Time Text
This is an iHeart podcast.
You want smart political talk without the meltdowns?
We got you.
I'm Carol Markowitz and I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
We've been around the block in media and we're doing things differently.
Normally is about real conversations.
Thoughtful, try to be funny, grounded, and no panic.
We'll keep you informed and entertained without ruining your day.
Join us every Tuesday and Thursday, normally, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Day number 144.
All right, Leonard Skinner, it's simple, man.
That can only mean one thing.
That means all things Bill O'Reilly.
Before we get to Mr. O'Reilly and all things O'Reilly at BillO'Reilly.com for our first interview in the new year, let me play what the government was telling you, if you recall, when they first started to push their vaccinations, their one-size-fits-all medicine.
No exemptions, no medical exemptions, no religious exemptions.
One size fits all.
That led to, of course, a mandate that they said they would never do.
But this is what they were telling you at the time.
We're making sure healthcare workers are vaccinated because if you seek care at a healthcare facility, you should have the certainty that the people providing that care are protected from COVID and cannot spread it to you.
The various shots that people are getting now cover that.
You're okay.
You're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.
Vaccines prevent getting infected, prevent getting sick, prevent your hospitalization.
Now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the virus stops with every vaccinated person.
A vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus.
The virus does not infect them.
The virus cannot then use that person to go anywhere else.
All right, there it is.
That's what they said.
That's what they told you.
That was the science.
That was the science.
And then, of course, then it was no, you cannot even wear a mask now.
You're free.
You don't have to worry about getting COVID.
Well, Omicron, we have fully vaccinated people getting COVID.
We have fully vaccinated people with boosters.
They're getting COVID.
We have fully vaccinated people and people with natural immunity getting COVID.
So nothing is working, which is why I have steadfastly on this program and on my TV program, I have steadfastly refused to tell people what to do.
Number one, I believe in freedom.
I believe in medical privacy.
I believe in patient doctor confidentiality.
And number two, I never went to med school.
I didn't do an internship, a residency.
This is my advice, research, look at your unique medical condition and history, and ask your own doctors what's best for you.
And I don't make judgments.
Now that everything is a breakthrough case, now we need to look at something else besides just the vaccinations because they're not preventing people from getting COVID.
That's where therapeutics come in.
Now we had people all through Christmas, two years plus into this pandemic, and we have no tests available all around the country.
That is unconscionable.
Then of course, we run out of monoclonal antibodies.
We've had them for 18 months without a shortage.
And once the federal government got involved and started hoarding the supply, all of a sudden there's no monoclonal antibodies.
This is a national disgrace.
We have Pfizer, every doctor I've talked to, ask your doctor, is saying these antivirals by Pfizer and I think the other companies, Merck, are amazing and showing amazing results for therapeutics for people, whether you're vaccinated or not, getting COVID.
Anyway, Bill O'Reilly joins us on all of this.
Obviously, Mr. O'Reilly, sir, I'm worked up because I don't like being lied to repeatedly.
Well, I'm not going out of the house.
Why are you not going out of the house?
Yeah, I bought all that stuff, you know, the 18-year food supply, and I got machine guns on the roof.
Nobody's coming in.
O'Reilly, I already have you covered for that.
I've been way ahead of you in the survivalist realm for a long time.
I know.
Look, I'm a fat guy, as you know, and a simple man.
I combine the two.
So you may remember that when I was out on the road with Donald Trump, we had a discussion about how the vaccines were actually made.
And it was a fascinating discussion.
And then I asked him whether he was vaccinated and he got the booster, and he said yes.
And out of about 12,000 people in the Dallas arena, maybe 40 booed.
And that made a lot of headlines.
You remember that?
I believe, based upon what I can see, that the vaccines do mitigate the original COVID and the Delta COVID.
So that chart.
Well, hang on.
With Delta, though, Bill, and I'm not arguing with that.
With Delta, Delta is when we first got the breakthrough cases.
Okay, that's true.
But this time last year, the country was averaging about 200,000 cases a day in January 2021.
On Monday, there were a million cases.
And last January was Delta.
So you can see that this Omicron stuff goes around the vaccine or ignores the vaccine or laughs at the vaccine.
I don't know what it does.
But the vaccine isn't nearly as effective against it that it was against the first two.
I think that is accurate.
Now, Biden goes on TV yesterday, and everyone ignores him because no one listens to him anymore, even his own people.
But yesterday, if you were president, I was president, I think I would have tried, and I hope you would have, a fact-based presentation.
So the first question that you have to address with the American people is what we just stated.
Does the vaccine work against Omicron?
Yes or no, right?
The answer is no.
Didn't come up.
The evidence says it really doesn't.
It might mitigate.
It's not.
But Bill, I want to just add one word.
It's really the science doesn't say it.
That was their mantra.
Okay, but we don't know because there are no studies because this is too fast.
It just came.
Well, hang on.
I do have a study in front of me, Danish study, nearly 12,000 households.
It was in the Epoch Times today.
All right.
And they have discovered that Omicron spreads faster than Delta among those who are fully vaccinated and even higher between those who receive booster shots, demonstrating strong evidence.
And the headline is, Omicron spreads faster than Delta within vaccinated individuals.
Danish study.
I haven't looked at the internals of that.
No, I know.
Okay, and it's entirely possible, but Joe Biden should address it.
That's my point.
That's number one question.
Number two, do masks stop the transmission of COVID?
Nope.
And the answer to that question is Fauci said way back last year that the answer is no.
You can still get it if you wear a mask, but the masks are effective if you have COVID and you sneeze or cough, the mask blocks some of that.
But again, that's not well-defined.
We don't know what the masking thing is.
But there's one other thing I can add to that, and we're having a discussion here.
When he was on 60 Minutes in March of 2020, he laughed.
Masks don't work.
But they didn't know anything then.
They don't know anything now either.
Two years later, well, that's the point.
Two years later, we should have more sophisticated analysis.
And the third question is: how long before the vaccines wane?
Do you not know?
Apparently, they don't know.
And the fourth question is: are people who get COVID then immune from getting it again?
So those are four questions, and Biden doesn't have a clue, and neither does Fauci, about the answers to those four vital questions.
That concerns me after two years.
Let me ask you this: we ran out of tests over Christmas, as you know, which is we're two years into this.
This is the same guy, Joe Biden, that called it a travesty when we didn't have enough tests in the early days of COVID, and he used that all throughout the 2020 campaign.
He's now telling, he was telling people in 2020, I will shut down this virus.
Of course.
Now he's saying there's no federal solution.
When asked earlier this week about why there aren't tests available, which is unconscionable and unforgivable to me, his answer was, well, check Google, Google it.
Well, if you find it on Google.
The school rating is in the high 30s because, again, when he goes on television, does anybody believe him?
I don't even think he knows what he's saying at this point.
It's just ridiculous.
If you had an honest national press corps, particularly in the White House, they would be peppering Jan Saki with all of these questions.
Why don't you know yet, after two years, how long these vaccines are good for?
Do you have a study?
I mean, surely they have some study.
Why don't you know whether if you get COVID, can you get it again?
The answer is yes.
You know how I know, Bill?
Because I know people in my own life that got it again.
Yeah, they got it.
Now they're two times.
So all of this should be presented to the American public so the American public can make educated decisions about their health.
Now, I'm going to say something that some of your listeners are not going to like, but it's the truth.
I believe that everybody should get vaccinated because that's the only thing.
And I talked to President Trump about this in depth.
That's the only thing that is in play that can mitigate the disease if you get it.
Well, wait a minute.
What about natural immunity?
Because this study, I'm going to dig deeper.
National immunity.
I can't answer those questions therefore.
But Bill, you need to be able to answer that question.
That's a very important question.
But I can't because they don't have the data.
All right, quick break.
More with Simple Man, Bill O'Reilly, All Things O'Reilly, BillOReilly.com.
As we continue with Bill O'Reilly, Simple Man, All Things O'Reilly at BillOReilly.com.
Now, there is a study on natural immunity that is being peer-reviewed now out of Israel, almost 800,000 people, and it had to do with the Delta variant and those with natural immunity were protected 27 times more than people that were vaccinated.
That's early results.
I just understand that if you're going to quote a study from Israel, Israel is the most aggressive country in the world promoting vaccines.
They are promoting vaccines, the most aggressive country in the world.
They're on their fourth round now.
Now, listen, I don't trust the federal government.
I don't trust the Biden administration at all.
And I'm desperately trying to get answers to questions that need to be researched.
Now, you get a 12,000 thing out of Denmark.
All right, I'll consider it, but that's certainly not the defining moment that we need.
No, but it's listen, at least it's some data that's coming in.
For example, I did not know by Christmas Day for sure.
I was told by doctors that I talked to that it was the most contagious variant they have seen.
One guy even said it's about as close to airborne as it can get without being airborne.
But they didn't know, but the early indications were it's less lethal.
Now, what the doctor further went on to say is it had a six to eight week run and then a dramatic decline.
Yeah, that's what's happening in South Africa, and I wanted to end on an optimistic note.
And Great Britain, too.
Yeah, and I, because I do want to leave the house soon.
I want to end on an optimistic note.
And it looks like this thing whips in, it makes you sick, but it doesn't kill you, and then it whips out.
And then everybody who was exposed to it, even if you didn't get it, because you can be exposed to COVID and not get it, then you are more immune to the whole thing in general.
And let's hope that's the case.
Let's hope that what's happening in South Africa, primarily, because that's where it started, and that's not a bastion of vaccination or good health.
That country barely can exist.
Let's hope that it subsides quickly here and then we can regain normal lives because it's a panic, Hannity.
You know, both of us live on Long Island.
It's crazy here.
Look, I don't know about you because I've talked so often and I really felt that the federal government and most commentators have done a disservice to their viewers and listeners.
Now, I refuse to talk about my own personal medical decisions.
And the reason I do is I don't want what I decide to do to be the example for others because everybody has their own unique medical history.
They have their own medical condition.
I know nothing about it.
And I will tell you, I realized when a very high-profile individual had a Delta breakthrough case, and I said, Are you going to get monoclonal antibodies and regeneron?
And he goes, Yeah, what is that again?
And then I realized if he doesn't know, then nobody knows.
And I kept saying the last words I said to my audience before Christmas, Bill, I said, remember these two words, monoclonal antibodies.
Because I care about my audience.
Yeah.
And I said, ask your doctor.
Where is Fauci on that?
Okay.
Where is the CDC on that?
These are all the institutions, and Fauci should be fired because nobody believes him on the right anyway.
So half the country doesn't believe anything he says.
He's a disgrace.
And he should be removed.
You've got to get somebody in there.
It's got some credibility.
But why doesn't the CDC have a press conference about what you just said about all these other things that might mitigate this terrible plague?
Why?
Why don't they do it?
How about this, Bill?
Last word for me.
We warp speed the testing.
We warp speed monoclonal antibodies that we've had for 18 months.
We warp speed the new antivirals if they're as good as all these doctors are saying.
And we get them to the American people.
How about that?
That's the answer, considering.
It's happening to me, but first it would have to be explained by the medical authorities, not you and I on radio and television.
Well, they're not doing it, Bill, so I'm trying to pick up the slack.
That's me crazy.
That's what drives me nuts.
I want to hear Joe Biden whining.
Tell me something.
I want you to go to Master Spa's hot tub.
You've got to go to their website.
They're the largest hot tub dealer.
Find one near you.
And I want you to get a swim spot because you need to chill, man.
You did not relax over vacation.
All right, simple man Bill O'Reilly, allthingso'relybilloilly.com.
800-941 Sean is our number.
Quick break.
Right back there.
I'm Mary Catherine Ham.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.

We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass, you're our kind of people.

All right, 25 till the top of the hour.
We'll hit the phones here in just a second.
So Circle Back, Jen Saki is answering a question about Joe Biden.
He does, but he doesn't have time to think.
Okay, they called the LID at 1.24 in the afternoon.
I think this was yesterday.
And a lid means we are not going to hear from the president or the administration for the rest of the day.
And her answer was, well, he has no time to think.
Well, he had from 1.24 till the time he gets his warm milky at 7 p.m. to think.
So he has plenty of time to think.
Listen.
If he were standing here today, which I know he's always invited, is what you guys will say, but he would say we never give him any free time or any time to think.
And that is probably true.
Yeah, he never has any time to think.
Poor Joe, he spent two weeks on the beach in Delaware while Americans couldn't get a COVID test unless they were willing to stand online for six hours in places like New York in the freezing cold.
There were no home tests available.
If you went to your local right aid, CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Target, you name it.
They were nowhere to be found.
And I know because all my friends were asking, do you have any more tests?
Do you have any tests?
You know where I can go to get tested?
It was unbelievable.
Then, of course, there's no, the federal government gets involved in monoclonal antibodies for the first time.
Then all of a sudden we have a shortage.
There was no shortage of it ever.
We didn't have any shortage.
I was able to get people all around the country because people ask me, what's that thing you talk about?
Monoclonal antibodies.
Yeah.
Yeah.
How do you get that?
All right.
Let me, where do you live?
Atlanta, Emory University Hospital, Long Island, or New York City.
Yeah, you're going to have to go to Long Island, St. Francis Hospital in Port Washington.
They give it to you automatically as a treatment.
Florida, they're all over the state of Florida.
They have monoclonal antibody centers.
I was able to find people, monoclonals in Texas, all across the country.
It was hard in New York, but I found places.
Anyway, Jensaki, that was actually from today.
She made that comment about no time to think.
And Jensaki actually apparently doesn't know history.
You have to pass Build Back Broke in order to know what's in Build Back Broke.
It might remind you of somebody else.
Listen.
They don't know exactly what's in Build Back Better and what it means.
And it's always easier to sell a package to the public once it's passed.
So we are hoping we're going to get to that point.
That is our objective.
It's going to be very, very exciting.
But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.
There you go.
Just it was a disaster the first time.
Why not repeat the disaster?
All right, North Dakota, where it's always cold this time of year.
We have Daniel standing by.
Daniel, welcome to the program.
Glad you called, sir.
Hi, Sean.
Hey, I've got a couple of things to say about the economy.
Yes, sir.
It starts and ends with the fuel.
I'm a truck driver, and I see it every day.
Now, what people don't understand is that everything comes on a truck.
Most of the things come on multiple trucks.
Just for an example, the meat that you and I both like to eat starts at the farm.
It gets on a truck and it goes to a feedlot.
It gets on another truck and goes to the processing plant.
It goes in another truck to the distribution plant or a cold storage.
And then it gets another truck and goes to the market.
It's been on five trucks, and there's fuel all the way down the line.
It all starts and ends with the fuel.
And by the way, we're talking about refrigerated trucks in most cases.
Am I wrong on that?
No, that's correct.
That takes fuel too.
Okay.
So my question to you is about how much more per gallon are you paying for diesel?
50 to 60 percent since January 20th last year.
Okay, so Joe Biden is eviscerating and excoriating the meat industry.
And by the way, I'm eating a paleo diet.
I mean, I'm basically all meat, pretty much protein, all the time.
All right, that's what I eat.
And I love meat.
And I do my own shopping.
I know people find that hard to believe.
I don't know why they find it hard to believe.
And people ask me in the grocery store all the time, what are you doing here?
I'm buying food.
Why?
Because I like to eat, obviously.
But anyway, so I've been noticing now for a long time the price has been way up, but I still buy the meat.
I can afford it, but I'd rather pay less.
I prefer, you know, I like pork.
I like bacon.
I like beef.
I like chicken.
I don't like chicken thighs.
I like, you know, thin-cut chicken cutlets, chicken breast.
I like that.
I like wings.
You know, so it's frustrating.
Now, here's the thing.
You're not going to get paid less for what you do as a truck driver.
You don't expect to make less money, right, per mile?
Not at all.
But at the same point in time, everything in the economy has gone more expensive, and it's costing me at least 20% more to live out here.
I live in the truck.
Now, do you have your own truck or do you work for a company?
I work for a company.
Okay, and you happy with your company?
Fantastically happy.
It's probably the best in the country.
That's awesome.
I'm glad to hear that.
Now, here's the thing, because I know friends of mine are in the trucking industry.
And by the way, the hardest thing in your business right now is to find good drivers.
It's really hard.
Anyway, so you're not going to make less.
Your company's not going to make less.
So the cost increase for fuel is going to be passed on to who?
It's going to be passed on to the customer.
That's correct.
And then the broker's not going to make less.
And so the customer ultimately has to pay more for their product.
And they turn around and sell it to the distributor.
And the distributor sells it to the supermarket.
And all the costs keep going down the line.
By the way.
And every single thing we buy, Daniel, is because of great guys like you that work your ass off.
And it's a hard job being a trucker.
And it's long hours.
And it's just hard.
It's a hard, hard way to make a living.
And guys like you provide every store we go to.
You fill all our shelves and you sustain the entire country and you don't get enough credit for what you do.
So if all the costs associated with your job go up, it's going to be the consumer that takes it on the chin.
And you know what?
You don't deserve you deserve a raise with inflation, in my opinion.
I like your style.
Also, the meatpackers and all these people that produce the food that we eat, their costs are higher for labor because Joe Biden's paying people not to work.
So it's not trying to gouge anybody.
Everybody's trying to make just what they were making before the pandemic.
But everything's gone up.
Everything across the board.
Well, thank you for what you do every day.
Thank you and your fellow truckers for filling our shelves.
And thank you for explaining what a simple, basic, fundamental economics that Joe Biden caused the inflation at a 40-year high because of his economic policies, his idiotic energy policies, which reduce the world supply of energy artificially, which increases the price because demand remains the same.
Daniel, God bless you, my friend.
Hey, one quick thing.
I get to have in-and-out burgers tomorrow.
You get to what?
I get to have in-and-out burgers tomorrow.
Okay, don't take this the wrong way.
It's a new year.
I want to start it off on the right.
I hate you because I want one too.
Have one in my name.
Get a double-double with animal style with the grilled onions.
I get it, believe it or not, because I'm paleo with a lettuce wrap.
But, you know, I still love it.
I'm also getting burgers to go.
And the way you do it is you get the burger with the bun cooked and you ask them to give you all the other parts of the burger separate, including the spread.
And you can take them to go and put them in a Ziploc bag and then microwave the burger and put it together yourself.
It's like having it fresh.
Wow, that's a great idea.
People don't know.
And the cabs of these 18-wheelers, you guys got, you know, TVs, you got comfortable beds, you got microwaves.
I mean, I'm not saying it's the ideal place you want to live, but, you know, I know a lot of people that like working for themselves, being on the road, they like the liberty and freedom of it, and they make a pretty good amount of money, a pretty good living, not enough, but you're also doing something great for society.
All right, Daniel, appreciate it, man.
God bless you.
Drive safe.
Robert is in Maryland.
Robert, how are you?
Hey, Sean.
So happy to be on your show.
Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas.
I'm on Bluetooth.
I can change it for you in a heartbeat.
You know, you sound pretty good, actually.
I don't recommend it for others, but go ahead.
All right, man.
I've got two things that I'd like to mention.
One is with the monoclonal, and the other is getting jerked around by the SBA.
And first and foremost, I live in Maryland.
I had to drive to Delaware because they have rationed monoclonal in Maryland.
And this was before the holiday.
And I went in.
I had the appointment set up to go get it.
And, you know, I'm not 20.
I'm not in my 20-belt size.
Let's just put it that way.
So, you know, I'm a little challenged in certain areas medically, and that's it.
They said, oh, well, the monoclonal only doesn't address the Omicron right now.
Well, they were saying that.
Now, I got mixed reviews on that.
The GSK, the GlaxoKline Smith, apparently is better on Omicron than, say, Regeneron or Eli Lilly.
But then I was told by other doctors, no, it actually is fairly effective, but just not as effective as the GSK.
But, you know, that's a question for you and your doctor.
Did you get the monoclonals?
I did, but here's the other thing.
How do you feel?
Omicron is out, knocked it out in a day.
Yeah, everybody says the same thing, knocks it right out.
Everybody.
You know, I had accelerated symptoms.
They call it a die-off or whatever, and you feel like crap for a few hours, maybe overnight with a migraine.
But the next day, you know, anyhow.
But I think that what I'd like to share with people is don't wait till you get sick to figure out your pathway to this because if you don't know, clinics are shutting down and they're playing like three-card money with where you can get it.
Maryland, you can't get it.
Listen, I give you an A plus for your resourcefulness.
At times, I've had to do the same for people that I, even strangers that get in contact with us, we help everybody.
And if you work and you work hard at it, you're going to find a place that is offering the infusion, or now they do it in a shot.
I'm hoping that these antivirals are as good as some doctors are claiming it is.
I don't know yet.
I don't have an answer to that.
We need to be Operation Warp speeding all of this.
We never have any shortage at all of monoclonals, except Joe Biden goes on vacation and didn't give a rip, and the federal government started buying out all of the supply.
You know, look at governors DeSantis, Noam, Abbott, others.
You know, once Joe Biden in his vaccine mandate speech, for the first time he mentions monoclonals, then all of a sudden there's a shortage.
There was never a shortage.
They're just hoarding the supply because they're clinging to their one-size-fits-all vaccination mindset.
It's like they're robots and they're not realizing with Omicron, it doesn't matter if you're vaccinated, boostered, and even have natural immunity.
People are getting positive tests.
So the next logical scientific solution are therapeutics.
And they work.
And they work like it's.
And they work.
Everybody I know that's used it, it works, man.
All right, Robert.
Glad you're okay, buddy.
And I give you an A-plus for being very resourceful.
All right, back to our busy phones.
Let's go to Don is in Los Angeles on K-E-I-B.
What's going on, Don?
How are you, sir?
I'm fine, Sean.
Thanks for taking my call.
Listen, I'm born and raised in California.
I'm in my 70s.
I have, you know, a couple conditions that I'm at risk.
I'm a former Marine, retired police sergeant.
Temperify, thank you for your service and everything.
Yeah.
Well, don't mention it.
Thank you.
But so I got COVID, and my doctor says, look, you're high-risk.
So here's the number.
You call them.
You need to get the monoclonal antibodies.
And so I pull the number.
It's down in San Diego.
They say you can, well, you can't even talk to a human being to get a recorder.
And they say you have to have a test first and test positive before you can get the monoclonal antibodies injection.
We try to find it and we can't.
I reach out to some of my officers used to work for me.
They go all over the place looking for me.
Listen, anytime I get one of those, you know, and you put on a whole BS, I find a way to bypass it.
I just, and if I have to go to another place, I'll just keep going because it's a waste of your time.
God bless you, Don.
Listen, we're praying for you.
We want you to get through these last couple of days on the other side of this and you healthy, okay, my friend.
Okay, one quick thing, Sean.
Yeah.
For my brothers and sisters and law enforcement out there, keep the fight.
Don't let these corrupt politicians get you down.
