Ken Matthews dissects the Epstein files’ delayed release on The Stone Zone, exposing a 100,000-page "bait and switch" tied to Trump’s political calculations—from a 2011 email where Epstein weaponized his denials to midterm risks if Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene fail to push for transparency. He links the scandal to FBI inaction on 20 implicated figures, from Clinton to Hollywood elites, while slamming media bias and Trump’s shifting narratives, warning the files’ suppression could fracture his base. The episode frames Epstein as a leverage tool, not just a personal scandal, with broader implications for accountability. [Automatically generated summary]

Epstein Files Controversy 00:14:51
Rural Americans deserve access to the best our nation has to offer, especially when it comes to health care.
Across every state and every community, America's rural hospitals are the first line of defense, protecting our families, neighbors, and loved ones.
No matter where you live, hospital care doesn't clock out.
They're there 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Each year, America's over 5,000 hospitals care for millions of patients, providing 24-7 emergency care, delivering babies, cancer treatments, and other life-saving care that patients rely on.
Behind every one of those patients are doctors, nurses, and caregivers working tirelessly to keep people healthy and safe.
Hospitals are our community's lifelines.
They employ our neighbors and keep our families health.
But now, some in Congress are threatening access to care.
Tell Congress, protect patient care to keep America strong.
Don't cut rural health care.

It's okay.
My name's Ken Matthews.
I have been sanctioned to guest host for Roger Tonight.
Anyway, it's good to see you again.
Happy Monday.
It's November 17th, 2025.
The number is 800-848-9222.
Biggest story today: the Epstein files and the terrible job the news media is doing.
And it's a shame because you would think there'd be something in it for everybody.
You know, something in it for the left, something in it for the right, a little of this, a little of that.
I think it's so overwhelming.
People don't know how to deal with it.
My suggestion would be, just like when people comment on books that they don't read, I would look at a lot of the emails, as many as possible.
And there's a ton of them.
There's a ton of them.
There's numerous links out.
Now, there's a difference.
I'm going to run over a few things regarding the Epstein files.
The Epstein files are different than the Epstein emails.
And the case files are different than the investigative files.
And the text are different.
Just like the flight log was different.
This has been a fascinating bait and switch since the first month of this year.
And then since President Trump got in.
And then miraculously in the last 72 hours, President Trump said, oh, we're going to do it.
We're going to do it.
We're going to release everything.
And I have a theory of why he did that, because he's been slow walking it and avoiding it all year.
We've been getting foolishness all year.
A little smattering of text, a smattering of emails.
We'll have all the podcasters show up at the White House except Ken.
No, I'm not bitter.
I'm not, because there was really not a lot of free food involved.
And I'm kind of glad that I didn't end up at the White House and be given a binder of Epstein files that had nothing in it and told, just pretend there's a lot in it so it looks like we're doing something.
So I'm glad I didn't have to be a part of that because I like to get to the bottom of stuff.
So Trump's narrative has just changed.
I'm going to explain why, in my humble opinion, what will happen tomorrow?
We don't know.
Trump can still shut it down.
Let me tell you why, because two weeks ago he opened an investigation, I believe, into Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, and someone else.
So what he did is he deflected brilliantly.
I think he's getting bad advice.
Or maybe he's just got too much on his plate.
He opened an investigation.
And because it's an open investigation and it's tangentically involving this particular file, he could easily say tomorrow, we are going to let it, we are going to release it, but there's got to be a lot of redactions and a lot of censorship.
In fact, we may not release it till maybe after Thanksgiving because it's an ongoing investigation.
Don't be surprised if you get that.
Because you know, Trump can be moody.
The president can be very moody.
That's why you get this stuff at 9:50 at night on Truth Social.
And he calls it a hoax again.
He called it a hoax.
It's not a hoax.
The entire Epstein episode is not a hoax.
It's a dark, dark period in our history, both here, domestically, and internationally.
So it looked like they could get about 297 House votes if they were to vote on this.
Remember, they were going to vote on it tomorrow.
Remember, they had to swear in that Democrat who was on board with it, along with a bunch of other Democrats.
I don't know if you know there was not only Ron Paul and Thomas Massey and Nancy Mays and Lauren Bobert and MTG.
They were all on board with voting to release the files.
Now, I think President Trump made a huge tactical mistake, and I know that is not permitted in Trumpland.
But I voted for Trump three times.
So I help you and I, as Trump supporters, we helped build Trumpland.
We helped build MAGA.
Those of us that supported President Trump back in the day when other people were laughing at us and mocking us and trying to shove Ted Cruz or Jeb Bush down our throat in 2015 and 2016, I was all Trump all the time.
I endorsed Trump in July of 2015.
Yes, after the elevator ride.
So this isn't a matter of flipping and flopping.
I still support the guy, but he better pull his butt out of the fire because it's not looking good.
Now, full disclosure, they could get 67 Senate votes tomorrow, 297 House votes, which would be two-thirds.
Now, would that happen?
It's right on the line.
Massey's goal was two-thirds vote because that would defeat a veto.
So Trump could still veto it.
He knew this, but it was risky.
Either way, this is a massive defeat for Trump.
And you can tell because of the way he's attacking one of his greatest allies ever, MTG.
Now, I don't know if someone's telling him to do that or if, again, I say this respectfully.
He doesn't seem as sharp as he was when I met him in 2016.
And the guy's got a lot on his plate.
People are coming at him from every angle.
And maybe he just didn't realize that he's not editing himself as he should.
But calling MTG, Marjorie Taylor Green, Marjorie Trader Green, is foolish because she may be a lot of things, but I do not think she's a traitor.
And here's where we get into that mythology, that king thing.
And I do not believe Trump is a king, but you don't help things when someone disagrees with you respectfully, as everybody starts out doing, and you call them a traitor.
I'm not a traitor if I disagree with President Trump, or if I don't support another country, or if I think my governor is an idiot in Pennsylvania, which he is.
He's a dangerous idiot, Josh Shapiro.
Doesn't make me a traitor.
But when the leader of the free world throws that around, that's not good.
It says your back is up against the wall, and you're worried about something.
Now, let me tell you what I think Trump is worried about because I get attacked all the time because I know there's certain things you're not allowed to talk about online or on my podcast.
And I really don't care.
A lot of people talk that game.
They say, I don't care.
I'll talk about what I want.
And then they don't talk about it.
So I'm going to talk about it because I've researched it enough and I'm looking at a stack of emails, which I don't know why in the world I printed out a ream of paper.
I could have just read it on the PDF.
But anyway, Trump's back is against the wall.
So now Trump wants to release the Epstein files because the rumor is, and several people have confirmed it, there's anywhere from 80 to 100 votes on the Republican side.
So it's no longer, I'll just embarrass MTG or mock Thomas Massey or say Ron Paul is crazy or make derogatory remarks about Nancy Mace, all of whom were and are huge MAGA America firsters.
I'm not hearing this analysis anywhere and it really bothers me.
It bothers me that, I mean, the whole thing, MAGA, is built on not throwing people under the bus, not being political.
MAGA and America First, which has been infiltrated and will never be the same after this week, ain't happening.
It is more commonsensical.
So the fact that MTG, Massey, Ron Paul, now I would say those are three of the most commonsensical, realistic people in Congress in this particular debate, because those are the ones that the president is attacking.
And then you have Nancy Mace and Lauren Boebert and say what you will look.
I love the fact that Lauren Boebert carries a gun openly.
I'm just, I think that's very cool.
But that's for another day.
You can't bully MAGA.
And I think this is the toughest thing for politicians, both Republican and Democrat, to figure out.
See, we don't care because we're not investors in foreign countries.
We're not a bunch of billionaires.
We're not obsessed with the cocktail parties.
Now, I can tell you right now, there's a bunch of MAGA people that won't even come out and vote in the midterms.
And a lot will vote against Republicans because you just keep ticking us off.
So you can look at it any way you'd like.
I'm just speaking for myself as an American firster who thinks America should come before every country and that the Epstein file should have been released immediately after he was sworn in.
But now, as I read the emails, I can only imagine what's in the files.
So his back is up against the wall.
The polls are not good.
The most powerful argument for the Epstein files release for many of us, and I would say this is for me as well, is, number one, Trump is protecting powerful men in his circle of influence and power.
And from everything I have seen so far, that's exactly what is happening.
And then there's the dark extreme, which I do not adhere to because I've yet to see any proof.
And that is that Trump is involved in this dark behavior with the young girls and the trafficking.
I've seen zero proof of that since I started researching it in 2015 when I got the files from West Palm Beach.
However, the more I see of the Epstein text, which I've been reading all afternoon, it's not good, and I wish Trump would have got out in front of it.
I wish the president would have gotten out in front of it.
The Epstein text do place Trump in Epstein's apartment, and that's all.
There's nothing else about that.
That's it.
He visited the apartment.
I don't know if you know that there were several hundred emails.
I don't know if I want to say several hundred because I haven't read several hundred, but Steve Bannon is in a lot of the emails back and forth between Jeffrey Epstein.
I'm looking at him right here.
Steve Bannon.
Yeah, that's Steve Bannon.
And Peter Thiel.
Yeah, that Peter Thiel.
I almost said Teter Peale, which was dangerously close to a meme that I didn't want to go down that road with.
Something that Peter Thiel mentioned and several other people mentioned is that President Trump was not involved in the nefarious stuff that is hanging around the neck of, maybe I should use a different analogy there hanging around the neck of Epstein, involved in the dark stuff with Epstein, which is good.
In fact, at one point, Jeffrey Epstein, it's in an email, he tells Steve Bannon that President Trump was never involved with massages and all that other stuff.
There's an email where Jeffrey Epstein actually says that.
He, in essence, exonerate Trump.
He exonerates Trump.
So when we get back, I'm going to share a few more emails with you and a few more bits and pieces of what has been released in the last week and what may be coming out tomorrow.
And then hopefully you can listen to some of the BS you're getting from the GOP and the DNC and most major news organizations.
Epstein's Exoneration Emails 00:14:53
And you'll be able to sift through it because nobody is really going deep enough on this.
And I think they're afraid for a couple reasons.
They don't want to burn their people and they don't want to exonerate their enemies.
We'll be back in the stone zone on the Red Apple Audio Networks.

Always a pleasure to be here on the Red Apple Audio Networks.
Tomorrow's the big day.
Will we get, after almost a year of stalling and slow walking and relabeling and mislabeling and downplaying, will we get the files from the Epstein case of 2019?
Now, the files are chalked full of valuable information.
I'll mention that in a second.
I don't have the files in front of me.
I'm just telling you, when you compare the files to the text releases and the emails and some of the testimony and some of the stuff that's been revealed by, for example, Virginia Guffray, who took her life earlier this year, whose book is sitting behind me, and she says repeatedly that Trump, she never saw him.
He was never involved in anything sexual or anything illegal, etc.
The few times she did see him, it was in passing.
And of course, she knew President Trump from Mar-a-Lago because she was, quote-unquote, recruited from Mar-a-Lago by Jeffrey initially to be a masseuse or a massage and kind of like help around his pool area and his club environment.
He had quite the place in West Palm Beach, by the way.
That's been torn down now.
Do you know that?
They've tore that down, that big pink, it's a big pink house at the end of the street there, just a few minutes from Mar-a-Lago by car.
There's an email where Jeffrey Epstein says to Steve Bannon, because he had numerous conversations with Steve Bannon, some of a very political nature and occasionally a personal nature, but again, nothing incriminating other than the fact that Steve Bannon was one of many people in the inner circle of Trump both pre and post first election that had a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Whether it was a consulting type thing, a friendship, social.
I mean, this guy's black book was massive.
It was amazing.
So, what will happen tomorrow?
I think it's going to be big.
My fingers are crossed.
We'll be back in the Stone Zone.
The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative.
On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
On the Red Apple Radio Audio Network, the Red Apple Audio Networks.
My name is Ken Matthews, guest hosting for Mr. Stone Tonight in the Stone Zone, 800-848-9222.
Virginia Guffray, one of the more high-profile, unfortunately now deceased victims.
A lot of phenomenal testimony in her book.
Amazing information in her book.
She mentioned the fact, and she never implicated Donald Trump, and he never was implicated in the book.
So, this is something that, you know, as a Trump supporter, it's interesting because people don't, they don't want to have these honest conversations.
They just, you know, it's kind of like Charlie Kirk, shut up and believe the FBI.
It's kind of like COVID, shut up and take the shot.
It's the same thing here.
It's just from the Republicans instead of the Democrats or from the media.
There's always someone telling you or me, shut up, stop asking questions.
And there's been such an awakening in this country over the past decade.
We're done with that.
That's all we're going to do now is ask questions.
There's millions of people online.
Do you know how many podcasts there are worldwide?
Over 7 million.
So a handful of those people, I'm sure, are going to pursue the truth like a pit bull.
That's why mainstream legacy media is going out of business because people are awake now.
Now they're demanding the truth.
They're demanding transparency and they're not getting it from the mainstream media, which has turned out to be a punchline because they're all paid to shut up.
Epstein hated Trump.
He trashes him constantly.
He trashes Trump so hard, it's almost funny.
It's like, oh my gosh, he just wails, wails on Trump, how much he hates him as a person, and he makes fun of him.
But then his conversations with Steve Bannon, he's talking about, you know, how we can strategize.
And then he has conversations with other people about how they, and one of the conversations that jumped out, I'm going to get to it in a second.
This is from the emails I went through this afternoon and last night.
There's a 2011 email that puts Trump in Epstein's apartment with an alleged victim.
Period, stop.
But there's zero proof that anything sexual took place.
But that exposes Trump's denials regarding the proximity to Epstein.
This is where I think Trump mismanaged this and he made a mistake.
He should have come clean at the very beginning of this, the day the first photo of Virginia Dufrey or Gufray, excuse me, from Mar-a-Lago came out where she was in her pool club or the country club outfit, their uniform that they wear.
From that very day, and people tried to start linking it to Trump, he should have just been open.
He should have said, look, I'm a billionaire.
I run with billionaires.
I don't do what they do.
I don't always follow them where they go, but we share investments.
We share this.
I see this.
I see that.
He tried to do it, but I think advisors shut him down because there's so many people on the periphery that are in deep caca when the files come out.
I mean, deep caca, like the names that Thomas Massey has, the 20 men that I'm praying he's going to name.
And I think Trump was in his own way trying to protect them.
Do I think Trump is a pedophile?
No, and I've never seen any proof.
Does he like young, attractive women?
Yeah.
Have you followed the man's career?
Have you seen his wives, his attractive wives?
Okay.
So there's a big difference between that.
There's a big difference between being a swinging bachelor and running with a bunch of billionaires that some of them are just sick.
The question is, did he know?
And that's going to be the big, that's going to be another big investigative angle when the files come out.
They're going to say, does this look like a man, President Trump, not president at the time, but now we're finding out he was president during some of the correspondence?
Did he know what was going on and did he look the other way?
So, I mean, I think that's the worst it can get, but that's pretty damn bad.
So, we'll see.
In 2015, there was an email, Epstein talked to Wolf, and I think it's the wolf from the wolf that's the author and the journalist.
But don't quote me on it.
I don't, it's it Michael Wolf?
Is that his name?
I forget.
But they talk about converting Trump's denials into leverage.
So, this is where this is where this minutiae in here is fascinating because here you have Epstein talking to an author and a journalist reporting on Trump, wrote a book about Trump and says, if Trump were to deny being on Epstein's plane, which he was, or deny being in one of Epstein's buildings, which he was,
then we can hold this over Trump's head or just release it to hurt Trump before the 2016 election.
So, there's a lot of stuff in there.
This is why I'm so frustrated, especially with the Republicans and some of my conservative colleagues for just kind of throwing this.
This is not going away.
And if you think this is going away, just like if you think the Charlie Kirk thing is going away, or Gaza is going away, or Ukraine is going away before the midterms, I don't know what you're smoking.
You have really lost touch, not just with the base, with the mainstream.
You're losing touch because the magnet to Donald Trump, the things that drew people to Donald Trump.
I had Democrat friends saying, you know, I can't stand this about him.
I hate Orange Man.
I can't stand this.
But I love the fact that he doesn't want to go to war.
And I love the fact that he's going to seal the border.
Or I have women friends that didn't like Trump, didn't vote for him the first time, and said, I love the fact he's going to bring Epstein to justice and he's going to expose all that.
So when you start going back on what the people thought you were going to deliver, it's just not a good look.
I don't care how much money you spend on PR people or how many influencers you're paying however many grand a pop to say it your way.
We're smarter than this.
There's 350 million people out here.
And I think about 80 million probably voted for Trump.
The question is, how many of them are coming back in the midterms?
And that's what everybody cares about now.
Everybody's worried about the midterms.
Well, you should continue to worry because if you don't get the Epstein thing straight, you can talk about affordability all day long.
Actually, Mamdani started talking about that first.
Not that he's terrible, but why did it take a communist Muslim getting elected in New York before the Trump administration started to say we need affordability?
Yeah, we do.
We do.
But this is what you ran on.
Just like in the first term, you ran on the border and illegal immigration.
So I thought that was fascinating that you have Epstein.
Look, Epstein was, it's kind of like a combination of a busybody.
On one hand, he's very insecure, but then on the other hand, he thinks he's God.
And then he knows everybody.
I mean, everybody.
Again, it's not your job to investigate this.
It's actually the news media's job, and they ain't going to do it.
The problem is with the news media, and it's just like with the political parties, because they're all one big club.
They're not looking for the truth.
They're looking for an angle.
So it's always an angle.
So they'll look through 500 pages of something looking for an angle instead of just going page by page and saying, oh my God, they were trying to frame Trump.
Or, oh, my gosh, there's nothing in this email with Gislay Maxwell that concrete, there's no concrete implications of Trump anywhere so far.
And there wasn't in the investigation in West Palm Beach.
And I remember researching that before I endorsed Trump because I didn't want to come out and endorse someone that.
And, you know, I guess A will be on my face if it turns out I'm completely wrong.
But I just think this is a poorly managed, it's a poorly managed cover-up, and it's not helping.
And we could say all day it's helping.
We could say all day it's a hoax.
We can play it down.
We can say, get on with it.
Stop talking about it.
That isn't going to work with the American people.
That might work with an intern.
It might work with the senator or the congressperson.
But you're dealing with the American people.
We're much smarter than you give us credit for.
We don't have to flex all the time.
But we've been smelling the BS of politics all our lives.
And it's all the same cookie-cutter garbage.
You think you're smarter than us.
You hire someone to throw a coat of paint on it and then you lie about it.
And it ain't going to work anymore.
And when you stack some of these things up, like being in Israel, where we shouldn't be, being in the Ukraine, where we shouldn't be, hiding the Epstein files, which we should have released, and the rest of it, it's not an attractive lineup heading into the midterms.
I'm just trying to help as a supporter, as a conservative supporter.
So when they release the case files tomorrow, supposedly, and I think it's a 50-50 chance.
50,000 Pages Unveiled 00:02:36
This is a Department of Justice fully detailed investigative file of over 100,000 pages.
I've never seen it.
Evidence, testimony, additional observations, time stamps, depositions, travel logs, documents, 100,000 pages.
There might be more emails and text as part of that case file.
And this is what the Trump administration, I believe, this is why they've been slow walking or blocking this since the very beginning.
I don't think Trump knows what's in this.
But I do believe, because I think people have come to him, I think people have come to him from other countries.
I think people have come from him from the campaign and from both parties and said, oh my God, I think I might be in there.
Well, did you do something wrong?
Well, sort of, I not meet up.
I think there's a lot of bad actors in these files.
And I think Trump just wanted to distance himself from this.
I mean, what do you do?
What if, let's just say hypothetically, very hypothetically, someone gave millions of dollars to your campaign, and then the rumors start circulating because people talk.
That's what people talk.
That's what they do in the DOJ and the FBI.
And all the places they're not supposed to run their mouth, they run their mouth like a talk show host.
That's our job.
It's not your job in the FBI.
It's not your job in the DHS.
I mean, our government's a sieve as far as security goes.
And other countries, the same thing.
What if it got out that one of Trump's big donors was doing some horrible things with a child thanks to Epstein?
Well, that's going to be bad.
Thomas Massey said he's aware of at least 20 people, politicians, billionaires, movie producers, and more, implicated by victims.
And the FBI has yet to investigate any of those names.
And that's where Mr. Massey and I are on the exact same page.
Because my thing is, you will come after me if a neighbor says I'm inflammatory online or I'm saying the wrong thing about transgenders on my blog.
But you're not going to go after a bank president when a girl says he raped me at 14.
Wake Up, Lose This Story 00:06:22
Wake up.
You got to wake up.
You're going to lose this story.
You're going to lose control of this if you don't get it together.
And I'm thinking before the end of the week, it's Monday, right?
So when we come back, we're going to talk a little bit about, oh, this is another great thing that people are going to love.
We're going to talk about how fumbled the FBI, how they fumbled the Charlie Kirk investigation, and how every day new things come out about it, and no one in the media is allowed to cover it, so they won't.
And that's what really frustrates me the most.
I think as someone who's been in media now 45 years, give or take, I get so frustrated when I tune into different places, and there's not, not only is there no truth, they're not even covering stories that really impact the future of our republic.
And I think the assassination and the cold-blooded murder live of Charlie Kirk, I think that should be like an RFK a Bobby Kennedy assassination investigation.
That should be the level of it.
So when we get back, I'll tell you a couple things that are allegedly breaking in that case.
And then you can call your senator or your congressman tomorrow and say, hey, why aren't you guys doing anything like anything about anything?
800-848-9222.
I'm never going to get another congressional interview again.
It's Ken Matthews in for Roger Stone and the Stone Zone.
We'll be right back.

And I will gladly give out my personal email for Ken Matthews and my podcast just because if you can't get to me tonight and you want to troll me or stalk me, Ken at KenMathewsmedia.com.
If you want to weigh in, and sometimes, you know, this hour goes so fast, just goes by so quickly.
But we cover a lot.
And just to wrap up, I just want to point out something that President Trump said in his statement on Truth Social when he said, you know, regarding the Epstein files supposedly being released tomorrow, and I'm fingers across.
It's time to move on from this Democrat hoax perpetrated by radical left lunatics in order to deflect from the great success of the Republican Party.
See, I would have recommended against that.
I know that's a talking point, and that's what most talk show hosts are adhering to.
The reason I don't like that is because it's bull because this should have been released a long time ago, and the president could have released it in January of this year.
So, at the end of the day, it has nothing to do with a deflection from things that you've done.
In fact, it's actually damaging the momentum of pardoning the Jan Sixers, which you did early on, and deporting illegals, which you did a phenomenal job of, and cleaning up our cities, which you did a phenomenal job of, and raising the morale of troops and enlistment and law enforcement.
I mean, there's a reason so many people voted for President Trump.
But this, again, you got to get this fixed.
And this is what they do.
This is what they always do.
They release something and they do a bait and switch.
And they did this with the election in 2020.
They kept saying, 60 courts have said it wasn't, there wasn't even enough evidence.
No, 60 courts didn't allow the evidence in.
So there's a big difference.
This is the game that the media and the government plays.
We thought we kept thinking every time some emails were released from Epstein that that was the files.
That was the case.
So people could argue, see, see, so-and-so did this, so-and-so didn't do that.
What's his name did that?
But we still don't have the files yet.
And when was the trial again?
Oh, yeah, 2019.
Okay.
So you can't do that anymore.
You just can't keep saying it.
It's just like with Charlie Kirk.
I mean, is anybody talking about the Egyptian military planes that were over Utah around Charlie Kirk's death date and from 2022 to 2025, tracking elements of TPUSA?
Has anybody even mentioned that?
Are you going to investigate it?
Are you going to vet it?
It's amazing to me.
That to me is this Charlie Kirk story is so big and it's so important to the future of not only the country from the standpoint of justice, but to the Republican Party.
I mean, I say to the Republican leadership, get your head out of your rectum.
Do you want to save the Republic and save this party and get through the midterms or not?
You better refocus.
I mean, I'd love to fly up there and explain it to you, but I don't have the kind of cash that you're paying everybody else to talk the way you want to.
But have a great week, okay?
