It's Rose Unplugged, just about everywhere, but Twitter, Twitter, it's Rose Unplugged, present tense.
And uh help me build that back up again.
I had gone off for a very long time, and I'm back and need your help to build that up.
Rose unplug on Twitter, Rose Unplugged everywhere else.
I'm excited about my guest this afternoon.
Um he's got a a great ministry, and I I often tune in to see what he's talking about.
He talks a lot about liberty, he loves this country.
Um he is Pastor Jack Hibbs Real Life Ministry, and he's going to discuss with us today the mess that is our nation and world.
And his official location is Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills, but he's very known nationally by real life with Jack Hibbs.
How are you, Pastor Hibbs?
Rose, I'm doing great.
Thank you so much.
Yeah, I had you on, I think it was a probably a year ago, and I'm glad to have you back again.
I'm honored, thank you.
You know, this earlier today in the monologue, I talked a lot about the founding of this country, and I know you talk about that as well.
And it was with the understanding, I I had brought up and and I want to make this clear too to the audience.
I did earlier, but I I'm a Christian, yes, but you know, I know that there are uh people of the Jewish faith listening, Buddhists, um, people who study Islam.
It it doesn't matter what religion.
I think we can all agree, Pastor, that right now in this world there are a lot of crazy things going on, and and and some believe I just read how the Pope said, you know, we could be looking at end times.
There was a Gallup poll that was done suggesting that many people in the country believe the same that the the end times are near.
And so I think that we become a uh a country without hope for many people and and the I can the economy's so bad we're struggling with that.
So I asked you to come on to talk about these things, but before we do, I did want to talk about the founding fathers and how you know I I mentioned how King Solomon said the governments are always going to be corrupt.
But one of the things that were unique about our country and those who established it is that they understood that less government meant less corruption, and they wanted a a government that was by the people and and for the people, and that was exactly 246 years ago what they established for us.
And I think we've gotten so far away from that, haven't we?
Well, Rose, I yes.
I believe the the reason why uh lies at the doorstep of two institutions.
One of them is the educational institution in the United States.
In other words, we just don't teach history anymore.
Uh but mostly it's the institution of the church.
The church in America.
When you look at back our founding fathers, which you rightly just mentioned, the fact that all of them, now not all of them were Christians as evangelicals as we know.
Some of them were, but some but all of them believed in God.
Which is how do we know this?
Because they said so.
We don't have to make it up.
They said in their own writings, and that's what we need to get back to.
And and here's the issue, Rose, is the fact that we have stopped teaching our nation's history.
And and we did that a long time ago before wokism was ever invented.
We drifted away from the very morings that made this nation great.
Now, here's the genius of what you said earlier.
Only in the United States of America was a government founded that allowed all people of any belief or no belief to have the exact same rights and freedoms.
And that came from a Judeo-Christian worldview value.
I'm not making it up.
Because our founding fathers, predominantly Thomas Jefferson, got that way of thinking from John Locke in his famous two-volume set of of governance.
And so they were so secure, Rose, in their faith that they drew up uh a constitution and a Bill of Rights and a Declaration of Independence that even if you're an atheist, you were free to be an atheist in America, and all of the opportunities are open to you that anyone else has.
They fled England, our pilgrim fathers.
They did not want a government state church.
And so they preserved that.
And so here we come now, and Jefferson warned about this.
When we get away from God, he said, one of the evidences will be a plethora of laws will be written.
And look what's happening.
We've got you look at God.
God gave us ten commandments, and I don't know how I think there's seventy thousand commandments in the IRS code right now.
God gave us ten commandments that were just fine.
So yeah, our founding fathers believed that less government meant more power to the people, um, and they would hold a government in check, but it was all based upon men and women being elected to office that saw themselves answerable to Almighty God.
And we have the opposite now.
We've got people sitting in power that think they're God.
You know, that's the truth.
And now we're seeing it not just here in our country, but we're seeing it globally when the World Economic Forum is unafraid right now to tell us the plans that they have for us.
I mean, it's like socialism on steroids, and and we know that their goal is to eliminate free markets and uh do away with free enterprise.
But this is all a trick.
It's a way for the elitists to trick us into handing over our freedom in exchange for promises that that they can't keep.
In fact, they're not even making really any promises right now.
And and it's very oppressive, and it is it couldn't be further away from what was intended for all of us, especially in this country.
Oh, yeah.
Imagine.
Imagine for a moment um uh the the terrorist attacks, for example, of two thousand and one.
Notice how, in the face of fear, we handed over, so to speak, so many l liberties and freedoms.
Granted, we we we were under attack, and so the famous Patriot Act was uh put put into place, and it sounded good at the time, but now uh the government took that and ran with it to where they're looking at every part of our lives.
Whenever you surrender a freedom, you don't get it back.
And this is why the United States, even as messed up as she is, she's still the last line of defense, as it were, in the area of freedom.
I always say this, Rose, that we're the only country still in all the world that people are trying to break into to live here.
Uh it's the it's the last hope.
But why is it the last hope?
Because if we go back to our moorings of being a nation under God, and I'm not gonna pretend that we are right now.
We we're a courting babies, we're twisting marriage, we we've invented uh gender, all of these things, by the way, directly attack Genesis chapter one, just right from the beginning.
Which, as a pastor, I believe that there are invisible entities behind the physical actions that we see manifested in our world today.
I I'm not I'm not saying that Joe Biden is evil.
I'm saying that there's evil doctrines that are in the worldview thinking of people who are implementing what the Bible says is the sway of the wicked one, Satan desires to sway the governments.
And look what you mentioned the Pope a moment ago.
Um a lot of our listeners right now are not aware that in Abu Dhabi uh there are three structures that are going to be built.
One is a mosque, one is a synagogue, and one is a church, and the Pope um and a rabbi and an imam are to preside over what the Pope is calling um a a one uh united humanity.
Um but it's interesting, Rose, because you mentioned earlier the workings of Klaus Schwab, the World Economic Forum.
It's involved in that effort as well.
So we see this movement towards globalism, and here what what's in the way?
How come it hasn't happened ha faster?
Why aren't we doing a a one global currency?
What's the what's the deal?
The United States stands in the way.
We're like the ones with the finger in the dike holding back the flood, you know.
I hope we can continue to stand there with our finger in the dike.
You know?
You're right.
I don't think we will continue if we can either slide.
There's just no way.
We gotta stop the slide into the abyss.
And um I I agree with you, and I I don't want to interrupt it here.
I would like to go to break because when we come back, what I would like to do is is talk about what we need to do then as people who love freedom, and and regardless of our religion, who love freedom and want to preserve that and preserve the republic, despite all that's happening, and and and talk about risk.
I talked a little bit about Esther who had to take a risk, and even our founding fathers did as well.
So we're gonna take a break.
We're talking to Pastor Jack Hibbs, and we'll have more on the other side.
And let's talk about some risks that are necessary but are part of what should be the moral courage, the fiber of our very being if we care that much about this country and what God has blessed us with.
We'll be right back.
America listens to Sean Hennedy.
And he's on on right now.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass.
You're our kind of people.

Welcome back to the Sean Hannity Show.
My name is Rose sitting in for Sean today.
And I'm on the phone right now with Pastor Jack Hibbs of Real Life Ministry.
You can check him out at Jack Hibbs cal.
Some really great sermons on there, and I think you'll appreciate it.
And he really has his finger on what's happening in this country.
You can tell Pastor Hibbs that you really do love this country.
There's no doubt about it.
Well, I yes.
You know, you were asking the question about you know the hope and what can we do.
And Rose, I I hope our listeners are aware of the fact that um our liberties and freedoms were actually born in communities, in the very communities.
The epicenter of colonial America were the churches.
When the when the pastors preached, people were affected.
And how do I know this?
Because Samuel Adams writes about how he was affected by the pulpit ministries that gave him an understanding of liberty and of freedom.
Okay?
So it's Thomas Jefferson who said of Sam Adams, he embodied the spirit of the revolution, and without Samuel Adams, there would not have been a revolution.
Now, what does that mean to us?
Community.
Every pastor in America needs to know that God gave us American history for a reason, that this nation was founded upon the Judeo-Christian values you spoke about earlier.
But here's the deal.
Here's the hope.
And I got a report for you, Rose, that not many people are reporting on.
Okay.
It is our responsibility as citizens across this nation to be stewards of this constitutional republic that God's given us.
We can't sit it out.
We've got to vote.
People will say, well, it's it's filled with cheating.
Well, if you believe that, then you need to vote all the more because if you want to stop cheating, you can overwhelm cheating if everybody gets out and vote.
That's how you stop cheating.
But here's the beautiful thing that nobody's reporting on exactly.
And that is what has happened in the last two years, or the last two voting cycles, I should say, in California.
Why?
Because you know, Rose, that California passed a really dumb law about ballot harvesting.
Right.
It was the first state to do it.
And so within hours of that being passed, our office knew about it immediately.
So instead of surrendering to the fact that now it's so radically corrupt, we actually renamed it and called it ballot collection, and we started training people on how to do it.
We wound up doing it first of all in the California 25th district.
We did it in many other districts, and our candidates have won now in three, three now, three election cycles.
One special cycle, uh, and two of the uh primar one primary and one general.
Here's the thing, Rose.
We empowered people to educate them about the Judeo Christian responsibility over their nation.
The Bible says in Jeremiah twenty nine seven that we should speak to the welfare of our community where God has placed us.
So just this last election, for example, thirteen thousand registered voters brought in to the church as a as a state recognized location because the ballot collection, people brought their ballots nearly fourteen thousand.
Thirteen thousand three hundred and sixty-eight ballots were brought into the church and then within twenty-four hours, legally delivered to the county board of registrors.
And what happened?
We saw four congressional seats flip and go Republican.
Who cares?
You do, because it fired Nancy Pelosi.
If you remember the last few congressional seats that were determined in California elections.
That's right.
Um one in Northern California, which was never supposed to happen, and the other one, a friend of ours, Kevin Kylie.
And those uh those victories happened, Rose, because the churches said, hey, uh, here's your biblical worldview from the Bible, and vote for the candidate that is most likely or most closest to those values.
Understanding we taught everybody, no candidate's perfect.
We're not voting for Jesus.
That's right.
The Messiah, the Messiah's not coming in Air Force One.
We get that.
But as but we need to keep take care of our communities.
So school board, mayor races, city council, uh, state assembly, and U.S. Congress, remarkable effect in California.
And nobody's talking about it because I think that the woke leftist is just terrified of what's it's a really great story.
And you also good people got involved.
You should be commended for that.
In fact, I have to wrap this up, but um, Pastor Hibbs, thanks for sharing that story.
Some states like Pennsylvania are still living in the 2020 election and they need to move on and consider getting involved in the in the way in very much the way that you all did.
If you really want to affect change, then just get busy doing it and stop complaining about past elections.
Exactly.

Uh he's such a great friend and has been for my goodness.
I was trying to think, I think at least 23 years now when we were on several stations together, not on the same show, clearly, but uh but on the same stations.
And he's just been a great friend, and I always appreciate the opportunity to guest host for him.
My name is Rose joining me right now.
And I'm anxious to talk to her too, because there's much to talk about.
She's very busy there in the state of Florida.
She is there, Attorney General, Ashley Moody.
Ashley Moody, Attorney General Ashley Moody, how are you?
I'm great.
How are you, Rose?
Thanks so much for inviting me on the show today.
Yeah, thanks for taking the time to do that because there's a couple of things that we we really need to talk about, and they are so important.
And it doesn't just affect the people of Florida.
Your great state, by the way, my father lives there, but also it affects all of us all over the country, quite frankly.
I I think what we'll start with, though, is the recent story because we were all watching this unfold.
We we we saw the video of it, and that is the police officer who was who suffered from fentanyl poisoning.
It was uh Officer Courtney Bannock.
And uh gosh, she talked about later the moments leading up to that poisoning and and and the time that she collapsed, and thank God that she had let her fellow officers know that she thinks that she thought she was exposed to fentanyl, and then their quick action saved her life.
It was a really, you know, time-sensitive race to uh get aid to her.
You know, I don't know for your listeners that aren't familiar with what happened.
We had a law enforcement officer doing their job, made a traffic stop, noticed that there were ill illicit substances within the vehicle, took the passenger into custody, and as they were gathering up evidence, the officer who had made this routine stop, started having difficulty breathing, was going in and out of consciousness, and the officers that were with her had to rush Narcan, uh administered Narcan, and yes, three times.
So right when you came to and then was talking, she started losing consciousness again.
They had to administer more Narcan.
And this is something, Rose, that we've been warning about for some time.
And the real disappointing thing is how many people pushed back when I came out and started saying, you know, fentanyl is is now flooding our state because of the border, because of the breakdown and any sense of security at the border, which has been happening day by day by day since President Biden took office.
We are now seeing it all over our state.
We've seized enough fentanyl just in Florida in the last few months that would kill our entire population.
Oh my gosh.
So a couple months ago, I came out and said, Look, there's so much fentanyl in our country right now, and it is so potent.
There have been studies that show it can be used in mass casualty events.
This really needs to be declared a weapon of mass destruction.
And it has fallen on deaf ears.
I don't see any um you know urgency within this administration to start taking the type of action that that needs to happen.
And as we are butted up against the rescission of Title 42 next week, this type of incident where we have a cop overdose over a routine traffic stop, this is just going to get worse when Title 42 goes away, I fear, unless we start taking drastic actions and Biden stops walking back his policies, which have weakened the border.
Well, he said there are more important things than the border, General Moody.
So I mean, come on.
I'd like him to tell me what that would be because you know, when we talk about this, first of all, let's talk about fentanyl.
I mean, this is a poisoning.
This is not an overdose.
This is not, you know, oftentimes I'll hear or I've had on my own show people call in and say, Well, they were doing drugs.
No, they weren't.
Many this woman clearly was not doing drugs.
It was a routine traffic stop.
And I think that's the drug dealers.
Right.
I mean, if there's any clear example and and and we and we had a visual of it of just how potent this stuff is, how deadly uh fentanyl is.
And now we're hearing that that six out of ten fentanyl pills um uh contain a lethal dose where and and it's up from four out of ten, you know, and and they talk about how one pill can kill.
When we talk about the border, we're not just talking about migrants who are looking for a better way of life.
When you have this many people pouring in to a border that that cannot be controlled, that cannot be vetted, we we are looking at big problems.
And not just right now we're talking about how our children will be affected because many children have died, young people have died already from fentanyl poisoning.
Now we know that we are up against even larger numbers potentially um in the very near future.
We're not just talking about our children.
When you talk about how the children are treated um coming across the border, how they're being used, how they're being abused.
There's we're hearing now reports of organ harvesting, and we're hearing reports of of child trafficking and sex trafficking.
We're not just talking about our children, we're talking about all children.
At some point, we must admit that this is a uh a humanitarian crisis for God's sake.
It it is the number one killer of American adults right now, fentanyl.
The mass surges that are coming across the border because of the decimation of security at the border by Biden is causing all kinds of problems, not just burdening the taxpayers in every state.
When you have a flood into hospitals and schools and jails that no one was prepared for, that Biden has decided that we the states will now bear the brunt of because he wants to open our borders and let everything in.
And you are correct.
It is an onslaught, a catastrophe catastrophe like we've never seen sex trafficking, overdose victims.
Just this year, 98 people were stopped on the domestic terror on the terrorist watch list.
Just this year.
That's an outrage.
Right.
And here is what's so shocking to me.
I bless you for shining a light on this, talking about this, uh bringing it to light to those that are that are on this show today, but all of the media outlets that have turned a blind eye to this onslaught into our country, and what is about to, by the way, probably more than double.
Those are some loose estimates of what's going to happen next week when Title 42 is rescinded.
All of these media outlets that are not covering this, that aren't showing what is happening, they're their silence, their their inability to cover it, their unwillingness to cover it is either blatantly biased or they're complicit in all of this atrocity because it is happening.
Every day that this president has been in office, our country has gotten a little bit weaker in security, instability, and it's just gonna keep happening until people start paying attention, like you are, like other shows on this um radio network.
It it's so important that the American people go know what's going on.
I mean, we have an administration right now that is saying they just said this week they're prepared for the Title 42 rescission next week.
Well, I'm prepared for that.
Right.
Let me tell you how they were prepared.
They haven't released the plan, but you know they the plan I uncovered in court.
Their plan was called let's just let everyone in and open up the gates.
That's about it.
The broken arrow memo.
That was their plan.
We uncovered that in litigation.
And the chief of border patrol said he had never seen a plan like that in his entire over 30 year career with border patrol, which was basically we have no plan, open up the borders, let everybody in.
That's the only plan we've known so far.
That's the only plan I've seen in writing.
So I don't know what they're talking about.
They have a plan.
They certainly have it showed it to the American people.
You know, General Moody, I agree with you.
And I think it appears that some of the mainstream media is starting to be a little more honest about what's happening at the border.
You can't deny it.
But how many more children do we have to lose?
How many more lives was must we lose to fentanyl or to crime or to you know gang related crime?
This or how many children coming into this country have to die or or be abducted or used in horrible abusive ways before we say enough is enough.
And I I am just dumbfounded by this administration, by by Karine Jean-Pierre, who I I've got a story on that, and we'll get to that later.
Um who is in denial, this president who's in denial who suggests that there are other more important things.
Listen, people, we have got to be vocal, and we have got to be demanding in what we expect in terms of securing our border.
And while uh General Moody, I have you, and we're on the subject of protecting children.
I did want to bring something up.
I've got a couple of minutes here before we have to go to break, and then we'll try to follow up in the few minutes would have afterwards.
But I know that you have recently called on Apple and Google uh uh to to um to up the TikTok age rating because TikTok is very dangerous um to our young children here in this country.
I know that recently um we've seen that the House or the I'm sorry, the Senate is sent back to the House for a vote legislation that would ban uh TikTok on any governmental government device, but we really, and I know Marco Rubio and uh uh two I think Democrats um are also pushing that we be a little more uh stringent on what we are allowing to come from not only China but even other countries of interest.
So talk a little bit about why you're concerned about this age rating on TikTok.
Well, I I will tell you number one, I am also a mother.
I'm the attorney general, and I care about protecting every Florida child.
I am also the mother of a school age child, and I've seen the the things on TikTok, and we are in the middle of leading an investigation right now into the harms uh uh uh uh that are resulting with our children, and there is a lot of demand to um you know to to not allow this app on certain government devices,
and and that's dealing with data privacy, and certainly we need to address that and and understand what what data may be shared with the uh Chinese government, but you know, what we're investigating right now is uh the harm to our children as a result of these um this app.
And I can tell you without getting in too much detail because we're obviously still continuing our investigation, uh, but it is it is becoming abundantly clear to me that that more has to be done to educate parents about the effect on children from some of these apps and and social media in general, um, and that we've got to start being serious about what it's doing to our children and the next generation.
And so I I very much um think we need and I and I was joined by many other attorneys generals that's right around the nation and calling for this for the age to be raised.
Um we are just now seeing the results of what can what what's the effects on our children and um I think it's incredibly important.
Now, you know, there's two main concerns, and we'll still have to go down the path and look at both of these.
Number one, the aspects on our children and what exposure can we tolerate as a society for those children and um to to sustain their health and well-being.
But then the second is going to be the data privacy concerns.
And I know that there will still be investigations and and demands as for the safety of Americans information.
There's a lot to be concerned about there.
Attorney General, I'm sorry, Attorney General Ashley Moody of Florida.
Thank you so very much for joining us today.
Keep up the good work down there.
We really appreciate you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Great, great day.
You too.
And when we come back, I will talk to you about specifics where your children are at risk, particularly with TikTok.
So we'll do that coming up next.
We'll do that coming up next.
Focused on finding solutions to today's biggest problems.

Okay, so you know, we were talking to Attorney General Moody about TikTok briefly, and she's concerned about the age.
Uh they go down to a quite young age on TikTok.
But you know, here's something that's interesting too.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this, parents, and you really do need to.
I know that the phones become something that you know kind of keeps your kids busy, and but you really do have to stay on top of these things because you know, researchers were working.
I mean, I thought it was interesting.
There was a report that was published, I think Wednesday, and it pointed to concerns about social media and the impact that it has on our youth, particularly their mental health.
And it's had a very negative impact, quite frankly.
And they made here's these researchers got together, and what they did, and they, by the way, they work with the Center for Countering Digital Hate.
What they did is they made fake accounts on TikTok, and and they wanted it to look like they were, you know, those accounts were being run by teenagers.
Then those people, these researchers that were running the fake accounts would like certain posts or videos that had to do with, say, eating disorders or self-harm.
And what they were hoping to establish was uh to make a determination on how TikTok's algorithms would respond to all of this.
Um, and then they didn't have to wait very long.
They said it was only a matter of minutes before TikTok started recommending videos on weight loss, self-harm, suicide, even pictures of razor blades, people, razor blades.
And the researchers went so far as to establish accounts that had some sort of disorder within its username.
And they found even more harmful content when they did that.
So here's what the Center for Countering Digital Hate, CEO Hamed had to say about all of that.
He said it's like being stuck in a hall of distorted mirrors where you're constantly being told you're ugly, you're not good enough, maybe you should kill yourself.
It's literally pumping the most dangerous possible messages to young people.
And parents, you should be very, very concerned about how vulnerable your children are.
I mean, they are at risk.
Uh, the TikTok app has access also, it's a security risk to contacts to phone emails, calendars.
Something to really watch out of, you know, for it really is.
