Time Text
This is an iHeart podcast.
All right, Arrow 2, Sean Hannity Show.
Thanks for being with us, 800-941-Sean.
Our number, if you want to be a part of the program, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan will be with us in a moment as these hearings go on.
Now, a second whistleblower has come out.
I hope you found it worthwhile playing the opening statements of both Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler.
Here is the House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer and questioning Mr. Ziegler on issues involving the Bidens and money.
Here on the committee, we focused on following the evidence, specifically the money trail through bank records and suspicious activity reports.
And I want to discuss with you specific payments made to Hunter Biden and the Biden family.
Democrats and the left-wing media are also saying there's no evidence.
Let's get into the evidence, Mr. Ziegler.
I want to direct you to pages 99 and 100 of your transcript.
How much money did Hunter Biden and his associates receive from the Romanian company you identified?
So that amount would be from Romania.
So the approximate total transfers from the Romania company would have been $3.1 million to everyone.
$3.1 million.
How much did Hunter Biden and his business associates receive from State Energy HK Limited through the Robinson Walker LLC?
So total transfers from State Energy HK to Rob Walker was $3 million.
$3 million.
Was there a $100,000 payment from CEFC infrastructure to OWASCO PC, Hunter Biden's professional corporation?
Yes, Chairman.
Approximately, how much was transferred to Hunter Biden and his business associates through Hudson West 3?
So the total transfers from Hudson West 3 to everyone was $3.7 million.
$3.7 million.
How much money did Hunter Biden and his business associates receive from the Ukrainian company Burisma?
Burisma paid to everyone involved $6.5 million.
$6.5 million.
Barisma also paid Blue Star Strategies and a law firm hundreds of thousands of dollars, bringing the total Burisma payments to over $7 million.
Is that correct?
That is correct.
$7.3 million.
$7.3 million.
Between 2014 and 2019, this brings the total amount of foreign income streams received to approximately $17 million, correct?
That is correct.
All right.
Now, the question that is being asked in the House Judiciary Committee is whether or not the FBI is politicized and weaponized and whether the DOJ is politicized and weaponized.
We see how Donald J. Trump is treated.
We saw the target letter that was revealed yesterday.
And now all this money and all this evidence, and there's not a single Democrat that has a single question about this.
And the Biden Justice Department, now we're hearing from, we have an FBI whistleblower that says, in fact, that the Bidens were given special treatment, that they were tipped off, in fact, which is mind-numbing.
The FBI agents investigating Hunter Biden was told not to answer certain committee questions that would obstruct an investigation.
The FBI tipped off the Biden team and the Secret Service about a plan to interview Hunter, and that resulted in that interview being stopped.
FBI tipped off Team Biden Secret Service about a planned interview.
And that interview never happened.
And Jim Jordan is thinking about holding FBI Director Ray in contempt to Congress.
Anyway, he joins us now, Ohio Congressman, head of the Judiciary Committee, Jim Jordan.
Sir, how are you?
I'm fine, Sean.
Good to be with you.
You know, I don't think I thought I was good at lists and laying out the facts really quickly, and nobody does it better than you.
Can you please explain what it is we are seeing, not only with the Biden family and what we're discovering here, and more importantly, what you see going on, especially in light of the target letter that Donald Trump received yesterday, or on Sunday night rather, that was revealed yesterday and your interpretation of it?
Well, we see what the American people see.
Four out of five Americans think there's a two-tiered system.
We see that.
You see how the Biden family gets treated.
You see how the Trump family gets treated.
You see how anyone connected with the Democrat Party, and you quote in Lee here in D.C., there's one set of rules for them, a different set of rules for us conservatives and regular Americans.
So that's the big overarching concern.
Specific to this, though, and I raised this in the committee today, it's the fundamental question, who are you going to believe?
I think there are actually two fundamental questions.
First, to what happened here.
Ask the simple question, what did the Bidens do for the money?
What was the service they offered?
What was the product they offered?
What was the value they added?
What did they do?
No one can find anything other than access to an important guy in the American political system and the American government, Joe Biden.
That's all you can figure out there.
And then you ask the more important question about how the investigation into Hunter Biden went, and it's who are you going to believe?
Who are you going to believe?
These two agents whose story has been consistent, whose testimony has not wavered and been supported two days ago by the testimony of an FBI agent.
You're going to believe them, 10-year veterans, both a decade of service, handled the biggest, highest profile international tax fraud cases, handled them all, traveled all over the world, outstanding reviews, performance reviews.
You're going to believe them?
Are you going to believe the Biden-Garland Justice Department that can't get their story straight?
And I laid this out.
June 7th of this year, David Weiss writes me and says, I've been granted ultimate authority, including responsibility for deciding where, when, and whether to file charges.
June 30th, 23 days later, he sends me another letter and clarifies everything.
He says in the second letter, he says, I stand by what I wrote, but I want to expand.
And then the next sentence is, my charging authority is geographically limited to my home district.
Well, which is it?
You've got ultimate authority to decide where, he said that, not me, where you can file charges, or you're limited to your district, because it can't be both.
And I would say this.
The one thing that happened between those two dates, Sean, between June 7th of this year and June 30th this year, is these two whistleblowers who are testifying publicly today, their transcript from their interview, from their deposition, went public on June 22nd.
And suddenly, I think David Weiss said, oh, my goodness, I got to fix my story.
And that's what he tried to do in that June 30th letter.
Because that would also impact Merrick Garland, wouldn't it, who made the claim that, in fact, he had full jurisdiction to go to California, Washington, D.C. Of course, Merrick Garland said that under oath in front of the United States Senate, both once when Mr. Senator Haggerty questioned him, once when Senator Grassley questioned him, he said he's got ultimate authority.
He's in charge.
No politics, no interference whatsoever from Maine Justice.
Now, here's the clincher.
On July 10th, just a couple weeks ago, Mr. Weiss writes Senator Graham.
And in his letter to Senator Graham, he says this.
He said, to clarify, I have not requested special counsel designation.
Rather, I've had discussions with departmental officials.
So he went from, I got full authority to, no, I don't have full authority to, oh, I've had discussions with Maine Justice.
Three stories in 33 days.
But the guys on the stand who are just showing how credible they are, they have not wavered.
Their story has not changed.
Their testimony has been consistent.
That, I think, is the big takeaway.
And so we're trying to interview the folks associated with this investigation at the Justice Department to find out what happened.
My hunch is David Weiss probably wanted to do the right thing, but somebody told him he couldn't go forward with the charges that everyone sees and these two whistleblowers see in the FBI agencies should have happened.
All right.
So we have, based on that exchange with James Comer and the IRS whistleblower Joe Ziegler, $17 million in money is going to the Biden.
That does not include the money from Russia.
That does not include the money from China.
On the Ukrainian money, $6.5 million, that's more than I thought it was, that Mr. Ziegler pointed out in his testimony today.
And so I want to know, in total, how much money are we talking about the Biden family syndicate?
Because you got Romania, you got Kazakhstan, you've got Ukraine and Burisma, and you got Russia, and you got China.
How much money did they make in these foreign business deals?
How much money in business?
How much money was profit?
And we now know that Joe Biden himself lied to the American people repeatedly.
We got photographic evidence of him meeting with Hunter and foreign business partners.
We got dates and times and places of meetings with foreign business partners of Hunter.
So Joe Biden seems to be up to his eyeballs in this.
Is that money getting close now to Joe Biden and closer and closer?
Because I think there's a word for that where I grew up, and it probably is the same word that's in your head.
Yeah.
So look, we know of over $17 million, as you said.
This is what Mr. Ziegler said today on the witness stand.
That's a lot of money.
I think one of the fundamental questions, too, and what these guys are trying to get to the bottom of is how much did he owe in his tax bill?
How much did he not pay in taxes?
That's a huge number as well.
And that's sort of the fundamental issue with these two whistleblowers, these two IRS agents.
Did Hunter ever register under the FARA Act?
Yeah, we don't believe so.
No.
And what we're trying to do, Sean, is you know, Chairman Comer has been attempting to interview a transcribed interview with Hunter Biden's business partner, Mr. Archer.
And that gets scheduled and gets rescheduled.
And so I know the chairman continues to push for the committee to be able to do that transcribed interview.
And by the way, they won't release some of the documents, the government won't release documents of Devin Archer that they have in their possession.
Well, it all depends.
One of the issues you do have to navigate is any document that deals with tax information has to go through the Ways and Means Committee.
There has to be a majority vote in that committee to release that information, 6103, and that's to protect our confidential taxpayer information.
So Mr. Ziegler today, I think, a couple times on the witness stand, talked about documents he wants to turn over to the Ways and Means Committee, and then Chairman Smith and the committee can then look at those documents and vote to release those.
So it could be tied in with that as well.
Let's cut to the chase.
Your investigation is deep into the issue of whether or not our FBI is politicized and weaponized, and our Department of Justice is politicized and weaponized.
Is it, Congressman?
Are they?
Well, I believe they are.
And up until October 7th, Mr. Shapley and Mr. Ziegler said the prosecutors, because this is what the Democrats said.
They said, oh, the investigators always want to go forward with it with the prosecution.
But it's the lawyers.
It's the prosecutors who make the ultimate decision on charging what gets charged, and where it gets charged.
And the key here is, though, the prosecutors and the investigators were in complete agreement throughout the vast majority of this investigation.
It's like a four and a half year investigation.
They were in agreement, and then this meeting happens on October 7th.
Well, wait a minute.
David Weiss's office signed off on felony charges.
Did they not for Hunter Biden, tax charges?
Exhibit number two in their testimony.
Exactly right.
But then we get to this meeting and something changes.
And I would argue that something changes is this discussion that Mr. Weiss says he had with the Justice Department.
I think that's the key event I think that changes.
And that's why we're getting these over the last month, we're getting these three different explanations of what kind of authority he had.
Before their testimony is released, before Exhibit 2, which you just pointed out, Exhibit 10, which talks about the email he made of the October 7th meeting, Mr. Shapley made.
Before that all gets released in their testimony is public.
Mr. Weiss is saying, he's like town on his chest like Tarzan.
I got ultimate authority, including the responsibility for deciding where, when, and whether to file charges.
Well, that's not what happened in the October 7th meeting.
And there was six other people in that meeting.
And none of them have refuted what Mr. Shapley said took place.
And he made a contemporaneous email that he sent that day that spells it all out.
And the guy who received the memo, his boss, was in that meeting, and he confirmed what Mr. Shapley said.
So, again, the credibility...
Well, then let me ask you, juxtapose the treatment of the Bidens and factor in the treatment of Hillary Clinton.
No reasonable prosecutor would prosecute.
33,000 deleted subpoenaed emails, destruction of devices, a phony FISA warrant that even the Durham report said there was no corroboration of any of it.
They used the FISA warrant that they knew was not verifiable because they offered a steal of a million dollars.
All these other issues, nothing ever happens to Democrats here.
And I mean, what are the consequences going to be?
Can Merrick Garland continue as our Attorney General?
Well, the Speaker's been clear.
He said he thinks we're approaching a potential impeachment inquiry of folks at the Justice Department.
But that's the speaker.
And I said to you, Sean, on your show here and your TV show that, look, when you go down that road, you know what this was like four years ago when I was on the other side.
If you decide to go down that road in an impeachment road, it consumes everything in the Congress.
Our entire Republican conference, I think, needs to make that decision together.
But it's got to be based on the facts.
And that's why we're getting all the facts.
Because if you do, I know what it was like back in 2019, sitting in the bunker in the basement of the Capitol going through all that, deposing.
I mean, I know what that's like.
And maybe that's where we got to go, but we've got to continue to get the facts.
And then we also got to use the appropriations process and this Pfizer reauthorization that's coming up to make changes so we can protect Americans' liberties.
Wow.
This is pretty, this is really, really important.
You know, Congressman, this is so important.
If we don't have equal justice under the law and equal application of our laws, and we have a weaponized justice system, you might as well take that document known as the Constitution and shred it.
Because it is the foundation of the rule of law in our country.
And that's what I see happening before our eyes.
I know you're going to get to the bottom of it.
And I know we're going to find out that this money is real.
What did these countries expect for all the millions of dollars they did in business with the Biden family syndicate?
We know that Hunter had no experience, $6.5 million from Burisma.
We know that Joe leveraged a billion taxpayer dollars to fire the prosecutor investigating his son so he can continue to get paid.
And son of a B, they did it.
And there's a lot of meat on this bone.
And with all the talk about, you know, Donald Trump and target letters and indictments here, there, and everywhere, you got to imagine this is now coming to a head.
Do you believe that this will go back to Joe Biden?
Last question.
Well, we'll see.
You know, we've got to just follow the facts.
That's what I always do in this thing.
I said I never want to get ahead of the facts because the facts are so compelling right now.
And I do think the changing story from the Justice Department is really important when you look at their version of what's happened, how it continues to change.
Remember, John, too, this is the same Justice Department that said pro-life Catholics were extremists, parents were terrorists, and was censoring American speech.
You look that record versus these whistleblowers, I think the country sees who's telling the truth.
Congressman Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, thank you.
We'll continue.

No, you don't.
But you can owe the IRS and have massive amounts of money that you owe them.
And oh, I'll take care of this.
I can handle those myself.
That's nuts.
Now, by the way, it's not a matter of if.
It is when the IRS will catch up with you if you have issues.

One word, rushtaxresolution.com.
All right, let's get to our busy phones.
Christina in the Buckeye State, Ohio.
What's up, Christina?
How are you?
Glad you called.
Where are you in Ohio?
I am right around Akron area.
Know the area well.
Glad you called.
What's going on?
I'm calling to go over the cocaine in the White House.
Yeah.
Take this very, very personally.
And I'll tell you why.
I have a daughter who is addicted to Joe's drugs.
And I call them Joe's drugs because he's allowing them to come in through our borders.
And she is in county jail in Tennessee.
This is your daughter.
How old is your daughter?
24 years old.
By the way, I'm very sorry to hear this.
By the way, there's not a person listening to this program that doesn't know or somebody that has an addiction problem.
It is beyond an epidemic.
Alcohol addiction, drug addiction, all sorts of gambling addiction.
It's terrible.
Everybody who's hearing this, our president is slapping us in the face the way that he touts his son.
I am Italian, originally from New York, and I would never condone.
I would never defend my daughter's actions.
But last week, she overdosed in Tennessee.
In jail.
She overdosed in jail.
In jail.
Do you know what drug she took?
Her.
They had a NAR can her five times, Sean.
So she really came close to dying.
She died.
They brought her back.
Wow.
Within 24 hours, they were able to find out who brought the drugs in.
So if you're telling me, our White House, my house, the people's house, the house that our tax money pays for, that the Secret Service could not find out whose drugs those are, that's a lie.
That's a slap in my face.
The fact that we have a president.
I would think in maybe a weird way, and correct me if I'm wrong, there's a part of you that might be glad when she went to jail, thinking, okay, you know, she's not going to get drugs in jail, although we know drugs actually are pretty prevalent in some jails.
Slept.
I have not slept.
The only time I sleep is when my daughter is in jail.
I know she's not getting raped.
I know she's not getting hunted down by drug dealers.
I know she's not overdosing where some sleazy person is walking over her dead body to get away from the cops.
When she's in jail, that's when I can sleep.
Now I can't sleep even when she's in jail, as sad as that may be.
I don't even know what to say, except I'm sorry.
And Sept, I'm sorry that your daughter's going through this.
I'm sorry, as a parent, you're living through this nightmare.
I know many, many parents who have.
I know parents that have lost their children.
I know parents that, you know, their kids have died from fentanyl-laced drugs.
I know way too many people whose lives have been impacted by this.
And it, you know, there's an old saying, you're only as happy or only can be happy as your saddest child is.
In other words, you just, if your kids are struggling, you cannot have happiness.
And I know that to be true.
Just a fact.
You know, I foolishly actually believe, Christina, at one point, you know, when my kids were growing up, oh, they'll go to college and my job's done and it's over.
I'll be an empty net.
No.
I can't even believe how dumb I was because you never stop worrying about your kids ever.
You just don't.
Even when everything's going great in their life, you're still worried because there's trouble everywhere.
I'm kind of fortunate that both my kids are really, if they're addicted to something, it's fitness.
I mean, they just are fitness, you know, that's all they've known their whole life.
They've been athletes their whole life.
And so that, to me, is a much better, healthier addiction than, you know, any of the things we're talking about here.
I'm very sorry.
I really am.
But you're right.
Open borders, fentanyl.
Yeah, you're right.
It's terrible.
And we should be doing a lot more.
You know, President Trump said last night, and I don't think this portion aired because I think it was during the QA.
One of the people in the crowd asked, and we have not aired that part yet, and we'll have it on this week.
What should we do to stop drugs in this country?
And he said, well, I asked President Xi if they have a drug problem in China.
And President Xi said, no, hell no.
We don't have any drug problems.
And he said, one of the reasons is if you're a drug dealer, he said, the average drug dealer, and I'd never heard this statistics before, this statistic before, and I'll let you know when this is going to air.
Will kill, I mean, the people that sell the hard drugs.
They'll kill between 600 and 700 people each.
And especially now because they're lacing everything, even weed with fentanyl.
And he said that President Xi said, no, we just give the death penalty to drug dealers and drug users, you know, get severe penalties.
And I don't really know any other way than that because, you know, how these people can sell drugs, $10 bags, knowing that they're laced with fentanyl and people can die for, what, $10?
Really?
You have that little regard for human life?
You don't care about the person.
You just want the money.
I don't know.
That's soulless to me.
Really is.
But, you know, we'll pray for your daughter, Christina.
I don't know anything else to do.
I hope she can get the counseling in prison that would save her life and change her life and alter her life.
You know, I did go to a prison once, Rikers Island, and I spoke and it was for a Christian group.
They never invited me back because I used real street language when I was there.
And the reason I did is because they wouldn't relate to me any other way.
That's how I felt in the moment.
And I think I was right.
I think my instincts were right.
And there had been a guy that they were stomping their feet in frustration because the guy was just preaching and preaching and preaching.
And they're like, oh, shut up.
So the first thing I said is when I stood up and their families were there, they just successfully completed a program.
And I asked the families, would you mind if I faced them?
They were behind me.
I was at a podium.
I said, do you mind if I face the prisoners themselves?
And they were fine with that.
And I said, all right, first thing I want you to know is I'm not going to go longer than five, seven minutes, Max.
They were like thrilled.
And then I went very, you know, hardcore street New York, talked to them.
Well, you want to be a blanking idiot?
People blank an idiot.
Half of you are going to be blanking idiots.
Half of you are going to come back here after you get out of here.
Half of you are going to go right back to the dopey friends and the dopey lifestyle you were living that got you in here.
Half of you are never going to have your own apartment, never going to have a girlfriend, maybe a wife, family, kids.
You're not going to have the ability to get the pizza where and when you want it, the McDonald's, where and when you want it, whatever your favorite food happens to be, where and when you want it.
I said, that's up to you.
Half of you are a bunch of dumb and you're going to blow it.
And I said, then I said to them, here's my advice.
Never ever go around those friends that get you into trouble.
And if it means friends and family, stay away from them too.
And if it means you have to pack and move someplace, you know, work two shifts every day at a fast food place, go do it.
You know, get a studio little apartment and build your life back.
That's what I advise them.
I don't, you know, I never got invited back.
I'm not surprised, but I hope one person heard me, it was worth the hours that I spent going to that jail.
Anyway, we're praying for you, Christine, okay?
She's doing okay now.
But we also have a media problem because the media is like, oh, well, Hunter Biden was on crack and he can't be held accountable for what he did while he was on crack.
Well, then why is my kid sitting in jail?
Great question.
That's a great question.
And we know why because we have a dual system of justice in this country.
I really do.
I really, my heart really goes out to you.
I'm very sorry you have to live through that.
And I know parents that are living through it and people relating to what I'm saying here and what you're saying and what you live through.
Christina, God bless you.
Gunther in Georgia.
Hey, Gunther, how are you?
Hey, Sean and Miss Linda.
How you doing?
It's Gunther.
I'm calling from Fort Stewart, Georgia.
Yes, sir.
Glad you called.
Man, yes, sir.
I just wanted to make a comment on the West Wing incident.
So in terms of background, I'm a retired military police colonel in the Army, okay?
And I was blessed being on, I was selected to be the personal security officer, PSO, for a guy named Donald Henry Rumsfeld.
Okay, so over the years, I did that assignment for two years.
So I've been in the West Wing several times.
So my point to your audience, and I thank you and Linda for what you folks do.
I've been listening to you and watching you for years.
You're absolutely like the last reality out here, I think, other than the food network.
But my point is this.
I've been through there.
I try to think about it.
Over a two-year period, I've been through the West Wing of the White House probably 25, 30 times with Mr. Rumsfeld.
That place is wired tight with CCTV.
Okay.
So for somebody to be able to tell me, and those cameras are on 24-7, okay?
And so for somebody to tell me, even in my current position, where I have over 400 cameras around this installation, that they can't go back in and see who did that.
I'm just, I'm just, I'm astounded.
I'm astounded with our Secret Service is my point, sir.
So, Gunther, it's Linda, and hi to you, too.
You know, I wanted to just ask you a quick question.
So, I've been saying this for a couple of days this week.
You know, if that's true what you're saying, and I believe that it is, I mean, this is the people's house, and we want to protect our president and our elected officials and all of his cabinet and administration.
My question to you, sir, and thank you for your service as well, is with your background, having worked for someone like Rumsfeld, you know, does it make any sense to you why maybe not one of these Secret Service agents might not have spoken out by now?
That's the thing that baffles me.
No, no, I think they're being, how would I say?
I mean, I think somebody at the top, okay, and I don't know how much I could say on this phone call, but no, somebody's snuffing this out.
Again, I've been there.
Okay, I could go from where I'm sitting right now.
I could go back into another room right now, okay, and I've had an office in the Pentagon, and I could pull up recordings of what's going on.
And so it's just, it's an absolute fallacy in my mind where they take 10 or 11 days and then come out and nothing comes back from it.
They've got to have footage of that.
So it's a total lie.
It's a total cop-out.
It is.
It is.
And it's, I mean, okay, so who holds somebody accountable for like, hey, I want to see the tape footage because they have it.
I mean, I'm doing it right now on a military installation, the largest military installation east of the Mississippi River.
I mean, we do it every day, 24-7.
So you're right, Ms. Linda.
I mean, it's an absolute lie.
And, you know, it goes back to so many things that absolutely disgust me.
But somebody needs to be held accountable.
Okay.
So in my opinion, okay, this is a dumb Army retired guy.
Okay.
Guess what?
Somebody brought cocaine into the White House.
Okay.
There's cameras everywhere.
Like I said, I don't know, probably 30, 30 is probably a good number that I actually walked through one step left, one step behind.
The Secretary of Defense, I've walked through there.
