| Within his 11-minute monologue, let's see, Kimmel managed to bash, let's see, President Trump, Vice President Pence, Fox News, call for gun control while he and every Os other while he and every other Oscar attendee were protected by armed police pretty much everywhere. | |
| And according to Variety, the Oscars averaged an 18.9 household rating, 32 share of Nielsen's metered market overnight ratings. | |
| That's down approximately 16%. | |
| As a matter of fact, it crashed to the lowest viewership in the history of the Oscars. | |
| Yikes. | |
| Apparently lecturing Americans that their values are wrong. | |
| Isn't working. | |
| Maybe they'll try something different. |
