All right, news roundup information overload hour, 800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Our friend Dr. Ben Carson will join us in a minute.
He's got a new book out, Red, White, and Blue, Our Flag Matters to Me and to You.
It's part of his children's book series that he's been involved in.
It's the second in a series, published as part of what they're calling the Little Patriots Program.
It's an educational outreach program for kids created by a nonprofit group called American Cornerstone Institute.
And they use lessons and cartoons rooted in American history and the Little Patriots program.
And they focus on America's four founding pillars of faith, liberty, community, life, and celebrating all the values that make our country great, which you're not hearing in public schools today.
There's a story that came out on FoxNews.com.
I am not making this up.
Apparently, New York City has shelled out a whopping $200,000 in taxpayer money over the last number of years to bring in drag queens into the classroom to interact with school kids.
This report goes on to say as young as three years old.
You know, the events involve cross-dressed drag queen performers reading the school kids of public schools, libraries, other LBGTQ centers, et cetera, et cetera.
Three years old?
They're your kids.
You raise them with your values.
And you ought not send your kids to school, not only not get a decent education, but have your kids indoctrinated into a value system that you perhaps disagree with.
Many parents do disagree with it.
But if schools want to set up after-school opt-in programs on these topics and parents that are uncomfortable talking about these topics with their kids and they send the curriculum to the parents so they can approve it and they want to do it after school, I'm all in favor of opting in as many of these social issues that they want to talk about, they can talk about.
Otherwise, let the parents instill the values they believe in.
It's that simple to me.
Anyway, Dr. Carson is with us.
He's now totally on board on this.
And this book, Red, White, and Blue, Our Flag Matters to Me and You, is on Amazon.com.
We've put a link on Hannity.com and it's in bookstores everywhere for kids.
How are you, my friend?
I'm doing very well, Sean.
Delighted to hear your opening remarks there.
So vitally important because, you know, children are young.
They're very impressionable.
You know, the book of Proverbs, it says, train up a child the way he should go when he's old and not depart from it.
And of course, Vladimir Lenin knew that when he said, give me your children to teach for four years and the seed that I sow will never be uprooted.
A lot of the Marxists analyzed our system, and they recognized that the United States was much too strong to bring down militarily.
But they felt that the place where we had maybe some vulnerability was with our families and with our morals and our values.
And if they could attack those things, which they have been doing through the school system, through Hollywood and sports media, and basically controlling the thinking of our young people and trying to tell them what is important.
And as you mentioned, that is really something that should come from the family structure.
The schools should be involved with teaching our children our history, math, and science, reading.
They have to be literate because we only have 330 million people.
We have to compete with China and India who have four times that many people.
That means we need to develop all of our people.
We can't be fooling around with drag queens and stuff like that.
We really need to be getting to the basics.
Listen, I don't care what values parents, I want to be very clear here.
I'm fairly libertarian on this point, Dr. Carson.
You know what?
I believe in liberty.
I believe in freedom.
And I don't think people's lives are any of my business.
They're personal lives.
And the values that people want to instill in their children, they're not my children.
You've got to raise your children the best way you believe is possible.
And you have that right as a parent.
Right.
You have that right as a parent.
Now, with that said, if we're not succeeding with the fundamentals in education, and we're not, we're failing miserably.
I don't think we have time for, you know, for, first of all, it's not age-appropriate for young kids, in my strong opinion.
But secondly, focus on the fundamentals.
And if they want to create programs, after-school programs, and make parents, make it available to parents, I'm all in favor of that.
Go ahead.
You know, teach whatever you want.
There are parents that, for whatever reason, are afraid of being totally blunt and honest with their kids on issues of sexuality, et cetera.
I have no problem laying it out for my kids.
I just don't give a rip.
I lay it out in raw terms, and I just don't care.
Well, you know, quite frankly, the immature mind is not ready to deal with, am I a girl or am I a boy, any more so than a third grader is equipped to deal with calculus.
And at some point, we have to start exercising some common sense here.
But one of the reasons that we've worked so hard with the Little Patriots program is to make sure that our children actually learn who we are and get the proper perspective and realize this is a pretty great place that we live in here.
You know, why I stand for the flag, red, white, and blue, why it matters to me and you.
Teach our children what that flag actually means.
What it means to have the freedoms that you have to say what you want to say, to do what you want to do, to become what you want to become.
What went into that?
What sacrifices were made.
And I think when you present that the right way to young children, they start becoming proud.
But so many people have stood in the background and they just say, well, you know, those are professionals, those teachers, they know what they're doing.
And they don't stand up for what we believe in as a country.
And we have to be proactive.
We can't just sort of stand in the background and hope for the best.
So, you know, these programs that we've put together for the children, first of all, free of charge.
The online programs, we have professional cartoonists.
We have someone who just came from Disney who was not a woke person.
By the way, what's the website so parents can have that?
LilPatriotslearning.com.
And the proceeds from the book are all poured back into the program to create even more programs for our young people.
See, I love the fact, I know this is your passion, but your life story mirrors a lot of where this is coming from.
I love the story about how your mom didn't particularly like that you were hanging out on the streets too much and said, uh-uh, no more.
You're staying home and you're going to learn to read and read proficiently.
And she forced you, and I believe it's your brother, if my memory serves me well, and literally forced you out of love to put education as her top priority for her kids.
That's exactly right.
And then you became this brilliant brain surgeon.
Her friends didn't like it, and they were saying that we would grow up and that we would hate her.
And I would sometimes overhear them, and I would say, Mother, you know they're right, but we still had to do it anyway.
I hate you for making me study.
I've always been the bad guy.
I have no problem being the disciplinarian when needed.
But you know what?
I believe that if you love your kids, you've got to be all over them.
I mean, it's so scary out there today.
I can't imagine what it's like to be a kid and the propaganda that they're hearing and all this stuff about masking and not being able to see people's facial expressions that you may be carrying some horrible disease that you give to your grandmother and kill her, even though you don't feel bad.
I mean, why would you put that on a kid?
I don't know.
Quick break more with Dr. Carson.
Don't forget his website for a lot of free stuff for your kids, littlepatriotslearning.com.
They also have a book.
All the money gets literally turned around and put back into this great organization.
But there's so much free stuff they're offering.
But anyway, the book is called Red, White, and Blue.
Our flag matters to me and you.
Look, I've been telling you about my pillow products for years.
Why?
Because they work.
And I fall asleep faster.
I stay asleep longer.
And you know what?
That's good for your overall general health, period.
They've done it again.
Mike Lindell took over two years now to develop his My Slippers.
He wanted to make sure this is not like any other ordinary slipper.
Now, it's made with a three-tier cushioning system.
It has two layers of MySlippers foam and a layer of impact gel.

The information you need, the truth you demand.
This is the Sean Hannity Show.
I will continue.
Dr. Ben Carson is with us, now part of an organization that is teaching things like, oh, America is a great country to kids.
They got a lot of free stuff on their website for your kids at littlepatriotslearning.com, littlepatriotslearning.com.
By the way, what are your thoughts medically?
I'm changing topics a little bit on this monkeypox thing.
I think everybody realized that that was a little bit over the top.
So that's why that story has disappeared so quickly.
Well, it didn't quite disappear as the CDC.
Apparently, they have a vaccine for it.
Did you know that?
By the way, I have given up any hope in ever listening to the NIH again or the CDC again or Walinski or Fauci.
I've had it with all of them.
I gave them in the beginning the benefit of the doubt.
I understood that maybe they didn't understand everything.
Now we know that they knew because they helped fund through the Eco Alliance Group, the Wuhan Virology Lab, where they knew coronaviruses were studied and they knew gain of function research took place.
And now we have enough information that shows us they knew and they didn't tell us.
As a matter of fact, many of them lied to us.
The worst thing is that they would not acknowledge the importance and the efficacy of natural immunity.
And the reason that they wouldn't do that is because then they couldn't say that everybody has to have the jab.
So they do things according to their goals, not according to what the data shows and what's true.
And therefore, it's going to be a very long time before people trust them again.
And that's detrimental to our country.
I'm not going to trust them again.
Are you?
And how is it that we had, since Donald Trump got it in 2020, before the election, and he got an infusion of Regeneron, the monoclonal antibodies, and there are different monoclonal antibodies for different variants.
And they don't inform the American people of that.
And now we find out there's a story last week that people that are boostered are way more likely to contract the latest variant of Omicron, BA2.
How is CDC saying it?
So what does that tell us about their one-size-fits-all, get a vaccination, get a booster, get a second vaccination, get another booster, get another booster?
And meanwhile, they never talk about the therapeutics, if you get COVID, that were always readily available if they wanted to give it to people.
And they became, at times, impossible to find.
But of course, with the therapeutics, if you have a viable alternative, you cannot issue an EUA.
That was the FDA's rule.
And therefore, they had to badmouth or depreciate any of the therapeutics.
Joe Biden didn't mention monoclonal antibodies until his vaccine mandate speech.
And then he then, the federal government, took control over it because states like Florida were using too much of it.
I mean, because they had figured out once we had Delta, that variant was the first breakthrough variant.
Well, Sean, this is the exact reason why we, the people, have got to get involved.
We can't stand in a corner and just complain.
And that's why people have got to learn to vote the right way.
You don't go into the bloating booth and just look for the name that looks familiar.
You have to know whether they match with your values.
If we don't do that, we're going to continue to get the same kind of results.
And it's destroying us.
And I don't know that we have a whole lot more time to correct it, to be honest with you.
I will tell you, it's a scary time for everybody.
And by the way, there are primaries going on today.
One such primary is going on in the state of Nevada.
We have vetted and supported and we're endorsing Adam Laxalt for that Senate race so we can get the Senate back.
I know you and I were on the same side supporting Dr. Oz in Pennsylvania.
I think he'll make a great senator from that state.
He's a true conservative.
I've had many conversations with him.
Yeah, I mean, I'm not supporting him.
I'm not supporting any candidate that I don't know is a conservative.
And I just refuse to.
I want people that are fighters, that are conservative, that will go to Washington and not change.
In the case of Dr. Oz, he's had all the fame he ever wanted.
He's not there for fame.
He's doing it to serve his country.
I know it because I've talked to him enough.
And just like when I told people that Donald Trump would govern conservatively.
Anyway, listen, there's one other guy, just let me mention, if you don't mind, that is running for treasurer out there.
Manny Kess is a good guy if you're out there voting in Nevada today for Adam Laxalt.
Manny is a pretty good guy and is a friend of my friends and loves this guy.
But anyway, Dr., I want to give out the record.
I want to thank you.
You've had a very good record in picking the right people.
So I just want to thank you.
Yeah, and then people get mad at me and they say, you're not a conservative.
I'm like, just shut up.
I'm sick of you.
Anyway, littlepatriotslearning.com, it's free.
And if you want to get a copy of the book, you can get it in bookstores, but you don't have to.
You can still just go to littlepatriotslearning.com.
A lot of free stuff for your kids.
There's a new program, Star-Springled Adventures, also free of charge.
You can get it at that same website.
It's going to be spectacular cartoons that the kids will love.
You can download pamphlets, all of this free of charge, because we have great, wonderful sponsors.
That's really cool.
And I'm not surprised because I know your heart.
Dr. Carson, thanks for being with us.
We always love having you.
800-941-Sean is our number.
You want to be a part of the program.
Hey there.
I'm Mary Catherine Hammond.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.

That's why we started Normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass.
You're our kind of people.

All right, 25 now to the top of the hour, 800-941.
Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
All right, let's get to our phones here.
A lot of you have been very patient today.
Let's say hi to Sean is in the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Sean, hey, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Hey, Sean, it's Sean.
Good point.
You had Lee on yesterday, and you're talking about expanding the courts.
The Democrats want to expand the courts, yada, yada.
I understand where their motivation comes from, but I've always been wondering why neither the Republicans nor the Democrats want to increase the size of the House.
It increased every 10 years, all the way through 1911.
And then apparently Democrats thought there were too many black folks voting in the South.
Republicans thought there were too many workers getting uppity in the North.
And they just stopped expanding the size of the House.
And ever since been just gerrymandering that 435 and just hushing out the minority, hushing out the minority.
And no wonder people get upset and feel like they're not being heard.
It's been interesting this year, though.
The courts have stepped in, for example, in New York, and they said, no, your gerrymandering is so abusively corrupt for putting an advantage on Democrats.
They didn't put up with it.
And the courts redrew the maps for the New York state legislature.
Yeah.
My brother used to live in the most gerrymandered district in all of Maryland, Howard County in Baltimore.
There was one really interesting gerrymandering district when I was in Atlanta between 92 and 96.
And the congresswoman at the time was Cynthia McKinney.
It literally went from Atlanta, Georgia, all the way down to Savannah, Georgia.
And it was like, you know, they literally carved out every Democratic vote they could in between.
And it was unbelievable.
But my question here is, you know, they have 600 members in Parliament, House of Commons, 600 in that little island.
We have 435.
We should have 1,000 representatives.
Why will neither party do it?
It's a simple vote in the House.
I'm leaning more towards term limits.
You know, the freedom part of me, the freedom-loving part of me says, you know, if people are doing a good job and you want to keep this person in because they're doing a good job longer, they should have the choice.
The problem is, I don't know what happens.
They go to Washington, maybe with the best of intentions, and they change.
If people knew if you went to Congress and you could only run for two terms and in four years, you're going back to the real world and you could only have one or two terms in the U.S. Senate, I think you would get people there more dedicated towards service than thinking about their reelection efforts.
And I think it's sort of like a trust verify type of thing.
Okay, you want to serve, serve your time, then go back home and go back into the real world.
And I think people would be more inclined to take tougher positions, stand their ground, be unwilling to compromise the principles that they run on.
And I think it'd be better for everybody.
Look, Kevin McCarthy on my show, he had a big makeup with Donald Trump recently.
We put him on the show last night.
And Kevin McCarthy is saying they are going to make promises to Americans and they're going to put their name on it.
And I don't think it's a gimmick.
I think it's I want them to sign that document and then hold them accountable.
If they say they're going to do this stuff, then they need to do it.
And unfortunately, being in Washington, there's like an addictive personality thing, narcissism that goes on.
And people love being called senator and congressman and governor.
You know what?
It's a little ridiculous.
You know, New Hampshire, what is it?
Every two years, the governor comes up for re-election.
I think it's every two years, every two years or every four years.
I forget.
But you get one term, and then you got to get re-elected.
In other words, you get your report card then.
I like that idea.
Everybody should be held accountable.
And you're right.
They have these safe districts and there's a lot of voter apathy out there at times.
And one of the reasons is we're so overtaxed.
We're so overburdened.
We're so stressed out with our families and jobs because of their policies that people don't have the time to put the attention into it that, say, people like I do because this is what I do for a living.
And I totally get it.
You wake up, you know, you work your 14, 16 hours a day.
You get your kids, you know, ready for school out to the school bus, give them some breakfast, give them a little lunch to take with them, whatever you're doing.
Then you put in your work hours, you come home, you help them with their homework, you eat dinner, throw some spaghetti together or whatever, and say your prayers and say goodnight.
And you do that grind every day, and it's rough.
Then you add in when the kids get older, then they got their sports activities they got to go to.
All right, add that to your schedule.
And then you're trying to juggle work, sports, school, studying, grades.
I mean, it's tough.
So then, how do you get informed?
Well, that's my job is to try to keep people informed that are busy and try to break things down as quickly as possible.
But you're right about gerrymandering.
You're right about all of it.
And I would rather we had a more informed, engaged electorate.
But the reality is, I don't think it's possible for most people through no fault of their own, really.
Anyway, Sean, thank you.
Lamar, Mississippi, next, Sean Hannity Show.
Sean, how you doing, brother?
What's up, brother?
How are you?
Man, I'm doing five.
Well, look, I'll be real quick.
Couple questions for you.
You know, I understand Obama when Obama was there.
He was against the Keystone pipeline.
But then, when, by the grace of God, Donald Trump was elected, he signed that order and they started putting money, infrastructure into that project.
And then President Biden gets elected and he stops it.
I, as an average American citizen, do not understand.
I mean, a mayor can't do that.
A governor, whether they like a project or not, want to take a look at the hands.
Lamar, let me cut to the chase.
I have your answer.
Elections have consequences.
You know what the Alberta.
I understand that.
Yeah.
But the Premier in Alberta has said this pipeline would have been fixed by now.
We would every single day, had Joey not canceled that, be getting 900,000 barrels of Canadian oil into that pipeline into our country a day.
But what is not happening is it at a time we're paying $5 and whatever, 12 cents a gallon.
Let me ask you this question, Sean.
As you are a smart guy, and you talk to a lot of guys that are really ladies, men that are really smart.
But how do we, when we get a new Congress that's going to be elected for next year, and then we get a new president, hopefully Donald Trump in 2024, how do we stop this revolving door of executive orders?
And how do we stop the changing regulations by unelected bureaucrats in our country that just totally just decimate our economy?
Look, some executive orders are legitimate.
Those are enumerated powers for the presidency.
Donald Trump on day one eliminated more regulations than any one president in the modern era.
So I'm not necessarily in favor of getting rid of all executive orders, but there are also unconstitutional ones.
I mean, Joe Biden's suggesting he might, by executive order, if Roe is overturned, put out an executive fiat.
That would be unconstitutional, in my opinion.
Just like I felt there were certain times that Barack Obama did things that he himself had said previously were unconstitutional.
You know, so look, what it really comes down to is America is always in the end.
We're going to get the government we deserve.
And this is about if I think Joe's failures have sufficiently captured the American people's attention.
And that means they're pissed off and they have every right to be.
There's no reason that we have open borders.
We had secure borders because of Trump policies.
There's no reason that we should be begging Iran, the Saudis, OPEC nations, and Venezuela for oil when we have more than sufficient resources here.
It's good for national security, high-paying jobs for Americans, career jobs.
It's good to, if you want to lower inflation, you want to lower the cost of a gallon of gasoline, then produce the hell out of it.
The same with gas, natural gas.
I'd produce so much that we could literally give it, sell it to our friends in Western Europe and make a fortune and America gets rich again, pay down our debt, you know, eliminate our deficits.
We could make billions and billions of dollars doing this.
And they're not doing it.
So they put their climate religious cult philosophy above the American people.
That's the only thing you can conclude here.
Now the answer is: will the American people rise up and throw these jackasses out where they belong?
They belong.
They all deserve to get fired.
Anybody that's not on the secure borders, lower taxes, energy independence, less bureaucracy, bandwagon, law and order bandwagon, school choice bandwagon needs to go.
They need to be fired.
I agree.
Sorry, my friend.
God bless you.
Appreciate the call.
Let's stay on this topic.
Gary is in California.
Gary, how are you?
Hey, Sean, thanks for taking my call.
I'm a little concerned about the midterm, and I haven't heard much about this, but if the Republicans take the House and the Senate back over, are they really going to do anything, or is it going to be a bunch of whining rhinos?
In 2016, if I remember right, when President Trump was elected, the Republicans had the House and the Senate, so we had everything.
We had the Oval Office House and Senate, and nothing significant got done.
I remember at that point, Paul Ryan was the speaker, and I remember interviewing him, and I'd always gotten along with him.
And he promised me that he was going to do X, Y, and Z.
And I said, if I come back here in a year, you're telling me all of these things will be accomplished.
I remember the interview like it was yesterday.
And a year later, they weren't accomplished.
Now, the plan for the Republicans, at least in the House, and I hope Senate candidates adopt this as well, is they're going to lay out their agenda in writing.
Candidates are going to make a pledge.
And if they sign that document, when it gets done, we'll look at it.
We'll go over it in great detail.
And if they sign their name to it and they go to Washington, they need to pass all those bills.
They need to mean it, assume that Joe Biden will veto it, and that'll make the case.
This is the agenda.
We'll pass them again.
And then this time we'll have a Republican president that will sign them into law.
And we can secure our border.
We can fix our economy.
We can eliminate dependence on energy.
And we can make America wealthy again.
I think that's a great plan.
But it's going to take the American people active and involved.
And it's going to take making sure that election integrity measures are adopted by every state.
Been saying that since the beginning of 2021.
Well, I'm 70 years old.
I was a military policeman in the Army.
I was a motor officer when I got out.
So I've been around on Earth a long time, and I've seen things come and go.
And I really hope you're right.
I hope that we hold their feet to the fire at the midterms.
But what people don't understand is that democracies are really fragile, and they need constant work, and they need attention, and they need to be nurtured.
And people are forgetting that and they're overlooking that.
And the new generations have completely ignored it.
And like Ronald Reagan once said, freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction.
And that's the same thing with democracy, I believe.
But don't you, Gary, think every time somebody goes to a gas station now, they're waking up.
Don't you think every time everyone goes grocery shopping or goes to the drugstore and they look at the price increases that they're waking up?
Because, you know what?
I lived a life where I live paycheck to paycheck.
It sucks.
I can afford it, and it pisses me off.
It really does.
And it angers me more when I know that people that are really struggling are now impacted by these disastrous policies.
I think they're waking up.
Well, I agree with you.
I hope they're waking up.
But I go, I buy gas every day like everybody else.
I go to the stores.
I see the prices raising.
I just, I don't see a lot of action.
Well, the dem that's left is blocking all that.
The people have got to wake up.
The people, we, you and me and everybody else that votes has got to wake up and we've got to hold these guys' feet to the fire.
And we have to make them do what they promised to do when they're trying to get elected and not just ignore it when nothing happens.
And we got our bowl of rice and our six-pack of beer and we're happy.
It shouldn't be like that.
We need to wake up.
I am with you.
I totally completely agree.
And you're right.
We have to wake up.
And I'm hoping that every time you pay your $5 a gallon, $6 a gallon, seven.
We had a place last night, $9.63 in one town in California for a gallon of gasoline.
I think the people are going to wake up.
I think this has all the potential to be a massive wave election.
And the course correction will begin in 2022, but it's got to culminate in a Republican president being elected in 2024.
It's got to.
Somebody that stands by these same principles.
