Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
So I'm sitting here minding my own business, harassing and bothering no one, diligently preparing for the annual Thanksgiving program here on the EIB network.
And I noticed that I received an email.
It's an email from Mr. Snerdley.
Subject line says, I'm sure you've already seen this a zillion times by now, but just in case.
And I had not seen what he had sent me.
And this is just literally two minutes before the program began.
Greetings, my friends.
Great to have you.
Telephone number if you want to be on the program is 800-282-2882.
Email address is L Rushbow at EIB net.us.
And it is our annual Thanksgiving program where the truth of Thanksgiving, the actual Thanksgiving story once again will be shared with everybody, as written about in my first book, uh the way things ought to be.
Or maybe it was the second book.
See, I told you so.
Either one, I forget, I forget which.
It's just so many years ago now.
But speaking of books.
Seven books now totally have been written.
We just released the fifth book in the Rush Revere Time Travel Adventures with Exceptional American series yesterday.
Just hit the shelves yesterday.
The email from Mr. Snerdley was a web link from our old buddy Jim Hofft at Gateway Pundit.
Rush Limbaugh Children's Books Banned at Wisconsin School.
Said to be inappropriate.
School officials in Marshall, Wisconsin.
Folks, I w I I mean, I've got to address this because it I just do.
I had no idea this was happening.
Uh we guessed it was going to happen with the first book, but instead we won an award.
We won an award for the first book.
2013 Author of the Year.
At the Children's Choice Book Awards, we won an award for the first book.
Went there personally to accept it at their annual children's book, children's choice book awards evening in New York City.
So what this is, school officials in Marshall, Wisconsin told a six-year-old boy that he could not bring his Rush Limbaugh books to school.
The officials at the school claim that Rush Limbaugh's books contained, quote, inappropriate material, unquote.
Gateway pundit accurately reports that we've published several award-winning kids' books on U.S. history.
The school claims the history books are inappropriate.
Another website, the Badger Pundit, reported Wisconsin school officials who are bullying a six-year-old boy.
His offense bringing to school the latest book in the best-selling children's book series in American history, Adventures of Rush Revere, written by Rush Limbaugh with his wife Catherine.
The book just published is Rush Revere in the Presidency, as Matt, the boy's father, explained to a local radio host named Vicky on her program on November 18th.
It's in Madison is where all this is.
School officials in Marshall, Wisconsin, regard anything written by Rush Limbaugh as inappropriate material, even though the series has received rave reviews, which it has.
These books are a departure from politics.
There isn't any politics in these books by design and on purpose.
These books are devoted to teaching the truth of American history, and that's probably what's deemed to be inappropriate.
What's deemed to be inappropriate by these obvious cranks at the Marshall, Wisconsin School District is the accurate portrayal of American history.
Look around at what's going on in America right now and what people knew was going on and why the election results ended up being what they were.
Real news is labeled fake news now.
Award-winning children's books banned.
Police Are assassinated, another cop was shot, this one in Detroit.
Health care has become all but unaffordable.
The Democrat candidate for the White House was selling access to her office as Secretary of State and future considerations as president had she won.
Political opponents are targeted and attacked by the Obama IRS.
Immigration laws are not being enforced.
Black Lives Matter was invited and praised at the White House.
A dirty trickster by the name of Robert Kramer, the wife of a Congresswoman from Illinois, who was hiring protesters and paying them $1,500 a week to show up and disrupt Trump rallies, met with President Obama 47 times at the White House.
CNN was feeding debate questions to the Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton.
And children's books written by me are ending up banned, at least in this little burgh, Marshall, Wisconsin, as inappropriate.
Let me tell you what this book is.
And you tell me if this book is inappropriate and fraught with danger.
The whole purpose of the Rush Limbaugh Time Travel Adventures with Exceptional American series is designed to counter what is being taught, obviously, in places like Marshall, Wisconsin.
These books tell the glorious, joyous truth of the founding of the greatest nation on earth, the United States of America, a genuine miracle, a God-blessed miracle.
For the first time in human history, people came together and organized a nation wherein the limits were placed on the government, not the people.
The Constitution and other founding documents specifically limited the power of the government.
It was the first time in human history where a nation had been so organized.
The first president of this country was George Washington, who was the commanding general in the Revolutionary War.
The latest Rush Revere book is all about Washington and his presidency and how it came to be and his thoughts on it.
And what the temptations were to accept the offered kingship, the monarchy.
There were people that loved Washington so much they wanted him to be king.
The natural tendency of human beings is to grant authority to an all-powerful place in exchange for security and safety, particularly if you agree with that.
But the morality of George Washington said after we have just fought years and years of battles and a war to free ourselves from the tyranny of a king.
The last thing we're going to have in our new country is a king, and he refused to accept it.
He ran for president.
He was elected.
The Rush Revere Time Travel Adventures with Exceptional American series takes young people actually via the time travel capabilities of one of the characters.
Liberty, the talking horse, is able to time travel anywhere in American history.
Rush Revere is a substitute teacher at a place called Menchester Middle School.
Liberty's his horse.
They take students from Revere's class back in time and actually relive the events in American history we choose to write about.
It's a great vehicle because it takes the reader there.
It puts the reader actually in the middle of each of the events rather than just reciting the events.
The reader, the young reader reading the books, is obviously able to relate to and understand because it's written as though it is just now happening, even though it's quite obvious it's time travel back in time to American history.
And the point is to teach the truth of the founding of this great country because it's not being taught properly, way too many places.
Obviously, in Marshall, Wisconsin, it's one of those places.
There's nothing inappropriate in these books.
There's no political partisanship whatsoever in these books.
You won't even find the word liberal conservative Democrat Republican.
You won't find the words except as political parties in the day were named, but you won't find any connection to modern day American politics In these books on American history, because that's not the point.
The point is to try to help parents today who don't like the way their kids are being educated, provide a foundational understanding of the American founding on which to build as their children continue to be educated and go through school.
And we do it in a fun way, and we do it in a way to make it interesting and engaging and involving to young people.
We had a pre-order record for the fifth book in this.
This is the fifth book in three years.
They are labors of love.
We spend a lot of time getting the history right.
We we do the illustrations, we do the layout, we double and triple check the history.
We don't, we don't delve into this in ways that would be undecipherable, indecible, or confusing to somebody that's between eight and twelve years old.
They're obviously written for that age group, and that is a bit of a challenge too, to be able to make sure that the books are considered interesting and intriguing, and more importantly understandable by the age that we have chosen here.
But when I say children's books, they're not really children's books, they're hard-bound books for young people, and their parents and grandparents are reading books with these kids, and they report to us that they are learning things they didn't know because of the way American history has been taught.
And we're extremely proud of these books.
In this book, particularly, talking about the presidency and George Washington, the way we did this in this book, there's a one of the students at Manchester Middle wants to be school class president.
But he wants to be president for all the wrong reasons.
He wants to be hip, he wants to be popular, he wants everybody to notice him and think how cool he is.
And revere, that would be me, clearly sees that this is unhealthy and not the reason anybody should want to be class president.
There have to be real reasons you would want to lead other people.
And we thought, you know, how many young people are not in the big click, and how many people want to be hip, and how many people want to be cool, and and vast majority of kids are not in those cliques.
And so that's who we write the book for.
To show them what's really important.
And when leading or engaging with other people, particularly if you want to lead them, what really is important about that.
It's not a popularity contest.
So we decided that the best way to do this would be to take this young student via Liberty's ability to time travel back and talk to George Washington about his campaign for the presidency and why he wanted to do it and what it meant to him and what were his fears, what were his desires, what were his objectives.
And slowly but surely during the course of the book, our young student matures and realizes the really important major step he's taking by wanting to be school class president.
And there, I don't want to give the book away.
He has opponents in the book, and we didn't know it, but we actually end up having a Donna Brazil type character in the book while she was doing what she was doing.
We were writing the book, we had no idea she was doing it, but it worked out.
But it's uh it's a great read.
It's it's uh highly entertaining and instructive at the same time, and we're so proud of it.
And I guarantee you, these people at Marshall, Wisconsin not even read it.
They wouldn't take the time to read it.
The school district people there.
All they are doing is seeing my name and then attaching the word inappropriate, and they are the bullies.
This is classic of the way the American left operates.
They claim they're the open ones.
They claim they are the understanding ones.
They claim they are the ones with all the tolerance for a wide variety of views and opinions, and they're not.
They are not open, they are not tolerant, they are not understanding.
They are bullies and they are cowards, and they are afraid, viscerally, literally afraid of any point of view that they don't ascribe to.
And rather than consider it, and rather than throw any view they disagree with open for debate, they shut it down.
They eliminate or try to all opposing views, but there isn't a political view in the Rush Revere, Time Travel Adventures with exceptional American series.
By definition, we wanted everybody to be able to enjoy these books, and we were trying to get past this silly leftist fear that there are things politically in it that would scare them or frighten them and make them want to hide the book or burn the book or ban the book.
None of that.
This is just the truth of the American founding, because we believe it's a miracle, and we believe that it was blessed by God.
And we believe that it is important for every American to understand how exceptional this country is and they are.
What is American exception?
The real definition of American exceptionalism.
I'm sure that people in Marshall, Wisconsin probably think that American exceptionalism and people who believe in it, they believe we think people we're better than other people.
And that's not what American exceptionalism is.
The true definition of American exceptionalism is America as found it is the exception to the way human beings lived on this planet prior to America.
Most people never knew freedom.
Most people lived under tyranny and in bondage.
Most people lived in poverty.
They certainly lived in fear of the people who governed them or led them.
The United States of America was the first nation in the history of humanity to reverse that, to limit the power of government, to limit the size of government, to decree that the people who lived in America had the constitutionally documented God-given rights of life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness,
that these rights came from God, not from another human being.
And that the rights were inalienable, meaning they could not be taken away by a tyrant, by a dictator, or by anybody else.
We were born.
It is part of our nature to be free, to seek happiness and liberty.
And to have these truths enshrined in our founding documents was the exception for every human being who had yet lived on this planet.
That's what American exceptionalism is.
And that exception, the freedom and the liberty of people who lived in America to pursue their dreams and be the best they could be, is what gave us and what ended up creating the greatest nation ever.
The people made it happen, not their government, not their leaders, not their presidents, not their secretaries of state, not their vice presidents, not the political parties, the people of this country using their God-given rights of liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness, created the greatest nation on earth with the highest standard of living of any people who had ever lived.
This is no longer taught.
The truth of America is buried.
Instead, America's taught as a racist, homophobic, and bigoted nation that was created for a select few.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
So I guess the school district at Marshall, Wisconsin, finds the actual truth of this country to be inappropriate because there's nothing else in these books that is.
Every American needs to read these books, particularly every child, so that they will have an insurance policy against the kind of ill education they're getting in places like Marshall, Wisconsin.
See, folks, if you have time, I know you've got a lot of recommendations on uh websites to visit.
But if you want to see pictures of happy kids reading the latest copy of Rush Revere and the presidency, if you want to see pictures of families and kids excited when the books are delivered, the families take pictures of the kids opening the boxes.
The book comes in.
We uh we posted a couple pictures today.
A young young boy is reading his book at the dinner table at home.
And his parents are thrilled, and they wanted us to see the picture.
People from all over America for the past years, months have been sending us photos of their kids dressing up as the characters in these books.
They want us to see the impact the books are having.
You won't find anything more wholesome and more decent and more America than what we have on display for you, because it's simply the American people reacting to the books and living them through their children.
You can see them at RushRevere.com and readers can post, send us pictures.
We love to get them and post them there.
We have a revere Facebook page as well.
That reminds me, my Facebook page made the news here about something unrelated to this that I've got to address to hang on, be right back.
Snurdly thinks I didn't get the title of the book out there enough.
Rush Revere and the Presidency.
Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims.
Russia's five of them, folks.
Got the whole set.
Your children will love them.
And by the way, the Facebook address.
If you want to see some of the greatest family pictures of people enjoying these books and their kids dressing up as characters, it is Facebook.com slash rush revere.
Just go there.
I didn't intend to.
I was going to mention the book in in a you know casual uh way today.
There's a lot of other things to do out here today, and as you know, I don't spend a lot of time promoting myself on this program.
Uh to the chagrin of many who think I should spend more time, but this I I couldn't let this go by.
This is my first book came out back in 1990, whatever it was, too, uh, the way things ought to be.
Go to bookstores in New York and find it upside down in a cooking section.
Or in the back in the stock room, not even uh having been brought out for sale when you ask for it.
Oh, we know we have that book.
We would never stock garbage like that.
So it's nothing new here, except in this case, this little town, this Marshall, Wisconsin, about 30 miles east of Madison, and it's in a county that voted 70% Hillary.
I checked it out.
So all of this adds up, but what we have there, a bunch of closed-minded bigots who are bullying their six-year-old students at uh at one of the public schools.
I tell you a kid he can't bring his Rush Revere books, and virtually every kid in that school would benefit from these books.
I think one of the things the left is really worried about is these books are reaching a demographic that they never ever worried that I would reach.
Young people learning the truth of America, learning the greatness of America, learning to love and be joyous Americans doesn't fit with the left's agenda today.
And so uh that's a great fear that they have.
But it's you know if there's anything inappropriate here, it's the way the school officials in in this little town of Wisconsin, Marshall, Wisconsin are bullying students for bringing books on the truth of the American founding into class.
Okay, uh, ladies and gentlemen, other things in the news out there as well, as you know, and let's just get started with them.
I mentioned, yeah, we had a couple calls yesterday.
One in particular that I remember from a guy who wanted to know if I thought the effort to not vote for Trump by the Electoral College would succeed.
As you know, the uh the left has mounted a couple of different efforts.
They are intimidating electors, they're sending them emails, they're phoning phoning them, they're bullying them, they're threatening them to change their vote from Trump to Hillary.
It is unprecedented, it has not happened before.
Electors have had some pressure before every election, but it's nothing like this.
We had a caller yesterday ask me if I thought they could possibly succeed.
And I'll tell him, tell you what I told him.
I said, I've called a bunch of experts on this.
Bunch of people I trust, and to to a man, to a woman, they all poo-pooed this.
There's no way it can happen.
There's no way.
There are laws or the laws, and the electors have to follow the laws in many of these states.
And then some people, I said, that does that's not good enough for me.
I think if you think this can't happen, you still still do not understand who we're up against here.
So I said, would you please look at this and tell me?
If it does happen, how?
And this is what they told me.
The best analysis of the possibility here that I got is this.
That as currently believed, there isn't, there aren't enough electors who could legally change their votes to get Hillary to 270 electoral votes.
However, an analysis shows that it is possible that some electors could be forced to change their votes and deny Trump from getting a 270 as well.
And if that were to happen, the presidency would then go to the House of Representatives.
They would decide it, since the Republicans control the House of Representatives now and once the next term starts, then Trump would be elected.
So I don't think anything is going to change the result.
But that doesn't mean their effort isn't going to continue.
And in fact, computer scientists urge Clinton campaign to challenge election results.
Ladies and gentlemen, I think the Clinton campaign's behind this.
I think it is the Clinton campaign that's mounting this effort to intimidate and threaten the electors.
You want to hear another theory?
Many people are aware now that Trump has supposedly backed off of his campaign promise to continue the investigation and possibly prosecute Hillary Clinton under the guise of draining the swamp in Washington.
A lot of people are very bothered by this.
One of the theories being bandied about is that a deal has been struck.
And the deal is if Trump, this is a behind the scenes deal.
And by the way, I don't believe this.
I'm just telling you what's out there.
That a deal's been struck between a Trump and Clinton campaigns that Trump promises he will not prosecute Hillary.
Hillary promises that she will pull back on this effort to threaten and intimidate the electors.
You'd be amazed a number of people believe that theory, though.
I've read various blog posts and listened to people talk about it.
And things are still so unsettled out there, and people are still so unnerved, because they see the left is showing no signs of indicating that they lost.
And I'm trying to tell they never will.
Donald Trump's presidency is going to be the most under siege attacked presidency we've ever had, day in, day out.
It isn't going to stop.
Their objective is going to get Trump out of office.
The second objective will be to get Trump so scared, so intimidated, he will back off everything he intended to do and essentially implement their agenda, or if they can't do that, not implement his.
But they do not slink away in defeat.
They don't shrink away.
Now, I don't, I don't believe that theory, but this story comes from a reporter named Dan Marik at CNN.
And this guy, we got to know him through the WikiLeaks dump.
He was all over the WikiLeaks dump as being connected from CNN to the Podesta and Hillary campaign.
And his story is this Hillary Clinton's campaign being urged by a number of top computer scientists to call for a recount of vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, according to a source with knowledge of the request.
Now stick with me on this.
The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that the vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked.
They presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday.
They claim that all it will take is changing 55,000 votes in three states, and Hillary will be the president.
Just to remind you, this guy Dan Marica was exposed in the WikiLeaks emails to be one of the Democrat Party's favorite stooges in the drive-by media.
Now you ready for the real nub of this story?
What do you think after I've read you that first paragraph?
Wow.
Wow.
They found some evidence out there that's some rigged votes.
They found some evidence in these three states.
Well now there's some games played.
No, they haven't found anything.
That's the bottom line.
The story is a total lie.
It's a misdirection.
It's a head feint.
They haven't found anything.
It's just three activists described as computer scientists urging the Clinton campaign to do this.
The computer scientists told the Clinton campaign they believe there is a questionable trend of Clinton performing worse in counties that relied on electronic voting machines compared to paper ballots and optical scanners.
The group informed John Podesta that Clinton received 7% fewer votes in counties that relied on machines, which the group said could have been hacked.
Their group told Podesta that while they had not found any evidence of hacking, the pattern needs to be looked at by an independent review.
In other words, there is zero evidence for this claim.
There is not a shred of evidence.
It's just three people calling themselves computer scientists, claiming that they have looked at trends and concluding there could have been hackery of voting machines.
And they admit there's no evidence of it, but that doesn't matter because once again, a favorite tactic of the left, the seriousness of the charge, vastly outweighs the nature of the evidence.
Remember the book by Gary Sick at Columbia, alleging that George Bush flew to Paris on an SR 71 to meet with the Iranians, strike a deal that they would keep the American hostages in hostage until after the election, making it easier for Reagan to beat Carter.
There was not a shred of evidence.
It never happened.
The speaker of the House at a time is a guy named Tom Tom, what's if Tom Mendelblock on his name, he was from he was from Washington, and he went on TV said, the seriousness of this charge is such that we must investigate.
And they did.
They investigated.
This is years after the fact, by the way.
This was like 1990, it was years after Reagan had left office, but they investigated.
They found nothing.
Same thing with Claris Thomas and Anita Hill.
She had no evidence.
It was the seriousness of the charge that warranted the direction those confirmation hearings took.
And the same thing here.
There is no evidence.
They couldn't find any.
They've looked for evidence that there was hackery in the voting machines in three states, and they can't find any evidence, and they admit it.
They just say because machines were used, it could have been done.
So this effort is real.
Now, this story claims that these three scientists, computer scientists, have reached the Clinton campaign.
They're urging them to move forward on this.
Nobody will be able to convince me that the Clinton campaign is behind this effort to harass, threaten, and intimidate the electors in the states who will vote on December the 19th.
Back after this vote.
Wasn't it Hillary Clinton who said, in fact, it was because I have the tweet here right in front of me back on October 24th.
Hillary Clinton tweeted, Donald Trump refused to say that he would respect the results of the election.
That's a direct threat to our democracy.
Well, we've had a roll reversal here, and Hillary and her campaign, anyway, are sponsoring this intimidation tactic of the electoral college.
Why, whoa, what was why is this not a threat to our democracy?
It's Hillary who appears to be the one refusing to respect the results.
And by the way, lest you think that there's nothing to this, the New York Daily News has a story today.
They're cheering from the rooftops.
Six electors have vowed to change their vote to Hillary.
Six electors pledge to Donald Trump say they are going to change their vote to Hillary Clinton.
At least six have vowed to cast ballots that do not align with the popular vote results of their states.
And if they do, if they carry out their intentions, they would narrow Trump's margin of victory in the Electoral College.
Right now, Trump has 290 electoral votes.
Hillary has 232.
The highest number of faithless detectors or electors in this country.
And it has happened.
I mean, this is not unprecedented.
It was 1808 when six electors declined to vote for James Madison.
And uh the New York Daily News says they found at least six members.
So Trump at 290, Hillary at 270 or 223, 232.
So there wouldn't be enough of this to get her to 270, but there are people thinking they can deny Trump 270 as well.
Now, folks, um Department of Justice not going to go.
Oh, that's that's something it's I guess I'm gonna I'm gonna wait this Facebook story involving my Facebook page.
This is about Trump and climate change.
Uh save that for the next hour.
Let me get started on the phones here.
This is Nicole in Cleveland.
Nicole, great to have you on the EIB network.
Hello.
Hi, how are you?
I'm I'm great.
I'm really great.
Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Oh, well, thank you.
And I and I want to congratulate you on your new book.
Now I started listening to you a few years ago, and I was really, I'd say, most surprised by your humor.
And I've become a big fan, but I'm especially impressed with your books.
Um I have a middle school child, and he read them and he loved them.
But my youngest child is really, really fallen in love with Liberty.
And I wondered if you had put any thought into doing a nonfiction series of American history for older children.
Well, I can't commit to anything, but one of the things that's happening is that people like you are requesting that we write books on American history for an older group to get into more of the actual uh historical uh uh factual uh occurrences because they are they are profound, and it's intriguing uh to us.
We always listen to the to the readers and listeners and what they and what they say they want.
And it's an exciting project to do as it is as it exists now.
So I mean everything is is possible.
Everything's on the table here, and we're intrigued by all of it.
And your comments especially, I I appreciate.
Thank you so much.
Yeah, I I I think it would be great.
And even if there's some way you could put them at the same quality and maybe even have pictures of Liberty doing little pop-up facts in the margins.
Really help make it interesting.
Um I appreciate the idea.
I I really do.
Hey, look, before I run out of time here, I would I have to ask you, would you like a new iPhone 7 or 7 Plus?
Uh yeah, that would be great.
I uh you don't have to take it.
I mean, I you don't don't feel obligated.
If you I mean, but I'm offering to every caller uh the last three days.
That would be really sweet.
Okay, did you have who is your carrier?
I have sprint.
Sprint, cool.
And do you have a particular color or preference size?
I I don't care on color, probably whichever one is the larger one would be great.
The larger one.
Okay, fine and dandy.
So we'll send you a black uh iPhone 7 plus that'll work on what you're gonna get.
You're gonna get an unlocked iPhone.
It has no SIM card in it, which means it'll work on any carrier in the world.
So just you have an iPhone now.
No, I've never had an Apple product.
Oh, well, you're song and I'm you do not know what you're higher, so you don't know what you're in for.
Okay, so you'll take this to the sprint store, take it in the box, and you tell them it's unlocked and that it's a gift, and that you want to transfer your number from your current phone to this new one, and they will be more than happy to see you and they'll make that happen.
Oh, that's so sweet of you, thank you.
And my seven-year-old is over here yelling, ask him my question.
He wants to know how does Liberty hold his breath for so long.
He doesn't.
Liberty's able to time travel without holding his breath.
It happens instantaneously.
Oh, well, no, when he when he when he goes invisible, he has to hold his breath to be invisible.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Well, he continues to breathe.
There there isn't a mammal that can hold his breath at all, none other than a whale.
So he continues to breathe while invisible, and when it's cold and you can see the breath, he has to hide behind something else in addition to that.
Now hey now don't Nicole, don't hang up.
We gotta get Mr. Sturdy to get your address here to send you the phone.
You'll have it on Friday.
If everything goes right, we'll be back here in just a second.
Bloomberg News just posted a story.
Americans have more hope than they've had in the last ten years as the result, but that's not their headline.
That's not their headline.
I'll share all that with you and much more.
