Government is Far From Perfect - July 20th, Hour 1
Sean spends some time looking back on just how badly the government got America's COVID response wrong and just why he can't trust Washington anymore.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Sean Hannity.
The new Sean Hannity Show.
More behind the scenes information on breaking news and more bold, inspired solutions for America.
All right, thanks, Scott Channel.
Thanks to all of you for being with us, 800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
All right, we've got a lot to get to today.
A lot of follow-up from these two IRS whistleblowers from yesterday.
We had a press conference.
I don't know why I'm very interested in this, but I am very interested in this on the issue of unidentified flying objects.
I kind of find it fascinating.
And anyway, they had a press conference today, and there's going to be a hearing next week.
And they identified who the speakers will be.
And these are people with really, really incredible credentials.
One guy, David Grush, decorated former combat officer, served in Afghanistan, telling world news about his experiences serving on a task force led by the U.S. Navy and a commander, David Fraver, former Navy commander, who shot the famous TikTok video or TikTok video that you've seen.
It's on YouTube.
60 Minutes did a special on it.
And he did this while flying a routine flight over the Pacific.
Ryan Graves, another Navy pilot.
And it's going to be different.
We're going to have witnesses who can speak frankly to the public about their experiences.
I'm just interested.
I want to know what they have and the extent that maybe they have not been forthcoming with you, we, the American people, on that issue.
We also had Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
He was before the committee today, which I thought this whole thing was pretty fascinating as well.
And that is Congressman Stuby of Florida is on the House Weaponization Subcommittee.
And anyway, they hosted Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
And I thought his opening statements were really, really interesting.
And it has to do with censorship.
Now, put aside whether or not where you stand on the COVID-19 vaccine or his belief that vaccines could be related to autism, et cetera, et cetera.
And I have a town hall.
And by the way, anyone's invited to come.
You can get tickets for free.
It's going to be in New York City.
I don't know why he chose New York City.
I said we'd do it anywhere he wanted.
I would think he'd want Iowa, New Hampshire, or South Carolina, but he wanted New York City.
I said, okay, maybe he figures fewer Hannity supporters at the town hall, but that's fine with me.
I just want people to hear him.
He's running.
And by the way, I'm not turning that town hall into a debate.
Hannity versus RFK.
It's not.
I'm not running for president, but I think it's important that somebody, even if they have controversial views, that they be heard.
And especially maybe somebody whose own father running for president was assassinated and his uncle, president, was assassinated.
I think he has a right to be heard.
So he gave an opening statement today that just kind of blew me away a little bit.
He said, when I gave my speech announcement, a speech in Boston a few months ago, YouTube, I talked about all those issues I focused on.
Five minutes into my speech, when I was talking about Paul Revere, YouTube deplatformed me.
I didn't talk about vaccines in that speech.
I didn't talk about anything that is the subject that I was just talking about.
I was shut down, and that's why the First Amendment is important.
You know, this goes to the heart of a real battle that is being waged behind the scenes in this very authoritative fashion.
You've got the globalists, the radical climate alarmist cultists, the people that didn't want you to be able to read other opinions about COVID or COVID therapeutics or different opinions on the COVID vaccine.
I mean, they were demonized, they were beaten up, they were pilloried, they're just hammered for daring to express a view that might be contrarian.
You know, Joe Rogan gets COVID.
He says, we threw everything at it.
Ivermectin, we threw monoclonal antibodies, HCQ, I think he said.
I don't remember everything.
You think that everybody's answer would be good?
I'm glad it worked for you.
No.
He was telling his audience what he did.
And then he had dared to have on Dr. Robert Malone.
We've had him on this program a number of times.
There wouldn't be a Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccination available, but for the technology that he invented and developed.
And on this program, he made a pretty profound statement.
He said the science hasn't quite been perfected yet.
And again, this is the guy credited, and it was always emergency authorization at the time.
And he was the guy that invented the technology that actually allowed for even the production of mRNA viruses to begin with.
Now, you would think that that guy's somebody credible that you might want to listen to, considering, you know, the government is telling everybody, basically, either get this vaccine.
Oh, if you get the vaccine, they lied to you.
They said, if you get vaccinated, guess what?
You're never going to get COVID.
If you get vaccinated, you're never going to infect anybody else.
Well, that turned out to be wrong.
And you wouldn't think these geniuses, that so-called follow-the-science lecturing crowd, would know that viruses mutate.
And God forbid, somebody like, oh, Ram Paul talked about natural immunity, and he was right from the get-go.
And that created, but the immunity waned.
The variants came.
We had difficult variants like Delta, less severe ones like Omicron, different variations of Omicron.
And, you know, so he very, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
was very vocal.
Okay, that's his opinion.
There was so much pressure brought to bear on me.
Hannity, what is your status?
Remember, Linda, everybody wanted to know my status.
What is my medical status?
I probably would have gladly shared it with people until they started trying to pressure me and insist that I had to disclose my, quote, status.
Are you vaccinated?
Are you not vaccinated?
How about it's none of your damn business vaccinated?
How about that?
We'll make a new box that we can check off.
I think I believe in medical privacy.
And the pressure that was brought to bear on me on this show, on my TV show, to tell all of you what you should do in terms of vaccinations, what decision you should make.
Now, how am I qualified to make that decision?
Am I a doctor?
No, I'm not a doctor.
Do I know your medical history?
No, I don't know your medical history.
Do I know your current medical condition?
No, I do not.
Do I know if you have comorbidities?
No, I do not.
I was in no way qualified to give anybody that kind of advice.
So I did tell people because I saw this.
It was an Adam Schiff show in New York very early on in March of 2020.
I'll never forget phone calls I made to top people in government because I got alarming calls from friends of mine in hospitals in Long Island and New York City saying, you have no idea how bad this is.
This is that bad.
We can't, we have an emergency room full of COVID positive people.
We have every hallway, every bed taken.
We have no room for anybody anymore.
And these people are going to die.
That's, I mean, that's the type of call I was getting.
And then the big push, where's the ventilators?
I want, you know, 150,000 ventilators.
Well, meanwhile, every state should have had their own.
And we find out later that their own health departments had recommended it decades earlier and they didn't do anything about it.
We ended up not running out of ventilators, but sad to say that unfortunately, the odds, if you got on a ventilator that you would survive at that point, at that point, was about 15%.
And that's on the high side.
It didn't help.
A lot of people died.
Then they had the insanity of the nursing home issue in New York and shutdowns here, there, and everywhere and mask mandates.
And then vaccinating even young babies and kids and kindergartners.
The one thing that remained consistent about COVID was it did tend to put the people, the people that were most at risk were people that were older, that had comorbidities, pre-existing conditions, were, you know, or that were obese.
That was a big factor.
They just, those were the scientific facts at the time.
And that mostly held young people.
Most of the young kids that I know that got this, that either worked for me or my own kids, et cetera.
For them, it was, I don't know, most, honestly, to be very blunt, for my kids, it was like a cold.
It was nothing to them.
And for a lot of adults, I know people that really suffered, people that barely made it out of the emergency room.
I know a miracle case.
I can tell you story after story.
Linda, how many people that I helped to try to get monoclonal antibodies?
That was the only one thing I said.
Talk to your doctor.
I didn't tell you what to do.
I asked about monoclonal antibodies.
And you kept giving me a hard time.
You keep repeating yourself.
You keep repeating yourself.
Then I go through every caller on hold and I say, what is my advice if you get a positive COVID test?
I don't know.
I don't know.
And I said, Linda, that's why I keep repeating the words so people will remember because that was the one thing I saw worked.
And there were hospitals in New York that I knew, Catholic hospitals tended to be the most open to monoclonal antibodies in New York.
And Ron DeSantis down in Florida opened up monoclonal antibody centers everywhere for free.
Everybody down in Florida could have it for free until Joe Biden became president and took it away.
Couldn't believe it.
How stupid was that?
Anyway, so Robert F. Kennedy, but at the time, you could not even mention any alternative therapies.
To finish the story about Robert Malone, you know what he said to me on this show?
He said, my recommendation is we not give mRNA vaccines to anybody under 65 unless they have preexisting conditions, comorbidities, or are obese.
That's it.
That was his standard.
And he explained scientifically as the creator of the technology of the RNA virus vaccine why he believed that.
But God forbid you put the guy on, he'd get the crap beat out of him.
Or any of the other doctors we put on that said they're in the field.
They're using these therapeutics and they're seeing results.
Now, do I know if that's true or not?
No, but I wanted you to hear it so then you can talk to your doctor and you can decide and make the best decision, health decision possible.
Unreal.
Then Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
actually had gotten a letter prior to today's hearing saying this is a letter that many of you signed, many of my fellow Democrats.
And they told, they were trying to disinvite him to today's hearing.
He goes, I've spent my life in this party.
I've devoted my life to the values of this party.
There's 102 people sign it.
It in itself is evidence of a problem that this hearing was convened to address an attempt to censor censorship hearing.
Wow, what a line that is.
And we actually have it.
Let's play Robert F. Kennedy.
An attempt.
Hearing was convened to address.
This is an attempt to censor a censorship hearing.
The charges in this, and by the way, censorship is antithetical to our party.
It was appalling to my father, to my uncle, to FDR, to Harry Truman, to Thomas Jefferson, as the chairman referred to.
It is the basis for democracy.
It sets us apart from all of the previous forms of government.
We need to be able to talk.
And the First Amendment was not written for easy speech.
It was written for the speech that nobody likes you for.
I mean, this is powerful.
Think about the Hunter Biden laptop that the FBI had in December of 2019, verified, authenticated in March of 2020.
And then why were FBI agents in the months leading up to that election warning every big tech company that they may be victims of a disinformation campaign?
And Yoel Roth, Site Integrity had a Twitter at the time in the Missouri case, which was a big part of the hearings today, you know, had said, oh, be ready.
It might be about Joe or Hunter Biden.
And then all of a sudden, that very real Hunter laptop story breaks.
And you couldn't even share that information on these platforms.
That is censorship.
And by the way, you are allowed to have controversial views.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
is not the only person that I have ever heard in the course of my life that has a strong belief system.
And I am not a doctor.
It's not my area of interest that actually believes the vaccines and the mercury in them might play a part in the rise of percentage of kids that have autism.
I'm willing to listen to people that believe something that I don't know about.
And then when we do this town hall with them next Tuesday, I'm going to let them talk.
I'm not his fact checker.
Everybody at home is smart enough to make their own decisions.
Just like I was not going to tell everybody what they ought to do or not do with their body on COVID.
It is not my, I'm not qualified to do it.
You know, very rare that a talk show host will admit that they're not qualifying to do something.
Just for the record.
I'm just saying.
I'm pretty amazing lying.
And this is an attempt to censor the censorship hearing by RFK Jr.
today.
He addressed a lot.
A lot of this we will get into with him next Tuesday.
Our town hall is in New York.
Tickets are free.
If you want to go to Hannity.com to sign up, just like tonight's show, if you want to come, we do an audience show Wednesday and Thursday nights, but you got to sign up ahead of time.
Yeah, I know he said controversial things.
He made a statement about that COVID-19, that it attacked certain races disproportionately.
And then he went on to say that it attacked Caucasians and black people.
And he said that the people most immune or the Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.
Now, I have no idea what the hell he's talking about, but he addressed it a little bit at the hearing today.
I'll bring it up with him next Tuesday, so we'll save it for that and find out why he believes that.
Yeah, he has controversial views.
Should I not interview him?
The only one that's a waste of time is that idiot Chris Christie.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.

Hannity uncovers the real truth about the politics of D.C. He's your watchdog on Big Brother every day.
Hannity is on right now.
Hi, 25 to the top of the hour.
Thank you for being with us.
800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, we have a lot to get to.
We have a new way that Joe Biden wants to tax you.
Later on, Steve Moore, we've got big breaking news on the FBI informant, Burisma, the Quid Pro quo, and all the evidence in the 1023 form.
Now I think we know why the Department of Justice, the FBI, did not want to hand that over, handed over a redacted version, then handed, then only allowed members to see it in a skiff.
And then, I mean, the whole time, by the way, James Comer had a copy.
I mean, it was so dumb.
But, you know, they're not cooperative at the Department of Justice under Merrick Garland.
And the FBI director has not been cooperative with either the Judiciary Committee or the House Oversight Committee.
Reminder: look, one way to save money in these tough economic times and not sacrifice service, make the switch to my cell phone company, and that is Pure Talk.
Now, whether you're a current Pure Talk customer or you're about to be a new Pure Talk customer, they have just added more 5G data to every single plan, and they're including for free mobile hotspot with each.
No price increase at all whatsoever.
And right now, for example, make the switch, and for $20 a month, you can get unlimited talk, unlimited text, and now an additional 50% more 5G data and mobile hotspot for a whopping $20 a month.
They use the same cell towers.
They use the same 5G network as the big carriers.
And guess what that means for you?
You're saving, average family is saving close to $1,000 a month, money in your pocket for the exact same service.
It's simple.
Make the switch now.
Dial pound 250.
Say the keyword, save now.
Do it now.
You'll save an additional 50% off your first month.
Pound 250, keyword, save now, and make the switch to my cell phone company, Pure Talk.
Well, we did find a new way, and we'll get into this later in the program today, that Joe Biden would like to tax you.
I guess there's only truth to the fact.
There's only two things certain in life.
One is death and one is taxes.
Taxes, well, for some people, there are people that never pay doxes.
They just don't.
Well, they pay sales tax.
Well, do they?
I mean, you know, there are people that are on the.
You mean like Hunter?
Yeah, right.
We have a lot of news on him today.
However, you know, with Americans now being crushed, you know, Biden's $10,000 per household average inflation tax, how much we've been paying.
You know, Donald Trump, the price of a gallon of gasoline never averaged above $3 a gallon his entire presidency.
And we became energy independent for the first time in 75 years.
Joe abandoned that because he was bowing at the altar of the climate alarmist religious cult.
You know, Americans now, two-thirds of them, close to two-thirds, are living paycheck to paycheck.
Average American owes $54,000 in debt.
I mean, it's unbelievable.
And now over the last two years, we now are finding out, you talk about really sick adherence to insane globalism.
I mean, I love that President Xi just laughed in John Kerry's face as John Kerry, I want to lecture you about the dangers of global warming and the carbon emission problem in the country.
Have you ever seen the movie Dave?
Dave.
For Kevin Klein back in the day, he pretends to be a president because the president has actually had a stroke.
Yeah.
He needs him like the bottom of the White House.
And he imitates the president.
Kevin Klein does.
It's amazing.
You sound exactly like Kevin Klein imitating the president.
Just saying, you know, I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it.
I travel in private planes because private jets because my work is just so much more important than anybody else's work.
Such an arrogant, pompous ass.
I can't stand arrogant, pompous people.
I really can't.
You know, I like real people.
I like the American workers.
I like our farmers, our truckers.
Let's keep it real.
The contractors that whistle at Linda when she walks by.
Does that still happen?
Remember, we talked about that?
Oh, my, why are you attacking me today?
I'm not attacking.
Does that still happen?
I don't know.
What do you think?
I think absolutely.
Okay, so why are you asking the question?
This goes back to earlier when you said I couldn't run.
I was saying, you can't run.
I can run.
I'll run all day like Forrest Gump.
Oh, boy.
I'll do that five-minute mile.
Don't you worry.
Okay, you cannot do a five-minute mile.
Maybe I can.
Okay, I'll bet you.
How much time do you need to do?
How much do you want to bet?
I'll give you $1,000 if you run a five-minute mile, and I'll give you.
Make it $5,000.
Are you going to.
$5,000 for every mile.
Are you going to do it this weekend?
No, I'm not going to do it this weekend.
I'm going on vacation next week.
Okay.
You're going to do it tomorrow before you come to work?
I'll do it before Labor Day.
No, no, because it gives you all.
Oh, see, you're scared.
If you're going to spend a little time.
That's a good game, big talker.
Big talker, you need to pull out John Kerry, huh?
You need a month and a half to prepare.
No way.
Facts are in front of you.
You can't do it.
You can't do it.
And that's what I'm saying.
All right.
So, if you think the World Economic Forum is bad, if you think that all these globalist organizations, the Paris Climate Accords, the United Nations, this has a history of virulent anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism.
It appears Biden and Janet Yellen have negotiated a global minimum tax through the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the OECD, the organization that would then surrender your sovereignty, American sovereignty, over our tax code and allow foreign countries to make our taxes that were meant for our essential programs and our military.
And we would be part of this cooperative.
And they negotiated a global minimum tax.
And also means that some more of our money will go abroad.
Joe Biden said, well, we're responsible, he said recently, for polluting the planet.
Therefore, we owe these countries billions.
I'm like, yeah, where are you going to get the money, Joe?
So this was their failures.
This is how sick this has gotten.
This is how bad this is.
Biden, Bidenomics, he's running on Bidenomics.
Well, you needed $1,000 in today's money to buy what you could buy for $862 when Biden took office.
That pretty much says it all.
Things are getting more expensive, more expensive, at a slower rate than the previous year when inflation was soaring and Biden inflation at 16% for crying out loud.
Food prices, you know, 19%.
The price of gasoline up $1.50 on average now.
And this is the low level of the price of a gallon of gasoline.
Now, by the way, we have a new study finding electric vehicles don't cut the cost for drivers and don't help the environment.
How is it possible when you pay, you know, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 more for that electric car?
You have to pillage Mother Earth to get the minerals, cobalt, nickel, manganese.
I don't know what any of this crap is, but you got to use big machinery that uses diesel fuel to build a battery that on average apparently weighs 2,000 pounds, which makes that car that much heavier.
Yeah, good luck when you hit a mini Cooper and you get plowed into by an electric vehicle with the extra 2,000 pounds in weight.
I mean, this is nuts.
Never mind the fact that 90% of our electric grid is, let's see, powered by fossil fuels.
Does that not impact anybody's belief that this is a dumb idea by dumb people that don't know anything about the environment, the economy?
And by the way, now the government is planning electric cars will be the only kind of new car we're going to be allowed to buy after 2035.
That's why I'm getting I finally got on the list after a year and a half to two years.
I don't remember the exact date I called over, but I got on a list to get my Corvette Z06 that is the coolest car I've ever seen in my life.
All my buddies and muscle hoods.
Hannity, why don't you get this car, this car?
You can afford it.
Get this car.
Get that.
No, I never wanted it.
Then I saw the Z06.
Then I learned about the Z06 with the Z07 package.
And mine is now being built, Linda, right now.
You don't seem concerned.
Does it come with its own cape and special message?
You know what?
I asked the wrong thing.
I think how cool is that car?
Bruce Wayne could do a lot of work.
How in demand is that car?
I can't tell you how demand the car is, but it's a nice car.
But if you put it on one of the auction, you know, the car auction channels that they have out there, anyone who's buying it to auction at?
I'm not buying it to auction.
What are you going to do with it?
I'm probably going to hold it as an investment and drive it only on rare occasions.
Although you have to get over 500 miles.
What are the rare occasions?
I don't know when I feel like it.
That's the rare occasion.
Drag racing.
Well, you can put it on a track.
That's the cool part of it.
But see, like, that has a track mode.
Why not have some fun with it?
That would be on a track.
It would be a lot of fun with it.
But you're saying you're not going to take it.
I'll take you on it and go over 225 miles an hour.
I'll take care of that car.
Don't you worry.
Oh, yeah.
I'll put my cat suit on.
We'll get in there.
Cat suit.
I'll go save New York.
You know, me and Spider-Man.
You and Biden should do like a celebrity drag race or something like that for charity.
I'm in.
Both drive your age.
It'll be fantastic.
No, please.
Nothing with Biden.
He'll sniff you and it'll get very uncomfortable.
Let me tell you what will never happen in my life.
If he motorboats him out.
Okay, the way he sniffed that girl in Finland and nibbled on her.
No, the worst part is that the parents are videotaping it like it's cute.
You smack him and then smack them.
Okay, there was nothing cute about it.
I can tell you that.
No, it's disgusting.
It's perverted.
All right, so John Solomon in the next hour, he's going to join us.
Remember what we call an FD 1023 report?
Remember the FBI didn't want to release it?
They didn't want to give it to the oversight committee.
Remember, they had to threaten a contempt charge on Christopher Wray, the FBI director.
Then finally, they send a redacted version.
Then finally, they allow committee members to see it in a skiff.
Well, now we have details about it.
And this came from a trusted FBI informant.
Now, Hannity, how do you know it's a trusted FBI informant?
Because the FBI so trusted this guy that they paid him over the years hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars.
That's how we know they trusted him.
Well, we now know that this informant told FBI agents in 2020 that Hunter Biden was hired by Burisma Holdings to use his father to help protect the Ukrainian gas firm from problems, including the corruption and an effort to take care of that Ukrainian prosecutor.
We know his name, Victor Shokin, who was investigating the company for corruption, according to Senator Grassley's report that he released on Thursday.
So they hire Hunter Biden, who they did not think was very smart.
They said that, to protect them through his father from all kinds of problems.
Now, I was screaming from the rooftops during the Ukrainian impeachment hoax that the real quid pro quo took place with Joe.
And we know, because Joe admitted it on tape, we've played it many times.
You're not getting a billion taxpayer dollars unless you fire the prosecutor.
You got six hours to do it, and Obama supports my decision.
And son of a B, they fired the guy.
And what did that mean?
Well, we now know what it meant.
The investigation into Burisma, and we learned in yesterday's IRS whistleblower hearings, Ukraine paid, I guess, through Burisma, $6.5 million to the Biden syndicate that, in fact, that all happened and that Joe Biden was involved.
Now, here's the other interesting part of this.
Now, anyway, the FBI reported that a top burisma official, Vadim Podjarski, declared during a meeting while Joe Biden was still vice president, according to the 1023 Confidential Human Source report that Grassley released.
The informant reported that Burisma had asked Hunter to help get the top prosecutor, Victor Shokin, sideline because he was investigating the firm for corruption and interfering with Burisma's efforts to buy a U.S. firm.
Shokin's investigation into Burisma was made public in the time, and it would have been a substantial negative impact on Burisma's perspective IPO in the U.S.
So they're going to make probably hundreds of millions of dollars.
When you have an IPO, it's usually a big deal.
Don't worry, Hunter will take care of these issues, the report alleged.
He replied something to the effect.
Now, Joe Biden has admitted that he did all of this for Burisma.
And the owner of the Ukrainian gas company, Burisma, Mykola Laszewski, told the FBI informant in a coffee shop in Vienna, Austria, that, quote, it cost $5 million to pay one Biden and $5 million to pay another Biden.
This is all in the redacted FD 1023.
Why didn't the FBI do anything about it?
And why did they try and withhold it from the Oversight Committee and Congress that has a constitutional role to look into these matters?
I mean, this is ridiculous.
This is insanity.
By the way, now Democrats are all queasy about nudity because Marjorie Taylor Greene held up the images yesterday.
But, you know, what did we learn yesterday?
Investigative steps that involved Biden?
Yeah, okay.
They were not allowed to be taken, Gary Shapley said yesterday.
$17 million foreign interests between 2014 and 2019, $17 million, whistleblower Ziegler said.
By the way, a Democrat, registered Democrat with integrity, went out of his way to explain how difficult this was for him.
You know, Jim Jordan, who are you going to believe?
And he raised the right question.
Who are you going to believe here?
You know, IRS whistleblowers that say the Justice Department slow walked, impeded an investigation into Hunter Biden.
He went on to give, you know, all the accounts.
We have all the evidence.
Now we found the suspicious activity reports.
And we have a Justice Department that can't get their story straight.
They can't even tell us where the cocaine was found.
They had three different locations in the White House in the West Wing.
Just like in three days, 33 days, these guys, you know, they can't get their story straight in terms of, you know, any of the questions about whether or not the Justice Department could move on any of these issues.
And that Ziegler said, well, that they didn't want any questions asked at all whatsoever, and that the Biden Justice Department stopped it.
And then the IRS whistleblower gave a pretty interesting answer when asked if Joe Biden benefited from this.
Catherine Herridge said, Did you uncover any evidence President Biden financially benefited?
He said, I don't feel comfortable answering that question.
Wow.
Anytime we potentially wanted to go down the road of asking questions related to the president, that's going to take too much approvals.
We can't ask those questions.
Well, guess what?
We have now a new sheriff running the House of Representatives.
We can ask that.
We can ask these questions.
I'm telling you, this is going to get interesting.
Stay tuned.
