I want to try to make it look like I made some compromise in the debt ceiling.
I didn't.
I made a compromise on the budget.
We finally were able to cut spending.
We're the first Congress to vote for cutting spending year over year.
Let's go back to pre-COVID levels of spending.
That's what we asked for.
We're not.
This deal doesn't do that.
Do they still have to worry about the progressive caucus and whether or not your caucus will support?
Yes, they do.
Okay, Congresswoman Jaya Paul, thank you so much.
They have to worry.
Yes, they have to worry.
Freedom is back in style.
REVOLUTIONAL The new Sean Hannity show.
More behind the scenes information on breaking news and more bold, inspired solutions for America.
All right, our two Sean Hannity show toll-free.
It's 800-941 Sean.
You want to be a part of the program?
As we come to you, we are in Des Moines, Iowa tonight for our town hall with President candidate Donald J. Trump.
It's going to be a lot of fun, I'm sure.
Hope you'll tune in, nine Eastern on Fox.
This apparently, we have a rowdy crowd down there already, I've been told, but that should be fine.
So we had been awaiting now.
If you recall, there was a document that James Comer, the head of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, he's the chairman, and Senator Charles Grassley right here of Iowa have wanted from the FBI.
And it had to do with a very specific instance, a claim that Joe Biden and his family enterprise accepted a $5 million payment, if you will, from a foreign national as vice president in exchange for specific acts that were taken.
Now, James Comer has subpoenaed the document along with Chuck Grassley, but his committee has subpoenaed it.
They had one deadline.
The FBI did not meet that deadline.
They were given a second deadline, and the FBI is yet to turn it over.
And the Bureau says that Christopher Wray, while he offered Chairman Comer the opportunity to view the document in a secure setting, when I read that yesterday, I said, all right, well, that might be a middle ground that's acceptable.
Until last night on TV, I had James Comer on, and James Comer says to me, yeah, there's one problem is there's going to be redactions all over it.
Here with reaction is the House Oversight Committee Chairman, James Comer, is with us.
Sir, how are you?
Well, Sean, how are you?
You know, so I thought I was pretty smart yesterday.
I read all the articles about your phone call with Director Ray, and I'm like, okay, well, Director Ray is coming around a little bit.
At least he's willing to allow you to see it in a closed-door environment, maybe in a skiff or something like that.
And not one article that I read mentioned the word redacted.
And it's not often I get surprised on my own show, and I'm like, of course it's redacted.
I should have known better.
And of course, it wasn't covered properly, but that's a big deal.
And what's your reaction to that phone call yesterday?
Well, since I went on your show today, we've gotten another call from the FBI because I said we're going to proceed with the contempt of Congress charges.
We're going to have a markup in the Oversight Committee next week, and it was going to be the first thing on the docket.
We got a call from the FBI saying they would bring the form to the Capitol on Monday and let me and Jamie Raskin, who's my Democrat counterpart on the committee, view it.
And I took the call like they would try to limit the redaction.
So we're going to see what happens.
But, Sean, well, did they in any way suggest that it would be redacted?
Well, no, because they heard, I think they were watching my interview on your TV show last night.
I'm very grateful to hear that the head of the FBI is a viewer of Sean Hannity.
I doubt he's a fan.
You know, I have the IRS hitting my guts, you know, because they just audit me.
It's like, oh, Hannity, pull the pile.
Hannity pull the file.
So I figure now the FBI, Hannity, pull the file.
Here we go now with them.
I'm glad he's watching the show, but the reality is they didn't tell you if it was going to be redacted or not.
Well, I think they listened to my concern about excessive redactions.
If they want to redact the human source, that's fine.
And if we had the document and made it public, which I'm not saying we would, but if we did, we would protect the human source.
But you have to understand, Sean, with the phone call, and we went through this for 40 days.
The director never would even admit that they had the form, that the form existed until Grassley informed me that we had already read the form.
So from a whistleblower.
So the question that we have is what has the FBI done to investigate this?
You look at the Steele dossier.
There's more credibility and a stronger source with this accusation on the Biden 1023 form than there ever was with the Steele dossier.
But they went all in on the Steele dossier.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised, Sean, and this is based on conversations I've had with people in the FBI that are communicating with us, if they have never even investigated this allegation.
Because when you read the allegation, it's kind of hard to believe until you watch the press conference that we had, the oversight committee had three weeks ago, where we showed the Biden set up shell companies for the specific purpose of laundering money from foreign nationals that were benefiting from American policy and American foreign aid when Joe Biden was vice president.
Then a light bulb goes off and says, oh, my God, this accusation has merit.
And that's what we want to know.
We're trying to follow the money and we're trying to figure out where in the hell is this money coming from?
I mean, why are the Biden family members getting this money?
Let me go to the source for a second.
Now, you've had the document.
You know who the source is.
You already know what's in the document.
But yeah, what's that, sir?
We don't possess the document.
We viewed the document.
You viewed the document, so you know what's in the document.
Yes.
Okay, and you find your source to be credible.
I doubt you and Senator Grassley would say it's credible if, in fact, it wasn't.
I would find that hard to believe.
Why would you put yourself out there only to be, you know, have this blow up in your face?
That makes no sense.
But this document, very clearly, you're saying, connects money given to the Biden family, if I'm not mistaken, $5 million in exchange for specific acts that Joe Biden took as vice president.
Is that accurate?
That's pretty accurate.
And remember, when we had that press conference three weeks ago, we showed similar activity in Romania.
And this country that's mentioned in the 1023 form, but we haven't disclosed yet, it's not Romania.
So there's a pattern here that would suggest that this allegation has merit.
And look, we haven't even gotten through all the bank accounts, but it looks like there are probably going to be media is covering this.
The Washington Post for three weeks implied that we made this up.
There never was a 1023 form, that there never was a whistleblower.
Then it comes out yesterday, and Ray basically admits that they have the 1023 form and all that.
And now the Washington Post is discrediting the whistleblower.
They don't even know who the whistleblower is.
I mean, the media in their hypocrisy and their quest to defend the indefensible with the Biden is breathtaking.
But the one thing that the defenders and the media won't accept is this family's created all these shell companies and they're getting millions of dollars.
We've already proven that with bank records.
I mean, the fact that this allegation was made and probably never been investigated should be of concern to everyone.
Well, the reason that I would have the same suspicion you have is because, frankly, the FBI deserves that suspicion.
We now know from the Durham report, just like we knew from the Michael Horowitz report, that in fact that the FBI, we now know from Durham, never should have opened Operation Crossfire Hurricane, that that investigation was completely unwarranted.
We know that it was based on a bought and paid for Russian disinformation, unverifiable, now debunked dossier that was paid for by Hillary Clinton.
We know that the FBI ran with this hookline and sinker even after they found out that Christopher Steele, the author of the dossier, couldn't even accept a million-dollar bounty that the FBI offered him if he could corroborate the dossier.
And from there, we know that the sub-source, Dan Chenko, he said this was bar talk.
This was never meant for anything as serious as a presidential election.
And yet the FBI used that for a full year as the foundation of not one, but four FIS applications.
It says on the top of a Pfizer application, verified, it was unverifiable.
Okay, that's the FBI putting their cinder blocks on the scale of an election in 2016.
Now, Donald Trump still managed to win that election.
Now in 2020, they take it to a whole new level.
And this is where this goes hand in hand, or it's in tandem with your investigation.
And that is in December of 2019, the FBI has a copy of Hunter Biden's laptop.
And according to John Solomon, justthenews.com, he said that the FBI verified the authenticity of that laptop.
By the way, all you had to do was open it, and you see pictures of Naked Hunter and hookers and smoking crack cocaine and et cetera, et cetera, on top of other incriminating information, even about his own father.
So they could have probably verified the authenticity of that much earlier.
But anyway, so they authenticated it.
But in spite of that, they never got to the bottom of it, even though we know there were specific crimes right there in broad daylight for anybody to see, including the drug use and prostitution, et cetera.
And then by the time we're leading into the months up to the lead up of the 2020 election, we know that the FBI was meeting weekly with big tech companies, warning them they could be victims of a misinformation campaign.
And that misinformation campaign might be about Joe Biden or it might be about Hunter Biden.
Okay, so then the laptop comes out vis-a-vis the New York Post.
Now, don't forget that the FBI not only had their copy way earlier, but they also knew Rudy Giuliani had a copy.
So they knew the odds were high that this thing was going to leak at some point.
And then they scare the living hell out of big tech companies, making them think that whatever information is about Hunter or Joe Biden is misinformation because the FBI has been telling us that every week.
Is that a fair summation?
That's 100% fair.
100% accurate.
Okay, so then why should we trust the FBI when it comes to anything in terms of investigative work involving the Bidens?
Right.
Well, the fact that that's a perfect example.
You know, if you remember, Sean, when the computer repair guy gave the FBI the computer and then they came back and looked at it, after they looked at it, they came back and visited the repair guy and said, do you have, did you make any copies?
And he said, no.
Well, they assumed that that was it and that the case was closed.
What they didn't realize was their work options made, thankfully, for transparency reasons.
That's a good thing.
And now we all have a copy of the laptop.
But that was an example of the FBI trying to cover this up.
And all along the way was what you're seeing with the whistleblower at the IRS.
They were told to stand down by the DOJ, told to stand down on the obvious tax violations from Hunter Biden.
If the IRS even knew about the shell companies, I mean, I can't imagine.
You can multiply times 10 what type of tax violations they'll have.
Not only was he not paying taxes on his reportable income, he had all this income he was hiding in these shell companies.
But the DOJ called him to stand down.
Well, by the way, didn't they arrest Paul Manafort on the issue of not registering as required by the Farah laws?
Jonathan Turley talks about that all the time.
You know, that's another thing you could nail Hunter Biden on, being an unregistered foreign agent.
But then you've got this 1023 form, and we don't know for sure because the FBI won't tell us, but I don't believe that this has ever even been investigated because the claim is very outrageous until you look at what we produced a few weeks ago to where they have created these shell companies.
And there is a pattern of money being wired to the Biden shell companies from foreign nationals in countries where Joe Biden was in charge of foreign policy at the end of the Biden administration.
All right, quick break more with House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer on the other side.
Don't forget our town hall with Donald Trump tonight from Iowa.
All right, we continue with House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer is with us.
Let's assume you get the document, and they're not denying it's a real document, and we know who the whistleblower is.
I would imagine that a full-fledged investigation by the FBI is going to go into whether or not Joe Biden took a $5 million bribe and performed acts as vice president in exchange for that money.
That sounds like influence peddling at the highest level and a betrayal of his country.
It's the most serious accusation that's ever been leveled against any American politician, in my opinion.
But did you look?
We think a similar thing happened in Romania.
We have some more countries we're going to present in the near future where the same type of activity happened.
Joe Biden lands in Air Force 2 there.
He flies off.
Less than two weeks later, money starts flowing into these shell companies that the Bidens created.
I mean, there's some bad stuff going on.
And for the FBI to slow walk us and not even admit that that form existed until we tell them that we've seen it, it says a lot about the current state of the FBI in America.
Well, and now they're harassing John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer repair guy.
Apparently, I guess they've been going after him, the lawyers for Hunter Biden.
Did you hear about that?
Listen, the lawyers, Sean, for Hunter Biden, in my opinion, have crossed the line with intimidation tactics, with the tactics that they're trying to do to dissuade people from communicating with us, to threaten, intimidate.
I mean, it's just mind-boggling what's going on here.
And the media is, instead of having any sense of curiosity about how the Biden family receives all these payments or whether they just give them a pass.
Attacking me.
Welcome to my world.
That's the world I live in every day.
But Congressman, we're not going to give up following this story.
It's too important.
We really appreciate your time and your efforts.
And I look forward to what happens on Monday if you get to see this thing.

All right, let's get to our busy phones here.
Michael is in Minnesota.
Michael, hi, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Wish you were with us in Iowa.
Thanks, Sean.
You know, I don't know how much thought the GOP has put into this, but, you know, when you're trying to predict what the left's going to do, you've got to think what's the worst case?
What's the most diabolical, disruptive thing that they can do?
And I honestly believe they're going to let Donald Trump get the nomination, and then they're going, the D.C. circuit is going to set everything aside.
They're going to devote their time and resources 100% into getting an indictment, a trial, and a conviction within three or four months.
So what's going to happen when comes September, our nominee for president is put in prison?
Well, have you thought that far ahead?
What are they thinking about?
Well, I've thought that far ahead.
First of all, you know, Does it complicate things if everything you're predicting is true?
Yeah, it complicates things a lot.
Now, we know that the New York trial date with Alvin Bragg and that total BS case at New York, that begins in mid-March.
Mid-March happens to be the middle of the primary season.
So is the timing a little bit suspect?
In my mind, of course it is.
Is all of this or a lot of this political or Letitia James, the AG?
Remember, you had both Alvin Bragg and A.G. Letitia James run campaigns saying they're going to go after one man, Donald Trump, one organization, the Trump organization, one family, the Trump family.
That's what they said they would do.
So that's happening.
As it relates to issues involving Georgia, they're talking about July or August, you know, possible charges hanging out there.
I don't know what the status of the special counsel is, except that anecdotally, the people that I talk to are giving me information and saying that the level of scrutiny has been intense and the number of people that have been called in have been many and that he seems to be going down multiple paths.
But it's interesting we hear about the special counsel against Donald Trump.
When's the last time you heard a peep about the special counsel looking into Joe Biden?
We haven't had a single word said about him.
And it just shows you and confirms again yet the latest example.
I think in America, equal justice of our laws is non-existent.
I think equal application of our laws is non-existent.
And we have a dual justice system.
That's why, you know, Jim Jordan and his committee are looking into whether the FBI is politicized and the DOJ has been weaponized.
So we've got a lot of answers, you know, to come in the future.
But that obviously, and I'll ask President Trump about this tonight, that is not to this point deterred him, does not seem like it will deter him.
I've had to bet it won't deter him, and he's going to stay in the race and he's going to fight to the bitter end.
And do I think that the left in this country wants him in an orange jumpsuit and put away forever?
I do.
And they, you know, we spent three years on the Russia hoax and all these networks that lied, you know, three broadcast networks, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSDNC, Fake News, CNN.
You know, look at the New York Times and the Washington Post get Pulitzers for wrong stories.
And it turns out to all have been completely a phony investigation.
Three years.
How many more times are we going to have to go through this?
Why wasn't Joe Biden's University of Delaware or UPenn offices raided when they found out that they had, or his home raided, when they found out he had top secret classified documents?
This ought to scare every American because at this point now, we're at a tipping point.
Because if you don't have equal justice under the law, you don't have a constitution.
Thanks, Luka.
Appreciate it.
All right, let's go to Kevin is in Idaho.
Kevin, hi, how are you?
Welcome to IO.
It's the Sean Hennedy Show.
Hey, Sean, thanks for having me.
I'd like to talk about Speaker McCarthy.
He was on your radio show and your TV show multiple times with that little white piece of paper talking about if we gave the Republicans a majority and he got the speakership, that the first thing that he would do was repeal those 87,000 IRS agents.
And he had a chance to do it, and he didn't.
He took $1.4 billion, I think, away from him, which is going to give us, what, 83,000 IRS agents?
Then Republicans in the House had the big debate to elect McCarthy to the speakership, and they put that provision in there, you know, the one vote to get him out.
And he did exactly what he said he wasn't going to do.
So now it's well, that's the motion to vacate.
Well, he did part of what he said he would do.
He didn't do it all.
And I'm just giving you my take.
Now, am I happy with this deal?
Absolutely not.
Am I happy with the way the deal went down?
No, absolutely not.
Do I think he made a fundamental error by not regularly informing and discussing what concessions, if any, that his caucus would be willing to make?
I think that was a mistake on his part.
You know, he lost 71 votes last night.
That's a lot of votes.
Whether or not somebody brings up a motion to vacate, time will tell.
Whether or not the anger dissipates, time will tell.
I don't know.
But certainly, I would have preferred a much stronger fight.
I think he had a much stronger hand than maybe he realized.
And I think that the Republicans just stood back and said, we did our job.
We raised the debt ceiling.
We're being fiscally responsible.
We're keeping our promises to the American people.
Where's your debt ceiling increase, Bill?
Because we can't see it.
He already had 44 senators that would stop cloture.
And that means the Senate wasn't going to pass a bill.
Biden can't pass a bill on his own.
So the White House was pretty much painted into a corner, and I think he could have taken greater advantage of that.
Yeah, I think so, too.
Do you think that if the Republicans would have tried to push that bill that they passed, that it wouldn't have made it through the Senate?
Do I think it wouldn't have mattered at that point?
You know, look, one of the things that bothers me is everybody really starts believing that America is going to default as of the drop-dead date given by Janet Yellen of June the 5th.
That was never going to happen under any circumstances because we could have paid our debts.
We could have paid our military.
We could have taken care of Social Security and Medicare because money is coming in every single day to the federal government.
They're called taxes, and they receive them every day.
And you use that money to pay your bills, to pay your debts, to pay the military, to pay Social Security, to pay Medicare.
I mean, they're taking in record numbers of money.
So, you know, trying to force Congress to live within their means always seems to be difficult.
I think up to this point, as far as I was concerned, McCarthy was doing great.
And I think this was probably his biggest test.
And I really was not particularly happy with the result.
There's my answer.
I would not have voted for the bill.
Yeah.
Mr. Henney, do you think tonight when you have that town hall of the president, you could ask him one question?
I'll take requests.
I can't guarantee it.
Go ahead.
Okay.
Do you think he would support term limits in Congress and the Senate?
I think he's answered that.
I'm not sure if he's for term limits.
I don't think so.
But, you know, if I have time, we've got a lot of ground to cover tonight.
We've got an economy that's in shambles.
We've got foreign policy that's a disaster.
We've got a new axis of evil that the world is dealing with.
He's got people trying to kill him every single day politically.
And so there's a lot to get to tonight.
And I've got a, and the audience, I've got to share some time with them, which annoys me, but I'm going to do it.
I'm teasing for the people of Iowa.
I love the people of Iowa.
But, you know, we're going to try and cover as much ground as we can.
One thing I will tell you, this town hall is not going to be like fake news CNN.
I am not there to debate the candidate.
I am not there to argue with the candidate.
I am there to ask questions and let the candidate give their answer and let the audience ask their questions.
That's my job tonight.
That will be a great distinction.
Well, Hannity, you went easy.
You aren't like whoever the person was on Fake News CNN that did hers.
Okay.
She was doing that show for an audience, a group of fellow journalists, so she'd be accepted into that elite, you know, ridiculous blue checkmark media cult on Twitter that talk to themselves in a bubble that are out of touch with we the people.
So I'm doing the show so you can get answers from a presidential candidate that's leading for the Republican Party.
It's not about me debating the president and people can fact check him all they want afterwards, but the reality is I want to hear what he has to say in his own words and actually let him finish a thought, which was not very common during the first one.
Anyway, appreciate the call, Kevin.
Glad you're out there, buddy.
800-941.
Sean, you want to be a part of the program?
Let's get back to our busy phones.
Karen Marilyn Neck Sean Hannity Show.
Hey, Karen, how are you?
Fine.
Thank you, sir.
What's going on?
I wanted to call and kind of talk about the guy that called you yesterday about the Obamacare plan.
But before I say that, could I just say something about Linda?
Did Linda put you up to this?
She did, right?
No, she did not.
I have not spoken to Linda ever in my life, but I would love to.
I think she is the greatest thing on your show, besides your improvement.
Is that bad?
I'm not the greatest thing on my show.
Linda's the greatest thing on my show.
Is that what you're saying to me?
I'm sorry, sir, yes.
Well, why don't you sponsor the Linda McLaughlin podcast and let her have her own show?
I would never have time.
I'm too busy doing the Sean Hannity show.
Oh, but you're becoming a big star now.
Apparently, you're surpassing the host, dude.
In the minds of at least Karen and Marilyn.
You should have a day.
Karen, who I used to like.
What's on your mind, Karen?
So back to the guy that called you yesterday from California about the Obamacare thing.
Well, that was the liberal.
We spent a lot of time with that guy.
I know.
I know.
And he's very misguided.
I was on Obamacare because my company went out of business and I couldn't pay Cobra, so I went on Obamacare.
And my premiums when I started were $143 a month.
And I said, well, that's not so bad.
I'm getting unemployment.
I can pay that.
That was starting in March.
It went until December.
January 1st, I get my notice for my premium, and it's $529 a month.
What?
So it went from $140 to $529?
And I said, okay, so I'm not a millionaire.
And if I could afford the $500, I would have kept paying the Cobra.
Wow.
I quit paying everything, and I was without insurance.
In April of the following year, we went to file our taxes, and they asked me, did you have insurance all year?
And I said, no.
Well, you have to pay a $500 fine.
Yep.
Welcome to Obamacare.
Tried to warn everybody.
Nobody listened to me.
You ever notice nobody ever listens to me?
I did notice that.
I think that that might be fake news because you have 30 million listeners.
No, I think it's huge news that you got fined, even though they quadrupled, more than quadrupled your health care costs.
You couldn't afford it.
And then they fine you at the end of the process.
What do they think?
You're rich that now all of a sudden you can't afford a monthly payment, but you can afford the fine.
I mean, I mean, but this is government.
You know, don't think these IRS agents are going after, quote, rich people, because even Janet Yellen said 90% of these new agents are going to be going after people that make under $400,000 a year.
And I'll tell you why, because all those rich people have people called accountants, and they have lawyers that know every single loophole imaginable.
And they're doing their taxes, and they go over it with a fine-tooth comb.
At least if you have a brain, you got to pay your taxes or else they will come after you.
So, you know what?
The average person can't afford these accountants.
They're very expensive.
Trust me, I pay for them.
I pay for the lawyers, too.
I'm really sorry to hear that.
I really am.
That's outrageous.
That's outrageous.
Sad.
I'm glad his wife is alive, and I'm glad everything worked out for them.
But he didn't tell you what his premiums jumped to.
So I felt kind of.
Well, you're right.
I mean, there's only so much time I could give the guy, number one.
Number two, you know, I think it was pretty transparent where he was coming from.
I mean, there was nothing that Obama did that would be wrong in his eyes or nothing that Biden could do that's wrong in his eyes.
Appreciate it.
Karen, you hang in there.
I'm sorry about all that.
That's so unfair.
Yeah, let's go after the, we're only going to go after the rich.
Meanwhile, they can't afford a health care premium, so let's find the lady.
