Welcome to today's edition of The Rush 24-7 podcast.
Okay, stop and think of this.
To Obama to Hillary to Democrats and the American left.
Whenever a guy says that he's a woman, she's a woman.
When a woman says, no, no, no, I present as a guy, the left says, there's a guide, here's a guy.
See the two boobs, I said it's a guy.
So if you're a woman and you want to be a man and you tell a Democrat you're a man, you're a man.
If you're a man that wants to be a woman, you tell a Democrat you're a woman, you want to use the woman's bathroom when you're a man, they say, fine, have at it.
Tell them you're a Muslim, they say no.
No.
No.
You have to be, you're inspired by Republicans.
Men and women who want to present as opposites can tell Democrats that that's who they are, and there's no doubt whatsoever.
Somebody comes up, I'm a Muslim, I don't like you, I don't like the fact you're an infidel.
I'm gonna blow up every institution of yours I can.
I'm not sure that we're dealing with Muslims, the Democrats say.
Isn't it amazing?
Great to have you with us, folks, as the week marches on here at the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
Telephone numbers 800-282-2882 and the email address L Rushmow at EIB net.com.
Either way, I'll find out what you say.
I do check the emails during the breaks, and if anything is inspiring, and I print it out and use it, paraphrase it, I very seldom read them verbatim, but sometimes I do.
You know, it's unreal.
It's unreal.
Every drive-by media report on the Orlando terror attack still claims that nobody can figure out a motive, except for the fact that Republicans did it.
Or that religion is responsible, but not Islam.
No, Christianity.
Yes, Christians, whether they know it or not, threaten homosexuals, threaten Muslims.
Heck, Christians threaten everybody.
And that's why people are not themselves.
Christians are to blame for every aberration taking place in this country.
New York Times Charles Blow is his name.
Omar Mateen, American monster.
It's America's fault.
American monster.
Omar Mateen.
Trump had it right yesterday.
He was born here, but his ideas are not from here.
That was a good line.
It's been glossed over by a lot of people.
Yeah, this Shadique Mateen, whatever his name.
He was born here, but his ideas are not from here.
Speaking of New York Times or editorial board still struggling here to find a motive, and they actually do blame the attack on Republicans.
They blame the attack on Christians.
And in the New York Times editorial, you will not find the words Muslim or Islam.
Or the attacker.
But think about it.
Obama and Hillary, and of course the New York Times and the rest of the drive-by media demand, and the American left demand that when a man self-identifies as a woman, that we accept him as a woman.
And in fact, New York City will even find businesses up to 250,000 if they don't accept someone's self-identification and call them the wrong pronoun.
But here we have Omar Mateen, a radical Muslim registered Democrat, and everybody from Obama to Hillary to the New York Times flatly refuses to accept him at his word.
You know why?
He's obviously disturbed.
He doesn't know who he is.
He doesn't know why he was mad.
He was mad, we understand that.
And he was upset, yes, but he was upset at Republicans, and he was upset at Christians.
The fact that he's a Muslim and a registered Democrat, of course, irrelevant.
These are the kinds of things that can literally drive you crazy and literally think there's no hope left for the country.
I mean, this is the links, the bastardization of logic, the denial of reality that the left is willing to do in order to preserve themselves and their agenda.
Is I don't know how you attack it.
I I you can You can spend all day, every day for 28 years like I have, attempting to inform people of the debauchery, the lying, the misrepresentation, the phoniness, examples like I have given today, and it seems to have little impact with people that haven't made up their minds about things, or they have low information or what have you.
It's it is really a puzzling, puzzling thing.
The news today is that uh Omar Mateen did this attack because the U.S. is bombing his country, Afghanistan.
Wait a minute, I thought he was an American.
Wait a minute.
He was born here, right?
His parents weren't.
His parents came here.
I'm getting to the CIA, Sturdly, I can't do it all in the first 10 minutes.
Just be patient.
Sturdley thinks I'm blowing the lead here.
I'm just kidding.
Sternley didn't say that.
But look, the news today is the Mateen did this attack because the U.S. is bombing his country, Afghanistan.
Afghanistan's not his country.
At least that's what we're told.
He was born here.
Therefore, something had to radicalize him.
It could not have been Islam.
It had to be something in America.
Yes.
And that's where Christians and Republicans and conservatives come in.
Well, if, let's just take this at its word, though.
If Omar Sadiqi Mateen is angry and did this attack because the U.S. is bombing his country, who's ordering the bombing?
Paul Ryan.
Fox News, talk radio.
No.
No, my friends.
It's our esteemed president Barack Hussein O has ordered the continued bombing of Afghanistan.
And yet not one person, not one media outlet would dare to blame Obama for Mateen's attack, even though Mateen said, I am ticked off.
I was mad they are bombing my country.
Well, the people in the gay bar were not bombing Afghanistan.
Obama was, and is.
But of course, they're not going to blame Obama.
They're too busy trying to blame the NRA.
Too busy trying to blame Christians.
Too busy trying to blame talk radio, Fox News, the usual suspects.
The New York Times editorial board even published a second rant this morning, the The NRA's complicity in terrorism.
The guy, I'm telling you, the NR this guy was in possession of a gun legally.
Who was it?
The Homeland, not Homeland Security Guy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It was homeless.
Jay Johnson, the Homeland Security Guy, Jay Johnson, I guess he was on MSNBC this morning, and they asked him point blank, what could you have done to have denied this guy the use of a weapon?
I couldn't think of it because every law that we have on the books, everything that was required, this guy passed.
He passed every background check.
Now there's more to that, though, than you will believe.
And if there's anything approaching on today's program, a kind of hate to use the word bombshell, but this is close.
If you are wondering, okay, how does a guy named Omar Sidicki Mateen, with his family history, and other things, obviously clear, able to be learned about that?
How does he pass a background check?
Well, we have to thank the Obama administration for that.
I have a series of stories here that are going to boggle your mind.
The first is from the French news agency, the headline, threats against Muslims must stop after Orlando attacks, according to U.S. authorities.
Threats against Muslims must stop now.
U.S. authorities on Wednesday warned that threats against Muslims would not be tolerated and possibly prosecuted after alleged incidents in the wake of the Orlando Gay Club massacre, which was carried out by a Muslim gunman.
Assistant Special Agent Ron Hopper.
FBI told reporters, civil rights violations are a priority here at the FBI.
We will investigate reported incidents against individuals based upon any class, any protected class, to include race, religion, sexual orientation.
So the focus of the United States government, the FBI right now is trying to find people who might be threatening or saying negative things about Muslims, targeting them, finding them, and exploring ways to punish them.
That's just the tip of the iceberg.
Have you heard about the Obama counter-terrorism strategy called countering violent extremism?
It's actually, that's what it's called, CVE.
Have you heard of that?
Well, let me tell you about it.
Because the Republican leadership in the House is preparing now to meet Obama's request for 40 million dollars of additional funding for the countering violent extremism program.
The FBI is trying to investigate these terror threats, and you just heard that threats against Muslims must stop.
And the FBI say, we're we're vigilant, we're looking out for this.
Are you also looking out for threats against America by Muslims?
Are you well, we presume so, but no, you would be wrong.
We're not allowed to.
That's what the CVE is.
You're not going to believe this.
The FBI is trying to investigate terrorist threats, but is hamstrung by this countering violent extremism program.
The name countering violent extremism was carefully chosen in order to suggest that there is no particular ideology causing the threat.
Countering violent extremism could require investigators to focus on extremist right wing groups, for example.
And in fact, does countering violent extremism, carefully chosen in order to suggest that no particular ideology is causing the threat.
Any kind of extremism, such as in right-wing groups that could lead to violence, will be investigated.
The theory behind countering violent extremism...
The theory of the strategy is that, number one, Muslim communities have uniformly rejected terrorism, so we don't need to investigate them.
We don't need to because they're a religion of peace.
Remember now, you think it's a joke, but Obama and the Democrats, when they say terrorism has nothing to do with Islam.
It's it's a bastardization.
Islam is a religion of peace.
All these people out there, ISIS ISIL, claiming to be doing what they're doing for Islam.
They are not Islamists.
They are extremists, they are not.
The acting belief, philosophy, policy of the United States government is Muslim communities have uniformly rejected terrorism, therefore they don't need to be monitored or investigated.
Number two, instead of aggressively collecting intelligence about radical Islamic communities and suspects who could cause a threat, the FBI, are you sitting down?
The FBI is required to partner with Muslim community leaders who are essentially members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The FBI, according to the countering violent extremism initiative, should partner With Muslim community leaders like the Muslim Brotherhood who will serve as our eyes and ears to let us know if there's a problem.
So the FBI cannot monitor by virtue of this program, law, whatever.
We cannot monitor Muslim communities.
We are not supposed to.
We are to rely on Muslim community leaders within those communities to tell the FBI if there's something we need to be worried about.
Now, when you see this, all of this focus on Christians and all this focus on the NRA and all this focus on other extremist groups kind of makes sense.
It I mean, it doesn't make sense.
But the fact that Mateen's a Muslim, no, no, no, no.
He couldn't have been because Islam's a religion of peace.
They don't do this.
That's Obama's story, and he's sticking with it.
And since it's Obama's story, it's the story of the federal government.
It's the story of our investigative agencies.
The FBI is reportedly highly frustrated over this.
They cannot day in and day out.
There are exceptions, obviously, but day in and day.
They cannot investigate Muslim neighborhoods, communities, mosques.
They have to rely on outreach to Muslim community leaders in those mosques or neighborhoods to tell them if there's something going on in there that they need to be worried about.
And that's why it's called countering violent extremism, not countering violent Islamic terrorism, for example.
Islamic and Muslim is specifically left out of the title.
Now, this is insane, folks.
Not only is it common senseless, it's insane.
It's tying both hands behind our backs.
And we see the result.
You wonder how this guy gets a gun?
How does a guy pass a background check?
Hello, countering violent extremism.
We're not allowed to find out.
We cannot use anything we okay.
We've got a guy.
We got we can find out what he's put on the internet.
We can find he's predisposed to violence.
He's not happy with America.
His father was a uh Islamic sympathetic.
Can't use any of that.
Can't use it because we're we're not allowed to hoover up that kind of information unless Muslim outreach partners inform us.
So with a guy goes to get a gun, passes our background checks, and that's it.
You wonder how this is how.
This is why things like Orlando happen.
We're not allowed by virtue of Obama's legislation.
Well, it is legislation because this is the icing on the cake.
It's about to run out of money.
I mean, the FBI's trying to investigate, but they are limited by these guidelines in countering violent extremism that do not allow them.
Here's the bottom line or the upshot of this.
Countering violent extremism does not permit the FBI to factor radical beliefs when determining whether there is a criminal threat.
We're not allowed to go there.
We're not call it uh a variation of profiling.
Not a lot, but this is not profiling, this is hard cold evidence.
We are to ignore it.
We're not allowed to use it because of countering violent extremism limitations on investigating Muslim communities.
So why is Paul Ryan pushing to fund this program an additional 40 million dollars in the next budget?
I have to take a break here, but we're just getting started with this stuff.
Hang in.
Look, there is uh there's much more on this CVE and related items.
I have a short amount of time left in this break, so I'm gonna wait until the uh segment following the next break uh commences to get into more detail on it.
You can continue to digest it.
I mean, it's it's uh it's inexplicable.
It's it's in utter defiance of common sense.
It's so outrageous, I'm sure many people don't believe it.
Rush, that can't be true.
You're either having fun with this or you're just wrong.
It can't be true.
Folks, it's true, and it there's more.
Um it's even worse than than what you've heard so far.
The practical application of CVE and its implications just to have some more earth-shattering details to share with you.
I also uh uh I note here that some Trump supporters are getting nervous.
There are two polls out that Bloomberg poll that we talked about that has Trump down by 11 to Hillary.
There's another part, the CBS poll that shows only 25% of Americans agree with Trump's policies and statements after the Orlando massacre.
51% disagree with what Trump said.
And this has some Trump supporters really getting nervous now.
Sounding like they may be close to throwing Trump overboard, but not the movement.
They think what Trump stands for is winning, but that Trump may be on the verge of blowing it.
And if you think I'm making that up, stand by.
I have the headline here in the details.
It's all coming up when we get back.
Greetings, my friends, welcome back.
Great to have you, Rush Limbaugh.
Okay.
Look, um, in addition to this countering violent extremism, uh, tell you what's coming up.
We've got the CIA director, he admitted it, just totally pulled a rug out from under Obama yesterday.
Admits that ISIS is coming into the country via refugees.
It's coming in uh sneaking in via the immigration program, that ISIS is bigger than ever, cutting idle Obama said we got them on the run, they're in smaller numbers than there have been in seven and a half years.
Um John Brennan just painted an entirely different picture what Obama said yesterday.
The difference is nobody's gonna hear what Brennan said because he was in congressional testimony on C SPAN, maybe a couple news networks for 20 minutes, and Obama had a national address that everybody that drive by's covered.
So nobody's gonna hear Brennan.
They're gonna hear us talk about Brennan, and they're gonna think, well, Limbaugh and the conservatives, you know, you don't like Obama's are probably making it up.
So you you can't get through to people because they can't critically think anymore.
People don't know the difference between fact and opinion.
And I'm getting off the beaten path.
I want to stick with this because so many people say, why why why can't we stop these people?
We're not permitted to, because the administration has implemented policies that tell our investigators, like the FBI, things they have to ignore.
And it's all part of the countering violent extremism initiative.
Take you back.
San Bernardino.
One of the mass murderers in that attack was named Tashfin Malik.
Some of this I'm sure you're going to remember as I go through it.
Tashfin Malik wrote social media posts, like on Twitter and Facebook and wherever else, that endorsed Jihad, expressed disdain and hatred for America.
Yet immigration agents did not question her about that when she sought admission to our country.
In fact, our government consciously avoided learning about her Islamic rants because they were required to by law.
They're not allowed to go there.
Writing at National Review, Andrew McCarthy says that commentators, stunned by this dereliction, are attributing it to secret guidance issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
Again, I want to say this is not my opinion.
This is not anybody's fact.
It's the same thing with with uh Mateen here.
They had to ignore the background check people on the guns, whatever this guy had written on social media, hatred for America, go go ISIS.
Uh Jihad, we were not allowed to even use it, not allowed to even investigate it.
If it was discovered, we were had we had to forget it.
Our agents had to forget it.
They were not permitted to.
Because of Obama's policy counseling countering violent extremism.
Not making this up.
I mean, it puts a new light on what Trump said.
You know, there may be something going on with Obama here.
None of this is making sense, and it doesn't make sense.
When it was learned in the aftermath of San Bernardino that one of the killers had practically telegraphed her intention all over social media and that investigators ignored it.
People said, well, you know, there must be some secret guidance issued by Homeland Security because nobody's this stupid.
Well, there's nothing secret about it.
The instruction to refrain from scrutinizing social media commentary, which is a huge source of intelligence.
You got people all over this country vomiting everything about themselves because they want to be famous.
They want to be noticed.
Social media is all about notice me, notice me, I matter, I'm important.
So people put everything about themselves.
And some of them put the most outrageous stuff hoping to get noticed.
They crave followers.
And these clowns are no different.
And yet our investigators are under orders to ignore all of that.
The instruction to refrain from scrutinizing social media commentary is a straightforward application of what passes for the official Obama administration anti-terrorism strategy known as countering violent extremism.
Now, Tafsin Malik, a native Pakistani who immigrated to the U.S. in July after living for a time in Saudi Arabia, as did Mateen, joined her husband, Saeed Rizwan Farouk, in killing 14 people in San Bernardino, California.
Government officials concede that Tafshin Malik was inadequately screened before being permitted to relocate to the U.S. on a K-1 visa, issued because she was the fiance of Saeed Rizwan Farouk, who was an American citizen.
The couple married soon after her immigration.
Tafsheen Malik's visa approval was already the stuff of scandal even before the latest revelations, especially in light of Obama's plan to admit thousands of immigrants from Syria and other bastions of Islamic supremacism, which inevitably breeds violent jihad.
You might remember right after the San Bernardino massacre, it emerged that uh Tafshin Malik had provided government screeners with a fake Pakistani address.
She may have been even educated in a notoriously anti-Western madrasa.
Neither fact was discovered during the vetting process because the investigators are not allowed to pay attention to it.
And if they see it, they are required to ignore it because they're not allowed to factor it in.
It doesn't, I know.
But remember the original point I made about the CVE.
FBI investigators admit they're frustrated.
They cannot themselves investigate Muslim communities because Islam is a religion of peace.
Muslim communities are thought to already have no violence in them.
That's a this is straight from Obama, straight from the regime.
The only way the FBI can learn of potential problems coming out of a Muslim community is if their partners, community outreach specialists within that Muslim community, inform them.
What turns out that the people the FBI interact with happen to be Muslim Brotherhood or CARE or other such representatives.
And that's the only way the FBI can learn officially what's going on.
They're not allowed to do it themselves.
I know this doesn't, folks, I I can imagine you're you rush this doesn't make sense.
You have to have something wrong here.
I know you're thinking this.
Even though you trust me implicitly, even though after 28 years, 27, whatever it is, you know instinctively I don't lie and make things up, but you still can't believe this.
This doesn't make sense.
I'm telling you there's not a syllable, there's not a consonant, there's not a vowel of exaggeration in this.
The reason why this has all come up is because the CVE is about out of money.
Okay.
It needs an infusion, and the Republicans are prepared to send Obama another 40 million dollars to keep it going.
And people are asking why.
Why?
The thing is, what happened in the case of the San Bernardino II and what happened in the case of Mateen, whatever.
These are not glitches.
These are not examples of our system not working.
These are examples of the system doing what it was designed to do.
Ignore certain inarguable signs of who we're dealing with.
Under the premise that Islam is a religion of peace, that there is no terrorism.
These people claiming they're conducting terrorist acts in the name of Islam are not Islam.
They're not Muslims.
That's Obama.
That's apparently his belief and therefore the official belief of U.S. government.
At uh at Power Line today, I'm not, I think this is John Hendrocker, I'm not sure, but uh headline how not to counter domestic terrorism.
Sources tell me Speaker Ryan pushing this week to fund the Department of Homeland Security's countering violent extremism program to the tune of 40 million dollars.
Now, if you didn't know anything about the program, it might seem a good idea for Ryan to get countering violent extremism funded in the wake of the Orlando massacre.
But you can tell from the name of the program that it's misguided and is designed to mislead countering violent extremism?
You mean why does just this is why the whole business of labels is important.
Obama, why won't you say militant Islamic terrorism, extremist Islamic terrorism?
Why won't you say it?
Precisely because of this.
It doesn't exist in his world.
Countering violent extremism imagines movies being shot up by wacko members of the Tea Party.
Of course, the things they imagine, right wing doesn't happen, don't happen.
Violent extremism did not produce the Orlando shootings.
This is important.
You're thinking about Rush, now come on, it did.
No, no, no.
No.
Violent extremism, excuse me, did not cause the Orlando shootings.
Violent extremism did not cause the San Bernardino massacre.
Islamic terrorism did it.
Islamic militant, whatever you want to call it, militant Islamic extremism, militant Islamic terrorism, Islamic extremist terrorists.
That's who is responsible for Orlando and San Bernardino, not violent extremism.
Violent extremism is specifically meant the way it's worded and structured by this administration to omit Islam.
And in fact, that's the practical application.
Muslim communities are ignored as investigators try to find the answers to violent extremism.
Well, you can't find the answer when you're not allowed to go look at the cause.
The cause is Islamist terrorism.
Quick time out.
We'll be back after this.
Ha.
Great to be back here, folks.
A telephone number 800-282-288-2, if you want to be on the program.
ISIS has a large cadre of Western fighters who could attack in the West.
ISIS is continuing to inspire sympathizers with no direct links to ISIS to attack on their own as it did in Orlando, says the director of the CIA.
John Brennan also said that despite all the efforts of the United States against ISIS, it has not stopped the group.
He said, unfortunately, despite all of our progress against ISIL on the battlefield and in the financial realm, our efforts have not reduced the group's terrorism capability and global reach.
In fact, as the pressure mounts on ISIL, we judge that it will intensify its global terror campaign to maintain its dominance of the global terrorism agenda.
Now wait.
Obama said just yesterday or the day before, I don't know, that uh we're we're beating them hands down, that their numbers are shrinking, their influence is waning.
They got them on the run.
They're at their weakest point since Obama started dealing with them.
And this guy, the CI director, just threw Obama overboard today.
Let's go to the audio sound bites.
It was a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, and these are opening remarks, the first of two bites.
Unfortunately, despite all our progress against ISIL on the battlefield and in the financial realm, our efforts have not reduced the group's terrorism capability and global reach.
The resources needed for terrorism are very modest.
And the group would have to suffer even heavier losses on territory, manpower, and money for its terrorist capacity to decline significantly.
Look at I know I know what some of you are saying.
Russia's all a ruse to get more money in the budget because it's budget time in Washington.
I understand that.
I understand that.
And it's just when you have to factor something like that in, it's another bit of evidence of the corruption that exists in Washington, D.C. And the fact that we can't trust anything, even on something like this, that we have to wait a minute.
Maybe he's.
You know, who's right?
Obama tells us we're beating them?
They're dwindling.
Despite the Orlando and San Bernardino attacks.
I know it's conflicting.
And this guy, the head of the CIA, comes up there, oh no, no, it's worse than ever.
Oh my God, but it's budget time in Washington.
What are we supposed to believe?
What are we to do when we don't trust any of these institutions anymore or people in them?
Here's the next bite.
Opening remarks.
CIA director John Brennan.
We judge that ISIL is training and attempting to deploy operatives for further attacks.
ISIL has a large cadre of Western fighters who could potentially serve as operatives for attacks in the West.
And the group is probably exploring a variety of means for infiltrating operatives into the West, including in refugee flows, smuggling routes, and legitimate methods of travel.
We know that's true.
As we've seen in Orlando, San Bernardino, and elsewhere, ISIL is attempting to inspire attacks by sympathizers who have no direct links to the group.
See, what do you mean no direct links?
Just because in a card-carrying members, he means, well, they're doing it in ISIS's name.
Doesn't it doesn't sound like to me that their influence is waning?
We know they're getting into the country.
We know they're getting in here via our immigration or refugee policy.
Let's go back and listen to Obama.
September 10th, 2014, uh this is Obama talking about our plans to take on ISIS.
This counter-terrorism campaign will be waged through a steady, relentless effort to take out ISIL wherever they exist, using our air power and our support for partners' forces on the ground.
The strategy of taking out terrorists who threaten us while supporting partners on the front lines is one that we have successfully pursued in Yemen and Somalia for years.
Well, I mean, that's that's two years ago, but just yesterday or whenever he went out and did that speech when this program started, he again talked about ISIL.
But why he doesn't label them for what they are?
Anyway, I got to take a break here.
I'm out of time.
Back in a second.
After the Orlando shooting, Obama said, ISIL is under more pressure than ever before.
ISIL continues to lose ground in Iraq.
All told ISIL has now lost nearly half the populated territory it once controlled in Iraq, and it'll lose more.
The CIA director today says they're bigger than ever.
They're stronger than ever, they're stealthier than ever, and they're getting into this country in greater numbers than ever.
