Time Text
Talent on lawn from a god.
Rushlinbaugh, the mayor of Realville.
I don't live in fantasy world.
I don't live on fantasy island.
I don't live in the land of make-believe.
And I don't tell myself things are peachy keen when they're not.
Great to have you with us, 800 282-2882 and email address L Rushbo at EIB net.com.
Look, folks, I really am not through with the Iranian stuff.
I've got sound bites galore, and I've got to get some of them.
But I'm gonna get into other stuff here first before I get back and double back and get these sound bites.
But, but, but just one thing here.
When Obama went out there and made his speech this morning with Biden standing over his right shoulder, one of the things Obama said, every path to a nuclear weapon has been cut off.
He said the deal is not just built on trust, but on verification.
Now I look, and we we had the we've had the two liberal callers today, nice people, new Castrati, when one of them was one Charles uh from uh uh Martha's Vineyard, and one from um what was it, Oklahoma?
The last one, our last caller, where was he from?
That doesn't matter.
Um the bottom line is everything's okay because it's gonna be okay.
It's just fine.
And the the caller from Martha's Vincent, well, we we we can't stop them from getting a nuke.
I mean, they're never so close, but but we can we can we can now check.
They they tell themselves these things to make themselves feel better about what they know is a disastrous thing, and they end up believing the lies they tell to each other and themselves.
And I guess you could say they believe Obama when he goes out and says every path to a nuclear weapon's been cut off.
The deal is not built on trust, it's built on verification.
And yet in the Jerusalem Post today, an Obama administration official is quoted as saying there is no any time anywhere inspections.
Well, what the hell is inspections if it's not verification?
How can you verify if you can't inspect?
And while Obama's out saying that every path to a nuclear weapon's been cut off, and it's not based on trust, it's built on verification.
And Obama administration officials said, quote, we don't think that any time anywhere inspections are feasible.
It's just not something that happens anywhere in the world today.
What does this mean?
We think they cheat, we call them up.
Are you cheating?
No!
Us!
We owe you the buddies, no.
What do you mean?
How dare you accuse us?
Okay, okay, okay, just checking.
Have a great day.
And that's it.
Negotiators failed to meet the standard of achieving anytime anywhere access that worth promised.
Members of Congress were promised this.
Obama and his team promised Congress and the American people that there would be any time anywhere inspections, any time anywhere access.
And now we know that that's not true either.
Just to repeat, in the event we think there's a cheat or there has been a violation, we don't get to go cheat, see, or check.
We have to call the International Atomic Agency, uh, energy agency, and then they call the Iranians.
And from the moment they call the Iranians and say there's been an allegation you're cheating, a 14-day window opens for the Iranians and the atomic energy agency to negotiate whether or not somebody be allowed in to check.
If the 14 days go by and there's no resolution, then another three days are triggered.
And if nothing happens then, then nothing happens.
And there's a total of 24 days that can go by with nothing happening after the original request for verification's been made.
The Iranians can say no at any time, and there's no mechanism to do anything other than agree with them when they say no.
We have no mechanism to verify any kind of a fear that we have or any evidence that we have that they're cheating.
So there's path to a nuclear weapon has not been cut off, not even close.
And the deal is built on trust and not verification, because we don't have any verification rights in this deal.
And the four American prisoners, among whom one is a journalist that were not released as a result of the deal.
No big deal.
No big deal.
They will be.
The Iranians are good people, but we have to allow them to save face.
They'll be released in a week or two or a month or two, so that the Iranians can make it look like they didn't cave to anything, and they have their manhood intact.
This is another thing we've learned today about the thought process.
Let me ask you something else.
Over in Moscow, keeping an eagle eye on all of this is Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvietev.
What do you think they are seeing today?
What kind of message has been sent to ISIS, for example.
I mean, what do we do when ISIS kidnapped the 200 some girls?
We sent Michelle My Bell Obama out there with a hashtag at Twitter, what was it?
Twit hashtag, Twitter hashtag.
And we were gonna really, really tough.
The hashtag was bring back our girls.
Bring back our girls.
We went hashtag military strategy.
And the girls have not been returned, more have been kidnapped, more have been killed.
And when I pointed out that hashtags were not in nothing but a joke, I was excoriated for having no humanity.
See, I'm the mayor of Realville, and that's if you want, if you want to be accredited, if you want to be thought of as a great compassionate human being, then you join movements like wearing colored ribbons, or you join hashtag movements.
That really says something about you.
That says you're really a good person.
But if you actually point out that that's not going to matter a hill of beans to anything, well, you have just become a real meanie, and you don't have any humanity.
That's really, really mean.
It's cockyed.
Everything is upside down and 180 degrees out of phase.
But again, we move on to some other things.
The New York Post today has a picture.
El Chapo drinking a beer in the co-pilot seat of his private airplane, taken by his son and sent to the American media.
He is taunting us.
El Chapo is a look at me.
I have beer, I'm in my airplane, I'm flying to freedom.
I have girls awaiting me upon my arrival.
By the way, there's an author out there, folks, by the name of Don Winslow.
He's a novelist.
And he has written a lot of novels about the Mexican drug cartels and the DEA and the U.S. war on drugs.
And his latest is called The Cartel, and it's about El Chapo.
And Winslow had a piece published in Oil Places CNN yesterday, in op-ed piece, in which he doesn't believe this tunnel business at all.
I mean, he didn't tunnel is there.
And he acknowledges the tunnel was built, but he thinks the tunnel is just there to be used as an excuse by Mexican prison and government officials.
He thinks that El Chapo was actually walked out the front door of the place.
He thinks that the Mexican prison system and the Mexican government have been so corrupted by the drug cartels because they've got all the money.
You know what I was saying?
When I read his piece, there's something that that struck me.
Socialism is widely spread in Mexico.
Socialism is widely spread all over the world.
But what is one of the hard-called realities of socialism?
The only people that have any money are criminals and governments.
Average ordinary citizens don't have any money.
They do not create wealth.
It's impossible to happen in socialism.
All the money gets taxed and then redistributed in socialism.
So you have the super wealthy until you confiscate their taxes.
You can tax and tax and tax until you confiscate their wealth, they're always going to have money.
But the middle class ceases to exist is as an upwardly mobile economic entity.
And with socialism every what is it?
Socialism breeds corruption because nobody has any money.
So you have except criminals.
So here's a big drug criminal, El Chapo, and he's a multi-billion.
He can pay off government officials and prison officials with more money than they will ever earn in their lifetimes administering the law.
And one of the reasons is socialism.
Nobody earns anything.
There isn't any upward mobility.
There's no moving up in the middle class to the upper middle class or any of that.
It's everything static.
It just struggled with all the things that you can construct as arguments to oppose socialism, that's another one.
It breeds corruption because the only people that have any when you don't have any money, and here comes somebody offering you more than you will ever earn in your life to just let me have filet mignon every night in my jail cell and bring some bring me some prostitutes while you're at it and make sure I get my Viagra, and then in a year and a half, let's engineer my escape, and I'll really take care of you.
And it happens.
And this is in many ways the story of the Mexican drug cartel's relationship with governments and prisons.
And Winslow, again, he thinks that that tunnel, he said they built it, but it just is there as an excuse, prison officials to say, look at how brilliant this prisoner is, right under our noses.
This guy builds a mile-long tunnel and is able to get out this thing like going in a shower.
Wow, what a brilliant criminal.
And everybody marvels at what a great criminal El Chapo is.
When the theory is he was just walked out the door by prison officials, been paid off.
And when you look at Greece, when you look at all of Western Europe, look at all of these countries that feature socialism, and we clearly have enough of our economy that's become socialistic that there is no upward mobility in our millennial class.
They don't even dream of any.
And it just opens the door for all kinds of chicanery, corruption, you name it.
Because money is what makes the world go round.
Everybody wants more than they have.
And when you can't work hard and earn more, when you can't be creative as an entrepreneur and earn more, what are you going to do?
Which is what socialism does.
Socialism shuts down entrepreneurism and creativity and brilliance.
It shuts down economic growth.
It shuts down what most people want is an ongoing improvement in their standard of living.
Now the left would have you to believe they don't care about money.
They're interested in humanitarian things, but don't believe them.
They hoard their money when they get it, and they don't give much of it away.
Their charitable donations are pitiful.
And they want more money as much as anybody else does.
And what they've done is put themselves in positions of power where all the money is.
Washington, D.C. They can get their hands on it before it gets redistributed.
So anyway, here's El Chapo, and he's running around.
But here's another thing about El Chapo.
He ordered his young wife, whose name is Emma Coronel, who is a U.S. citizen.
She's the daughter of another Mexican drug lord.
El Chapo ordered his wife to give birth in California so that his kids will have U.S. citizenship.
Anchor babies.
Now, if El Chapo ordered his own wife to do this, you can bet that he ordered others in his organization to do the same thing.
And of course, the mothers don't even have to be U.S. citizens.
All they have to do is be here when they give birth.
And has his kids are born and become U.S. citizens as a result of being born here.
This is going to allow his gang to get themselves under Obama's generous and humane family reunification plan.
You know how that works.
Why do you think all these miners are being sent alone to the United States of America?
From Central America, ill Salvador and so forth.
Would you put your kid on a train for days, 28 days, unchaperoned, fingers crossed that your kid gets to America?
Why would you do that?
Because you know that the American president's going to bring you in to reunite you with your kid if he gets there, and that's how you're going to beat immigration law.
That's why all the miners are floating across the border.
That's why all the parents of these minors are risking letting them go.
While that the time we're told that it's war-torn and economically ravaged, and it's an act of love and compassion.
These parents, knowing their lives are over, but they want to dream for their kids.
And so they put them on the trains and they send them north, and they hope they get into America.
It's all about Obama's family reunification plan, which El Chapo, the reason he wrongs, he's going to become a U.S. citizen before all is said and done.
He's going to be reunited with his children that his wife is giving birth to in the United States.
And according to reports, El Chapo has at least four spouses and at least ten children.
Imagine what a sales force this clown's building up.
By the way, Winslow also, Don Winslow says, you know, do not think of this guy as a funny, chubby little cartoon character.
He is a brutal and ruthless murdering, maiming drug lord who has been responsible for who knows how many deaths.
There's nothing lovable about El Chapo.
And he's got a point.
TMZ is reporting that Macy's is paying a huge price for getting rid of Donald Trump.
Sources connected to Macy's have told TMZ that Macy's has received complaints from 30,000 customers who have torn up their Macy's credit cards and sent them back since Macy's dumped Trump two weeks ago.
You know this happened here.
I love seeing, and it was more than 30,000 in our case.
I'm not going to go into details, but back when that happened, and these people ran for the tall grass, a bunch of you people started canceling arrangements you had with some of these sponsors, and it was big.
Stock prices fell.
And now this is just another small example of a miniature uprising over what's happening out there.
Gotta take a break.
We'll be back.
Don't go away.
Grab soundbite number 33.
Listen to this.
This is um Capitol Hill today House Judiciary Committee hearing on the Department of Homeland Security Oversight.
And uh Representative Steve Shabbat, a Republican from Oregon, is talking to the Secretary of what is Jay Johnson?
What is this guy?
Homeland Security.
So he started Jay Johnson spells it J.E.H. J. Johnson, he's he's the Secretary of Homeland Security, and listen to this exchange.
Has the administration reached out to the Steinley family, to your knowledge?
To who?
To the family of the woman who was brutally murdered by this individual who had committed seven different felonies in four different states, in my understanding, who'd been deported, kept coming back and has the administration reached out to that family?
I I'm I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to that question, sir.
He doesn't even know who she is.
The director of Homeland Security has no idea when he hears the name Steinley family.
He doesn't know who it is.
Or at least he's acting like he doesn't know who it is.
How does he not know who this is?
Is it possible he wouldn't know of a woman murdered by an illegal alien that's been in the news for a week?
Because of a sanctuary city provision allows this clown to stay in town.
Would he not know this?
Very, very, very interesting.
A Missouri County, an all-Republican county, voted unanimously yesterday to observe a full calendar year of mourning after the Supreme Court's gay marriage decision.
The Missouri County is Dent County and flags at the Dent County Courthouse and Judicial Building will now fly at below half staff on the 26th day of every month from July this year to July next year to mark the day the Supreme Court handed down the ruling that legalized same-sex marriage nationwide.
This comes from the Salem news, Salem, Missouri.
It's the southern part of the state, figure halfway between the Mississippi River and the Kansas borders, about where this is.
Hey, folks, a quick question, kind of a chicken or egg question.
What came first, lesbians or fat women?
Well, there's a reason I'm asking.
A U.S. Health and Human Services study has been undertaken at a cost of three and a half million dollars so far to understand why lesbians are fat.
See, Don, you thought that I was venturing off into risky territory.
And I'm just asking a question based on a federal study.
Health and Human Services so far has spent three and a half million dollars to find out why lesbians are fat.
I remember way back in the 70s, they spent something like this amount of money to find out why Eskimos swap wives, or if they do, and I said, you know, well, half that I'll participate.
I'm not an Eskimo.
So what came first?
Lesbianism or obesity.
Does being a fat girl make you prone to be lesbian, or does being a lesbian make you get fat?
That's what they're studying.
It's not me asking that.
That's what they're studying.
The study is called sexual orientation and obesity.
A test of a gendered biosocial biopsychosocial, I'm sorry, model seeks to determine why there is a disparity in the obesity rates between straight women and lesbians and straight men and gay men.
According to the study, it is now well established that women of minority sexual orientation, which would be heterosexual.
Just kidding, just kidding, but it's not going to be long before some people think that.
You mark my words.
It isn't going to be long before people think heterosexuality is the minority, and the odd thing.
According to the study, it is now well established that women of minority sexual orientation lesbians are disproportionately affected by the obesity epidemic, with nearly three-quarters of adult lesbians overweight or uh obese, compared to only half of heterosexual women.
But in stark contrast among men, heterosexual males have nearly double the risk of obesity compared to gay males.
Apparently, these disparities are of high public health significance, therefore the National Institutes of Health have been continuously funding the project.
It originally started with a grant of one and a half million, it's now up to over three and a half million, and there's no end in sight to The study.
There isn't.
There's no end.
And why would there be?
I mean, if they're going to turn on the money for this, there's why how can there ever be a definitive conclusion?
They need to keep studying this.
So people are getting on the gravy train, volunteering to study it.
A website with information pertaining to the project claims that this study will continue until June 30th of 2016.
Here's Will.
We have a caller on Skype from Europe, and I'm really I'm glad you waited, Will.
Hello, sir.
Yes.
Rush, you're great.
That I can talk with you.
Thank you very much.
I appreciate that.
Well, Rush, I'm calling concerning the uh gay marriage victory by the Supreme Court.
Okay.
Uh my question is have you gotten more responses to your question to your audience about 10 days ago?
Remember that question you asked us?
How is it that 2% of the population is succeeding?
The actual question was why hasn't the faith community risen up and protested or marched in the streets or shown a battle cry?
Oh, that well, that that question too.
I did ask that.
It wasn't specifically about the Christian community, but it was about why why hasn't, you know, there's a distinct difference here.
You've got the gay population is 2%, and they're succeeding in everything they want.
The majority is just sitting idly by letting it happen.
And so the question is, why?
Why is there no uprising against it?
Why is there no uprising in support of these businesses being shut down, for example?
But no, I haven't got a whole lot of participation.
I have not gotten a lot of answers to that since you ask.
Well, okay, I'm an evangelist for my church in Europe.
Okay.
And we get together, and what did we do?
Well, like quoting Paul from the scriptures, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
And that stronghold is hate.
We marched into our secret place called silent prayer, Rush.
The vast community, this is what the evangelicals do.
They go into that sacred communion place with Christ consciousness.
And in this prayer, we were told to fulfill the last beatitude.
You know what that which one that is, don't you?
Rush.
It's the eighth Beatitude, Matthew 5, verse 10.
And it's called Blessed Are Those Who Are Persecuted for Righteousness' sake.
And it goes on.
Let me jump in and ask you a question because I have always I have, as a policy matter, I I'm not a theologian, and I don't ever want to pretend to be one.
So I don't I don't quote scripture, and I I don't I don't but I know what you're saying.
You're saying that there is no uprising, there's silent prayer to God.
I I had a I did have somebody send me an email this morning with a question.
Not it wasn't a question, it was a statement.
The statement was after this person learned what had happened with the Iranian deal.
The the note that I got from this friend of mine said, it's clear now that God has forsaken America.
My question to you would be God forsaken America or has America forsaken God.
This is what we come to understand.
We are a huge silent majority, the Christian majority who praise.
And we look at freedom in America as a God-given Christ quality to us.
And from that, we've received individuality and integrity and self-def-control, self-discipline.
From that comes free enterprise, ownership, and self-determination to respect God's temple, which is our body, our human body.
And we have standards.
Mine's pretty big.
I've got a lot of room.
Morality.
Yeah.
Excuse me, Rush.
I said mine's pretty big.
I have I have a lot of room in mine.
It's spacious, it can accommodate a lot of people.
Yes.
Well, there are standards concerning this morality.
And the hard liberal left say, well, there will be no standards, nothing to respect or cherish.
And this is what we call the Antichrist, which is hate.
They are based on hate.
Our response is based on love, Rush.
Well, I I understand that.
And I know, but here's my question.
You you go and pray, but you are that is the action that you're taking.
So you are in a society where there is free will.
You appear to be turning over the deciding action on this to prayer rather than action undertaken by you outside of or in addition to your prayer.
And that's an answer to my question.
It's all I was looking for.
You're one of many answers.
But I've it was not specifically asked of the faith community or of the evangelical community.
It was simply I just noted how many people admit they're they're they're Christians in this country, 71, 73%.
No matter how you slice it, the gay population is a very, very tiny minority.
And we live in what many people think is a democracy, which features majority rule.
We actually don't, we have representative republic.
But the majority, no matter where you look, is taking it on the chin here left and right.
So I was simply asking, why is the majority permitting it?
And your answer, I gather now, is well, you're really not any way, shape, manner, or form, you're praying about it.
Uh and that's that's the action that you take.
So I appreciate the feedback.
Anyway, folks, I'm up against it on time, got to take quick time out.
Thank you, uh, Will for holding, and we will be back.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, uh yesterday we had a story, and I just barely glossed over it, that there is now a group of scientists in an increasing number of scientists who are very concerned about what they say is the sun going to sleep in 2030.
They are concerned seriously about a major ice age.
A major, not ice age, a major cooling period.
And now that story, which was in the UK Daily Mail, has been picked up by CNN.
Scientists have made a discovery about the sun's heartbeat that they say indicates the Earth's northern hemisphere will experience a deep freeze in 15 years.
Yes, the sun has a solar heartbeat or cycle of activity that produces energy that causes sunspots and solar flares.
Now, all of this in the midst of this inane, insane panic mongering over global warming.
And now they say, and the global warming people constantly reject any reference to the sun.
See, global warming is based on one thing, computer models of CO2.
That's it.
That is the basis on which every stupid belief of global warming is based, a computer model, projection, prediction of CO2.
Well, these guys are looking at the sun and they're seeing major, major problems down the road.
In addition to that, I have here in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers from my adopted hometown of Sacramento, USA Today has a story, says a growing evidence of a huge El Nino being built, I should say, building as we speak.
And the growing evidence is that an even stronger El Nino this winter than the one in 1997.
And that was a bad one.
That that caused landslides, mud slides, rain like you can't believe in California, Northern California.
Stunning images from Japan's Himawari 8 weather satellite activated yesterday, show what could become a historic El Nino in full bloom.
And if this El Niño holds out, if this actually Happens.
Climatologists say that it will be the beginning of the end of California's historic drought.
Even if it may come at a price.
Yes, El Nino's great, and it could provide us with relief and replenish some of the reservoirs.
The flip side is it could mean catastrophic flooding.
So look, within the span of two days, we've got news that the sun in 15 years is going to lose a lot of intensity, and there's going to be major, major cooling in the northern hemisphere.
And an El Nino that is forming now and would hit this next coming winter, could be so powerful as to wipe out California's drought.
It's called nature.
And there's no computer models here.
El Nino is spotted by a satellite.
It either is or it isn't.
It's not predicted by a computer.
They can't try, but you either see it or it's not there.
And sunspot activity, that's not predicted.
That's noticed.
That's recorded.
And we here in Florida, we are impacted.
Everybody's impacted by El Nino.
It gets drier in some parts of the country.
The winters are warmer or cooler, depending.
Here in Florida, the weathers get the winters get cooler, and we get a lot of rain too.
But in California, it could be.
Imagine enough rain to fill up all the reservoirs and wipe out the drought.
There would be mudslides.
There would be landslides.
There would be floods.
But that's what they need.
You take the bad with the good.
Anyway, those are not computer models.
Those are actual data points that have been noticed from which projections can be made.
They're studying or urging wives to nag men to give up chew.
