This is an iHeart Podcast.
The question is do you all believe that this student loan program is fully paid for?
We do believe it will be fully paid for because of the because of the work that this president has done with the economy.
Those of you who love this country, Democrats, Independents, Maestre Republicans, we must be stronger, more determined, and more committed to saving America than the MAGA Republicans are destroying America.
Freedom is back in style.
Welcome to the revolution.
Yeah, we're coming to your city.
Gonna play our guitars and sing you a country song.
Sean Hannity.
New Sean Hannity show.
More behind the scenes information on breaking news and more bold inspired solutions for America.
This is a special edition of the Sean Hannity Show.
America trapped behind enemy lines.
Day number 380.
Day 380.
Can you imagine this country, this great country of ours abandoning Americans behind enemy lines?
800-941 Sean, our number if you want to be a part of the show.
And then we come back from Labor Day weekend, and then it's pedaled to the metal.
It's it's hardcore, full-on, the single most important midterm election in our lifetime, and you gotta look at it that way.
We have some good poll numbers we'll share with you.
Um but you don't you can't take any race for granted.
You just can't.
If you do, you do so at your own peril.
I will tell you, it's hard to understand, and I I absolutely under know that the Democrats, we know their battle plan.
They're gonna run on January 6th in Donald Trump.
They're they're gonna run on the Dobbs decision, and they're gonna try and scare women into believing something that is false, which is abortion has been outlawed in America.
It's not true.
And it's not going to be true.
But when all the dust settles, most states will have legal abortion.
They'll have some restrictions, and then you'll have states that have no restrictions.
Like New York and California, et cetera, likely New Jersey, Illinois, state liberal states like that, where people can travel to if that's what they really want, late-term abortion, etc.
So that's they're gonna they're gonna run on that as well.
And then they'll use the usual playbook, which is Republicans racist, sexist, blah, blah, blah.
The same the same playbook they always use.
What they can't run on is any identifiable real success.
They can't.
The number of Americans now who say that they're suffering economically is hit an all-time high.
Look at this.
Um, according to Gallup, now this is the highest point, the highest number since the data began being recorded.
And Gallup's poll categorizes Americans as thriving, struggling, or suffering, according to how they respond to questions about their lifestyle.
Nearly six percent of Americans qualified for suffering, which is the highest number since the organization started recording this statistic.
The other its previous high was 4.8%.
I've been telling you and warning you what was going to happen with real estate.
New construction has stopped, sale of pre-existing homes have now come basically to a screeching halt, with the exception of states where the migration is still remains very, very strong.
States like the Carolinas, Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Alabama, those states are doing fine.
They're not gonna be hit as hard.
And it's about to get worse, and I'll explain that in a second.
Real estate CEO says home buyers are absolutely freaked out about soaring interest rates.
I haven't looked at the Dow today.
Well, down a thousand points on Friday.
And in light of the Fed chairs basically saying they're gonna raise interest rates, most are expecting another 75 basis point increase, which is three-quarters of a point.
That that's that's massive.
But anyway, U.S. housing market is now in the midst of a the its own recession.
So if you really want to call it for what it is.
Um and anyway, uh the CEO of Redpin C Redfin CEO says Glenn Kelman is his name, noting the housing demand plummeted because buyers are absolutely freaked out as the Federal Reserve's sharp interest rate hikes have prompted an increase in the mortgage rates.
The economic instability has now resulted in a very high cancellation rate for home sales, even for the deals that are under contract.
It's just hard to put deals together because the economy is so volatile.
I told you this was going to be a three-step process.
One is new home construction would come to a screeching halt.
That has now happened back by statistics.
Well, the next step is sale of pre-existing homes would end.
People are not going to want to give up their low 30-year fixed rate mortgage.
They're not.
They're not going to.
They're going to stay put until this thing turns around, hopefully sooner than later, but it doesn't look like it will.
And now the next logical thing is unfortunately for most people, their home values are going to drop significantly.
You know, there's an article out today that in a matter of months, you know, the housing market has chilled down completely.
The slowdown now is contributing negatively to the economy, and that presents, you know, if you're a home buyer and you can stomach high prices, okay.
No, prices are now coming down.
Uh, but does it justify the higher interest rate that you're going to pay?
That's something you're gonna have to mathematically work out with your accountants and the people you just you talk to about finances, etc.
Um, even Elizabeth Warren, very worried the Federal Reserve will trigger a recession to contain inflation.
Hey, um, well, somebody tells Senator Warren we're already in a recession by a very definition.
But here's what I read this weekend that really scares me.
I want you to pay very close attention to this.
And is one article after another after another after another?
Europe gas prices now have hit a record as the crisis now of becoming reliant on Vladimir Putin for the lifeblood of their economy is now about to pay it's almost a potentially catastrophic for Europe.
That's how bad it is.
And now we've discovered that some of the funding for the environmental extremists and climate alarmist cultists in Europe was actually coming from Russia.
Because once they once Western Europe stopped being energy independent and stopped providing their own sources of energy and became more and more reliant on Vladimir Putin for their energy needs, um, they gave up.
I I don't understand the thought process where it's okay to get energy from Vladimir Putin, but it's not okay to have your own energy domestic production at home.
That makes no sense.
Now, the Belgian energy minister is warning that the next five to ten winters in Europe will be quote, terrible unless the European Union moves to swiftly impose a price cap on runaway gas prices.
Well, how's that gonna work?
A price cap.
Are you gonna tell Vladimir Putin what he's gonna charge and not charge you for energy?
Are you gonna tell OPEC and Saudi Arabia?
You're gonna tell Venezuela?
Are you gonna tell who you s who are you gonna tell?
So they're gonna raise it and then what?
You're gonna subsidize the rest?
These countries will be bankrupt.
They're threat that they actually are predicting the potential for hundreds of thousands of people to die this coming winter alone because they're not gonna be able to afford to heat their homes.
Now, Elon Musk, interesting guide to me.
Elon Musk actually says the world needs more oil and gas as a bridge to renewables.
He's saying that as the owner as the CEO of Tesla, against his own best financial interests.
Now he says the world needs more oil and gas to deal with the energy shortage while pushing to transition to renewables.
We don't have somebody needs to tell him, he's smarter than this, he ought to know this.
We don't have the technology for renewables.
And all of these electric cars, I'm fine with electric cars.
I have a friend of mine that has a Tesla, swears by it, loves his Tesla.
But the problem is to make those batteries, You need a lot of mining of Mother Earth to get the cobalt and get the nickel and the manganese and all the other minerals and all the heavy duty equipment that uses diesel to get it.
And by the way, when you charge it, 88% of the electric grid still comes from fossil fuels.
So that's not helping people that much.
Anyway, so in Europe, their energy crisis and the impact of Russia's war with Ukraine and Vladimir Putin turning off the spigot.
And in Germany, literally it's it's having an impact.
Public buildings, museums, landmarks, Brandenburg Gate, for example, in Berlin no longer illuminated overnight.
They don't have the energy to do it.
In Hanover last month, hot water was cut off at public buildings because the city's seeking to cut consumption by 15%.
This is just the beginning of the pain.
And think of the groveling that's going to go on with Western Europe to Vladimir Putin begging and pleading and hoping that maybe he'll open the spigot again.
And in Spain, Congress agreed to temperature limitations.
Air conditioning no cooler than 27 degrees Celsius or 81 degrees Fahrenheit.
81 degrees?
I don't want to be in a room with 81 degrees that's air conditioned.
In Italy, air conditioning in schools and public buildings limited now.
Italy's one of the European countries most reliant on Russian energy.
Over in France, 70% of their energy, thankfully for them comes from nuclear power, but they now have committed to cutting natural gas consumption as well.
You know what this would be if we had half of half a conscious president with half a brain?
It would mean the biggest financial opportunity in probably U.S. history.
We could now fill the void with all our hundreds of years worth of natural gas resources, and we could supply Western Europe with all of their needs, which would make them totally completely independent and not never relying again on Vladimir Putin.
We're not a hostile nation.
It would be like we'd help rebuild Europe again before disaster strikes.
The next five to ten winters will be terrible unless the EU swiftly moves to impose a price cap on runaway gas prices.
Well, that's fine, but you can't put a uh a price cap on what people are going to sell you the energy at.
The EU plans emergency intervention uh to stem the surging power prices.
Um by the way, in America, there's an article, I forgot where I saw it.
It was in the Hill, I remember.
The economy, African Americans are feeling disproportionate pain from high interest rates, Federal Reserve hiking interest rates in the hopes of uh cooling off Biden inflation.
Their actions are hitting African Americans who have historically been squeezed out of home ownership and affordable loans the hardest.
Fed interest rate hikes are meant to slow consumer and business spending by making debt more expensive, including mortgages, mortgage rates rise as the Fed hikes its baseline interest rate higher and higher, making monthly home payments more expensive for anyone seeking a new home, or those who purchase one with an adjustable rate uh loan.
By the way, at 3% or 4%, you never should have gotten an adjustable rate just for future knowledge.
So we have a cut we have a coming energy crisis.
Um diesel and heating oil supplies in the Northeast are more than 50% below the recent average.
That's scary.
Fuel supplies are lower than normal across the country for a variety of reasons.
Now they're saying it has to do with Ukraine.
I say it has to do with the fact that Biden's been selling off the strategic petroleum reserves, including a million barrels to China.
Now, here's another thing that, you know, thanks to the great people that listen to this show, we've been way ahead of the curve on this.
We've had so many farmers call this program, and so many ranchers call this program, and we've had truckers call this program corroborating what the farmers and the ranchers are saying.
We have people in the ranching business, they're getting out of business, they're selling off their herds because they don't see a path to make a profit in the future.
With fertilizer costs three, four times what they were paying under Donald Trump, they can't afford to uh fertilize enough land to get the the yield that they would normally get to make a profit.
And on top of that, seed costs have now doubled.
On top of that, they with the supply chain crisis, they can't even get the needed spare parts for their heavy duty equipment so that they can do their job.
This is from Bloomberg.
Dried out farms from China to Iowa will pressure food prices.
Food prices are going even higher.
That's I bought a freezer recently.
I'm going to fill it full of meat.
Because it's my guess is there's going to be a shortage at some point here.
By the way, everywhere I went this weekend, and it was a wedding weekend for me.
Um, but everybody's apoplectic over this loan forgiveness.
We have a new estimate out today from the uh UPen Wharton business school budget model.
Yeah, it's nowhere near the price that Democrats are telling you.
They're just lying through their teeth as they usually do.
So we'll get to that.
We'll give you the economic news.
Oh, Joe Biden, of course, calling MAGA semi-fascism.
Oh, I thought he was the great unifier.
By the way, it's not just Europe that's gonna have an energy problem this winter.
Bloomberg News reporting New York is running so low on fuel, the Biden administration is warning of government action to address exports, and suppliers are resorting to expensive U.S. tankers to restock the region.
Listen to this.
Inventories of East Coast uh include diesel, which are languishing at uh seasonal lowest levels ever, while gas stockpiles in the New York Harbor area emerged from historic lows only last week.
And recently, several U.S. flag vessels were carrying fuel to New York, which is a rare move that usually is not economically even viable.
And Gulf Coast refiners have been shipping a maximum amount of gasoline to the East Coast all summer long on the fully booked colonial pipeline.
It's not like we have any more capacity available, but it may not be enough, quote, in a cold winter.
Russian supplies that filled the critical gap during frigid weather last February won't be available again after Moscow's invasion of Ukraine triggered U.S. sanctions.
So the closure closure of refineries on the East Coast in Canada and in the Caribbean means the Eastern U.S. is more reliant on supplies from Europe, and they're facing the worst crisis ever.
And a supply crunch could come sooner as you know, winter season is now upon us, you know, as we now head into hurricane season, threatening disruptions of full fuel supply.
Do you imagine you know one bad incident at one refinery?
Uh you have one bad, you know, cat five hurricane.
God help us.
We're dead.
You know, this is the stupidity and short-sightedness of climate alarmism and and climate alarmist cultism.
This is what it's done.
It did it to Europe.
Now they're worried about the next five to ten winners and how many people are gonna die.
and we're following in their dumb footsteps.
Hannity uncovers the real truth about the politics of D.C. He's your watchdog on big brother.
Every day, Hannity is on right now.
All right, 25 down till the top of the hour.
I don't care what Hollywood actors do.
They make a lot of money.
Look at Harrison Ford.
Uh two successful massive franchise movies like The Raiders of the Lost Ark, and he was in the original Star Wars movies.
You know, famous Hollywood actor, worked his whole life.
Um, but he's a climate alarmist cultist.
And he lectures us about the use of energy and fossil fuels.
And it comes out that this guy put on 5,000 284 miles, um, eight trips on his own private plane, which I don't have any problem that it has a private plane, but don't be a private plane, uh private jet hypocrite, like the like Leo uh Leonardo DiCaprio and the rest of these people and John Kerry.
So you have an interest, you know, you can go through, we can actually see.
You know, he he remarked at a conservation summit last year.
It's not all right, damn it, it's not all right.
It's it's it's all right to feel frustration, anxiety, grief, but don't run away from it all.
Cry out for justice, the justice for Mother Nature.
I'm like, he flew his private jet to this this stupid meeting.
You gotta be kidding me.
Then I love this.
You know, Prince Harry got a lot of flack from flying from all the way out from Montecito, California, straight shot, big huge jet, him and Megan Merkel.
I don't know if they had many people on the plane.
I don't think they did.
Anyway, now he takes another private plane, in spite of all the criticism.
So he literally takes a car that is an electric vehicle to the airport to jump on his private jet to fly to Colorado for a one-day polo match, and has you know, his can't you can't make this up that these people do this.
I mean, it what well we paid for carbon offset.
What is a carbon offset?
If your spouse cheats, oh, I'm gonna I'm gonna buy you a diamond necklace if you let me cheat.
It's the same thing.
Well, how do you pay for a carbon offset?
You're gonna plant trees someplace and think you made up for the fact that you used had such a big carbon footprint.
It's unbelievable.
I mean, Democrats are so such hypocrites, and they're all lying to you, by the way, about the 87,000 new IRS agents.
Um I'm telling you right now, one Democrat running for re-election and one of the most heavily favored seats for Republicans to flip this year, told a reporter earlier this week that he was in favor of hiring 87 new, 87,000 new IRS agents as part of the party's massive social spending taxation legislation,
known as the uh let's tax the poor middle class and people on fixed income act and inflation increasing act that they call the inflation reduction act, and the bill signed into law by Biden will grant $80 billion to boost the IRS over a 10-year period, more than half of the funds intended to help the agency crack down on tax evasion by hiring the massive amount of agents that would more than double the agency's size.
Anyway, Representative Tom O'Halloran claimed the cost of hiring thousands of new agents would be offset by the tax income that the move would allegedly bring in through increased auditing of Americans, and it would also help reduce the budget deficit.
Oh, okay.
They already go after rich people.
Let me tell you how it works with the IRS.
They go after the big fish first.
And then after they do that, now the only people left, and it turns out, by the way, if you make $25,000 a year or under, you're a prime target.
You're five times more likely, according to one study, to be audited than those so-called evil rich people or corporations.
And by the way, those rich people, those corporations, um, they're the ones that can afford to hire the accountants and the lawyers to fight the IRS in perpetuity if need be over whatever issues might exist.
It's it's insanity.
People just like keep your doctor, keep your plan, and save money.
Now, um, when you look at the finances of of this insanity, student loan forgiveness.
Well, we learned new information today.
That Biden's, according to the University of Penn, Wharton School of Business, their budget model, uh, their plan for taxpayers to pay student loans could cost more than one trillion dollars.
Now, who do you trust more?
Democrats that are selling this as $300 billion, or the Wharton Business School budget model.
I think I'll choose Wharton over them.
And by the way, the estimate of Wharton is even more than the National Taxpayer Union Foundation, which analyzed that the budget model expected that the foundation found debt cancellation will cost the average individual taxpayer over $2,000.
So all of you that were stupid enough like me to pay off your student loans, you're now paying off the student loans of everybody Joe Biden's trying to bribe with just before an election year.
Sorry, we ought to call it the bribery act of 2022, election bribery act, because that's what what is he doing?
He's giving away free money.
Oh, I think I'll vote for the guy that pays off my student loans.
I'll I like that guy better.
Give me, yeah, I want I want to empower you, our government, to have the power and authority to take money from this group of people and give it to me.
What kind of society is that?
It's never gonna work.
And it's gonna result in more poverty, broken promises, unfulfilled promises, and at the end of the day, how much freedom did you give up in the name of false security?
You know, why do people put their trust in the government anyway?
These are the same people that bankrupted Social Security.
It's it's headed towards insolvency.
The same people that bankrupted Medicare, also headed towards insolvency.
The same people like Joe Biden and Barack Obama that said you get to keep your doctor, keep your plan, and the average family will save $2,500 per family per year.
Well, we're now paying about 250% more, and almost half the country has only one Obamacare Exchange option.
How did that work out?
The White House now will not answer the question on how they plan to pay for Biden's decision to cancel anywhere between 10,000 or 20,000 if he got a Pell Grant in student loan debt for Americans, or if future tax hikes will be needed to cover the proposal, which, according to the Wharton School of Business, and their model is over a trillion dollars.
They won't answer.
It's paid for and far more by the amount of deficit reduction that we're already on track for this year.
They're just making this, they make it up as they go.
Even Paul Bagala, I'll play it later in the program, is saying, no, this is a handout.
It's awful policy.
He actually made a good point, and I was kind of surprised that I agreed with it.
You know, he said, you know, when you look at people that take out student loans, it's you freely enter into that agreement.
You choose not to go to a community college, you choose not to go to a state school, you want to go to a different school that you think maybe is more prestigious or more fun, depending on what you're looking at in a college.
You make that decision freely, you promise to pay it back.
What about the people that get cancer?
They didn't freely agree to take on medical debt when they got lymphoma or they got breast cancer or prostate cancer.
And Bogal said all that money would pay off all the medical debt of every American that didn't freely choose to have to, you know, battle some significant health issue in their life.
Former MBA coach goes after Republicans comparing Biden's student loan bailout to the miracle of Jesus.
Stan Van Gundy, outspoken supporter of Biden, took to Twitter, said Republicans to criticize Republicans, and compared the president's student loan forgiveness to a miracle performed by Jesus.
Oh, okay.
How's this gonna work out?
How are you gonna pay for that?
Every single person.
Now there are uh if you look at Tim Ryan, who's running as a Democrat in Ohio, he's trying to sound like a MAGA conservative.
He's not.
Everybody in Ohio needs to understand he's a phony, arguing Sunday that tax cuts are a better way of handling America's student debt problem.
He's not going to vote with Republicans.
He is full of it.
He knows his state is mostly red, and he's trying to sound like he's a MAGA conservative.
He's not.
He's lying.
And just like Joe Manchin and Kristen Cinema, when push comes to shove, he will cave and he will buckle and he will give in to the pressure of Schumer and Biden and the Green New Deal Socialists.
I promise you, that you can that you can write in stone.
Uh, what else do we have here?
All right, so it is interesting.
Republicans back Trump for 2024 much more than Democrats back Biden.
You know, the media mob Keatson keeps insisting Republican support for Trump is fading.
Joe Biden's poll numbers are really improving.
Well, 56% of Democratic voters surveys said it was time for change in the party.
They don't want Biden to run, consistent with all the other polls where 60% of Republicans would like Trump to run again.
And that's before anything has even gotten started.
And by the way, Mr. Unity, remember how many times he said unity during his inauguration speech?
Yeah, now he's out there calling anybody that believes in make America Great Again or America First, semi-fascism.
Wow.
He said he wanted to be the uniter.
Now he's calling Americans semi-fascist, half the country, Republicans.
Unbelievable.
Even Governor Senunu, not the biggest Trump supporter, called on Biden to apologize for suggesting semi-fascism drives Trump backing Republicans.
No, people like the fact that he made us energy independent, controlled our borders, gave us lower taxes, and prior to the pandemic, uh, the single best job growth for every demographic group in the country in history.
That's what they prefer.
White House press secretary Karim Jean-Pierre defending Biden's semi-fascism comment about MAGA Republicans.
You know, say what we're seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy.
It's not just Trump, it's the entire philosophy that underpins the, and I'm gonna say something.
It's like semi-fascism.
You know what this is?
This is one of the three strategies.
Republicans are racist, now it's fascist, sexist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, they want dirty air and water and want to kill children.
Miranda Devine, who wrote the laptop from hell, had a great story.
The FBI likely learned the Hunter laptop story was about to break by surveilling Rudy Giuliani because they, after they broke into his house and took every computer except the one with Hunter Biden's laptop copied on it.
Anyway, they had access apparently to all of Giuliani's emails and eye messages for two years.
Quote, were they spying on Giuliani in order to spy on Trump?
Well, it wouldn't surprise us based on the FISA abuse.
Unfortunately, Trump doesn't write emails or text, so they came up empty.
But anyway, um, we'll see what happens.
He had a complete hard drive.
You know, here's something interesting.
79%, nearly four and five Americans who've been following the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, believe that in the weeks leading up to the 2020 election.
Had the had the public been given the truthful coverage about what was on that laptop, it would have changed the outcome of the 2020 presidential race.
Similar percentage say they're convinced the information on the computer is real.
That's 80%.
Only 11% saying they thought it was created by Russia.
Those people will believe anything that you said tell them because they're just hardcore anti-Trump.
I mean, all the evidence that implicates Joe, Joe who says, Oh, me and Hunter never once, not one time ever did I talk to my son about his foreign business dealing.
We also learned in all of this that in fact Hunter uh instigated and initiated a plea to his father as it relates to the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating him.
Now, could you imagine if that was Trump and all that evidence existed?
You know, this cover-up had a major role in the in in the 2020 election.
Uh Trump demanded that he be declared the winner and hold the new election immediately.
When you think about it, everybody went out there in the media and they did what they did in 2016.
Except this time it played a powerful role.
2016, they went with a phony Russian dossier paid for by Hillary.
And then the FBI upper echelon used it to spy on Carter Page and Team Trump.
2020, they have all of this, you know, evidence against the Biden family syndicate.
All of it right there.
Evidence of crimes.
Still no raid, nothing.
You know, that's a dual justice system.
Even, by the way, Bill Maher was said to meathead Rob Reiner this weekend, of course they buried it in the press.
It was buried by the press.
He's right.
It was buried by the press, and they said this made a decision that they would tell us after the election.
And that decision was made to as an assist to Joe Biden.
It's it's that simple.
Now we're gonna get into when we get back.
The Biden DOJ, not only did they take the passports of Donald Trump, now we're finding out they took documents.
Oh, covered by attorney client privilege.
Hmm.
This is getting interesting.
A lawsuit claims that Trump volunteered to show the FBI agents uh the storage room without even being asked, asked to.
You didn't need to show us the storage room.
Well, that's in a lawsuit that has now come out.
And then May, according to a complaint, Trump voluntarily accepted a grand jury subpoena for his office record keeper seeking documents with classified markings.
Remember, the the same National Archives and Records Administration praised them in February, and remember, he let them in.
By the way, even the Wall Street Journal has not been too favorable to Donald Trump.
They said the Mar-a-Lago affidavit.
That's it.
That's all you've got.
It's all about disputed documents.
Because there was a million other ways to handle this.
Which, by the way, would have been equal justice under the law, an equal application of our law.
Unbelievable.
And then we've got a claim by Mark Zuckerberg that the FBI gave him a warning about Hunter's laptop being Russian disinformation.
So now the FBI is involved in that part too.
Can't make it up.
All right, now every business is gonna nickel and dime you to death with this recession as bad as it is, and prices going higher, and we expect the price of fuel to go up again, and we expect the price of everything we buy in every store we go to to go up again, and food shortages possibly coming.
You need to save money in areas wherever you can.
One place everybody can save a lot of money is when they make the switch away from the big carriers, ATT, Verizon and T Mobile over to Pure Talk.
You'll get the same great 5G network as they have, the same cell towers that they have, you get the same number of bars that you currently have, you get the same phone, the same phone number, and the average family saves close to a thousand bucks a year, and many families save much more.
By the way, if you do it right now, you'll get the free month, their best deal ever, and you can get for 30 bucks a month talk text and data.
Anyway, just dial pound 250 keywords save now.
Your first month will be free.
Pound 250 keywords save now from our friends of Pure Talk.
All right, when we come back, John Solomon and Greg Jarrett.
Oh, top agent exits FBI because of political bias to help Hunter.
Export Selection
