Senate Democrats, they're in panic mode after a report by the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies that shows minorities are underrepresented in Democratic staff positions on Capitol Hill.
And Politico points out that African Americans and Latinos, they represent more than a third of self-identified Democrats nationwide, but they hold less than 3% of senior staff positions for Senate Democrats.
Despite liberals constantly claiming Republicans are racist and bigoted.
It turns out that the senator with the most diverse office and this staff is Republican.
Last month, a Senate staffer reluctantly told the New York Daily News, quote, the lone black chief of staff in the entire U.S. Senate works with South Carolina Republican Tim Scott.
Now his office may be the most diverse in the entire Senate.
Sounds like the Democrats have a lot of soul searching to do.
