Great to have you, Rush Limbaugh, serving humanity here behind the Golden EIB microphone at the distinguished and prestigious Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
Telephone number 800-282-2882, the email address, lrushbaugh at EIBnet.com.
So I've got it.
I just cleared a story.
And it's from the CNBC website.
And it's by somebody named Ben White.
Doesn't matter who it's by.
Why is Obama disconnected and directionless?
He's not.
This is exactly, let me tell you this.
I've got a theory.
And everybody talks about why.
Why is Obama go on so many vacations to get headlines like this?
To make it look like he's detached.
To make it look like, how many stories have you seen?
You know what?
Obama's checked out.
He doesn't like the job anymore.
He knows he's gone.
He doesn't care.
He's on vacation all the time.
He just doesn't care.
How many stories like that are you seeing?
A lot?
It's exactly what they want you to see.
Why does he go on so many vacations?
To make it look like he is what?
Disconnected.
Directionless.
Detached.
Makes it look like he is irritated to have to deal with this stuff.
That's why they say, ah, you know, he's so far ahead of all of us.
This stuff is just so beneath him.
That's why he takes so many vacations.
I'm convinced he takes so many vacations to further this notion that he doesn't know what's going on.
He doesn't care.
He ain't not responsible.
And he is responsible for all of this, folks.
And all of this is about the elimination of any opposition.
And I mean the wiping out of the Republican Party as a functioning, threatening opposition.
That is the objective.
And by the way, that's not just Obama.
That's been something that the left, they are power mad.
They are statists.
You think there was opposition in the Soviet Union?
You think Mao Zeitong had opposition?
Again, it ate what happened to him, including Madame Mao, slip throat audio CSINR.
I mean, they don't put up with it.
And I'm convinced that all of these vacations and all of these stories about being bored and detached and disconnected.
And gosh, why did Obama care?
The black community is asking this all day long.
Every day, something pops up and affects them.
Why did Obama care?
He's in charge of all this.
I think that it is a structured strategy, well-conceived, brilliantly executed strategy.
For all of this crap to be happening in this country for six years.
And here's the Limbaugh theorem.
He doesn't appear to have anything to do with it.
He's always out campaigning against it, in fact.
He's against what's happening in the job market.
He's opposed to what's happening here there.
He's mad about what happened in Benghazi.
And what image is created?
He's got nothing to do with it, poor guy.
And I'm telling you, that's not who he is.
This guy is a hands-on steer the ship, send the orders.
He doesn't have to send orders.
He's got people that know what they're supposed to do.
All these vacations, same thing.
Make it look like he's not even there.
Plausible deniability.
It's like the way the Clintons did it back in the 90s.
Bill was made to look like the good old boy, moderate middle eroder, while Hillary Just baking cookies and maybe diddling and daddling with healthcare here and there.
But she was the one that was the real strident liberal.
She was the one finding all the cabinet people.
Well, Bill got away with appearing this good old boy, yuck, yuck.
Hey, hey, where's the next Broaden ball game, guys?
Where do we sign up?
When in fact, he's ever been what Obama was.
All of this is for public consumption.
All of this is PR, buzz, show, whatever you want to say, image.
You think if Barack Obama came out and said that his objective is to eliminate the Republican Party?
If he came out and honestly said, I don't want any opposition, I want total control of this country.
I don't want anybody being able to stop me.
I don't want anybody being able to tell me what I can't do.
I want to be able to do, and I'm going to do whatever I want to do, whenever I went in the hell of the Constitution.
Do you think he'd be elected?
No way.
So how do you do that?
How do you get away with doing that while everybody's looking?
You go on vacation all the time.
You act like you're opposed to what's going on.
You act like you don't even care.
But then when all of this stuff happens, nobody gets fired?
Rogue agents in Cincinnati denying the Tea Party constitutional rights.
Nobody got fired at all in the Trayvon Martin circumstance.
Well, the NBC guy that edited the 911 call got reassigned.
Nobody gets fired.
They just get hidden somewhere else once their cover has been blown.
And that's the way to look at the modern left, the modern Democrat Party and all of their agencies, including the big one, the mainstream media.
I was during the break, and I was going to, okay, it's time I made this point, building off the last call.
And I show up here.
I check the email, and lo and behold, there's a CNBC story.
Why is Obama disconnected?
Why is Obama directionless?
Made to order.
Makes my point.
After Obama's press conference yesterday, well, whatever it was, I didn't watch it.
I had a couple people send me notes about it.
I said, I don't need to see it.
I don't care.
So whatever it was, I've got soundbites.
They're coming up.
But there's a whole Twitter feed from black Americans angry at Obama for not doing anything for them vis-à-vis Ferguson.
Made to order.
Black Americans all upset because Obama doesn't care.
Meanwhile, look at everything that is happening in this country.
Look at the economy.
Look at the efforts to silence the Tea Party fundraising up.
Look at the character assassination.
Now, all four Republican presidential nominees, or four of them, all have on their resumes, either criminal charges, criminal investigations, and after today, a criminal indictment for Rick Perry.
And I could go on.
Health care?
Look at, you can keep your doctor.
No, you can't.
You can keep your plan.
No, you can't.
Sign up at healthcare.gov.
It's absolutely.
No, it's not.
It's an absolute disaster.
Somehow, Barack Obama is not linked to it.
What do you think all of these stories?
Hey, you know what?
I found out about that just like you did when I read the paper.
Oh, really?
You really want us to believe you don't know anything going on until you read the paper.
To me, it is prima facie evidence of my point that the structured strategy here is to portray Obama as aloof, disinterested, not engaged, not caring, having to be dragged, kicking, and screaming to every press conference, dragged, kicking, and screaming to make a statement on this or that.
Yeah, because you know, Obama's so much smarter than all the rest of us.
This just bores him.
It's so beneath him.
He's tired of the job.
I saw a story Monday or Tuesday.
Oh, this is Tuesday.
Maybe it was Sunday or Monday.
I saw a story headline, Obama has checked out.
It was a leftist.
And they're just assuming, well, you know, Obama, he's tired, he's bored, two years to go, finished, doesn't care anymore, it's over with.
Because everybody's looking now at 2016.
So he's no longer in the spotlight.
He just wants to go on vacation, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And nothing could be further from the truth.
This guy has got two years.
And his regime has just now begun.
You can argue that Ferguson is Act One of what is being called his lame duck business.
So stop and think about it.
You know how the drive-bys create misdirection.
You know how they do things to try to distract you.
Some big scandal happening over there.
Something else happens over here to take your attention away from it, your mind off of it.
While that over there continues to happen, well, nobody's looking anymore because everybody gets so emotionally revved up over what they're telling us about day to day, the daily soap opera.
It's designed to have one crisis after another.
Every one of them Obama knows nothing about.
Every one of them he's terribly worried about.
Every one of them he's desperate to fix.
He'll have a White House summit.
Maybe two, if he really cares.
But that's it.
Now this is all, I'm still answering the question our second caller, the first caller had.
He asked me if, you know, how long are Sharpton and Jackson going to get away with this kind of stuff they're doing in Ferguson?
And it's like, so it's not Sharpton and Jackson.
Sharpton and Jackson are has-bins.
I mean, next to Obama, these people are, they're not even AAA.
Sharpton and Jackson are just caricatures now.
They're filling a role.
They're providing a link to the glory days of the 60s civil rights movement.
This is all Barack Obama.
And it's all about securing his number one objective.
It was Scarborough.
That's right.
It was Scarborough.
I guess he was on some show, some Sunday show.
And Scarborough said, yeah, Obama's checked out.
Washington Post Insiders, Obama acting like a former president.
National Review Online, President of the United States is completely checked out.
UK Telegraph, Barack Obama has already checked out of his job.
MarketWatch.com, right and left finally agree Obama has checked out.
No, he hasn't.
Obama is front and center, pulling every string, directing every movement of his administration.
He is calling every shot.
And remember, a lot of them he doesn't have to verbalize.
He's got people in position who will do what he wants done because they are him.
Leftists are singularly alike.
And they have singular objectives.
The problem is trying to convince people of them.
It sounds so outrageous.
Most people will never believe any of it.
They furthermore wouldn't believe they elected somebody like this.
So whoever says things like this, like me, has got to be a nut.
Pat Cadell, Obama has checked out as being president.
Nope.
What's happening here is Obama is leading from behind.
Obama is calling all the shots while everybody thinks he's on vacation.
Well, everybody thinks he doesn't care.
That's how he gets away with it, folks.
The simple, easiest, best way to get away with all this is to convince people he doesn't even care.
I got to take a brief time out.
We'll do that.
Get back to your phone calls.
And a lot of really, really instructive audio soundbites today if I can find the discipline to start squeezing some of them in.
Tell you what, let's listen to some Obama sound bites here.
Let's just see.
Grab started here at number two just yesterday afternoon in Washington, the White House.
President came back from vacation.
Oh, try this.
People have been asking, why did he come back?
Why did he come back to Washington from the vineyard?
Just for three days.
What's the point?
Just to meet Biden?
Why couldn't they have Biden go to the vineyard?
Nobody on the vineyard wants Biden there.
Oh, well, he's got to meet with people on Iraq and so forth.
We could do that over in the vineyard.
Excuse me, try this.
By returning to Washington for three days, the guy buys another, an additional week of vacation.
So this two-weeker becomes three.
He was originally scheduled to return to Washington at the end of this week.
And that would put him in Washington, well, over Labor Day, whatever.
Nobody's in Washington over Labor Day.
So what do you bet?
Let's just see if I be right.
What do you bet that Obama extends the family vacation another week for a total of three using this three-day break in Washington as an excuse or justification to what, hey, came back to work?
He's going to be gone an additional week just to make up for the time he lost.
Anyway, we'll see if that happens.
Late yesterday in Washington at La Casablanca, Obama make a statement to press about the unrest in St. Louis and Compton with a question.
Seeing the Attorney General sending the Attorney General to Ferguson, that's a step, Mr. President.
Has anyone there asked you or have you considered going yourself?
Is there more that you personally can do, not just for Ferguson, but for communities that might also feel that kind of tension and see it erupt in the way it has.
See?
It happens all over.
Isn't it amazing?
Right now, you can't find another Ferguson, Missouri outside of Chicago and Detroit.
You can't find one, except in Chicago and Detroit's black on black crime.
I'm sorry.
You can't find another Ferguson.
There isn't another Ferguson.
And you look at this question.
Mr. President, don't you go to Ferguson?
Don't you think if you went to Ferguson, you could control some of these other similar events?
There aren't any, and Ferguson stands alone.
There isn't another Ferguson anywhere.
But look at this question.
Is there more that you personally can do, not just for Ferguson, but for communities that might also feel this kind of tension and see it erupt the way it has in Ferguson?
Mind you.
You see, folks, there are all kinds of communities out there and they're effervescent at this very moment.
And they're about to boil over the tensions, the cops and the black people.
It just isn't working.
There's about to be an explosion.
Ferguson after Ferguson after Ferguson.
Except there isn't.
And so the question, don't you think you better go to Ferguson, show these other communities that you care?
The question alone makes my point.
The question is, Mr. Ferris, why don't you get involved?
Okay, Sendholder, great.
Why don't you do something?
Impression being left is he not involved.
He's not doing anything.
He doesn't know what's going on.
He needs to go there.
Here's what he said.
I have to be very careful about not prejudging these events before investigations are completed because although these are issues of local jurisdiction, the DOJ works for me.
And when they're conducting an investigation, I've got to make sure that I don't look like I'm putting my thumb on the scales one way or the other.
Really?
You mean like here in 2009?
I don't know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that, but I think it's fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry.
Number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were.
Stop the tape.
Wait a minute.
He just said that he's not going to carefully prejudge this stuff, that he can't.
He's president.
He can't prejudge these events until the investigations are completed.
He can't do that.
Like the Skip Gates case, where he called the police officers stupid and essentially proclaimed Gates innocent before all the facts were in that led to the beer summit.
And how about this one, March 23, 2012?
Here's the president once again not prejudging, not getting involved till the investigation is complete.
My main message is to the parents of Trayvon Martin.
You know, if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon.
And, you know, I think they are right to expect that all of us, as Americans, are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves and that we're going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.
Right.
And then there was this interview on Fox before the Super Bowl earlier this year.
No, no.
No.
There were some bonehead decisions out of a mass corruption.
Not even mass corruption.
Not even a smidgen of corruption.
Wow.
So here's the guy he says yesterday he's not going to get involved.
He can't go there.
He can't prejudge us.
It's too important.
Till all the facts are in, till the investigation's complete, which, by the way, is going to take months.
You people in Ferguson had better batten down because this is in Hunker Disk could take months by design.
Here's a guy prejudging everything up until Ferguson.
Now, he's got back off, not involved.
Okay, it's back to the phones we go.
Now, this is Paul in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Welcome, and great to have you here.
Hi.
Hey, Rush, thanks for taking my call.
Yes, sir.
After seeing the photo of the officer on the news there, the officer, I can't think of his name, down there in Ferguson.
Darren Wilson.
Wilson.
Okay.
I don't think he was a scared, I mean, a bad cop or a racist cop.
I think he was a scared cop after already being in a confrontation with this kid.
Well, don't you understand?
That's racist.
What picture?
Did he look from a picture?
You think he looks scared?
No, just from his size and knowing that he already took blows to the head, that it's already been reported, and this kid was rushing him, that now is being reported.
No, no, no, no.
This was a gentle giant.
There was no bull rush.
His hands were up.
His hands were up.
He was surrendering.
And it's racist to be afraid of somebody like that if you're a white cop.
Don't you get it?
Well, I'm thinking he was a scared cop and he would do anything that Joe Public would have done if he had a gun with him to protect his life.
Yeah, but you see, the left's take on this is that the only reason that trigger was pulled is because Michael Brown's black.
If Michael Brown had been 6'4, if he'd been 210, whatever, 290, if he just held up a convenience store, if he was bullrushing the cop, everything the same.
The cop would not have pulled a trigger on the white guy.
That's the left's story.
And they're going to make that.
They're going to manufacture that.
They don't care whether it's true.
That is what happens in America.
It's been happening since the days of slavery, and it's still happening now.
And until everybody believes it, they're not going to stop with this investigation.
The media is going to be in Ferguson longer than CNN tried to find the missing Malaysian jet.
Well, that's another thing.
The media is going to pack up and take off, and those poor people in Ferguson are going to be left holding the bag.
Well, that is the drive-by media definition.
You've got that right.
They'll head on down the road.
But I think there's always going to be a media contingent.
I expect to see Ferguson bureaus established.
I wouldn't be surprised they put a bureau in Ferguson.
Hey, this is not a one-off.
You know, this kind of thing happens all the time.
There's going to be another one next week the minute the media gets out of there.
Don't you understand yet how this works?
The myth is happens all the time.
So there has to be another one.
Obama's got to go there.
Didn't you hear Ann Compton's question?
Mr. President, why aren't you going?
It's one thing that's in Holder.
Why aren't you going?
There are towns all over this country worried about an eruption just like happened in Ferguson.
Oh, really, Ann?
Where?
See, there aren't any.
You see, folks, this is a really rare occurrence, which is one of the reasons why it's such a big news story.
If it happened all the time, it would have been dealt with by now.
If it happened all the time, it wouldn't be on the news, it wouldn't be, because they would be dealing with it.
But it is so rare, it's so big news.
But the die is cast, so to speak.
And there will be...
How long was Shep Smith and those boys...
How long was Anderson Cooper?
How long did they stay in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina?
And then how much time did they spend in Houston tracking down the refugees from New Orleans and try to talk them into going back?
The media at large, I mean, they may pack up and head on down the road to the next hoped-for tragedy.
But there's always going to be a media contingent here until this thing gets done.
And I guarantee you, this is so easy to see.
This quote-unquote investigation.
I mean, they're even, they're admitting it's going to take months.
This investigation, I predict to you, will terminate shortly after the November elections.
Maybe, depending on what the outcome is, right before them.
But that's the target date for this to have been adjudicated and dealt with.
And I appreciate the call very much.
Joan, in Palm Springs, California.
What a great place to go play golf.
And see, I got some great friends out there.
One of your favorite places.
Well, it is.
It really is.
It's sad to see that Obama has bought property there.
Oh, I know.
But it's a big enough place that...
Well, I live in Rancho Mirage, actually.
Oh, you do?
Rancho Mirage, isn't that?
When that Bob Hope and Sinatra knew he didn't know where that was, so that's why I said Palm Springs.
Well, Rancho Mirage, like Kentucky, it's all Palm Springs, Palm Desert.
That's why I said it.
Exactly.
And also, I told him years ago I wanted to be one of your mistresses when you were long ago in the 80s.
And I thought, oh, boy, I have all the qualifications.
But anyway, my question is, why hasn't anyone said anything about the storekeeper who was on the video, who was being pushed around by our perp.
Or I shouldn't say perp, I guess.
You mean the gentle giant?
The gentle giant.
That's what I was trying to say.
The gentle giant.
I know what you're talking about.
It's on the video too.
The gentle giant.
The gentleman was being pushed out of the way in the store.
No one's ever mentioned him.
The gentle giant is leaving the store, and somebody comes up to looks like the proprietor and says, hey, it looks like he says, you can't take that.
And the gentle giant shoves him in a chest and points a finger at him.
And he's never been questioned.
Or that's the question.
Well, as we know it.
Yeah, he may not have been questioned by the media, but I imagine that the police department has found him.
And I'm sure that one of the 40 FBI agents in town will find the guy.
The storekeeper.
So was pertinent to what they might have found in his system as well.
Yes, yes.
I think the storekeeper is probably afraid for his life.
Probably.
But so is Mr. Wilson for crying out loud, getting his name out.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, how about this?
The media shows a picture of his house.
They draw maps to where Darren Wilson lives.
They broadcast his address.
And after they do that, then they say, oh, my God, we're sorry.
We didn't mean to.
Oh.
And then they pull it down.
After it's already cached, after it's already, all you got to do is go to Google or YouTube and you can see all of it.
When I saw that, and that was over the weekend, it's just one of the many things, folks, that tells you what's going on here And tells you what the media, which is the Democrat Party, what their outcome, what their hoped-for, angled-for outcome is.
Have you seen the home or the address of the family of the gentle giant?
We haven't?
Okay, we haven't.
But you know, everybody knows what a police department is and where the mayor's office is in St. Louis.
People have been protesting there.
But there's no reason to put the cop's address on camera on TV media.
And there's no reason to put map and directions and picture in the house and so forth, even though he's not there.
They want to make sure they get the right one.
I know exactly.
You'd have to tell me.
I mean, the fact that it's done is blatant in terms of the purpose, the reason, the motivation.
Here's Gus, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Hi, Gus.
Glad you waited.
Great to have you on the EIB network.
Good afternoon.
How are you?
Fine and dandy.
Thank you, sir.
My theory is that I think Obama is very depressed.
I think he is just checked out, really.
I don't agree with you.
I don't think he's in control anymore.
I think he goes out on these trips, has all these people with him to build his ego up.
And I think he's totally beaten down by the inside beltway.
He can't deal with Congress, and I just think he is just depressed and can't wait to get out of office.
That's my opinion.
What makes you think that?
Just looking at the man, and I'm not a psychiatrist.
I'm not a whatever.
I live in Maryland, you know, and here you see him on television all the time, and you look at his picture, you look at his face, and it's just you take a look at what he looked like when he first came into office and just compare.
He looks drawn, he looks beaten, his hair is turning gray.
But that happens to every president.
He's checked out.
It happens to every president.
It happened to Clinton, too.
In fact, it started happening so soon with Clinton, he just went ahead and colored his hair gray.
Well, that's what I'm saying.
I think he is depressed.
I think he's probably bipolar, and he has highs and lows, and he's having more lows than highs, and he has to go out.
Tell me what's not going his way.
A lot.
What?
The Supreme Court's overturned stuff on Obamacare.
He puts in place executive orders that turn to crap.
HHS issued all these rules that are going down the tubes.
I'm a small business owner.
I got impacted with all this insurance crap and everything that's happened.
And I just think that he just can't take being overturned, being overruled.
And I just think he's very, very depressed.
That's my own opinion.
Well, you could be right.
I don't happen to think so.
I think you're right.
He has been unanimously rejected 13 or 14 times at the Supreme Court.
But I think it just makes him mad.
I don't think it defeats him.
I don't think his reaction.
Ah, to hell with it.
You know what?
I don't like this job.
I want to go somewhere else.
I just don't take it that way.
But even if, let's say, Gus, that you are right.
Let's say that every bit of your interpretation is right.
Obama is just fed up.
Can't get it done as fast as he wants.
He's depressed.
So he goes on vacation to get away from it and so forth.
The people working for him are not depressed.
And the people working for him have not phoned it in and are not phoning it in.
And the people working for him have not given up.
And the people working for him are not going on vacation.
The people working for him are doing every bit what he wants them to do.
Now, he may have had grandiose designs that he would get all that he wanted done in the first term.
He may have envisioned a full-fledged wipeout of the Republican Party.
He may have envisioned massive success with Obamacare.
And it may well be that he could not have anticipated any of these problems.
Could well be that he's so stupid that he doesn't know that his ideas will never work.
And it could well be that he's just now realizing how stupid he is and how wrong he is, that socialism doesn't work.
It could well be that he's just checked out.
But the people working for him haven't.
The media hasn't checked out.
Eric Holder hasn't checked out.
What's her name, Valerie Jarrett, hasn't checked out.
And I actually don't think he has either.
I think, stick with my original interpretation of this.
I think the Limbaugh theorem is a good explanation for how he gets away with this kind of stuff.
Anyway, I'm glad you called, Gus.
I really appreciate it.
We will be back.
And we are back.
Rushland Baugh, the cutting edge of societal evolution.
Here is Roberta in Boston.
I'm glad you called.
Great to have you on the EIB network.
Hello.
Rush.
Thank you.
So I'm in tears.
I have finally found my lucky day to reach you.
I stayed right in my house and said, I will dial until I can, whether it be an hour later.
And much to my surprise, I got you in a few minutes.
I love you.
I adore you.
I love your mind so much, Rush.
I cannot tell you how profound your thinking is.
That is way above the average person, including me.
But when I heard you in that little deduction, that presentation of what you said about the theory of Obama looking bored.
No, wait a minute.
That was Gus that said that.
Obama is playing it all to just the way you said.
And I believe it.
And I also, dare I say on the telephone, a, oh my God, I'm so excited to speak to you.
A coup d'état.
That's what I keep thinking.
I keep thinking he's working to overthrow what he's doing now, overthrowing the government, and then usurping as the dictator of America.
Well, now wait.
This is very crucial because the way this is being, there's no overthrow.
There's a takeover.
Takeover.
And a takeover, it's going to happen by virtue of elections.
That's the objective.
Now, I think, Roberta, that all of this is going to backfire on these people in November.
I think they haven't got the slightest idea what's happening.
While they sit out there and do this Ferguson stuff, and while they sit out there and they continue to pound this country and try to make people think this is the worst god-awful place on the planet and the most unfair, mean-spirited, whatever place, they do not know how many millions of people resent the hell out of what they are doing.
And while there's no, I know what you mean by takeover, but if they can pull this off by having it all happen at the ballot box with Democrat after Democrat after Democrat being, or actually Republican after Republican after Republican being eliminated via scandal or indictment or whatever, making it impossible for one to get elected, that's how they do it.
But Russ, when I think of his tutelage with the inculcation of Frank Marshall Davis and his readings on Saul Alinsky, I say, how coincidental that he moved into Chicago where Saul Alinsky was born, where Frank Marshall Davis and what's his name?
Obama's father or grandfather introduced Obama to him.
That was one of his two mentors, the other being Jeremiah Wright.
