in Qatar where the money was transferred out of a South Korean bank to block the access to six billion dollars.
Is that an issue right now?
Because Senate Republicans earlier today are demanding that the Biden administration do it formally and refreeze the money.
Why they ever gave six billion for five hostages is beyond my comprehension.
Again, I go back to a story I mentioned in the first hour, Iran is warning that there may be an imminent preemptive action against Israel.
So we're not even talking any longer about just a two-front war.
If Iran gets in this, let me tell you something.
You know, all bets are off in terms of how Israel will defend itself.
There'll be no influence by anybody in the Biden administration when it comes to the very existence of Israel being threatened.
There'll be no ambiguity.
None.
I know he's scheduled a visit tomorrow.
I'm not sure what he's going for.
Not sure if he'll be functioning well.
I would expect probably not.
I don't know how many of you have taken the time to look at these hostage videos.
You got one hostage video, a twenty-one-year-old, you know, uh French Israeli who, according to Reuters, asked to be returned to her family as soon as possible.
And I see this this poor girl's mother, uh, you know, a beautiful young woman, and and she's now being held by Hamas terrorists.
I'm not, I would assume maybe she was at the concert.
I didn't read the whole story.
But I mean, this is a disaster for these families.
And there are there is Senate action on this.
I told you earlier Tom Cotton is calling on Biden's DHS to deport any pro Hamas foreign nationals.
They don't even know where these illegal immigrants are.
That's a big problem in and of itself.
And Josh Hawley is calling on the Biden DOJ to investigate pro Hamas groups on college campuses, you think?
They have no problem going after domestic potential domestic terrorists, moms and dads, and tiger moms like Linda, you know, that show up at school board meetings and say, yeah, that would not be age appropriate for a seven-year-old.
Unreal.
Biden's nominee to be Israeli ambassador freed up billions of dollars to Iran.
This controversy is now grown by the day.
The media's been echoing the White House's claims that Biden and the rest of the administration fully support Israel.
The facts tell a different story in a move that could only be seen as insulting to the Israeli government.
Biden's pick to be America's ambassador to Israel is a former Obama Treasury secretary that showered Israel's mortar mortal enemy Iran with billions of dollars.
GOP senators, according to Fox News.com signaling they may oppose the Biden nominated Jack Lew from the ambassadorship to Israel due to his record on Iran relations during his time as Secretary of the Treasury.
Lou is now going to go before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee tomorrow for a nomination hearing.
But in 2018, a Senate report by the investigative subcommittee of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee found that Lou during his tenure as Secretary of the Treasury under the Obama administration granted a specific license that authorized a conversion of Iranian assets worth billions of U.S. dollars using the U.S. financial system.
The report found the administration tried to convert 5.7 billion from U.S. banks to Iranian assets.
It noted that the Treasury's office of foreign assets control encouraged two U.S. correspondent banks to convert the funds.
Tom Cotton on that committee telling Fox News.com that the that he will vote to oppose Lou during the confirmation over this.
I know my Democratic colleagues contend that we should confirm him to show our support for Israel, but I turn it around.
We should defeat him and his nomination to show that our nation has a new policy towards Iran.
Marco Rubio saying we need to have an ambassador in Israel, but it has to be the right person.
This is why the vote for Jim Jordan in the House is so critical.
And getting this position filled and getting the the people's house back up and running and open.
House Democrats have moved to let Hamas off the hook in in many ways.
Corey Bush leading a coalition of progressive representatives calling for Biden to work toward an immediate ceasefire fire.
No, it's not the time for a ceasefire.
Because this war was brought to Israel.
Israel didn't want this war.
Israel now has the right to defend itself and forever put protections in place so that Gaza will no longer be a launching pad for tens of thousands of missiles being sent into Israel.
That has to happen.
All right, well, following this story, we don't know when this vote.
I just checked in with Chad Pergram.
Uh, it will take place in the House.
We'll see.
There will be a second vote, probably even a third vote.
I don't know.
Hopefully, this gets done rather expeditiously, and people can put their egos aside and maybe open up the people's house after being closed two weeks during a pretty vital and important uh uh time in our history.
You know, with war in the in Europe, war in the Middle East, open borders, don't have appropriations bills done.
Yeah, they need to get back to work.

All right, as we roll along, I know a lot of you want to weigh in.
We'll get to a lot of your calls coming up.
I promise, next half hour, 800-941-SHAWN, if you want to be a part of the program.
It's so sad as you see these videos of these hostages.
I think this might be do you remember the the video in Vietnam?
Remember that video, Linda, this young young person and the gun.
Remember that video?
It's just it just was iconic.
And I'm just looking at little babies being held by these Hamas terrorists, and this young woman being held hostage.
And I'm just thinking, I I just it's it is so far beyond cruel, on top of all the other atrocities that that Hamas committed here.
And I the I it just it it kind of taps a part of my solar plexus.
It just angers me so much.
And then it gets that much worse when I see people championing, you know, these terrorists and praising them and speaking out in favor of them and blaming the victims here.
It's unreal.
Anyway, 800-941 Sean, our number straight to the phones when we get back.
And we're expecting another uh ballot for the speaker.
We're not sure if that'll happen today or tomorrow or tonight.
We just don't know yet.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
Let's hit our busy phones.
Uh let's say hi to James.
He's in the great state of Ohio, the Buckeye State.
What's going on, James?
How are you, sir?
Good.
How are you, Sean?
I'm good, my friend.
What's on your mind today?
Well, what's on my mind, I listened to the nominations for Speaker of the House today, and of course, the great Jim Jordan was nominated, and uh Gene Jefferies was nominated.
And what are these Republicans trying to do?
What the Democrats take control of the House again so we can revert back to two more two more years for another year of this garbage that they put put on the American people for the first two years of the administration when they controlled the House.
What kind of games are these Democrats playing?
It's not just the Democrats.
I mean, the Republicans, they look, they have the majority, they have a thin majority, and a lot of them are just, you know, they're they're small, they're petty, they play, you know, uh they're not playing long ball.
Long ball is is that everybody needs to start from this understanding and this point of understanding, which is you guys win together or you lose together.
There's not going to be a you know, well, some Republicans win, other Republicans won't.
You know, I see right now an effort by some Republicans.
I would tell any conservative in the House, any temporary, you know, uh short term uh will empower uh the pro tem McHenry to to have be empowered to be speaker for a short period of time.
You know, the the Democrats are pushing that that deal.
Why?
Because Republicans, they they need to do the job.
Their job right now is to find a speaker.
The guy that has 200 votes is Jim Jordan.
That's about where Kevin McCarthy started.
Let them have their little infighting, let them have the little moment in the sun, and eventually, hopefully it settles on Jordan, the house opens up and they get back to doing the people's business.
Uh I'm not that wigged out about it.
I don't get panicked about it, but it's like it's time for these people to get their act together and lead.
They are the majority party.
They don't have a margin of error, uh, so they've got to stick together, whether they like it or not.
And I I wouldn't put up with any Republican supporting Jeffries.
That's crazy.
Yeah, it it is really crazy that we have any insight when it comes to this.
Okay?
It's it's a serious matter.
It's a serious matter.
And you know what?
For some of these guys, some people they favored somebody else.
I get it.
Not everybody is gonna get their way when you when you have such a a small majority, and they need two hundred and sixteen votes, they have two hundred and twenty-two members.
You know what?
That's not a lot of margin of errors.
Not every member is gonna be happy.
What they should be happy about is that they get the how the people's house open and they start dealing with the issue of of borders being wide open.
They start dealing with the appropriations process and funding our government and doing it properly and doing it responsibly and not wasting the people's money.
Uh they need to move forward, you know, on issues involving law and order.
Uh I mean, I just can't the list goes on and on and on.
We've got war breaking out in the Middle East.
We got a war in Europe.
And they need to be back at work.
That's it.
To me, it's simple.
Look out for the people.
Don't be thinking about re-election.
But you know, I will tell you this.
One neither one of these floated ideas, a temporary band-aid solution to briefly empower McHenry, Pro Tem, or anybody else to me is the satisfactory solution.
They need to vote for Speaker.
They need to come to consensus.
They need to get in a room, close the door, turn their phones off, and do their job.
That's how I see it.
All right, James, we'll see what happens, buddy.
Mike in Texas, the free state of Texas.
What's up, Mike?
How are you, sir?
Good afternoon, Mr. Sean Hannity.
A pleasure to talk to you.
Thank you for taking my call.
Thank you, sir.
What's happening?
Wanted to follow up and let you know that I am in Representative Jake Elsey's district in Texas, and he's one of those votes that on the Republican side that voted no for Speaker Jordan.
And I called his office to find out why.
You know, I'm I'm just I'm simply interested.
And the person that answered the phone said, Well, I'm sorry, but I can't speak for Representative Elsie.
And I thought, well, wait a minute.
Didn't I just call his office in Washington?
Their job is to let me know, let his constituents know why he voted a certain way.
And he voted for another representative in Texas.
And I get if it's a you know, if it's a a strong battle between two great people, uh, you know, 150 votes each or something, 120 votes each, but that's not the case.
So I I'm just really frustrated with the Who Who did he vote for?
I don't remember.
Representative Gonzalez.
Another representative out of Texas.
No offense, your congressman wasted his vote.
I I totally agree, and that's what I called his office to find out why did he do that?
And uh the answer I got was unacceptable.
Uh and I get that they're like I said, I could understand if you know Scalise and Jordan were were neck and neck and he wanted to vote one over the other, I could kind of understand that.
But this is a wasted vote, we're wasting time.
And I want his office to hear somebody from his district letting him know that we're tired of it.
We're sick of it.
They need to get the people's house open.
I think you know what?
They've been through the little exercise.
I never liked the idea of any one member could move with a motion to vacate, because at that moment all other work in the house stops.
And this has gone on for two weeks.
That's long enough.
Time to get back to work.
And I I don't blame you.
Uh look, I'm I'm leaving it up to you, the listener.
You decide if you want to call your your representatives.
I'm just speaking generally to all of them.
It is in your best interest to get back to work, solve the problem, and I don't want a band-aid solution, and I certainly won't don't want the idiocy of working with Democrats.
That's a dumb idea.
Anyway, Mike, hang in there, buddy.
Appreciate the call.
We'll stay in Texas.
We'll say hi to Dawn from the Free State of Texas.
What's going on?
How are you, Don?
Hey, I'm good.
Thanks for taking my call, Sean.
Um, I'll try to make this quick.
Um my take on this whole situation with this speaker is we've elected these people, so they work for us, and that's why it's called the People's House.
So we should dock their pay until they get the speaker elected.
No speaker, no pay.
Um they are playing games with no repercussions, and this is serious, and they need to be held accountable.
I'm all in favor of that.
Here's the problem.
You're not the this the house is ostensibly closed until we get a new speaker.
So you couldn't even do that if you wanted to do that, okay?
So, but however, you know, look, whoever becomes the next speaker, and I do hope it's Jim Jordan.
I'm not been shy about expressing my view, uh, but whoever becomes the next speaker, it in my view, it's this person will only have that gavel.
What it's the what days today?
The 17th of October.
All right.
So they will have it for a whopping, you know, 14 and a half Months.
And if they don't like the job after 14 and a half months that the next speaker is doing, that would be the time to revisit the issue.
But you know what?
Jim Jordan is a fighter.
He's hard working.
He's got a great demeanor about him.
I think it'll work well.
Uh we're at 200.
If you take away the votes that went to Scalise and the votes that went to McCarthy and the votes that the three votes to Lee Zeldon, guess what?
We're right at the magic number.
We win.
And then we have a speaker, then we open the house and we get back to the business of working for the American people.
That's what I'd like to see happen.
I totally agree with you on that.
And there's not going to be the perfect speaker.
They I mean, and that's where we come with compromise, you know.
We have to make everybody can't get everything they want all the time.
So we make a few compromises, and as you said, if you don't if after this is gone through, then they can r elect somebody new.
But some of these people that have made this decision to balk this, they need to be answering for what they've caused because it's a big mess, and I hope that their constituents vote them out.
We'll see what happens over time.
You know, memories of people are short.
Look, in the end, uh if we resolve this today or tomorrow, I I think people's memories would fade on the issue, especially if they start really getting the work done and and fulfilling their promises.
But they gotta get back to work.
I mean, uh, my patience is is thin.
I've had it.
I'm ready for a new speaker.
It's time to get back to the people the to working for we, the people.
They are public servants.
They work for you.
They work for us.
Anyway, good call, Don.
Appreciate you checking in.
Uh Shannon in Missouri next.
Hey Shannon, how are you?
Glad you called.
Hey, thank you.
All I want to say is that I believe the behavior of the Republicans will actually push people out of this party if they don't stop.
Everyone's watching, and they're making a mockery of all of us.
They have a job to do, just like he said, and they can't even work together to accomplish a goal.
That's as that's what we see in the Democrat Party.
We need our party to stand up and do what's right.
Uh quit pushing people away.
People are watching.
We need the job done.
And I don't want to lose members of our own party because they're like, you know what, uh, we're over this.
This is ridiculous.
And that's why that's why the band aid solution of, oh, we'll empower somebody for three months.
That's completely unacceptable to me.
As is the solution of that some Republicans are threatening to work with Hakeem Jeffries.
Okay, at that point, you might as well say, uh, we're going to be the minority party, because the consequences will be severe if they're that stupid.
If they can't get their act together and work together and pull in the same direction, and and just stick to the eighty twenty, ninety ten issue.
Stick to securing our border, stick to energy independence, stick to fiscal responsibility.
You know, stick to standing by Israel, uh as they may now be fighting a two-front war.
You know, s stick to bread and butter issues that all of them agree on, and if they did just that job, they'd be deemed successful together.
They win together or they lose together.
It's not w you know, one group of Republicans will be the winners and one group will be the losers.
They'll either all win or they're all lose.
But it's time to act.
The er I I don't know why they don't feel the urgency.
I really don't.
Anyway, I appreciate the call.
800 941 Sean is our number if you want to be a part of the program.
Uh okay, let's head to the Bronx in New York.
Maria, how are you?
By the way, my mom grew up in the South Bronx of New York.
My dad, Bed Steyr in Brooklyn.
How are you?
I'm great.
I enjoy you every night and they watch you every night.
I have to say one thing.
Yes, ma'am.
Some these Republicans, they are weak Republicans.
They need to stick together.
I do not like Democrats.
I am a strong Republican and I love my party.
But these people should be ashamed of themselves.
The Democrats stick together no matter what.
And then they start falling apart.
We can thank Matt Gates for this because he started this mess.
I was very happy with with Kevin McCarthy.
I love Jim Jordan.
He's the man, and I want him to win.
So these people better get their heads out of wherever it is and think that our country is going down the toilet.
We're in so much trouble, And they have to fight among themselves.
Get it together, get a resolution, and help our country because we really need the help.
The borders I can't even think about these poor children in Israel.
It makes me sick what they do to them.
They need to get it together and get a speaker by today, Sean.
And I thank you so much for every night.
Watching you.
You're such an inspiration, and you tell the truth, and I look forward to it.
I've been watching you for two hours a night.
Can't get enough of you.
What can I tell you?
Well, I'm I'm always available to talk.
I apparently I never stop, but I will let me just echo one thing that you're saying that I think is very profound.
And Democrats, they circle the wagons.
Republicans, they create circular firing squads.
You know, I I I watch groups of people that I know, and you know, it's like uh uh it's like one group is super super duper whooper, you know, MAGA, and then another group is only super duper MAGA, and we out we're better, we're more MAGA than you're I'm like, oh my gosh.
It's like if they realized if they looked at the issues that they agreed on, the 90 10, 80 20 issues, they could get so much accomplished that would be such a uh a benefit for the country.
Anyway, I uh I appreciate you being with us.
Uh 800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
All right, Alan California.
Uh only have a little over a minute, Alan.
What's going on?
Yeah, I'm just curious.
Is there anything we can do like constitutionally to go around these people that aren't happening?
I mean, this is Nope.
