Time Text
It's the fastest three hours in media, Rush Limbaugh and the Excellence and Broadcasting Network coming direct to you from the distinguished and prestigious Limbo Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
Tell about number if you want to be with us in our remaining busy broadcast hour, hosted by me, your highly trained broadcast specialist, 800-282-2882 in the email.
Address L Rushbo at EIBNet.com.
Now look, folks, I understand.
I have not I'm not less than enthusiastic about prospects, fortunes here and so forth.
I did what I just got an email.
Rush, you sound, even though you think it's going to be a big election, you're not sounding like you're all that yep to it.
Don't misunderstand, folks.
I'm perfectly, I am excited about all this stuff being rejected.
I am part of me won't believe it till I see it, naturally, but I am thoroughly, thoroughly intrigued and uh on the on the prospects or the on the precipice of being happy, ecstatic, if voters actually do reject this stuff.
But I will say that that there is something missing in this for me in terms of an opportunity.
Maybe I'm asking for too much, but it would really make me feel good if, as well as this stuff being rejected, the people voting against it knew why.
Rather than just being tired of it, rather than just being exhausted with it or miserable or unhappy, and just thinking we need a change, I would really, really love this to represent a factual substantive rejection of liberalism.
A factual substantive rejection of Obamaism.
Because that would mean that we're really on the way to turning things around and maybe building on something.
It's like I mentioned yesterday.
I was playing golf Saturday, and the guys I'm with, so are we going to win the Senate?
As though that's it.
Winning the Senate is everything.
And that's to me just a first step.
What if we win it with people who are still not interested in fighting for it?
Now, but I'm going to stop there because I don't want any of you like that lady called me yesterday and said that that I'm raining on her parade.
I'm not trying to do that at all.
I just see a golden opportunity out there.
That's all.
It's huge.
It is a terrific opportunity for the rejection of the status quota mean something.
Something other than, I just want to change.
Something other than we need to give the other guys a try because these guys, it just isn't working.
I want voters to vote against it because they know why it isn't working.
And I know I'm asking a lot.
I would love it if people were rejecting this because they know it can't work.
I would love it if people were going to reject this because they've finally been told, they've been taught, they've been informed, they've learned, what have you, that this is going to fail every time they vote for it.
Hey, I can dream, can't I?
That's what should be happening here.
But maybe I'm asking for too much, because winning is the big thing.
You have to win elections before you can do anything else.
But that oftentimes leads to pitfalls.
Because sometimes just doing what you have to to win is a problem in and of itself.
But as I say, I'm going to stop there because I don't want any of it to think that I am pessimistic or negative because I preach against that all the time.
And I'm none of that.
I just I'm guarded because we're going on polls again.
And until we actually have the results in here, it's it's wise, I think, to keep an open mind.
At the same time, we can chronicle why this is happening.
And I mentioned earlier that there are a couple stories here in the Daily Beast that are just devastating to the regime.
Now they're obviously written and published to help Hillary, not the Republicans, and that's a key point.
Here's the first was by Josh Rogan.
In a new video, ISIS shows American-made weapons it says were intended for the Kurds, but actually were airdropped into territory that they, ISIS control.
At least one bundle of U.S. weapons airdropped in Syria appears to have fallen into the hands of ISIS, a dangerous misfire in the American mission to speed aid Kurdish forces making their stand in Kubani.
An ISIS Associated YouTube account posted a new video online yesterday, oh, actually today, entitled Weapons and Munitions Dropped by American Planes and Landed in the Areas Controlled by the Islamic State in Kubani.
Now the the authenticity of this video could not be independently confirmed, but the ISIS fighters in the video are in possession.
It's clear that they have American hand grenades, rounds for small rockets, and other supplies that they will surely turn around and use on the Kurdish forces they are fighting.
And this goes on the heels of another story in which we are actually dropping humanitarian aid to ISIS.
It is not our intention.
This is not happening on purpose.
It's another faux point.
The story I saw almost makes it look like we can't avoid this.
That we are dropping humanitarian aid and this is what happens when you fight a proxy war.
This is what happens when you've got ground troops, i.e.
boots on the ground that are not yours, that are supposedly your allies.
It's what happens when you fight a war from 35,000 feet or 17,000 feet, whatever the altitude we're using.
These are the kind of things that uh that happen.
The second Daily Beast story.
Where there's trouble, you will usually find Joe Biden.
This guy is a train wreck.
This story is by Lloyd Green.
According to the polls, Joe Biden doesn't have a prayer in 2016.
And according to former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Biden, quote, has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy national security issue over the past 40 years, close quote.
But two things are also certain.
First, Biden is Barack Obama's go-to guy when partisan loyalty is at a premium faced with rising concern and criticism over the outbreak of Ebola, Obama tapped Ron Klain, Biden's four-he doesn't start till Wednesday, by the way.
Ron Klain starts Wednesday, and you know there's a story that Ron Klain only took the gig to use it as a stepping stone to a position of even higher authority in the regime.
Pure political appointment here.
He has no medical experience, no health-related experience or knowledge.
And he's going to parlay this into a position of greater authority, even in the uh in the administration.
Second, Biden's friends and family have not hesitated to profit from their ties to the vice president Biden's brother James and his son Hunter have cashed in on the family name, whether it be in Iraq or Ukraine.
Biden may have the mean of the crazy uncle in the basement, but he's also a real reminder of what's wrong with politics.
This is a left-wing website, the Daily Beast.
And then they start with Clain.
Let's talk with uh with Klain, like Biden.
He's a consummate fixer with Georgetown and Harvard Law School degrees thrown in for good measure, but his political pedigree, Klain would have no business being Ebola coordinator.
He has no idea what to do if it weren't for his political pedigree.
Ebola's not just a messaging problem, but they put a messenger expert in there.
Klain was the aide to Al Gore, Who was memorialized by Kevin Spacey in the HBO movie Recount as pushing for a more aggressive approach to the 2000 Florida recount.
And then, after failing in Florida, Klain became a Fannie Mae lobbyist who helped convince Congress and Fannie Mae's regulators that all was well with the world, even as Fannie Mae was inflating what would become the subprime mortgage crisis.
So Klein has his fingerprints all over that.
And yet Biden and Obama now seek to unleash Klain on America.
I'm telling you, this is all pro-Hillary stuff.
There's no question that there are now media factions that have all been united in support of Obama, who now in the sixth year, approaching the end of the sixth year of the regime are now splitting apart and changing loyalties.
And when it comes to changing loyalties in support of Hillary, they're not just doing that, they're taking the occasion to dump all over Obama and Biden and the whole administration.
Kind of fascinating to see.
And this comes on the heels of the story we had yesterday from the New York Times, black votes seen as last hope for Democrats to hold Senate.
Confidential memo from a former pollster for President Obama contained a blunt warning for Democrats, written this month with an eye toward election day.
It predicted crushing Democrat losses across the fruited plain.
If the party didn't do more to get black voters to the polls.
And then, of course, Tina Brown throwing Obama under the feminist bus by claiming women are abandoning the Democrat Party because Obama makes them feel unsafe.
The black vote.
Many people in the regime are counting on the grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri, to provide energy and impetus to the black vote.
However, that doesn't seem to be working out.
And in fact, for this, we need to go to the audio sound bites.
And as soon as I find where they start, we will go to the audio sound bites.
And I'm looking now, let's see.
I guess it looks like this is 17.
Audio soundbite 17, Mr. Broadcast Engineer.
Apparently, we've had some leaks in the grand jury.
And the leaks have indicated that, in the first place, the gentle giant's hands were not up.
He was not surrendering.
The second thing, they found blood from the gentle giant inside the cop car.
They have heard evidence that the gentle giant did move against the co the officer in the police car.
And it is beginning to look more and more like even there are quotes here from the federal agents from the DOJ that are on scene saying it looks increasingly unlikely we're going to have anywhere near enough for civil rights violations charges.
Well, that it'd be most unfortunate, but it could fire up.
And this it could be seen as another example of injustice.
Another example of how the black community is getting a short end of the stick and it could fire Al Sharp and Jesse Jackson out there.
And if they facts and the truth don't matter, another gentle giant gunned down in total innocence in a white power structure getting away with it, and if they can try to gin up the black vote using that.
Let's go to the audio sound bites because it's CNN, of course.
This was second only to the missing Malaysian airliner, in terms of the attention this story got on CNN.
Last night's Situation Room Wolf Blitzer speaking with former FBI assistant director Tom Fuentes about new forensic information on the shooting victim, the gentle giant, in his encounter with the police officer Darren Wilson.
Blitzer says, You believe that video from the convenience store, where Michael Brown, the gentle giant, was allegedly in there with his friends stealing some cigars.
That could be pretty significant.
We heard the narrative for several days after the shooting that Michael Brown was a gentle giant.
He's not aggressive.
He wouldn't hurt anybody.
In the video, you see him take on a store clerk that's about half his size after stealing the cigars.
It's not shoplifting.
He's confronted.
He shoves that guy violently into the rack.
That incident occurs about ten minutes before the encounter.
So he could have, in his own mind, thought that Oscar Wilson was going to arrest him for the incident at the store.
See, the truth that we all deduced at the time is now beginning to trickle out.
Again, that's Tom Fuentes, former FBI, assistant director on CNN.
Wolf Blitzer spoke with Don Lemon.
Remember Don Lemon?
Don Lemon who famously asked if a black hole could have swallowed up the Malaysian flight.
But he did something else in Ferguson.
He he I don't know if I've heard I don't remember what he some some similar kind of observation or question was out there.
But anyway, he's back in and he I looks like uh he's having trouble with the original narrative.
Uh Wolf Blitzer says to Don Lemon, who's part of the panel, he just heard the former FBI guy give that answer you just heard, and Blitzer says, Hey, Don, what do you make of that now?
It goes to state of mind.
I think he's exactly right.
I don't think any police officer would want to pull a suspect in a car with him because he's then trapped inside of the car.
So the grand jury's gonna look at that.
They're gonna say logically the officer would want to push the suspect off of him, get out of the car, and fight him in an open place where he has access to his gun and weapons, not pull him into the car where the officer is trapped.
So now even Don Lemon is agreeing it doesn't make much sense for a police officer to pull a suspect like the gentle giant in a car.
The General Giant, they found evidence Gentle Giant was in the car.
He wasn't surrendering.
This is changing a lot of people's perspective on this.
But just keep a sharp eye, because if this goes down with no indictment of the officer, you are going to see, because of the election in November and this poll showing the black turnout being down can kill a Democrat's chances.
You're gonna see a major, major civil rights violations effort going on here.
Rush Limbaugh with half my brain tied behind my back.
Having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.
Here's John in Rochester, New York.
Great to have you, sir.
I'm glad you waited.
Hi, Rush.
Hey, thanks for taking my call.
I appreciate it.
You bet, sir.
I'm uh longtime listener and uh first-time caller.
And I wanted to bring up to you about the uh the Carl Rove uh uh scandal or controversy with the uh the weapons of mass destruction.
Yeah.
If uh if the administration knew about this, and believe me, I'm a big Dick Cheney fan.
Uh I he's a staunch conservative, as am I, and I've always been a big fan of his.
But I I hate to say it, I think he's got some explaining to do, too.
I really do on this.
Uh uh, I think that uh if he knew and for him not to say anything even now about finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
I think he's definitely got some explaining to do it.
Dick Cheney is never.
I don't care.
I can't imagine a circumstance where Dick Cheney would break chain.
You know, one thing that Dick Dick Cheney uh I I'll just I'll just tell you.
In the midst of all of this last week, I got a note.
It had two three words.
It it was from a person I know.
And the and the email said Cheney really tried.
It told me that Cheney disagreed with the political decision to stand mute about it, but his loyalty is such.
I mean, he's he's the the Democrat Party, and people like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Bill that dumped on George W. Bush, Republicans, the Iraq War for five, six years.
Cheney's not gonna join them.
I just his loyalty is such that he was vice president.
Not he's not, he's not gonna jump chain of command.
I'd be I'd be shocked if uh he didn't.
Well, what do you think the New York Times motivation is for putting the story out now, and how many other news outlets, liberal news outlets I'll tell you what I think the story was.
If you go back, the the original the New York Times story that you asked me about actually was about weapons of mass destruction, the sarin and mustard gas from the first Gulf War.
That's what was found.
The purpose of that story, just to show you how the New York Times didn't even know what they were doing, the purpose of that story was to again dump on the Bush administration for subjecting American troops to chemical weapons when nobody knew they were there.
It was a story which basically challenged Bush's responsibility and his cavalier attitude in deploying soldiers into such circumstances.
The whole notion of WMD that had been discovered totally missed the New York Times because it was chemical weapons from prior to the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
So that's they didn't even know what they were doing.
I'm out of time.
I'll I'll finish the thought here we get back.
Now, what I was gonna say was the the New York Times story last week that that mentioned the discovery of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq in 2004, 2005.
Remember, and I made it very clear back then the weapons that were discovered were mustard gas and sarin gas, and they were deployed and used by Saddam Hussein in the first Gulf War back in 1991, gassed the Kurds and did that kind of thing.
It was those weapon stocks that were found.
And the New York Times story had nothing to do with oh my God, there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
No, they were trying to once again rip Bush, being incompetent, uncaring about the welfare of American military men and women.
It was a hit piece on Bush.
It totally escaped them that others would see in their story a blockbuster.
And the blockbuster was that the White House, when they were told of these weapons of mass destruction, didn't want to make news of it.
The New York Times totally missed what the blockbuster nature of their own story was, because they were so focused on beating Bush.
I Over the head again.
Again, asked Esther Dick Cheney.
Hell, I don't know, but but my guess is that if he did fight for the news to be released and to be used, uh, and if he was overruled, he's not going to say so.
I just don't think he would break chain like that.
He's loyal.
Especially now, uh if he was gonna do it, he would have done it then or in his book.
And he didn't.
It's just not who he is.
I mean, he's a Cheney's a genuine true uh definition of a patriot, and firmly believes in the chain of command and would not undermine the president with whom he had served.
He may fight for it behind closed doors, but he'd live with the decision.
That's his job.
Pure and simple.
You remember, ladies and gentlemen, some uh months ago, city leaders in Detroit, Michigan had had enough of water for welfare.
And they decided to turn off water to homeowners who were not paying the bill.
And they did.
And predictably all hell broke loose.
The people whose Water was turned off, started marching, brought in civil rights leaders, started demanding this, demanding that, raising hell.
United Nations heard about it.
United Nations got any act.
United Nations said, this is unconscionable.
You do not deny clean water to citizens.
Well, the story is back.
United Nations human rights experts described Detroit's mass water shutoffs as a man-made perfect storm yesterday and called on city officials to restore water to those unable to pay, including those with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
Meanwhile, Detroit's officials said the two lawyers' actions and conclusions were agenda-driven, not based on facts about the city's progress in helping residents keep or regain service.
Lelani Farha and Caterina de Albuquerque, who were in town to observe the effect of water service shutoffs.
I kid you not, the UN sent in two women, Leilani Farha and Caterina de Albuquerque.
Not to be confused with the pitcher Al Albuquerque from I think the Arizona Diamondbags.
This is Katarina de Albuquerque.
These two women were in town from the UN to observe the effect of water service shutoff.
You mean you don't know what's going to happen when you shut off people's water.
Well, you mean they had to come in and observe the effects.
I can tell them right now, you go in to turn on the faucet and nothing comes out.
You get a bathtub, turn on the faucet, no water comes out.
When you shut the water off, the water shut off.
What do you mean?
Come in and look at the effects.
Anyway, these two UN women said that the effect here was on the poorest and the most vulnerable.
And particularly discriminated against Detroit's majority black population.
Maybe UN experts should be concentrating on the Ebola outbreak in Africa instead of studying what happens when you shut off water service.
All this is is people who refuse to pay their bills.
What should happen?
There you go, Rush.
There you go.
Just Mr. Coldhearted, right.
Just cold, they don't pay the bill.
That's what would happen to me.
Hell, I almost lost my house because I didn't get a property tax bill.
I got it paid with one day to spare.
Shortly after I'd moved down.
In fact, my first or second year.
The address got all screwed up, and the bill was going to a financial place in New York City.
And they didn't know what it was or what to do with it, so it languished there.
And I had not learned yet when property taxes were owed and due and when the bills went out, so it never even crossed my mind.
And somebody thankfully in the office, a good Samaritan anonymous person called me and told me that they were celebrating in the office that if I wouldn't pay it, I was I was I was going to be kicked out of my house to be sold on the courthouse steps if I didn't pay the bill by the next day.
And the UN would not have come in to find out the effect.
So you don't pay the water bill.
It's that simple.
If you don't pay the gas bill, they shut off the gas.
If you don't pay the electric bill, they'll turn that off too.
But Mithril Limbaugh people need water to survive.
Well then, if you can't afford the water, maybe it's time to get rid of something else.
We all have to adapt.
Boy, that's really cold, Rush.
That's really cold.
I know, but we're already 17 trillion dollars in debt because of welfare.
Primarily.
Uh well.
Yeah, the welfare check should cover paying a water bill.
Maybe if you could pay the water bill at 7 Eleven with your government debit card, but I doubt they would.
we have another case.
Another in a long line of cases of a young child at school being abused by a teacher.
It's another one.
A former Catholic Haskrill gym teacher was arrested yesterday on charges she repeatedly had sex with a 16-year-old male student, including on the campus of the School of Staten Island.
Name is Megan Mahoney, and the New York Post is runner picture here.
Was charged with 30 counts of statutory rape for a series.
Somebody needs to tell them about this in the NFL.
Megan Mahoney was charged with 30 counts of statutory rape for a series of trysts that authorities uh say took place between October 31st of 2013 and January 9th.
Mahoney romped with the teen on numerous occasions, that is at least two times per week during the period, court papers claim.
She was also charged with four counts of criminal sexual act because of mutual oral sex that she and the boy allegedly engaged in at least two times per month during said period.
I hope Matt Drudge doesn't pick up this story because then he would be bullying this teacher.
Ooh.
We can't have that.
It's another it's it's amazing the number of female teachers.
That's not supposed to happen, right?
That isn't supposed to be able to happen.
This is supposed to be the other way around.
It's just it's certainly not the template.
It's a mystery how this happens.
I know it never happened when I was in school.
It never ever happened when I was in school.
I damn it.
But uh anyway, it's uh it's just it's a sign of the changing times.
The modern era.
You hear what Eric Holder said his biggest disappointment is?
Eric Holder is the attorney general.
By order to constitute the attorney general does not pass laws.
He doesn't sign laws, he doesn't propose laws, he doesn't vote on laws.
You know what he said his biggest disappointment is?
Failing to pass expanded gun control laws.
Eric Holder said his biggest failure during his time as the attorney general was his failing to pass expanded gun control laws.
And he criticized Leon Panetta for his negative characterizations of the president during an interview aired Monday on the lead on CNN.
And brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, because the Polar Vortex is coming back.
This is from Landsend.com.
Remember last year's Polar Vortex?
That explained record low temperatures, the steam rising from Lake Michigan, the water that froze mid-slosh.
Well, it's coming back.
Acuweather says that cold air will surge into the northeast in late November.
But the brunt of the season will hold off until January and February, which is normal, that's when winter is.
What is this?
Why is this a story?
Brace your I thought there was something big here.
You mean it's news that it's gonna get cold in January and February.
I think primarily we'll see it getting cold in mid-January into February.
But again, it's not gonna be the same type of situation as we saw last year, not as persistent, said Acuweather.com.
It's cold winter.
It ha it happens all the time.
It gets cold in January and February.
It's called seasonal.
We've been doing this for a hundred decades now.
So this is this is just another way the drive-by media makes people insane.
So here we are, approaching the end of October, and it's big news.
Brace yourself, America.
The Polar Vortex Is coming back.
And all it is is a story on how winter will return in January and February.
Bert, you're next, and I'm glad you waited.
Welcome to the program, sir.
Well, thank you, Rush, from the top, the bottom and the sides of my heart for everything you do.
Well, I appreciate that.
Thank you very much, sir.
Okay.
Yeah, when you mentioned the culture there earlier, it seemed to me like we went from a John Wayne culture to a Pee Wee Herman culture.
What we're stuck in.
How'd you how did you settle on Pee-Wee Herman of all people?
It was either him or Alfred E. Newman, which Obama reminds me of.
Yeah, I could see that.
I can see that.
And his famous famous thing of want me worry.
Right.
That seems like our president.
Well, there have been some major cultural shifts.
There's no question there have been.
And I know why they've taken place.
Political correctness and uh the the whole idea that uh whatever you want to do is fine.
Nobody has the right to define right and wrong, and nobody has the right to define morality.
So now right and wrong are an individual choice, just like morality is an individual choice.
And this results in the breakdown.
I think human beings, whether they want to admit it or not, like boundaries.
They want rules.
They want to know where the lines are that they have to not cross.
And they're being obliterated for a um a whole host of reasons.
And people who have a firm idea of where those lines ought to be are castigated and attacked as too rigid and they're bigots or or what have you.
But Pee Wee Herman, interesting choice of all the people.
Anyway, I've got to take a brief time.
I just saw the clock.
I thought I had another minute to go because I've got the story.
Vegetarians have much lower sperm counts, but now I'm out of time.
Sadly, my friends, we're out of busy broadcast moments.
That's it for today.
This I mean, this zipped by today, too.
They all do.
And I love it.
I I just appreciate you being here so much.
And I look forward to tomorrow.
It's already gonna be Wednesday tomorrow.
We'll see you then, folks.
