President Trump summoned the mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack.
Turn on the TV.
Look at the ads.
When's the last time you saw biracial couples on TV?
The problem is that the price of gas at the pump is now up about a dollar seventy since Putin began amassing troops at the border.
And so I wanted you to react to what Cardi B is saying.
Don't look to me to announce it.

This is a special edition of the Sean Hannity Show.
America trapped behind enemy lines.
Day number 300.
I take 300 Joey, your president abandoned our fellow Americans in the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan and 313 days since he promised he'd never do that, and he's turned the page, as has everybody else in the mob in the media, and they don't talk about it.
How would you feel if it was your family member?
Or maybe somebody you know that has a legitimate green card, thousands of those people were abandoned, uh, that has the right to live in this country.
What if you were an Afghan ally?
You were promised that if this day ever came, we would we would take you out.
What would you do then?
I mean, how sad is all of that?
Anyway, 800 941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
You know, I told you this was going to be a disaster.
David Axelrod called this right in terms of the the two-hour extravaganza last night on every television network.
The early ratings are in, and it's about half of what a Donald Trump State of the Union speech would be.
I mean, that's how I mean 21 million people.
I mean, that is like next to nothing.
So the idea, they came out of the box, and I knew within seconds that this was going to be a disaster for them.
They had nothing.
It was a basically one more time to bludgeon Trump.
But there was some interesting things that I picked up that came out of this that I don't think anyone else really picked up on.
And number one, Liz Cheney admitting that this was all pre-planned.
Now, if it was pre-planned, then the question remains the person responsible for the safety and security of the Capitol, that would be the Speaker of the House.
That would be Nancy Pelosi.
Why isn't she being called in and saying, Well, you had this information.
Why didn't you call up the National Guard?
Nobody's gonna ask her that question.
Nobody's gonna ask Muriel Bowser, who in writing rejected the National Guard being called up, that the president had authorized the day before she rede rejected it on January 5th.
Then of course we have all of these instances Now.
And it's funny because she's Liz also parsed word.
She said, well, it's not true that Donald Trump called in the National Guard on January 6th.
Nobody's making that claim.
Nobody's making that claim.
By that time it was too late.
The point was that he did authorize it, and we have four witnesses to the fact.
Two of the witnesses I know testified to this under oath before her committee.
That would be the Department of Defense Chief of Staff, Cash Patel, and the Acting Secretary of Defense, Chris Miller.
They have all this information.
We have four of the five people in the room specifically recalling Mark Meadows himself, Donald Trump himself, Cash Patel, the defense secretary, Chris Miller, that Donald Trump on January 4th authorized up to 20,000 troops.
Now they're admitting last night that the riot was pre-planned.
So the next logical question is why didn't they, if you knew this was coming, why didn't they act?
That would be the next logical question.
And then the January 6th committee may consider why the Capitol wasn't prepared for a riot.
They may do that.
And then of course it became what we all knew it would be, another opportunity to just go after Donald Trump, bash Donald Trump.
And the worst part of all of this is the fallout, because this ended up being a bomb, nothing, a regurgitation.
But we have new video.
It looks the same as all the other video out there.
You know, as we were saying in live real time on this radio program that day and on TV that night, this cannot happen in America.
And if they cared about riots, they would have cared about the 574 riots in the summer of 2020.
How many times do I have to say it?
Dozens of Americans dead.
You might remember the interview with Horace Lorenzo Anderson Sr.
He lost his son in the summer of love Chaz Chop Autonomy Zone.
The spaghetti potlug dinner zone.
This poor man lost his namesake as his son that day.
We stayed in touch with him.
He's a wonderful man, and he'll never be the same because he lost his precious child.
I mean, who would be the same?
Um and now we find out this this where did I see this earlier today?
This was an Axios.
Democrats apparently now are leaning on this committee hearing from last night in prime time.
You know, all the major networks took it.
You had fake news CNN took it, and and MSDNC took it.
By the way, they get better numbers with a hearing than they do with their own programs by like fourfold.
It's hilarious.
And anyway, so anyway, it set off a debate in Washington, and they're now hoping that this will boost, according to Axios, the party's grassroots fundraising program.
And now you have a handful of top Democratic Party committees invoking this investigation in digital ads and in fundraising appeals.
In other words, they're trying to raise money off of the hearings for the November elections.
What's happening is the peace goes on party committees, such as the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee have peppered supporters with ads and emails about the hearing this week.
Quote the January 6th panel announces eight hearings to be held in June, declared one DSCC email subject line.
Uh, the message polled recipients about whether they'd watch, then directed them to their fundraising page.
The DCC, uh the DCC is is now using its organized chair, January 6th committee member Jamie Raskin to fill out fundraising appeals with emails, digital ads featuring the Maryland Democrat trying uh tying donation appeals to the investigation.
Oh, so we're gonna fundraise off this?
Oh, okay.
If they cared about riots, if they cared what where's the committee for the summer of 2020 riots.
If they care about real security, if they don't want this to ever happen again, and by the way, I don't want it to ever happen again.
I don't want the riots in the summer of 2020 to ever happen again.
You know how you do that?
You refund the police, you stop dismantling the police, you give the police the necessary tools to do the job, and and that would include uh crowd dis you know getting rid of big crowds using tear gas or Whatever you have to use, the normal tools uh to disperse crowds like that.
Um, it's not that complicated.
I would also give police officers more training.
I would give police officers more options.
I've I've talked at length about a product that I've purchased many, many times.
I've given them away as gifts to people, and it's called a burner gun, B Y R N A, and it shoots projectiles with two tear gases, no, one tear gas and two pepper sprays, and it incapacitates somebody if they break into your home.
And the good news, if if law enforcement has it, I I can literally literally hit a target 40 feet away.
Um it's simple to use.
Anyone can use it, and it works.
And it gives police a non-lethal option.
If they make a mistake, the person's not dead.
If they may make a mistake, the person just needs to rinse out their eyes, and it's just like being tear gassed.
Not exactly ideal.
You don't want any of these situations, but knowing the reality, crime exists, you would you would go there.
Anyway, so that's what they're doing, but it's um, you know, they plan to prove Trump's culpability here.
If Donald Trump organized, planned, orchestrated all of this the way they are trying to make this narrative go.
Then you gotta ask the question why did he authorize 20,000 troops to be called up?
And if you really want to prevent them from happening again, why don't you get the speaker of the house, Muriel Bowser, the sergeant at arms in the house, the sergeant at arms in the Senate, the Capitol Police Chief who three days before started asking for the guard himself after a revised threat assessment, talked about specific instances of chatter about violence on that day.
Why don't you bring those people in?
The only people they want to bring in are people that are gonna bludgeon conservatives and bludgeon Trump and bludgeon Trump supporters.
You know, it's just another, you know, the third impeachment of Trump.
That's all this is.
And it just was a thud, it was a dud.
It was dull, it was boring, it was a rehash of everything we've already known.
We learned nothing new except they're admitting that they, which is pretty amazing, actually, that it was all pre-planned.
Now find the people responsible for planning it, find the people responsible for breaking the law and hold them accountable.
But I'd also add to that, go back to the summer of 2020.
You still have video footage of a lot of crimes being committed.
And let's go back and arrest every person involved in the writing that took place all that summer, and the people involved in arson, and the people that were throwing bricks and rocks and bottles and Molotov cocktails at cops, and the people burning down police precincts.
Let's get all those people and let's arrest them too.
I mean, it's not that hard.
Let's refund the police, stop dismantling the police, give them more training, give them more options.
I like that burner gun option, which is non-lethal.
Give them give them the tools that they need to do their job the right way.
You can't pursue happiness if you don't have law and you don't have order.
You can't pursue happiness if you don't have safety and security.
You know, these are things we can do.
Just like we can protect every kid in every school in this country.
We could have undercover, armed, trained, retired police, retired military, and they can protect our kids.
One point of entry, no side doors open, and also metal detectors in every school.
We can do it if we want to.
In other words, provide our children the exact same protection that we give our elected officials, the same protection that Hollywood stars can afford for themselves.
It's unbelievable.
Um now moving on to the economy.
We'll spend a lot of time on this today.
Uh we're only going to do little quick check-ins on some of the races around the country.
Tuesday is the primary in Nevada.
Um, and Adam Laxalt will check in for a few minutes today.
Uh, Dr. Oz declared the winner in Pennsylvania.
Uh, we'll just give you a little preview of his matchup against uh Democrat.
By the way, Bernie Sanders twin, a guy by the name of, oh, what's this?
John Fetterman is his name.
Um, and I want to introduce you to a really cool guy, former combat decorated combat vet who's running uh for a district in Chicago, one of the Chicago suburbs that we really like.
Well, we'll do quick hits, we'll take a lot of calls today.
Um, there's nothing that I can tell you in terms of the economy being good.
It just Isn't.
And I don't know if I'm making a mistake by telling you this.
By the way, gas prices now went up again yet today.
The national average is $4.98 a gallon.
Yesterday, the Dow in anticipation of the inflation numbers, consumer price index numbers, uh lost 600 additional points.
What's the Dow at now, Linda?
I don't have it up on my TV.
You know, you gotta look.
Let me know as soon as you do.
Just feel free to dive in.
Um, and and you see Joe down to another 640.
So in the last two days, it's down, you know, 1240.
And by the way, most Americans, you have an IRA.
If you have any type of money in the stock market, any retirement account, guess what?
You're losing money.
When you look at the actual amount of money, and I'll give it to you the numbers to you later, it's phenomenal.
It's so dramatically high, it's frightening.
If you look at your retirement account, you're gonna have a heart attack.
Don't even look at it right now.
Anyway, job uh claims rise, they say, quote, unexpectedly.
Uh anyway, for the first week of June, 229 uh thousand, upwardly upwardly revised 202,000 a week earlier.
Uh, two-thirds of Americans now expect Biden's inflation crisis is going to get worse.
I agree with the two-thirds.
The Biden inflation nightmare just got worse as the labor department earlier today, as we knew would happen, uh, pointed out the consumer price index, inflation index increased to 8.6%.
That is a record high.
That is, by the way, marking the fastest rise in inflation since December of 1981, and was also up from April's consumer price index, which was slightly below the previous 40-year high that was reached in March.
So here we go.
We're going in the wrong direction.
Um, and the cost of a gallon of gasoline now three four dollars and ninety-eight cents.
Do you ever think you'd have that?
We were paying $239 a gallon when Joey took office.
Two, and he's begging the Saudis, begging OPEC, begging Venezuela, begging Iran.
How stupid can these Democrats be?
How locked in are they to this climate alarmist religious cult of theirs?
It's insanity.
This is a form of insanity.
It's hey there.
I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started normally a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.

It's not going to work.
It's not going to work.
Holding them accountable.
Sean gets the answers.
No one else does.
America deserves to know the truth about Congress.
25 to the uh top of the hour, 800 941 Sean, our number.
You want to be a part of the program.
All right, so here we are, 41 year high.
The CPI, consumer price index measures inflation, increased to a record 8.6%, the fastest pace since December of 1981.
Uh 41 year high.
And who does Joe Biden blame?
He blames either Vladimir Putin, he blames climate change, he Blames those greedy oil companies, profiteering corporations.
He blames the Fed, now shipping companies.
You know, he's tweeting out it's hard to believe this has to be said, but unlike this president, I'll do my job and take responsibility.
I won't blame others, he said.
And I'll never forget the job isn't about me, it's about you.
Uh yeah.
Where did that philosophy go?
Moody's analytics, $4.60, uh, $460 more per month is what you're paying for goods and services.
Somebody just told me and texted me, I gotta check it.
I read this morning that the average price of gas was $4.98 a gallon.
I was just told it might have gone above $5 a gallon.
It's going there anyway.
Uh, you know, I don't think the American people are wrong.
Two-thirds of Americans now expect inflation is going to get worse in the coming year.
Only 21% expect it to get better.
Uh, 12% think it'll be stay the same.
As I've been telling you, two-thirds of Americans now are living paycheck to paycheck.
I've lived there, it's not fun.
Get this.
It's so bad soaring gas prices are actually forcing police departments to limit their responses to criminal complaints.
This is out of Michigan, the Detroit Free Press from earlier in the week because of skyrocketing gas prices.
We now have police departments.
I didn't know this around the nation being forced to cut back on their response to criminal complaints.
They go and uh point out in this article that the average gas price in Michigan well over five bucks a gallon.
At least one Michigan police uh force said it is about to go over its fuel budget and is now asking officers to handle whatever calls are acceptable by phone.
According to the Isabella County Sheriff's Office, they said it is feeling the pay, they're feeling the pain at the pump.
They have exhausted what funds were budgeted for gasoline several months ago before the budget reset.
The county administrator confirmed that 96% of the sheriff's office fuel budget has already been spent.
We're halfway through the year.
We're not even halfway through the year, for crying out loud.
What have I been saying?
Average person, you're gonna pay now paying more than double.
130 plus percent increase from what Joe Biden inherited, which was $2.39 a gallon.
Now police can't even respond to calls because they can't afford the gas.
Anyway, job claims went up on top of everything else.
You might remember too, because now Biden is now, he's been begging OPEC.
OPEC finally agreed when when a barrel of oil hit $120 a barrel, they said, you know what?
What the hell?
Why shouldn't we produce more oil?
This we're making a fortune off of this.
Why wouldn't they take full advantage of a government in America that is being incredibly idiotic and stupid?
So they said, all right, we'll produce more oil.
But they rejected every entree, every plea from Joe Biden up to that point.
And I can tell you the only reason they're doing it, there's no altruism here.
This is purely about money in their pocket.
Joe Biden is making OPEC nations rich again.
Uh, you might recall Joe Biden told the Saudis, oh, he's all mad about Koshogi.
He's not mad anymore, apparently.
You know, he's he declared, he said as a candidate, he was gonna do all of this.
I played it earlier in the week.
I won't play it now.
And then he was forced to beg the Saudis to produce more oil.
They said no.
They didn't want a meeting with him.
Countries like Mexico are rejecting meetings with the president of the United States of America.
How embarrassing is this?
Anyway, now with U.S. gas prices exploding, Joe Biden is in full blown grovel mode.
Remember, he sent emissaries to Venezuela.
Really?
We're gonna negotiate with a uh a dictator murdering thug.
We're gonna we're gonna make a deal with Iran on oil.
Last year, nobody knew.
He imported a million barrels of oil from Iran.
Nobody knew about it.
I didn't know we were importing all of this oil from Russia and making Putin rich again up until this war with Ukraine.
Fake news CNN even recognizes U.S. officials have conveyed to Saudi Arabia that the U.S. is prepared to move forward with a reset of the relationship and effectively move on from their 2018 murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in order to repair ties with the Middle East Allied.
They're only doing it because they want their oil.
Now I know a lot of people, ESPN has been beating the crap out of these golfers like Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson over the fact that they have joined the Saudi golf league that has come up, LIV, I guess is what they call it.
We'll talk about it later.
But they're offering these guys hundreds of millions of dollars.
It's reported that they offer Tiger Woods a billion dollars.
And people are saying it's blood money and they sold out.
What if I always I'm kind of torn on this?
I would never do business with Saudi Arabia.
I don't like them.
I don't trust them.
They're duplicitous.
They've always played both sides.
It is interesting in the Trump years that a new alliance formed between the U.S., Israel, the Saudis, the Jordanians, the Egyptians, the Emirates, all in response to Iranian hegemony and the mullah's quest for nuclear weapons, because that's a risk to everybody.
So they were sharing intelligence, things were getting better.
Then the Koshogi thing happens.
But I've never liked the way the Saudis have treated women.
And I understand women now can finally drive.
I don't know if that's every woman.
Women still have to dress a certain way.
Women still have to go out in public with a male relative.
They're still very repressive.
The penalties are, you know, in some cases, even murder if you're gay or lesbian.
It's unbelievable.
I want nothing to do with those countries that practice this radical sharia.
Nothing.
So that would be all of them.
And we have all the natural gas that we could ever want.
We are the Middle East of natural gas.
200 plus years of a supply.
We have all the oil that we'd ever need or want for over a hundred years that we know about.
And these countries have to be looking at this government under Joe Biden and saying the American people are insane to be paying us premium prices when they have all the resources they need in their own country.
Why would we make enemy countries rich again?
Why are we going to make the Iranians, the Venezuelans, uh why are we going to make the Russians?
Why are we going to make OPEC nations rich again?
How stupid can we be?
And somebody please explain to me what the difference is if you drill for a barrel of oil in Texas or Oklahoma or North Dakota, its impact on the environment.
If anything, we will do it cleaner than any other country.
And what's the difference if you buy that barrel of oil from Russia, Iran, from one of the OPEC nations, the Saudis or Venezuela?
It's good for national security, it's good for job creation, career jobs, for people, high paying career jobs with great benefits.
You know, the same with natural gas.
We could be producing so much natural gas, we will be the country getting rich again.
We'll be the country that pays down our debt.
We'll be the country that's providing high-paying career jobs.
You know who's getting killed right now because of this adherence to this climate alarmist religious cult, New Green Deal socialism?
The very people Democrats claim to have compassion for the poor, the middle class, people on fixed incomes.
It's unbelievable.
I mean, we have another record today, and and then of course, then all the Democrats want to talk about is January 6th.
Well, but they're not getting to the root cause of what happened.
We now, either you believe the Secretary of Defense who went before the committee under oath, and his chief of staff, Cash Patel, and testified that they were there in the room with Donald Trump when Donald Trump said authorized up to 20,000 troops be called up, or they or that they committed perjury.
What is it?
And I don't see that committee going after them for perjury because I don't think they perjured themselves.
As a matter of fact, this memorandum that confirms that all happened.
It's unbelievable.
Things are so corrupt.
By the way, now we're going to have a supply shortage of on feminine products and baby formula.
That shortage still remains.
Chili pepper shortage now we have.
We have an old coal plant that was near retirement in Missouri, and they were going to shut it down this year, but because of the region's grid operator, they need the plant's electricity to reduce the risk of blackouts.
We're getting all these predictions of blackouts all summer long.
Oh, and we're also going to have a lifeguard shortage.
Great.
Nine out of ten Americans, by the way, say inflation has now forced them to bargain hunt for groceries, and 77% are cutting back on restaurants and entertainment.
You know what?
They're destroying our quality of life.
They and all of this is preventable and fixable.
Conservatism works.
And the answer is elect conservatives.
Republicans need to stick to these conservative principles.
They're simple, they're basic, they're fundamental, and they're easy.
We believe in liberty and freedom and our constitution and capitalism.
We want limited government, less bureaucracy.
We want lower taxes.
We want secure borders.
Yes, we want energy independence.
It's good for national security, it's good for job creation, it's good for wealth creation.
We also want law and order, safety and security.
Uh so people can pursue happiness.
We want choice in schools.
We want constitutionalists on the bench, not people legislating from the bench.
Not complicated.
We want the meanest, baddest, toughest kick-ass military on the face of the earth.
That's called peace through strength.
And of course, we want free and fair trade.
Joe's thinking about giving a break to China on Trump tariffs.
That's another dumb idea.
I mean, conservatism.
We believe in the First Amendment.
Believe in the second amendment.
We believe in the Constitution.
It's not complicated.
Pretty simple stuff, pretty basic.
And I want everyone that's running for office, they better articulate it, or I'm not going to support them.
And then when they get there, they better not change and get weak in the need and flip on us.
Um, anyway, so let's see.
So one interesting thing that happened with this I don't even want to talk about this thing anymore.
I'm so over.
What they did last night, the biggest takeaway I had is they all know it's pre-planned.
Why didn't they do anything?
Why is why is this committee, if they know it's pre-planned, and they now we know that the president authorized these troops.
Now, it's interesting the parsing of words of Lives Cheney.
Well, the president didn't call up the guard on January 6th.
That would be a true statement.
The problem is he called them up, he authorized it, and it's and we know this memorandum on it on January 4th, two days earlier.
We know the police chief was asking for it as early as the third, the Capitol Police Chief.
Why don't you bring him in?
Nancy Pelosi's responsible uh for safety of the Capitol, bring her in.
Chuck Schumer's responsible, bring him in.
Chuck Schumer was specifically warned on the 5th of January of a very direct threat that our intelligence community had picked up.
And it was sent in the form of a letter.
Why isn't he being called before the committee?
Why is it Muriel Bowser who rejected the guard that was being offered and authorized on January 5th?
Why isn't she being brought in?
Why aren't the sergeant of arms in the House and Senate being brought in?
Where are their texts?
Where are their emails?
They love showing Sean Hannity text messages.
They don't love showing anybody else's, I guess.
It's unbelievable.
And by the way, these same people that are out there, nobody condemning this doxing of Supreme Court justices.
You got to be kidding me.
Harassing, intimidating.
We have laws against this as we have covered on this program.
There's a story on Fox News.com today.
Amy Coney Barrett's children being targeted by that group Ruth sent us.
That's the one that took responsibility for the firebombing of a pro-life center that I told you about uh earlier in the week.
Anyway, as if the attempted assassination of Brett Kavanaugh wasn't enough.
Now you've got these crazy people targeting the children of a Supreme Court justice.
Anyway, pro-choice, the group Ruth sent us, hinted at targeting protests at Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett's house after the attempted attack on Justice Kavanaugh.
Nancy Pelosi still will not bring up the bill that ensures the proper security of our justices.
And I don't care if you lean left or right.
We've got to protect our Supreme Court justices.
Anyway, Ruth sent us posted a call for demonstrators to go to Barrett's home and church in response to speculation that the court will overturn Roe vivo eight.
Quote, if you're in the DC metro area, join us.
Our protest at Barrett's home move the needle to this coverage.
Ruth sent us specifically noted the Barrett family's daily schedule, and they gave out the name of the school that her kids go to.
And they wrote, false church is whatever it is, is a people of praise stronghold.
She sends her seven kids to the blankety blank school that she sat on the board of directors for.
She attends church daily.
Hint hint.
Where's the Democrats?
Because Jen Saki said they're okay with that.
Chuck Schumer said he's okay with that.
Alexander Yarcasio Cortez tweeted in December of 2020.
The whole point of protesting is to make people uncomfortable.
Activists take the discomfort with the status quo and advocate for concrete policy changes, blah, blah, blah.
Chuck Schumer, you won't know what hit you, Kavanaugh or Gorsuch.
Sounds like a threat to me.
So we're gonna now we're gonna target kids.
We're gonna allow this.
And these are the same people lecturing us day in and day out about quote insurrection.
Save your lectures.
I don't want to hear them.
Anyway, 800-941 Sean, our number if you want to be a part of the program.

I'm Ben Ferguson.
And I'm Ted Cruz.
Three times a week we do our podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz.
Nationwide, we have millions of listeners.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we break down the news and bring you behind the scenes inside the White House, inside the Senate, inside the United States Supreme Court.
And we cover the stories that you're not getting anywhere else.
We arm you with the facts to be able to know and advocate for the truth with your friends and family.
So down a verdict with Ted Cruz now, wherever you get your podcasts.
