Time Text
Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
Yeah, greetings, my friends, and welcome.
Great to have you here.
Yes, sir, one of the remaining loan outposts of sanity and reality, one of the last remaining outposts with links to America's Greatness.
Rush Limbaugh program and the EIB network.
Happy to have you here.
Happy to be that link to America's greatness.
It shall never be broken, folks.
The telephone number, if you want to be on the program, is 800 282-2882, the email address, Lrushbo at EIBNet.com.
Look, if you're trying to follow this Rubio Cruz thing, it long ago got so deep in the woods that that it's it's it's it's gotten so muddled here that you're gonna be thankful for this program in not too long a time because what we do here is make the complex understandable.
And I'm gonna wade deep into the muck, and I'm gonna go in there in the weeds, I'm gonna grab the essentials, I'm gonna bring them out, and I'm gonna tell you what it is all about.
Which is very simple.
Marco Rubio was part of the gang of eight trying to secure amnesty and wishes he wasn't.
Ted Cruz never was, and they're trying to make it out like he was.
At the end of the day, when people go vote, people are gonna remember of the two, it was Marco Rubio that was a member of the gang of eight and Ted Cruz that wasn't, and that's as complicated or simple as it's gonna end up being.
But I'm gonna tell you how we get there.
Because it's fascinating.
It is I mean, it is fascinating to get deep into that's the end result.
I mean, that's the bottom line.
That's what voters are gonna remember when this is all said and done.
But the process here has been fascinating to uh to follow and to try to understand.
I've needed some assistance myself, I will admit.
Um, only because some people were saying and and writing things that I couldn't possibly comprehend.
I I needed to go to translators.
Um, you know, I'm I'm not really deep into uh I mean I I can imitate, I can impersonate deep intellectual ease, you know, the language they speak, but sometimes sometimes even I'm happy to admit uh need help deciphering when it's written.
Anyway, we'll get to that in uh in mere moments.
In the meantime, while all of that was going on and occupying a lot of attention because what that Cruz Rubio thing is really all about is the failure of Jeb Bush.
And the establishment in the presidential campaign is doing everything they can to get Rubio and Cruz as the final two.
For some reason they're still of the belief that somehow somewhere down the line, Trump's not gonna be a factor.
And they they really want to set this up.
Uh Marco Rubio is is essentially the heir to what was to have been the Jeb Bush campaign.
Well, that's been occupying a lot of people's attention.
And while that's been going on, the country was just sold down to River again by your very Republican Party.
I have a headline here from the Washington Times.
White House declares total victory over GOP in budget battle.
That headlines of misnomer, there was never a battle.
None of this was opposed.
The Republican Party didn't stand up to any of it.
And the die has been cast for a long time on this.
I know many of you are dispirited, depressed, angry, combination of all of that, but folks, there was no other way this could go.
Because two years ago, when the Republican Party declared they would never do anything that would shut down the government and they would not impeach Obama.
There were no obstacles in Obama's way, and there were no obstacles in the way of the Democrat Party.
When you surrender the power of the purse, and that's the primary power the House of Representatives has, not a penny of money can be spent in this country by this government without the House of Representatives authorizing it.
Obama can spend all he wants, but if the House doesn't give him the mechanism, he can't spend any.
any of it.
But the Republicans squandered that.
They gave up the power of the purse.
And the reason they did that is because for some inexplicable reason, they are literally paranoid, scared to death of even being accused of doing something that would shut down the government.
So to avoid even the accusation that they were going to or would ever even think of shutting down the government.
They signaled that whatever Obama wanted to spend, he would get because they figured that had less damage to them politically than the allegation that they were shutting down the government.
So, very simply, ever since the Republican Party became the party of keeping the government open at all costs.
We get bills like this.
There's simply no stopping the Democrats.
There's no mechanism.
Every constitutional mechanism found in the power of the purse, separation of powers, the Republican Party years ago gave it away in total fear of the media.
Now there's also a factor that needs to be mentioned, too, and that is that many Republican donors want every bit of this money spent, and they have donated voluminously to key Republicans in order to get the money spent.
So it's not all Republican fears, it's not all Republican caving.
A lot of it is Republican fealty and loyalty to some of their donors.
Some people today looking at this, this is 2009 pages, it's said to be a spending bill.
So, Among the things that it does, it fully funds Obamacare.
It fully funds Planned Parenthood.
That to me is unforgivable, with everything now known about what goes on behind closed doors at Planned Parenthood.
And that the federal government led by a Republican Party sees fit to pay for it.
It is beyond comprehension, and it is a total squandering of moral authority to fully fund the butchery at Planned Parenthood.
This spending bill fully pays for Obama's refugee plans.
Fully.
This spending bill, this budget bill, quadruples the number of visas Obama wants for foreign workers.
This is even a slap at American Union workers.
Not the leaders.
The union leaders seem to be in favor of it.
But blue-collar people, known as working people, have been sold down the river along with everybody else here.
This spending bill even fully pays for everything.
Every dime asked for by Obama on all of this idiocy that's tied up into climate change.
Everything Obama wanted, everything he asked for, he got.
You go down the list of things, and it's there.
And this is causing some people to wonder if they just dreamed all that stuff about Boehner resigning.
And then other people are wondering if they even dreamed all that stuff about the Republicans winning the largest number of seats they've had in Congress since the Civil War.
We had two midterm elections in 2010 and 2004 to 2014, which were landslide victories for the Republican Party.
The Democrat Party lost over a thousand seats nationwide in just those two elections.
People went to the polls in droves wanting exactly what was rubber stamped last night or what will be stopped.
And instead, they showed up in record numbers and they turned out and they just they they defeated Democrats down the ballot in the process they elected Republicans to stop this.
And now the Republicans have the largest number of seats in the House they've had in Congress since the Civil War.
And it hasn't made any difference at all.
It is as though Nancy Pelosi's still running the House and Harry Reid is still running the Senate.
Betrayed is not even the word here.
What has happened here is worse than betrayal, and betrayal's pretty bad, but it's worse than that.
This was out and out in our face lying.
From the campaigns to individual statements made about the philosophical approach Republicans had to all this spending, there is no Republican Party.
You know, we don't even need a Republican Party if they're going to do this.
You know, just elect Democrats, disband the Republican Party, let the Democrats run it, because that's what's happening anyway.
And these same Republican leaders doing this can't for the life of them figure out why Donald Trump has all the support that he has.
They really cannot figure this out.
Repeated stabs in the back like this, which have been going on for years, combined with Obama's policy destruction of this country is what has given rise to Donald Trump.
If Donald Trump didn't exist, and if the Republican Party actually does want to win someday, they have to win Vennium.
It's mind-boggling when you figure out everything that has been granted Obama.
All the money that tax increases, the Cadillac, plans on Obamacare, all kinds of punitive things in Obamacare delayed yet again so that people will not be made aware of the pain and suffering Obamacare is going to cause.
This budget even gives Obamacare cover by delaying some of the most harsh aspects of it.
And the reason for that is delay the harsh aspects.
You prevent people from learning what they are.
At the same time, you get more years for the tentacles of Obamacare to deeply weave themselves into the fabric of society, making repeal of the thing more politically difficult.
So you could also say that the Republican budget bill actually improves the odds of Obamacare surviving and growing.
You have to look long and hard to this whole thing to find any opposition to anything the Democrat Party wants.
Jeff Sessions, Senator from Alabama, is calling this a betrayal, fully funding the Obama immigration agenda, the climate change agenda, increasing foreign workers.
He said this is why Trump is now triumphing here and probably will win.
The voters have come to believe that their own party's elites are not only uninterested in defending their interests, but as with this legislation and fast tracking the president's international trade deal, Republican voters would not be wrong to conclude that their own Republican leaders are hostile to them, just as Democrat leaders are hostile to Republican voters.
And the sessions points out, this is a further disenfranchisement of the American voter because The American voter clearly in the last two midterm elections has stood up and loudly stated, no, don't want this, stop this.
It didn't matter.
It's so bad that over at Slate.com, they're making excuses for Paul Ryan.
I think in some places in the left-wing media, they can't believe the scope of the betrayal.
They're feeling a little guilty at how easy this has been.
They're feeling a little guilty here.
I'm joking, of course.
But one of the Salon.com columnists said, hey, you know, you guys need to cut Ryan some slack.
He was left with a huge mess and not much time to fix it.
Isn't that what they always said about Boehner?
He was left with a huge mess.
Isn't that what they always say about Obama?
He was left with a huge mess, man.
It was much worse than he even knew.
Nobody told him the truth.
It seems to be a constant refrain and excuse.
According to Jeff Sessions, the American people elected Republicans to the majority in Congress in 2014 as a rejection of the Obama administration and its immigration policies to any number of other things, and that loyalty has been repaid with betrayal.
Sessions added, as feared, this budget deal, the effect of it is to fully fund the president's entire emigration agenda.
Planned Parenthood unscathed in spending bill.
From a very happy and cheering the Hill.com.
Planned Parenthood praising Democrats in Congress after the spending bill released early Wednesday morning.
Spared the organization from cuts.
As expected, the spending bill does not defund Planned Parenthood, a clear deal breaker for Democrats.
But the absence of even spending cuts is still noteworthy given the intensity of the push to defund the group.
There was never any intensity diff.
That's what we now know.
There wasn't any intensity to defund a whole just a bunch of words.
Just a bunch of people standing up saying they were going to.
This wouldn't stand.
They were going to lead an effort to defund it, but nobody ever meant it.
Planned Parenthood Vice President Dana Singaser said praised the Congressional Democrats on Wednesday for holding the line against these harmful policy writers and cuts to key women's health programs.
Also from TheHill.com, another reporter cheering as well.
Funds for Obama climate deal survive.
They were never in threatened, never imperiled.
There wasn't a battle.
Secret deal, quadruples, foreign workers.
Chamber of Commerce backs guest worker program.
Translation, more cheap labor, will eagerly be brought into the country under a visa program, and they will be employed.
Hey, why not rush?
The unemployment rate's 5%.
We got plenty of room for foreign workers.
Right.
Take a break and be back and continue.
That, to me, all this Republican campaign stuff going on, obfuscating or clouding this a little bit, but that really is the news of the last 12 to 18 hours.
Back after this, folks.
So just William Fox News here during the break, and I see a little headline at the bottom of the screen.
Hillary Clinton launches charm offensive to win over Republican voters.
Well, now that's not possible.
I mean, a charm offense is not possible.
Winning over Republican voters, hell.
Anything's possible.
You know what she said?
She said, I do not have horns.
And everybody's applauding it.
Oh man, look at Hillary.
She's out there.
She's an Omaha.
She's in Nebraska.
She's targeting Republicans.
She's claiming that she won a charm offensive.
She's going to convert Republicans.
She's assuring them she doesn't have horns.
I.e., she's not the devil.
It reminds me of Tea Party Senate nominee in Delaware, Christine O'Donnell, who said, I'm not a witch, and they ran her out of the race for it.
They'd run ads claiming, I guess, that she had, I don't know, flown around on a broom at some point.
So she goes up there, no, no, no, no, I'm not a witch.
And everybody starts laughing at her and saying, Oh my God, that's a horrible way to run a.
You can't say in an ad you're not a witch.
Really?
Well, it's okay for Hillary to come out and say, hey, I don't have horns.
I'm just looking for a brief moment of jocularity here, folks, because when I get back to what Ryan and the Republicans enabled in this budget.
Sanctuary cities fully funded.
All Middle East Mid East immigration programs fully funded.
All these that have been exploited by terrorists.
Sanctuary cities fully funded.
All refugees fully funded.
The release of criminal aliens fully funded.
Everything.
The Democrat leftist wet dream has just been paid for.
The saga begun in 1988.
And actually before that, continues here on the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
So Hillary's out there saying that she doesn't have horns, or Bill does.
One horny dude, still to this day.
800 282 2882, if you want to be on the program.
You know, you heard that Vladimir Putin came out and uh and spoke highly of Trump.
And I have here a story, I think.
What's the headline of this?
Yes.
UK Daily Mail online.
Will this be the kiss of death for Donald Trump?
Vladimir Putin praises the White House candidate as an outstanding man.
After staring down months of opposition and criticism, Donald Trump has finally received a rare piece of ringing unequivocal support.
Unfortunately, it comes from Russian President Vladimir Putin and the KGB.
Today Putin offered his thoughts on the Republican Party nomination for the White House and offered nothing but praise for the Trumpster.
He said Trump's a very outstanding man, unquestionably talented.
He's the absolute leader of the presidential race.
And so now they're all running around.
Is that going to be it?
Is this going to be the kiss of death for Trump?
Oh my God, this is the worst thing could happen.
This is the last thing Trump wants.
This has got to be the end of it.
I mean, you don't get an endorsement from a guy running Russia and survive.
Don't be so surprised, folks.
Don't be so sure.
People who like Donald Trump are probably pretty happy that at least we have somebody out there trying to kill terrorists, and that would be Putin.
Who would have ever thought you'd see the day where a Republican presidential candidate and a Russian leader have something in common.
And that is, and and they're about the only two that do.
And that is killing terrorists.
Gary Kasparov, the established and well-known chess grandmaster, who, by the way, hates Putin.
Gary Kasparov hates Putin.
So he tweeted something that's pretty funny when he heard that Putin had endorsed Trump.
He said Putin endorses Trump naturally.
This clears the way for Assad, Hamini, and Kim Jong-un to also announce their support for him.
Dictator landslide.
And of course, Trump critics in the United States are jumping on this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm going to get to this Cruz and Rubio thing in just a second.
It really, folks, it it it I could do this one of two ways.
I could go as deep in the weeds as this has gone since the Republican debate on Tuesday night, or I could cut through it all.
I'm probably going to do a combination of this.
I just cut through it all and get to the bottom line that's really going to matter when people go to the polls.
But I think I'm going to I'm going to go somewhat into the weeds and try to explain what really has gone on here to the extent that You have been following it.
I don't wouldn't be surprised if a number of you just tuned this stuff all out once the media got in on this and was trying to find something to disqualify crew as it gets so esoteric is not the word.
I mean, it is substantive for people that are uh into the the nuts and bolts of policy.
It's a subsidy.
I don't mean to be putting it down.
I'm not I'm not trying to relegate it to uh irrelevancy.
It's very, very serious stuff.
It's just that uh it can get confusing, and that doesn't service or help anybody if you just do nothing but confuse them.
What I try to do is make the complex understandable.
But before we get to that, there's some other things here in the stack of stuff that actually go pretty well with the budget sellout.
And when I say they go pretty well, it's actually not positive.
It's well, as long as that's going to happen, some of this other stuff happening makes total sense too.
Try this.
The latest Christmas time lunacy comes from Johnson County, Kentucky.
The Scroll District in Johnson County, Kentucky, has censored an elementary school presentation of a Charlie Brown Christmas.
A Charlie Brown Christmas school presentation, elementary school up to the sixth grade, young kids, has to be censored because it has deemed has been deemed to be too Christian.
The Johnson County, Kentucky District also ordered the schools to remove all religious references from all of their upcoming Christmas productions.
At one school, Silent Night was replaced with a Christmas version of the whip nay nay song.
Teachers at W.R. Castle Elementary School were directed to remove the moving scene where Linus shares the true meaning of Christmas by reading from the Gospel of Luke.
Can't do that.
It's offensive.
Superintendent Tom Salier confirmed that the entire message was excised from the program after they received a single complaint.
One oddball, one kook.
One busybody complained, and the entire production had to be censored.
Charlie Brown Christmas.
Ninth graders at Riverhead's Hascruel were given an assignment to copy the Islamic Creed known as the Shahada during world geography class.
Wait till you hear this.
This is in the UK Daily Mail as well.
A lesson in calligraphy has caused an uproar among some parents at a Virginia Haskruel when students were instructed to write a Muslim statement of faith that read, quote, there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
Students were mandated to write that.
The incident took place last Friday during a world geography class at Riverheads High School in Staunton.
The lesson of the day focused on world religions, among them Islam.
As part of the assignment, social studies teacher had her ninth grade students copy a piece of Arabic text known as the Shahada, which is the most common Islamic creed.
Recitation of the Shahada in public is the first formal step in conversion to Islam.
However, according to school officials, the ninth graders were not asked to translate the statement or to read it aloud.
They were also shown copies of the Quran.
Female students were invited to try on a scarf as part of a lesson about the Islamic concept of modest dress.
But over there in Kentucky, they are canceling a Charlie Brown Christmas because you must read from the Gospel of Luke.
But over here in Virginia, ninth graders are given the assignment to copy the Islamic creed known as the Shahada, which is there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
And doing this in public, the Shahada, first formal step in conversion to Islam.
Students were not asked to read it out loud yet, but that probably is come.
One of the parents, Kimberley Herndon, accused the Riverhead social studies teacher Cheryl Laporte of indoctrinating students into Islamic faith.
School officials said that Laporte's lesson was in line with the standards of learning in Virginia.
Virginia now is the third state in addition to Tennessee and Georgia that has been caught instructing children to write the Shahada, the conversion prayer to Islam as part of required course materials.
The ACJU, that's the conservative alternative to the ACLU, is suing to stop this.
And says that it is coming.
Are you ready?
You will not be surprised that the instructions for the students to read the shahada, and for female students to put on a scarf to learn what it is like to learn about modest dress.
The instruction, the mandate is coming from the federal Department of Education.
The regime, the Obama administration, is requiring this.
Or maybe it is more proper to say, suggesting this.
So now, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, three states caught instructing children, ninth graders, to read the opening recitation that begins the conversion to Islam.
Over here in Kentucky, Johnson County, canceling censoring a Charlie Brown Christmas, because there's Christianity in it.
And people can't figure out why what's happening in the Republican presidential primary is happening.
Try this also from the UK Daily.
You know, I don't know where we would be without the UK Daily Mail.
Because all of this news that I share with you, none of it, very little of it is found in American media.
Transgender couple plan to have kids together using his eggs and her sperm.
Let me read that to you again.
Transgender couple planned to have kids together using his eggs and her sperm.
Transgender couple planned to have kids together using his eggs and her sperm.
Biologically not possible.
That doesn't matter.
Jasmine Marino, 18, lives in California, was born a male, but started transitioning two years ago.
Her boyfriend Ryan Said, 24 from Ontario, Canada, was born as a female.
However, he has been living as a man for four years.
Neither Jasmine nor Ryan have undergone full gender reassignment surgery.
But they say that their sex life is still great.
Oh, let me interrupt this.
I finally have an answer to a question that I was asked on this program maybe three weeks or a month ago.
And I didn't know the answer at the time, and we were left here to engage in wild guesses.
But I now have the answer.
And it's right here in the Daily Caller.
Male suicide momers, jihadists in Islam, are promised after martyrdom that they get 73 virgins or 72, whatever it is, virgins.
And when the San Bernardino 2 happened, we had a couple calls.
Well, what did female jihadists get?
Yeah, we didn't know.
Okay, here you go.
You know what?
I'm gonna take a break here, and if any of you, it is Christmas time, then the schools may be out in some places.
If you think that you wouldn't want either yourself or your family to hear discussions of genitalia and capabilities, then you might want to tune out.
I'll clue you as to when to do that and when to come back.
Come again right after the break.
Don't want to miss this.
Okay, I have to mention this.
I just saw this on CNN.
I have to mention this.
I'll get back to the what are the female jihadists get after they martyr themselves and end up in uh paradise.
Just this hang on.
I'm watching this guy, the lawyer for the Freddie Gray family and family in Baltimore, Billy Murphy.
He's African American, but I'm only mentioning that for information purposes, no nothing, nothing else.
It just it's it's uh relevant now.
They're discussing the mistrial.
A black officer was on trial for murder, manslaughter, whatever it is against uh as as Merilyn Mosby said, a great young man.
Freddy great.
Uh anyway, mistrial, black officer.
And they're all befuddled.
They can't figure it out because they had a perfectly diverse jury.
What could have gone wrong?
They have whites, they had blacks, they had women, they have men, they're counting it up, they're adding percentages, they're looking at this politically correctly, they're good at all these diversity equations.
They're examining a number of women versus blacks, males versus females, and they're looking at it, and they gave it was a perfectly diverse jury.
How could there have been a mistrial?
And then this attorney was asked to question, what doesn't make sense here?
You have a perfectly diverse jury, and you have a black cop and you have a black victim.
What in the world does race matter anyway when this is perfectly designed jury and constructed jury?
Why was there a mistrial?
And this guy says, You know, I got to tell you something.
There are black cops in Baltimore, and there are white cops in Baltimore.
There are black cops everywhere, and there are white cops everywhere.
I'll tell you the way it is.
The black cops here in Baltimore, they do engage in abuse of citizens, just like the white cops do, and you know why?
Because the white cops are who define the culture of the police department.
So the black cops, when they get hired, they have to fall in line or they are ostracized.
And so this guy was saying black cops do commit abuses against black citizens, but only because they have to fall in line with the white cop culture, or else their lives are hell.
I'm he didn't say that, I'm paraphrasing.
He was essentially asked, how in the world, because the the question was, how in the world is a black cop, why would a black cop be mean to a black citizen?
This is what the reporter asked.
I mean, if that does not expose just blatant racism, why would a black cop abuse a black?
What where was the solidarity?
Why didn't a black cop kind of help the black citizen here?
Well, you gotta understand.
There are black cops that violate the code, but they do it because the white cops define the culture.
And I'm just sitting here, I'm watching this, combined with all the other news out there today, and I'm thinking.
Where is this tipping point I spoke of yesterday?
Anyway, okay, I'm gonna count down from five.
If you're still listening, what you hear offends you, it's on you, not me.
You've been warned.
5-4, 3-2, 1.
The Prophet Muhammad said, the dwellers of paradise have clothing that never wears out, youth that never wanes, and a penis that never bends.
That is what a female jihadist gets.
And this is from the Daily Caller quoting Sheikh Mashur bin Hassan al-Salman.
The dwellers of paradise have clothing that never wears out, youth that never wanes, and a penis that never bends.
Instead of 73 virgins.
So that's how it works.
I'm just telling you here what it.
You know, somebody could really save a lot of lives here.
If you just tell these female jihadists, you get a penis that doesn't bend with Viagram.
If it's that bad, give the guy Viagra, or else go out and buy Plan Paradise.
I'm sure it can help you out here with a well, I don't know.
Dildo.
