All right, day 331.
That means day 343, nearly a full year since Joey, your president promised he wouldn't abandon Americans.
And I think we're probably the only ones that ever talk about it.
Anyway, thanks for being with us.
Hope you had a great fourth uh nice week off.
I I get very philosophical on my time off.
I just get to stand back, get a little more connected to God and the things that matter the most in life.
And I follow the news, but a little less intensely than I do when I'm working.
And I look at where we are right now, and I I really believe in my heart of hearts that this is the single most important moment, inflection point in our in our at least modern history, terms of the presidency, the direction of the country, the divide that is, I mean, it's almost like we have irreconcilable differences on everything.
And the only answer is that this midterm election, Republicans have got to win.
And as I've been pointing out, I think the House will be easier.
I think the Senate is very hard because of you got every bellwether state possible up for, you know, for in the Senate election.
You got Marco Rubio.
I think he'll win Florida.
Herschel Walker is down in some polls in in Georgia.
He's got work to do, but I think he can definitely win that state if he runs a good campaign.
Uh Tim Scott, I believe, will win in South Carolina.
Uh I believe that we have a great shot in North Carolina.
I think we got a shot in New Hampshire.
I think Ron Johnson, they're dumping tens of millions of dollars to take him out.
You got Dr. Oz, who I know is a conservative, and and some people that didn't believe me, but I'm just telling you, I've known him for that long a period of time.
I wouldn't have supported him if he wasn't.
Uh you got JD in um in Ohio.
That bit that's going to be a big race.
Missouri's going to be a big race.
All bell weather states.
Adam Laxalt.
We have the the Arizona race that's going to be ongoing.
This is not a slam dunk.
Let me just tell you that from the beginning.
You've got interesting times developing in terms of the Democrats because nothing is working.
You look at every major issue.
Tell me what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are doing to make us more successful as a country, to make you and your families more prosperous, to provide more opportunity for people.
Because a 41-year high in inflation speaks for itself.
We'll get new consumer price index numbers on Wednesday.
I know that the Fed, uh, the Atlanta Fed is predicting a 1.2% contraction.
Here it is, I got it in front of me.
You know, we're watching the GDP second quarter growth projection.
I told you before I went on vacation, they they had lowered downward their projection to 0.0%.
Well, they've lowered it yet again.
The GDP now model estimate for real GDP growth in the second quarter is negative 1.2%, and that's up from a negative 1.9% projected growth rate on July the 7th.
Now the next GDP, I think that I think it's Wednesday, I may be Friday.
I gotta, I gotta go back and look.
You know, and I'm and I'm looking, so much of this is tied to this climate alarmist religious cultism.
Joe Biden is headed off to Saudi Arabia.
He's headed off to a nation he called the Pariah Nation to meet with the Crown Prince that he says was responsible for the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
And he's going there for one reason and one reason only.
He's going there to kiss their ass that they will increase their energy production.
You know, he was at the G7 week and a half ago, and I think it was French President Macron who actually said they don't have the capacity to increase energy the way you want.
Meanwhile, the Keystone XL pipeline would have been finished by now, and we'd be importing 900,000 barrels of Canadian oil a day, but we'll forget about that too.
Anyway, Reuters is pointing out the U.S. is weighing the possible resumption of arms sales to the Saudis.
So he's going to do everything he can do.
So he imported last year oil from Iran for the first time since the 90s.
He imported what, nearly 700 million barrels of oil to make Putin rich again.
Have we not learned a thing from uh Western Europe's stupid dependency on Russia for energy, the lifeblood of their economy, and now Putin's decided to sell his energy at lower rates to India and China and elsewhere, and he's basically cutting off Western Europe, NATO allies.
We have the resources, oil, gas, coal, for hundreds of years worth of supply domestically.
We don't need to beg OPEC.
We don't need a deal that makes the Iranian mullahs and the Saudi government rich again.
We don't need emissaries to go to Venezuela.
Now Biden is getting some pushback ahead of his trip to Saudi Arabia from some members of the Progressive Caucus, but it doesn't matter.
He's still going there and he's still going to suck up to the Saudis.
You know, a lot of people, he wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post where he defended his approach to the Middle East and the U.S. strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia.
Well, you called them a pariah nation.
Now you're going there hand in knee on your on your and begging the Saudis like you've been begging OPEC, like you've been basically capitulating to the Iranians because you're too stupid to go back to the policies of energy independence.
Oh, Hannity gas is down $20 a gallon.
Why don't you report that?
Okay.
It's still not $2.39 a gallon, which he inherited.
We're not even putting on the table the most obvious answer.
The American economy is a disaster, especially for the poor, the middle class, and Americans on fixed incomes.
They are getting crushed in all of this because of the climate alarmist religious cultism that they buy into.
Now they want the Iranian nuclear deal.
The even our Western European allies want this done.
They're so stupid.
They didn't learn the idiocy of giving in, like, for example, in Germany to their own environmental extremism extremists and shutting down their own domestic energy production and becoming reliant on a hostile regime, Russia, and a hostile actor, Vladimir Putin, and importing oil, you know, make doing billion dollar deals with Russia.
And now that everybody is obviously stood up and said you can't invade a sovereign country.
Well, that's pissed off Vladimir Putin, so he's turned off the spigot, which by the way, I warned would happen.
Donald Trump warned would happen.
They now appear to want a nuclear deal because they didn't learn a damn thing from the last bit of stupidity they were involved in.
You know, Germany is now Iran's top trading partner.
Italy is now second.
You're doing a deal with the devil.
This is a country that is the number one state sponsor of terrorism.
This is A country that repeatedly calls to annihilate Israel and the United States.
Why would you make them rich again?
When you made Putin rich again, it resulted in an innocent country being invaded.
That didn't work out well for anybody.
And then it gets even worse.
We found out over the weekend.
A lot of GOP lawmakers are angry because Biden apparently last week, following reports of the our emergency strategic petroleum reserves, we're sending oil to China.
More than five million barrels of oil released from the strategic petroleum reserves have been diverted to European and Asian nations instead of U.S. refineries.
He's even dumber than I thought.
If it's even him making the decision.
How our EPA has now announced that they may soon deem parts of the uh Permian Basin in Texas and New Mexico in quote, non-attainment because of ozone standards.
So we give Putin the pipeline.
We're selling oil, our strategic reserves to China.
By the way, the same company Hunter Biden's involved in, but that's it's that's a side note.
You cancel the Keystone XL pipeline.
You cancel new oil leases, you know, uh domestically on federal lands.
You do everything possible to stop production.
You eliminate the possibility of going to Anwar.
And then Biden, then, you know, he's always got to blame somebody.
I thought it was Russia's fault of Ukraine.
Now he's blaming Republicans for every economic problem we have.
I thought it was Russia's fault.
He's blaming Republicans for the country's economic problems.
These are his policies.
Republicans have no power.
They don't have the House, they don't have the Senate, they don't have the White House.
This is all Joe Biden and his new Green Deal, climate alarmist, religious cultist.
And they're obviously not paying attention to the fact that he's on what, an 88% wrong track.
The country's on the wrong track.
Uh, he got a new poll out, which is a disaster for him at 30, what, two, thirty-three percent.
You know, you've got Gina Ramondo praising the strong economy and shrinking unemployment numbers.
Well, let's find out what the CPI is, consumer price index, inflation numbers are when they come out later this week.
I'd see the Wednesday or Friday.
You know, gas station owners are blamed when prices, you know, rose.
Oh, they've gone down a little bit.
Why don't you praise what did Biden do to help increase the world supply?
Nothing.
And getting the increasing the world supply by kissing the ass of countries that hate us is really dumb on top of everything else.
You know, he's blaming Republicans.
Republicans are doing nothing but obstructing.
I mean, what?
Do you believe Americans are idiots that we can't see?
You inherited energy independence.
Why did you abandon it?
Why don't you return to it?
You know, we'll we'll find out if this recession is real.
Remember, inflation was supposed to be transitory.
We'll find out how transitory it is again this week.
You know, she isn't too worried, the commerce secretary about the overall health of the economy.
She has a bone to pick on one particular issue, women's access to participating in the workforce.
What is she talking about?
Pete Buddha judges out there, you know, attacking the airlines as if it's their problem.
Unbelievable.
You know, and every single day you go to a gas station, every store you go to, every time you get your heating and cooling bills, you're going to be reminded Joe caused that.
Joe Biden and the radical Democratic New Green Deal Socialist caused all of this.
Now the economists that correctly predicted inflation is predicting even more.
A lot of hundreds of economists employed by the Federal Reserve or they were blindsided by the wave of inflation.
They all said it was transitory based on their calculation.
Anyway, if you look at, for example, Steve Hank, you know, at the end of 2023, he expects inflation to stay elevated above 6% year over year.
We can't afford 6% Inflation.
It's crushing the people that Democrats claim to have a monopoly of compassion on, but it's not.
Anyways, from Johns Hopkins, the applied economics, and John Greenwood, chief economist at Invesco in London, predicted last July that the U.S. CPI, the most popular measure of inflation, would reach at least six and as much as nine percent by the end of 2021.
Well, the CPI was up 7% in December year over year.
Then we hit a 41-year high in May of 8.6%.
A lot of economists, politicians, Jerome Powell, Biden blamed it on supply chain disruptions and blamed it on Vladimir Putin.
No, it's their policies that are causing this.
You know, natural gas, you know, soaring 700%, becoming the driving force in the new cold war, according to Bloomberg.
Natural gas now rivals oil as the fuel that shapes geopolitics, and there isn't enough to go around.
We have 200 plus years supply of natural gas.
Why don't we use it?
That would be the smart answer.
Don't expect common sense to ever win out in this battle.
*music*
Kind of fascinating to watch the left wing New York Times and other groups now recognizing Joe Biden is not up to the job.
And they want some, but I don't know who they have.
Well, who's on the bench?
Kamala Harris.
You know, she has more word salads out there today than I can even get to in the course of one show.
We'll play some of it later.
Uh, but there's definitely a dump Biden movement, and the Times publishes a lengthy piece, not their first, on Sunday, questioning his mental and physical ability to be president.
And he they do it at a time where a New York Times Siena college poll shows his approval at 33%.
That's about where he is.
It's only a matter of time, I guess, till he gets to the 20s.
And when you read what they say, just a year and a half into his first term, Mr. Biden is already more than a year older than Ronald Reagan was at the end of two terms.
If he mounts another campaign in 2024, Biden would be asking the country to elect a leader who would be 86 at the end of his tenure, testing the outer boundaries of age in the presidency.
Polls show many Americans consider Biden to be too old.
Some Democratic strategists don't think he should run again.
In interviews, some sanctioned by the White House, some not, more than a dozen current former senior officials and advisors acknowledge Biden looks older than just a few weeks ago.
He's a political liability, and it can't be solved by traditional White House strategies like staff shakeups or communication efforts, etc.
His energy level, while impressive for a man as age is not what it was, and some aides quietly watch out for him, and he shuffles when he walks, and aides worry he's gonna trip on a wire.
He stumbles over his words at events, and they hold their breath every time he opens his mouth.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Hey there.
I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started normally a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional SAS.
You're our kind of people.

Now that we made some money for our sponsors, let's go back to making the liberals crazy.
The handman is back on the radio right now.
All right, 25 to the uh top of the hour.
New Kingrich, I think he's releasing a new book today.
He'll join us for the next hour at the top of the hour for Defeating Big Government Socialism, Saving America's Future.
Now I've read all his books over the many, many years.
I think it's the best book he's written and the most timely and the most critical.
Um I've had a chance to go over the book.
It's phenomenal.
Former New York, you know, he's written many New York Times number one bestsellers.
This is, you know, it just captures the moment.
Couldn't be any more timely.
So the Democrats have their own problems.
You got Biden at 33%, New York Times and Siena College poll.
You got the New York Times and many other Democrats making the case they don't want him on the ticket.
How could you want him on the ticket?
Problem is, who's gonna who would move this this climate alarmist religious cult back to the center, or at least some semblance of moderation.
We'll pass abortion, we'll codify row.
Uh women can have abortions up to the moment before birth.
Oh, okay, that's a really really moderate position.
You know, open borders, radical energy policies dependent on foreign countries.
You know, what are they doing that's working?
41-year inflation high.
You know, talk about safety, security.
You following this case in New York, there's a guy chilling video showing a this this guy that works at these bodegas in New York, his name is Jose Alba.
Um, anyway, he's charged with murder.
But you've got the you've got the video on tape.
It was picked up by the New York Post.
We'll show you on TV tonight.
And this guy literally was stabbed while fending off and fatally slashing a violent ex-con, who probably should have been in jail still.
And he battles back.
He he's up against a career criminal, and as the former convict's girlfriend appears to pull a knife from her purse and stab the worker, Simon was the later pronounced dead.
Um, and the guy, he went behind, literally behind the Delhi counter to attack this guy.
And there's audio of it.
I I don't I don't want a problem.
I don't want a problem.
He's heard telling this guy as he's walking behind the counter to attack him.
Where was this guy supposed to run to?
What was he supposed to do?
Why is he being charged with a crime?
He's a victim of crime.
I don't want no trouble.
New footage shows this worker.
Stabbed, you know.
He has to stab the guy to protect himself.
Now there's a Bodega group pitching a stand-your ground law because of all of this.
You have video in Philadelphia.
Teens beat a 73-year-old man to death with a traffic cone in a in an attack caught on video.
I mean, this is all over the country.
It's it's just unconscionable to me.
What is this guy supposed to do?
You know, how about we defend our deli?
How about people have a right to defend themselves?
You know, how do you expect no bail, you know, uh laws to work?
How do you expect the you know, defund by a billion dollars the NYPD?
And by the way, they're not refunding it either.
So that, you know, now people are stuck.
Good luck.
Teens beat this elderly guy in Philly to death.
Unbelievable.
Um, but this is the new modern Democratic Party.
Add to that, you know, what they're doing to our kids in schools, how they're failing all our kids in schools.
It's pretty unbelievable.
Anyway, so Biden's approval at 33%.
Only 26% of Democrats want him to run again.
Um you've got the New York Times as multiple articles now building up of them making the push to get him out of the race.
It's the lowest mark yet in a new national poll.
But name one thing that's worked.
How's that Afghanistan policy worked out?
Nearly a year he's abandoned people there.
How's it working out with the war in Europe?
Joe Biden reads a sentence in a teleprompter, and in the teleprompter says, Well, repeat that line.
He reads, repeat the line.
I'm like, oh man.
You can't.
By the way, and nobody buys the excuse offered by the White House spokesperson.
You know, they're out there, but he's claiming that they're out there claiming that in all of this, I guess one of the press secretaries, I'm not sure who Emil Amelia Simmons happens to be, claims that Biden didn't read the teleprompter, but rather was exhorting others to, you know, let me repeat that line.
He said, let me repeat that line.
The White House transcript of Biden's remarks show what Simmons claimed, but again, the video shows clearly is reading the teleprompter.
End of quote.
Repeat the line.
Just like go into the room, say hello, sit down, act engaged, stand up, shake people's hands, say goodbye.
And then don't think your vice president is any better either.
Kamala Harris, we've got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are, because they you have been forced to have to take this seriously, huh?
Well, what how does what is going on in her brain?
Never mind Nancy Pelosi.
Kamala, well, this really does highlight the importance of elections and who will be elected in terms of who gets elected.
She does it every other day.
You can't you cannot make it up.
So we're going to put her up.
You know, she's gonna be the Democratic candidate.
Who knows what they're saying, even?
Um Joe Hunter and Dr. Jill are starring in their own dramas, by the way, we'll get to in a second.
You know, um, there's nothing that they're doing that is working.
And that's the problem.
And it's hurting you, the American people.
And all of these things, you know, you put them all together, and it is just one more bizarre thing after another.
Joe Biden talking, uh mocking himself to reporters.
I'm gonna look like a fool here in this interview.
I put this helmet on because I knew it was a tough interview.
Well, at least it's better that they won't let me talk, because if I talk, I'm gonna get in trouble and everything, and they don't like when I get in trouble.
But Democrats want them gone.
Vice President Harris calls for, you know, more gun bans.
So the general strategy for Democrats is now emerged.
They're gonna try and scare women into thinking that abortion is outlawed and illegal in America, and it's not.
Then they're gonna run on January 6th.
Now, you know, I've I've I've watched now this whole thing.
They've got two more hearings, and it's like I'm so over it.
How many more times can you say I hate Trump?
Well, what he did is despicable.
Here's the problem with this committee.
They've had a predetermined outcome from the beginning.
You know, for example, everyone praises the hearsay witness Cassidy Hutchins.
I don't know Cassidy Hutchins, and I don't know if she's telling the truth.
But we can get to the bottom of it if we really cared about it.
Why doesn't the committee get the Secret Service on record under oath to see if their testimony, which has been public now for some time, and by the way, we have a new report out.
The Hill pointed out Secret Service doubled down on their denial of this altercation between President Trump and his security detail through back channels, the Secret Service has pushed back on Hutchinson's account.
How about we get the Secret Service on record?
Why don't we do that?
And under oath and see whether the hearsay witnesses testimony is as credible as everybody wants to believe it to be.
You know, everyone believes the hearsay testimony when direct testimony from the Secret Service can confirm whether or not the story she heard is true or not.
She claims it was her handwriting, but we have a Trump lawyer saying, no, that was my handwriting.
Okay, how about you bring in Handwriting experts and determine the truth and veracity of that.
Why won't the committee even pursue the sworn twist testimony of a number of people, which they have not brought up publicly that Donald Trump authorized 20,000 troops.
If you go back, Biden's Department of Defense Inspector General actually did a report on the Department of Defense under Trump and how they handled January 6th.
And what they concluded is the actions of the DOD that they took before January 6, 2021 to prepare for the planned protests in D.C. were appropriate, supported by requirements consistent with the DOD's roles and responsibilities and compliant with laws, regulations, and other applicable guidance.
We concluded the DOD's actions to respond to January 6 were appropriate, supported by requirements, blah, blah, blah.
And they go on to say we determined the decisions by the acting Secretary of Defense, Mr. Miller, Mr. McCarthy, other senior DOD officials in response to the civil disturbance on the Capitol on January 6th were reasonable in light of the circumstances.
We also determined the DOD officials did not delay or obstruct the DOD's response.
And during the evening of January 5th, the president calls in the acting Secretary of Defense to discuss the rallies.
And the Department of Defense secretary tells us the president told them to do what is required to protect the American people.
And then Mr. Miller and General Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, met with the president at the White House at 530.
The primary topic they discussed was unrelated to the scheduled rally the next day, but Mille told us at the end of the meeting, the president told Mr. Miller that there would be a large number of protesters, and Mr. Miller should ensure sufficient National Guard or soldiers would be there to make sure it was a safe event.
On January 5th, Mayor Bowser states in writing that her government is prepared for the planned election protest and does not require the help of federal law enforcement agencies.
So she denied it.
But if you wanted the truth, you know, that contradicts the whole narrative.
Unbelievable.
I'm so sick of hearing about this.
Because you know what?
If they really cared about rights, wouldn't they care about the 574 riots in the summer of 2020?
By the way, the laptop from hell, we got new information.
Hunter Biden filming himself weighing his crack.
We got Hunter Biden disparaging Joe Biden as a vindictive moron, selfish, use the C word on top of it.
Miranda Devine has a piece.
Certainly looks, you know, like a lot of Hutzpa for the president to place his scandal-ridden son front and center at the White House function last week, and that he popped up at the Medal of Freedom ceremony to Gladhand and Network in the front row.
Senator Ron Johnson is saying the laptop is a treasure trove of information.
And anyway, the laptop apparently had contacts for Google executives and U.S. officials for China policy.
Wow, I wonder if that's why China is getting some of our U.S. strategic oil reserves.
Because amid Hunter's ongoing scandals, Biden is going soft on China.
Why is he going soft on China?
Why did he go soft on Russia?
Well, both countries that Hunter made a lot of money on.
Pretty outrageous.
Marsha Blackburn ripped Biden's China first policy.
Well, I mean, if it was Trump, don't you think they would investigate whether or not there might be a little bit of conflict of interest here?
You would think so.
Arizona Democrats demand uh damned independence day with an F the fourth tweet.
You know.
You can't even make this up.
On top of Joe Biden saying he hopes that people keep protesting as it relates to the Supreme Court.
Yeah, Pete Budajudge saying officials like Cabinot.
Now, this guy survived an assassination plot.
They should expect public protests.
I'd never, for the life of me, ever, ever give out the address of any public figure.
And if something happens, my conscience, I'd I'd feel horrible.
Biden encouraging abortion rights act uh rights activists, keep protesting.
And of course, fights with uh Jean Pierre shutting down anti abortion questions uh there.
Buddha judge defending Kavanaugh protests right to demonstrate during his dinner.
People are upset.
They're gonna exercise their their First Amendment rights.
I'm all fine with that.
But in front of the homes of Supreme Court justices.
Now, by the way, there's a group out there offering 250 bucks if you give out the location of such public figures.
Uh does anybody out there have a problem with that?
Does anyone have a problem with executive orders?
You know, bypassing the legislative branch of government to codify Roe.
Anyway, House Democrats have started running against Joe Biden.
According to Politico, pro abortion terror groups puts a bounty on the heads of Supreme Court justices.
Anyway, shut down D.C. tweeted Friday, they would pay 50 bucks to anyone that chairs a confirmed sighting of the justices, adding they'd pay 200 bucks if they were still in the location where they were sighted after 30 minutes.
Well, that's like inviting a flash mob.
This, of course, after Justice Kavanaugh was run out of a Morton Steakhouse through the kitchen door.
Unbelievable.
These states are doing great run by Democrats.
You got video now of an elementary school, some kids in San Francisco getting off the bus, then being forced to pick their way through a crowd of homeless drug addicts shooting up in broad daylight.
We've got the video.
