Speaker Time Text
dave rubin
I don't know if the glue that they are putting their eyelashes on is seeping into your brain, but you are an idiot.
You just beheaded that guy?
You're supposed to give head that bahead.
Remember January 6th, that was the day that I had just switched over.
I've been doing eggs with olive oil.
And I switched back to real cutter that morning.
And then I was watching TV and people were freaking out because a few people with a Lego set or something showed up at the Capitol.
unidentified
Uh anyway, let's talk about boner pills for a minute, and then we'll move on the other side.
Sydney Sweeney's bath water here.
dave rubin
That's pretty good.
unidentified
*music*
dave rubin
Yo, I'm Dave Rubin.
This is the Ruben Report.
It is October 8th, 2025.
As you know, next week we go to Australia.
That's right.
DaveRubin.com/slash events.
You can join us in Melbourne, in Sydney, and in Brisbane.
It's gonna be a good time, and I'm looking forward to going down under.
And today I would say this is just a little bit of everything.
Some of the left is wacky, some of the violence stuff, but dash a jihad.
We're gonna jump over to Canada and Japan, even.
We're doing a little bit of everything, and I would say the theme at the end is which way?
I mean, it's a consistent theme we have on this show at this point.
Which way, Western man?
Do you want chaos?
Do you want endless jihad?
Do you want lawless cities?
Do you want gender confusion and all of these things?
Or do you want something that was pretty good that we had for a long time and we seem to just be handing off to all the bad guys?
And we'll have to make a decision on that together, I suppose.
Uh, but let's start uh with this video that was going viral yesterday.
So Eric Trump has a new book out, and actually I interviewed him yesterday.
It will be up on Saturday.
And Eric has a book.
It's called uh Under Siege.
Under Siege, thank you.
I was like, what was that movie with Steven Zegal?
Uh it's called Under Siege, and it's obviously all about his the assault that his family has been under for about 10 years at this point.
They have been just attacked every which way, shot at legally, et cetera, et cetera.
Uh so Eric has a book about it, and he's making the rounds, and he went on Chris Cuomo's show, and uh Chris was let's say um less than fair when it came to uh which way and which side is always being attacked.
It's a little bit of confusion that all these lefties have.
Here you go.
chris cuomo
Do you think that it is fair to say it looks like the administration is going after its political opponents now and doing exactly what you say you oppose.
eric trump
Uh oh, that's that uh what tell me?
Because I mean it seemed very clear to me in in in the congressional testimony, I don't know, just watching it.
I I certainly seem like he lied to me, and I'm also wondering what an FBI director is doing, taking memos from the FBI and leaking them to the New York Times.
I mean, I find it so ironic that you're literally one that's pushing back on the weaponization of government when the very same people that were coming after us, you know, went after your brother, you know, like hounds.
I mean, they they did everything they could to destroy his governorship, they did everything they could to destroy his life.
They did everything they could to destroy you.
I sat in that same seat.
The only difference is my last name wasn't Cuomo.
My last name was Trump.
They were trying to destroy my father, and by doing that, they were trying to destroy me, and they were trying to destroy the Trump organization.
They were trying to try to take all our assets and strip her name off of every building in New York City.
dave rubin
Yeah, that's what they were trying to do.
They were trying to make sure that not only would Trump potentially end up in jail, uh, would potentially end up bankrupt, that his companies would not be able to do business in New York City, the entire Trump family, which basically almost single-handedly built the New York City skyline from the you know 80s on.
None of them live in New York anymore.
None of them do business in New York anymore.
Don Jr. lives down here in Florida.
Eric lives down here in Florida, Ivanka lives down here in Florida.
Trump lives at Mar-Lago down here in Florida.
These were all New York people who were who were helping build a once great city, on top of the, you know, that they tried to shoot him and that they tried to make a giant Russia scandal around the guy and pretend that he didn't actually win the election and he was a Russian stoogent, all of these things.
So Cuomo was a little confused as who the bad guys are there, but then here's where it got hot.
chris cuomo
I'm not playing toy.
I know what happened to me.
Chris, did we say that?
And it was what's happening now looks like what was done to you.
That's why I'm asking the question.
eric trump
Did we raid Biden's home?
You know, did we?
Did we try and bankrupt Biden?
Did they come after us?
Did we weaponize every AG and DA, you know, against Biden?
Do we do that against Hunter Biden, who had a laptop from hell, pictures of cocaine, illicit drug use, prostitution?
You know, did we did we do that?
Did we make up a dirty dossier about Biden?
Did they try and destroy Biden's marriage?
You know, what was any of that true?
I mean, did we make up stories that Biden had secret servers in the basement of his home communicating with the Kremlin in Russia?
You know, did we strip Biden off the ballot of multiple states?
Did we take Biden off of Twitter and Instagram and Facebook and try and silence his voice so he couldn't communicate?
Did we put Biden in a courtroom every single day?
91 felony counts that have all been overturned for my father now, right?
For nonsense to try and keep him off of a campaign trail and to try and destroy his life.
You know, did we do any of that?
dave rubin
Putting Cuomo aside, Eric does a bang up job there because he just kind of lists everything that the machine threw at Trump.
The one that you kind of forget about at this point that now seems even crazier than ever.
Like it's one thing, okay, the Russia, Russia, Russia, okay, they tried to go after him for loans that weren't repaid that were repaid, and they all the business ties, like all that stuff, fine.
The one that we we probably should all be thinking about a little bit more because many of the same people are still in charge of these companies, is that they literally kicked the sitting president off Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, et cetera, et cetera, virtually within 24 hours, all of those sites.
And that was corporate collusion against the sitting president of the United States at the time.
And were there deep state ties to that?
The answer likely is yes, but Trump survives all of that stuff and then becomes president again.
And by the way, it wasn't just Donald Trump and his sons that they were going after.
I mean, look at this comp this uh mashup of headshots.
I mean, these are all Trump people.
They these some of these are lawyers, some of these are associates, obviously you recognize some of the faces there like Rudy, uh, who all were taken in for mugshots and gone after by the former DOJ.
And speaking of the former DOJ, listen to this from the Gateway Pundit.
Uh Joe Biden's FBI and later Jack Smith, who was the special counsel uh for the president, spied on eight Republican senators during the Arctic Frost investigation into January 6th.
Republican senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson earlier this year released new records detailing the FBI and DOJ's sweeping investigation that formed the basis of Jack Smith's DC case against President Trump.
Grassley and Johnson previously blew the lid off another sham investigation orchestrated by Biden's corrupt Department of Justice and compromised FBI.
According to the documents released earlier this year, the FBI and DOJ weaponized their power to target President Trump, former vice president Mike Pence and their allies through a probe dubbed Arctic Frost.
Operate Operation Arctic Frost was a taxpayer-funded witch hunt launched in April 22 that seized government-issued cell phones belonging to Trump and Pence while conducting a barrage of interviews across the country.
Now this, Jack Smith tracked private phone calls of eight GOP senators, and we just mentioned some of those names.
And here's the official document from the FBI, and this includes Mike Kelly, Lindsay Graham, Bill Haggerty, Josh Hawley, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville, Ron Johnson, Cynthia Loomis, and Marsha Blackburn.
So to put this in like the cleanest possible terms, the previous Department of Justice not only largely, if not wholly, fabricated a dossier that then they used and laundered through the mainstream media to take down the first the first Trump presidency, but it was even before that because it was the incoming Trump presidency.
Then they were spying on senators and Trump's colleagues via pr uh private phones at the exact same time.
this is a problem, and if it doesn't get cleaned up, it will continue to happen.
However, we have a new sheriff in town, and Cash Patel is now saying that accountability is finally coming.
kash patel
We found this information to expose the politicization by Jack Smith and the prior Department of Justice.
I mean, just think about it.
Eight sitting United States senators, phone records were gathered and subpoenaed through the grand jury process, and it was buried and wormholed with the hope that no one would find it.
So we're just scratching the surface here, but accountability is coming.
You're darn right I fired those agents.
You're darn right, I blew up CR-15, the public corruption squad that led the weaponization at the W Washington field office.
We're just warming up, but we are running our investigations to the ground.
We are finding every single person involved.
We will not leave a single room uh locked.
We will go in through all the prohibited access requirements, and we will find the material and show the American public, like we have done in this FBI, more transformative and transparent than any in the U.S. history to bring accountability to the American people.
And we were work with our partners in Congress who should be furious at the prior administration's leadership and weaponization and singular politicization of law enforcement.
dave rubin
So there's a couple things here.
First off, on the cell phones of these congressmen and senators, who, as far as I know, were not accused of anything.
Do you want a secretive Department of Justice to be able to spy on our senators and congressmen?
Without particularly without oversight.
Do you want that, especially when it's hyperpartisan, as obviously the Biden DOJ was?
That's one part.
The second part is look, we all go through this, right?
Where it's like, okay, one side comes in, looks at the other side, nothing happens.
We do it the other way, nothing happens.
This, as I've been saying with a few things with his administration, does seem different.
Patel also says there's something that Dan Bangino, who I trust as much as anyone I can trust in all of this space, is always saying, which is this stuff takes time.
Everyone wanted them to walk in there and expose everything overnight.
But the nature of the deep state, the nature of having giant institutions and agencies that you have to go in, as as he pointed out, we just fired a bunch of people.
You have to fire way more people.
I saw Tulsi a couple weeks ago.
She was talking about the people they were firing.
Bonjino's been talking about it.
So you have to reorganize these organizations.
You have to figure out who's on your team, who's against you.
And it you know what reminds me of, right when uh when Elon took over Twitter, and a few weeks later I was called in over there and I had a meeting with him, and he was showing me all the stuff that was going on and all the shadow banning and the entire system and everything else.
And one of the things he said, which I can repeat because he said I could say anything uh that I saw as long as it was true, is that he did not know how many people, even though he had fired about 40% of the workforce basically overnight, he didn't know how many people still worked there that were actively working against him.
And you have to understand that's how it works with the government too, or any institution.
If something's been wholly rotted out and someone comes in to fix it, well, you could fire half the people.
That doesn't mean the remaining half are all good.
You still gotta figure it out.
So there is a big thread that we are pulling right now, and we'll see what happens.
But we do know that the mainstream media will be telling you this is the weaponization weaponization of government the entire time, even though they were on the side of the people who were actually weaponizing government.
Uh, here's a man who masturbated on a Zoom call with colleagues, Jeffrey Tubin, explaining that Jack Smith is just a great guy.
abby phillip
I wonder what you make of this.
I mean, is it was it an overreach on Jack Smith's part?
unidentified
Well, not only wasn't it an overreach, it's not even news.
So it is of course appropriate for him to investigate the time and nature uh, or or at least the the time and the duration of calls with members of Congress.
It's a complete nonstory, except that Jack Smith was doing his job.
dave rubin
Yeah, and listen, Jeffrey Tubin knows about overreach.
If there's one guy on that panel that knows it, how did Abby Smith?
Like, how did you not like smile or laugh or wink at him when you said, Jeffrey Tubin, talk to us about overreach, would you?
Okay.
Uh Adam Schiff, a man who probably should be in jail, a man who basically led the entire Russia hoax across the board for years and years and years.
Uh, well, he's getting it from Pam Bondy.
unidentified
Go.
This is supposed to be an oversight hearing when dozens of prosecutors have been fired simply because they worked on cases investigating the former president.
This is another conference.
This is, excuse me, this is supposed to be an oversight hearing in which members of Congress can get serious answers to serious questions about the case.
Are there riots in LA serious?
About the cover-up of corruption, about the prosecution of the president's enemies.
And I think he was just a piece of work.
dave rubin
It's an oversight hearing about the Justice Department, basically, a cover-up of corruption.
Well, we're trying to uncover the deep, deep corruption that you were part of when you were trying to jail a sitting president of the United States, right?
That's what they are actually looking into.
And of course, look, he's a congressman from Cali, so it doesn't matter if Cali is burning or if there's riots or if they're giving health care to illegals or a meth addict raped a grandma like it's Cali, we just put up with all of that.
But what do they have to do as this stuff gets exposed?
As their corruption gets exposed, as we go into these institutions, fire these people, and then start realizing, boy, there was there was a 10-year witch hunt around Donald Trump, and there were a lot of bad people involved in that.
What do they have to do?
Well, they have to do the one thing that they always do, which is ratchet up the fear around Trump.
Here is Connecticut.
Senator Chris Murphy doing just that.
chris murphy
You can't see the indictment of Comey, the cancellation of Kimmel, the troops in Chicago as different events.
They are all part of the same story.
They are all part of a plan, a well-thought-out plan to try to destroy American democracy and create a new set of rules that will allow Trump and his allies to rule forever.
dave rubin
Hey, at least they're toning down the rhetoric post-Charlie Kirk, right?
I mean, how profoundly absurd.
We'll have more on Comey in just a second, but this guy is deeply corrupt and likely did lie under oath.
That's one part of this.
But we have to connect James Comey with the cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel.
Oh my God, poor Jimmy Kimmel, $16 million a year, had to take a three-day vacation because he said that the person who killed Charlie Kirk was a MAGA supporter.
Oh my God, you can see how horrible that is.
And then what's Donald Trump also doing?
He's sending troops into Chicago so less black people get killed, that freaking Nazi.
You guys are just terrible, and nobody's listening to you anymore.
And here, this just broke about 20 minutes before we started the show today.
James Comey has officially pled not guilty to lying under oath.
bill hemmer
A judge moments ago in a hearing that we did not think would last long, and apparently that is the case, he has entered a plea of not guilty to two charges, federal level now, Now our producers inside the courtroom say the former director accused of lying to Congress, obstructing aggression uh congressional proceeding, uh ended the plea moments ago in front of the judge, Michael Nochmanoff, appointed by Joe Biden, uh not guilty on both federal charges.
He's accused of lying in front of Congress back in 2020.
So that is the update inside the courtroom.
dave rubin
And while that's happening in one of the Okay, so Comey has pled not guilty.
That doesn't surprise us.
The the charge is that he lied to Congress about the Russia-Russia hoax and where everything came from and the dossier and how it all sort of came to be.
I know it's kind of like you have to like look at everything with a giant chart and you start feeling like a crazy person.
But the question is: did Barack Obama, did potentially Hillary Clinton, James Comey, all of these people, did they put something, put a plan together to stop the incoming president?
And then once that didn't quite work, once they were spying on him before he was president, did they concoct a giant Russia hoax around his presidency, which you could argue hampered his presidency, and then you throw in a little bit of COVID, and then we end up where we ended up.
And then magically Joe Biden gets 81 billion votes, which if you look at the way people vote, then subtly that year, the year of COVID, somehow 20 extra million people voted, but you know.
Let's talk about perplexity AI, And then we will have more on how the machine runs cover for all of the bad people.
Let me ask you something.
How much time do you spend every day clicking around on your web browser?
Searching, scrolling, typing, juggling endless tabs.
It adds up fast, right?
Well, there's a new AI powered web browser from Perplexity called Comet, and it's completely changing the way we interact with the internet.
Comet isn't just another browser.
It's like having a personal assistant that lives inside your browser and actually does things for you online.
You can ask Comet to handle tasks, and it literally clicks, types, searches, and scrolls just like you would to get things done in the background while you go about your day.
Comet can shop for you, make reservations, book flights or hotels, summarize articles or videos, send emails, schedule meetings, pay bills, find promo codes, even unsubscribe you from spam.
I tried it myself, and watching Comet actually do things in real time is wild.
It's like seeing the future of web browsing unfold right on your screen.
You can even check out the demo to see Comet in action.
So if you're ready to take back your time online, download comet today at PPLX.ai slash Ruben.
That's PPLX.ai slash Ruben.
And when you download comet right now, you'll get a free month of Rumble Premium.
Try it today and let your browser finally work for you.
All right, so one of the things that allows the Democrats to lie about everything is that they know their lives will be laundered through the system.
So if the Democrats want a story to break, they do an anonymous source that gets to the New York Times.
The New York Times writes a story, it's all completely anonymously sourced, which often just means completely made up, or a source on Capitol Hill told me.
I mean, a basic journalist student back in my day, if you were studying journalism at college, you could never get away with anonymous sources like that.
So there's an entire machine that has been created to launder the lies of the Democrats.
And then you wonder how the DOJ is able to get stories across that suddenly point back to Trump and blah, blah, blah.
You get it.
The other part of this, of course, is that there is a mainstream media version of it, a TV version of it, whether they're doing this through 60 Minutes or they're doing it through NBC News, brought to you by Pfizer, or they're doing it on the Daily Show, which for 20 some odd years they kept telling us more young people get their news from the Daily Show than anywhere else.
And Jon Stewart, as I've said before, in some sense, and I interned there in 1999.
I knew him a little bit.
He sort of, I think you can argue, became the most disappointing of all of the public pundits because he could have been even a sort of younger version.
He's not even that much younger, but he could have been a younger, sort of like I've captured the Zeitgeist Moore version of Bill Maher and stood up for liberalism and the onslaught of the progressives against the liberals.
But he chose to go all in on it.
And here he is on his show last night, talking about ICE zip tying American children and more.
And ironically, as you'll know, never shows pictures of it because it just has never happened.
jon stewart
This went from deporting the worst of the worst to throwing grandmothers onto linoleum and zip tying American children.
And everyone's just supposed to be cool with the new masked, incredibly well-funded paramilitary group, and Democrats are just reduced to petty gestures of restroom resistance.
I've given Democrats an enormous amount of sh for their poor leadership.
Lack of specific and actionable plans, terrible messaging, abysmal wordplay.
Did I mention poor leadership?
But standing up for 75 million Americans in this moment to defend the rights of people to go into a little less medical debt?
Seems like the least they can fing do.
dave rubin
John, um, we run similar shows.
As I've said before, I'd be happy to have a sit-down with you.
We can do it live, totally on edited, your set, my set, Zoom, however you want to do it.
But let me explain something to you.
When you're when you're, and I get it, you have 20 writers that give you all of that information.
But what grandma has been thrown down on the linoleum?
Because you have a box right over here where you show pictures.
And I noted you did not show a picture of a grandma on a floor.
You guys didn't even bother making an AI version of it because that would have been ridiculous.
And what children have been zip tied?
Box right over here.
Why didn't you show a couple you could have showed a little scrolling, Connor?
We have that sort of technology.
You can put pictures in boxes, and it illustrates what I'm saying.
And sometimes if I'm saying something true, it's very easy for them to put a picture right over here.
But notice you didn't do that because you're completely making it up.
And what this leads to is a radicalized Democrat Party that can basically say anything, nobody that puts them in check, and then they just get crazier over the years.
So let's go to our time machine.
We got the 1.21 gigawatts of power.
We got the flux capacitor, and we are gonna go back in time to 1993.
Here is a man by the name of Joe Biden.
And listen to Joe Biden when it's when he's talking about crime.
And this was the modern, this was the moderate Democrat position back in 1993.
And you tell me what this sounds like now.
unidentified
Take back the streets.
It doesn't matter whether or not the person that is accosting your son or daughter, or my son or daughter, my wife, your husband, my mother, your parents.
It doesn't matter whether or not they were deprived as a youth.
It doesn't matter or not whether or not they had no background that enabled them to have to uh become uh uh social uh become socialized into the fabric of society.
It doesn't matter whether or not they're the victims of society.
The end result is they're about to knock my mother on the head with a lead pipe, shoot my sister, beat up my wife, take on my sons.
So I don't want to ask.
What made them do this?
They must be taken off the street.
dave rubin
Yeah, back then Joe Biden didn't want his sister to be hit in the head with the lead pipe, or they're gonna sell my son crack.
That would have been a little on the money, or blah, blah.
But we all know that.
And remember the video we showed you a couple days ago, the Seattle mayor, like, you know, I know there's all these criminals out there, but I don't know, were they molested as kids, or did something happen, or are they just hungry and that's why they had to rape grandma?
It shows you how these people have gone insane.
Joe Biden sounds like a right-wing maniac, leader of the Proud Boys in 1993.
You know what I mean?
He actually just sounds like a normal person.
It does not matter why people commit these crimes, you are not allowed to commit them.
That is the point.
But because the Democrats refused to stand up for liberalism, and then because of what I just illustrated before, that there was nobody to check them.
There should have been.
Marr is the only one, really.
I would say I tried it 10 years ago when I was part of the left, and uh, you know, there's a couple other people, but they had no checks and balances across the way, and the radicals have completely taken over to lead you to a group of retarded people, which is a perfect segue to the view.
Here's Joy Behar explaining that we're not gonna have any more elections because yeah.
unidentified
There is crime in American cities, but the way to deal with it is get the funding that you need for police, get the training that you need, and work with local officials.
This is a pretext to stop the next election.
joy behar
That's what I think it is.
whoopi goldberg
I would say this is this is in order to make the case.
Uh because in their minds, in all of their minds, they now believe they have carte blanche to do whatever they want to.
unidentified
Right.
Yes.
whoopi goldberg
That's what the feeling is.
unidentified
And if they stop us from voting, that's the one thing people have.
whoopi goldberg
I mean, it's the one, it's the one thing that makes us very different from lots of other countries.
Our our votes, they do count.
I do know that they count.
If we can always have well, I think people will figure out how to vote because I don't.
One thing I I believe I know about Americans is they don't want to be told what to do.
They don't want to be, they don't want that.
You know, they don't want it.
dave rubin
You can suggest some as I often say, liberal women are going to be the death of all of us.
What is wrong with these women?
Really, what is wrong with them?
What you're watching up there is you are watching five women who are all multimillionaires, who all have their own security, who all live with great wealth and comfort and all of those things, ginning up crazy people to think that Donald Trump is going to cancel the next election.
We've been through this, we've done this, this is recycled.
It's boring, and yet, for some reason it still is clicking in a certain set of people's brains.
What are you talking about, Joey Behart?
It pains me to make fun of you as much as I do.
You used to pet my dog on the upper west outside of Zabars.
What are you talking about?
We are not going to have elections.
What are you talking about?
Explain it further, but you can't Because it's nonsense.
Also, what's nonsense is that the Democrats want illegals to get health care.
And if you are illegal, you should not be here in the first place.
So you also should not get benefits from the government.
And benefits from the government really just mean your money that the government took to do what it wants with.
Here's Congressman from Ohio, Jim Jordan explaining that rather simple notion to Caitlin Collins on CNN.
jim jordan
If premiums jump, people can't afford it.
They don't have health care.
unidentified
And then the people, the burden on people who are sick and need to cover it to the city.
jim jordan
I tell you what the Democrats want.
The Democrats want health care for people who are non-citizens.
That's driving up health care costs, too.
unidentified
Don't change the subject from the subsidies, though.
jim jordan
No, the subject is you're talking about health care.
And all I know is Maxine Waters said we want health care for illegal immigrants.
But I'm talking about the government.
Every single Democrat presidential candidate in the life.
Back in 2020, they asked him how many of you will support health care for people who are non-citizen for illegal immigrants.
Everyone on stage raised her hands.
Kamala Harris raised her hand, Joe Biden raises his hand.
And who's Putin?
They all raise their hand.
That's what they're for.
That's what they want here in this bill.
unidentified
But that's a you're uh we went through all this with House Speaker Mike Johnson last week, trust me.
jim jordan
But but my point was on the subsidies.
That's their position.
And we're opposed to that position.
We don't think that is, we don't think that's common sense.
We don't think that's good for the country.
We don't we don't think that's the right approach.
What we do think is we can have a debate on what's better for health care, but we don't think extending and expanding Obamacare and giving it to uh illegal migrants is gonna help the subsidies.
How's that gonna help the families I represent to stay on the subsidies?
unidentified
Stay in the subsidies, which I'm talking about.
jim jordan
No, no, how's that gonna help with it?
dave rubin
You're fellows Aitlin, you're not very good at your job.
You ask a question, and then he tries to explain why basically we're in this shutdown, because the Democrats have chosen a radical position.
And he also lays out that yes, in 2019, we've shown you the video several times over the last week and a half.
You know, whatever that was, 12 Democrats all up there raising their hands.
Our health care plans will take care of illegals.
So he calmly is laying out you want to debate about the subsidies or whatever, fine, but you gotta remove that portion first.
Illegals should not have health care.
And by the way, as I pointed out yesterday, if an illegal right this moment, as we are uh live streaming this right this second, if an illegal was hit by a car on the street, he would be taken to the hospital and gotten health care.
100% for sure.
Now, in certain states where we work with ice, so let's say it happened in Florida, let's say it happened a block outside my house, right?
You're gonna get health care 100%.
They don't just leave you out there to die, okay?
And someone's going to pay for it.
Uh but at some point in Florida, the hospital may call a local official or a police maybe went to where the accident was and they're gonna ask for identification, and then our law enforcement in this state of Florida works with ice, so the guy's gonna have to go.
Now, it would be different elsewhere, but you would get health care in either case.
But they just, they just simply don't care about the American people.
They don't care about people who are law-abiding, who are tax paying, and who just want to keep a little bit more of what is theirs.
They don't care about you in that case.
They care about importing more people who will endlessly be on the government teeth, thus vote for them.
We'll talk about the communist takeover of New York City in just a second, but firstly.
Doctors call it weight cycling, and half of Americans experience it.
The pattern's familiar, you lose 10 or so pounds only to gain them right back.
Over time, this back and forth puts tremendous strain on your organs, raising the risk of diabetes, liver damage, heart attack, and stroke.
Most people need help to break the cycle, and that's where lean comes in.
Created by doctors, lean is a non-prescription oral supplement, not a GLP one injectable, and it's science is impressive.
It's carefully studied ingredients are designed to help maintain healthy blood sugar, control appetite and cravings, and burn fat by converting it into energy.
And by burning fat, lean makes it easier to lose weight at a healthy pace and keep it off for good.
If you're ready to stop weight cycling and finally sustain your results, add lean to your diet and exercise routine.

All right, so as you know, Zorhan Mamdami, who is a socialist.
He is a communist, he is a Marxist, he is jihad adjacent.
I think those things are all facts.
He wants giant government takeovers of private enterprise, and he kind of is into jihad.
We'll get into that in just a second.
Uh, here he is promising free rent, free buses, and free child care.
It'll be about 10 billion dollars, but he's a communist, so they can just carry the one and someone else will pay for it.
zohran mamdani
To afford the more than 12% increase in rent stabilized apartments under this mayor Adams administration and struggle to afford what has now grown more than $20,000 a year in child care costs.
And so what we are releasing today is the cost-saved calculator.
Where you can go to Zahron for nyc.com forward slash calculator and see just how much each of these big three items will save you in your lives.
Because when it comes to free buses, each rider will save over $2,000 a year.
That's $1.3 billion a year for all riders.
When it comes to universal child care, we're speaking about $22,200 a year, which together is five and a half billion for every New Yorker across the city.
And when it comes to a rent freeze, we are speaking about 1,750 saved every single year.
And together that amounts to more than 1.7 billion dollars in its first year.
dave rubin
You know, he is such the example of what Reagan said, you know, literally 40 years ago that when socialism comes to America, everyone thinks it's gonna come with a hammer and sickle and it's just gonna come with a smile, and that's exactly what he is.
It's so easy to say these things will be free.
It's so e okay, free buses.
Well, first off, you already have free subways because everyone just jumps the turnstile and now you leave it for the suckers to pay, right?
Because you guys don't arrest anybody.
But it's very easy.
It's free.
Well, okay, do you are you gonna pay the people that drive the trains?
Are you gonna pay the bus drivers?
Are you gonna pay the people uh who have to fix the machinery when it breaks down and everything else?
Where does that money come from?
So nothing is actually free.
When you say it's free health care, okay, does the teacher get paid?
Does the babysitter get paid?
Does the janitor in the building get paid?
Like, does the electrician who keeps the lights on get paid?
So nothing is free.
What you mean by that is you are shifting where the money comes from.
Now, ironically, and we know this is already happening, a huge amount of people who are you who you who are already overtaxed beyond imagination.
They pay New York state tax, New York City tax, they pay federal tax.
If you live in New York City and you are wealthy, and it's not even that wealthy, right?
If you if you have a million bucks in your pocket, which uh yes, 99% of people would love to have that.
But if you have a million bucks in New York City, you're not walking around like, oh my god, I'm uh what was that movie that Russell Brand did, the remake?
I'm I'm not uh not Alfred.
What was his name?
What the Arthur.
Arthur, thank you.
Like you it's not like you're not just in a tux like drinking champagne in a limo, like it's just not like that.
But we know that the wealthy people are leaving en masse.
So the tax base, everything's free except the people who are paying for the free shit, they're leaving.
They're coming down here and building businesses in Florida.
And and also think about, okay, so you have the I you know, I had that special caffeinated drink this morning.
I'm I didn't, we didn't, we ran out of regular ice coffee this morning, and I'm on some sort of uh carbonated something they put me on.
It's working, obviously.
But okay, so put aside, okay, the bus rides are free and the subway is free.
Think about rent freeze.
It sounds good.
We're gonna freeze rents, and everyone, that way you won't pay more in rent.
And it's like, okay, that does sound nice.
Except now pretend you're a builder and you want to come to New York City and build things, and you want to have new innovative ways of building things.
Are you gonna do it in New York City where they're gonna tell you artificially we've decided this is how much you can charge for these apartments?
Oh, and it doesn't matter how much competition there is, really, because the system has set, has baked in the price of these things.
You think the best builders are gonna be like, I'm going to New York and I'm gonna do some really cool shit.
No, of course they're not.
They're where are they gonna come?
Well, you know where they're you know where they're gonna come.
Uh and that is basically where we are at with this ridiculous buffoon.
But it gets worse in New York City because it's not just the communism stuff, which is there and it's on the way, and the fact that Andrew Cuomo is the last firewall that they have to stop this guy is just bananas, but it is what it is.
The other problem is that there are literal jihadists.
There are terrorist supporting maniacs running all over New York City.
So obviously yesterday was the two-year anniversary of 10-7, which, as I keep saying, you don't have to care about the Jews, and you don't have to care about Israel.
But from an American perspective, you might care that 47 Americans were killed.
But here are the jihadists running rampage throughout Hudson Yard in New York City yesterday.
unidentified
*music*
dave rubin
All right, so yelling in Arabic, and they're all dressed up exactly the way the Hamas guys were dressed up on 10-7, and they were Hamas flag, not just the Palestinian flag, which is a state that never existed, designed only to destroy states that do exist.
They had the actual Hamas flag out there as well.
But if you think that, okay, so we've gotten used to that one.
It's like, okay, it's like any other day.
You know, I was going to get a sandwich, and then there were a couple terrorists on the street.
What am I gonna do?
Uh, but if you think that one was just sort of standard fare for what these people are doing, yesterday they got thousands of people outside of Fox News.
So this is the middle of Sixth Avenue.
I go to this building all the time when I'm in New York City.
They take over the street.
So already the city has been defeated.
They literally can just shut down Sixth Avenue whenever they want, and nobody does anything.
And they dress up like terrorists, and yes, they promote terrorism.
Listen to this.
unidentified
We did not act enough.
If we acted enough, we acted enough.
The headline behind me would read liberated.
So our work is not done!
We must show up!
Broker than we did the first October 7th!
Louder than we did the first October seven.
We are not going anywhere.
dave rubin
Okay.
I am caffeinated, and I do want to be sarcastic on Dave.
That's the that's the Dave I like the most.
Uh, we did not act enough.
That's an interesting thing.
We, I don't know exactly who that guy is.
I'm sure people are looking into it right now.
We did not act enough on October 7th.
So you work with Hamas, are you a Hamas member?
Um, our work is not done.
We will be stronger than the first time around.
So kill more people.
And that is happening in New York City, and it ain't going anywhere because New York City is going to do jack shit about it.
And even if by miracle Cuomo became mayor, he would do jack shit.
So if you are sane, you should leave New York City, at least for now.
It is that is just the reality of it.
You know, I think everybody, I think everyone, everyone's sane in America, which is most Americans.
I think people are basically, I think this is the position most people are in.
So it seems like, okay, they're just basically right now, it's kind of like they're just kind of going after the Jews, and it's annoying to get a sandwich because they took over Sixth Avenue.
So the Jews are usually the canary in the coal mine here.
So they're they're kind of freaking out the most, and they'll flee the first.
And they'll also be the first ones to get killed there when the pogrums and they reinstate Kristalnacht in New York.
That's how it will work.
But I think everybody else, it doesn't matter what you are.
You're Italian, you're Irish, you're Japanese, you're Hindu.
It doesn't matter what you are.
You live in New York City, eventually they will come for you.
And if they don't come for you specifically and your family specifically, they will create enough chaos around you that it will not be the New York City that was once the dream of free people all over the place.
But this Zorhan Mandami, he he is as bad a dude as possible, and we are letting him in.
So yesterday, of course, as the second anniversary of October 7th, he put up this statement.
I'm not even going to read the entire thing to you.
So at first he gives a little just like, you know, whatever.
Okay, it was bad, Hamas did a horrific war crime.
And then you can see the bulk of it is he's going after Netanyahu, who he claims that Israel's committing a genocide, which it's not.
He talks about apartheid and all the usual shit.
The occupation and apartheid must much end now must end.
Now, Zorhan, I know you're a liar and you're practicing takia, which is a way that Muslims lie to advance the cause of Islam in Western societies.
But let me explain to other people watching this.
So are you telling me that Israel was practicing apartheid?
Now, first off, there's 57 Muslim nations.
How's it going for Christians, Jews, atheists, Baha'i, Druze, et cetera, et cetera, and all of those places?
Pretty shitty.
Because there are none there.
That's how it's working there.
So if you want to talk about apartheid, you might want to talk about those 57 nations.
But I get it, you're obsessed with the little place called Israel.
That's where some Jews live.
But apartheid, really, apartheid in Gaza.
You know what?
On October 6th, 2023, there was literally not one Jew in Gaza.
There's some Jews there now trying to find their fellow citizens who were buried underneath looking like Holocaust survivors right now.
Um, But there were zero.
So if you think there was apartheid, well, you might be right.
It would be apartheid against Jews, I suppose.
But you're a fucking liar, a fraud, a horrible human being, and good luck, New York.
But it's not just New York.
This thing, this cancer in our society is spreading.
I saw this one going viral yesterday.
I mean, this is utterly insane.
This is from the Muslim American Society, Islamic Center in Philadelphia.
And, well, let's just say, Rocky, where are you when we need you?
unidentified
And, well, let's just say, Rocky, where are you when we need you?
dave rubin
For those of you listening on the audio podcast that are not fluent in the horrific calls for jihad, that was a bunch of kids, probably five to maybe 10 years old calling for jihad, they're gonna flood Alaksamask and blah, blah, blah.
That's in Philadelphia, home of the cheesesteak and Rocky.
What I have here is Bluey to my left and bingo to my right.
Uh and might I recommend instead of for the parents that are sending their children to the jihad camp in Philadelphia, watch Bluey.
It's great.
Keep the Uppy.
It's an Australian show, actually, and I'm very much looking forward to finding out.
Maybe I can visit Bluey's actual home in Australia and all that.
But they go on great adventures, usually with their family.
They do they have wonderful imaginations.
The animation's nice.
It's really joyous, and I think you'd really, really like it.
Interestingly, uh, did you know that Bluey is actually a girl?
I did not know that.
Uh we thought Bluey was a boy, but he's but she's just a girl, not a girl boy or a boy girl or anything.
They're both girls.
We did not know that originally.
It's all good.
Um, and that I would say that is more uh formative uh and better for children than what you're doing.
I should have the kids watch the show.
I just watch it myself, but you know.
Uh anyway, uh but the disease, the disease.
It's look, the Islamists and the jihadists and the Marxists are just using the the nominal lefty moron to usher in all of this stuff.
And speaking of nominal lefty morons, here is former CDC director Rich Besser, and he strikes me as just he's just a liberal.
He's just a progressive.
But what is he really doing?
He's ushering in the shit that will kill us all.
unidentified
Um pediatricians by nature are optimists.
And so, you know, I I come at the world from that perspective.
You know, when you see a child, uh, or you you bring a child into this world, that in and of itself is an optimistic perspective.
Um, when I see young people standing up and saying, no, there's a better way, that gives me optimism.
When I hear people speaking out and saying, not only is diversity, equity, and inclusion not illegal, these are fundamentally American values.
dave rubin
No, you retard.
That's the second retard of the day.
Um, uh, you kind of had it right.
When you bring a child into the world, it is an expression of hope, right?
Like you the idea is that there's a positive future, and that's why you would go out there and bring more life into the universe.
That would that is pretty good, and you're smiling the whole time as you're saying it, you seem like a nice guy.
But then the let you end it with and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
And what are you talking about, sir?
Do you want yeah, you look white to me?
Do you want your children discriminated against and not and have it harder for them to become a doctor like you are because of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
And if you ask that guy that, I wonder what he would say.
Now, I I have met enough of these, and I've debated some of them, and some of them are in my family, where you debate with these people and you say, Well, do you want your own children discriminated against?
And some of them will actually say yes.
Or well, they usually say, well, that's not how it works, that's not how it would happen, and blah, blah, blah, but my child's so special that they'll skate by.
unidentified
No.
dave rubin
Do you want your own children To be discriminated against, and I suppose you do.
And then, of course, the other layer of all of this is that when we send these kids to school, if they don't become Hamas members, they get degrees in pure drivel video.
unidentified
Oh, hi, nice Kayla.
And my concentration is economic inequality in a US in review.
Period.
My concentration is spiritual use.
Hi, my name is LEL, and I concentrated in backstoring side.
Hey, my name is Gabby.
My concentration is called Exploring Colonialism and Sustainable Economic Development.
I'm Alexia, and my concentration is creative as communication, how the arts acts as a language outside of verbal communication.
dave rubin
All right, all right.
I'll hire the black storytelling girl, but the rest of them, free you see why I hire college dropouts or people who won't go there in the first place.
Like, think what the I don't even mean to make fun of these chicks, but see or dudes, whatever they are, but like you see what the system has done to them.
They're th they all look nice, they're well dressed, they've seemingly got means, they've gone to school for useless, utterly useless degrees in things that provide no value.
They're nice things to have as a hobby.
You want to think about black creativity as a hobby?
Great, or use your black creativity to go do something.
But to spend money to learn these things as a degree, as something that you focus on that's going to help you in life is utterly pointless.
And that is why you will all work at Starbucks.
And then unfortunately, you'll burn Starbucks down because one day they just won't you want you to have all of your queer pins next to your Hamas pins and everything else.
But the the almost president of the United States, this woman Kamala Harris, um, she's back out there, and uh she dropped an F-bomb, and people went crazy.
It's all they have left.
It's all they have left.
She said, well go.
unidentified
Because there's so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like they've lost their minds.
When in fact, these motherfuckers.
dave rubin
Oh my God, she's so edgy.
She's so edgy.
Actually, lady, I don't know if you fell out of the coconut tree, but you're the motherfucker in this situation.
Right?
You're the one who cooed the sitting president of the United States.
You're the one who is not you are literally not qualified to run a McDonald's.
And I don't say that to besmirch the good manager at McDonald's.
It's an actual job.
It's an honorable job, and you have to balance the books and you have to manage employees and all of those things.
And I don't think Kamala Harris could do it.
I really don't.
Uh, of course, here she is also claiming that Trump doesn't have a mandate because of how close the election was.
unidentified
And here's the other thing that is quite unprecedented.
And it was the tightest, closest presidential election in the 21st century.
He does not have a mandate.
That is not a mandate.
Amazing!
Thank you.
dave rubin
Well, let me tell you something too, lady, and I can stand up slowly to emphasize it, but I'm attached to the chair with the thing in my ear, so I can't really get up.
But if I could, I would, and it would illustrate the point that everything I'm saying is complete nonsense too.
Because do we have the map?
Tell me how close it was.
That's an awful lot of bread, and Donald Trump got 312 electoral votes.
You only got 226.
And by the way, Donald Trump won every single swing state.
So I know you can stand up and say that thing, and Russia big, Ukraine small, but you're unemployed, lady.

That lady who got up slowly and started yelling, and nothing that is even close to bearing anything near reality.
She is not the president, thankfully.
Donald Trump is the president, and he is fixing an awful lot of things very, very quickly.
Listen to this from Fox Business.
President Donald Trump defended his use of tariffs as a corrective to what he called years of trade imbalance, saying Tuesday that the U.S. had been the king of being screwed by tariffs, but would no longer allow other nations to exploit it.
We're the king of being screwed by tariffs, Trump said during a bilateral meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in the Oval Office.
I'm not talking about with Canada, I'm talking about with other countries all over the world, Trump said, naming China and the 27 member countries of the EU.
They took advantage of our country.
They're not taking advantage of us anymore.
Trump said he would make some deals with Kearney, who is under growing pressure to respond to U.S. duties targeting Canada's steel, auto, and manufacturing sectors.
Tuesday's meeting, Mark Carney's second White House visit in five months.
We want Canada to do great, Trump said, but there's a point where we want the same business, and that's the problem.
So yes.
Trump is just going in and saying, countries, you can't screw us anymore.
We've been screwed.
For some reason we seem to like being screwed, and we wanted, thank you, sir.
May I have another hit me with that paddle one more time?
And Trump is saying no more.
Maybe we're going to hit you with the paddle.
Anyway, here is Kearney, a man who ran wildly against Trude.
Look, he's, as I always said, with this guy, he's basically if we had Justin Trudeau and he was there and he was doing it, he had those socks, then he'd go to mosques and talk about how wonderful everybody is, that all that stuff.
Carney is basically Trudeau, but he's just sort of an average middle-aged guy, but the ideology is basically the same.
But when he came to the White House, he now is acting the bitch because he knows that we, that Canada needs us way more than we need them.
unidentified
Abby, thank you very much.
mark carney
Thank you very much, Mr. President.
If I may, uh you kindly hosted uh me and some of my colleagues a few months ago, and I said at the time uh you were a transformative president.
And since then, uh the transformation in the economy, uh unprecedented commitments of NATO partners uh to defense spending, peace from India, Pakistan through to Azerbaijan, Armenia, uh disabling Iran as a force of terror, uh, and now, and I'm running out of time, but this is uh many respects the most important.
unidentified
Uh, of Canada and the U.S. That wasn't where I was going.
mark carney
I was no, but I, you know, on this uh on this uh solemn day of uh commemoration of the October horrific attacks of October 7th.
unidentified
Yeah.
mark carney
Uh, for the first time in decades, hundreds of years, thousands of years, this prospect of peace that you've made possible.
Canada stands four square behind uh those efforts, and we'll do whatever we can to support you.
donald j trump
Thank you very much.
dave rubin
So you gotta really realize this is a guy who ran wildly against Trump.
Some people in Canada argued that because he Trump was going after him a bit, that's why he became prime minister, meaning that the base was like, we're not gonna take it from Trump, so we're gonna vote for this guy, as opposed to voting for the conservative candidate, meaning we're gonna just go with the lefty because he seems to be fighting Trump the most.
And it was he was sort of like a point of national pride.
All right, whether that's true or not, I don't know.
Um but there he is just laying out all of the good things that Trump is doing because Trump is the leader of the free world.
And when America leads, the rest of the world actually says thank you, and they don't mind paying their fair share, and they're relieved that we are a force for good and all of those things.
Uh here's Trump talking about what held up the U.S.-Canada tariff deal.
donald j trump
He's a nice man, but he could be nasty.
He could be very nasty, maybe as nasty as anybody.
How uh I think I think Canada, let me put it this way, I can tell you this because I deal with lots of leaders all over the world.
Uh he is uh he is a world-class leader.
He's a man that knows what he wants.
And uh I'm not surprised to see that he won the election and won it substantially, and I'm I would think he's more popular now.
He's a good man.
He does a great job, but he's a tough negotiator.
unidentified
So the one what's holding things up?
If he's a great man and you want to do a deal with Canada, why aren't you?
donald j trump
Because I want to be a great man too.
dave rubin
Really, I'm telling you the Trump level up thing is so real, all right.
So he takes a guy who was wildly against him, brings him in, the guy then tells you all the good things that Trump has done.
Then Trump says this guy's a pretty good negotiator.
The question is, well, how come you haven't w why aren't the deals all signed yet?
And Trump, with the joke at the end, is like, well, I'm still the boss man, so we're gonna have to work this shit out because I care about America first, and that is quite good.
So what we are in the midst of right now is watching all of our allies and some of our foes kind of fall back in line, as opposed to just being the endless piggy bank for the world, showing no leadership, giving money to the Iranian regime, all of these things.
We're actually working with allies again.
We're making them pay their fair share.
We're offering them guarantees if they play along with us.
We're not getting screwed on these big deals anymore.
Uh and yesterday on Ben Shapiro's show, Israeli Prime Minister B. B. Netanyahu is on, and he talked about why it is good when the US has allies and when the U.S. leads.
benjamin netanyahu
Well, let me first start with the America first.
That's a natural position.
Would be unnatural to have a different position.
But America first doesn't mean America alone.
Because all countries need allies.
Superpowers need allies.
China is allies.
Russia is allies.
And if you're without allies who maybe who may develop the technologies that are needed for your defense, or the technologies that are needed for your offense or the intelligence to save your lives.
Why forfeit yourself of these allies?
The problem that you've had over the years, the United States, is that you didn't have these allies pulling their weight.
And Israel is an ally, it's a fighting ally that pulls its weight.
Not only that, not only do we fight, we don't ask for Americans to bring boots on the ground, uh, we can we've done the job of defending ourselves pretty well, I'd say, over the last 70 uh seven years.
dave rubin
So that the interview is quite good.
If you haven't seen it, you can check it out on Ben's channel.
And and the overriding point is exactly the point that Trump's always making.
We can figure out how to lead.
We are the superpower, and thank God America's the last superpower.
That doesn't mean we need to be bouncing all over the world and nation building and all of those other things, but it does mean what Trump said when he was in Saudi Arabia.
What was that, about six months ago or so, when he said, listen, we're not here to tell you all how to live.
But if you want to largely get on board the American project, if you want to share in freedom and in and if you want to get into our capitalist markets and have some of the protections of the United States, then work with us.
That's what an ally will do.
Or you can be against us, and it will be up to you.
And what also is happening uh since Trump has been re-elected is that other countries, some of them are falling on the sword.
I would say places like the UK particularly are just going down the wrong path with all of this.
But other countries actually are starting to stand up for themselves.
One country that we don't talk about that often, and it is the place that I have not been in the world that I want to go to more than anything else.
We're already working on it for 26, is Japan.
Uh and Japan has a new prime minister.
Hopefully, I'm gonna pronounce her name correctly.
It's Sani Taka Takahi.
I'm sure I'm butchering it slightly.
Uh, but listen to this information.
This is from Michael Goolsby on Twitter about uh about her.
Japan just elected a ride or die badass prime minister, a biker chicken, heavy metal drummer who rode her Kawasaki out of the 80s and into Japan's highest office.
Forged in chrome grit and fearless courage from the same fire as Trump, the world needs more like her.
Here is video of Sinai Takachi's reaction to the announcement that she will become the Prime Minister of Japan.
unidentified
Therefore, it has been decided that Ms. Sanai Takaichi is the duly elected candidate.
Thank you.
Thank you.
dave rubin
Okay, you might be watching this going, Dave, who who cares?
Okay, Japan is another prime minister.
What uh what's the problem in Japan?
They've got Nintendo, they've got uh, you know, some of their LED lights that look fantastic and all that stuff.
Like, w why are we even talking about Japan?
Well, believe it or not, Japan.
Japan, just like the rest of the world had has had a problem with illegal immigration.
And Sinai Takachi was elected to get rid of the illegal migrants.
Here she is on that.

I intend to thoroughly reconsider from the very beginning how we can effectively build peaceful, harmonious and mutually considerate relationships with individuals from other nations and cultures.
We need to seriously reconsider this particular policy of bringing in year after year large and distinct groups of people whose culture and everything else are so profoundly different from our own.
Those individuals who come here primarily for economic reasons and then falsely claim to be refugees, will be properly and swiftly sent back to their countries of origin.
In addition, those who are staying illegally will also be required to strictly abide by the law.

Isn't that wild?
That is basically almost as if you could take a Donald Trump speech from 2015 in America, and now you can apply it to a 2025 speech from an incoming prime minister of Japan.
And by the way, Japan, like every single nation on earth, has a right to defend its borders, has a right to defend its language and its culture and its customs and everything else.
They don't owe anyone else anything.
And if they want to continue to speak Japanese, if they want to continue to eat sushi and make Nintendo and that guy Jiro, is he still alive making the sushi?
Is Jiro still alive?
unidentified
Yes.
dave rubin
He's still alive.
What's that show?
What was move?
What was the doc?
Jiro loves sushi, everyone loves Jiro, whatever it was called.
The point is, Japan can be Japan, and it can be Japan for Japanese people.
They're saying she is more conservative than previous Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who he was the one that got killed, right?
I mean, I think he was murdered not too long ago.
Uh, but this I thought this was quite interesting from bad hombre on X. All it was took was all it took was 20,000 Africans moving to Japan for them to say, yeah, we're not doing that and elect the most hard-line person they could find on immigration.
So now I'd like to connect this uh to Charlie Kirk, because there was a video I saw this about three weeks ago, and I was waiting for the right moment to fit it into the show because although he is talking about Japan here, and this is obviously before she was just elected, um, I just thought this is this is the perfect explanation of what a nation state is.
So he's speaking about it from a Japanese perspective on a Jap on a trip that he went to to Japan.
Um, but I think this is applicable to every nation on earth.

Japan is a very unique country, and Abdyo might have been the most impressive city I've ever visited.
From how clean it is, from how seriously even the just everyday workers take their job.
The bus drivers wear white gloves, they bow when you go on, they take their little jobs so seriously.
But there is an effort underway in Japan, as there was a big effort underway in Europe and our country to bring in a bunch of foreigners and to say, well, you know, they're Japanese too.
Japan could maybe assimilate 10 Pakistanis or 100 if they didn't take any more right away, but a million, and we know they're not assimilating at that point.
And we saw a little bit, you know, just a little bit in Tokyo, you know, Mohammedan there, Mohammedan here, like that's interesting.
I didn't know I was in Paris.
I I didn't know I was in London.
But the point is this if you do not have a picture of national identity, then you're gonna be in a lot of trouble.
Now, America's picture of national identity is different than Japan's.
Japan is tied to their ethnicity, and that's okay.
It works for them, and it's unbelievably impressive.
We have a different picture of national identity.
We are, of course, a people and also a propositional nation.
We're both.
Japan is something different, though.
And they should be allowed to be different.
Japan is not a propositional nation.
dave rubin
Yes, and that is the perfect explanation of what a nation-state is, and in some cases, like in Japan, it is tied to a specific ethnicity, and those people have the right to keep the borders and their culture as they see fit.
And then, as Charlie describes, we are a propositional nation.
So it's not specifically tied into an ethnicity, but the proposition is that if you come here, if you become a citizen of the United States, that you will buy into, you will fundamentally believe that our founding was good.
You will buy into the protections that our Constitution and our Bill of Rights afford you.
You will look at our Declaration of Independence and realize why it was so transformative the world round and why it's still important to this day.
And then we can have a society where it won't really matter if you happen to be Asian or if you happen to be black or white or Jewish or Muslim or anything else, if we all are buying in on that.
That is the proposition.
The problem is we now have people across our country who are not buying into that proposition like this video we showed you moments ago.
So look, those guys have a proposition It is not the proposition of the founders.
It is not the proposition Charlie was talking about.
It's not the proposition I'm talking about.
It's probably not the one you're talking about.
What are we going to do about that?
That's where I leave you.
