| I'm starting to think that it is not going to convince the American people to vote for them. | ||
| So they are going all in on that. | ||
| It's really not working. | ||
| We'll have a lot of evidence of that. | ||
| And that'll be a little bit to the backdrop of a really interesting interview that Peter Thiel did with Joe Lonsdale. | ||
| And the crux of it... | ||
| Was that because there's so much craziness right now across the board and because the Dems are so broken and because we actually are fixing things and getting to a little bit of transparency, there's an incredible opportunity, right? | ||
| That's what I've been talking about over and over and ending most of the shows with this opportunity to get out of this. | ||
| But we have to grab the opportunity. | ||
| We have to push new ideas and we'll end the show with just not being intimidated. | ||
| The machine will always find ways to try to scare you again and try to cancel you and push you back and all of that. | ||
| But if you just do the Jordan Peterson, aim to the star, you may not get to that one, but you'll get somewhere near and it'll be pretty good. | ||

| So she's doing okay, but she always wants more of your money to, I don't know, buy some of those pantsuits or whatever she's wearing. | ||

| It's just another one of these guys, these people who can't maintain a boner, very average, whatever. | ||
| But he did do a nice job. | ||
| His name is Sam Fragasso, and he asked her about why she was so ardently defending Biden's mental fitness. | ||

| So why is it that before Joe Biden was sworn into office over five years ago, I was talking about what was obviously a problem with his mental acuity, right? | ||

| I know a lot of people think I'm a wizard, but I'm not. | ||
| Just a regular guy who watches clips and can ascertain certain things that I see. | ||
| But they slow rolled it. | ||
| She was supporting him until the machine said, no, no, no, we're getting rid of him because the debate was so bad. | ||
| We're now going to support that lady that nobody likes. | ||
| And then she supported her. | ||
| So good for that guy pushing back. | ||
| Now, the reason I wanted to start with that clip. | ||
| Is that more and more people, regardless of whether you're a Democrat or Republican or anything else, people just aren't buying that anymore, right? | ||
| They're not buying the standard politician lies. | ||
| They can see through the thing, right? | ||
| It's the looking behind the curtain, and you thought it was the all-powerful Oz, and it turns out to be some washed-up old man. | ||
| That's kind of where we are at right now. | ||
| And that's the opportunity, right? | ||

| I think there are some very deep problems that need to be fixed. | ||
| I think the opposition is completely exhausted and out of ideas. | ||
| And so it's maybe the first time since early Reagan that there's There's really an opportunity to change some things in this country. | ||

| Focus and drill down on that and make people understand that. | ||
| You know, I've talked a little bit over the last couple of days about some of the infighting on the right, and there's been a lot of talk about that online right now. | ||
| But man, what an incredible opportunity. | ||
| We got the president we all wanted. | ||
| We're doing the stuff at the border. | ||
| We're doing the stuff with international trade. | ||
| The Democrats, every day, I mean, we're not even showing one today. | ||
| We could have shown it. | ||
| Every day on CNN, they're showing you record low... | ||
| Approval numbers for the Democrats. | ||
| They have no leader. | ||
| They've got David Hogg fighting with James Carville, as we talked about yesterday. | ||
| There's such an incredible opportunity for just people who love America. | ||
| You love America, you're in. | ||
| And you have an incredible chance, especially at this precipice we're on. | ||
| Of a technological revolution with AI and all these things, it's all right here. | ||
| I do have to say, you know, I know Peter pretty well, and he was here, what, about six weeks ago, and I said to him in the interview, if you haven't seen it, you know, let's throw a link to that in the description of the video today, because if you haven't seen that interview with Peter, I said to him, you know, I've interviewed him many times, and we've, you know, broken bread many times, and I had never seen him. | ||
| Do an interview where he kind of had that smile on his face. | ||
| He usually has a very concerned look. | ||
| He's very thoughtful in the way he speaks and pauses a lot and everything else. | ||
| And I said to him, I was like, you know, I've never seen you like this before. | ||
| And the reason is he acknowledged, this is a guy who's counter all of the ideas. | ||
| Like what put Peter Thiel on the map? | ||
| Like he's thought of as like, he was the number one contrarian. | ||
| In Silicon Valley, right? | ||
| He was the first guy that got out of California, got out of San Francisco and all of those things, and moved businesses out. | ||
| And then many other people, Elon included. | ||
| Elon, who he co-founded PayPal with, eventually came around. | ||
| So this guy's been right about a lot of things, but sometimes when you're right and you're early, it's not the happiest thing, because you're the contrarian. | ||
| You're the bad guy. | ||
| Oh, you're the weirdo. | ||
| Now it's like, oh, the world is coming around to the things that he's talked about. | ||
| And we should acknowledge that. | ||
| And at the same time we're acknowledging that, we should really acknowledge that what he said about the opposition, it is being destroyed in our, it is being destroyed right in front of our faces right now. | ||
| So Jamie Raskin, Congressman Jamie Raskin, who's been one of the worst Dems, one of the worst Trump derangement, pro-impeachment, blah, blah, blah. | ||

| Republicans have the House. | ||
| Republicans have the Senate. | ||
| They're not looking to jail anybody right now, right? | ||

| If and when we come back to power, and we will, we are not going to look kindly upon people who facilitated, to use a word of the day, who facilitated authoritarianism in our country. | ||

| Would you say it would be authoritarian to lock kids out of school and not let people see their grandmothers as they were dying? | ||

| He has been removed from the United States by a court order, which was then withheld, to your point, but he was ordered removable. | ||

So now he is of the belief that once you're born, that there are environmental toxins that are somehow affecting that, for which he has no evidence. | |

| And I think that when he sort of over-dramatizes this, you know, that they'll never pay taxes, that they'll never love again. | ||
| I mean, I don't know if you ever saw that two year series Love on the Spectrum that was a reality show, but they can love again. | ||
| So I'm not sure why he dramatizes it the way he does. | ||
| It's so evil what they're doing. | ||
| He isn't saying that every single person with autism will never love or will never be in a relationship. | ||
| But we know that the extreme cases, and everyone probably has some version of this either in your friend or family, like somewhere in your circle, a young kid who seemingly is fine. | ||
| And then is destroying the house or is attacking the parents. | ||
| There's so many versions of this. | ||
| Why would you be so dismissive of that? | ||

| But if we could start asking the questions to figure out why these people were on the spectrum in the first place... | ||

| We've got Dr. Oz, who was standing behind him in the video we showed you a moment ago. | ||
| And now in charge of NIH, I'm so thrilled about this, is Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, who I consider a friend, I've had on the show many times, and who I've often credited. | ||
| One of the reasons I did not go crazy... | ||
| You know, by two weeks to stop the spread, okay, we were all doing some weird shit. | ||
| But one of the reasons I did not go completely into La La Land during COVID was because I repeatedly had Jay on throughout the show. | ||
| And Jay just kind of calmed me down. | ||
| Well, Jay, who was then basically called a heretic and kicked out of the scientific community, he is now the head of NIH. | ||
| And here he is talking about how we need more communication, more discussion around science to actually ascertain what is true. | ||
| The idea that we can have a culture where authority determines what's true and false in science is the very antithesis of science. | ||
| And unfortunately, during the pandemic, the Biden administration used its power to essentially silence and suppress the voices of countless numbers of scientists on social media and other settings. | ||
| I want to change that, and President Trump wants to change that. | ||
| Secretary Kennedy wants to change that. | ||
| What has to happen is that if they're dissenting scientific views, people who disagree with me, they should have the say. | ||
| And we should be encouraging a culture where scientists can talk to each other without fear of reprisals, without fear of suppression, and without fear of censorship. | ||
| That is going to be a major priority of mine to use the sort of the influence of the NIH to make that happen. | ||
| Not only does Jay Bhattacharya say that stuff, he lives that stuff. | ||
| You can go back and maybe tomorrow we can play some of the clips, but he Over the course of the COVID situation and then post-COVID, I had him on the show multiple times, one-on-one. | ||
| And then there were several times where I had him on with another guest where they disagreed about certain things. | ||
| I think we had him on at least one time with Brett Weinstein, where they disagreed on certain things as it pertained to COVID and everything else. | ||
| And they did it respectfully. | ||
| And that is what it is all about. | ||
| That is how you get closer to the truth. | ||
| You don't get closer to the truth by saying, vaccines all work. | ||
| There's no connection to any of the other numbers that we're seeing. | ||
| We're seeing it explode as it relates to autism or whatever. | ||
| But again, the more deranged part of this is what they are trying to do to RFK. | ||
| Do you think that RFK somehow wants to be dismissive of people? | ||
| He's being an ableist. | ||
| There are some people on the spectrum who find love. | ||
| He's such a mean guy. | ||
| He hates people with autism. | ||
| No, he's trying to figure out why they have autism in the first place. | ||
| And here he is now sort of reiterating what Jay just said there as it pertains to censorship, especially in the realm of science. | ||
| I just, I don't feel at home with people who believe in censorship. | ||
| I think it's disqualifying. | ||
| It's antithetical and inconsistent with democracy. | ||
| And we had Hillary Clinton yesterday making this extraordinary | ||
| that endorsing the censorship of speech in our country. | ||
| We have Kamala Harris saying that free speech is a privilege. | ||
| It's not a right. | ||
| And Tim Walts saying the same thing. | ||
| And I think that that is disqualifying for anybody who wants to be President of the United | ||
| Right. So we should have more debate. | ||
| We should have more discussion. | ||
| And I think we can relate this to something that we talked about on the show yesterday. | ||
| You know, there was this... | ||
| A blowout on the internet for the last couple days as it pertained to Douglas Murray going on Joe Rogan's show and then Douglas on Bill Maher, and what level we should pay attention to experts. | ||
| And Douglass's argument was that people who have been to places who are experts in certain things or historians or whatever should get a little more cred, perhaps, than just the average person who's just listening to people and then regurgitating things. | ||
| But that doesn't make them the end-all authority. | ||
| What you don't want to do, and I would largely agree with that, but what I would add to clean it up as much as possible, whether you're talking about history or whether you're talking about science or anything else, is that... | ||
| What you don't want to do is censor people. | ||
| Someone wants to babble their incoherent nonsense, fine. | ||
| If you're then a host of a show, whether you're Joe Rogan or me or anyone else, you can decide whether you want to put that on or put a counterpoint or whatever, right? | ||
| Like, that's just reality. | ||
| You, as a private individual, can decide whether you're going to sit with your friend who's going to tell you that, you know, we never went to the moon and there's a filament above the planet and it's going to stop the rockets from going. | ||
| You can do all of those things. | ||
| That's just fine. | ||
| What you don't want is the government coming in to stop people from speaking. | ||
| And that, in essence, is what we had during COVID, right? | ||
| We had the government working with social media to make sure that if you posted certain things, like when I said in January of 21 that mandates were coming, and then Twitter literally took down my tweet, and Jim Jordan, congressman from Ohio, got the docks, and it turns out that was the government working with Twitter, | ||
| violating my First Amendment rights. | ||
| That's what you don't want. | ||
| You want these people to debate, and then, look, we all have to decide, and this is the great challenge of where we are at right now, as the mainstream media. | ||
| Destroyed itself. | ||
| It burned itself down with Trump derangement syndrome and COVID. | ||
| As it did that, and people are tuning out in droves, and as I said yesterday, as the alt media is ascendant, and more and more people tune into shows like this, I feel, and I can only speak for myself, I feel I have a responsibility to tell you the truth. | ||
| It does not mean I'm gonna never get things wrong. | ||
| I definitely am. | ||
| But I'm gonna tell you what I think. | ||
| I will do it forthrightly and let the chips fall where they may. | ||
| I would try not to bring on people that were propagandists and liars and everything else. | ||
| Is it possible that I'm going to be duped sometimes? | ||
| Absolutely. But the point is you want more of those discussions, not less of them. | ||

| If they had really been debating these things and looking for the truth and everything else, then I think we'd all feel a little more comfortable trusting them. | ||
| But you can't trust an expert class that... | ||
| Literally made things up, like social distancing and masks that didn't work and injections that did not stop you from getting nor transmitting COVID, etc., etc. | ||
| Now I'll connect this to one other thing as it relates to the sort of political rejiggering of everything right now. | ||

| How Bill Maher should have talked to Donald Trump because we've got to stop people from making sure that nobody can talk to anyone else because otherwise we're going to basically kill each other. | ||

| Because Bill Maher, first of all, I totally agree. | ||
| He's totally in the right to do it. | ||
| And I loved his monologue. | ||
| Even though I disagree with most everything he believes politically, he was right to do this and he was right to speak out about it. | ||
| But this isn't about that dinner. | ||
| It's about the next one. | ||
| Because this is the modern left. | ||
| It's an attempt always to intimidate people into not ever doing it again. | ||
| It's to silence yourselves or we'll do it for you. | ||
| That's the purpose of this op-ed. | ||
| So that the next comedian or the next person on the American left chooses not to speak to Donald Trump. | ||
| This is all an effort to get people... | ||
| Not to do what you just said, which is to talk to each other in our political. | ||
| You can see that lady just like, oh no, you shouldn't talk to each other. | ||

| That was to the backdrop of an op-ed that Larry David, Larry David, comedy legend, Larry David of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which we literally played you the Bernie thing before. | ||
| It's the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme song. | ||
| So someone that's influenced me a lot. | ||
| Someone who I've laughed at a lot over the years. | ||
| He was the co-creator of Seinfeld, the greatest sitcom of all time. | ||
| He wrote an op-ed in the New York Times yesterday titled, My Dinner with Adolf. | ||
| And the entire thing basically was going after Bill Maher for sitting down with Trump. | ||
| And of course, Adolf, Adolf Hitler. | ||
| So thus, Trump is Hitler. | ||
| And it's like, Larry David, man, how disappointing. | ||
| This is one of those things where... | ||
| You know, I've never met him, but it's like, don't meet your heroes. | ||
| Can you separate the art from the artist kind of thing? | ||
| Because Larry David, who for years and years of Curb, you know, which was, I think, on for 14 seasons. | ||
| How many seasons was Curb? | ||
| Could you check? | ||
| I think it was something like that. | ||
| At least a dozen seasons, right? | ||
| And it was pretty bad the last couple of years. | ||
| But it had a decade, an incredible 12 seasons. | ||
| It had a decade great run. | ||
| Every caricature that he put in Curb of a Jew was the worst sort of negative stereotype he could. | ||
| But Jews are able to laugh. | ||
| Laugh at things, right? | ||
| That's a lot of pain, a lot of murder, a lot of death, and then you kind of laugh and you eat about it. | ||
| That's the story of the Jews. | ||
| He was able to do that the entire time, and perhaps, perhaps, yet he hasn't said a word post-October 7th, and yet here he is accusing Donald Trump of being Hitler, and Bill Maher now in cahoots with him for sitting down. | ||
| Anyway, the point of all of this, I think it got a little messy at the end, but I think you see the point. | ||
| The point of all of this is we've got to figure out ways to continue talking to each other. | ||
| You don't have to be totally deferential to the expert class, but you do have to be willing to question them, and you have to be able to think things through and everything else. | ||
