EMERGENCY REPORT: Roger Stone On The Attempted Deep State Takedown of President Trump
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Times bestselling author and a longtime friend and advisor of President Donald Trump.
As an outspoken libertarian, Stone has appeared on thousands of broadcasts, spoken at countless venues and lectured before the prestigious Oxford Political Union and the Cambridge Union Society.
Due to his four plus decades in the political and cultural arena, Stone has become a pop culture icon.
And now, here's your host, Roger Stone.
Welcome.
I'm Roger Stone and you are about to enter the Stone Zone.
Well unless you are living under a rock you are now aware that the fourth shoe has dropped.
That is a formal indictment of President Donald Trump and 19 others in Georgia by Soros-funded prosecutor and partisan Democrat prosecutor Fannie Wills.
This comes as a surprise to no one.
But the thinness of this indictment is surprising indeed.
Essentially, Donald Trump and his associates are accused of questioning the anomalies and irregularities in the Georgia election.
Some of these counts are as thin as a tweet in which the president urged people to watch OAN or right side broadcasting.
Other tweets in which the president said correctly that Republican observers were removed from the counting center in Atlanta, that cardboard was put over the windows so no one could observe.
We actually have that on video.
We know that happened, but Donald Trump has a criminal charge against him for telling the truth.
Anybody who's watching this process recognizes that this is a partisan political attack.
Fannie Wills is running for re-election and this is the centerpiece of her campaign.
It's not surprising she seems to slap her name on everything.
Extraordinarily embarrassing is the fact that the county clerk's website actually posted a copy of this indictment long before the grand jury, we are told, actually voted to indict.
Then we were told quickly that that was a counterfeit that wasn't real except for when they actually posted the indictment somewhere around 11 o'clock in the evening.
It was identical to the draft indictment that had been posted online previously.
An egregious example of the fact that this cake was baked from the very beginning.
The charges in Georgia are more troubling to me than some of the other charges.
After all, if, as I believe Donald Trump is, even if he has to do so from a jail cell, favored to win reelection and will not be deterred from that effort, he would technically have the ability to pardon himself for any alleged crimes that he was convicted of in either Florida or Washington DC.
Actually, when it comes to Florida, I think that those who are persecuting him and prosecuting him in the District of Columbia are deathly afraid that he's actually going to get a fair trial in South Florida.
Interestingly, my reading of the 1977 Presidential Documents Act indicates that the President is entitled to do anything with his documents that he wants.
That includes deciding which of those documents are personal and which ones of them must be returned to the National Archives.
That law was actually upheld by Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who was, ironically, the judge at my trial.
She ruled that former President Bill Clinton was entitled to do anything with his documents that he wanted, including keeping them in his sock drawer.
The indictment in Washington D.C.
is yet another example of the two-tiered justice system.
So, let me get this straight.
If you question the outcome of a federal election based on anomalies, irregularities, and actual evidence of fraud, that's an egregious crime for which you can not only be sent to jail, but under certain circumstances you can be barred for running for office again.
That's true if you're Donald Trump.
But if you are Kamala Harris or Hillary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi or Congressman Jerry Nadler or Congressman Jamie Raskin or Stacey Abrams or Terry McAuliffe or Al Gore, for that matter, you can question the outcome of federal election.
And it's not a crime at all.
The leaks of this entire miscarriage of justice, the ongoing leaks from both Washington and from Georgia, are, I think, intended for three separate purposes.
One, uh, there's an attempt to smear president Trump to damage his campaign.
That very clearly has not worked.
It's counter intuitive, but it cannot be denied that with each indictment, all of them, I think, incredibly transparent, Donald Trump has actually gotten stronger.
Not only is there greater intensity in his level of support among the voters, but his share of the vote.
continues to gain.
A new poll by Emerson College of New Hampshire primary voters shows the president holding a 40 point lead over his nearest competitor and, tellingly, former Governor Chris Christie now is in second place with 9% of the vote, followed by Governor Ron DeSantis with 8% of the vote.
When you consider that DeSantis has literally spent Millions, and that Governor Christie is a revenge candidacy without much money, that is extraordinarily telling in itself.
We also saw the sheriff in Fulton County, Georgia, that is Atlanta, announcing with glee that when the president turns himself in, that they will take and release his mugshot.
They have certainly wanted this for some time.
I'm not running the Trump campaign, but if I was, I would take that picture, put it on a t-shirt and sell it to raise millions more for the Trump campaign.
Trump's campaign is sustained not by a small, uber-wealthy group of bundlers or billionaires, but by tens of thousands of small and medium-sized donors who give over and over again.
Whereas, for example, the tenancy of Governor Ron DeSantis is fueled by a small A number of billionaires and millionaires, many of whom are tapped out, meaning they have hit the federal limits in terms of what they can give.
I still believe, as I believed even before last night, that that which does not kill Donald Trump makes him stronger.
We saw a galvanizing of his support after the indictments in New York.
We saw a galvanizing of his support after the indictments in DC.
We saw a galvanizing of his support previously after the indictments in Florida where they did something very strange.
They took testimony before a Washington D.C.
grand jury and they read it to a grand jury in Florida in order to bring the indictments there.
It's my understanding as a non-lawyer that grand jurors need to have an opportunity to question the witnesses, which of course would be impossible.
Even Judge Eileen Cannon, who contrary to what you may see on NBC, is a highly qualified former prosecutor now serving with distinction on the federal bench, questioned the legitimacy of that.
That is my take on the developments in Georgia.
Today's show is really going to be built around taking your questions in a segment that we call Ask Stone.
Ask Stone.
So if you have a question you can send it to Ask Stone at StoneZone.com.
Ask Stone at StoneZone.com.
We will try to take your questions in the order in which they are asked.
Let me remind you at the very top that our show is brought to you by the great folks at MyPillow.com and you can support this show and everything we do here today and five days a week at five o'clock
Eastern 4 o'clock Eastern 5 o'clock I'm sorry 5 o'clock Eastern 4 o'clock Central 5 days a week by going to stone zone dot live you can see multiple platforms where the show is available so please remember to support our friends at mypillow.com.
We'll come back and talk about some of those great products shortly.
Let's go to our questions now.
Here's question number one.
Anthony from Newark, New Jersey says, what kind of hat is that you are wearing?
Excellent question.
This is called an Optimo Panama hat made famous by Warner Oland, who was an actor who played Charlie Chan in the movies, a famous detective in the 30s.
The irony of this hat is that they are not made in Panama.
The finest Panama hats are indeed made in Ecuador.
The finer the mesh, the finer the weave of the hat, the more expensive the hat is.
This hat is not particularly expensive, but you can certainly find them online.
It was 101 today in South Florida, and therefore headgear like this is really required.
Thank you very much for your question.
Angelina from Corpus Christi, Texas says, I see on your website stonezone.com you've written several books.
I can't afford to buy all of them at once.
Which one do I recommend that I buy first?
That's a simple question.
First of all, by going to StoneZone.com and by going to the shop, you can order all of my books.
When you order them at StoneZone.com, you will get an autographed and a personally inscribed, if you wish, copy of my book.
The book I recommend first and foremost is The Man Who Killed Kennedy.
The case against LBJ.
This was my first book.
It is a New York Times bestseller.
If you do order this book somewhere other than at the Stone Zone and it is available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble, for example, please be sure to order the paperback version because the paperback version has three extra chapters that were not included in the hardcover version.
So go to StoneZone.com, go to the shop there, and you can order my book, The Man Who Killed Kennedy, The Case Against LBJ.
While you're there, be sure to subscribe to thestonezone.com.
It's absolutely free, and you can see a compendium of all of The Stone Zone shows, which are posted there almost immediately after they're broadcast here at FrankSpeech.com.
So you can also subscribe to our Rumble channel.
Which is I think it is rumble slash Roger Stone in order to watch the show My second choice in terms of a book would be stones rules This is a book that has a great introduction by my good friend Tucker Carlson Although I have spent a lifetime
In politics it's not really a political book meaning these are really lessons that I have learned in life and it is I think applicable to anyone regardless of your avocation whether you are in tech or in entertainment or in agriculture or in retail whether you are political or whether you are completely non-political.
Whether you're a Republican, a Democrat, an independent, or completely non-political, I think Stone's Rules will be kind of like Sun Tzu's The Art of War or Machiavelli's The Prince, a great manual for life, and I strongly recommend Stone's Rules.
Again, you can get that by going to StoneZone.com and by going to the shop there.
I think you will enjoy both of them.
Also available, The Clinton's War on Women.
It's probably the book that got me criminally indicted even though I did nothing wrong.
Also, The Bush Crime Family.
The myth of Russian collusion all available at StoneZone.com by going to the shop.
I very much appreciate your question.
Jessica in Las Vegas, Nevada says I keep reading on Twitter that you and your wife got a sweetheart deal and from the IRS while poor Hunter Biden is being unfairly prosecuted.
Your reaction?
Thank you very much.
I'd like to answer this question.
My wife and I owe $2 million to the IRS, all of it from the year 2006.
Three quarters of that is interests and penalty, meaning the actual amount of taxes owed were about a half million dollars.
I made eight years of monthly payments without missing or being late in a single payment until such time that we were at the verge of bankruptcy and strictly ran out of money due to the Mueller Inquisition and witch hunt at which time I could not pay.
Hunter Biden failed to declare almost $10 million On his taxes, that was taxable income.
Mrs. Stone and I failed to report zero, nothing whatsoever.
Hunter Biden had his taxes paid in full by a wealthy patron on the West Coast.
Mrs. Stone and I will have to scrap to make a monthly payment for the rest of our lives.
Now, normally the IRS would negotiate some reduction in interest and penalties and put you on a payment plan through the Offer and Compromise Program.
In fact, my tax attorney, who can certify that we have correctly declared every single penny, was in the middle of such negotiations when, on a Friday night, The Department of Justice announced this civil suit against my wife and I, implying in their press release that we had failed to report income or failed to report assets accurately.
That is categorically false.
This is apples and oranges.
It has no relationship to the situation surrounding Hunter Biden.
What's really more extraordinary is.
Following very closely the investigations of the House Oversight Committee, there is very real evidence of crimes by Hunter Joe and Jim Biden, including extortion, bribery, money laundering, influence peddling, illegal lobbying, and racketeering, not to mention multi-million dollar payments from Russia, China, Ukraine, and Romania.
Back during the debate, when Donald Trump accused Joe Biden of having his son take, I think it was $1.3 million from the wife of the mayor of Moscow, Joe Biden called Donald Trump a liar.
Well, it turns out that Donald Trump was wrong.
It wasn't $1.3 million.
It was more like $30 million.
and the wife of the mayor of Moscow avoided being listed on the sanctions list in return.
So the idea that Hunter Biden is simply being prosecuted or was being prosecuted on the basis of these two minor tax crimes and where his entire tax debt has been paid by a wealthy patron from the West Coast ignores all of those other crimes.
Tucked deep inside this plea agreement was complete and total immunity from prosecution for all those other crimes.
Fortunately, a vigilant and strong-willed federal judge in Delaware realized that the prosecutors and Hunter Biden's lawyers were working together to give him broad immunity and nobody would have been the wiser.
With the appointment of a special counsel, In this case, David Weiss, the U.S.
Attorney, who's been investigating this case for over five years, an appointment that I believe, based on a reading of Department of Justice regulations, is improper and illegal, because the DOJ regulations specifically require that a special counsel be from outside the government, not just outside the DOJ, is another effort to hide the ball.
Federal prosecutors, as I discussed on this show with lawyer Tyler Nixon, longtime observer and critic of the Bidens, actually withdrew that plea deal in Delaware, which allows the special counsel, who may be improperly seated, which would be grounds to vacate any ultimate conviction by Hunter Biden anyway, has an opportunity now to jurisdiction shop
Could bring some future case if any is to be brought at all in Washington DC or in Northern California or more friendly jurisdictions in terms of the judiciary.
Also gives the special counsel a full two years or longer as long as he wishes actually to string out this investigation.
Let's say well beyond the 2024 election.
In many ways, I think the indictment of President Trump in Georgia had a lot to do with distracting our attention to the effort by Attorney General Merrick Garland and Mr. Weiss to cosset and protect Hunter Biden.
Thank you so much for your question.
Let's see, Patrick in El Paso, Texas says, What do you make of the Georgia indictment against President Trump that was announced last night?
I was holding my breath to see whether you would be among those charged.
Well, I was not holding my breath because I had nothing whatsoever to do with the efforts to question the anomalies or irregularities in the Georgia election, nor was I in that time period in touch with anyone who was listed in yesterday's indictment.
Nonetheless, as I said at the top of the show, I think this is a politically motivated witch hunt.
I don't believe, based on what I've read, that any laws were broken.
Again, I go back to the phone call between President Trump and Secretary of State Raffensperger, where it is falsely alleged that the president tells Raffensperger to find, that means manufacture, 11,870 votes, that means manufacture, 11,870 votes, which would tip the state to Trump.
A very careful reading of the transcript will demonstrate that that is completely out of context.
That's not what all of the president said or meant.
I think this is yet another manifestation of the fact that Donald Trump poses an existential threat to the two-party duopoly running this country.
And if this election were held tomorrow, I think he would win.
That assumes a free, fair, honest, and transparent election.
Which of course we all pray for.
Does anyone really think that Donald Trump would have been indicted in Georgia or in South Florida or in New York City or in Washington DC if he did not have a healthy lead for the Republican nomination as well as a narrow lead over Joe Biden?
I for one do not.
My next question, let's see.
Lisa from Jacksonville, Florida says, my sister got a video of you that was custom made for her birthday.
Where can I get one like that?
We have a graphic on this.
You can get your own custom-made video at cameo.com slash rogerstone cameo.com slash rogerstone.
So if you have a birthday or an anniversary or a special occasion or a meeting of your political club or your fraternal organization Or if you have some historical or political question you seek an answer to, you can order your very own custom-made video.
I crank them out pretty quickly.
I do reserve the right to reject those that are profane or insulting.
I'm not required to do all of the videos, but as long as your requests are legitimate and respectful, I would be honored to make your very own Custom video shout out to you or anyone you designate.
Please go to Cameo.com slash Roger Stone to order yours today.
Many thanks.
Here is the next question from Annabelle in West Newbury, Massachusetts, who says, Are you going to be at Mike Lindell's conference in Springfield, Missouri tomorrow?
That's August 15th and 16th.
The answer Annabelle is no unfortunately I am not and is with great regret that I cannot be there.
Mike Lindell is one of the finest Christian gentlemen I've ever met.
He's the ultimate optimist.
He is also a happy warrior in the fight for a free America.
He is the number one advocate for free speech and election integrity in America.
I know he's been working very hard to a solution to ensure that our next federal elections are free, fair, honest, and transparent.
He's been working with some of the brightest minds both legal and in the technical field.
And it is at this conference in Springfield, Missouri, that he is going to unveil his perfectly legal and I think legitimate plan.
I have no advanced notice of what that is.
But if you have an opportunity to attend the conference, I strongly recommend you do so.
Because of family obligations, I myself will not be able to be there.
But I very much appreciate Mike Lindell's offer to invite me and to allow me to speak.
And I only wish I could have taken him up on it.
My adopted nephew Alex Stone will be there to represent me.
If you have an opportunity to see him, he is a fine young man and I hope you will say hello.

Now's a good time to talk about that.
There are a number of great products at MyPillow.com.
I know many people on this network and many people in alternative media urge you to use their promo code when you go to MyPillow.com.
I asked you to use promo code STONE and I see it as a threefer.
One, you can help Mike Lindell.
He is in an epic fight with one of the election machine companies who is suing him, who are suing him, pardon me.
Mike Lindell will not settle that lawsuit based on everything I've read.
He chooses to fight.
That will cost him an enormous amount of money.
He also obviously is spending to put on this very exciting Symposium in Springfield, Missouri.
He really deserves and needs your support.
Mr. Stone and I also need the small commission that we gain when you go to MyPillow.com.
Now, there's some great products at MyPillow.com.
First and foremost is the revolutionary new MyPillow 2.0.
This is different than any other pillow that you may have had.
the MyPillow 2.0, you can actually get a four-pack special, which would normally cost you $259.92 for a mere $99.98, which...

Also a great favorite of mine are the new My Kitchen Towels.
My Kitchen Towels is a brand new product.
I recommend that as well.
I've been very outspoken about the high quality of the MyPillow dog beds.

Again, the pet blanket in three sizes, small, medium, large.

They started in 1959.
The large car size is actually only $69.98.

All right we're going to put up the Ask Stone address one more time to get some more of your questions.
Again if you want to ask a question we try to take them in the order in which they are sent.
You send them to AskStone at StoneZone.com.
That's AskStone at StoneZone.com.
This is a very popular feature.
There are no subjects that are out of bounds.
If your question is obscene or profane or insulting, I, of course, will not read it.
But we appreciate your audience participation here at the Stone Zone.
I've been listening to your new WABC radio show in the past couple of weeks.
Let's go back to our questions.
Albert in New York City says, I've been listening to your new WABC radio show in the past couple of weeks.
Who have your guests been and who do you have coming up?
WABC radio, which is making AM radio great again, is literally the most powerful AM radio signal in the United States.
It is a station with a long history in New York City, and I do a show there every Sunday afternoon, which you can listen to from 3 to 5 Eastern, that's 3 to 5 Eastern, by going to wabcradio.com.
That's wabcradio.com, where we are live streaming, and where the station live streams around the clock.
There's a lot of great shows there, including Larry Kudlow, who was the head of the Council of Economic Advisors under President Donald Trump, the man who quarterbacked the turbocharging of the American economy.
Rita Cosby has a great show there at 10 o'clock on weeknights.
One of the most incisive veteran radio journalists in the country.
If you like the offbeat, Frank Morano hosts the Other Side of Midnight.
You can imagine what time that show is.
It's on the other side of midnight, Eastern Time.
First thing in the morning is Sid Rosenberg.
Who really, I think, has his finger on the pulse of New York.
It's also, of course, the home station of America's Mayor, Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
You're going to want to check his show out, not to mention his son, Andrew Giuliani, one of the most promising young political leaders in America today.
The Roger Stone Show, every Sunday from 3 to 5.
Our previous guests have included President Donald Trump, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, General Michael Flynn, country and western superstar John Rich, former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.
If you want to go to the 77 WABC radio app, You can download that right now in the App Store.
That's right, the 77 WABC Radio App and you can listen to all of those past shows.
Coming up this Sunday is country and western superstar, the man who made God bless the USA.
Lee Greenwood joins us.
Florida Congressman Byron Donalds from Florida joins us.
A strong supporter of President Donald Trump.
And Garrett Ziegler from the Marco Polo nonprofit research group, which has done a yeoman's job of documenting and publishing all the results of Hunter Biden's now authenticated laptops.
All of them join us this weekend between 3 and 5.
Now if you live in the greater New York, New Jersey, Connecticut area, well you can just tune in to us at 770 on the AM dial.
But if you're outside that area, it's very easy to find us at wabcradio.com wabcradio.com So Albert of New York City, thank you so much for listening and be sure to tune in this Sunday for Lee Greenwood, Congressman Byron Donalds and Garrett Ziegler of the Marco Polo Research Group.
It's going to be an amazing show.
Let's go back to our questions now.
Dan in Seattle, Washington says, I saw you on Alex Jones' show today.
Sometimes I think that Jones is like a cartoon character.
What is the real Alex Jones like?
That's the thing about Alex Jones.
The Alex Jones you see on the air, well, that's the real Alex Jones.
That's not a character he plays.
He is a patriot.
He is bombastic.
He's funny.
He is a believer.
He is courageous.
And they have tried everything humanly possible to destroy him.
Simply for expressing his First Amendment free speech rights.
Now, I used to do a show there called The War Room, which I co-hosted with Owen Schroyer, another great friend of mine, but I no longer do that show.
And now, The War Room, that show on InfoWars, shows at the same time as this show, The Stone Zone.
Alex Jones is a great guy.
He believes everything he says.
He and I don't agree on everything.
I'm not going to be on my show unless we pre-record it, which occasionally we do.
But Alex Jones is a great guy.
He believes everything he says.
He and I don't agree on everything.
We disagree on a few things.
But by and large, much of what Alex Jones has predicted has come to pass.
So that is the real Alex Jones and you might want to check out today's show.
It was quite good.
Thank you so much for your question.
Stephanie right here in Fort Lauderdale says, I just found out that one of my favorite shows on Real America's Voice, American Sunrise with Karen Turk and Ed Henry has been canceled.
Do you know what happened?
I don't know what happened.
But I have the highest possible regard for Karen Turk and Ed Henry.
Karen Turk is one of the hardest working journalists I have known in my entire life.
She is a woman of enormous pluck and determination.
And Ed Henry is a veteran journalist with superb judgment and discernment.
I don't know where they will pop up next, but I do know that whatever they choose to do, they will be extraordinarily successful.
So, like you, I miss watching that great show, but I have no doubt whatsoever they will return to the internet and to the airwaves soon.
They'll be back soon.
I've been in touch with both of them.
They're in great humor.
I have no inside information about Anthony in Provo, Utah says, I saw you went to the UFC fight in Vegas with President Donald Trump.
What was it like?
Did you get to meet Dana White?
Trump would say, stronger and better than ever before.
Thank you for your question, Stephanie.
Anthony in Provo, Utah says, I saw you went to the UFC fight in Vegas with President Donald Trump.
What was it like?
Did you get to meet Dana White?
What was he like?
I must tell you, this is only the second UFC fight that I've been to.
I went to a much smaller fight in Miami well over a year ago.
The UFC fight that I attended in Las Vegas was really extraordinary.
There were 5,000 fight fans in the stadium.
There were not many people munching on tofu.
There were not many liberals.
There were not many atheists.
It was a red Blooded American crowd.
They went absolutely crazy for President Donald Trump, as they did at an earlier UFC fight in Miami, where I did not accompany the president.
I did have an opportunity to meet Dana White.
He is a fine gentleman.
He's an extraordinary empresario and entrepreneur, and he has brought the UFC to unimagined heights.
I also had the opportunity at the UFC fight to meet Mel Gibson, who was very kind, who commented on the fact that he read my book, The Man Who Killed Kennedy, The Case Against LBJ, which he thought was one of the best The Case Against LBJ, which he thought was one of the best books he's read about the Very kind words from Mel Gibson.
Now, since Mel Gibson made a couple of my favorite films, including Braveheart, The Patriot, and Passion of the Christ, it was a mutual admiration society.
And then President Donald Trump joined us.
We had a brief conversation about the film Sound of Freedom.
Now, Mel Gibson is not the producer of Sound of Freedom, but he is very close friends with both Eduardo Verastegui and with the star of that movie, Jim Caviezel.
And I think he had a sub Rosa role in making sure that powerful film got to the American people and is now beginning to open around the world.
If you have not seen Sound of Freedom, let me recommend it to you.
It's being shown in the AMC theaters near where I live.
This is one of the most powerful pieces of documentary filmmaking I have ever seen.
They have a special buy-it-forward program so if you see the movie you can actually go to a website to buy a ticket for another person who cannot afford To see this powerful film, it rips the veil off the reality of child sex trafficking.
It is outrageous in this country that media outlets like Rolling Stone and the Huffington Post try to pretend that the scourge of child sex trafficking does not exist when it is a $150 billion industry.
So I highly recommend to you Sound of Freedom.
Please take that film in if you have an opportunity.
Let me remind you again at this point that our show and your questions are being answered today only because of the kind patronage of the folks at MyPillow.com specifically of course Mike Lindell.
Please drop by the MyPillow.com website or use promo code STONE or you can dial 1-800 1-800-544-8939.
That's 1-800-544-8939.

If you think that MyPillow is just about pillows or just about bedding, well, that's wrong.
They have apparel, they have footwear, they have bath towels, they have kitchen towels, they have many, many great And when you go to MyPillow.com and you use a promo code STONE, well you help Mrs. Stone and I scrape up the money we need to pay the IRS every single month.
So please go to MyPillow.com and when you do, use promo code STONE.
Let's go back to our questions now.
Anthony, pardon me, George in Claremont, Florida says Special Counsel Jack Smith has said that there are six defendants in the D.C.
indictment.
Five of the six have essentially been identified.
Do you know who defendant number six is?
The answer to your question is no, I do not.
It is described as a political consultant that allowed many to jump to the conclusion that this could be me.
It is most definitely not me.
I was not involved in the efforts to delay the certification of the Electoral College in any way in Washington, D.C.
I'm not an attorney.
I understand that there are attorneys who advised President Trump that that was a legal procedure.
I understand that Vice President Mike Pence wasn't sure and Mike Pence consulted a constitutional lawyer who disagreed and offered an alternative legal opinion.
That means both men acted on the basis of legal advice.
That is in itself an important defense in a matter like this.
Although I don't believe any charge whatsoever should have been brought against President Trump.
Beyond that, I cannot answer your question without strictly speculating.
Alex in Coral Gables, Florida asks, On MSNBC last night, I saw a commentator say that General Michael Flynn has publicly advocated violence, implying that Flynn should be arrested.
Do you have any comment?
That is completely inconsistent with everything I know about General Flynn.
I saw that clip on MSNBC earlier on the Alex Jones Show.
I take extreme exception to it.
General Flynn has never advocated any illegal activity whatsoever.
He is a fine Christian gentleman.
He is a great military leader.
And no, he is not guilty of Russian collusion.
His case like mine were both politically motivated cases.
The government never produced any evidence of Russian collusion or WikiLeaks collaboration against either one of us.
In my case, On November 3rd, 2020, Election Day, the busiest day of the year media-wise, only by the order of a federal judge did the Department of Justice finally disgorge the final long-redacted, long-hidden sections
of Robert Mueller's final report, where even he could not sugarcoat the fact that he had found, quote, no factual basis, close quote, to charge me with Russian collusion, WikiLeaks collaboration, or for that matter, any other crime.
If you think about it, it is impossible to lie under oath about something that never actually happened.
And therefore, if I made any misstatement in my voluntary testimony, to the House Intelligence Committee, it hid no underlying crime, meaning it was immaterial.
I think most people understand at this point that I was charged and the FBI raided my home at 6 o'clock in the morning with 29 heavily armed FBI agents in full SWAT gear brandishing fully automatic M4 assault weapons who arrived in 17 armored vehicles
With a government helicopter overhead and two amphibious units pulling up to the dock behind my house to put on a show for CNN.
I was subsequently heavily pressured to bear false witness against President Donald Trump.
Prosecutors presented my lawyers with a list of 26 telephone calls between myself and candidate Trump during the 2016 campaign, and they sought to induce me to say falsely that those calls had entailed Russian collusion, WikiLeaks collaboration, or some other improper activity.
They did not.
I declined to bear false witness against My friend of 45 years, Donald Trump, and therefore I was to be sent to die in a dank Georgia prison, given a sentence that was a tatamont to a death sentence.
Given the fact that I was at that time, 68 years old with a lifetime history of asthma and the prison facility in Georgia had over 200 unannounced cases.
of COVID-19.
They were not exactly handing out ivermectin.
It is only through my faith in Jesus Christ, my renewed faith in the Lord, and my fervent prayer that I was saved from an ignominious death in that Georgia prison, and I give thanks for that every single and I give thanks for that every single day.
Thank you for your question.
James in St. Louis.
Louis, Missouri says, I heard that your wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
How is she doing?
My wife and I traveled to Orange Park, Florida for the weekend to visit friends.
We had the privilege of going to the Springs Church in Orange Park.
It was a very dynamic evangelical Christian ceremony.
We met many great people.
I'm happy to say that my wife, through the healing power of Jesus Christ, is now two years cancer-free.
Yet another miracle in my life.
But I do want to thank all of those out there In the audience who prayed for her healing, who contributed to the Stone Family Fund to pay for those cancer preventive procedures that are not covered by Medicare and the meager insurance that we have left.
You have been a great comfort and aid to us.
Nothing is more important than your prayers, but I'm happy to say that Mrs. Stone is doing Extraordinarily well and I want to say how much I appreciate your kind question.
Thank you.
Let's see.
Tony in Greenville, South Carolina says, I see you are wearing a seersucker suit and I noticed that your guest yesterday Tyler Nixon was wearing one on the show.
What is the history of this suit and where can I get it?
The seersucker suit is the lightest, most comfortable fabric.
It comes originally from India.
It is based on the word Shakur, which when translated means sugar and spice.
That refers to the stripes in the fabric.
Now, this is a great Southern tradition because the suit is particularly lightweight and it is particularly suited for very warm climate.
You can find them online.
They come in a double-breasted version, which is what I'm wearing right now.
They come in a two-button single-breasted version.
They come in a three-button single-breasted version.
Particularly rare is the three-piece suit, including a seersucker vest, as worn by Gregory Peck, When he portrayed the role of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird.
Why anyone would wear a vest in 100-degree weather is beyond me, but if you've seen that movie, he does look great.
You can find them online.
They're not easy to find, but let me give you a one piece of very solid advice.
If you get a seersucker suit, I strongly recommend cuffs on the pants.
Because the lightness of the fabric needs the cuff to weigh the pant leg down so it hangs properly.
So whether you choose a double-breasted suit or a single-breasted suit in two or three buttons, it is always an elegant and comfortable look.
Always great with a regimental striped tie.
It can certainly be worn in the single-breasted model with a button-down shirt originally known as the polo collar introduced to this country by Brooks Brothers.
It was called originally a polo collar because polo players wore it and the button was designed to hold your collar down while you were galloping on your polo pony down the fairway.
That way the flaps of your collars did not Did not flap in your face, but I strongly recommend any young gentleman who wants to be a well-dressed that you consider the seersucker suit.
They are still available online.
Do a little shopping around.
They're not terribly expensive, but they are ideal for hot weather.
Thank you very much, Tony, who's from Greenville, South Carolina.
Certainly a place Uh, where the seersucker suit would be most welcome.
Going back to our questions now, uh, Jeremy in Brownsville, Texas says, uh, do you think President Trump should participate in the Fox News Republican presidential debate on August 23rd in Milwaukee, Wisconsin?
And if not, why not?
I personally do not think that the president has anything to gain by participating in a Fox debate.
I saw the interview that he gave to Brett Baier and I note that every single question was hostile.
Therefore, the president cannot be guaranteed a neutral moderator.
And when you have a 40-point lead, I would argue you have everything to lose and nothing whatsoever to gain.
As I think Governor Ron DeSantis found out this past weekend at the Iowa State Fair, he is not nearly as well-known as he thinks he is.
He is certainly not nearly as beloved as President Donald Trump, one of the most beloved political figures in American history.
And a man who is much bigger than the Republican Party, but who has really staked out a new Republican Party, the Publican Party of Working People.
Donald Trump's nomination in 2016 was the hostile takeover of the Republican Party, and I think in all honesty that in this upcoming debate, at least, where all of his competitors would presumably be shooting at the frontrunner, he has absolutely nothing whatsoever to gain.
I don't know what he's going to do.
He has not really made that absolutely clear, but when he's ready to tell us, he will.
I've given you my opinion, which is I do not think he should participate in the debate.
Mitch in Rapid City, South Dakota says to me, what is your opinion of the Republican presidential candidacy of Vivek Ramaswamy?
Well, Mr. Ramaswamy is very, very smart in that he has clearly studied polling that shows President Donald Trump is extraordinarily popular at the grassroots of the Republican Party.
And therefore he has fashioned his candidacy around support for President Trump, as opposed to being a harsh critic of the president.
I don't think in the end that Mr. Ramaswamy will be nominated, nor do I think he is the ideal candidate for vice president, but I do think he would be excellent in the upcoming Trump cabinet.
I do have some questions about his background.
I've never met the gentleman.
I'm still studying that question, but so far I must say I'm pretty impressed by his public presentation.
Mitch from Let's see.
Dallas, Texas says one of my friends has a Roger Stone did nothing wrong t-shirt.
I'm jealous.

Let's see, we have about two minutes to go.
Jose in San Antonio, Texas says, any reaction to Joe Biden's response to the horrible tragedy in Hawaii?
This is really shocking to me.
When asked to respond, President Biden said, no comment.
It was President Trump who put out a soothing message in support of the victims in Hawaii.
Of a fire around which there are many, many questions.
So President Trump is essentially playing the role of the president where Joe Biden, I think quite heartlessly, perhaps because he was busy with his Rehoboth Beach vacation, had no comment.
That is most definitely not leadership.
Final question.
Arnold from Miami Beach.
I know you are a protege of President Richard Nixon.
There are many biographies written about him.
Which one do you recommend?
That is easy.
Richard M. Nixon, A Life in Full by Conrad Black.
Sir Conrad Black.
I think is my favorite biography unless you go to RN, the actual memoirs of our 37th president.
With that, we have emptied the grab bag of questions.
I want to thank you for joining us on the Stone Zone today and joining us for this special segment of Ask Stone.
Until tomorrow, God bless you and Godspeed.
