Alright, okay, let's have a look at Joy Reid continuing to blame people for voting in the wrong direction.
And it's this idea of I want to be with the side that's waving the biggest flag.
I want to fit in.
And there is a huge element, to be honest, of anti-blackness in a lot of this.
Anti-black American-ness specifically.
And Paola and I have talked about this, that there is a part of that, that anti-blackness is a piece of it.
Even though Enrique Tarrio, who's the head of the Proud Boys, is a black Latino.
But he's down with white supremacists.
Down with them.
And there's this idea that I'm black, but I'm not black.
I may look black to you.
I may be black if I'm walking through Bloomingdale's and get followed around.
But in my mind, I'm identifying with whiteness because whiteness means privilege and it means not being a black American.
This has to be unpacked because this shift among Latino men is significant.
And it says something about where we're going in this country, about whether we can create an appeal.
There's also, the last thing I will throw in, is the creation of the idea that everything that Vice President Harris was proposing is communism.
Is communism.
That is a potent argument for a lot of Latinos.
Hmm.
Oh, yeah, right, because they come from penury in communist countries where those systems haven't worked.
That's interesting, though.
It doesn't feel like...
Right, I'm going to try my best to see if I can actually see what I genuinely believe.
The problem is that the Democrat Party got captured by corporatism in the same way that the Labour Party in my country got captured by corporatism, Probably around the late 80s, early 90s.
What I mean is they became deregulatory when it came to financial industries and they forgot that the idea, by the way, of a party that represents working class people, that's the idea.
That's the idea of the Labour Party in the UK. I don't know, you tell me in the comments and chat what the idea is behind the Democrat Party.
I think it's meant to be that idea.
They represent ordinary working people.
That's a good idea.
Whether or not centralising state power leads to a better society is obviously a question that your country in particular has completely rejected, and I can understand why that would be, because if you replace our belief in a higher power or a god with belief in the state,
You're essentially saying the state has the kind of rights that you would attribute to a God, those kind of values and powers, i.e. the ability to say what's sayable and what's unsayable, the ability to decide who can be killed and who's not able to be killed.
And that's the kind of power I don't want the state having.
And it seems like the Democrat Party are unwilling to have the hard conversation that's required.
They made themselves pointless.
They made themselves pointless.
And until they make themselves valuable again, they're going to be in decline.
And so I would say moving into irrelevance.
But the broader rhythms of matters like this appear to be that whatever real power runs things is able to migrate between between parties.
You know, like in the 90s, for example, it was Cheney and Bush that were the party of war, right?
And they were in government, and there were a bunch of wars that were beneficial to the kind of elite powers and corporate powers that we're describing now then.
And then now, Cheney is supporting the Democrat Party, and the Republicans have peculiarly become some sort of blue-collar populist movement.
It's extraordinary the way that it fluctuates, and I think the way to understand it is, if you have a look at my conversation tomorrow with Robert Malone, We talk about how bureaucracies have become tyrannical.
He taught me these two phrases.
One, inverted totalitarianism, where entrenched government bureaucrats are able to supersede the power of elected officials.
That was one interesting thing I learned.
And another one was fifth-generation warfare.
That's the kind of warfare where various bureaucracies and institutions come together to shut down opposition using myriad means.
But they're not going to be able to do that stuff forever.

Now, I know the guy that manages Sam Harris, and I'm friends with that guy's brother.
So I'm always like, you know, whenever you know, and Sam Harris has been on my show a bunch of times, and I've had good conversations with him, even though he's an atheist, and I don't agree with that, even though he believes that sort of rationalism might be able to resolve all of our problems.
Does he believe that?
Because he's right interested in spirituality in the form of a kind of atheistic Buddhism.
He's criticized Joe Rogan.
Now, I see Rubin the other day saying that, you know, once it was Sam Harris who was the up-and-coming neurologist who was making waves by talking about politics when he has no academic pedigree in the subject.
And now it seems that he's reverting to that type of conservatism that is defined by, hey, show Shut up!
You're not allowed to do that!
Criticizing Joe Rogan for his influence.
Let's have a listen to that.
Let's have a look at Musk's response and let's see if we can diagnose from looking at this conversation what the movements are even in the independent media space and how it's sort of likely to evolve once Trump takes office in January.
That's a good few things to discuss, isn't it?
The Joe Rogan podcast is not a substitute for the Wall Street Journal or the Kennedy School at Harvard.
It is simply not progress to have a comedian like Dave Smith, who's apparently done his own research, interviewed about the history of the Middle East or the war in Ukraine, Whoa.

And then now he's talking about, like, so Dave Smith actually might be an autodidact.
He might have done his own research.
And that's one of the things, actually, that really alarmed me during the pandemic, when people started to criticize folk for not being experts and started to undermine the idea of...
Doing your own research.
The presupposition being that you're too stupid to understand information for yourself, right?
That you need information to be digested and pre-tued for you.
That if you're not an academic, you shouldn't even be talking about stuff.
That's called orthodoxy.
That's like what the Pharisees and Sadducees said.
You can't just start directly worshipping God and ignoring all our rules that we use to institute power and utilise control.
Of course you should do your own research.
You will make mistakes, but hey, we know in the post-pandemic era that some pretty serious experts made mistakes that were costly for us and beneficial for them.
Like some of the experts that were working in government that are now working at Pfizer or Moderna.
They made mistakes, didn't they?
Like they were telling everyone you had to take this vaccine or you might die.

I understand how satisfying it is to find a new bully to beat up the other bullies who've been making you miserable.
But the problem is, this new bully is worse.
This new bully has no principles.
This new bully has no journalistic or academic or scientific conscience to appeal to.
Whatever might be wrong with a person like Anthony Fauci or Francis Collins or any of the other doctors who have been demonized right of center for their approach to setting COVID policy, Oh, wow.

Because whilst Joe Rogan is, by his nature, a populist, i.e.
he reaches a lot of people and is popular...
His guests have been interestingly diverse, particularly, I would argue, during the pandemic period.
Who among us would have heard of Robert Malone, who's the guest on our show tomorrow, incidentally, if it were not for Joe Rogan or Peter McCulloch or Jay Bhattacharya, or many of the significant voices that changed the way we regarded what was happening during the pandemic.
Didn't many of us learn for the first time, as a result of Joe Rogan's conversations, that you shouldn't vaccinate during a pandemic?
That MRNA technology was not designed to be deployed in this way.
We learned that from Robert Malone, the inventor of it.
Didn't we learn from watching Joe Rogan that getting out and exercising and doing breath work and subjecting yourself to cold were all important ideas?
So it's not enough to To say that Joe Rogan don't have a degree and should therefore shut up because a lot of times it's not him that he's saying, what do you think about this?
And then listening.
In fact, I like, and a lot of you will have seen this post, that person that said Joe Rogan's like a 4th century Khan, like a member of the Khan dynasty.
I don't know what century they would have been.
Were they sort of early medieval?

Sort of saying like a...
Explain to Joe Rogan, what is it, science man, glasses man, tell me, what caused myocarditis?
You know, like he's like a sort of an equestrian archer, like Genghis Khan or his lineage, calling experts to his court to explain complex ideas.
Joe Rogan himself apparently rather liked that analysis.
Maybe that's a fair discussion.
He's someone who has authority and power now as a result of his popularity, but I don't think he's wielding it irresponsibly as he seems to be someone that's sort of kind of practicing what he preaches.
He wants to get on with his own life, likes to hunt, likes doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, eating meat and stuff like that, talks to a lot of experts, cares about nutrition, and he was pretty reluctant even to endorse Trump, even offering Kamala the opportunity to go in there.
I don't see why Sam Harris is haughtily condemning him.
And as for Elon Musk being sort of a bully, a Defeater, an uber-bully, an end-game bully, an end-level bully boss to beat all other bullies.
That doesn't seem fair either because there's certainly only certain stories emerge and other stories remain subterranean.
We still don't talk enough about the influence and power of the oligarch or billionaire class that benefit from, for example, the Ukraine-Russia war.
We don't talk enough about media being in the hands of a few corporations and them Operating in basic alignment through the Trusted News Initiative and taking all of their money from Big Pharma and therefore being sort of locked in a never-ending, tenacious grip with commercial interests that they should be able to report on objectively.
You know, I feel like what we need is get Dave Smith on.

I feel like what we need are people to be...
Critical of their own side.
For example, like, say you're pro-Trump and pro-MAGA, you should be going, I hope they govern the way they campaigned.
I hope that they don't advocate for more war.
I hope we do see a reckoning for Pfizer in the field of Big Pharma and a reckoning for the military-industrial complex.
I hope the Pentagon, not passing their last six audits, comes to light.
I hope that troops and service personnel are honoured and revered and looked after, but the military-industrial complex are brought under control.
I think it's right to say that, yeah?

Tending and trending towards CBDCs, so they can control that.
Citizen ID, so that they can social credit score us, I would say.
And we've already seen the early symptoms and indicators of that.

Bureaucracies that transcend national democracies or republics.
Are our greatest threat.
And their relationships with the deep state and their relationships with corporatism, commercial corporatism and capitalist corporatism, I mean, are the nexus of power that has to be opposed and can probably only be opposed by a kind of populism that forms around nationalism.
There's an argument for you to mull over.
And I'd sort of like to hear where Sam Harris goes.
He stands on that rather than just saying that Musk and RFK are bullies.
But I bet that Elon Musk can be relied on to respond maturely.
And sensibly.

Now, our main subject today is the DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency.
All the way through the campaign, new stars kept emerging.
Vivek Ramaswamy, for a minute, was against Trump, weren't he?
One of the candidates running for the leadership of the Republican Party.
Then he yielded and became an advocate and supporter of Trump.
Very sly.
Very sly, Vivek.
I liked watching the bomb motts fly as Trump brought down his opponents.
We've spoke to Vivek a bunch of times.
He is sharp, he is fast, he is clever, and he is an independent, successful business person.
So, he's an interesting appointment.
Elon Musk is perhaps an unparalleled, a Who's he like?
I don't know.
Maybe he's the kind of figure that could only emerge out of these times and this media in the way that Walt Disney emerged out of the technology that defined his era.
You know, animation being one example of that.
Creating worlds from his imagination.
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have got their own new branch of government.
The legacy media are of course claiming that it's an ersatz emphatic position, a symbol only, that won't have any real control.
But when he was campaigning, Vivek Ramaswamy said he was going to sack off 75% of government employees.
And what I've learned to understand is that many of these employees, whether they know it or not, are the guardians of what we call the deep The kind of bureaucrats that mean that elections don't mean anything, even when you have a fair and successful one.
So let's have a look at this new Department of Government Efficiency.

It's the very top of his page is a picture of him in sunglasses and a chain.

Is ultimately all power symbolic as we live here on this material plane?

Well, Elon Musk suffered a humiliating demotion tonight by Donald Trump.
I can already tell that there was a meeting before this where he went, do you know what I'm going to say?
I'm going to present this as a humiliating demotion.
It's the only way we can attack this now.
Like, you can see the media that has been bested and cowed by the results of the election scrambling to find their new position, perhaps recognizing that during the Biden and Kamala era, it was horrible.
Right-wing media, or at least anti-establishment media, that came to the forefront.
They surely must be realizing now that if you're anti-establishment, that if Elon Musk and Viveka Ramaswamy are about to become, in inverted commas, the establishment, there will be a void in media For people that are openly attacking them.
The problem is, in media spaces like ours, we're all going to openly continue to discuss the government in exactly the same way.
Me, for example, I'm English.
I'm not even from your country.
I don't know what you should be doing.
All I know is that I believe in certain principles.
Free speech is one of them.
The right to have the maximum power in your own individual life.
The right to be able to rely on institutions that claim to have access to vital and verifiable principles like justice and kindness does not see those things weaponized by the state as they've obviously become in recent years.
To have a media that you can rely on because they report the truth rather than kowtowing to their imperialist masters and amplifying their messaging.
You know, that's the kind of stuff I'm interested in and that won't change whoever's in government.
So, Lawrence O'Donnell here He's immediately sort of framing himself, I suppose, as the voice of reason against Vivek and Elon.
They've suffered a humiliating demotion.
Let's see how he can undergird that idea, because, well, I suppose, what did it say in the announcement?

I'd love to see that statement, actually, as a matter of fact.
The theory that Elon Musk might become, in effect, a co-president I didn't think that.

I thought that what Elon Musk would be over is a bunch of government bureaucracies that were overpopulated with a parakeets and mandarins, mandarins, that are Are answerable only to diffuse deep state powers.
They're not even remotely centralised or ordered, except in so much as they're generally supportive of corporate globalist enterprises, whether they're commercial or authoritarian, that we learn so much about during the pandemic, which we broadly understand to be the military-industrial complex or the nexus of power that is built around health and big pharma and big food and big agriculture.
Our fellow Vivek Ramaswamy, And Elon Musk would be swooping, is the word I'm going to use, into those kind of agencies and going, you're fired, you're fired, you're fired.

And my feeling is that Bobby Kennedy is going to be going in and into the NIH and CDC and all that and going, whoa, you lot was lying during the pandemic.

People love and trust the government and The media.
They want people that have been in government for so long they've turned into kind of evil skeletons.
Or they're part dust by the time they become president.
Joe Biden was the first dust president.
We'd had dust bowl presidencies, but never a dust president.
And we also want those kind of corporatized, hollowed out, vacant, Staring officials that have worked in litigation and authoritarianism.
That's what people like.
They don't want plucky young guys like Vivek Ramaswamy who do push-ups on command, or guys like RFK that attack Pfizer.
No!
We want a deep state, more powerful than ever!
Or Vivek Ramaswamy, who's not even a billionaire, He's not even a billionaire, and what kind of racist is gonna have brown skin like that?

He came on our show, actually, and said stuff like that.

That's why this election was so crazy.
You've got so much access to information now that they don't want you to have.
And it's carrying on and it's continuing.
It's changing the world.
It's actually truly amazing.
Here's Vivek Ramaswamy saying that he would lose 75% of government employees.
And I don't think that means hardworking men and women cleaning streets and genuinely contributing to communities.
I get the sense he means a managerial class that are ensuring that nothing really changes with or without elections.

They basically said they know how to manipulate Trump.
They know that all they have to do is to flatter him.

And they feel that because they came in at the end with money, that Trump will do as they say.
Now, I don't believe that.
I know Trump is his own man, and I think that's going to give them trouble, is Trump is an alpha.
He's not going to sit around and be bossed around by a bunch of people.
But of course, this is a major concern for us, and we're still happy, we're still celebrating, but now we have to make sure that these cabinet picks are correct.
It's a crucial time for crucial analysis.
It's interesting, isn't it?

This is going to be interesting, because you're not now just going to be able to shut him down.

How are all of the victims of lawfare going to fare now that there is a new central set of powers taking over these bureaucracies, particularly if some of the deep state entrenched figures are going to be chucked right out of this.
It's going to be pretty fascinating.

This is, like, Marco Rubio is likely to become Secretary of State.
state that's what a lot of people are saying uh tulsi gabbard tulsi gabbard spoke to meligan kelly about that seemed to be under the impression that it would be uh not a good idea i think it would be a huge mistake for president trump to choose him because he represents the neocon warmongering establishment of washington dc which which stands diametrically opposed to the very policies that president trump has always stood for going all
the way back to when he ran for president in 2016 through that first term in office and the things that he's talking about wanting to do now and it would just it would send the wrong message to a lot of folks who are Very concerned about the fact that we are on the brink of war with Russia and China and Iran and North Korea.
If Marco Rubio is his vice president, then that is what we will face, and it will cause a lot of people to question what kind of foreign policy will actually be executed.
Will it be the one that Trump wants and stands for, or will it be one that will continue the deep state neocon warmongers who've gotten us into the mess that we are in now?
Mmm, pretty interesting.
Another appointee is Pete Hegseth, who I'd not heard of before, but he's a former vet and Fox newscaster.
Guess which point CNN and MSNBC pundits highlight when commentating on that potential appointment.
There's a chance to course correct it, but it would take a new Trump administration going after it really hard.
How would they correct it?
Well, first of all, you've got to fire the chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and you've got to fire this.
I mean, obviously you're going to bring in a new secretary of defense, but any general that was involved, general, admiral, whatever that was involved in any of the DEI woke shit has got to go.
Either you're in for war fighting, and that's it.
That's the only litmus test we care about.
You gotta get DEI and CRT out of military academies, so you're not training young officers to be baptized in this type of thinking.
And then, you know, whatever the standards, whatever the combat standards were, say, in, I don't know, 1995, let's just make those standards.
And as far as recruiting, to hire the guy that, you know, did Top Gun Maverick and create some real ads that motivate people to want to serve.
And there's lots of other ways in which you could identify who gets promoted and what, but there's an ethos change.
There's a reason people don't want to serve, because they don't trust that their senior leaders are going to have their best interest in mind in combat.
I know there were mistakes made on our tours all over the place, but I at least, for the most part, had a sense that my senior leaders were committed to the completion of the mission for the right reasons.
And maybe there were strategic differences and all that other stuff.
And it wasn't always perfect.
And that trust is broken.
And you have to reestablish that trust by putting in no-nonsense warfighters in those positions who aren't going to cater to the socially correct garbage.
My prayer is that this election is precisely what many people believe it to be, an opportunity to disrupt globalism.
Globalism is dependent upon war so that the war machine itself can be fed, so that the military-industrial complex is kept in business, a business they'd be booted out of if the Pentagon could pass an audit, if we saw where your money is going and the wars that it's funding.
Let alone if we were to experience for a moment, as many as you have one way or another, the real horrors of wars, the loss of lives, the loss of innocent lives, the loss of the lives of combatants.
This is the month of remembrance where we celebrate and commemorate those that gave their lives that we may enjoy the freedoms such as we do enjoy them associated with contemporary life.
What many of us want to see now is an administration committed to ending war, beyond ending war, ending violence that uses the power of the United States of America to become a diplomatic force in so much as they're even involved in foreign conflict is to bring them to cessation, not profiting from their continuation.
We want an administration that...administrates and governs for the health of ordinary Americans, that to a degree, of course, ensures good relationships with the other nations of the world, hey, I'm from one of those nations, but stands for true judiciary, for true due process,
that stands up to the corrupt legacy media that brings them down, that ensures that across the world there are populist uprisings, that all of the bureaucrats that have seized control of the throat of the great nations of this planet have their grip unprized, And there lies undone that we the people may rise again across the world in a new freedom that we may be in a position to serve the Lord openly and contently with one another so that we can align with great principles so that we
can live in truth and glory and grace together.
What we don't want to see are deep State employees remaining in place.
Advocacy for law continuing.
Corporatism, commercialism, keeping America sick still ends up being the default policy.
But this is the early days.
The man ain't even in government yet.
