Having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have Rushlin Barr redefining hip on the radio.
Emitting vocal vibrations, rhetoric and resonance coast to coast.

Some polling news, presidential candidate Donald.
Trump is enjoying his largest lead over the Republican field following the debate last Tuesday.
This the and there's a new poll out there every day, it seems like this is public policy polling.
And they're a left-wing outfit out of North Carolina.
They uh released data on Friday that shows that Trump's at 34% nationally among Republican voters.
That's up eight points from a mid-November poll.
And all of the polling data seem to suggest that Trump nationwide is uh is running away with it is up to 41 in that's in Monmouth, and making it uh now almost insurmountable.
Ted Cruz is leading in Iowa and gaining ground in Iowa, while Trump is staying on top in New Hampshire and in South Carolina.
Now, meanwhile, Jeb Bush, the Daily Caller during a Sunday interview with CBS John Dickerson.
Jeb Bush reiterated his claim that he prefers not being the front runner.
He said, I feel much better back here.
I've always thought that there was going to be a high expectation of me.
I totally get it.
So Jeb says that he's he's happy to be back there at three and five percent.
His thinking is, hey, there's only one way I can go here, and that's up.
And it's tempering expectations and it's reducing some pressure.
He said, being a front runner made me feel like the people are going to begin to say this guy just dancing light through this.
I didn't want to be the front runner.
Uh only one way to go when you're the front runner, and everybody's attacking you, so I kind of like being back here.
I want to win, which means that you gotta garner momentum when it matters.
Right now is when it matters.
So I feel good about where we are right now.
Well, it's a it's a natural thing to say.
He spent a lot of money at 3 to 5%, 6%, depending on where you look.
So obviously, in the Jeb camp, if these comments are real, I mean by that if he really means it, then they're still holding out hope that this race hasn't even begun yet.
And that everything up to now has sort of been, well, it's real, but it isn't real.
It's sort of artificial.
And as we get closer and closer to the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary, that the weight of what they're about to do will start to weigh on voters' minds.
And they'll begin to take it even more seriously, and then more seriously with the passing of each day, and more seriously and more seriously with the passing of each day after that.
At some point, they'll begin to take it so seriously, they'll realize the only choice they've really got is Jeb.
And that they've just been playing around up till now, realizing that they've had plenty of time to play around with their emotions and their feelings and kind of toy around with the pollsters.
But as we get close to February 1st, it's gonna really hit voters what they're up against, and when that hits them, it's gonna be Jeb.
It must be there are people in the Jeb camp that think that's still something likely to happen.
In the meanwhile, or in the meantime, Trump is out there hitting Hillary now the same way he hit Jeb.
He's basically hitting Hillary on the basis that she's tired all the time, lacks energy, and added to it, now she's a flat out in your face liar.
And she needs to apologize.
And Trump's out there saying, hey, look, it worked when I told people that Jeb didn't have any energy, and he looked like he didn't really want to be doing this, and it worked, it did Jeb in.
I'm gonna do Hillary in the same way.
He has said, I haven't even begun to talk about Hillary.
You know, he made that pledge in the last debate.
Closing statement, looks in the camera, promised everybody he'll do everything he can, work as hard as he can to defeat Hillary Clinton.
Let's go to some audio sound bites from the uh Democrat debate Saturday night that literally nobody watched.
Yeah, the Jets and Cowboys on uh, well, I don't know, that was on the NFL network.
Actually, it's not they they they reported an audience of eight million for this.
Which we have to accept it.
That's what the rating service is saying, but if we're gonna accept it, 18 million watch the Republicans and not question it.
Okay, and then eight and a half million watched this, but Lord knows why.
Saturday night, St. Anselm College.
Democrat candidates debated during a segment on foreign policy, one of the moderators, David Muir from ABC's World News tonight.
So, Secretary Clinton, you have weighed in already on Donald Trump.
You're you've weighed in on his proposed ban on Muslims entering the country.
What would you say to the millions of Americans watching tonight who agree with Trump?
Are they wrong?
He is becoming ISIS's best recruiter.
They are going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists.
So I want to explain why this is not in America's interest to react with this kind of fear and respond to this sort of bigotry.
All right.
Let me analyze this for just a second.
What are we told every day by Obama and Hillary and the rest of the Democrats that Islam's a nation of peace?
And that Islam opposes terrorism and ISIS as much as anybody else does.
There is no terrorism in Islam.
And so these terrorists claiming that they're Islam, they're not.
They're bastardizing it or they're making fun of it or whatever, but they're not really Muslims.
They're pretenders.
Okay, that's on over here.
Now, Hillary Clinton says that all you have to do to convert one of those peaceful Muslims to a terrorist is show him a video tape of Donald Trump.
How does that work, folks?
You show somebody in a religion of peace a videotape of Donald Trump, and it automatically turns him into a terrorist.
I mean, that's what she says when she's saying that they've got these recruitment videos.
He's becoming ISIS's best recruiter.
They're going to people showing videos of Trump insulting Islam and Muslims, and they're recruiting more terrorists.
How does that happen?
The religion of peace is the religion of peace, and members of the religion of peace are peaceful people.
And all you have to do to turn them into ISIS-type terrorists is show them a picture of Trump or a videotape of Trump?
How does that work?
Must not be too peaceful to start with if it doesn't take any more than that to turn them into a jihadist.
Why doesn't anybody question Hillary just on the very basis of what she says?
I mean, she's lying through her teeth here, and Trump has exposed it in the you know what?
Even the left wing fact checkers couldn't cover this up.
All of these communist left-wing like politifact, and over at the Washington Post, their Pinocchio guy, all of these fact-check, they're all liberal Democrat media people, these fact-checkers for the most part.
They can't find there's no evidence.
There is no video.
There's no video of Trump doing anything.
But imagine if there were.
Somebody needs to ask Mrs. Clinton, wait a minute, Miss Clinton, is it that easy to convert a member of the religion of peace to a jihadist?
Just show them a video of Donald Trump.
Is that all it takes?
If that's all it takes, we are in a heap of big trouble here.
If that's all it takes to recruit a peaceful Muslim to a murdering terrorists, terrorists, I mean, we've got problems.
Why don't you just somebody ask her that?
You know, one sniff radicalization.
Doesn't make sense.
Kind of like this mathematics, how the rich have gotten rich by stealing all the money from the poor.
I never have understood the math on that.
And I don't understand this.
Anyway, speaking of Hillary and Videos.
How about the audacity of even talking about a video?
I guess they figure it worked once.
We'll try it again.
Remember this from 2012?
This video is disgusting and reprehensible.
It appears to have a deeply cynical purpose to denigrate a great religion and to provoke rage.
Okay, that's the mysterious video from YouTube, but nobody ever saw that the video maker was in jail, put in jail for.
But again, here you have members of a religion of peace.
They are Muslims and they don't believe in terrorism.
They're as opposed to it as we are.
All that has to happen is they see a video on YouTube.
Well, they don't even see it.
All they have to do is hear about some video on YouTube, and instantaneously they join a protest movement in Benghazi in which four Americans are killed.
Is that how easy it is?
Do Obama and Hillary really want to portray Islam this way.
That all you've got to do to turn them to jihad is show them a video insulting Islam to one degree or another.
And by the way, how is a temporary moratorium on Muslims being allowed to come into America?
How is that justification for joining the jihad?
But Mrs. Clinton and President Obama seem to think it makes perfect sense that you could show a member of the religion of peace a video of Trump suggesting a temporary moratorium, and hell yes, it makes all kinds of sense they'd become a jihadist.
Well, it doesn't make sense to me.
So now let's go to Trump.
He's on Meet the Press on Sunday.
F. Chuck Todd says, now I know what you're about to say.
No fact checker has been able to back up her claim on that.
Exactly correct.
I was going to say that.
Exactly correct.
Nobody has been able to back that up.
It's nonsense.
It's just another Hillary lie.
She lies like crazy about everything, whether it's trips where she was being gunned down in a helicopter or an airplane.
Uh she's a liar, and everybody knows that.
She just made this up in thin air.
Yeah, she lied about her first name.
She lied about being named after the great mountaineer, Sir Edmund Hillary.
The problem is nobody knew who he was until six years after she was born.
He didn't climb the mountain until six years after she was born.
She could not possibly have been named for the guy.
So F. Chuck Todd, trying to limit the damage to Hillary, says, You're right, there's no evidence yet.
But if you knew your words were being used, now get this.
This is how it works.
Hillary makes something up about a Trump video ending up recruiting for ISIS.
There isn't a video.
It has been fact-checked.
She lied.
She made it up.
It isn't true.
Then he snarkily says, I knew you were going to see that.
I knew you'd say.
But Donald.
Yeah, there's no evidence.
But what about the seriousness of the charge, Donald?
What if you knew your words were being used that way?
Would you change your language?
Chuck, what the hell kind of question is that?
You take something that isn't happening.
You take a lie from Hillary Clinton.
Nobody can find any evidence of it.
She's a flat out liar on this, and then you dare to ask, but what if it were true?
It's the old seriousness of the seriousness of the charge versus the nature of evidence question.
And as far as the left is concerned, the seriousness of the charge trumps everything.
And here is Trump's answer.
No, because I think that my words represent toughness and strength.
Hillary's not strong.
She's weak, frankly.
She's got no stamina.
She's got nothing.
Let me stop you there.
She couldn't even get back on the stage.
Nobody even knows what happened to her.
It's like she went home and went to the city.
Why do you keep going on this?
Well, I'll tell you why.
Because we need a president with great strength and great stamina.
And Hillary doesn't have that.
We cannot have another bad president like we have right now.
We need a president with tremendous intelligence, smarts, cunning, strength, and stamina.
That's right.
Hillary can't even hold it for two.
Why not wear a diaper for if you can't hold it for two hours, get a depends in there or something or whatever the else.
Anyway, you still notice there's old F. Chuck to come on, why do you keep asking?
Come on, Donald.
Why do you keep going?
Why do you keep going on this?
Hey, Chuck.
Why do you ask all these hypotheticals?
I you know, uh we know they circle the wagons and defend the Democrats.
We know, but this is just blatantly, blatantly honest.
Or or blatantly uh transparent with F. Chuck trying to limit the damage to Hillary here.
So now we move uh back to the today show.
Still on NBC, but this is the Today Show today.
Matt Wower says, You uh you fired right back at Hillary after the debate on Saturday night.
She said that your words on this ban of Muslims in her country become ISIS's best recruiting tool, that they're actually showing people videos of your comments.
You said there's no proof there's no tape, thus she's a liar, and you say she lies a lot.
But don't you open yourself up to the very same criticism when it comes to your claims that thousands of Muslims celebrated on 9-11?
There's no tape.
There's no proof.
So are you guilty by your same standard?
Well, first of all, there is proof because many people saw that happen, Matt, as you know.
It was written about in the Washington Post and numerous other places.
But as far as Hillary is concerned, whether it's Whitewater or the email scandal, she always lies.
And now to be saying that we're just right in the perfect spot with respect to ISIS, I don't think that's a lie.
I really don't think she knows what she's doing.
She's been a mess no matter where she's been.
She's created a mess.
You look at her record as Secretary of State.
So, Matt Wower says, I went back to your own book, The Art of the Deal.
You wrote about some of the things that you said in the past.
I play the people's fantasies, I call it truthful hyperbole.
It's an innocent form of exaggeration, very effective form of promotion.
So is Hillary Clinton lying or is she taking a page out of your playbook?
Matt, you're talking about people dying.
You're talking about making up tapes and videos which don't exist.
Her spokesperson last night made the statement, and I think she said she was sorry.
She said the videos do not exist.
Her spokesperson said this.
So what am I gonna tell you?
Now I would say this, Matt.
I will demand an apology from Hillary, okay?
You can be the messenger.
I will demand an apology from Hillary.
She should apologize.
She lies about emails, she lies about whitewater, she lies about everything.
She will be a disaster as President.
Now understand, none of that bothers Matt Wauer.
And none of it bothers F. Chuck Todd.
They don't care Hillary's lying.
They don't care that she may be insane.
They don't care that she might be unstable.
They don't care that she might be destructively incompetent.
All they know is they have to limit the damage.
And they limit the damage by trying to ask questions of Trump and make him look even worse.
And thus hypocritical.
And we will be back.
As you uh as you know, folks, Lindsay Gramnesty has uh pulled out of the Republican presidential race.
And he he said today that uh the wing, his wing of the party has collapsed.
He said, What uh what's happened here is sort of my lane of the party has collapsed.
He said this in an interview with CNN.
At the end of the day, I'm not gonna be competitive in my state if I'm not competitive outside my state.
And he basically said the rhino wing is dead.
That's such a crock.
Senator, have you seen the budget?
I mean, your wing of the party is alive and well.
At least in the belt way.
Jackie in Hartford, Connecticut, back to the phones we go.
Thank you for waiting, and hello.
Hello.
I think you've kind of stole a little of my thunder.
How so?
Talking about Hillary in the uh ladies room.
It's possible that she had to go in there and uh make, shall we say a change?
Because those liquid.
Wait, wait, wait, change what?
Uh you call them depends.
Oh, you mean diapers?
Well, there's diapers and pads and other things they have.
I guess.
Yeah, yeah.
Uh but I mean they only hold so much liquid.
And she still has I wouldn't know.
I mean, I'm sorry for stealing your thunder.
I really do only had two plus whatever, more time to go, so but we'll have to notice if she has a glass of water there, if she drinks any.
Well, even so.
I mean, look, I understand when people of a certain age uh get to a certain age that they're not able to go eight hours or so like their dogs or when they were younger they could go without without having to hit the head.
And so but two hours.
In some cases, depending on and like I said, maybe that's the reason she wanted to be alone in the uh ladies' room.
Well, that no, that's not why she wanted to be alone.
One of the reasons.
Look, I appreciate you're trying to make ex not excuses.
You're trying to explain.
You're trying to explain in a legitimate way.
She didn't want anybody in there because she's got this queen type she probably resents having to use that bathroom in the first place.
And by God, if there's going to be somebody else in there to witness her being in there, just didn't gonna happen.
Yes, and especially if she may have a slight problem.
I've never I've never known a candidate not to make it back from a break in a debate.
I may maybe it's happened.
I just I've never known it to uh to happen.
Anyway, it's not a big deal.
No, well, I'll tell you what I want to apologize for.
You know, here we are.
This is Christmas week.
I mean, we're four or five days, depending on how you count it.
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
And I I normally, and I made reference to this last week, this is the strangest month of December.
Normally, and and the last three or four have been.
Normally when we get in December and late December and all that, I mean, the subject matter here changes and it becomes I don't know, more certainly less pressure packed, more jocular and so forth.
But I I really may have sounded like a little bit of a downer today when I opened the program, and I apologize if that's the case.
I'm not it just ticks me off.
It just I think back to these seven years and how it's really set me off when I just realized today that we still have a majority of people on our side who still haven't figured out what's going on, or only recently are figuring it out.
And it just it just so unnecessary.
All of this seven years, there hasn't been any pushback for all the reasons that we have discussed, and it just hit me today.
So I have spent the first hour, hour and a half detailing all of this.
And if it's a downer, I apologize.
It's uh certainly not my intention to be a downer during this week in any way, shape, manner, or form.
But it's the same time I would I would if I went home today and had not discussed any of this with you, I'd have I'd have had a guilt complex about that.
So it's one of those can't win either way kinds of things.
But it is a genuine, genuine problem, and this next election.
Well, I I don't even want to go there right now.
I just um I'll save all that for the uh coming of the new year.
Now I mentioned earlier in the program that I was again or am again half of the soundbite roster today.
And is the usual case I have delayed playing those sound bites here until the final half hour.
Let's start Friday afternoon Mechanicsville, Virginia.
Senator Cruz held a press conference before a campaign rally.
And during the QA, he had a little back and forth with a female reporter.
I just heard Ross Himbo criticizing Donald Trump or criticizing you.
So what's your reaction?
Listen, I love Rush Limbaugh.
He is a powerful voice for freedom and conservative principles.
And as it concerns Donald Trump, Donald Trump's a friend of mine.
There are an awful lot of folks in the media that want to see a cage match between me and Donald Trump.
I think the Washington establishment is desperate for that battle.
I have no interest in giving them what they want.
I just heard the Schlimbo glitzing Trump deciding you.
What do you should re Boy, journalism's so easy today.
What do you think of what X said about you?
Seems to be the number one question journalists ask these days.
So same place.
Mechanicsville, Virginia, Cruz and uh another unidentified reporter had this exchange.
The reporter said, at the time you said that you uh you supported what you were pushing because it would legalize the undocumented.
This is the reporter trying to either nail Cruz down or clarify the argument he was having with Rubio over legalization a gang eight bill.
That statement is false.
Jeff Sessions and I both stood on the Senate floor, were assailed from all directions.
I spent 30 minutes on the radio with Rush Limbaugh.
During that half hour Rush Limbaugh interview, the phones on Capitol Hill erupted as people across this country lit up the phones, and we turned the debate.
Senator Jeff Sessions has come out publicly and said, Ted is telling the truth, Marco is not telling the truth.
And Rush Limbaugh has come out publicly and said, Ted is telling the truth, Marco is not telling the truth.
As John Adams famously said, facts are stubborn things.
Well, now wait a minute.
Nobody's I haven't accused anybody of lying here.
I've just all I've tried to do is properly characterize what what the debate was.
This is about the poison pill that either was or wasn't a poison pill.
This was this is this is about uh essentially there's a gang of eight, not a gang of nine.
The gang of eight, Senator Rubio's in it in the picture show him in it, and Cruz isn't.
And so members of the gang eight are trying to make the case that Cruz at one point would have made it a gang of nine because he was for legalization, but not for citizenship.
And mixing definitions and so on so forth.
Some are trying to say, well, hell, there's no difference in the two.
If you're for legalization, you're for amnesty and all that, and they're trying to trip Cruz up.
I was just recapturing the argument as it went back and forth and trying to translate it for people.
Anyway, Ted Cruz was on Greta on Friday night on the Fox News channel.
She said, why in the days and weeks and months after June 4th, 2013, did it never come up that what you were doing, your amendment was a poison pill.
It came up over and over and over again.
Chuck Schumers publicly said he knew it was a poison pill.
In the last 24 hours, Senator Jeff Sessions has gone out publicly and said, Ted is right and Marco's not telling the truth.
And Rush Limbaugh has come out publicly and said, Ted is right, Marco's not telling the truth.
So you see, uh, ladies and gentlemen, what no commentary needed here.
Just playing you the sound bites, half of which I star in today.
CNN State of the Union, Jake Tapper spoke with Mitch McConnell, the Senate Republican leader, about my criticism of Republicans over the passage of the budget.
Rush Limbaugh said, quote, it's as though Pelosi is still running the House and Harry Reid is still running the Senate.
I'm guessing you disagree with these assessments.
We can't do things, one party only in a time of divided government.
But there were other important things done in the context of that overall bill.
For example, we got rid of a 40-year-old relic of the past called the oil export ban.
So it was a big compromise.
That's what you have to do when you have divided government.
Well, there you have it, uh, folks.
Now, this is this it fits.
I mean, this is they're if if if they're doing one thing, they're staying focused on the tune they're singing.
Remember, when all they had was the House.
The Senate said, Well, I'm sorry we can't do anything here.
We don't have the Senate.
The House can pass all at once.
We can't pass it over here, so it can never be sent to Obama.
So voters, okay.
So they gave the Senate to Republicans.
They elected a majority of Republicans in the Senate.
And therefore, they expected a lot of compromise legislation to go to be sent to Obama.
They expected a Republican Party to take a stand, expected the Republican Party to stand up and say no, even if Obama did veto it.
And the Republicans said, Hey, all Obama's gonna do is veto it.
There's no sense passing anything.
He's just gonna veto it.
we don't have the White House.
We got divided government.
And if we got divided government, there's no way we can prevail on anything.
We don't have the White House yet.
So on the budget deal, hey, we got the oil export ban lifted.
First time in 40 years.
I mean, it's got a cramp.
It's actual great thing.
It's a great thing.
And so that's as much as we can do.
As much as we can do because you got a divided government, all you can do is compromise.
So we still can't do anything because we don't have the White House, you see.
We're making as much ground as we can.
We're covering as much ground as we can.
Um that oil export ban thing.
That's I explained, excuse me, how that's going to work.
Let me just remind you and prepare you for it again.
This is going to have the effect in time of raising prices, which, if you're the oil industry, is a good thing, okay?
And the oil industry is donors, right?
So it's a good thing.
And to a certain extent, oil can get too low.
It it it the cheaper it gets, if it becomes unprofitable to get it out of the ground, that's not good.
So there's a happy medium and a and a price balance.
If it get it, it can get too low, not for consumers.
They get gasoline under two bucks in certain places now for the first time in a long time.
But industry wide, it can have negative ramifications.
Well, lifting the 40-year-old oil export ban is going to facilitate the process of oil prices rising, but not overnight.
So let's say it's pretend it's next September, October, 2016.
Gas prices are rising.
Oil prices are rising.
Democrats out there skewing big oil once again, raping the average American, causing the price of gasoline to skyrocket.
And the Democrats go, wait a minute, we remember why this is the Republicans in that budget deal, they demanded that we agree with them to lift the ban on the export of oil that we went along with it.
And look what's happening.
The Republican Party in that budget deal is ending up passing money from your back pocket right to big oil.
And that's going to be a campaign issue next fall.
You watch, make book on it.
Make a note right now on December 21st, 2015 that I L. Rushbow.
Said so.
Sit tight.
We'll be back.
Don't go away.
Now there's even there's five more sound bites here that are based around me.
One with Teeth Torbes, Lou Dobbs, uh Republican strategirist Kathy Lynn Taylor, Betsy Woodruff, Newt Gingrich.
May have to hold these over to uh tomorrow.
Also, the staff here is imploring me to comment on what happened in the Miss Universe pageant, where Miss Columbia had the crown literally ripped off her head because it was awarded to her mistakenly.
And it should have gone to uh the Miss Philippines, who eventually got the crown.
Uh Steve Harvey.
Tough break.
They gave him the wrong information.
So he crowns the wrong winner.
It's a life lesson.
Whatever they give you, they can take away instantaneously.
Don't believe anything until you get out of the building with it.
I mean, Trump can see what happens when they kick me out, see what happens when I'm no longer part of it, see what happens.
Somebody came along and screwed it up, can't write the teleprompter, can't write the right name on a card, the host doesn't know the difference.
What a waste.
It is a very sad thing.
It's very, very embarrassing.
Miss Columbia probably have more fame now than if she had won the thing.
And since that's what everybody wants, it's a win-win for her.
Yeah, go grab soundbite number seven.
Steve Steve Forbes thinks I'm wrong on the budget deal.
He's on the Fox Business Network Friday.
And uh was it uh David Asmond says uh Rush Limbaugh says the Republicans threw away the power of the purse By giving everything to the Democrats.
Chuck Schumer loves it.
So is this good for conservatives or what?
There are a couple of things in there that I think uh the uh liberals are overlooking.
One is removing that oil ban, which is good.
Uh second thing is uh postponing uh the device tax on Obamacare, postponing the Cadillac tax on Obamacare.
This is the beginning of the unwinding of Obamacare.
The other thing is that by making permanent certain tax breaks, it'll perversely make it easier in 2017 for a president to simplify the tax code will actually make tax cutting and simplification easier.
I don't think the Democrats realize that.
A lot of people don't.
So uh I just I don't know.
I've heard it all before.
Hey, you know what?
We may have lost everything here, but there's a couple things in there.
And the next budget that comes around, we're gonna skunk them.
We're gonna skunk the demo, they don't even have a slightest idea how.
We have set them up like you can't believe.
We're gonna ram tax cuts through them and they're not gonna know what hit them.
And this has been the way it's gone for the last five years.
Every time we take it in the shorts, we are told how we have set them up.
And they and they just continue winning and winning and winning.
And by the way, folks, if I may say one more time on this postponing the device tax on Obamacare and postponing the Cadillac tax, you know, that can work in a detrimental way.
Those are very, very punitive things.
If those things were implemented, it would do a lot to make people mad.
We are now delaying elements of Obamacare that people would really be ticked off about.
And we're just allowing these Obamacare tentacles to get woven even deeper into society, making it tougher to ever repeal this thing.
I I just I don't know.
I'm boondoggled if you ask me.
Again, folks, I'm sorry if today was a bit of a downer.
I'll fix it tomorrow.
Tomorrow's our last program, at least hosted by me for the year, barring some unforeseen whatever.
In the meantime, see you in 21 hours.
Export Selection
