Bill O’Reilly, author of Killing the Legends: The Lethal Danger of Celebrity, has a new book out just yesterday, Killing the Witches, The Horror of Salem. Today he talks to us about the debates tonight and Sean’s moderation of a debate between Newsom and DeSantis. From Bill: We are now witnessing the rise of disorder in America, and it is hurting every single one of us. Unchecked immigration has led to chaos, unpunished crimes, fear, and higher costs for everything. It's creating massive economic anxiety. The President is diminished mentally and totally disinterested unless there is a racial component to be exploited.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Leonard Skinner's Simple Man, that only means one thing on this radio show, All Things Simple Man, which means all things Bill O'Reilly.
All things Bill O'Reilly at billo'reilly.com is a big day for Mr. O'Reilly.
On top of his, you know, series of killing books, which have sold more in terms of a series than any other book, I believe, in history.
You can correct me if I'm wrong.
He has now released the very latest, which is Killing the Witches, the horror of Salem, meaning the Salem Witch Trials.
Mr. Simple Man, Mr. O'Reilly, sir, how are you?
It's great to have you back.
Congratulations.
You would say it's a big day for any day I'm on the Hannity Radio Program.
It's a big day.
All right, now we know you woke up.
And, you know, by the way, it's not going to be a cupcake interview, O'Reilly.
It's not going to be a cupcake interview.
All right, before we get to Killing the Witches, I'll be honest, I learned a lot reading this book.
You know, the one thing I love about your books, I learn a lot, but I'm going to get to that in a second.
Debate tonight.
What do you think?
Okay, so you've got Trump way out in front, right?
That's where you start.
Right.
He haunts the whole dais because they know that it's almost impossible in this time in history to overcome that lead that Trump has because Trump's supporters in the Republican primaries are so loyal.
It's unlike most other elections whereby there were people, well, maybe this one, maybe that one.
Most of Trump's MAGA support will always vote for him no matter what.
And when you get the numbers at 59, 60%, how are the others going to overcome that?
The answer is, at this point, it's impossible.
At this point, I think you're right.
Now, there are so many unanswered questions how this is going to play out.
Joe, and I think you would agree, correct me if I'm wrong, is that I think I've exposed more than anybody else in media what a cognitive mess Joe Biden is.
And now what's happening, dominoes are starting to fall.
That's Maureen Dowd.
That's David Ignatius.
That's Liberal Joe.
That's Van Jones.
That's David Axelrod.
That's James Carville.
And now Bill Maher.
So, and if you listen to the comments of even Nancy Pelosi and James Clyburn, two very powerful Democrats, you see that even their support is very, very tepid.
So now, my prediction is if they ever start sounding like me on the Joe Biden bribery money laundering allegation scandal, then you'll know it's over for Joe.
What do you think the odds of that are?
Good.
So there's two ways this could go down.
The Lyndon Johnson way, where Biden would announce he's not going to run again because he's too old, he's having problems, or whatever the reason that Joe Biden comes up with, because she'd have to design that letter.
Or he resigns outright and lets Kamala Harris take over for a year or so to see if she can gain some traction.
Now, the Democrats don't know what to do, but the signal is going out from K Street and on billoreilly.com, the NOSPIN, it was re-reported last night, three major agencies, political action committees on K Street in Washington who are in charge of getting the messaging about Biden out to the media.
We named them.
Okay?
And what the messaging is now is wait, hold on.
But they know it's going to go south fast.
And here's the reason.
The Republican committees in the House have more on Biden than they have put out.
They are rationing it.
So yesterday it was a $250,000 wire transfer from a Chinese communist guy to Hunter Biden using Joe Biden's address in Delaware, his home.
And Comer, the head of the oversight committee, came out and said, this is another evidence, piece of evidence, that links President Biden to his son's grifting.
You're going to see 10 more of those.
Oh, Bill, it's even deeper than that.
I can confirm to Bill O'Reilly, add this to your investigative work, more whistleblowers have already come forward, have already testified that we don't know about yet.
Yes.
And that's all happening.
All right.
I don't want to belabor that point.
I tend to agree with you.
I think it's 50-50 at this point.
I really do.
And I think it could take on the scenario you laid out is very, very possible.
I think we can get to a convention, and at that point, it could happen there where Joe would bail out.
And then it would be a total, you know, Adam Schiff show.
It would be a free-for-all.
It'd be very entertaining as hell for us.
We'd love it.
All right.
I don't want to take too much time away from your book.
And I'll tell you why.
And I've become a, and I'll use the word.
I've become a fan of your killing series.
I'm waiting for the Killing Hannity version.
Maybe that's the next one.
Because they're just different than what I usually read in terms of political fare, stuff that we both have to read on a regular basis to be informed enough to be able to do what we do every day.
And this was very different to me.
It had a very different feel because we don't really think about the Salem Witch trials.
And when you then get into the history of it, you know, some of which I remembered, a lot of which I didn't even remember or think I know or knew.
But anyway, the book is called Killing the Witches, the Horror of Salem.
It's in bookstores now all around the country as of yesterday.
We have a link on Hannity.com, and there's one on Amazon.com.
And I will tell you, Mr. O'Reilly, I guess it's sounding like a cupcake interview, which I hate, but I really enjoyed the book and I learned a lot.
Why don't you lay out, give a foundation for it.
I appreciate the compliment.
I wrote the book because we're in a witch hunt today.
That's the bottom line.
That what happened in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692 is rehappening today in America.
They're not hanging people, but they're destroying people's lives in the canceled culture.
And I bookend it.
So we begin with the Mayflower, 100 Puritans and a few non-believers, but mostly Puritans, on a horrendous 66-day voyage from Plymouth, England to Cape Cod.
You don't want to be on that boat.
I put you on that boat.
But what these people went through is incredible.
We all think Pilgrims, Thanksgiving, passive stuffing.
No.
Then they get here, half of them die.
And the other half are yelling at each other about going to hell and really, really stringent religious doctrine.
And then some of them can't take it.
So Roger Williams goes to Providence and a bunch of them go up to Salem, north of Boston.
Boston didn't exist at that time.
And things get wildly out of control in Salem, and they start executing people off false accusations made by children.
Children drove these accusations.
And all of a sudden, people have ropes around their neck, and they're sitting on horses tied to a tree, and boom, they're dead.
And then the people in Salem who objected to this, who knew it was wrong, it was murder, if you said that out loud, you were accused of being a witch.
At one time, there were more than 200 people in jail in Boston and Salem, charged with witchcraft.
It is so horrendous.
And then Benjamin Franklin, a young teenager in Boston, gets onto this and carries what happened in Salem to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, which is an amazing story in itself.
And then I fast forward to modern times where we have no due process.
All accusations are convictions.
It was in Salem religious devil, that kind of stuff.
Now it's political ideology.
And I wrap the thing up by The Exorcist, the book and the movie.
It's a real case.
The demonic possession was what led to the execution of the witches in Salem, because that's what it is.
If you're a witch, you're in the league with the devil.
And then we get into current day possession stuff.
But the most important takeaway of killing the witches is that we are living in a country today.
And Donald Trump says this almost every single day.
I'm the victim of a witch hunt.
How many times has he said that?
But it's true.
And I'm not Trump's lawyers.
I'm not trying to justify anything he may or may not have done.
But they are trying to destroy him any way they can.
That is the definition of a witch hunt.
I think that's a great explanation.
It's kind of sad, Bill, because what you're describing is a country that is going to destroy itself from within.
All right, quick break.
More with Simple Man Bill O'Reilly.

We continue with Bill O'Reilly, author of his brand new book just released yesterday, Killing the Witches, The Horror of Salem, Amazon.com, Hannity.com, bookstores everywhere.
And he really does a great job of tying this book into the witch hunts of modern day.
And that's how divided we all are.
I don't know how, as a country, you reconcile those that want sanctuary states versus those that want secure borders.
How do you, how do you, where's the middle ground for people that believe in confiscatory taxation?
Here out in California, 13.5% state income tax, same thing in New York City in total with the state, with those that are making do with no state income tax.
Why are we having this mass migration?
How do you reconcile those that want to force electric vehicles and take away our stoves and refrigerators and air conditioners because of their climate alarmism versus those that want us to be the most energy-dominant, energy-rich country on the face of the earth?
I mean, I don't see a way to reconcile defund dismantle versus law and order.
How do you reconcile this, Bill?
Tell me where the middle ground is.
You've always prided yourself as being pretty independent.
I don't see a middle ground.
I see a wave of backlash against the progressive movement.
And it's driven by two things.
Number one, the economy.
People are suffering.
They go to the grocery store, the gas station, they pay insurance, way higher premiums.
Where do you see your utility bills this winter?
That's number one.
And number two is disorder.
We are living in a country of massive disorder.
That is.
Yeah, but it seems that they only care about disorder.
For example, they cared about January 6th.
I was on this radio show condemning it in real time.
I condemned it that night on TV in no uncertain terms, Bill.
That can't happen.
But I also condemn 574 riots in the summer of 2020.
We have all this video footage, thousands of injured cops, a couple of dozen dead Americans, billions of property damage.
We have all the evidence in the world to get the people involved.
There's no interest at all in that.
Why?
Because of the government.
And that's why I think there's going to be a backlash against the progressive government.
Joe Biden's the most progressive president in history by far.
He makes Obama look like Ronald Reagan.
That's how progressive Biden is, and he's a puppet of the progressive movement.
He does everything they want.
But now people with their own eyes are seeing mass looting in cities.
Philadelphia last night.
They're seeing 7 million people coming from foreign countries into the United States, and we, the taxpayer, have to support them.
These are things you can see with your eyes.
They're not theories.
And the backlash is growing against that.
So as a historian, I've seen the ebb and flow in this country ever since George Washington was in office.
And I am sensing, not in all places.
No, I just, in case there's any ambiguity, Bill was not alive when George Washington was president.
No, I was my parents me then, but I wasn't here.
But anyway.
No, but you're raising great points.
Listen, this is the thing.
It really does factor into modern day, and you do a great job of talking about, first of all, the history of this, which is amazing, and that is, you know, killing the witches, the horror of Salem, and how applicable it is today because it seems like, you know, half the country is out to destroy the other half of the country, and there's no holds barred.
And I'm all in favor of a good fight, Bill.
However, you know, at the end of the day, it was supposed to still be the United States of America, and I'm worried about it.
You've got to be some rules.
And in the witch trials in Salem, there were no rules.
You're accused.
Amazon.com, Hannity.com, and bookstores everywhere.
The latest, just released yesterday, the latest in Bill O'Reilly's killing series, Killing the Witches, the Horror of Salem, and how there's so many parallels to what's going on in the world today.
Mr. O'Reilly, sir, another great book.
We congratulate you, and thank you for being with us.
Thanks for helping me out, and thanks for reading Witches.
I appreciate it, Hannity.
We'll talk soon.
What are you eating, by the way?
Not in an outburger.
Definitely not that.
What do you mean, definitely not that?
It's the best burger ever made.
It's one of the best burgers.
Crown burgers right up there.
You guys ate this crap at what time?
We ate it.
Let's talk about it.
Let's really have a conversation.
Well, we were one of the first customers in the morning.
Yeah, you're a paleo guy, you know?
You're all about.
By the way, I got it in a lettuce wrap.
Oh, yeah?
Was the lettuce drenched in the oil from the frying pan?
No, no.
You obviously have never...
I don't.
Please, educate me.
It's like the cleanest, best place on earth to get a burger.
It's delicious.
Okay.
And it is a cut above most burger places.
You know how they make their potatoes?
I don't.
The french fries?
Yeah, tell me.
Unlike you, you know, air-frying your potatoes.
Even your own son sided with me.
What do you like better, Liam?
McDonald's french fries or that your mother prevented you from having for years because she wouldn't grant you a happy meal or do you like mommy's air-fried french fries?
Oh, no, McDonald's, McDonald's, sir.
So first of all, first of all, first of all, that's true.
It's actually not true.
I think I would basically peer-pressured him into saying that.
And he felt compelled to say it.
I peer-pressured him.
You're right there coaxing him and peer-pressuring him.
Between you and me standing in a room, you're louder.
And I'm very loud.
So, you know, you out loud me.
And poor Liam, you know, he's just confused.
He's not sure what to do.
He's got this giant man hovering over him, asking him incessantly about McDonald's french fries.
No, about happy meals that make children happy.
No, they don't.
They've clogged their arteries.
See, it's all about positioning, right?
So you could say a mostly peaceful protest, or you could say what's actually happening, like, yo, man, the whole city's on fire.
You people are blind, right?
That's what I'm saying.
So, you know, you don't say, do you want some McDonald's french fries?
You say, oh, would you like to eat this french fry that has so much oil on it, you won't be able to run for the rest of your life.
You'll be in a bed having cardiac arrest.
See?
It's a little different.
It feels different.
He's seven years old.
I'm not worried about his cholesterol levels.
I like to keep it real, you know.
That's how I do it.
Okay.
They give him real french fries.
Anyway, they actually make their own fries on the premises right out of great fresh Idaho potatoes.
I don't know where the potatoes are from, but they're fresh potatoes.
Most potatoes are from Idaho.
That's what I read.
Oh, my God.
That was so anyway.
And they literally will take the skin off him.
They have a machine to do that.
And then they slice them.
So is this going to be a franchise opportunity for you?
You seem to know a lot.
I tried.
They wouldn't, you know.
Why?
I don't know.
Because you're a conservative.
Well, my financial guys are like, okay, stay in your lane.
The food business, very small margins.
You got to really stay on top of it.
And they go, you don't exactly have time for the level of detail that's needed in that.
You could do it.
What does Chick-fil-A do?
They interview all their people, then they give their franchises out, and the franchises are, you know, hand-selected, each owner.
It's pretty interesting, I got to say.
Oh, yeah.
I think you'd be a good fast food owner.
All right, let's get to our phone.
Oh, you didn't like that?
Aside from eating all the food, you'd be fine.
That would be a problem.
I'm not going to doubt.
I'm not going to disagree.
Claudia is in Missouri.
What's up, Claudia?
How are you?
You know, it's funny because I had an aunt growing up that said Missouri.
Is it Missouri or Missouri?
It's Missouri.
But do you still have people calling it Missouri?
And Missouri.
It's not that bad.
You have two of the best senators in the country.
Yeah, I agree.
What's going on?
I'm going to watch this debate tonight because a question.
My grandson, all his life, wanted to follow in his mom's grandma's shoes and go to the military.
So he's in his AITs right now, and I don't understand.
Everybody's trying to protect overseas and all the sending things overseas, even to toilet paper they sent to Ukraine.
But do you know the military has to pay for their toilet paper, their cleaning supplies, their haircuts?
These are people that's protecting us, and we're not even protecting them.
Listen, I think you're making great points, and you should probably be up on the debate shit stage.
I think pretty much everyone on that stage tonight will agree with you, don't you?
I hope so, because we're protecting people we don't know.
We're letting people in here we don't know, but they're expecting our boys, which mind you, my greg has been in the military since he's senior, junior year summer of 18, and he is not even protected himself.
This is why Republicans in the House need not be afraid on the issue of fighting for money to secure our borders and stop this.
Frankly, it's a matter of national security and our financial security.
It's gotten so out of hand.
And then drugs are associated with human trafficking, drug trafficking.
American taxpayers putting the bill for 8 million people, food, water, shelter, health care, housing, what else?
Education for their kids.
And these kids are ending up in schools.
It's not like the schools are hiring all these bilingual teachers when a lot of these kids don't even speak English.
It's taking away in New York City, for example, they already have a failed public educational system.
Now they're going to take those limited resources already failing away from the kids that are citizens whose parents paid taxes and have been here and came here legally, and they're going to spend all this money on illegal immigrants and take those resources away.
And if you thought, you know, 40 percentile was bad, wait till it gets to five percentile in terms of proficiency reading and writing and math, like that we have the 13 high schools yet again in Baltimore.
Not a single kid proficient in math and reading.
Not one.
That's 13 high schools.
How do you fail on that level year in and year out?
It's a spectacular failure.
It's not just New York.
Missouri's failing.
They're all behind.
I mean, when you take writing out of your curriculum, FBS, because you got to still sign legal papers.
Why are you taking that out?
I mean, our kids are so far behind, and they wonder why they're doing the things they're doing.
I've never been embarrassed of America, but I am now.
Every time I see Joe open his mouth, I'm like bracing for the next embarrassing moment.
And by the way, he never fails.
He always delivers, and it's always bad, and it's getting worse.
You know, all of this cognitive decline, it's degenerative.
It's not going to get better.
It's only going to get worse, you know, which is why they've had to implement Operation Let's Keep Joe from Falling Down Again on His Face.
I mean, that just speaks volumes.
Let's say hi to Jackie in Missouri.
We'll stay in Missouri today.
What's up, Jackie?
How are you?
I'm good.
Thank you for taking my call, Mr. Hannity.
I really respect you, son.
I'm a black voter.
I am now voting for Trump.
I have an issue with the Biden administration with the cocaine issue.
You know, we had black guys that would be in a car and the cocaine to be found in the car and everybody saying it's not theirs.
And they still pinned it on everybody in the car.
Now, I have an issue with Hunter Biden not or nobody being accountable for the cocaine that was in the White House.
So we see that there's two sides of two different justices.
We've been known this.
But now that Donald Trump has his issues with this judicial system, I think that he's going to get it right.
He's going to do a hell of a reform and he's going to get it right.
But I just don't understand the Biden administration.
I just think that, you know, this cocaine issue was just swept under the rug.
And here we have a lot of black men, young men that were incarcerated for powder, cocaine, whatever one.
And to me, somebody needs to be accountable for their cocaine in the White House.
You know, it's amazing.
They found fingerprints on the envelopes handed to Senator Menendez.
But after a long, exhaustive 10-day investigation, they still said, well, you know, there's no evidence linking the cocaine in the White House.
It could have easily been fentanyl.
It could have easily have been a bag of anthrax.
You know, they just ended the investigation in 10 days.
You know, let's not talk to the guy that we know that was addicted to cocaine, crack cocaine.
Let's not talk to him.
And apparently, according to logs, I believe some have said, I've not confirmed, that Hunter Biden was there during that time period.
Huh.
That would probably make him a suspect, wouldn't it?
If we lived in the right world.
I love you, Mr. Hannity.
You are awesome.
Exactly.
I mean, it's just.
Wow, you're making my day.
Keep going.
You know, it's just that simple, sir.
And I just feel like, you know, with us seeing all this, and at first I didn't have a dog in the fight.
I didn't know if I was going to vote or not.
I'm independent.
But just watching this debacle with how they're doing, Mr. Trump, I think it's just ridiculous.
And what they fail to realize is it's a lot of us blacks that are now going to vote for Mr. Trump because we see that they're being very unfair to him, too.
It doesn't matter what color you are when you're being treated unfair and your freedom is at stake.
That doesn't matter.
We just see that, you know, they're treating this man.
They've never given him a chance.
And again, I like Donald Trump.
My family thinks I'm losing it, but I listen to the man.
I have my own way of thinking.
And so therefore, I'm going to do everything I can to help him get back in the White House.
Well, it's going to be interesting.
You know, one of the things I'm asking people, do you think he was treated unfairly?
Yeah.
You know, there are people that say, well, you know, he may not be able to win because he's got these trials and allegations and, you know, horrible venues and he's likely going to be convicted.
And what does that mean for the election?
And I'll ask, well, do you think he's been treated unfairly?
Do you think this is a political persecution?
Getting back to O'Reilly's book.
And they all say yes.
And I'm like, why are you going to, if you believe that's the case, why would you penalize him for that?
I mean, this is an opportunity to do just the opposite is not let them, you know, just dissuade you from going the way you want to go in terms of how you want to vote.
It's unreal.
Anyway, God bless you.
Thank you so much, Jackie.
We appreciate you being with us.
All right, quick break right back to our phones.
Toll-free.
Our number is 800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Also, Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas at the top of the hour as we continue.
Exposing terrorism and supporting America's freedom.
All right, let's get back to our busy phones.
800-941-Sean is our number.
George, Long Island, New York, holding down the fort while I'm away.
What's up, George?
How are you, sir?
I'm fine, Mr. Hannity.
I'm calling for two reasons.
I'm not going to watch the debates because I feel like, well, everybody in the debate should be backing up Trump.
So it's Trump all the way.
So they're going to do it.
Number two, I'm calling.
I have an analysis.
If you've made up your mind, I'm totally fine with that.
According to polls, most people have.
However, I think there's a huge opportunity.
I want to see what the future Republican Party is going to look like.
Understood.
I mean, let's assume Donald Trump wins.
He gets one shot.
Four years from now, we're going to be right back at this.
And that four years is going to go by fast, I promise you.
The point I'm saying is they should all back him up so he's definitely, absolutely a candidate.
No, they're not going to do that.
I mean, for whatever reason, some of them think that they would be a better candidate, and they'll make their case.
And so far, it's not had an impact on the polls.
If anything, I think Trump's gone higher.
I want to add to it.
I have an analysis.
I believe that Kamala Harris is going to resign.
Joe Biden is going to select the VP and it's going to be Hillary Clinton.
And then somewhere Joe Biden gets ousted or sick or whatever, and Hillary Clinton will be president for a few months.
I hope not.
I'm just looking at it strategically.
And then it will be Hillary Clinton in the VT with Trump and his VC in a November 24th election.
Certainly a scenario under which Joe Biden is not the Democratic nominee.
That is a real possibility.
And let me tell you something else.
You want to tell me something else?
I think George has a very good idea there.
And let me tell George why.
Because no other two women in the whole world can have a worse laugh than these two women.
You got cackle one and cackle two.
I find both of their laughs.
We actually have audio of both of them laughing.
Let's see if you can guess who is who.
Let's play Kamala laughing and let's play Hillary laughing.
Slow down, everybody.
More parents are seeing the value of educators when they had to bring their kids.
Oh, Hillary's is pretty bad, too.
They do have the worst laughs.
I'm telling you, I'm not wrong.
George is on to something.
Anyway, 800-941-Sean is our number if you want to be a part of the program.
Anyway, Natalie found out she was pregnant.
Okay.
Her initial reaction was fear and anger, especially for young kids.
That is often the reaction.
She didn't think that she can go through with her pregnancy.
She had even gone as far as to decide on abortion.
Anyway, by the grace of God, her partner's family was praying and they went to a pre-born network clinic.
That's where they offer any expecting mom free 4D ultrasound.
I've always said abortion is a heart issue.
It honestly, you change people's hearts.
And here's how it works.
Through the science of 4D ultrasound, when moms are introduced to what's growing inside them, the miracle of birth, and they hear a heartbeat and they can count fingers and toes and they can see facial features.
You know what?
Their heart changes.
And, you know, people, you know, in bigger and bigger numbers say, you know what?
I've got to follow through and put a great value on this.
And, you know, the other thing is most of these kids, like with your ultrasound machines, they've never even seen their baby.
They have no idea it's a life.
They've never seen a heartbeat.
So people like you and these donations from our audience, it makes a huge difference and it enables people to choose life.
They need it.
They only rely on your donations.
Unlike Planned Parenthood, they don't get a penny from the federal government.
Every free 4D ultrasound is $28.
And they also offer counseling services.
And when the baby's born, if you need help with diapers, a baby formula, whatever it happens to be, they're there for all these moms and expecting moms.
Anyway, just dial pound250, say the keyword baby.
I just bought them two ultrasound machines, 4D ultrasound machines.
I'm going to buy another one soon.
I think they have a new facility that needs one.
Pound250, whatever you can donate, keyword baby, or just go to their website.
It's preborn.com slash Sean S-E-A-N.
All gifts tax deductible.
And 100% of your donation goes towards the cause.
