You want an egg, people?
Hello, I'm Dave Rubin.
This is The Rubin Report.
It is April 22nd, 2025.
We are live streaming on Rumble on YouTube.
And on Locals, and I looked at our numbers yesterday.
We're really just crushing across the board.
I appreciate that more than you could possibly imagine.
I thank you for watching, as always.
And if you have not, join us on our Locals channel, rubinreport.locals.com.
You can do that.
It's absolutely free.
You can throw in a couple bucks to join us for the postgame and ask me questions, comment, correct me, nudge me, whatever you want to do.
And we do that every day after the normal show that you're watching right now.
And our theme today, people, is that the Dems are exhausted.
They are out of ideas.
Waking up every day defending criminals, defending jihadists, defending gang members.
I'm starting to think that it is not going to convince the American people to vote for them.
So they are going all in on that.
It's really not working.
We'll have a lot of evidence of that.
And that'll be a little bit to the backdrop of a really interesting interview that Peter Thiel did with Joe Lonsdale.
And the crux of it...
Was that because there's so much craziness right now across the board and because the Dems are so broken and because we actually are fixing things and getting to a little bit of transparency, there's an incredible opportunity, right?
That's what I've been talking about over and over and ending most of the shows with this opportunity to get out of this.
But we have to grab the opportunity.
We have to push new ideas and we'll end the show with just not being intimidated.
The machine will always find ways to try to scare you again and try to cancel you and push you back and all of that.
But if you just do the Jordan Peterson, aim to the star, you may not get to that one, but you'll get somewhere near and it'll be pretty good.
So that is what we are doing today.
And we will start with my, I think this might be my favorite clip of the show.
We're starting with a favorite clip.
Normally you'd put a favorite clip a little further back into the show, but this is just a beauty.
Elizabeth Warren.
Elizabeth Warren, who is a woman who I believe is 164th Native American who said she was Native American to get a job at Harvard.
She also is a...
Communist or socialist or, you know, big government Democrat, pretty much wrong on all the issues.
If we were watching a horror movie, she would be the evil librarian.
There's something very wrong about her.
How much is she worth?
It's somewhere like 20 mil, something like that.
So she's doing okay, but she always wants more of your money to, I don't know, buy some of those pantsuits or whatever she's wearing.
Anyway, she went on a podcast.
It's just another one of these guys, these people who can't maintain a boner, very average, whatever.
But he did do a nice job.
His name is Sam Fragasso, and he asked her about why she was so ardently defending Biden's mental fitness.
And watch this.
unidentified
Do you regret saying that President Biden had a mental acuity?
dave rubin
He had a sharpness to him.
unidentified
You said that up until July of last year.
I said what I believe to be true.
And you think he was as sharp as you?
I said I had not seen decline.
And I hadn't at that point.
You did not see any decline from 2024 Joe Biden to 2021 Joe Biden?
Not when I said that.
You know, the thing is, look, he was sharp.
He was on his feet.
I saw him.
Live event.
I had meetings with him a couple of times.
Senator, on his feet is not praise.
He can speak in sentences, is not praise.
Fair enough.
Fair enough.
dave rubin
All right, Sam, I made funny a little bit.
Okay, fine, your affect.
But you did a nice job right there, right?
Because sitting down with these people and just calling out their bullshit to their face is beautiful.
For her to say...
That he was on his feet.
That's the lowest common denominator.
What are you saying?
He wasn't six feet under?
He wasn't on his back feet first being led out to the hearse?
Is that what you were saying?
But it gets to the reason I'm showing you that clip is it gets to the heart of what the Democrats are doing with everything.
They lie about Everything.
Slow roll the lies about everything.
And then they pretend they had nothing to do with it.
So why is it that before Joe Biden was sworn into office over five years ago, I was talking about what was obviously a problem with his mental acuity, right?
I'm not a doctor and I'm not a wizard.
I know a lot of people think I'm a wizard, but I'm not.
Just a regular guy who watches clips and can ascertain certain things that I see.
But they slow rolled it.
She was supporting him until the machine said, no, no, no, we're getting rid of him because the debate was so bad.
We're now going to support that lady that nobody likes.
And then she supported her.
So good for that guy pushing back.
Now, the reason I wanted to start with that clip.
Is that more and more people, regardless of whether you're a Democrat or Republican or anything else, people just aren't buying that anymore, right?
They're not buying the standard politician lies.
They can see through the thing, right?
It's the looking behind the curtain, and you thought it was the all-powerful Oz, and it turns out to be some washed-up old man.
That's kind of where we are at right now.
And that's the opportunity, right?
That's the opportunity.
So now I want to show you a clip from Peter Thiel on Joe Lonsdale's podcast.
unidentified
I'm the most hopeful I've been about things in a long time.
I think there are some very deep problems that need to be fixed.
I think the opposition is completely exhausted and out of ideas.
And so it's maybe the first time since early Reagan that there's There's really an opportunity to change some things in this country.
dave rubin
I think we really gotta like...
Focus and drill down on that and make people understand that.
You know, I've talked a little bit over the last couple of days about some of the infighting on the right, and there's been a lot of talk about that online right now.
But man, what an incredible opportunity.
We got the president we all wanted.
We're doing the stuff at the border.
We're doing the stuff with international trade.
The Democrats, every day, I mean, we're not even showing one today.
We could have shown it.
Every day on CNN, they're showing you record low...
Approval numbers for the Democrats.
They have no leader.
They've got David Hogg fighting with James Carville, as we talked about yesterday.
There's such an incredible opportunity for just people who love America.
You love America, you're in.
And you have an incredible chance, especially at this precipice we're on.
Of a technological revolution with AI and all these things, it's all right here.
I do have to say, you know, I know Peter pretty well, and he was here, what, about six weeks ago, and I said to him in the interview, if you haven't seen it, you know, let's throw a link to that in the description of the video today, because if you haven't seen that interview with Peter, I said to him, you know, I've interviewed him many times, and we've, you know, broken bread many times, and I had never seen him.
Do an interview where he kind of had that smile on his face.
He usually has a very concerned look.
He's very thoughtful in the way he speaks and pauses a lot and everything else.
And I said to him, I was like, you know, I've never seen you like this before.
And the reason is he acknowledged, this is a guy who's counter all of the ideas.
Like what put Peter Thiel on the map?
Like he's thought of as like, he was the number one contrarian.
In Silicon Valley, right?
He was the first guy that got out of California, got out of San Francisco and all of those things, and moved businesses out.
And then many other people, Elon included.
Elon, who he co-founded PayPal with, eventually came around.
So this guy's been right about a lot of things, but sometimes when you're right and you're early, it's not the happiest thing, because you're the contrarian.
You're the bad guy.
Oh, you're the weirdo.
Now it's like, oh, the world is coming around to the things that he's talked about.
And we should acknowledge that.
And at the same time we're acknowledging that, we should really acknowledge that what he said about the opposition, it is being destroyed in our, it is being destroyed right in front of our faces right now.
So Jamie Raskin, Congressman Jamie Raskin, who's been one of the worst Dems, one of the worst Trump derangement, pro-impeachment, blah, blah, blah.
Here he is being interviewed and he's already...
I mean, this is just insane.
Trump is in power now.
Republicans have the House.
Republicans have the Senate.
They're not looking to jail anybody right now, right?
They're not.
But Jamie Raskin, he's preparing to jail people when they're back in power.
jamie raskin
If and when we come back to power, and we will, we are not going to look kindly upon people who facilitated, to use a word of the day, who facilitated authoritarianism in our country.
dave rubin
Oh, you're not going to look kindly on people who facilitated authoritarianism.
Would you say it would be authoritarian to lock kids out of school and not let people see their grandmothers as they were dying?
I don't know, maybe...
Forcibly inject someone with something that they don't know what's in it, and either do you, and lie to them about what it's going to do to them?
Would that be authoritarian?
And did you do that?
And did you guys decide to not let people go to work, etc., etc.?
So again, that thing that they're doing, it's always a shell game.
They never want to look at what they've done or what they're doing.
They always want you to look over there.
Now I want to show you a clip that brings me a lot of joy.
You know what?
I strike...
I'm already correcting myself.
I'm striking something for the record.
The Elizabeth Warren clip, that was nice.
Watching her just be called out face-to-face on her BS.
But this is the clip of the show.
Bernie Sanders, he's out there.
And he's fighting the oligarchy, and he's screaming about billionaires.
You know he used to scream about millionaires, and then he became a millionaire, so he stopped screaming about millionaires.
Now it's about the billionaires.
But he's out there.
And Bernie, socialist.
Bernie, 30, 40 years in Senate, has never put a major piece of legislation together, has been basically wrong about absolutely everything.
He's a socialist who honeymooned in Russia.
He also is a big supporter of Hamas.
I have no problem saying that.
He supports Hamas.
He does.
Every chance he gets to throw Israel under the bus, he does it.
He is a Jew.
I put air quotes around Jew because I don't know really what makes him a Jew other than he's like a caricature of a Jew, like an old stereotype of a Jew or something.
Okay, fine.
But he has done everything he can to undermine Israel.
Every step of the way since October 7th.
But because his radical base is so out of control, they still are not happy.
He's still not anti-Israel enough.
We could do it right now.
If you just put at Bernie Sanders and Israel and look at the last 50 things he's tweeted about Israel, they are all anti-Israel.
Okay, fine.
So now he's out there giving his speeches, but the jihadists are just still not happy with him because you can never give them enough.
unidentified
Enjoy. Like,
dave rubin
that's great.
Congrats, Bernie.
It's unclear whether they're booing her or they're booing Bernie or whatever, and it doesn't even matter.
You people never knew when the left went too far, and now the inmates are running the asylum, and you have a masked woman making up some bullshit and blaming you, even though, and I really recommend you do it if you're on X, just search Bernie Sanders' name in Israel, look at his last hundred tweets on Israel,
see if there's anything even remotely positive.
So he's given these people everything they want other than nuking Israel, which, by the way, would kill several million Arabs, but they don't really care about that.
And it's still not good enough.
We had a little fun with that clip, so enjoy.
Once again, enjoy.
unidentified
Israel does not have a right to exist!
You don't stand for the Palestinians!
Don't vote it!
We're good, baby!
We're good!
Bye. Bye.
dave rubin
Just perfect.
Just perfect.
Congratulations, Bernie.
That's what you've got.
But again, it illustrates the point.
What ideas do the left have?
Well, you've got the base that's completely crazy.
And then, like, in that room, Bernie's probably the same guy in that room.
And what does that tell you?
Of course, we also have Lady Eyelashes, who is still making up some nonsense about boys beating girls in sports.
unidentified
According to them, the trans kids, they want to play the sports.
Lord have mercy, that is the biggest issue that we had.
Since when?
dave rubin
Since when?
unidentified
Find the little trans child that is ruining your life.
Like, I mean, I'm just like, what are we doing?
dave rubin
You know, I know she's being glib and ridiculous and we've shown you that clip before.
But the point is, again, I mean, that's like the perfect example of the shell game.
No, it wasn't really the trans kid who was ruining our life.
It was the machine that was ruining the trans kid's life, right?
Because there's no such thing as a trans kid.
If you have a six-year-old boy and he suddenly thinks he's a girl, well, then you should be dealing with that properly, not cutting off their genitals, et cetera, et cetera.
And by the way, there was a series of other things that you lunatics did over the last four years that led to Donald Trump being president again.
But as Peter Thiel said, these people don't have any new ideas.
And I was like, well, there's got to be somebody in the Democratic Party has got to have a new idea.
You know what I mean?
We can, okay, fine.
You jihadists want to kill all the Jews.
And Bernie, you want to take out all the billionaires.
And this one wants, and Jasmine wants to, you know, chemically castrate young boys.
Okay, those are old ideas, right?
It's like, can we get, is there any new idea?
So we could push back on Thiel just a little bit.
And then we found Elie Mistal.
And you know this guy, Ali Mastal.
He is a rather large, bulbous fellow with crazy hair.
He looks like a Batman villain.
And here he is with, I would say this is a new idea from the Democrats.
It's very exciting.
elie mystal
I don't give a lot of constitutional weight or heft to laws passed before 1965, right?
Because nobody asked me and nobody asked anybody to look like me.
So why should I care?
What some old white judge and some old white legislature and some old white president decided was right for me.
Living under the laws of the people who kidnapped my people and held us in bondage, that's not something they do anywhere else in the world.
It's not like South Africa said,"Oh, that apartheid was bad, but you know what?
We're just going to clean up some of these laws and now we have..." No!
They were like,"Take your Boer Constitution and put it in the trash.
We will write another one." This time, including everybody.
dave rubin
Yeah, so that's a new idea from the Democrats, which is burn down the Constitution.
I mean, in essence, burn down the country.
By the way, this is a man who thinks he's oppressed.
You cannot be that...
You are fat and oppressed.
Oppressed people are thin.
They're wafy.
They're bony.
There's not a lot of meat on those bones.
You are a fat, bloviating fuck who is not oppressed.
You are on television.
You've eaten your hamburgers all day long and your ice cream and everything else.
You provide no service to this country whatsoever.
You do nothing of value other than want to burn down the freest country.
In the world, while claiming you're oppressed, while you are a fat fuck.
I will revisit this, you fool.
You know what?
We'll give them a three-month window.
Why don't we do this?
We're going to really try to do this.
We're going to give Elie Mistal a three-month grace period.
I've hit him pretty hard on this show.
But listen, Elie, it's crazy to say you're oppressed and that fat, right?
You look at the concentration camps, these people were not putting on weight.
You're not oppressed.
You're just not.
There's no laws against you.
There should be laws maybe that stop you from eating so much Chick-fil-A, but okay, whatever.
We're gonna give you a three-month grace period on this.
Today's April 22nd.
So you know what?
We're gonna do it till September.
We're gonna take off.
Yeah, I'm gonna try to do this.
I'm gonna try.
It's gonna be tough.
We're gonna try to take off videos of you.
And if you lose weight and come back and you're really, really thin, like just get on the Ozempic, blah, blah, blah.
You come back and you look oppressed, then we'll buy into your bullshit.
But until then, although I'm giving him a gift right here by not my...
I scratch all that.
I've completely reversed the entire thing.
We're not doing that.
Now let's go to another Democrat, and here's Eric Adams.
And you know Eric Adams.
We talked about him rather extensively yesterday.
Eric Adams waking up, pushing back against the Democrats.
Still, though, doesn't seem to govern New York in a way that is congruent with that belief, because there's still mayhem on the streets and the jihadists and all that stuff.
But this is just kind of funny.
Eric Adams went to the Dominican Republic and there was a nightclub, there was a shooting at a nightclub there.
So he went to the Dominican Republic to honor the victims, which is an honorable,
First, I just really want to take a pause and talk about the Dominican Republic.
eric adams
I was there this week and just a devastating issue.
Over 200 people died.
100 were injured.
And that's why today in Spanish, I'm saying, God, we trust because that's the time when you need to lean on your face.
dave rubin
All right.
So, in God We Trust, he was wearing, however, a shirt that said it in Italian, Endio Confidiamo.
That is it in Italian.
In Spanish, it's Endios Confidiamo.
But don't take my word for it.
Here's native Spanish speaker, Christy.
unidentified
En Dios confiamos.
Muy bien, muy bien.
Okay, very good.
She getting a lunch today.
I think I just turned into Ricky Ricardo.
Okay, we got a break.
We talked to you about the Association of Mature Citizens and we come back on the other side.
dave rubin
Did you know the AARP has actually promoted Drag Queen Story Hour?
Yeah, they supported Obamacare, opposed the Trump tax cuts, and are completely aligned with the modern progressive machine.
That's why I wanted to introduce you to AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, a principled conservative alternative to AARP.
AMAC is fighting for limited government, election integrity, fiscal responsibility, and yes, protecting Social Security for those who aren't That's 47% off the regular price.
But the deal ends April 30th.
And your dues, they don't go to woke causes.
They go to fighting for your values.
So if you care about individual rights, sane policies, and an America that makes sense again, go to amac.us slash Rubin and join today.
That's amac.us forward slash Rubin.
All right, so the big story, of course, as it relates to the Democrats, is that there was...
An illegal El Salvadorian immigrant in Maryland who was a member of MS-13, whose wife signed a court document saying that she repeatedly was beaten by him, including at least once with a boot.
This man then was sent to El Salvador to be put in a prison, so we sent him home from the place which whence he came.
And now the media and the Democrats are all in on this guy.
If there is something the Democrats love, if there's a criminal or someone that stabs someone or murders someone or rapes someone or beheads a kid, the Democrats love these people.
Here is a small compilation.
I know you guys love this.
Small compilation of the mainstream media referring to Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador who was in MS-13, who beat his wife, but they refer to him as just generic Maryland fan.
unidentified
The Maryland man thought to be wrongly deported.
The Maryland man Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
dave rubin
The Maryland man wrongfully deported.
joe scarborough
The Maryland man who was mistakenly deported.
unidentified
The Maryland man.
That Maryland man that was detained.
The Maryland man mistakenly deported to a prison in El Salvador.
They're not even trying to bring back a Maryland man.
The Maryland man, they shipped to El Salvador.
dave rubin
He's just a Maryland man.
He's not an illegal from El Salvador.
He's just a man from Maryland.
That's it.
They lie.
They lie.
Oh, God.
The curtain.
The guy.
It's a Maryland.
They look behind the curtain.
They say a Maryland man.
Completely absurd.
Maryland man would be, I don't know.
Someone, say, from Maryland.
I'm not even sure if this guy's from Maryland, but Cal Ripken Jr. played an awful lot of baseball games for the Baltimore Orioles.
How many games in a row did he play?
He broke the record.
It was like 1,600?
unidentified
2,632.
dave rubin
Incredible! 2,632 games.
I remember when he broke that record.
In a row, without being injured.
That's over the course of what?
It was like, what is that?
160 games?
162 games a season?
That's like...
16 seasons, the guy didn't miss a game.
That's a Maryland man, even though he wasn't probably from Maryland.
He is more of a Maryland man than the illegal El Salvadorian MS-13 gang member who beat his wife with a boot, then got sent back to El Salvador.
Here's Florida Representative Maxwell Frost from the Orlando area explaining that he tried to meet with Mr. Garcia, but it has been denied.
unidentified
What do you know?
Is there any chance you'll be meeting with Abrego Garcia while you're there?
Well, we're actually about to do a press conference to speak a little bit about this, but we got word at the embassy that our request has been denied by the government here locally.
They say it's because we're not here on an official capacity.
This is part of the reason why Representative Robert Garcia and I sent a letter to Chairman Comer of the Oversight Committee asking for this to be an official CODEL.
But we're not giving up.
We're going to continue.
We have more meetings scheduled for the rest of the day.
But part of this, too, is making sure that we keep the conversation alive.
We're building off of the trip of Senator Van Hollen.
And we're, you know, we're not the first members here and we're not going to be the last.
dave rubin
Poor guy.
Poor guy.
Couldn't go see the illegal El Salvadorian immigrant who was living in Maryland who's now back in El Salvador.
He's a representative, I think, from the Orlando area.
I have a bit of a history with this clown because he's the guy, when I was doing my last show for Don't Burn This Country, the book tour, and I did a show in Orlando with Governor DeSantis, that clown literally stormed the stage and started screaming and had to be removed from the theater.
So he doesn't mind using his free speech to impinge on other people's free speech.
Also, as a representative of Florida...
Shouldn't you be worried about what's going on in Orlando?
I mean, DeSantis did pass Don't Say Gay.
Shouldn't you be over at Disneyland making sure that people can say gay freely and that the trans women are...
unidentified
Here's more from him.
will cain
MS-13 has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization, has it not?
Yes. It has.
Okay. And there is an ordered removal of Arbrego Garcia by the District of Maryland.
District Court for the District of Maryland.
The U.S. District Court wrote, although Arbrego Garcia was found removable, that's the key, the immigration judge granted him a withholding of removal to El Salvador in an order dated October 10th of 2019.
So he was ordered removable.
unidentified
He had a protected status, as you just read.
And if he is to be...
I'm not here to litigate even a very specific person.
I'm here to talk about the fact that he represents a very big problem with this administration, that they have no problem scooping somebody up.
will cain
Congressman, this suggestion of you that you have made on several occasions now, that he is going to deport, that Donald Trump has a desire to deport anyone, homegrown American citizens, is the point of our conversation.
Because the walk that we just went through together is, at least to some measure, an element of due process.
We just established together that Abrago Garcia is a minimum not an American citizen.
He has been removed from the United States by a court order, which was then withheld, to your point, but he was ordered removable.
The same courts found that he was a gang member of MS-13.
MS-13 is a foreign terrorist-designated organization.
dave rubin
Yeah, that's just a bang-up job by Will Kane right there.
Great job, Will.
This is what...
The shell game is about, right?
What was most interesting about what Maxwell Frost said right there was that it's not about this individual guy.
And it's never about this individual guy.
Because if we wanted it to be about this individual guy, it would take a lot of time.
Because, you know, about 15 million illegals came through over four years.
So if we wanted to make it about the individual guy, we wouldn't have much time to do that.
That would basically be impossible.
So these people sat on their hands and said absolutely nothing as we had a foreign invasion through ourselves.
And suddenly they're upset, as Will points out, that a guy who had an order to be removed, who wasn't illegal, is gone.
So make him your martyr.
Keep going, Democrats.
And when that guy, what's his name, Enten on CNN, has to stand in front of the big screen every week and go, the Democrats are at 31, the Democrats are at 29, the Democrats are at 22, the Democrats are at negative six.
Because there are no citizens that will vote for them anymore.
There are only illegals, which might be why you guys want illegals to vote.
Over on the tele...
Oop, I almost did it.
Over on MSNBC 13, Simone Sanders, a woman who was a spokesperson for Bernie Sanders.
When that didn't work out, she became a spokesperson, I believe, for Hillary Clinton maybe as well.
Or definitely was a spokesperson for Kamala.
But she's bounced around, just works for Democrats.
And what happened?
You work for Democrats and then you get a job on MSNBC.
Here she is ramping up some fear that it's after the illegals, once Trump and his thugs and goons get rid of the illegals, well, yes, of course, they're going to take black people.
unidentified
Brought to you by MSNBC 13. If there's an illegal alien criminal out there, we have their back.
I've been talking about this all week, but Janae Nelson of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund...
She penned an op-ed in The Nation this week.
And her op-ed talked about that we think that democracies are...
The way they die is dramatically through these wars and blood is shed.
And it's cinematic in a sense.
But really, the realistic way in which democracies die is that it's dismantled brick by brick, piece by piece.
Because if they could do it to them...
They can snatch students off the street without any pushback or recourse.
They will do it to any of us.
To be very clear, it's going to be the people of color and vulnerable communities that are next in line.
dave rubin
Okay. All right.
They're not snatching students off the street.
They're getting illegals.
People here are on student visas and green cards who are then using their privileged status in America.
Not their legal status, but they got green cards, student visas, etc.
To then, I don't know, overtake buildings, stop kids from getting to campuses.
You know all of that stuff.
Nobody was kicked out of the country for just saying something mean.
Although I think you actually could make an argument, probably, that someone who's here on a student visa or a green card, if they're just in America to go to our universities and scream horrible things and everything else, maybe they shouldn't be at our universities.
I think there's absolutely an argument to be made right there.
By the way, Marco Rubio has made that argument that in their entry exams, in their entry interviews, you know, if you were told, well, I actually do hate America and I hate capitalism and I hate the founding of this country and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
We maybe wouldn't have let you in in the first place, right?
And just think about it any other way.
Imagine if an American 17-year-old student showed up at a university in Shanghai or literally in any other city in any other country of the world and just started screaming about how bad the host country is.
Would they keep him there or would they boot him?
But that's a separate issue from what they're trying to do with the fear right now.
We are basically removing agitators from college campuses who are impinging on others.
Students' free speech rights and ability to go to campus and move freely.
We are kicking out gang members and people who are here illegal, which illegal has the word legal in it, and ill means not, so they've already broken the law in some way.
And now she wants to jump to take her crazy base.
And this is why the thing, you can connect this to the Bernie thing before.
Bernie, who has been for all of the bad things and he has been just for upending America and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
He riled up a base that is now more radical than him.
And in some sense, that's exactly what this woman is doing.
You are trying to make the base more radical than you.
Does Simone Sanders honestly think...
That there are going to be trucks of people who are just going to round up legal citizens because they are black and send them to El Salvador?
Does she, like, maybe, well, maybe she does.
Maybe she does.
I'm changing my mind a lot on this show.
Maybe she is that dumb and far gone and deep in the rabbit hole of lunacy that she does believe that.
So, good luck, Simone.
Anyway, we got more from MSNBC.
unidentified
Brought to you by MSNBC 13. If there's an illegal alien criminal out there, we have their back.
donald j trump
In 2019, Garcia was issued a deportation order.
Two separate judges affirmed Garcia was a member of MS 13, which is a gang that may be even worse.
unidentified
We've been watching President Donald Trump there swearing in the new administrator of the CMS, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, Dr. Mehmet Oz, during this...
dave rubin
That is absolutely incredible.
You saw it, right?
You see why I didn't want to set it up for you guys?
Like, that is incredible.
So you've got Trump explaining, with notes in front of him, which he doesn't have that often, why this guy was kicked out of the country.
And they cut away from it because they don't want their audience to know anything that is true.
So then, actually, you could connect it to the previous clip.
So then, it's like we cut away when Trump tries to explain, or someone from the administration tries to explain why we kicked the guy from El Salvador, when we try to do that.
We're not going to tell you what the truth is.
Thus, you could have Simone Sanders on there like, yeah, they're going to round up legal black people.
And then Michael Steele and the other go, oh, yes, yes, they're coming for all of us.
But note, you guys aren't leaving.
If you really thought it was true, you might be moving to one of your great countries.
You guys like the Nordic countries.
All the socialists like the Nordic countries, which are all white, which is kind of ironic.
Yada, yada, yada.
Anyway, it gets crazier as it pertains to these deportations and what's going on with Tren de Aragua, which is not a good group of people, okay?
Listen to this from Colin Rugg.
New Mexico judge suddenly resigns.
The story is insane.
New Mexico judge suddenly resigns after ICE arrests an alleged Tren de Aragua gang member in his own home.
What a bizarre story.
Law enforcement executed a search on Magistrate Judge Joel Cano's home before arresting 23-year-old Christian Ortega Lopez, who had ties to the Tren de Aragua gang.
According to Breitbart, authorities recovered photos of Ortega Lopez's phone of decapitated and mutilated bodies.
Ortega Lopez illegally entered the country under President Joe Biden's Thru Eagle Pass, Texas.
He was released from a detention facility just days after entering their country due to overcrowding.
He soon met the judge's wife, Nancy Cano, and started doing construction work.
Cano then invited the illegal to live at their house.
Judge Cano was seen in multiple photos and videos with the alleged gang member, including including one where the illegal is handing him a gun.
This, I mean, of all the stories, every day it just gets crazier and we go, I can't get crazier than this.
A judge, first off, this illegal gang member who has pictures of beheadings on his phone gets through the border, right?
They put him in a detention facility, and then because Biden opened up the border, but we had some people in detention facilities, they were overcrowded, so he gets just released.
Think how insane that, in and of itself, just that.
That we opened up the border, then we had some of these detention facilities, and they were so overcrowded, so what would you do with the overcrowding?
You might want to send them back from where they came.
But no, we just decided to send them into America.
And then a judge decides to hire an illegal gang member to do construction work at his house and say, live in my house, and there they are passing around a gun.

How do you write this shit?
dave rubin
Talk about Lumen, then we'll shift topics altogether because they're coming after Pete Hegseth, and it's obviously an op, and I will defend him as he should be defended.

Okay, so the knives are really out for Pete Hegseth right now.
And I want to reiterate one of the things that I said when Trump selected Pete Hegseth, you know, two months ago or whatever it was, which was that there were two things that Hegseth was good at.
Not only did he have the pedigree, his...
History in the army and all those things.
In the military.
But also he was a TV host.
He would be able to get in front of the cameras.
And when the shit hit the fan, he would be able to defend himself.
He would be able to defend the administration.
He just, you know, he looks the part.
He's out there with the soldiers working out.
Like, he's the complete package.
I think this guy is, I keep saying Rubio is the star right now out of the selections.
You know, obviously you can make an argument that it's RFK and you can probably make an argument at Tulsi.
So there's a bunch.
There's a bunch.
I would put them all, you know, give them pretty.
Great grades so far.
Anyway. The machine is really after Hegseth right now.
We've got some info here from the Daily Wire.
The Defense Department and White House and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth himself fired back over an anonymously sourced, surprise, surprise, anonymously sourced New York Times piece claiming that Hegseth had shared highly sensitive military information in a second signal chat that allegedly included his wife,
his brother, and his attorney.
The story comes on the heels of a previous incident in which the Atlantic editors and Chief Jeffrey Goldberg was mistaken.
And an attack on Houthi terrorists was described in some detail before Goldberg went public with both his presence in the group and the contents of the conversation.
National Security Advisor Mike Waltz ultimately took responsibility for Goldberg's accidental inclusion, which may have been linked to his iPhone's algorithm that populates automated contact suggestions.
The second chat group, according to the New York Times, was nicknamed Defense Team Huddle and was accessed via Hegs' personal phone rather than his government.
Citing several anonymous sources, the New York Times stated that the private signal chat had included at least two of three DOD officials who were recently relieved of duty amid an investigation into unauthorized disclosures to the media.
The article offered no evidence suggesting that Hegseth had ever discussed anything of a sensitive nature in the group.
So you understand that people who were just fired are the ones that leaked this to the New York Times?
And why is it that for four years under Joe Biden, there were virtually no leaks?
To the New York Times, but suddenly now things are leaking left and right.
You know, I'm gonna say the exact same thing I said during the first Signal scandal.
Donald Trump, at the end of the day, has to decide what he wants to do with these things.
I did not feel that Donald Trump needed to fire Mike Waltz or Pete Hegseth or anyone for this Goldberg guy getting into that chat.
But that's up to Donald Trump.
Like, if he felt, boy, this was a breach of such obvious, that was so over the top, I'm gonna have to fire somebody.
Then so be it.
And I would say the same thing here.
Again, it's just the same old bullshit.
Anonymous sources.
And his mother and his sister were in the group.
It's just all bullshit.
The reason they hate Hegseth is because he's competent, because America is standing up tall and proud again and exercising strength and using peace through strength.
Yes, we've been bombing the hell out of the Houthis, who are basically pirates that have been stopping trade routes.
And guess what?
Not one American has been killed, and eventually the Houthis will stop doing that, and it will be good.
Anyway, over on the television, oh no, over on MSN, well, you know what, we're not even going to play the thing.
It's Joe Scarborough on that channel that nobody likes, and here he is, and they just want this to be a scandal.
unidentified
The Wall Street Journal editorial board deemed that Whitcoff's presence in Moscow perhaps the most disturbing part of all this.
joe scarborough
Senator, let me read that really quickly.
Whitcoff was receiving these messages on the commercial app while in Moscow.
This is security malpractice and adds to the building perception that Mr. Whitcoff is out of his depth in dealing with world crisis.
dave rubin
Oh, yes.
The growing perception that Whitcoff doesn't know what he's doing.
Look, I'm somewhat ambivalent on Witkoff.
We'll see what happens.
We'll see what happens with Russia, Ukraine.
We'll see what happens with Israel and Hamas and all of those things.
But you can see they just want to drum up a scandal.
Why do they want to get Pete Hegseth out?
Is it because any of these clowns actually think that somehow in the Signal chat it was such a high-level breach that it caused Americans to be unmasked or threatened or murdered or anything else?
I don't know.
What would maybe be a bigger breach is if you just announce out of nowhere that we're leaving Afghanistan and you leave our assets on the ground and, I don't know, say the Taliban gets a whole bunch of planes.
That might be a breach, but nothing he's done here.
And this is the difference now, the reason I want to show you all this.
Trump 2.0, Trump 47, is significantly sharper than Trump 45. This is the type of thing, these signal chat scandals, and these are the types of things that would have tripped them up the first time around.
Because I think Trump sort of thought, if you play with the media a little bit, or if you give the Dems, you give the machine a little bit every now and again, it might back up a little bit.
And that clearly turned out not to be true, right?
The guy was impeached twice.
What Trump 47, the new updated Trump, who's now surrounded by significantly better people, what he has now realized is you do not blink with these people because their intentions are not good and they're only trying to get you to bow and kneel forever.
Here he is defending Hexa.
unidentified
I mean, I hear they're doing that whole thing again.
donald j trump
Here we go again.
Just a waste of time.
He is doing a great job.
Because he's doing a great job.
unidentified
Thank you.
donald j trump
Ask the Hooties how he's doing.
unidentified
Ask the Hooties how much this function adds.
donald j trump
Pete's doing a great job.
Everybody's happy with him.
unidentified
We have the highest recruitment numbers I think they've had in 28 years.
donald j trump
No, he's doing a great job.
It's just fake news.
It just brings up stories.
I guess it sounds like disgruntled employees.
unidentified
You know, he was put there to get rid of a lot of bad people, and that's what he's doing.
donald j trump
So you don't always have friends when you do it.
dave rubin
So first off, the easy part, just as always, the contrast between Joe Biden standing in front of media, which they largely hid him from, and he would wander over and would mumble through things, and there's Trump answering tough questions.
Fully backing his guy.
I think that the response to say, well, ask the Houthis how he's doing as we're bombing the shit out of them.
Like, that's kind of the right thing to do.
And also that the broader point that Hegseth was brought in to get wokeness out of the military, to get recruitment back up.
Trump's right.
It's the best it's been in about three decades.
He's doing all of the things right, and that's why they don't like him.
And I'll now show you on the same day, that was Easter Sunday, obviously.
Here's Hegseth defending himself.
And this will illustrate the second part.
Not just that he's qualified.
But he understands the media component of this game.
unidentified
You know, what a big surprise that a bunch of, a few leakers get fired and suddenly a bunch of hit pieces come out from the same media that peddled the Russia hoax.
Won't give back their Pulitzers.
They got Pulitzers for a bunch of lies.
Pulitzers for a bunch of lies and on hoaxes time and time and time again.
And as they peddle those lies, no one ever calls them on it.
See, this is what the media does.
pete hegseth
They take anonymous sources from disgruntled former employees and then they try to slash and burn people and ruin their reputations.
Not going to work with me because we're changing the Defense Department, putting the Pentagon back in the hands of warfighters, and anonymous smears from disgruntled former employees on old news doesn't matter.
dave rubin
Yeah. It's right.
It's right.
And that illustrates the point that I was trying to tell you about.
He can communicate this stuff.
So people who have recently been fired because he's doing exactly what Trump said he was going to do, which was clean up the Department of Defense, right?
Clean up our military.
Get those recruitment numbers back up.
People that are fired now that somehow anonymous sources again to the New York Times, have we not been through this enough?
With Russia, Russia, Russia, with very fine people, with all of the hooks, anonymous, it's always anonymous people, anonymous, anonymous, anonymous.
Like, stop buying their bullshit.
This is how the machine always wins.
And fortunately, as I just said, I think Trump 47 really realizes that, and Pete realizes it, and a bunch of the others realize it, including RFK, who we're gonna talk about in a moment, but first, Rumble Premium.
Free speech is under attack, but Rumble refuses to back down.
We've always believed in empowering voices, no matter how unpopular, and now we're taking that fight to the next level.
When major advertisers conspired to pull their dollars, even brands like Dunkin' Donuts turned their backs.
But we're not here to fit a mold.
We're here to defend free expression.
To strengthen this mission, we're excited to offer Rumble Premium, a completely ad-free experience with exclusive benefits for viewers and creators.
You'll find exclusive content from creators like Russell Brand, Dr. All right,
so another one of those...
All-star level picks that Trump made, obviously, was RFK Jr., a man who only a year and a half ago was a Democrat running for president against Donald Trump.
Well, we've got some info here from Mario Nafal.
RFK Jr. drops autism truth bomb media melts down.
HHS Secretary RFK Jr. said the quiet part out loud.
Autism rates are rising and families of severely affected kids deserve answers and compensation.
He pointed to the 25% with severe nonverbal autism who may never live independently, date or write a poem, and critics immediately screamed ableism.
But RFK Jr. isn't backing down.
He's demanding the media stops pretending and starts investigating what's behind the surge.
The outrage machine is spinning, but for once, someone in D.C. is actually saying what parents are living, and that's from USA Today.
So, you know, we played a clip a couple days ago.
Where RFK basically came out and said, we want to figure out what, well, he's been saying this for a while, but the clip the other day, he said, we want to figure out what's going on with autism.
Are there environmental factors?
Is there a vaccine schedule issue?
Et cetera, et cetera.
And then he brought up a point that then caused all of these people to melt down and cry out ableism.
He basically said, you know, some of these people would, and I read off the entire list, would never be able to hold a job, pay taxes, blah, blah, blah.
The pay taxes part sounded nice, but the point is that there are then young people who grow into adults that cannot function.
And then I think I read yesterday that something like, I think it's just something like an 80% divorce rate in parents that have a severely autistic child because the stresses become too much.
The financial burden becomes too much.
That is not a condemnation on the kid that has autism.
Bobby is trying to do the right thing.
Why are these rates surging?
Why would we not wanna know the answer to that question?
But suddenly the media started framing it like he's attacking autistic kids.
He wasn't attacking autistic kids.
He was trying to ask why they are autistic to maybe stop future cases of that so that families don't have to go through all of this stuff.
But you know how the machine operates a little bit more for Mario.
Autism rates surge 400% in two days.
This is from Statista.
U.S. autism diagnoses have risen dramatically from 1 in 150 children in 2000 to 1 in 36 in 2020.
The unprecedented increase raises questions about environmental and diagnostic factors.
Centers for Disease Control.
The prevalence of autism among U.S. children has risen significantly in recent years.
The surge coincides with improved screening methods and awareness through experts, though experts say the full explanation for the 400% increase remains complex and not fully understood.
Okay, so there's a couple things here.
The definition of autism has widened.
There are new social pressures on young people.
There's anxiety, there's medications, the fact that everyone's growing up on the phone and then social conditioning becomes different and they have trouble in basic...
So there's all sorts of things, but it's worth asking what happened here.
Does it have anything to do with the fact that we are giving way more vaccines than we used to, and we give them in a very truncated period of time, right?
Like, does it have something to do with that?
All he's doing is asking so that we can figure this out.
But now the usual suspects are all out with the knives to take out RFK.
Now, you may remember Dr. Peter Hotez.
We've played a couple clips of him over the years.
He was one of the main pushers of the COVID vaccine and the lockdowns and all of these things.
He multiple times went on Rogan at the height of COVID to push a lot of that stuff.
Turned out to be wrong on most of it, and Rogan eventually turned on him.
We'll have more on that in a moment.
But here he is now going after RFK, again, for just trying to figure out why so many kids.
How did we go from, what did I just say, 1 in 200 to something like 1 in 36?
How did that happen?
Well, Hotez doesn't want Bobby to ask.
unidentified
I will say, in regard to Dr. Marks' letter, you know, that sounds about right, that Mr. Kennedy seems to have this fixed belief that vaccines do bad things to kids, and he's absolutely wrong.
I mean, we have this extraordinary vaccine ecosystem that's led to the elimination of multiple childhood infections, including hip meningitis and measles and many others.
And now I'm really concerned that he...
He is so fixed on these false links between vaccines and autism and other things that this is going to jeopardize our entire vaccine ecosystem.
dave rubin
No, he's not fixed on it.
If what you're saying there is true, Peter Hotez, if all of these vaccines cause no problem, then what is the connection?
To the rates of autism that are increasing.
I don't know the answer.
I'm not the expert.
I would defer to experts on this.
And there should be, how do you get to scientific consensus?
You debate these things.
Did we not just do this during COVID?
We can't just listen to the people who just tell us things and then all turn out to be wrong and somehow nobody ever gets fired or anything else.
So this Hotez guy is a complete...
I don't know how to describe him any other way.
So here he is.
Now, again, Rogan had him on multiple times because he wears a white jacket, so he looks very like a doctor that should be on television.
So Rogan had him on many times during COVID.
And then at some point, Rogan started, I think, seeing through it just a little bit.
Take a look.
joe rogan
Do you take care of your immune system in other ways?
Do you take probiotics?
Are you cautious about your diet?
unidentified
I'm not as cautious about my diet as I...
Should be.
I'm a junk foodaholic, actually.
joe rogan
Well, that seems like a terrible thing for your health.
unidentified
It is a terrible thing for my health and something my wife is working on.
joe rogan
But that seems ridiculous for someone who works with health.
unidentified
Yeah, yeah.
joe rogan
What's going on with you, man?
unidentified
Sometimes, man, I just don't get it right.
I have to concede that's the case.
joe rogan
Well, I mean, I don't have to tell you, but there's a large body of data that connects poor diet to a host of diseases.
That seems like a crazy decision for a guy in your line of work.
unidentified
There you go.
Sometimes it's not all brain.
It's something else.
You still need your vaccines.
joe rogan
I'm sure you do, but vaccines aren't going to prevent cancer.
unidentified
No, that's true.
joe rogan
There's a lot of diseases.
unidentified
Or diabetes or cardiovascular disease.
dave rubin
Yeah, dude.
With your little smile there, and your teeth look like they're rotting, too, because you're probably drinking too much soda.
Like, so why should we listen?
So this is a guy who's in public health, and he seems to think that vaccines are the thing that will save you from everything, although at the end he admits that they won't save you from certain diseases, but doesn't seemingly do the minimal stuff.
He has a problem with junk food, clearly.
I mean, he's fat, and he seems to be giggling about it.
Like, we should just think about this.
Just think about this.
And that's, by the way, that is also in very stark contrast.
You want to grab, we can grab one in a second.
Give me one of those pictures of shirtless JFK, like, lifting a bunch of shit, and then compare it to the other guy.
It's like, Bobby's just trying to figure it out, but at least his life is congruent with his beliefs.
But you can see the machine again, and they tried to do this to stop Bobby's confirmation in the first place, but you can see the machine right now just going all in on that.
He somehow is going to cause more kids to have autism or something like that.
Here's Dr. Paul Ofit on that.
unidentified
So now he is of the belief that once you're born, that there are environmental toxins that are somehow affecting that, for which he has no evidence.
He's just making it up.
And I think that when he sort of over-dramatizes this, you know, that they'll never pay taxes, that they'll never love again.
I mean, I don't know if you ever saw that two year series Love on the Spectrum that was a reality show, but they can love again.
So I'm not sure why he dramatizes it the way he does.
dave rubin
It's so evil what they're doing.
He isn't saying that every single person with autism will never love or will never be in a relationship.
But we know that the extreme cases, and everyone probably has some version of this either in your friend or family, like somewhere in your circle, a young kid who seemingly is fine.
And then is destroying the house or is attacking the parents.
There's so many versions of this.
Why would you be so dismissive of that?
And even if...
Okay, there was a show, Love on the Spectrum.
That's really great.
But if we could start asking the questions to figure out why these people were on the spectrum in the first place...
Perhaps. Perhaps.
I don't know.
But perhaps it has something to do with the vaccine schedule or something to do with what we're doing to our children.
Again, coupled with all the other social components of all of these things.
Wouldn't you want to know?
But why are you guys pushing back on this?
And we have a picture.
Here's Bobby.
So it's like choose your fighter, right?
Like choose your fighter.
Who do you want in the battle of health?
You want Bobby Kennedy.
Right there, right?
Or do you want the guy whose teeth are rotting, who's telling you he can't control his impulses as it pertains to eating?
It's Bobby Kennedy, right?
But thankfully, because things are changing, and Donald Trump is hiring these competent people, right?
We've got Marco, we've got Pete, we've got Tulsi, we've got Bobby.
We've got Dr. Oz, who was standing behind him in the video we showed you a moment ago.
And now in charge of NIH, I'm so thrilled about this, is Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, who I consider a friend, I've had on the show many times, and who I've often credited.
One of the reasons I did not go crazy...
You know, by two weeks to stop the spread, okay, we were all doing some weird shit.
But one of the reasons I did not go completely into La La Land during COVID was because I repeatedly had Jay on throughout the show.
And Jay just kind of calmed me down.
Well, Jay, who was then basically called a heretic and kicked out of the scientific community, he is now the head of NIH.
And here he is talking about how we need more communication, more discussion around science to actually ascertain what is true.
dr jay bhattacharya
The idea that we can have a culture where authority determines what's true and false in science is the very antithesis of science.
And unfortunately, during the pandemic, the Biden administration used its power to essentially silence and suppress the voices of countless numbers of scientists on social media and other settings.
I want to change that, and President Trump wants to change that.
Secretary Kennedy wants to change that.
What has to happen is that if they're dissenting scientific views, people who disagree with me, they should have the say.
And we should be encouraging a culture where scientists can talk to each other without fear of reprisals, without fear of suppression, and without fear of censorship.
That is going to be a major priority of mine to use the sort of the influence of the NIH to make that happen.
dave rubin
Not only does Jay Bhattacharya say that stuff, he lives that stuff.
You can go back and maybe tomorrow we can play some of the clips, but he Over the course of the COVID situation and then post-COVID, I had him on the show multiple times, one-on-one.
And then there were several times where I had him on with another guest where they disagreed about certain things.
I think we had him on at least one time with Brett Weinstein, where they disagreed on certain things as it pertained to COVID and everything else.
And they did it respectfully.
And that is what it is all about.
That is how you get closer to the truth.
You don't get closer to the truth by saying, vaccines all work.
There's no connection to any of the other numbers that we're seeing.
We're seeing it explode as it relates to autism or whatever.
But again, the more deranged part of this is what they are trying to do to RFK.
Do you think that RFK somehow wants to be dismissive of people?
He's being an ableist.
There are some people on the spectrum who find love.
He's such a mean guy.
He hates people with autism.
No, he's trying to figure out why they have autism in the first place.
And here he is now sort of reiterating what Jay just said there as it pertains to censorship, especially in the realm of science.
robert f kennedy-jr
I just, I don't feel at home with people who believe in censorship.
I think it's disqualifying.
It's antithetical and inconsistent with democracy.
And we had Hillary Clinton yesterday making this extraordinary
that endorsing the censorship of speech in our country.
We have Kamala Harris saying that free speech is a privilege.
It's not a right.
And Tim Walts saying the same thing.
And I think that that is disqualifying for anybody who wants to be President of the United
dave rubin
Right. So we should have more debate.
We should have more discussion.
And I think we can relate this to something that we talked about on the show yesterday.
You know, there was this...
A blowout on the internet for the last couple days as it pertained to Douglas Murray going on Joe Rogan's show and then Douglas on Bill Maher, and what level we should pay attention to experts.
And Douglass's argument was that people who have been to places who are experts in certain things or historians or whatever should get a little more cred, perhaps, than just the average person who's just listening to people and then regurgitating things.
But that doesn't make them the end-all authority.
What you don't want to do, and I would largely agree with that, but what I would add to clean it up as much as possible, whether you're talking about history or whether you're talking about science or anything else, is that...
What you don't want to do is censor people.
Someone wants to babble their incoherent nonsense, fine.
If you're then a host of a show, whether you're Joe Rogan or me or anyone else, you can decide whether you want to put that on or put a counterpoint or whatever, right?
Like, that's just reality.
You, as a private individual, can decide whether you're going to sit with your friend who's going to tell you that, you know, we never went to the moon and there's a filament above the planet and it's going to stop the rockets from going.
You can do all of those things.
That's just fine.
What you don't want is the government coming in to stop people from speaking.
And that, in essence, is what we had during COVID, right?
We had the government working with social media to make sure that if you posted certain things, like when I said in January of 21 that mandates were coming, and then Twitter literally took down my tweet, and Jim Jordan, congressman from Ohio, got the docks, and it turns out that was the government working with Twitter,
violating my First Amendment rights.
That's what you don't want.
You want these people to debate, and then, look, we all have to decide, and this is the great challenge of where we are at right now, as the mainstream media.
Destroyed itself.
It burned itself down with Trump derangement syndrome and COVID.
As it did that, and people are tuning out in droves, and as I said yesterday, as the alt media is ascendant, and more and more people tune into shows like this, I feel, and I can only speak for myself, I feel I have a responsibility to tell you the truth.
It does not mean I'm gonna never get things wrong.
I definitely am.
But I'm gonna tell you what I think.
I will do it forthrightly and let the chips fall where they may.
I would try not to bring on people that were propagandists and liars and everything else.
Is it possible that I'm going to be duped sometimes?
Absolutely. But the point is you want more of those discussions, not less of them.
Because at this point, the people who just...
If the expert class...
And then I'll move on.
If the expert class...
Had really been doing the job that they were supposed to do, which is the job that Jay laid out before.
If they had really been debating these things and looking for the truth and everything else, then I think we'd all feel a little more comfortable trusting them.
But you can't trust an expert class that...
Literally made things up, like social distancing and masks that didn't work and injections that did not stop you from getting nor transmitting COVID, etc., etc.
Now I'll connect this to one other thing as it relates to the sort of political rejiggering of everything right now.
We're going to jump over to CNN and we've got Scott Jennings, so you know what's coming in just a second.
We're going to throw you the bumper.
And he's talking about...
How Bill Maher should have talked to Donald Trump because we've got to stop people from making sure that nobody can talk to anyone else because otherwise we're going to basically kill each other.
His co-panelists were not thrilled.
scott jennings
The message of this is not to...
Because Bill Maher, first of all, I totally agree.
He's totally in the right to do it.
And I loved his monologue.
Even though I disagree with most everything he believes politically, he was right to do this and he was right to speak out about it.
But this isn't about that dinner.
It's about the next one.
Because this is the modern left.
It's an attempt always to intimidate people into not ever doing it again.
It's to silence yourselves or we'll do it for you.
That's the purpose of this op-ed.
So that the next comedian or the next person on the American left chooses not to speak to Donald Trump.
This is all an effort to get people...
Not to do what you just said, which is to talk to each other in our political.
dave rubin
You can see that lady just like, oh no, you shouldn't talk to each other.
I probably should have set that up slightly differently.
That was to the backdrop of an op-ed that Larry David, Larry David, comedy legend, Larry David of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which we literally played you the Bernie thing before.
It's the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme song.
So someone that's influenced me a lot.
Someone who I've laughed at a lot over the years.
He was the co-creator of Seinfeld, the greatest sitcom of all time.
He wrote an op-ed in the New York Times yesterday titled, My Dinner with Adolf.
And the entire thing basically was going after Bill Maher for sitting down with Trump.
And of course, Adolf, Adolf Hitler.
So thus, Trump is Hitler.
And it's like, Larry David, man, how disappointing.
This is one of those things where...
You know, I've never met him, but it's like, don't meet your heroes.
Can you separate the art from the artist kind of thing?
Because Larry David, who for years and years of Curb, you know, which was, I think, on for 14 seasons.
How many seasons was Curb?
Could you check?
I think it was something like that.
At least a dozen seasons, right?
And it was pretty bad the last couple of years.
But it had a decade, an incredible 12 seasons.
It had a decade great run.
Every caricature that he put in Curb of a Jew was the worst sort of negative stereotype he could.
But Jews are able to laugh.
Laugh at things, right?
That's a lot of pain, a lot of murder, a lot of death, and then you kind of laugh and you eat about it.
That's the story of the Jews.
He was able to do that the entire time, and perhaps, perhaps, yet he hasn't said a word post-October 7th, and yet here he is accusing Donald Trump of being Hitler, and Bill Maher now in cahoots with him for sitting down.
Anyway, the point of all of this, I think it got a little messy at the end, but I think you see the point.
The point of all of this is we've got to figure out ways to continue talking to each other.
You don't have to be totally deferential to the expert class, but you do have to be willing to question them, and you have to be able to think things through and everything else.
That is what we will continue to try to do on this program.
I thank you for watching.
We've got a post-game show where you can question and criticize me in just moments, Ruben.
See you tomorrow.
