Sean Hennery, the new Sean Hannity Show.
More behind the scenes information on breaking news and more bold, inspired solutions for America.
Welcome back to the Sean Hannity Show.
This is Jordan Seculo.
I'm co-hosting my dad, Jay Secchio, of course, both of us with the ACLJ.
And our new guest of this part of the broadcast, Rick Riddell, also part of the team at the American Center for Law and Justice.
Before Jordan, the ACLJ has had a career, spent 10 years at the United Nations as the chief spokesperson for the U.S., spent his time as acting director of national intelligence and the U.S. ambassador to Germany.
So when we talk about all of these issues that are facing our country, whether it is overseas or whether it's attacks at home, Rick is truly an expert.
And for us at the ACLJ, he's our senior analyst for foreign and national security issues.
It's great to have Rick on the show today.
So Rick, you know, we just had on President Trump and had a good discussion.
And ABC's news reporting that Steve Sadow, who is a very good friend of mine, who's representing President Trump in New York, excuse me, in Georgia, is opposing the request of the DA to try to try all 19 of these people at one time, which is a joke, by the way.
I mean, it's ridiculous.
But, you know, we talk about a two-tiered system of justice.
We talk about a weaponized Department of Justice.
We talk about weaponized DAs.
I went to the Supreme Court of the United States.
I want us to find this bite and send it up to Linda.
The first line I said when I argued for President Trump in the Supreme Court of the United States is that we're going to have 2,300 district attorneys weaponized to go after a president.
And Rick, it is precisely what has happened.
Well, not only has it happened, but the reality is they promised that it would happen.
We have politicians who ran and said, I'm going to get Trump.
And so now what has happened is politically they're trying to get Trump.
Look, just look at the 91 charges.
Every time they charge the president with something else, the former president, they immediately prove to soccer moms, independents, people who are not generally supportive of conservatives, they prove to this group, these groups, that all of this is political.
No one believes that Donald Trump should be charged with 91 charges.
It is overboard.
They've overreached.
And now I'm of the mind that the more they do, the more they're telling the message that we have a two-tiered justice system.
We're seeing the two-tier justice system play out in real time.
I mean, you've got a federal judge in Washington sets the trial to begin on this huge two and a half year investigation on January 6th and happens to start at the date before Super Tuesday.
I mean, as if the American people are oblivious to this.
You know, and they're complaining about election interference.
So you got the leading candidate for the Republican nomination who's being told, oh, by the way, the day before Super Tuesday, you're going to be in trial.
So you can forget going out and campaigning, which I'm sure Donald Trump will anyways.
He'll pill campaign.
But it shows you that to me is the election interference.
And they've weaponized the legal system.
They've criminalized the practice of law.
And Jordan, you know, when I think about it, you said this early on.
They think they can get away with it.
Yeah, they do think they can get away with it.
And they're not afraid of being caught anymore.
So to them, it's not being caught.
It's just business as usual.
And they think that the American people and their supporters will just accept that.
The problem is, Rick, if this becomes business as usual, this is not the United States anymore.
This is not the country that we fought so hard to preserve these important rights and liberties.
Look, I think that they are getting away with it because this fourth estate, this media journalistic idea, has collapsed.
We used to have a system where the media would push back on crazy ideas of adding Supreme Court justices just because you're losing at the Supreme Court or adding new states because you need more votes in the Senate.
I mean, this is a total manipulation.
As you know, I spent 12 years at the State Department and I participated in the State Department report called the Human Rights Report, where we call out other governments who have dictatorial attitudes where they control the media, they imprison their political opponents.
We've always called them out.
We have a Secretary of State right now, Anthony Blink, who literally the month before the 2020 election completely interfered with the election by pushing fake news and finding 51 individuals to sign a letter saying don't look at that laptop from Hunter Biden because that could be Russian disinformation.
Now, the people who loved that not only were the Biden campaign, but the Communist Party of China.
Every time you say Russia, Russia, Russia, look at Russia, look over there at Russia, the Chinese are applauding because on that laptop was evidence of the Biden family and communist Chinese officials.
You are 100% correct on that.
And you've talked about the threat from China, but what is so I think mind-numbing in this context is, and we saw this in our representation of the former president, and that is you had an investigative team put together through the Department of Justice, through James Comey leaking his memo to his friend, and then he gets appointed as special counsel, which I thought was absurd.
By the way, I don't like any of these special counsels.
I don't like it when Republicans appoint them.
I don't like it when Democrats appoint them.
I think it's ridiculous.
If the Department of Justice can't bring the case, then don't bring the case.
But they bring a special counsel.
And the head of the counterintelligence out of the New York office of the Department of Justice, FBI, was on the Mueller team investigating Donald Trump and his colleagues for collusion with Russia.
He has just pled guilty, this individual FBI agent, to a felony of being on the payroll of a Russian oligarch while all this was going on.
Now, Rick, you are the director of national intelligence.
You really can't make this stuff up.
No, and it's, again, we just have to go back to the total frustration because in the old days, they wouldn't have been able to get away with this because the Washington Post and the New York Times and the Associated Press would all immediately push back, mock them, show how they're un-American for doing this.
And now we have a system where they're literally being applauded.
They're the cheerleaders in Washington, D.C.
But, you know, I think what's happening across this country is people are realizing that that entire Washington, D.C. system of media and lobbyists and people who live there, the rest of America, we have to stop asking those people in Washington, D.C. to reform themselves.
They are never going to reform themselves.
They all go to church together.
They go to school together.
They are never going to find a way to advocate for smaller budgets and less power in Washington, D.C.
They love the system.
It's working for them.
The rest of us have to stop pretending like they are ever going to change.
We need to send our own people there to change that place, people who want to only be there temporarily, who have a sports team other than a Washington sports team.
Their sports team is back home where they are from.
We want people to go to Washington, D.C. temporarily, not have five generations of people who will work and protect and expand the power of Washington, D.C. You know, Rick, I went to the Supreme Court four times on behalf of President Trump while he was president.
And in that, one of the arguments I made to the Supreme Court of the United States was a local district attorney, Cy Vance, going after then the sitting president of the United States.
And I'm not saying that I was a prophet, but I said that the 2,300 local DAs, that's how many there are, they are elected, and that they've been weaponized or could be weaponized.
And this is precisely what happened.
Is that bite ready to go?
Linda, I want to play, this is, I want to take people inside the Supreme Court, except it was during COVID.
So you did it, the argument, Jordan was remote, but it was from this very in this room where we're coming to you now.
We had a podium set up.
Jordan and I were in our suits.
We stood up.
This was my opening line at the Supreme Court of the United States defending the former president.
The Second Circuit is wrong.
It should be reversed.
If not reversed, the decision weaponizes 2,300 local DAs.
An overwhelming number of them are elected to office and are thereby accountable to their local constituencies.
The decision would allow any DA to harass, distract, and interfere with the sitting president, subjects the president to local prejudice that can influence prosecutorial decisions and to state grand juries who can then be utilized to issue compulsory criminal process in the form of subpoenas targeting the president.
This is not mere speculation.
It is precisely what has taken place in this case.
And, you know, Rick, just today, President Trump released a video about Atlanta and about the DA called Make Atlanta Great Again and about the rising crime we've seen in cities where these radical DAs who are so focused on politics and President Trump and President Trump's allies and bringing political prosecutions instead of cleaning up the violent crime that is making their cities impossible to live in, difficult to live in.
They are losing people.
People don't want to go there.
People are afraid when they go on these streets.
And it is these DAs' responsibility is to actually combat crime in their community.
But they have now, like you predicted in the Supreme Court case, Dad, Rick, they have now turned their attention on, well, I'm an elected DA, and so I'm going to use this office to move up inside the Democrat Party.
So I'm going to target Republican leaders.
And let's start with President Trump and about as anybody we can charge who was affiliated with him.
Yeah, it's truly outrageous, the warning that Jay gave.
I think we all should have jumped on immediately.
But again, I can't go without saying that the reason they're getting away with it is because no one in Washington is pushing back.
We do not have a media system.
Reporters are not able to blunt them and stop them.
And so what does that mean for the rest of us?
If you're listening to this broadcast, it means you have a responsibility.
You've got to speak up.
You've got to get involved in different organizations.
You might have to give $10 a month to somebody.
You have to share this on social media.
And I personally believe you've got to get on your knees and start praying a little bit harder.
You know, we have actually issued this month at the American Center for Law and Justice.
We've never done this before, Rick.
And ACL, you know this because you've been on the broadcast, of course, and you're part of our team, an ACLJ prayer guide.
You know, 35,000 people, probably close to 40,000 people have that now.
And all you do is go over to aclj.org slash pray, and you download it for free.
And we encourage you to do it.
It lets you encourage you to pray for our nation, pray for our leaders, pray for specific cases we're at.
And as I said, we're in a Life and Liberty midnight drive.
It ends tonight.
And your support of that, folks, is tax deductible to the ACLJ.
It allows us to fight this administration, allows us to fight the deep state.
But we are also engaged in defending our constitutional republic.
I encourage you to go to aclj.org, support us with your gift at the Life and Liberty Drive, but also get that prayer guide.
Last thing, Rick, and that is as we see the progression now of the campaign.
I mean, we're getting it to where it's real season.
I mean, after the holiday next week, we're in full-blown season.
How do you see things playing out right now?
Well, look, I'm outside of Washington.
I travel in regular America.
And I have to say, I'm so encouraged because when I talk to first and second generation Americans, new Americans, they are total Trump fans.
They see very clearly what's happening to this country because they left totalitarianism.
They left fascism.
They're like the canaries in the coal mine.
I'll say it.
Our problem that we have in America are fourth and fifth generation white liberals who don't travel enough.
And we've sat on the sidelines as they've taught our kids to hate America.
We have a responsibility to push back against them.
First and second generation Americans are leading the way.
They're telling the great stories of America.
They want to protect the American dream because that's what they fought for.
That's why they're here is to live the American dream.
And we need to remind Americans that the American dream is still alive and that it is not going to be overtaken by this woke culture.
We're going to push back.
And I'm super encouraged when I see independents who say, you know what?
I haven't voted for a Republican before, but I see what's happening in Washington.
I see what's happening in my schools.
I see what's happening at the border.
I see what's happening at the grocery store.
And Rick, this is exactly why the ACLJ exists, as you know.
And in the next segment, I'm going to talk about some of those very key school cases you mentioned.
Because some of the stuff happening in the schools right now, folks, is just absolutely outrageous.
Rick, thanks for being with us.
We're encouraging people to support the work of the ACLJ.
And Rick, we're glad you're part of the team.
Thank you so much.
Very good.
All right, folks, we're taking a break.
We come back.
When we come back from this break, though, I am going to give a little bit of a breakdown of a couple of these school cases we have, folks.
I mean, they're unbelievable.
You cannot believe what American students are having to deal with.
More on the Sean Hannity Show when we come back.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hammond.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started Normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass, you're our kind of people.
Catch new episodes of Normally every Tuesday and Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen.

Hey, welcome back to the Sean Hannity Show.
By the way, that tune, which is a famous Marshall Tucker band tune you heard just there at the bumper, is from the J Secular Band concert tonight, 8 o'clock Eastern Time live.
Anywhere you watch on Rumble, on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, or aclj.org.
Also, folks, don't forget we've got a lot more program coming up, but we are in our life and liberty drive, and it ends at midnight tonight.
ACLJ is a nonprofit organization.
If you want to defeat the Biden corruption, we've got 16 lawsuits against the Biden administration right now.
If you want to stand with Israel, we have an office in Jerusalem.
If you want to defend the unborn, we're at the Supreme Court of the United States on that today.
If you want to defeat the attacks on religious liberty, and when I talk about those coming up, folks, it's mind-numbing.
That's what we do.
And we're defending these whistleblowers.
They need our help.
They need us.
We need you.
I want to encourage you to become part of the ACLJ team by standing with us right now.
You go to aclj.org.
And as I said, we are in a life and liberty drive.
And this is the last day of that drive.
Meaning at the end of tonight at midnight, it's over.
But any amount you donate is tax deductible and we get a matching gift.
Yeah, that's right.
We really want you to go to aclj.org.
Be a part of our organization.
Be a part of our work and join the life and liberty drive.
We've got right now 16 lawsuits right now against the Biden administration.
That number grows by the day.
We're representing whistleblowers who are shedding the truth.
Go to aclj.org and be part of the life and liberty drive.
We've got a lot more on the Sean Hannity show coming up right after this.
Hey, it's Jay Secular and Jordan Secular In for Sean Hannity at Music You Heard.
Another one by the Jay Secular Band.
And tonight, 8 o'clock Eastern Time, I encourage you to do this, folks.
Go over to aclj.org or ACLJ on Facebook or YouTube or Rumble on Twitter, and you're going to see a live two-hour concert.
And that tune that you just heard is one of the ones we're going to be playing tonight.
So we encourage you to do that.
That's as we celebrate the end of our Life and Liberty Drive, which ends tonight again at midnight.
So aclj.org, if you want to participate in that.
We are joined now by Congresswoman Claudia Tinney, a great friend of ours at the ACLJ and of the Hannity Broadcast.
She represents New York's 24th Congressional District.
She also serves on the Ways and Means Committee.
And one issue she has been very concerned about, we're all concerned about, is illegal immigration.
We are seeing massive numbers.
On Tuesday, more than double the average of daily crossings.
7,000 migrants who were illegally crossed, illegally crossed.
7,000 were apprehended.
That is double the average daily crossings compared to early June after the expiration of Title 42.
And Congresswoman Tinney, it's not just affecting Texas and those southern border states.
It's affecting your district in upstate New York.
Absolutely.
Well, people don't realize that New York has a huge border with Canada.
And although they're our greatest trading partner, wonderful ally, there are issues where the cartels have become very clever.
They actually know how to create passports.
And there is now a passport you can get in Mexico.
You can fly to Canada.
When you get to Canada, there's no visa requirement because of a deal between Mexico and Canada.
And you can get to the border, and a cartel person will meet you, get you into New York State.
Kathy Hochl has greenlighted the idea of giving everyone who comes into the state, illegal or not, a driver's license.
They also get the option to vote, by the way.
They can register to vote on their honor.
And off they go, and the cartels can bring them in.
They can put them in a car driving fentanyl, other illicit drugs.
They could be human trafficking, any of those things.
And they can pass right through to New York to anywhere in the country with a valid New York State driver's license, which can be used in all kinds of scenarios to make it difficult for police, law enforcement, border agents, everyone to track them.
And I learned this going to the northern border.
We have problems up there because of the squeeze at the southern border.
They found another route to come through the northern border.
And it's tragic in so many ways.
It's tragic for the American citizens, our taxpayers, people who have to pay for these people who are either being trafficked or they're coming here to cause harm, to take advantage of our system, to take advantage of criminal ideologies that they get into, whether they've got some kind of trafficking problem or program with humans, anything else you can imagine, identity theft, you name it, stealing anything that we have so precious little of now in New York State.
So it's a huge problem, and that's why I called for Maorca's to be impeached, Biden to be impeached on this issue, but so many others as well that just keep piling up.
I hope we get to those impeachment proceedings soon.
But this is not going away until the Biden administration acts, reinstates some of the policies from President Trump.
And when Kathy Hochl and Mayor Adams from New York City stop keeping up with sanctuary policies, stop taking taxpayer money away and funding these people coming into our country and into the state and housing them at our expense while upstate New York struggles and suffers to it's it's destroying New York City.
I mean, this is the problem.
New York too.
Yeah, and the rest of New York, for that matter, because every city's in sanctuary, well, not every city's not willing to be a sanctuary city, but that's what they're becoming.
You mentioned the border, and I have to say something, Congresswoman.
We filed a lawsuit in federal court against the Department of Homeland Security, against DOJ and the State Department, because Customs and Border Patrol announced about a year and a half ago, two years ago, that they had apprehended two individuals, Yemeni individuals that came into the United States illegally.
They were on the terror watch list.
And as soon as they put it out, as soon as Customs and Borders Patrol, which was a great thing, that they caught them, they got them, they apprehended them, they had to take down the press release.
Then we find out that smugglers, this is this week, with ties to ISIS, help migrants enter U.S., the United States from Mexico.
And these are people affiliated, Congresswoman, with ISIS.
Yes, weren't they Uzbek nationals who had some, were seeking some kind of asylum claim and let them in here, right?
Yeah, it's insane.
And why are we doing this?
Why is this okay?
Finally, the American people are starting to stand up.
But this is my big concern: you have an 82% of a two-to-one Democratic state.
That's New York, two-to-one Democrat registration enrollment.
Very liberal state, one of the bluest of blue states.
82% of people polled consistently now are against the migrant crisis, the way that Governor Hochul and Mayor Adams are handling it.
You know, one hand's pointing at the other.
They're pointing at Biden.
They're pointing past each other.
And meanwhile, who's paying for it?
The American people, and especially New Yorkers, are paying for it.
They're being displaced from their own homes, or their own, and I don't want to say homes, I mean some of the veterans, the spaces we have reserved for veterans and other homeless people.
They could be people that have lost their jobs because of COVID, people who have psychiatric issues have been left out, have nowhere to go because Cuomo emptied out all the psychiatric centers in upstate New York, which means that we have people who are a danger to themselves and others in many cases are out roaming the streets.
We have people who have been charged with sex trafficking who are out on the streets.
People who were let go during COVID who are out on the streets.
And now they're looking for homeless access to homelessness.
facilities.
They're getting it.
Now we have to displace students out of college dorms so that we can keep these homeless people in there.
They're refusing to leave.
Now they're having to evict them.
Guess what we found out?
Mark Polencars, who's the county executive in Erie County, took in all these migrants, called anyone that challenged this policy bigoted, by the way.
Now he's going back and saying, oh, we can't do this.
This is a mistake because now there's incidents of rape and sex abuse with many of these migrants.
They won't leave the dormitory so the students can go back to school at these state university of New York schools.
This is a disaster, but why don't the Democrats fix it?
I can't come up with a reason why they don't fix it other than they're just incapable of it or they're just, you know, they just don't want to.
They want to somehow get these people registered to vote so they can distort another election.
You know, Congresswoman Tinney, I think how dangerous that is because Republican or Democrat, we see how many Americans have died because of fentanyl alone.
And that, again, because of our poorest borders, is flowing into the country.
It kills teenagers.
It kills adults.
It is in drugs that people don't even know it's in.
And again, it could be a 15-year-old thinking they're taking some other drug and there's a little bit of fentanyl in there and they're dead.
And that's because of our poor southern border.
It's like, take the politics out.
Take the, you know, we're trying to get the Hispanic vote out of it, this idea that Democrats think long-term they'll get a voter registration.
So many Americans are dying because this administration refuses to put the assets necessary to secure the border the best they can.
Well, yeah, all while they're trying to, of course, increase the number of people we have working at the IRS, 87,000 plus billions of dollars, which is why I actually put in the DIRECT Act.
It's a bill that would actually divert that money to the southern border and ultimately the northern borders.
We have to just secure our borders.
We cannot have these poorest borders.
It's an insult to our taxpayers and the people that are here.
The idea of being an American, you know, the citizenship should have value.
It shouldn't be undermined by this process.
And the Democrats appear to not value citizenship.
You know, there are responsibilities with citizenship, and there are also benefits.
Why aren't these people being forced to have obligations?
Why are they getting to come into our country illegally?
I mean, look, I am totally sympathetic to people who are seeking asylum, but there's so few of those.
I'm sympathetic to people coming from horrible countries around the world that want to seek a better way.
There are legal ways to come to this country.
There are jobs available.
Why are you doing it illegally?
The only excuse people have is they could be being trafficked.
But yet why are we allowing that?
We have the resources, although they're becoming scarce because the border agents are overwhelmed, that these people are coming across.
We could stop this.
We could stop the flow of fentanyl.
But they don't seem to want to do that.
I don't understand.
I honestly am at my wit's end why they're not.
It's reached such a disastrous level.
And when you see this happening in a state like New York, so far from the southern border, when you see the cartels taking advantage of the northern border and the people that have left the northern border and have been directed to the southern border so they see the gap where they can get people through, people died earlier this year, right after I left meeting with the border agents, a group of family died in a marsh trying to wait for the cartel to get them across the border.
It's totally unfair to everyone on every side.
You know, other countries don't do this.
Other countries limit their migration.
It's very hard to be a citizen of another country because they value citizenship and they value what their citizens can do and then people believe in what they're coming here for.
Because Congresswoman, other countries actually have borders.
I mean, this is we're like we're living in fantasy island with not only poorest borders, it's like, you know, let them all come.
And I'm the grandson of a Russian immigrant.
So I appreciate, but my grandfather went through Ellis Island and did it the legal way.
You know, you mentioned briefly, and I do think this is the indoctrination of what's taking place also in the schools is impacting this for another generation.
The communists used to say, if we can get the young people in school, we will own the next generation.
And that is proving also, Congresswoman, to be very, very true.
Yes, I think that's sad but true.
But look, I'm the granddaughter of immigrants as well.
So are so many of us.
But that was what was so great about our country.
You could come here in an orderly way.
Oh, by the way, you were quarantined to make sure you didn't have any dangerous diseases.
You were never allowed in the country with any kind of drugs or connections.
Those things weren't cooked up.
But we've created an entire industry on our border.
And I wonder who's benefiting.
You know, honestly, I try to figure out what the Democrats can possibly be doing.
One tiny slice of this is when I went to the border at both places, we are using, we need to supply resources to these people, whether it's food, clothes.
We don't need to, but we are because of the Democrats' policies.
That is maybe some of the, there's some big Democratic suppliers getting a lot of money off the border, you know, creating the shelters, doing all that.
But I know some of my friends who are even Republicans who have been asked to bid on some of these new shelters we're creating.
We're taking over old military bases.
Why are we doing this?
What good does it do?
How does it protect our country?
How does it protect our wealth?
How does it protect our citizens and make us strong as we move into a very complicated and difficult world where we have major adversaries like China arising and a war in Europe?
I just don't understand what the mission is for the Democrats.
Other than I hate to take the cynical view, maybe they just want to register voters so they can make sure that Donald Trump doesn't become president again.
Well, we had Donald Trump on in the beginning of the broadcast, and I'll tell you one thing: the fight is in him.
That is for sure.
I'm going to play for you.
Let me play the soundbite from President Trump, number one.
Because number one, I'm running, and number two, I'm leading by a lot, including Biden.
We just had a poll come out.
We're leading him by 10 points in one poll, which who wouldn't lead him?
I think a child would be leading him.
He's so bad.
He's the worst president we've ever had.
He's the most corrupt president.
And, you know, when you mentioned the four indictments, they're Biden indictments.
They're not indictments.
They have Biden indictments.
We only got a minute here, Congresswoman, but it has made our country look so bad with these prosecutions.
Honestly, our people who are abroad, they don't respect that our system is falling apart.
They used to look to us.
And honestly, I look at President Trump, and I was on the Foreign Affairs Committee.
I'd love to get back to it.
I can't tell you how many foreign ambassadors and others that never got the opportunity to meet Donald Trump asked me confidentially, do you think you can have a way that I could meet Donald Trump?
We like that he's strong.
And a lot of them have said, even though you'll hear the Democrats in our State Department, you know, talk about how terrible he is, I really do think he was one of the best modern leaders in our era, not just the best president of the United States, especially for a four-year term in the modern era, but one of the best world leaders.
Look what he did for our world in just four years while under totally reshaped the Middle East.
Total reshaping of the Middle East.
They've been trying to do it since Eisenhower and Truman and Donald Trump accomplished something that no other president accomplished.
