Coming up next, our final news roundup and information overload hour.
All right, news, Roundup Information Overload Hour, Sean Hannity Show, 800-941-Sean.
Our number, if you want to be a part of the program, we're in Vegas today, Hannity Town Hall tonight, 9 Eastern on Fox.
This is a very close Senate race.
Adam Laxalt now in the lead against incumbent Catherine Cortez Masto.
So we're going to see what happens in this race.
We're taking nothing for granted.
That's why we're out on the road highlighting the radicalism of all of these candidates.
And for example, Masto, you want to know why you have a 41-year high of inflation?
You know, what do we call the Inflation Reduction Act?
We call it the Tax the Poor, Middle Class, and People on Fixed Income Act.
She's another radical Democrat that literally sent a letter to the Department of Veterans Affairs calling for an immediate action to ensure abortion-related services to vets and eligible dependents.
Again, another radical, no restrictions at all as it relates to abortion.
You can have an abortion in the third trimester up to the moment of birth.
When it comes to borders, safety, and security, she voted to end Title 42.
She voted against an amendment that would have blocked illegal immigrants from receiving stimulus checks.
Can you believe this?
We give illegal immigrants preferential treatment in this country.
No vaccine mandate, no COVID test, nothing.
She is a completely green New Deal radical get off fossil fuels socialist.
By the way, when you look at her in-state versus out-of-state contributions, 87%, according to Open Secrets, of her money is coming from out-of-state.
It's not coming from Nevada.
Not even a little bit.
By the way, she voted against Anwar Energy Exploration.
She voted against advancing the Keystone XL pipeline.
She voted against a legislation to prohibit a fracking ban.
She's against fracking and wants us all to pay more for energy and beg foreign countries that hate us.
Happens to be very wealthy in her own right.
By the way, there was a Free Beacon story that Senator Masto apparently honors a drag queen for working with children.
This was in the Free Beacon, July 7th.
In addition to his rousing roller ring stories, Christopher Daniels, the drag queen, has dismissed concerns from parental units in America that sexually explicit materials are influencing young and impressionable minds and youth.
Daniels said the complaint is total BS.
All right.
Anyway, she's also one of the people that are not exactly fond of the police and law and order and safety and security.
So we have a defund the police candidate running in Nevada.
Anyway, here is Adam Laxalt's latest ad.
Washington politicians lie, but you can always trust your eyes.
Biden's border is not secure.
Crime is rising and we're all less safe.
Inflation isn't going away.
Gas and groceries are too expensive.
I fought for America in Iraq, and I fought for Nevada as Attorney General.
Now I'm fighting for my family and yours.
Nevada Senator shouldn't be a partisan rubber stamp.
We have to save America.
I'm Adam Laxalt, and I approve this message.
So at our town hall tonight, we'll have Senator Tim Scott from the great state of South Carolina.
We'll be joined by Senator Mike Lee and the Republican Senate candidate now running has the lead in Nevada.
Adam Laxalt is with us.
Sir, how are you?
It's great to be back in Vegas.
Hey, welcome.
We're excited for tonight.
And, you know, we started our bus tour yesterday.
We have this giant bus that is going to do every single county in this state, and the excitement is off the charts.
People are ready to send Catherine Cortez Masto packing here in Nevada.
Well, I hope so.
I saw that.
By the way, I saw a picture of your bus.
It's really nice.
I don't know if you're going to bring it to the event tonight.
The only way to a Republican U.S. Senate majority is through Nevada.
That's what you tweeted out.
Every state that I've gone to is critical.
Georgia is critical.
North Carolina is critical.
New Hampshire is critical.
Pennsylvania is critical.
Ohio and Missouri and Wisconsin are critical.
Yes, it's critical here.
It's critical in Arizona.
I mean, every state is now critical.
Yeah, but what I would say is let's just assume we have all our holds, which is, you know, that I think all those races are going well.
We have to flip a seat.
And, you know, I think Walker's going to pull through, but that's a close race.
New Hampshire and Arizona, those guys are coming back.
They're good candidates.
I think they can win both those races.
But we are up today.
We are the only flip race that is currently up today in the RealClear average, but it is close.
It is true.
Well, actually, a poll came out today that had Herschel up by 2.4.
But again, that's a close race.
You're in a close race.
I always worry about certain areas of Nevada and honesty and integrity in elections.
Are you confident that you have enough people on the ground, enough poll watchers to make sure there's no shenanigans?
Well, there are well over 1,000 poll watchers.
There are over 700 poll workers in Clark County and Las Vegas, which is a dramatic increase from 2020.
And so, you know, we've got a lot more people and a lot more eyes on the system.
And obviously, I think people are paying more attention.
And so we hope we have a we hope we hope we have a solid election here.
So for most people I talk to, it comes to a 41-year high in inflation.
Everything costs more than it ever did.
It comes to record high gas prices.
It comes to wide open borders.
I know you're feeling it here in Nevada.
And then it comes to law and order.
I mean, you've had problems out here with crime big time.
And then it comes down to woke education versus classical educational training.
There are so many stories I can tell you, but just last week, we had six fentanyl overdoses in Las Vegas in 24 hours.
That's from Catherine Cortez-Masto's open border.
We had an officer shot in the line of duty.
That is from this rabid anti-cop rhetoric that we all know started in the 2020 BLM years.
And as I always mention, Senator Masto was a former AG.
Her Attorney General is a top cop.
She had the opportunity as the senior senator to stand up to this stuff and say, not in our city, but she didn't.
She went all in and said she supports BLM.
She said the cops are systemically racist.
And by the way, there's no way she believes that because we have one of the most integrated law enforcement agencies in Las Vegas in America.
And they supported her in 2016, and she abandoned them when they needed her, which is why they flipped to me and they've endorsed me.
And that's a big deal when you go against an incumbent senator, as you know, Sean.
And so they cut an ad for us saying that she walked away when they needed her.
And so we have law enforcement.
They understand what's at stake.
They know the Democrats have nothing but empty rhetoric.
I mean, you should see the commercials.
They've been running the state.
They find the two cops that are retired that say that she's done a great job, and she's been trying to run away from her record for the last six months.
And, you know, the good news is the voters are clearly seeing through it.
Despite record spending and $90 million in my 3 million person state, your listeners can start doing the math.
Nonetheless, we are ahead today.
Again, it's very close, but we feel like we're in a good place.
I hope people can go to adamlaxel.com and help us match that spend and just drive, drive dry for the final two weeks and not put our foot off the gas and close this thing out and win on November 8th.
Well, we're going to have a great town hall tonight.
You know the most interesting thing about your opponent, the incumbent, I don't even know a thing about her.
You know, when you got into this race, I knew right away, and I've known you now for a longer period of time than before you announced, and I knew you would have a good shot at winning.
And then I had to start looking her up.
I'm like, who is she?
She has no impact.
She's basically a rubber stamp for everything that's radical, extreme, Democratic, socialist, new Green Deal, climate alarmism.
She's it.
She's a 98%er in terms of voting with Biden and Schumer.
Yeah, look, she does not cut any profile.
And your listeners will remember Harry Reid.
And we certainly didn't agree with any of his policies, but everybody knew that Harry Reid carried weight in the Senate and for the state of Nevada.
He handpicked her to replace him.
He helped her.
He gave everything he could to get her in the Senate in 2016.
And by the way, she only won by two points in 2016.
And she got that baton handed to her.
I mean, think how much she should have done stepping in those shoes, filling that void on the Democrat side.
And instead, she's got nothing done for this state.
And as you rightfully point out, I mean, other senators have no idea who she is.
And so she cuts a very low profile and she hides out.
And then she uses an election year to pretend that she's some sort of moderate or centrist.
When you rightfully point out, she never is a moderate or censorist when we need her, when we need her to vote against the Joe Biden agenda.
It's a pretty amazing race.
If you win this race, it'll go a long way to creating that Republican majority in the Senate.
That's why we're out here.
As soon as I made the announcement, Senator Tim Scott said, I want to come.
He wants to come out here to support you.
Mike Lee will be down here supporting you.
We'll also talk about his race.
We look forward to having you tonight, and it should be a big crowd and a lot of fun.
And we appreciate you being with us, Adam Waxholt.
It's going to be awesome.
Thanks so much for having me, Sean.
All right, my friend.
Quick break.
We'll hit the phones when we get back.
800-941.
Sean, you want to be a part of the program as we continue?
Sleepy Joe just signed more executive actions in one week than most presidents did in their entire term.
So much for democracy.
Looks like Joe is the new dictator.
Hannity's on right now.
All right, we continue from the great state of Nevada, and we'll have our Hannity Town Hall, 9 Eastern, tonight on Fox.
Let's get to our busy phones.
Gary is in Arizona.
We had a great time in Arizona yesterday.
How are you, sir?
Bye, sir.
How's everything?
I'm good.
What's going on?
It's an honor and a privilege to be on your show today.
I saw you last night on the television.
I listened to your radio show almost every day when I can.
He did a great job with Carrie Lake and Blake Masters yesterday.
I think they're both going to win.
It's very tough, but I think just like we're out here in Nevada, it's going to be tough, but I think we're going to win.
I hope so, because if we don't, we're already in a position in this country that I never thought we'd be in before.
It's so twisted and disgusting.
I don't know how we can get out of this, but hopefully we'll Democrats used to hide who they are.
They're now openly radical socialists.
You know, they used to try to hide it.
Now they're upfront about it, which I don't know is good or bad for them, but it's certainly not good for the country.
And that's one of the things I can't understand.
And especially when the left starts talking about a threat to democracy, for the last year and a half, they've been the threat to democracy.
The only way we could make things any better is to get them out and get the Republicans back in.
And by the way, I'm an Independent, but I've sided with the Republican side for years.
I don't think I could ever vote for a Democrat for anything.
Well, all you have to do is get out and vote for Carrie Lake and Blake Masters.
And those two people, those two races are critically important, and it could change the dynamic in the Senate.
Listen, that's why we're out on the road here.
We're not out on the road just to eat in-and-out burgers.
That's our fun.
You know, some people like to gamble.
I like to eat in-and-out burgers.
One, two, three.
At least I didn't have the bun.
I ate them with a lettuce wrap.
Anyway, appreciate the call.
Thank you, Gary.
Chris in Arizona also.
Chris, how are you?
We had a great time yesterday.
Great to see everybody.
Well, yeah.
Had a great time watching the town hall.
That was Carrie.
She's quite a firecracker, huh?
She did a great job.
We think a lot of her.
She's going to do great.
I think she'll be a great governor.
I think Blake, if we can pull him over the finish line, anybody in Arizona or Georgia thinking about voting libertarian, don't waste your vote.
They're not going to win.
And all you do, it's a half a vote for the Democrat.
I'm telling you now, I'm not trying to be mean.
I respect libertarianism.
I have many libertarian views, but I'm telling you, you're wasting your vote.
Yes, I used to be a libertarian many years ago, and I do like the philosophy.
But, you know, being here in Arizona, this is Republican.
This is a very cold water state.
Well, it used to be.
I'm beginning to worry about it a little bit.
Certainly, you have too many people from California that brought their dumb failed socialist ideas to Arizona and Nevada and also Texas.
Oh, yeah, it's affecting us a lot here.
I'm here in Lake Havasu, and we do see a lot of that coming here.
A lot of them are refugees.
They are conservatives.
They come here.
They've just been run out of California.
I mean, with Governor Newsom and all his crazy ideas and everything.
Hopefully it helps to bolster us to make Arizona a red state again.
Well, it's possible, and it's all in your hands.
Can you believe it's 14 days from today?
No, I can't.
But it's not soon enough.
That's true.
Not soon enough.
And then we got to start gearing up for 2024.
Anyway, appreciate the call, Chris.
Glad you liked the town hall.
Hope you'll watch tonight as well.
It should be fun.
You know, Tim Scott's coming all the way to Nevada.
He's coming cross-country to campaign.
He's got his own race to campaign for.
And this is now his third.
Yeah, I know he's going to win.
Everybody knows that South Carolina is going to win.
One of the most, he's one of the most liked people in Washington.
He's one of the most decent people I've ever met in my life.
All right, 25 now to the top of the hour, 800-941.
Sean, you want to be a part of the program?
I still can't get over the brain fart that Joe Biden had yesterday.
Simple question.
Are you running for reelection?
What does Dr. Joe Biden think?
Mr. President, what does Joe Biden think?
Listen.
That's my intention.
My intention to run again.
And we have time to make that decision.
Dr. Biden is for it.
Mr. President.
Dr. Biden thinks that my wife thinks that we're doing something very important and that I shouldn't walk away from it.
I don't know if I'm more embarrassed or more frightened.
It's like, you know, it's a kind of hard thing to decide.
Here's Joey referring to Kamala as president again.
It's not like he's done this just once.
He's done it numerous times.
Listen.
Also, Kamala's birthday.
She turned 30.
Happy birthday to great president.
We know your mom's always with you.
You're a great president.
I mean, this is not normal.
Anyway, serious.
Literally last night in the debate in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis, I mean, he sliced and diced Charlie Crist, you know, like a filet.
He just, it was like batting practice.
It was one softball, boom, out the door.
One of the funny moments, he said he's going to try and put the worn-out old donkey Charlie Christ out to pasture.
You're running for governor.
Why don't you look in the eyes of the people of the state of Florida and say to them, if you're re-elected, you will serve a full four-year term as governor.
Yes or no?
Yes or no, Ron.
Will you serve a full four-year term if you're re-elected governor of Florida?
It's not a tough question.
It's a fair question.
He won't tell you.
We did not agree on the candidates asking each other questions.
Governor, it's your turn.
Well, listen, I know that Charlie's interested in talking about 2024 and Joe Biden, but I just want to make things very, very clear.
The only worn-out old donkey I'm looking to put out to pasture is Charlie Christ.
You just had to wait.
Now, the reason Ron didn't answer is because the candidates are not allowed to ask each other questions.
That was part of the agreed upon.
It's sort of like, Herschel Walker, put that prop away, that badge away, put that prop away.
I mean, they have all these dumb rules.
You know what I'd love one day?
I'd love a free-flowing, no-moderator debate and just let it ride and let's see how it goes.
Just let it ride.
Let all the resentment, all the real feelings come.
What?
You don't like that idea?
Who's having that debate?
No, I said I'd like to see it one day.
Between who?
Anybody.
Any Senate candidates, presidential candidates.
You're looking for the Adam Schiff show debate because that would be a caught mess.
Yeah, it'd be great.
It would be like the MMA octagon.
It'd be awesome.
I don't know.
I don't think they have it in them to even have an even conversation, to be perfectly frank.
Well, this goes to the heart of what I've been saying now for a while.
It's like the country has irreconcilable differences.
You know, people want to call it a divided country, but I mean, the divide is great.
It's not insignificant.
Listen, we had a good run.
It's over 200 years, but good.
Well, I'd like to remain the United States of America at the end of this.
But how do you reconcile socialism with capitalism?
You can't reconcile the two.
How do you reconcile wide open borders, amnesty with law and order and secure borders?
How do you reconcile energy independence with we're going to transition to renewable energy that we don't have the technology for?
And in the meantime, we're going to suck up to dictators and beg them to produce the lifeblood of our economy.
And we don't care if every American goes poor in the process.
How do you reconcile that?
How do you reconcile defund dismantle no bail laws with those of us that believe in law and order?
Let me ask you a question.
So we talk a lot about.
My show, go ahead.
Ask me a question.
Listen, I mean, you want to have an open debate in Nevada.
Make sure you say Nevada.
Don't say Nevada.
I actually never screw it up.
I tell you all the time, and then you're like, don't tell me.
I know I know how to say it.
Say it.
Nevada.
Because I just said it.
It's the only reason you got it right.
Is that right?
Yeah.
I'm very curious.
This is what I think the problem is.
And I said this last night.
I was talking to Leo and Larry.
I really think the reason we're at the place that we're at has nothing to do with people being on one side or the other.
I think it is the truest form, and it is 100% ignorance.
I don't think they actually know what's going on because they are watching channels that literally hide it from them and suppress it.
Let me nuance it a little more for you.
There are the true believers.
Those are the people that really think the earth is, they believed in the 70s that the earth, we were going to have an ice age.
Then they believed that the climate, global warming was going to burn the earth to, you know, burn the earth and we'd go ablaze.
Then they decided on this new term, climate change, which would cover any weather conditions, any place, anywhere in the world.
But it's really rooted in socialism as evidenced by even AOCs, what, chief of staff, somebody that worked for her, said, no, Green New Deal is not about the environment.
It's about, you know, guaranteed government wage, guaranteed government job, guaranteed pre-K, guaranteed government college, forgiveness of student loans, guaranteed government healthy food, guaranteed health care, guaranteed retirement, cradle to grave, womb to the tomb, socialism.
So you have the true believers, and then you have the other people.
The other people, usually the ones in power, they're in it for the power.
Oh, yeah.
If Democrats win, let's take a worst case scenario.
Nobody's talking about it.
If they win these midterms and they get control of the Senate, they will eliminate the legislative filibuster.
They will pack the courts.
They will have D.C. and Puerto Rico statehood because they believe that that will guarantee them four more Democratic Senate seats.
Amnesty will be a fait accompli.
And they're hoping that wherever people come from, that if they grant them something of such great value, that they will forever vote for them for the rest of their lives.
Everything you said is great.
The issue is, again, Republicans really suck at messaging.
They need to get their message on all the places.
They're doing better this year.
No, no, no, no, no doubt.
But like, for example, like the AOCs of the world and the Bidens of the worlds and the Hillary Clintons of the worlds are doing the TED Talks and the TikToks and the Instagrams, and they put all this BS out there, and these people are out there listening and falling for all of it.
So the issue is not that we're wrong.
It's that our messaging stinks and we can't get through to the people.
Sometimes, although this election is more about their failure.
Oh, for sure.
Their policies have been implemented.
They've had the reins of every branch of government and they've screwed it up so royally, even their own supporters are abandoning them.
Wait, can I say one more thing before you go to your calls?
No.
Okay.
Go ahead.
Yesterday we had a driver out in Arizona.
His name was Rudy.
His father was from Juarez, Mexico.
He became a police officer for 25, 30 years.
And he was telling me, all of us, really, all these incredible things that he saw, the crime that he fought, the cartels and everything.
And he said, you know, the biggest problem that I have, he says, is, you know, I was in this crime area and I was arresting all these people and NHR calls me and they said, you're arresting all these Hispanic people.
And he's like, yeah.
And they're like, well, that's racist.
He goes, I'm Hispanic.
I'm from Mexico.
You know, this is, you know, I'm arresting the people that are committing the crimes and where the crime is.
And he said, you know, the issue is, is that you're not allowed to do your job and you're not allowed to regulate.
He goes, I have no problem being proud of my Mexican heritage.
He said, but I've assimilated here in America and I'm so happy to be here.
And I think what you just said, if they don't get elected, this election, it's the end of America as we know it.
The damage, it's irreparable harm.
Irreparable.
We're almost there now.
You know, you see the mess that's been unfolding in Great Britain.
It's all coming here.
That's well said.
That's very well said.
And I'll tell you, it's scary.
All right, let's go to Jeff is in Michigan.
Jeff, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Hey, I'm doing very well, Sean.
Thanks for taking my call.
I wanted to say, I've always wanted to say it's longtime listener, first-time caller.
How's that?
Well, glad you made it, sir.
Welcome aboard.
You're now officially hannotized.
All right.
All right.
Tudor Dixon.
Boy, I was just thrilled to hear yesterday.
I didn't get to hear the whole thing with your head around, but bringing some attention to Michigan.
That's what I wanted to bring this back around to and talk about our local election.
She slaughtered Whitmer in that last debate.
That's like tonight's debate night in America and town hall night.
I think their debate is at 7, and I think Oz and Fetterman are at 8, and Hannity's at 9.
We'll have highlights at our town hall tonight.
Great, great.
Yeah, we need a huge, huge change here in Michigan.
You know, just Governor Whitmer, I won't tell you what I nickname her, but I'll be gracious and our governor here.
But I work in healthcare.
I'm in private.
Now everybody listening wants to know, is it something you can say on the radio or not?
Oh, yeah, it's not Whitmer.
It's Whitless.
You know, I mean, I just, she's kind of.
Okay, you stole my nickname for her.
So go ahead.
No worries.
We're on the same page.
Glad to know.
But no, just to see, you know, everybody's looking at what she did with the COVID and the lockdowns and, you know, shutting down, you know, people in the restaurant business here.
You know, she took away a barber, you know, Carl the barber from, you know, took away his licensed 70-some-year-old man, you know, just to want to stay in business.
But I want to bring up what she's doing now.
I don't know if you've heard or what, but we've had a major communist Chinese party come to our little community.
I'm an hour north of Grand Rapids with an EV battery company, and they're selling out into our industrial park to the tune of 30-year enterprise zone of $500 million, some tax-free dollars.
We're giving this company, you know, all for the whole thing.
We can be such a stupid country.
It's like we're allowing the communist Chinese to buy farmland, millions of acres, ranches, millions of acres.
And interestingly, they often are very close to where our military bases are.
I would like to have the next president go back to every single owner and say, we're throwing you out of the country.
You cannot own land being connected to a foreign entity, a hostile regime like China.
We'll give you fair market value, what you paid for it, and we'll send you away packing and then put it up for bid and sell it.
But anyway, we'll be watching, Jeff.
Appreciate the call, my friend.
God bless you.
Donna is in the Buckeye State, Ohio.
What's up, Donna?
How are you?
Hey, Sean, how are you?
Hey, I love your TV show and your radio show.
I just wanted to let you know that.
I'm a first-time caller myself.
But a quick question.
I guess this is an opinion question I want to know from you.
Do you think if and when we take the House as anticipated, do you think Kevin McCarthy is going to have the guts to do what needs to be done?
I think Kevin McCarthy is going to follow through on every one of his commitments to America, which is the America First, Make America Great Again agenda.
Now, I have told him publicly on this show, publicly on TV, I've told, you know, all of these Republicans are signing this pledge and making these promises.
If they don't follow through, we will name names and we will fire the people that don't follow through.
It's not that complicated, but I think they are committed to it.
I think they understand.
One thing Donald Trump taught everybody is that if you fight for people, look at the passion people have for Donald Trump.
And maybe some of you don't like him.
That's fine, but you've never seen a phenomenon like Donald Trump get the crowds that he gets.
Anyway, good call, Don.
Appreciate it.
I hope that answers your question.
Jerry in New York.
What's up, Jerry?
We have one minute.
It's all yours.
Hey, thanks.
Sean, how you doing?
First time, long time.
I've been listening to you since day one, I believe.
So thanks for all the hard work you do for us.
You know, I'm trying to understand this thing with critical race theory and who's behind it and why.
And it's more complicated.
I don't hear a lot about it.
I just hear statements of it and try to understand it better.
You know, like a lot of times I feel it's the actual white male who's the woke.
And they're trying to cancel out the straight white male.
And I'm trying to understand, like, what do they deserve to be canceled out?
Or look, let me make it really simple.
And I've seen now that hiring practices are changing.
At elite New York schools, they're now forcing parents at many of them.
You pay $60,000, $70,000, $75,000 a year to send your little son or daughter off to school.
And you as a parent have to commit to this woke agenda that would include gender identity issues, CRT, et cetera, et cetera.
And what it really is, it's a form of indoctrination into a belief system.
And I don't have time to go chapter and verse into it because I'm just looking at the clock, but it is a philosophy where you no longer think for yourself.
You can't have an opinion that varies or is different from what the collective norm is in whatever institution we're talking about.
Independent thought is discouraged, not encouraged.
And I'm just telling you that, you know, this election, a lot of it is going to be about this very issue.
Parents want their kids to learn to read, write, do math, science, history, and learn how to use a computer.
You can teach kids the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated.
Sure, they won't mention the God part.
And then that's what they want in their school.
They don't want this indoctrination.
Big issue.
14 days.
We'll know more.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
Reminder, by the way, if you're watching the Oz Fetterman debate tonight, remember that if you're on Verizon, you can't get it, so you can get it online.
So you might want to start looking before the 8 o'clock debate.
It's a one-hour debate.
