Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
Greetings to you, my good friends, music lovers, thrill seekers, conversationalists all across the fruited plane, fastest week in media.
Here we are already at the end of the busy broadcast week, and you know what that means.
Live from the Southern Command in sunny South Florida.
Yes, it's Open Line Friday!
Open Line Friday, second edition in honor of Brian Williams and Hillary Clinton.
And we might as well do it in honor of the president too.
Throw him in there.
If you want to make it up, you have at it.
You want to call us and you want to lie about great achievements that you have made, accomplishments that you've done, you want to lie and tell us about acts of heroism that you have personally witnessed or been involved in?
You have at it, folks.
It's amazing who lies and who gets called on it and who doesn't.
For example, David Axelrod admitted that Barack Obama lied through his teeth when he said because he was a Christian, he opposed gay marriage.
Axelrod said in his books, he says, you know, I don't like BS.
I'm not a BS kind of guy, which makes it kind of curious why he works for Obama.
But he said that Obama just said that to get elected.
He said, if you go back and look at Obama's career in Chicago, he came out and said that he was flat out for it.
And I couldn't believe that the Republicans didn't find that.
But the question has been raised.
Okay, now if Axelrod said it, Obama lied.
He never was opposed to gay marriage.
He was always in favor of it.
Why isn't Twitter blowing up?
Why is it Twitter blowing up over Obama's lies?
Why is it Twitter blowing up over Obama going out and posing for selfies and with his tongue sticking out with BuzzFeed while ISIS is murdering Americans, or at least the news that they've done it is released?
Why is Twitter not erupting with anything that Obama has been proven to have lied about?
Whereas Twitter is blowing up over Brian Williams, and they're trying to make Twitter blow up over Scott Walker not having gone to college.
And you know the answer to it that I saw?
Because a bunch of drive-bys are investigating, and they're really curious.
And the best answer I've seen is, is because nobody is surprised that Obama is making it up.
Nobody's surprised that Obama lied.
It's not earth-shattering.
It's not a surprise.
It's not shocking, and therefore people are not outraged.
They don't feel betrayed.
They just acknowledge that Obama had to do what he had to do to get elected.
Well, Brian Williams had to do what he had to do to get to number one in the nightly news, or the nightly narrative.
It really, in a way, it's fascinating.
And both of them are lib Democrats.
I mean, Brian Williams and Obama, both liberal Democrats.
And yet Twitter is destroying Brian Williams.
And many in the drive-by media are destroying Brian Williams.
And speaking of which, I finally decided to put together a compendium of Brian Williams' lies and tall tales.
And it prints out the two full pages.
Because I had to prepare this for Paul Shanklin because we're going to try to put together some parody songs based on this with Williams and Hillary singing a duet.
And we can't use any music by Sony because they won't allow us.
They won't grant us a license.
We're thinking about using other tunes, and I don't want to tell you what they are right now to alert those publishers to put the clamp down.
But we are, we're busy working.
Have you heard the latest?
Brian Williams, I mean, the latest, it's kind of hard to peg.
Have you heard the one about SEAL Team 6?
Brian Williams claims that he was embedded with SEAL Team 6 flown into Baghdad in an operation SEAL Team 6 had there, except the special ops commander in charge of SEAL Tim 6 says they never embed reporters.
They are so clandestine.
They are so secretive.
They are so under the radar.
They never take a reporter anywhere with them.
But that's not the half of it.
Then after Brian Williams said that he had been embedded with SEAL Tim 6 in an operation in Iraq, he said that the SEAL Team 6 commander in the bin Laden raid sent him a souvenir from the bin Laden kill operations, part of a helicopter or something.
So the SEAL Team 6 guy says, Are you kidding me?
Not only would we never have a reporter, a puke reporter, embedded with us on one of our operations, we don't send souvenirs from where we've been.
We work in secret.
But we don't send souvenirs.
Nobody here knows Brian Williams.
Now, folks, this is, it's now, it's, and NBC's still digging things up.
The Los Angeles CBS Bureau in Los Angeles has found that Brian Williams claimed to have met Pope John Paul II.
He claimed to be somewhere where Pope John Paul II was and just happened to run into him there.
And he also is now claiming that he was at the Brandenburg Gate when the Berlin Wall fell.
Now, the only reporter that NBC had there, the only person that they assigned the story of the plummeting falling Berlin Wall was Tom Brokaw.
And he reported there.
Brian Williams, of course, Brian Williams would not have been it.
Yeah, he might have been a beast.
I don't know.
That would have been maybe prior to his MSNBC days or maybe not.
But I mean, folks, I don't know this.
I told you, I used to work with a guy who told his day was exactly this stuff.
Except his lies were, he knew all the big-time people in radio.
He knew the big-time jocks.
He knew the big time owners, the big-time program directors, and he was talking to them all the time.
He said, and one day, I just couldn't take it anymore.
I just, I couldn't take it.
I cracked.
And I just confronted the guy.
I said, look, would you stop this?
If you knew all these people, you wouldn't be here.
This is when I was in McKeesport.
You wouldn't be here.
You'd be in New York or Chicago or Los Angeles or wherever.
If you knew all these people, come on, nobody's buying this, man.
And I got fired 20 minutes later.
This guy, I left to go home, and the man, this guy called the owner of the radio station and said I was just through a temper tantrum.
It was terribly destroying staff morale and this kind of stuff.
So I got fired on the phone at home.
Oh, my dad never got over it.
He thought I'd blown my life.
You just didn't get fired in my dad's world.
That was a lifetime smear.
It was a lifetime stain on your resume if you ever got fired because the boss was always right.
Didn't matter the truth.
The boss was always right.
The authority figure was always right.
And if I got fired, it didn't matter.
I deserved it.
It was my responsibility not to get fired.
And I said, look, You owned part of a radio station one and you know this no excuse.
There was no way.
There was no excuse that I could give he didn't details he didn't care about.
And that's, you know, as I say constantly, his formative event in his life was the Great Depression, where you did anything to get and keep a job.
Well, you know, my mom was always ready to come to my defense if it was warranted.
She was always willing to hear my side and consider it.
To my dad, my side existed, but it didn't matter because I was the slep and the boss was the boss, and that's where the final word were.
He was a lawyer, and that's how he looked at judges.
He thinks he thought judges made errors against him all the time.
But what recourse did he have but to appeal to a different court?
He couldn't tell his judge what he thought because if he did, he'd be cited in contempt.
So, in his view, I was cited in contempt, held in contempt of the station instead of the but I did.
I worked for a guy just like this.
And it's different when you're watching and witnessing this from afar.
You can laugh at it.
Being around this and working with this, I guarantee you, this had to be driving people crazy.
All of this stuff.
Plus, the guy is sitting in the number one anchor chair at the network.
He's got the number one job, and everybody there has to know he's a fraud one way or the other.
Now, apparently, he's a very likable guy.
He was always when I was around him.
It might have been somewhat mitigating.
I guarantee you this drove people crazy.
And I think it's probably evidence of that is how many people are now revealing stories.
You know, all the people could help him by, yeah, you know, Brian was with us on that trip into Iraq.
They're not doing that.
They're throwing him under bus overboard at the first chance they get.
John Kerry, look at John Kerry's lies.
All of those lies about Vietnam.
And there wasn't any outrage about it.
Not from the same type of people that are outrageous over Brian Williams.
There's something about Democrats.
They're just, it's expected that they're going to lie, and they get credited for getting away with it.
To this day, I think that one of the reasons that the Democrat Party still idolizes Bill Clinton is because he was such a good liar.
They admire it.
They envy it and they marvel at it.
And especially since most of Clinton's lies were instrumental in defeating conservatives, they didn't care.
They didn't care about Lewinsky.
They didn't care about any of that.
As long as conservatives continue to be beat by the guy, he's a hero and he's going to stay a hero for the end of days.
There has always been a double standard, maybe even a triple standard.
I want to take you back.
I could go back to an infinite number of occasions on this program and play a soundbite for you.
We randomly picked one from October 23rd last year, but we could have gone back five years.
We could have gone back 2007.
We could have gone back 2010.
But this is what I said five, six months ago.
He is going to grant amnesty to those here, and he's going to keep the border open and welcome all those who want in to come in as well.
And they're going to get green cards, which means they're going to get driver's licenses, which means they're going to end up on a voter registration rolls before it's all over with motor voter.
Ever heard of it?
It's called with one signature a permanent Democrat Party majority.
Not to mention the impact on the country, the culture, the economy, and everything else that's going to happen with this.
Well, it started happening now.
Illegals are being registered to vote.
It's happening at lightning speed.
It is happening under the radar, although now the light of attention has finally found it.
But it is happening much sooner than anybody thought.
One of my theories was that we would, I thought we'd get amnesty prior to the president doing executive orders with it.
And in that scenario, my forecast was that a year or so, maybe six months after amnesty had passed, somebody like Chuck Schumer will call a press conference and wring his hands and say, this is so, we really goofed up in this legislation.
We made such a mistake.
Here we've granted these people green cards and put them on a pathway to citizenship, but they can't vote.
They've been paying taxes.
What kind of country have we become?
And then make a proposal that they be allowed to vote right now and whenever, because that's what this is really all about.
But in order to get it passed, in the conventional legislative way, everybody has to deny that it's about registering voters.
It's for humanitarian reasons and economic reasons.
But no, no, no, no, we're not trying to register.
That's just limbo paranoia, right-wing paranoia.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, of all the things happening out there today, and there are many of them, this is right at the top of the list that makes me want to put us at DEF CON 5.
To me, this is dangerous.
Washington Times has it.
President Obama's temporary deportation amnesty, his executive order, meaning we're not going to deport him, which means they have amnesty gets day.
5 million people to start, many more after that.
Obama's temporary, that's in quotes, deportation amnesty will make it easier for illegal immigrants to improperly register and vote in elections.
This was testimony from state election officials to Congress yesterday saying that the driver's licenses and social security numbers they will be granted create a major voting loophole, just exactly as I have informed you back in October.
The key is driver's licenses, social security numbers, motor voter, it's a dumb deal.
Is it really a loophole?
Look at this loophole, major voting.
No loophole in here.
This is intentional.
There's not a loophole.
A loophole is an unexpected good or bad result that was unforeseen.
This is not a loophole.
This was intended and it is brazen.
While stressing that it remains illegal for non-citizens to vote, what does that matter?
It isn't going to matter, a hill of beans.
If Obama is not going to be held accountable for any of the numerous lies or any of the destruction his implemented policies have cost, who the hell is going to do anything about this violation of the law?
Anybody that tries is going to be slapped down as not compassionate, not understanding the depths of humanity, and also be accused of not properly exercising America's values.
So while stressing that it remains illegal for non-citizens to vote, secretaries of state from Ohio and Kansas said that they will not have the tools to sniff out these illegals who register anyway.
They'll be ignoring stiff penalties to fill out the registration forms that are easily available at shopping malls, motor vehicle bureaus, curbside registration drives, hell's bells.
What do you think in Obamacare?
The people that got the state exchanges are really voter outreach organizations, unions and voter outreach organizations, predominantly Southern California, but all over the place.
Anyone registering to vote attests that he or she is a citizen, but Ohio Secretary of State John Houston said mass registration drives often are not able to give due attention to that part, and so illegal immigrants will still get through.
Well, that sounds just like the way they excuse what's going on at the border.
Well, we're being flooded by so many, man, there's just no way we can keep track of it.
The FBI just told us, yeah, so many Americans joining ISIS, no way we can keep track.
Anyway, folks, this is DEF CON 5.
This is what this whole thing is really all about, anyway.
You know what I think is going to happen with Brian Williams?
I have a prediction that I'm going to make to you here.
By the way, there's a former SEAL guy on CNN right now saying, hey, we don't give away souvenirs, which is obviously the case.
This is so pathological.
I'm going to tell you what's going to happen.
The investigations into Brian Williams' public utterances, both on the NBC nightly narrative and just on other TV shows and speaking with people, it's going to continue.
And there's going to be so much.
I think we barely got the tip of the iceberg here.
It is going to be discovered that Brian Williams made up so much that that's what he's going to become known for and will ultimately become lovable.
His career as a narrative reader is over.
He can never, because this stuff's going to continue to trickle out.
It's either going to trickle out or it's going to explode, but they're going to continue to find more examples of it.
And it's going to end up being so much that this is going to become an alter personality, who he really is, that people are going to end up laughing at and finding charming.
Even though this is deeply rooted, problematic.
Given our pop culture today, depending on how he wants to market this, if he does, he could have an entirely new identity, a new routine.
A guy who never tells the truth about anything will become his new identity.
And it will be hilarious and funny, and he will market it and play it for all it's worth and a comeback tour.
No, no, no.
What I'm telling you is that Brian Williams is going to end up being lovable.
And all of this, rather than be something that's embarrassing or shameful, is going to be his new gig.
It'll be his new identity.
For example, Brian Williams will go on late night comedy show.
And he'll start talking about how he tried.
He was in the back of the Bronco and he begged OJ to do it differently.
And OJ wouldn't listen to him.
And everybody will applaud and laugh.
And he'll, the gig will be to outdo every other statement he's made.
Just keep making it up.
He's going to become lovable, like Biden.
Biden makes one slip up after another.
Joe Biden puts his foot in his mouth the other day, just the other day.
He was talking about his best butt-buddy.
We had the audio soundbite.
I got it late today yesterday.
I didn't get a chance to run it.
But Biden's not his butt-buddy.
And whether, you know, Biden tells a guy in a wheelchair, stand up, Chuck Clinton.
Oh, God bless you.
Oh, my God.
Let's stand.
They say that's just Chuck, or that's just Joe.
It's acknowledged he's a buffoon.
See, he's a lovable buffoon that nobody takes seriously and nobody holds to any kind of standard.
I'm just telling you, that's what I think is going to happen with Brian Williams, except he's the kind of guy that might try to market it into a routine, if you will.
The guy who was everywhere, Joe Isuzu.
I mean, there's any number of examples that I could cite for people like this.
I mean, Biden's got an even bigger fantasy life than Brian Williams.
I mean, Biden made up his blue-collar roots.
He made up his school GPA.
He made up attending a top-tier law school.
He even made up the circumstances of his wife's death.
He said that she was killed by a drunk driver, but the driver wasn't drunk.
The driver that killed his wife wasn't even at fault.
And you've got Elizabeth Warren.
She can't get it straight either.
In order to get sympathy and to qualify for some kind of diversity recognition, she makes up the fact that she's part Indian.
So she acquires the name Folcahontas.
And everybody just chuckles and laughs because they know what the purpose is.
It's allowing her to get elected, like Obama is allowed to tell Whopper after Whopper.
He's never held accountable because his objective is to beat us.
And if he has to lie and fool people in the problem, that doesn't matter.
Same thing with Bill Clinton.
Look at the Democrat feel for 2016.
Hillary, she makes it up.
She creates a fantasy life.
Her real life, if she would just tell some of those stories, my God, can you imagine the entertainment value of that?
But she's not going to go there.
So she makes up all this stuff.
And, you know, every one of these Democrats, there's a common theme that runs through every story they make up.
And that common theme has, to one degree or another, to do with bravery and courage.
Hillary avoiding sniper fire.
Brian Williams next to a guy who suffered a purple heart injury.
What a way to characterize it.
Yeah, he got shot right through the earlobe.
It didn't happen.
But these people end up becoming, they're looked at as harmless and even mildly entertaining.
And there's no end in sight for this kind of stuff.
You've got Hillary John Kerry.
I can't tell you the stuff he's made up, but where he went and didn't go in Vietnam and his medals and everything.
Hillary Kerry, Biden, Warren, which of them hasn't lied more about their lives than Brian Williams?
It's typical.
You can see what's going to happen here.
I don't think.
And if it ended now and NBC called a press conference very sorrowfully and announced that they just couldn't bring Brian back, then that would be earth-shattering news.
But the investigation is going to continue, and it's going to uncover so much more that people, after a while, the reservoir of shock and anger is going to be filled, and they won't have any more room for that.
And the emotional transformation will be, this guy, what's he say next?
Was he really on the moon with Armstrong?
Was he in an Unar module telling Armstrong what to say?
That's the kind of thing that's going to attach itself to him in a lovable, harmless kind of way.
He would be ideal if somebody wants to resurrect a fake newscast.
Just let him do it and don't even write it.
Just put him on the air with no teleprompter, turn the microphone on, do it for a half hour, and let him go.
And that's just what I predict is going to happen because there's going to be an overload, a volume of these kinds of violations.
And you have to know as well as I do that our culture, there's no shame anymore.
There are rationalizations and reasons and excuses for whatever shameful behavior there is.
And look at the people who are already trying to justify Brian Williams lying about what happened in Iraq by saying, well, you know, it's good because this guy, he's not the first to lie about Iraq.
And so he's exposing what these people think Bush did, lie about Iraq all over the place.
And so they're already turning those lies into a positive for Brian Williams.
I mean, the left is going to go to any length they can to see to it that this ends up not hurting them, the agenda, or the movement.
Yeah, Hillary claims she ended the war in Northern Ireland by giving some Irish women a teapot.
I'm not making this stuff up.
And whenever they are given accolades to their greatness that are totally made up, they stand there and accept it as though it's totally true.
They accept awards based on fraudulent behavior.
They're not genuine at all.
And they're never held to account for it.
Rare occasions, such as Brian Williams.
Now, back to this immigration business, one more thing here.
The Washington Post a few days ago had a story.
Last month, for the third time in a decade, a bill was introduced in the D.C. Council to allow legal immigrants to vote locally.
The measure has little chance of passage, but it's illustrative of a growing movement to expand local voting rights to non-citizens that has spawned similar proposals in several dozen communities across the country.
It never lets up.
It never ends.
They're going to get illegals, legals, they're going to get non-citizens voting rights as quickly as they can.
It's already begun, even before the official executive amnesty has really been implemented.
Look, I really don't like doing, see, I told you, but last November and December, everybody's talking about this massive Republican victory and what it's going to mean.
Look, the mandate was to stop Obama, and our guys are clearly telegraphing they're not going to stop Obama.
I said, the thing to look out for these next two years, there's no stopping him.
They've made it clear they're not going to.
He's got no obstacles in his path.
These next two years, folks, I warned everybody, you have no idea What could happen?
And this, extending the right to vote to legal or illegal immigrants who are not citizens yet.
That's been the objective of this all along.
I don't see anybody trying to stop it.
Whenever the subject of stopping it comes up, what do we hear?
Oh, God, it's so massive already.
There's no way, Mr. Limbaugh, there's no way we're ever going to be able to find all these people.
And then what do you want us to do, Mr. Limbaugh?
You want us to deport them?
No, I want you to just not give them a voter registration card.
Well, it's just, it's too many.
It's like the FBI said yesterday, Mr. Limbaugh.
There's already so many Americans joining ISIS.
It's just impossible for the FBI to keep up.
Okay, so we are now sanctifying Daniel Patrick Moynihan, defining deviancy down.
That's when a society gives up on pursuing certain level of crime on the basis we can't stop it, so we just claim it's normal.
And we stop pursuing it.
That's what we're doing here.
And we can't keep track of it all.
There's no way we can find these guys.
And what's the enforcement mechanism, Mr. Limbaugh?
There's just no way we can do it.
Okay, there's no way, apparently, that we can enforce our law.
There's no way that we can enforce the Constitution.
There's no way that we can even try.
So it's, it has begun.
And Rutgers, Rutgers University to hold the first ever college fair for illegals.
Isn't this quaint?
Rutgers University, the flagship State University of New Jersey, will be hosting what appears to be the first ever college admissions fair designed exclusively for illegal immigrants.
Your kids get shuffled off to a free community college, and Rutgers is doing college admissions fairs aimed exclusively for illegal immigrants.
Now, Rutgers is a state screw.
They are using New Jersey taxpayer dollars for this.
But the taxpayers of New Jersey don't care and wouldn't care if they knew.
But ask yourself if it's a good idea.
Do we want all of these young gifts of love, that's what the illegal immigrants now are called, gifts of love.
As people like Jimmy Carter refer, gifts of love.
Brand new America, brand new human beings arriving here on the doorstep of America to save America from its derelict native population.
48 million of which have already given up on life and are sitting out there on food stamps.
So we need this inflow of new responsible workers because so many Americans have decided to go the derelict route.
So they are young gifts of love.
But do we really want to do this?
After all, it was just last week and the week prior that we heard all about the rape culture that permeates American universities, the academy.
Do we really want to subject these young gifts of love to this new rape culture that we're told is ubiquitous in the academy?
This event, by the way, the admissions fair at Rutgers has a name.
It's called UndocuRutkers as in undocumented, undocu-Rutgers.
It's going to be held tomorrow.
It'll feature admissions representatives from Rutgers as well as several local colleges.
I'm sure the Chamber of Commerce will be there too, welcoming them to the campus.
According to NJ.com, it'll also have representatives from Rutgers Screw All of Law Newark, who will offer tips on how prospective students can apply for federal deferrals on deportation and other legal issues.
So Rutgers is hosting an admissions fair exclusively for illegals.
And once they show up, they're going to be given free legal advice on how to avoid deportation, how to apply for federal deferrals, and other legal, while your kids are being dangled with a carrot, free community college for two years.
Yes.
Such a deal.
Nuts, not all, participants will also get help typical for college fairs, such as advice on how to pay for scruple.
Except illegal immigrants are ineligible for federal loans.
So there's going to be some creativity involved here because we know that they're not going to be paying for school.
But they have to call it that to keep the wolves at bay, no doubt.
I make another prediction.
I'm going to tell you another thing that's going to happen.
After not too long of time, it's going to be cool to be able to lie like Brian Williams.
It's going to be cool to have the ingenuity and the creativity to put yourself in all of these earth-shattering places and do it with credibility and then make people believe that you were there and that the event you described actually did happen.
If he gets his own TV show, people are going to clamor to be on that show and they're going to be exposing their own lies.
And they're going to be at Twitter.
There will be a brand new department of Twitter where people will tell all kinds of truths about themselves, the lies they've told, because everybody's going to end up wanting to be cool like Brian Williams.
I know you, Snerdley's in there, have you lost your mind?
No.
One thing I know is American pop culture.
I know what's going to happen here if he plays the rest of it that I've predicted right.
There's a golden opportunity.
Here's the SEAL Team 6 guy on CNN mere moments ago.
He was asked, do you think, is there any way Brian Williams was on a helicopter, SEAL Team 6 invasion of Iraq, headed into the airport in Baghdad?
Is there any way that could have happened?
I would say absolutely not.
I can tell you this.
I've got 300 military, ex-military patients, thousands of combat vet motorcycle association people who I've spoken to, and nobody has ever said, you know what, we really loved our embedded reporter so much that we gave him tokens of our esteem because he was just so great.
I gave one knife away in 12 years in the military, and it was to a fellow Norwegian special ops guy who I spent a month in a snow cave with, not just because somebody said, hey, that's a cool-looking knife, and then it mysteriously shows up on their desk a couple weeks later.
That story is so preposterous that I can't even elaborate further.
Right.
And what he's talking about there is that Brian Williams claimed that the SEAL Team 6 guy, he never names these people, but he got so close to the SEAL Team 6 invasion of Iraq, that after the bin Laden invasion, they were thinking of Brian Williams.
So this is how this works.
On the way back to base, after killing bin Laden, the SEAL Team 6 guy was, you only think about Brian Williams, I got to get Brian a souvenir.
I got to get a piece of this helicopter.
I got to get something.
And he did.
Brian said that he got a souvenir from one of the helicopters in the operation.
So we have to believe the SEAL Team 6 guy was so dazzled by Brian Williams that years after, because the invasion of Iraq is 2003, we didn't get bin Laden until two or three years ago.
They had to be thinking about Brian.
He must have made a hell of an impression on them.
Because on the way back to base, with Bin Laden's corpse on the chopper, SEAL Team 6 is saying, We got to get something for our buddy Brian.
And they do.
It's going to end up: do you have what it takes to lie like Brian Williams?
Do you have the ability to pull it off like Brian Williams did?
It's going to launch.
I think it's.
You just watch, folks.
We'll see if I'm right.
Hey, look at this.
Look at Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
She was so drunk at the last State of the Union speech, she could not sit up straight.
She looked like she's going to throw up.
And the media today, they think it's just the cutest thing that this little lady, little lady, one of the nine most powerful people in the country, was drunk at the State of the Union.
