We'll get to more of your calls coming up this hour for sure.
You know, it's kind of amazing...
Most of you know that I'm a big music lover.
I love contemporary Christian music.
I love country music.
Country has been a staple favorite of mine for decades.
And I just love it.
Have for a long long time.
And what's amazing is now how country music is gotten right into the heart of and the and the nerve center of a cultural war that's been going on in the country and all things woke.
And you know, you say go w if you go woke, you go broke.
Well, we have example after example, you know.
Talk to Bud Light about how that Dylan O'Veaney campaign worked out for them, or talk to Target, their reading recent um earnings call did not go particularly well.
Uh because they too have gone woke as and so has many other places.
Even Skittles now is under fire, the candy, which I haven't had in years and years, but um it's just fascinating what's happening, how people have gravitated to music and music that has a message is now more popular than it's ever been.
I mean, maybe maybe it's I can liken it to uh any other time in in history that I can think of where music impacted the culture this way is maybe in the 1960s.
Um but anyway, you know it's uh I'll I'll get to these other songs.
We have try that in a small town.
We saw the controversy of Jason Aldean.
Yeah.
That controversy, what did it do?
It rocketed try that in a small town to number one all over the country, the number one song in the country.
Uh you've had now in the last couple of weeks this incredible new song.
I'd never heard of Oliver Oliver Anthony Net before.
Uh now he's got a fan in Sean Hannity with the release of his Rich Men North of Richmond.
We'll tell we'll talk about that story in a minute.
Uh we'll also talk to our friend John Rich.
Uh he's got a whole new uh complete album out on a lot of this with songs like Progress and Shut Up About Politics and Earth to God, which you know I love.
Uh a dime ain't worth a nickel.
If you haven't seen seen the video, Earth to God, you gotta see it.
It's so good.
Um and anyway, uh the latest song that's pissing off the left apparently is I'm offended.
Well, too bad.
Nobody's forcing you to watch a TV show, listen to a radio show, or listen to a song.
But I think you in my audience are gonna love this song.
Take a listen.
It seems like these days, no matter what you say, someone's losing their ever loving mind.
It's like the looking for a reason.
To have the fragile feelings hurt every single time.
My country trip.
I guess it up.
You got your fancy pistol hook up to a flow.
I know you're mad.
You think I'm bad?
Cause I'm breathing three blast, and you're so stuck behind your mask, and I'm offended.
Your bandage.
Let's all get a band in that.
I'll order us a beer.
We can sit down right here.
Screaming yeah, just some puzzle five.
Now hang on just a minute.
You can't man the first amendment, you're a band and I defend it all the time.
So let's take another sip.
Don't hold back and let a rip because band the end you'll be left and how we run.
I'm offended.
Your bandage.
Let's all get a band in that.
I'll order us a beer.
We can sit down right here and screaming here because I pray to God.
Earth to God.
Come in, God.
I know you're there hearing our prayers wherever you are.
We need you now.
To send your love down.
Take away the pain in your holy name.
We ask this now.
We need your life.
We need your love to heal the world you made.
And save us now and our dog is down with your amazing grace.
Earth to God We're holding on But not.
Can you pull us all close to the Holy Ghost and keep us tall?
We need your life.
We need your love to heal the world.
And save us now in our darkest hell with the owner.
Earth to God Earth to God Earth to God Earth to God That's all off of John Rich's uh news CD and and obviously get it wherever you get your music.
First song I'm offended, Earth to God.
I just I love I love all your songs.
You know what?
I wish I could do what you do.
I if I had uh my pick of things to do in life, I want to be you in my next life.
Can I do that?
We'll switch roles.
Uh we could try, Sean, but I don't know that I could talk for uh four hours a day every I think you definitely can.
Are you kidding?
You got it in you, man.
Um appreciate the compliment, brother.
Thank you for having me on.
You know, it's amazing.
Do you see what I'm seeing?
I mean, you write these songs and you get political and they bubble and fizz and they melt down and they they uh get triggered and then they get angry, and then your songs shoot up to number one.
It's hilarious to watch it, and it's happening not just to you, but uh Jason Aldean.
Uh this this the guy uh Oliver Anthony who just blew the world away with his new song.
Uh yeah, you know what it is is the music industry, especially as of late.
I mean, it is it's all edited, they're not letting the artists say what they want to say most of the time.
It's censored, it's homogenized, it is angled and slanted.
And so when you get people like myself who no longer work with the big companies, or you get uh a guy like Oliver Anthony who's literally just singing out in a field somewhere, the American people, we the people get a dose of the truth, man.
They're not used to hearing that.
They're not used to being allowed to hear those kinds of things.
So when they hear 'em, buddy, they respond in mass.
And uh, I think it's kind of a renaissance right now for for true speakers and music, and I'm proud to be a part of it.
Do you know Oliver Anthony?
I do.
So I reached out to him early on.
Uh, we've spoken on the phone pretty much every day uh since the song came out.
You know, he doesn't have any company with him.
Matter of fact, he's telling all the big companies no thank you.
Which I'm really happy.
Well, I want you I want you to explain this.
Wasn't he offered millions of millions of dollars to be signed?
Yes, he's been offered millions and millions of dollars several times uh for for him to sign it.
And so I asked him, What do you say to somebody when they offer you milli millions of dollars, and he says, Well, my question to them is millions of dollars in exchange for what?
And I said Well, is uh what if it's what if he's given complete total artistic license to do whatever he wants to record companies at that point, they they're legally bound to put out whatever he puts out.
Yeah, that's not gonna happen.
So here's here's the interesting irony.
These record labels, if if Oliver Anthony had walked into a record label in Nashville and sang Rich Men North of Richmond in somebody's office to try to get a record deal, they would have probably had him escorted out and said that you triggered everybody in the building and violated our safe space.
No, thank you.
Jeez.
Well, you know what that's gonna result in.
Now you're you you're just kicking ass.
You're taking no no prisoners, no holes barred, and you know what?
You your career speaks for itself.
I mean, hit after hit after hit after hit, and you're independent.
Uh I I still see you selling out, you know, arenas all across the country, John Rich, you and Big Kenny.
Yeah, people are showing up in droves.
I mean, n nothing has slowed down.
Uh and here's the thing.
Freedom of speech is a real thing.
I think we the people, we've now we've now seen that that we the people can destroy something.
We've seen brands get absolutely destroyed out here.
What I want to see now is that same that same spirit in building things.
I think you're seeing that with Oliver Anthony.
They're building this guy into something just massive because he deserves it.
He's an important voice.
They they're building me, they're building my music into something big.
And that's I l I love it.
It's like the i if you go woke, you go broke.
They boycott a song of yours, Jason Aldean, or they attack this Oliver Anthony, uh, or to totally you know, befuddled at why this song is successful.
Look, let me play his song.
You um it's called Richman North of Richmond, and this thing has been viral.
Now remember, he's been offered millions and millions of dollars to sign with these record companies.
He's like, no, thanks.
I'm gonna do it on my own.
Listen.
I've been selling my soul, working holiday, over time hours, for bullshit, so I can sit out here and waste my life away, drive back home and drown my troubles away.
It's a damn shame.
What the world's got him to people like me, people like you, if I could just wake up and not be true, but it is.
Oh, it is living in the new world.
Within hoes, so Richman hope for Richmond, Lord knows how to swan a high total control.
And they don't think you know, but until that you do, your dollar ain't and it's taxing all in the rich men, the rich men.
I wish politicians Look out for miners, and not just minors on an island somewhere.
Lord, we got folks in the street, ain't got nothing but heat, and they hobby milk and welfare.
God, if you're five foot three, and you three hundred pounds taxes ought not to pay for your minds of rounds, don't man are putting themselves six feet in the ground, because all this damn country does is keep on kicking them down.
I mean, I I John Rich, like I watched your videos over and over again.
I watched this video and all he's doing is playing the guitar out in the field, man, and and I'm I'm I'm blown away by it.
Yeah, that's because it's a real McCoy, Sean.
You know, we we are proving song by song that you don't have to bend the knee to the liberal music industry to connect with the people anymore.
Thank God for that blessing.
Because so many songs, and especially this guy would never be heard if it wasn't just for the American people stepping forward and supporting what he does.
It's a beautiful time to make music, man, and I I'm proud to be where I'm at.
An independent guy.
I got friends like you that'll play my music and tell your tell your listeners, hey, John's got a new record.
Man, that's all You can ask for, and then the people decide who gets to win and and who doesn't.
Yeah.
By the way, where do you get uh John Rich music?
So anywhere you get your music iTunes, Amazon music, all the regular places.
It's a whole record, the country truth.
So it's got progress, Earth to God.
Um I'm offended, which we played.
I'm offended is a brand new one, and then a bunch of other new songs that people haven't heard yet.
The whole I would I would say go get the whole record.
I mean, you're gonna love every song on the record.
And uh again, it makes a statement to the music industry that hey, uh, we the people are stronger than you are.
All right, quick break more with our friend John Rich on the other side.

All right, we continue with John Rich now.
Uh he's now released his recent C D. Uh his he's got a whole C D out.
I I recommend getting the whole CD, but his latest single, uh I'm Offended is hilarious, but it's also great music and Earth to God, you gotta love and every other song on this this CD.
It's great.
What about this idea?
Jason Aldean, John Rich, and Oliver Anthony, the the the new rebel tour of uh the music.
How do you what are you what are we gonna call this?
Uh the the anti-woke, pro-truth, screw you, uh we don't give a damn what you think tour of uh 2024.
I don't know that there's a stadium big enough for that.
Uh the only thing I would add if I could snap my fingers, I would add this man to the lineup, Mr. Charlie Daniels.
Can you imagine?
Oh God, could you imagine?
I love Charlie.
We miss him.
God, that that would be that would be the ultimate.
But you know what?
We're moving on in the spirit of Charlie Daniels, the artist you're talking about.
Myself included.
That man was not afraid of the system or of government or of anything.
He just did what he did and said what he said, and that's why we loved him.
Charlie Soapbox.
Miss it.
I know his son Charlie Jr. is right now, but John Rich, we love it, man.
Appreciate it.
Uh again, wherever you get your music, you're gonna love uh I'm offended, Earth to God, this great new release, all these new releases.
We appreciate you being with us, my friend.
Thanks, Sean.
Take care, brother.
800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Abortion activists, okay.
They've been, you know, they offer a tax on the pro-life community, and by the way, you might even be investigated if you dare stand up for your beliefs and speak out peacefully.
Uh but you know what?
The issue of abortion is so much bigger.
It's a it's a hard issue.
I've always said it's a heart issue.
And one of the things that's now become a ministry, and it's really successful.
They're saving over 200 babies' lives a week because they're using the science of 4D ultrasound, and they're offering free ultrasounds to any expecting mom.
They also offer counseling services and when the baby's born, they offer, you know, help if you need help with diapers or formula, whatever you whatever you need, they're helping.
Uh, they don't get a penny from the federal government.
But when expecting moms see what's the miracle of birth inside them, and they see fingers and toes and facial uh features of of the babies And hear heartbeats and can see heartbeats.
Man, it just it just they choose life and in overwhelming percentages.
And you can help this great cause, this this mission, and because they rely completely on your generosity to continue it.
I just got two uh 40 ultrasound machines for two of their facilities, and I'm gonna buy a more.
Anyway, just go and dial pound two fifty, say the key word baby, and you can donate.
They won't get money like Planned Parenthood does from the federal government.
That they count entirely on your support.

You know, really fascinating.
Linda, I know you love music too.
I mean, you sang in a how many years did you sing at weddings and in a band?
How many years you do that?
Seventeen.
Wow.
I think I think you probably did more weddings than me, although the years that I worked as a bartender at a wedding factory, I did five weddings a weekend.
Do one on Friday night, two on Saturday, two on Sunday.
And people would say, Well, how did you do that?
Because they they had four weddings going on in this facility at any one given time.
Which, quite frankly, if you've ever been in a facility like that, we used to call them wedding factories.
I mean, it's a disaster.
It sounds terrible.
I don't they sell these parties to these people.
And I would be like, okay.
Yeah, they really it wasn't terrible.
All I ever heard, if they had a DJ and we were a band, was the DJ compete like competing with us and like trying to blow us out.
It was ridiculous.
No, and they were, you know, separate uh enough that you didn't have wedding parties running into each other.
But um, look, I became cynical with all these weddings, you know, because I mean, yeah, every every family has an uncle Joe.
That's the guy that's gonna be, all right, kid, I want a double scotch and keep them coming.
And by the end of the night, his shirt is half buttoned, and he's got his tie, you know, around his uh forehead, and he's dancing to uh celebrate good times.
Come on.
You know, all the classics.
I mean, listen, I mean, I hate to say it, I still love that song.
There are a few songs that I still love.
I mean, you just you can't hate Motown ever, in my humble opinion.
Motown just keeps everybody happy.
Um, there are songs that I did sing at nausea, you know, last dance.
What did you sing?
You saw you sang swan.
It's funny.
You're funny.
Yeah.
You want to talk about my mantis X rating too while we're at it?
We're just get it all out of the way.
Get it out of your system, you know, like get on to the weekend.
Linda sang songs when she was a single.
I did, I sang songs, and I I love them.
Or you would say songs.
I sang songs.
Yeah, that sounds good.
Anywho.
But yeah, no, I mean you sang a song, nothing.
I used to do I started out doing Barn Bottom mitzfus.
I was a party hype dancer.
That's hilarious.
And that was how I started doing this stuff.
And then I started singing at those things.
All right, what were you gonna say?
Last dance, the Donna Summer hit.
Yeah, last dance was a huge request.
What was the other one?
Um, I'm not doing that today.
Thank you.
You know, I can't I can't coax you into doing that.
Not today.
Not today.
No, today's not the day.
But well, so we played John Richard's uh new songs, and and we talked about you know how this cultural phenomenon where you know country music is is now impacting the cultural wars and the anti going up against the anti woke movement.
And you know all of a sudden liberals boycott and a magical thing happens those songs race to number one.
You know another example of this was uh try that in a small town by Jason Aldean.
Now Jason Aldean is not independent like Oliver Anthony and uh you know John Rich.
Um and I'm only legally allowed to play thirty seconds of the song and if anybody knows Jason Aldean can you please tell Jason to call a stupid record company and tell them I'd play the whole song if they just allow me to play it for crying out loud but I here's my 30 allowed legal seconds of try that in a small town.
Outro Music
And it's basically you know if you try and people are gonna put up with this crap.
That's all it is.
And the way it got portrayed by the media was so twisted sick and triggered it was unreal.
Let me play some of it.
I mean it's a deplorable song and it's annoying.
Got a gun that my granddad gave me they say one day they're gonna round up well that S might fly in the city.
Good luck.
It's very divisive and provocative.
What I thought of when I read that read that was a Maud Arbory.
I think of a black man in a small town in the South who literally just got shot for doing nothing wrong.
Now the Republicans backing him up are buying into that same same reality of okay we're going to do racist things.
We're gonna do harmful things that target violence towards black and brown people in the duty to condemn this heinous vow racist song.
This song is about normalizing racist violence vigilanteism and white nationalism is a lynching anthem.
This is the typical Hollywood New York City pompous arrogant elitist these snobs that that they they have no idea what they are talking about.
They don't understand America.
They don't, you know, flyover country, as people used to call it.
They just don't.
Yeah, there are plenty of ignorant, racist, violent people all over this, every blue city and every blue state in the country.
And yes, sometimes they exist in other towns, but that is not America.
And that's not what this song was about, ever.
And the way they portrayed it and tried to cancel it, well, good job.
it right up to number one on the charts.
Awesome for Jason Aldean.
Alright let's get to our phones here let's say hi to Beverly is in New York.
Beverly how are you?
You know the arrogant liber liberal leftists do they not even w look at what's going on in their own town, their own cities the violence all over the streets of New York City, the subways of New York City, you know and and no they don't even they don't know the names of anybody shot in any of these cities unless they can politicize it.
Yeah it's a crazy situation.
Thankfully I'm in Albany so I don't have to deal with that most of the time.
Well a saner part of New York for sure what's going on although you do have the Capitol there.
What's going on?
Well I also have a place in Florida so I live in one of the most liberal and one of the most you know dusty so it's a at least it keeps me a little bit balanced.
So what's on your mind today?
What's this Friday?
What is it So um I I can't stand what Trump is going through.
I think it's horrifying it's maddening the blatant injustice, the hypocrisy I can't stand it.
However, I believe that our country getting back on track has to be that priority putting someone in the White House who has conservative principles who will put in some policies that will help us get in going in the right direction is just of the utmost importance.
And while we can support Trump and all of that what is going on with his legal issues and continually pointing out the injustice and the hypocrisy, I just wish that he would step aside so that we can focus on the things that we need to to get our country back on track, like the debt, like the economy, like our military.
And I'm not saying don't support him.
I'm saying if you stepped aside, we'd be able to um support these candidates, these these good candidates, and get them through the primaries and hopefully and I do believe that if someone would emerge that could then defeat whoever the Dems put up there, whether it's Biden or somebody else.
Because my concern is too many people will stay home and that Trump is so divisive and that he even if he does make it through all of this, it'd just be better for our country to be able to put that on a shelf and let's focus on the things that we have to do to make our country great again.
Do you think they're treating Donald Trump unfairly?
Do you think that this is a weaponized Department of Justice and a politicized one?
Absolutely.
Do you think that they treated Hillary Clinton differently on the document issue, top secret classified information?
Did they treat Joe Biden differently than Donald Trump?
Absolutely.
And do you think that what they're trying to pull off in New York?
We don't even know what they're really charging them in New York, but you know, uh uh payments of a hundred and thirty-five thousand dollars.
Uh do you do you think that this is you know this is politicized, weaponized use of of our legal system?
Yes, definitely.
And do you think this RICO charge where you have to prove criminal intent on these charges?
Do you think do you think that's politically driven and motivated?
Absolutely.
So then let me ask you this next question.
This is an important question.
If you believe that they are doing this to somebody, and you know that the Trump Russia collusion that John Durham concluded, that it operation crossfire hurricane never should have been open.
There wasn't one provable statement in the dirty Clinton disinformation dossier from Christopher Steele, and that it was then used uh wrong, it was wrongfully used even though they couldn't verify it.
They put it in a FISA application, it wouldn't have been approved according to Andrew McCabe, then deputy FBI director, without the dossier.
You believe that they persecuted Donald Trump falsely for three long years and the media mob and Democrats perpetrated lies, misinformation, conspiracy theories to take him down?
I do believe all that, yes.
Okay.
So if you think all of this is happening, why would you then say we should punish the guy it's happening to?
Uh first of all, it's not punishment because it would have to be his choice.
So but the the problem is is that we're all focusing on the legal issues.
And you're you're wondering if your fellow Americans are as informed as you and could answer the questions that I asked you in the same way, right?
Answer them the same way.
Not that informed.
I'm sorry to interrupt, but they are not informed for generally speaking.
Yeah.
Are living their lives and they're not paying attention.
Uh I I I hear what you're saying, and it creates a fear that okay, even though this guy is treated unfairly, if we if the Republican Party nominates him, his odds of of winning are lower because of all the false things that they've done to him in your view.
Is that a fair statement?
I would say that's fair.
Yeah.
I mean, what does that tell us about the state of the country?
Think about that.
Pretty it's but what you're saying is very profound.
It's not it I mean, in other words, they get rewarded for abusing our criminal justice system.
That's what you're saying.
No, I'm no uh that's not what I'm saying.
Because you're right, him stepping aside would be rewarding.
I think that I think that's part of their goal.
I think that part of their goal is to make this kind of like wag the dog, right?
Keep this legal stuff all out there so nobody that is paying attention and who isn't already fed up with all of it.
How many people have stopped listening because it's so much it's it's overwhelming.
Well, I will tell you the way it's designed now is all the trials that'll take place in unfriendly venu venues with the exception of Florida will take place in this election year coming up.
And any appeals, which is where I think Donald Trump has a much better chance of winning, uh, that would take place post election.
But that would achieve their goal, wouldn't it?
To bloody him up to such a point that people would would think, oh, he's been found guilty.
Is it uh you know, and uh look, if we don't have equal justice in application of our laws, we don't have a country.
We don't have a constitution that's working.
That's sad to me.
But very enlightening.
Thank you, Beverly.
Appreciate it.
Um, I just want to get one more call in on this Friday.
So uh sh so Sean is with us, and so Sean is from Tennessee.
How are you?
I'm fine.
Thank you, Sean, for taking the problem.
I wanted to you know, first of all, I don't I don't believe in violence at all.
I don't and I neither do I, unless it's unless it's to defend yourself or your family.
Amen.
I I do want to agree with Linda as far as what she said yesterday about the flash mob.
Um, you know, the word mob is right there in it, you know.
And what is a mob that a large group of people who are doing things they normally wouldn't do on their own because they didn't have the guts, but through that crowd of that mob, they gain that strength and you know they're they're very unpredictable and they're dangerous.
And so when you're attacked by a mob, you cannot sit quietly and take that.
You know, you have to teach your children right away that you know you need to be strong, you need to stand tall.
In the face of fear, you need to stand tall.
Be seen, be heard, do what's right.
You know, I've taught my daughter, I have a 30-year-old daughter, and I've taught her that yes, there are going to be times in life when you're gonna be faced with fear, and sometimes it's scary, and you don't know what to do.
But you cannot back down.
You cannot back down and face fear.
I'm so tired of everybody being so mild.
You need to be firm and bold.
And you know, I I think you need to be firm, bold, you know, don't fear speaking up, standing on your core beliefs, but I urge everybody to be peaceful in doing it.
I mean, you know, we have an opportunity to have a peaceful transfer of power, and that means winning an election.
And that's where I'm putting all my focus and attention.
Um, you know, I've never really been one to uh to champion boycotts, cancellations, firings, uh, gatherings.
I just encourage people to do their civic duty and go out and vote for the best person that's running for office and stand on your principles.
And and that means Republicans have to vote embrace voting early, voting by mail, and they gotta get in the ballot harvesting business, the legal ballot harvesting business, and match the Democratic Party's efforts, or they will start out election day behind by hundreds of thousands of votes, and that becomes untenable.
And I've also recommended that that they understand that abortion is a big issue in some of these swing states.
And, you know, find that middle ground, even though it's not your your what you would fully want yourself.
Uh it's that big an issue, and I think it played a big part in 2022.
Anyway, I do appreciate the call.
What a crazy week this has been.
Uh my next week is gonna be busy too.
We're gonna be in Wisconsin on Wednesday for the Fox debate.
I'll be doing the after show.
They never let me host the debate.
Although I'm hosting a debate, hopefully with Newsom and DeSantis, that'll be pretty interesting.
You looking forward to that, Linda?
I am always looking forward to seeing Governor DeSantis kick some booty.
All right.
And that should be interesting.
Red versus blue, California versus Florida.
That I think that's they've been sniping at each other forever.
So anyway.
We'll give you more details.
Have a great weekend.
We're just out of time.
