And we cover the stories that you're not getting anywhere else.

So Delaware, verdict with Ted Cruz now, wherever you get your podcasts.
I day two 76 stay two 89 since Joey, your president swore that he would not abandon Americans behind enemy lines.
And in fact, he did. | |
It is, well, we have a lot of primary days coming, but it's it's primary day.
Kentucky, North Carolina.
We're watching Bud versus uh McCrory there.
I think Bud wins that race.
I hope he does. | |
Uh I hope Senator Ram Paul wins in in Kentucky.
I don't think he has much of a challenge.
I think he's got a few challengers, but not a real challenge.
Uh obviously we're watching Pennsylvania very, very closely.
Probably the oddest primary I've ever seen in my life.
You know, what when this is all said and done, there does need to be a we we do the Republicans, not me.
I'm a registered conservative, but they need to start revisiting what they do to each other in primaries.
Because you when it gets that ugly, and you we're talking about tens and tens and tens and tens of millions of dollars.
I know well over 40 million thrown at Dr. Oz, for example, and a lot of the ads that I saw uh made Dr. Oz look unrecognizable to me.
Like, for example, Linda Rose uh and Quinn and Rose both saw an ad that made Oz look like he was not pro-life.
And yeah, in the all right, so what what this is is a slice and a dice and an edit and a cut, and they they they take one word.
He was talking medically about the electrical impulses of a heart.
In the same discussion, he says unequivocally, I am and have always been pro-life.
My family is pro-life. | |
Life begins at conception.
It was all in there. | |
And then, you know, opponents do what they're gonna do.
Um, in the end, I think what happens is it ends up hurting whoever the eventual winner is, but uh, I'm not sure in this particular case.
Uh, this is a very winnable seat, and I hope Republicans in Pennsylvania understand the importance of this race, and I mean it is important uh for a lot of different reasons.
And if Republicans don't get it right, uh we I've never seen a race where somebody out of nowhere surge with like nine days, eight days to go, or whatever it is in the case of Kathy Barnett, and then nobody had vetted her.
Nobody. | |
And I've got piles and piles of papers.
Now she was on a radio show.
I'll do this later in the program, I guess this morning on our affiliate, uh WPHT.
Was she on the morning show?
Yeah, she was on the morning morning show.
Yeah. | |
Okay. | |
Uh, so she's on the morning show, and she's out there and she's saying things about me.
We tried to contact her.
My team reached out to her.
Well, all these tweets came to light, and we found them.
We I was like, oh my gosh.
She trashing me, trashing Trump again and again and again, uh, wanting to build the the proposal to build the statute to honor Barack Obama cracked me up.
I mean, I'm not gonna lie about it.
And but anyway, so all of that starts coming out, and we're not just talking about incendiary, we're talking about the most incendiary comments about Muslims and gays and lesbians, etc.
etc. | |
I'm on a plane with my children.
There's a lesbian on the plane.
Pray for us. | |
I'm like, okay, a little crazy.
You know, I actually Talked about abolishing a religion, not knowing what that we have freedom of religion in this country.
And again, I have nothing, it would have been nice had she answered the question.
Then she goes on other interviews because I've heard the tapes myself and is asked specifically, did you write these tweets?
Why are they on your timeline?
I don't, it doesn't sound like me.
I don't recall. | |
It was a couple of years ago.
I'm like, that's not an answer.
Were you hacked? | |
I don't recall. | |
I mean, and we never got to the specifics of it.
Um, my challenge is dealing with the situation in terms of this is a must-win seat for Republicans.
This is this is not a seat that can be lost in any way, shape, or form.
And anyway, so we got this primary race.
You also have a gubernatorial race going on in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Uh, I've made, you know, it's just so reminiscent to me the attacks that I got when I supported Donald Trump early after I vetted him extensively, and I vetted Dr. Oz extensively.
And um I I just find it interesting.
Uh, do I care what people say?
I don't really care one bit.
It doesn't matter. | |
I my job is to be informative and upfront with you, my audience, and to tell you what I really truly honestly believe and what I know.
And after vetting Oz, I found he's pro-life, he's pro-second amendment, he's pro-energy, he's America first, he save America, he's make America great again in every aspect, and then and he's gonna fight.
So, anyway, so and then last night, Kathy Barnett, yeah, apparently marching next to, she says, I have no idea who they were.
Uh, the Proud Boys, which I don't even know who the Proud Boys are.
Do you know who the Proud Boys are?
I know we keep hearing their name.
I guess they're have radical views, et cetera, et cetera.
Anyway, but not a good group to be walking around with, let's put it that way.
So look bad, but she claims that she had no idea who they were.
Uh, I'll take her on at her word on that.
But when you look at, you know, Twitter in particular and some of these other comments, you know, it's really it's the type of rhetoric that will destroy any opportunity to win a general election.
She even once, you know, said, She's about to board a plane to California.
There was a homosexual female on the flight.
Pray for us. | |
Why would you whatever?
I mean, it's just so insane.
You know, she went out and insinuated, called um that Obama was a gay Muslim.
How is that going to help her in a general election?
How does that appeal to moderate swing voters in the in the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania?
Um, you know, when you call for a religion to be banned, what part of freedom of religion do you not understand?
What part of the Constitution do you not understand if you want to be a U.S. senator?
When asked about these incendiary remarks and other issues, you know, she doesn't ever seem to have an answer.
And she doesn't get pressed, but there's not been a lot of time since all of this has come out, which is a big part of the problem.
Um, you know, she says things like MAGA doesn't belong to Donald Trump.
Uh yeah, it kind of does.
That was his movement. | |
Uh, you know, call your neighbors racist if they don't support me.
Actually, we have tape of that.
Uh, why would you support building a statute to the Obama family?
Um, and and and just it I just goes on and on.
And she never seems to have an answer.
And she then she lashes out and blames anybody that dares to ask the question and then talks in circles.
Um, an autobiography had a typos saying I lived in Virginia, I never lived in Virginia.
Somebody else told me that she had said in one article or one interview or one book or something that she didn't even vote for Trump.
She's not going to support any other GOP candidate if she loses this primary.
And the media is taking everything out of context.
There's no taking these comments out of context.
They are what they are. | |
They're very straightforward.
There's no ambiguity, there's no need for an interpreter.
There's there's it's as blunt as they can be.
She had a hard time explaining most of these comments.
She couldn't even explain why she wanted to erect a massive statute to former President Obama.
Um I don't know. | |
Do you know any conservative that would ever want or Republican that ever would want a statue of Obama?
Well, he was a terrible president.
Um 2015, she didn't support Trump.
She attacked me for supporting then candidate Trump.
Uh, tweeted that out, sure she doesn't recall.
And meanwhile, her ties to the Club for Growth.
I mean, they they have now poured millions and millions of dollars into Pennsylvania at the last minute because their goal is to stop Donald Trump from having successful endorsements.
That's the only reason the Club for Growth is in there.
This is a never Trumper, anti-Trump, shady swamp sewer group funding her campaign and smearing her opponents.
My question is to the people that fund the Club for Growth.
Do they support what the Club for Growth leader, this guy Mackintosh is doing?
Steve Moore, by the way, has nothing to do with this group anymore.
I talked to him about it.
And are they standing by not only the support of this candidate and the millions of their dollars that are supporting this candidate, but all the incendiary comments of this candidate because they're paying for it.
It's not like Macintosh is using his own money.
The group is supporting, according to the New York Times, Barnett as an act of revenge against Trump.
They've given millions of millions of dollars here.
So how do you interpret that except they just want to stick it to Donald Trump?
Anyway, now, according to Barnett, she loses the primary, she won't support the GOP candidate.
And here's where practicality comes in.
It's election day. | |
People, this is not in my hands.
You know, if if I was ever so all so powerful, like the Wizard of Oz, trust me, Barack Obama would have lost in 2008.
He would have lost in 2012.
Uh because I did everything in my power to warn people that he wouldn't be a good president.
I turned out to be more right than I thought I was.
I warned people about Joe Biden.
Uh I turned out to be more right than I thought I would be.
And this things are worse than that we even imagined that they could be.
But this is a critically important race.
It may very well, probably likely, will decide the balance of power in the United States Senate.
This election is about stopping the most radical president in modern history, maybe even American history.
His policies are so damaging and so dangerous as foreign policy failures, his economic failures, his energy policies, his border policies, you name it, you can see it all unfolding before our very eyes.
It is a disaster. | |
William F. Buckley famously said, be for the most right, meaning most conservative, viable candidate that could win.
Now, I really, even in spite of all this, I don't dislike Kathy Barnett.
My advice to her would be to look over her record, have a good honest look, and assess whether or not she really said it.
And if she did, take ownership of it, apologize, and then work on showing people that that's not the person you are today.
But she's not going to take my advice.
She has an incredible life story, but I don't think there's any chance at all that she can win a general election.
I just don't see it. | |
Is it possible if if the tailwinds are that strong, if this is that big a change election, a big wave election, anything's possible.
So I don't want to say it's completely impossible.
The odds are extraordinarily low.
And here's why. | |
The Democrat, I assume it's going to be Fetterman, and I hope he gets better, apparently out of stroke.
Dr. Oz, I know, reached out to him for medical purposes to try and offer some help if he needed it, which was nice of him.
And but if it's going to be Fetterman, this is a guy that can easily be beaten.
You know, this is a guy that's against fracking.
This is a guy that I think is number one issue, correct me, Linda if I'm wrong, isn't it to legalize weed in Pennsylvania?
That's it. | |
He cares a lot about getting legalized weed and stop fracking.
Great, great, great candidate to go up against for any Republican that brings a message of prosperity to the people of Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
This state can absolutely be won by somebody like Dr. Oz, which is why I'm supporting him and because of his positions.
And but now it's in the hands of the people of Pennsylvania, just like it's in the hands of the people in North Carolina, the people in Kentucky, the people in Oregon.
And you will get at the end, let me be very clear here.
You will get the government you deserve.
You will get the candidate that's either electable or not electable.
And then we will suffer the consequences.
I wrote Live Free or Die, America and the World on the Brink prior to the 2020 election, because I felt the moment called for it.
And I swore I was never going to write another book.
Now I really swear. | |
And now I haven't written one in ten years.
I was I predicted all of this in that book.
We have copies autographed if you want them on Hannity.com.
I didn't know how right I was going to be and how quickly the damage would be done.
So elections matter. | |
And today's election day.
And Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Oregon, you guys will decide, and you will live and just get the government you deserve.
I know this audience understands it, but there are plenty of people that don't understand it.
Hey there. | |
I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started normally a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional SAS, you're our kind of people.
Catch new episodes of Normally every Tuesday and Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen.

So down a verdict with Ted Cruz now, wherever you get your podcasts.
Holding them accountable.
America deserves to know the truth about Congress.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour, primary day in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Oregon, and Kentucky.
We'll have full coverage tonight at nine on Hannity on the Fox News Channel.
Interesting races. | |
Obviously, we've been covering extensively on this program, especially Pennsylvania.
So Biden goes to Buffalo today.
By the way, not a word from any Democrat that I've seen about the 33 people shot in Chicago over the weekend.
Since 2009, I've scrolled these people's names.
How come you never hear?
Why don't Democrats ever mention all of these people shot every weekend in all of these Democratic run cities and towns around the country where there's uh violence is so out of control?
If you don't have law and order, if you don't have safety and security, tell me how you pursue happiness.
They don't lift a finger, they don't say a word.
574 riots, summer in 2020, they're mostly peaceful.
Dozens of dead Americans, thousands of injured cops pelted with bricks, rocks, bottles, Molotov cocktails, and billions in property damage.
There's no committee investigating that.
Why is that? | |
Why if the committee wants to prevent what happened on January?
Why don't they bring in Nancy Pelosi and Muriel Bowser?
Why did you reject the up to 20,000 troops authorized by President Trump days earlier that the Capitol Police Chief begged for before, during, and after?
Why didn't you give them to me?
It's unbelievable. | |
You know, you didn't hear.
Did anyone hear about the 10 people, you know, we hear about 13 people shot in Buffalo?
It's a tragedy. | |
Violence in this country, this this in large part, a lot of this is because you do have deranged people.
And then part of it is because of defund dismantle and no bail laws.
Anyone hear about the 34 people shot during one week in Los Angeles?
Biden never talk about the daily violence gripping, especially blue states, blue cities run by Democrats for decades?
No. | |
So he plays a he pays a visit to Baltimore.
Why didn't he visit Wisconsin last fall?
Remember Darrell Books, uh Brooks murdered six, injured 62 in an attack on a Christmas parade.
He didn't visit New York in April.
He had a black nationalist named Frank James opening fire in the New York City subways, shooting 10.
Democrats did not play the blame game after either of these attacks.
Remember 2017, a Bernie fan uh Sanders super fan and Rachel Maddow fan attempted to massacre Republican lawmakers in an open field with a rifle at a congressional baseball practice.
Steve Scalise almost died that day.
You know, that was obviously politically motivated in an act of violence that had its direct correlation to the guy's political views.
And, you know, a guy that openly declared his love for Rachel Mannow, his love for Bernie Sanders.
Democrats didn't smear Maddow.
They didn't smear Sanders.
They didn't blame them, nor should they have.
I said at the time, I went on the air.
I don't hold them accountable.
Why would I hold them accountable?
They don't support this kind of insanity.
No one should be held accountable for evil actions of individuals except for that depraved individual.
You know, on this program.
I've been saying this for years.
Said the same thing about when the unibomber, you know, when they found that he had Al Gore's Earth in the balance book.
I didn't blame Al Gore for the unibomber, an environmentally conscious terrorist, as some described him.
I didn't blame Al Gore for the psychotic actions of Ted Kaczynski.
We condemn all violence.
We deplore acts of hatred, bigotry.
You know, you don't exploit the loss, the horrific loss of life or political gain.
Democrats, frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves.
They're not, they have no shame.
They'll do anything for power.
And Joey's up there in Baltimore, Buffalo, rather, today, exploiting this tragic supermarket shooting.
You know, he's he's out there with his divisive, disgraceful lie, white supremacy, the biggest threat that black America faces.
I've never heard Joe condemn what do we want dead cops?
When do we want them now?
Pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon.
You look at FBI crime statistics that have been widely reported, the overwhelming majority.
You know, for example, of African Americans murdered in America today, it's a lot of black on black crime we call it.
We need we need to protect our fellow citizens.
We're not protecting them.
All that great God-given human potential.
It's disgraceful that we don't lift a finger to change this.
How many more years of weekend violence are we going to be reporting on in Chicago?
When do we say enough is enough?
We know how to stop crime.
Rudy Giuliani's model in New York worked perfectly well.
You know, so Joe Biden goes out there today, he knows that if he really cared about violent extremism, you know, why didn't he go to, you know, Wisconsin after the Christmas parade massacre?
You know, it's just sad.
The ex-con charged over six deaths of people at the Wisconsin Christmas Parade, shared social media posts calling for violence against white people, suggesting Hitler was right for killing Jews.
Daryl Brooks Jr. has a decade-long rap sheet, shared a series of disturbing memes.
That's another thing. | |
You know, almost every single incident we find that these people telegraph what they are going to do, and we don't lift a finger to stop them.
Why not? | |
Because we need to. | |
Because every single life is precious, and all the God-given human potential.
Cities and towns across the country have become playgrounds for violent criminals.
Laurie Lightweight, the mayor of Chicago, the answer is, well, kids can't walk through the park after this hour.
That's that's not a solution.
It's not even a band-aid for crying out loud.
These policies are insane.
No bail. | |
These policies of defund, dismantle, it's not working.
It's failing spectacularly.
By the way, we found out that Hunter Biden, Washington Times, funneled 1.4 million to Joe's brother.
Anyone in the IRS gonna start looking now?
Just give them the Hannity treatment.
Oh, here's Annity's, here's Hannity's taxes.
Let's pull the let's pull it out.
That's why I don't have one group of accountants.
I have two. | |
I have my accountants' accountants, and then I send it to my lawyer who sends it to his tax accountants.
I mean lawyers that are accountants, just to make doubly and triple as sure.
And then my answer always is pay.
Pay, pay, pay. | |
Because, you know, it's a two-tier justice system.
Pay your taxes. | |
75% of Americans think this country is on the wrong track.
I'm I'm trying to figure out who the 25% is.
We have Kamala Harris embarrassing us so far.
I meant to play this yesterday.
More classic hits from the great Wordsmith that she is.
You got it? | |
Or yes or no? | |
Let's play it. | |
When it comes to the climate crisis, which is why we will work together and continue to work together to address these issues, to tackle these challenges, and to work together as we continue to work operating from the new norms, rules, and agreements that we will convene to work together on to galvanize global action.
With that, I thank you all.
This is a matter of urgent priority for all of us.
And I know we will work on this together.
Did you get that? | |
We're going to work on it together.
In case you missed it, you might have missed that part.
Goldman Sachs chairman, uh Lloyd Blankfein, I think is his name, telling CBS's face the nation.
The risk of the U.S. falling into a recession is very, very high.
Warn the federal government and Federal Reserve has pumped too much money into the economy.
It is a very, very, his words, I'm not adding any veries here, a very, very high risk factor.
He said when asked if he thinks the U.S. is headed towards a recession.
It's it's definitely a risk.
If I were running a big company, I would be very prepared for it.
If I were a consumer, I'd be very prepared for it.
With inflation running hot, he noted that it's the job of the Federal Reserve to slow down demand.
Uh there's an imbalance, too much demand, and what you have to do is slow down that demand.
You have to slow down the economy.
And anyway, he said, by the way, if Goldman Sachs chief economist recently cut the firm's GDP growth projections for 2022 and 2023 to 2.4% and 1.6% respectively, meaning 2023 is even going to be worse than this year.
God help us. | |
You know, um, the Democratic Party's attack on energy, you know, is now collapsed an utter failure last night.
Legislation by Democrats that would have expanded the FTC's powers to investigate whether big oil is gouging consumers at the pump at a snag in the House Monday due to a lack of votes in the full chamber.
Democratic leaders forced to pull the proposal from consideration during a procedural vote in the House Rules Committee that would have, you know, teed this bill up for a final vote later this week.
Moderate, electoral electorally vulnerable Democrats have for weeks questioned how the measure, which would have broadened the FTC's authority to probe whether energy corporations are taking advantage of drivers amid the energy crunch that's been exacerbated by the war in Ukraine would actually lower gas prices.
No, just go back to Donald Trump's energy policies and economic policies.
We'll be fined. | |
Absolutely fine. | |
GOP congressman visits the border.
Yep, look at what we found.
Baby formulas stacked to the rafters.
Oh, I can see it right here in the picture.
It's actual real baby formula.
Yeah, fake news CNN owes me an apology.
They slandered and libeled me again.
Just an average day in my life.
Um Joe Biden threw through in the towel in his effort to control inflation.
Anyway, Reuters reporting the Biden administration increasingly believes they have little control over short-term inflation and is instead is looking for ways to offset the political risk from price hikes in the months leading up to November's election.
In response, by the way, the White House advisors insist the president's ability to cut prices in the short term in global markets is limited.
And in response, the White House has developed a three-prong strategy.
One, act as aggressively as they can on prices.
It thinks that it can impact on the margins, stressed the role of Russian President Vladimir Putin and blame the pandemic.
And three, attack Republicans as ultra mega.
By the way, they spent six months focus grouping ultra mega, and it's now backfired against them.
Oh, gas prices hit another high today.
Oh, that's great. | |
452 a gallon. | |
We're up to 450. | |
Well, we've really making progress, Joe.
We have a shortage now of not only baby formula, but diesel fuel.
That's not good for anybody.
If you want to know why gas prices are now rising yet again, you know, we we have limited refinery capacity in this country, and now they have to produce more diesel because that's gonna really screw up the supply chain issue in the country.
So they've got to produce more diesel instead of gasoline and more jet fuel if we're gonna keep the airline industry up and running.
That means we're all going to pay more at the pump.
Washington Post columnist even said the country should be grateful that Biden is doing effectively nothing to fight inflation.
I guess insinuating if he does anything, he's going to screw it up.
Like he does everything else.
Um, how many times have I said, Linda, that I'm a bricks and mortar guy?
I like something I can feel, touch, something tangible, and I hate the stock market.
How many times have you heard me say that?
I would say a fair amount of times over the past uh 18 years.
Yeah, look at this. | |
Um, Alabama Realtors Real Estate voted the best investment eight years in a row.
Don't take financial advice from me.
What the hell do I know? | |
Uh oh, Huntsville, Alabama, where I used to live the number one city to live in the country.
By the way, more Americans care about the Johnny Depp trial than the leaked abortion decision.
Oh, Elon Musk announced that for the first time he's going to vote Republican in 2022 for the first time ever.
That's pretty interesting.
Uh, he slammed Biden. | |
He said the real president is whoever controls the teleprompter.
That was such a good line.
Uh, this guy crags me up.
He sets a condition for the Twitter purchase.
He says, yeah, 20% fake spam accounts, meaning bots on Twitter, four times what Twitter claims could be uh much higher.
My offer was based on Twitter's SEC filings being accurate.
Yesterday, Twitter CEO publicly refused to show proof of less than five percent of the accounts being bots, uh, meaning basically that either you prove to me that these are not bots, or I'm likely not buying Twitter.
