This is an iHeart podcast.
All right, news roundup information overload hour toll-free.
Our number is 800-941-Sean, if you want to be with us.
Florida Senator Rick Scott will be with us.
He's been all over the country advocating as the head of the NRSC in terms of electing or helping elect candidates, Republicans for the Senate.
We'll talk to him about the varying races.
I don't know who gets the dumb comment of the day.
Maybe we should put a poll up.
It's either Mayor Pete, who was apparently on the loser's show Colbert that nobody watches, or it could be the senator from the great state of Pennsylvania, and that, of course, would be Casey.
Bob Casey made a dumb statement also.
Anyway, let's play Buddha Judge first.
You know, look, this is part of a pattern that we've often seen where many congressional Republicans take stances that seem to be more about the problem than about the solution.
So, you know, you look at even the things that they talk about the most often, immigration, inflation.
I mean, name of all the things congressional Republicans have proposed policy-wise, can anybody name the top five things that they've suggested to fight inflation?
Can anyone name three?
How about one?
You know, they voted no on the Inflation Reduction Act that was about lowering prices for Americans.
And I would have loved nothing more than to have a debate between the Democratic Inflation Reduction Act and the Republican Inflation Reduction Act on the House of the Florence Senate and argued over which one was better, but there was only one and it was ours.
And luckily, it passed.
All right.
So he's basically saying there to Stephen Colbert, uninterrupted, slamming Republicans for criticizing inflation.
This is the guy that's lecturing you time and time again to buy an electric vehicle.
This is the guy telling you, get over it.
We're not going back to drilling and fracking and digging for coal.
We're going to wait until we get energy independence with renewable energies.
This guy is that out of touch.
And meanwhile, he, like every other cabinet official, flies a private jet that you pay for.
We paid for a fleet between helicopters and jets for the federal government.
They got a fleet of 1,000 planes and helicopters.
It's crazy.
Anyway, or you could take Bob Casey, Senator Bob Casey of Pennsylvania's observation about last night's debate, and you could choose which is the dumber comment.
I'll let you decide.
Listen.
I think that message came through very clearly.
I think his answers were very direct.
I think there was some real question on the other side about a number of answers where there didn't seem to be a yes or no.
But I think John did very well, and I think he understands how people struggle.
He understands what working families are up against every day.
And I think that came through throughout the debate.
Bob, you're lying.
There's nobody that watched that debate that thinks what you just said.
You don't even believe it.
This is just the same old crap people are sick and tired of.
Why don't you just say he struggled throughout the debate?
He's been struggling since he had his stroke.
We wish him the best.
I got to give him a lot of credit for being willing to get up on that debate stage.
You can say something like that, but stop lying to us.
I can't stand what we're being lied to so flagrantly.
You know, when my kids were younger, whatever they did, they might get in a little bit of trouble, but it never really bothered me much.
But if I would ask them if they knew that they did A, B, or C, and then they would, I swear, dad, I didn't eat the cookie.
And there's a cookie all over crumbs all over their face, chocolate chip all over their face.
And you ask them to open their mouth and there's still chocolate chip in their mouth.
And I swear I didn't take the cookie.
I didn't eat the cookie.
I didn't do it.
Get up to your room.
Now I'm really going to punish you.
Stop lying.
Learn to be honest.
All right, let's get to Senator Rick Scott is with us from the great state of Florida.
He's been helping all these Republican candidates hopefully win these races in 13 days, 13 days from today.
We will be talking about the results, at least those that are in, from the election the night before.
Senator, great to have you back and look forward to seeing you tomorrow night in West Palm Beach as we're doing a town hall with you and Senator Marco Rubio and Governor Ron DeSantis.
Yeah, you know, that's going to be fun, Sean, to do that.
You know, I watched that debate last night.
And, you know, here's the bottom line.
John Fetterman's unfit to serve because he's radical, because he can't defend what he's said in the past.
He completely changed his position on fracking.
He acts like he cares about crime, even though he wants to release all these criminals out of prison that have done heinous deeds.
And he wants to legalize drugs.
But he cares about crime.
I mean, this is that was.
And he wants taxpayer-funded injection sites.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, the Democrats are so radical, but that debate was no different than the others because they never want to defend all their horrible policies.
And Buddha just said, talk about inflation.
Hey, I would have a bill, but guess what?
You know what the Senate works?
If we're not in the majority, we don't get to vote on anybody's bills other than Chuck Schumer's, and we don't get any amendment vote.
So here's Fetterman summed up in less than a minute.
No restrictions at all on abortion.
You can have an abortion up till the minute you're about to give birth.
Released more murderers, convicted murderers than any other Senate candidate in history.
Wants to open the prisons in Pennsylvania and release a third to half of the prison population.
Bragged about his support of not only BLM, the group BLM, the one that said, what do we want dead cops?
When do we want them now?
Also bragged about his friendship with the street gang, the Crips.
I mentioned the heroin injection sites he wants taxpayers to put the bill on.
Sue oil companies wants to sue other companies and corporations and CEOs.
Then we have the shotgun incident where he chased an innocent African American down the street who did nothing wrong and held him at gunpoint, pointed a shotgun right at his chest and held him prisoner until the cops came.
And this is a guy that is obviously out of touch with the mainstream.
And I'm trying to understand up to this point.
He didn't fare very well at all last night.
I think this is a game-changing debate.
I think people were shocked that he was in that bad a condition.
And I'm shocked the Democratic Party allowed him to get away with this and even allowed him on that debate stage, to be honest, Senator.
Well, Oz did a great job.
He explained exactly his position, and Fetterman just took whatever position he thought that moment was a position that he thought was the right position.
Like fracking.
The guy's been against fracking forever.
And now he's forward all of a sudden because he knows it's bad policy.
I mean, look at oil and gas prices right now.
But these Democrats, they will lie, lie, lie to win election.
All across the country, they lie.
They act like they're Donald Trump, some of them.
They voted against border security like Kelly out in Arizona and then comes home and said, we've got to secure that darn border.
No, no, no.
You voted against it three times.
He's never done anything to secure the border.
That's going on all across the country with these candidates.
I've never seen a more extreme slate of candidates than this slate that they put up.
Raphael Warnock is one example.
John Fetterman is an example.
You mentioned Mark Kelly as an example.
Mandela Barnes is an example.
Tim Ryan is a fraud in Ohio.
Let's go through the individual states.
I think we probably agree.
Now, I'll be in Florida tomorrow for a town hall with you and Senator Rubio and Governor DeSantis.
Looking forward to that.
I think Marco will do well.
I think DeSantis will win.
In Georgia, there was a poll out yesterday.
had Herschel up 2.5%.
Now we got another anonymous woman.
It reminds me of Clarence Thomas, Justice Kavanaugh, and Herman Kane, you know, all over again.
They're just trying to find a person a day, whether they come forward or not, or they want complete anonymity.
It's ridiculous.
So I think Herschel's going to take that in Georgia.
I'm hoping he's going to take it.
I believe in North Carolina, Bud is going to win.
Obviously, Tim Scott will win.
Now we go to the state of New Hampshire.
It's now a one-point race in New Hampshire with General Bullduck.
And the good news for him is you have a very popular governor in Sununu who's up by, what, 16, 17 points and has been openly campaigning for General Bullduck, which is extraordinarily helpful.
So I would say that's a potential pickup for sure.
I hope that Mitch McConnell starts throwing money into that race.
The latest I read is he pulled money out of that race.
Is that true?
Yeah, he pulled money out.
We put money in.
I'm running the Senate committee.
So we're continuing to raise money every day.
If anybody wants to help us, go to WIN, text WIN to 55404.
We're raising money.
We put up additional money to help Bulldock.
We thought Mitch McConnell's super PAC was going to be doing it, and they walked away.
So we're helping him.
The same thing with Blake Master.
Blake, the latest polls showed that he has a chance of winning.
Terry Lake's running a good race out there.
Adam Laxout's winning.
We just have to get our votes out there.
We've got shot in some other states, Joe.
Joe Day in Colorado and Tiffany Smiley in Washington and Leora Levy in Connecticut on top of Bulldock.
So we've got, we have a chance to get 52, 53, 54, 55 seats.
And by the way, the turnout right now of voters, it's going our way.
People are energized on our side.
They're not energized on their side.
And there's a reason.
Their policies, the Democrat policies are radical.
It's not good for any family in this country.
You know, it really is unbelievable.
To me, it's simple.
And I've been saying it on radio and TV.
Are you better off than you were two years ago?
The answer is no.
How do you feel about a record high inflation?
You know, now nine consecutive months.
And every economist that I read or hear from is saying that this goes well into 2023, maybe even extends into 2024.
I mean, that's frightening.
These are very tough economic times.
Record high gas prices, record numbers of illegal immigrants.
We set a record last year.
We've already surpassed that record.
We're now at about 4.5 to 5 million illegal immigrants facilitated into the country by Joe Biden and his open borders policies.
Then, of course, you know, this insanity of no bail, defund, dismantle police.
It's not working anywhere it's been tried.
People are dying.
We're setting record after record in terms of violent crime and woke education in schools.
If Republicans focus on that, I think they win hands down.
They'll win way more seats in the House than they think.
And I think you can win every one of the Senate races we're talking about.
We have every chance.
We get our votes out.
We talk about inflation.
We talk about crime.
We're going to win.
The Democrats cannot defend themselves.
Their position on crime and what they've done with inflation is devastating.
I mean, this concept of an open border.
I mean, who's thinking this way?
When we have all these kids dying of fentanyl overdose, every time I talk to a young person today, I say, do not take a piece of candy from anybody other than your parents.
It could be fentanyl.
You'll be dead in a minute.
It's wild.
I know people that this has happened to.
I know parents that have lost their children because of fentanyl.
And we've got to be very careful.
And I'm not trying to be Debbie Downer here on Halloween, but you're right.
You can't be eating candy from a stranger's house.
Now, if it's a next-door neighbor, somebody you know, if you're in a neighborhood like that where everybody's close, that's a different story.
But if you're going into, you know, a part of town that you don't know the people, you need to not take candy and eat that candy, period.
I know it sounds, you know, perhaps extreme to some.
I wouldn't let my kids have it, period, and end of sentence.
So we're now 13 days away.
Two weeks from today, we'll be discussing election results.
If you had to look into Rick Scott's crystal ball, what will the results be?
We're going to have a nice majority.
I hope it's, I think the minimum is 52, and I think we have a chance to as many as 55, 56, 57.
We'll see what the turnout is.
But people are mad.
I've been traveling the country with Ronna McDaniels, who runs the RNC for the last two weeks.
I can just tell you, the energy on our side is unbelievable.
People are fed up with the Biden agenda and how these Democrats have voted.
Well, I hope you're right, Senator.
I think for Republicans, this wave is now beginning to emerge.
Hopefully, it turns into a tsunami.
And hopefully, we begin the process of healing the country.
Did you ever think things can get this bad this fast?
You know, Sean, I grew up in public housing, born to a single mom, and I lived in a country you could be anything.
In public housing, you didn't have to worry about crime when I was growing up.
I mean, look, there's almost nowhere you can go in this country when you're not worried about crime.
All right, quick break more with Senator Rick Scott.
We'll see him and Mark Orrubio and Ron DeSantis at our Florida town hall tomorrow as we continue.
You're on the Sean Hannity Show, a place where free speech and the First Amendment are still alive and well.
Liberalism is a failed ideology.
Get your dose of independence and liberty every weekday right here with Sean, Sean Hannity.
All right, more with Senator Rick Scott.
Just a reminder, tomorrow night at Town Hall with Ron DeSantis.
Mark Orubio and Senator Scott will be there.
I've never thought we'd go back to these days.
And you know what?
You might see, I think Tudor Dixon has a good shot to win the governorship in Michigan.
I think Lee Zeldon has a shot.
Kathy Hochl last night literally said, I don't know why you care so much about crime.
Because people are dying, Governor.
Every single day, there's a new videotape out of New York of somebody either getting the living crap kicked out of them or being thrown in front of a train in the subway system in New York.
Or you hear a story about somebody that has a rap sheet arrested 100 times, walking the streets and then committing a violent crime against an innocent person in New York.
You would think she would understand and get that.
She doesn't.
She just doubled down, is doubling down on gun control.
I'm going to have a listening tour on guns.
How about reinstating bail laws in the state of New York?
Let's start there, move forward from there.
Anyway, Senator Rick Scott, we'll see you tomorrow in West Palm Beach.
Look forward to it.
This is the defining midterm election, I believe, in our lifetime.
We're going to win.
You just got to work every day.
Appreciate you being with us.
Quick break right back.
Your calls on the other side.
Straight ahead.
All right, 25 now to the top of the hour.
Toll-free.
It's 800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
So back to this Fetterman Oz debate last night.
I did an unmitigated disaster for John Fetterman.
That's not the main reason I oppose him.
I mean, I feel bad for the guy that he had a stroke.
I think he's being used and frankly, this is borderline abusive.
If you have somebody that is in that bad shape and you're putting him in that stressful an environment, I just think it is unconscionable to me to do this.
And as you see and witness every day the deterioration of Joe Biden, you know, where are the people in these people's lives that step in and say, no, he's not capable of this.
This is not good for their overall health.
Just doesn't exist.
My disagreement with Vetterman is that, well, his whole life he's a phony.
You know, he wears the hoodie.
He has his tattoos and he acts like the big blue-collar worker when in fact he's been a trust fund brat till he was 49.
He bought his house for a dollar from his sister, ends up buying other houses, doesn't pay taxes on any of them.
You know, but he's extreme.
He's radical.
People of Pennsylvania need to know that he has no limits or restrictions at all on abortion.
That means abortion up until the moment of birth.
He's fought to release more murderers, convicted violent criminals than anybody ever running for office.
And he wants to open up the jails in Pennsylvania and release a third to half of the population.
This is a guy that wants taxpayers to pay for heroin injection sites, safe heroin injection sites, whatever that means.
He wants to sue oil company CEOs, grocery chain CEOs, wants sanctuary state status for Pennsylvania.
It's just unbelievable.
Never mind the fact that if any Republican ever chased an innocent African-American jogger down the street for no reason at all and held him by shotgun pointed at the guy's chest and held him captive until the police showed up.
He did that as mayor and he never got charged, even though in his own words, he said, yeah, I probably broke the law.
But the word, you know, and then this, this is what happened last night.
Nobody stepped in.
Everybody around him, every Democrat in Pennsylvania that is anybody that has any stature or any status knew how bad his condition was.
Nobody stepped up and said, you know what?
This is not a good idea.
Listen.
What qualifies you to be a U.S. Senator?
You have 60 seconds.
Hi.
Good night, everybody.
I'm running to serve Pennsylvania.
He's running to use Pennsylvania.
Now, here's what I think we have to fight about inflation here right now.
That's what we need to fight about inflation.
And I believe that, again, my doctors, the real doctors that I believe in, they all believe that I'm ready to be served.
Let's say he got his Pennsylvania house from his own inlays from a dollar.
I do support fracking, and I support fracking, and I stand, and I do support fracking.
Okay.
Now, we all have to make sure that everyone that works is able to, that's the most American bargain, that if you work full-time, you should be able to live in dignity as well.
True.
That's what I believe.
I don't ever recall in the Statue of Liberty that they say, you know, take our tired, huddled masses and put them on a bus.
Everybody in Braddock, an overwhelmingly majority community of black community, all understood what happened.
They understood what happened.
And everybody agreed that.
And whether it was a $50 tax break about his farm in Montgomery County.
So it's about supporting and helping young earners, excuse me, young students.
How exactly, Mr. Fetterman, do you propose doing that to make it more affordable for families?
I just believe.
I just making it that much more.
It costs too much.
And I believe providing the resources to reduce the tuition to allow families to be able to afford it.
They can't afford it anymore because of interest rates.
I've talked to families.
You want to cut Social Security.
Mr. Fetterman, it's his turn for his closing.
Anyway, so we'll see what happens 13 days from now in the great state of Pennsylvania.
Eileen is from Pennsylvania.
Eileen, how are you?
Glad you called.
Don, great to be talking with you.
So exciting.
I have a question for you as I'm trying to understand this polling.
So we look at Oz really closing the gap with Fetterman.
We don't see the same result with Mastriano and Shapiro.
And so my question is: don't people tend to vote right down the ticket?
And who are these people that fill these gaps?
Why would the gap be filling between Fetterman and Oz, but not between Mastriano and Shapiro?
So if you can talk about that gap and how it gets filled.
One thing Selena Zito has said to me that has stuck with me the entire time is that Pennsylvania is notorious, and she knows Pennsylvania politics.
You know, her Rose Tennant and Jeff Lord, they're the three experts in Pennsylvania politics.
They're the three people I rely on.
All of them agree that splitting tickets in Pennsylvania is quite common.
I mean, they voted for Al Gore and Rick Santorum in the same election year.
I mean, that pretty much tells you that the people of Pennsylvania have no problem.
They're not looking at R and D. They're looking at person A and B.
So, but you're right.
I'm not sure why Mastriano is not resonating a little bit more.
As an observer, I could see that I didn't feel that they were spending the right amount of money that is necessary for a campaign.
It was one article that he had gone off the grid, gotten off of television and radio for a significant period of time.
That was not a smart strategy.
There's nobody that I know in politics that would ever advocate for that.
And if he needed more money, he needed to go out there and find it.
I mean, that's part of the job.
If you're running for office, you've got to get money so you can run your campaign, so you can fight back when you're being lied about, to go on offense against your opponent, especially if they have radical positions.
So I think that's been a mistake.
I know Oz himself has dug deep into his own pockets, and he has spent an awful lot of time trying to get people to support him financially.
It's just the reality of running a political race.
I personally hate people asking people for money.
I don't want to do it.
If I told you how many times in my career, people have said, Hannity, why don't you sell this?
You'll make a fortune.
Hannity, you sell this.
You'll make a fortune.
Hannity said, I'm not interested.
You know, I love that this radio show is free for you.
I love that the TV show is free.
You know, not really, because you have to have cable, I guess, or dish TV, but you're going to have that anyway.
But for the most part, it's free.
Anyway, appreciate the call, Eileen.
Thank you.
New Hampshire.
General Bullduck now within one.
Gary, glad you called, sir.
Thank you for taking my call.
My wife and I are longtime listeners and viewers since the Hannibal Combs days.
Well, thank you, my friend.
That means a lot.
All right.
I've been reading and following in the news that Mitch McConnell has canceled $5.6 million in ads for Don Bullduck in New Hampshire.
That is correct.
I wrote his office today and I wanted full confirmation if that was true.
And they pretty much have been spinning me ever since.
And I've not gotten a straight answer because I'm also mad that they pulled out money away from Blake Masters, who, like General Bullduck, is within one point of winning.
And they ought to be doubling their investment in both Arizona and New Hampshire.
And they're going in the opposite direction.
And then I wanted an explanation as to why Mitch McConnell has given $9 million to Lisa Murkowski in the state of Alaska when she's going up against a Republican by the name of Kelly Chewbacca.
Why is he picking sides in that?
And the money is definitely better spent.
Split it down the middle.
Give half to Bullduck and give half to Blake Masters.
That's what I would do.
Well, my simple question is, does Mitch McConnell really want a Republican majority and control in the Senate?
If not, why not?
I can't answer that question, but I am just as bewildered and disappointed as you are.
And if this is how he's going to run these campaigns and we win and we get a majority, to me, this would be disqualifying for him to be leader of the Republican Party.
All right, my friend, thanks for bringing attention to it.
Bart is in the great state of Michigan.
By the way, latest polls, two polls, exact dead even.
I think the last one was 4646, Tudor Dixon versus Gretchen Whitmer.
I did watch last night's debate late, and I thought Tudor Dixon just cleaned Whitmer's clock.
And on top of that, it was interesting because Whitmer actually lied.
She was slammed earlier today for claiming during the debate that schools were only shut down for three months during the pandemic.
And excuse me, that was just blatantly false, what she said.
And so she was caught in a lie in this debate.
And she sought to explain the state's plunging K-12 test scores by pointing to the historic challenges during the debate last night.
Tudor Dixon said that it was Whitmer that kept students out longer than any other state.
And then Whitmer denied it.
And at the end of the day, Dixon replied, it was shocking to her that she thinks that schools were only closed for three months.
Apparently, it was closed for over a year.
Anyway, what's on your mind?
Glad you called Bart.
Yes, I just wanted to let you know I did vote for Tudor Dixon by absentee valid, and my signature was verified because I asked the clerk to check on it.
And I just wanted to let you know it's not because of the economy or inflation or the recession that we might have if we do have one at now.
And not to mention, the reason is that I voted for Tudor Dixon is because I do not want to drive an electric vehicle.
And I'm opposed to the Green New Deal because I think it's, like you have said in the past, it's a socialist and it's phony.
Listen, she's a rock star candidate.
I mean, she would be a great governor.
I watched her very closely.
I watched her closely in the first debate.
And she is a natural-born leader.
Most novices, most first-time political candidates are not as polished as Tudor Dixon is.
I'll tell you another one is Dr. Oz.
I mean, he was a total pro last night.
He did not even, you know, miss a beat in terms of, okay, John Fetterman's obviously struggling.
I'm going to focus on the issues that I came here to discuss.
And he did it like he would debate any other person.
And that was the right way to handle it.
And so I think that these debates are not going well for the Democrats, which didn't go well for Mark Kelly out in Arizona.
Didn't go well for Kathy Hochul last night.
I don't know why you care about crime so much.
Like, why?
I'm like, okay, you're that clueless.
You know, she's got her arm guards around her 24-7.
Most New Yorkers do not.
But anyway, you're going to have a great governor there if she wins this race.
And I think she's on a track to win it.
I really do.
People in Michigan get out and vote.
Every vote's going to matter in that race.
That race is going to be decided by around 10,000 votes one way or the other.
It's going to be a very, very close race.
Steve in Utah, next Sean Hannity show.
What's up, Steve?
How are you?
I'm doing good, Sean.
Thank you for taking my call.
Listened to your debate last night.
Listen to the Carrie Lake one.
They were or the yeah, the town hall.
Excuse me.
I'm from Utah.
Mike Lee is absolutely awesome and stuff.
Mitt Romney, not so awesome.
I've known him since the Olympics.
Wasn't a good thing.
But I loved what you said about him and stuff last night.
And if you could kind of put that out some more, because Evan McMuffin, well, my friend Rod Arquette calls him Egg McMuffin, but Evan McMullen is a Romney, you know, leftist because Romney's not a conservative.
He might have at one time sounded conservative, but he never really was.
And frankly, we all, everybody in the country, everybody that's conservative went all in to help him to try and win in 2012.
He lost that race because he took his foot off the gas in the last two debates against Barack Obama.
The fact that 48 senators, Republican senators, are supporting Mike Lee, and the only one not to is Mitt Romney.
And Mitt Romney's trying to have his cake and eat it too.
Oh, no, no, I'm being neutral.
No, he's not being neutral.
He's hoping that he becomes Joe Manchin and Egg McMuffin would be the equivalent of Kristen Cinema and that they would hold the entire Republican caucus, if it's 5248 or 5149, hostage to whatever he wanted to have done.
And we need a Romney-proof margin of victory because he's up to no good here.
All of Evan McMullen's money is coming from the Democratic Party.
They're not running a Democratic candidate.
They thought that they would have much better chance to defeat Mike Lee, who's done a great job.
He's a great scholar, a great constitutionalist, and they're doing it as dishonestly as anything or any campaign I've ever witnessed.
Don't fall for it in Utah.
It is one big lie.
And I watched one of the ads that's running out.
They're using children to call Mike Lee a liar.
That is so disgustingly repulsive to me.
And I hope the people in Utah understand what's going on here.
He's a radical leftist.
He will caucus with the Democrats.
Anyway, appreciate the call, my friend.
