Time Text
And greetings and welcome back.
It's great to have you on the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
Rush Limboy, having more fun than a human being should be allowed, serving humanity while executing assigned host duties flawlessly.
Zero mistakes.
So everybody's wondering, so how do you contract, say, Ebola or any disease despite a hazmat suit?
Well, eventually you have to take the hazmat suit off.
And they are decontaminated before you do.
But who knows if you get every speck that might be on it?
And what are they using to decontaminate it?
Who knows?
I mean, the virus does, if you're wearing a hazmat suit, the virus will, if you're dealing with these patients, the virus is going to attach itself.
It's going to find its way to the hazmat suit.
You've got to take it off at some point.
Maybe the disease does not permeate the hazmat suit, get inside.
Maybe all it takes is somebody getting out of one.
It's too the possibilities are wide open here.
All we know is that people who have taken extreme precautions have indeed.
Doctors have contracted the disease.
There's a great article, UK Daily Mail, that has some really chilling pictures about the situation in Liberia at these medical centers.
And folks, this is about as backwards as you can get.
This is, I mean, Ike, look, I can totally understand wanting to bring American missionaries back home and treat them for this disease rather than leave them in one of these African countries or even trying to treat them there.
Because you could have a riot if you start treating an American, you get a limited amount of this serum, for example, this mystical, magical serum.
But if you go over there and you just start treating the Americans and you don't try to help everybody else, you could have PR problem riots, who knows, whatever else.
So you do get them out.
I understand that.
But the making fun, the mocking of people who are concerned about this, that's a little bit over the top.
And I think, you know, it's understandable.
The people doing the mocking are people either in the administration or in the media defending the administration.
And they, of course, don't want the thought out there that the regime could be so incompetent as to let this happen.
But the problem is we see everything else this regime is doing that's incompetent.
And that's giving the benefit of the doubt, claiming all this is incompetent.
We see the absolute disaster that this regime is making of this country.
And that's, you know, that's not just idle talk, and that's not talk designed to appeal to an audience.
It's what I really believe, and it scares the heck out of me.
And if I let myself go, I do get depressed over what's happening to this country.
The thing that depresses me even more, what Obama does, I can get.
I mean, that's who he is.
And who the Democrats are.
That's who they are.
What they're doing makes sense.
The thing that really has always gotten to me is all the low-information people that don't see it.
And I'll bet the same thing for you.
You pull your hair out trying to figure out how in the world do people, A, not see it, or B, and not just the low information, how about all the high-information, super-elite, wealthy people like in Hollywood who are giving money so that all this can continue?
Did they know what they're doing?
I know, folks, it's a maddening thing that we're confronted with every day.
Now, I want to go back, if I may, to this impeachment business and this granting of blanket amnesty to five or six million illegals currently living in the shadows.
Because I think there's a key point here.
What is the president doing?
The president is running around, bellyaching, whining, and moaning that the Republicans won't work with him.
Saying such things as, come on, man, you know what?
Just stop the hating.
Stop the hating.
And stop being so mad all the time.
Stop being so mad.
Work with me on this.
Help me do this.
Now, of course, the Republicans don't want any of this to happen, so they're not helping.
And Obama can't get the Congress to go along with what he wants to do, so he runs around and says, well, you know what?
If they won't act, I will.
And he says, I'm not going to sit here and not do something just because they won't.
And he tries to make all these low-information people think, well, you know, what a great guy.
What a great guy.
These buffoons in Congress that simply won't do it, but he's going to do it anyway.
Well, let's not forget something.
This president had control of both houses of Congress for two years.
And he did not even put forth an immigration bill.
In fact, during the two years that Obama had total control of the legislative branch, when he went out and made public appearances and people said, why don't you just grant amnesty?
Why don't you just do it?
I can't.
You know what?
The Constitution, I can't do that.
Constitution doesn't give me that power.
Remember that?
He would tell people, he went to the Supreme, he went to the United Nations.
And he, you know, yes, what?
Well, why don't we just put the guy that did the video that caused Benghazi in jail because of our laws?
I just can't put people in jail, even though he had.
So this guy hides behind the Constitution whenever he finds it convenient.
And he told, he had, now, folks, this is crucial, important, for two years.
For two years, he had control of both houses of Congress.
And he did not move an immigration bill.
And during those two years, he was complaining that he was constrained by the Constitution.
Now to say, as he is today, that he's going to act alone because the Congress won't act is a lie.
The president would act unilaterally after refusing to act with Congress when he controlled it.
Why didn't he do this when he controlled Congress?
Why didn't he grant amnesty when he controlled everything?
And why is he willing to do it now when he doesn't?
And Mr. Sterdley, good old Mr. Sterdley, swerved into the answer in the last hour.
He didn't want his party getting blamed for it.
But he'll do it now with the Republicans in control of the House because as far as the media is concerned, the Republicans control the Congress, see.
Even though the Democrats control the Senate, and even though the Senate bottles up anything coming out of the House, one of the reasons House Republicans don't put anything forward is because it's going to die in the Senate.
That's just one reason why.
Another reason is that, well, I don't even want to go there.
But it'll die in the Senate.
Point is, the Republicans do not control Congress.
They just have one House, House of Representatives.
So it's divided.
It's bipartisan.
But the reason Obama didn't do this when he had both houses of Congress is because the Democrats would have gotten blame.
And not credit, not credit.
Now, Obama's out trying to make it look like blanket amnesty and all these children.
That's who we are.
That's who we are as Americans.
And if somebody wants to come to our country and improve their life, then we're not going to stand in their way.
Well, why didn't he do it when he had nobody stopping him?
And why does he want to do it now?
Well, there's a whole host of reasons, but one of them is it's still unpopular.
And he thinks that the Republicans will end up getting some of the blame for not working with him on it.
And he was left to no choice.
But the Republicans end up in the discussion of who gets blame.
When the Republicans didn't have the House, and the Democrats did, there was no way to blame it on the Republicans.
My point is, it was unpopular then, amnesty.
It is unpopular now.
And the only way to do it, the only reason to do it now is if you can get the Republicans blamed for it and maybe goad them into impeaching or saying or doing things that might rally the Democrat base.
But this sob story that he has to act alone because the Congress won't work with him is bogus.
There are no good intentions here, folks.
And this is something that the left relies on constantly.
We're never supposed to examine the results of what they do, like the failure of the great society and the failure of the war on poverty and the failure of the whole social welfare system.
No, no, no.
We are supposed to examine their good intentions and how big their hearts are and how much they care.
They care more than Republicans and they're bigger-hearted.
And we're supposed to look at that as we judge them.
Well, there aren't any good intentions here.
They might try to say, well, look, we only want to help these poor people from Central America fleeing gangs and cartels and war-torn poverty and strife.
But at some point, if you're going to let people in for that reason, how do you keep anybody out?
Because everybody in this planet comes from someplace worse off than we are.
So on what basis do you close the border to anybody if you open it because they're coming from poverty, crime, war, whatever.
That's never been the basis on which we let people in.
That's never been the formulation of immigration policy.
That's why there's been political asylum and that kind of thing.
But that isn't immigration.
So there are no good intentions here.
What this is, this is the cynical use of race as an excuse to transform the Constitution and destroy The exceptional results that separate and equal branches of government have delivered for over 200 years.
And I'm telling you what is the root of this.
The root of this for people in the modern leftist movement, the reason why the Constitution doesn't mean anything to them, and in fact, the reason why it has to be blown up is because the Constitution was ratified when we had slavery.
And some of these people, anything that happened after that, such as the Civil War, the 14th Amendment, anything to deal with it, to fix it, to make amends for it, does not count.
The fact the Constitution was ratified during slavery is all these people need to despise it and to want to get rid of it, to rewrite it, whatever.
That is the basis.
And that is why at the heart of all of this illegal immigration is race.
The impoverished, the poor, the hungry, the war-torn, the fleeing criminals, drugs, they're all people of color.
The exact kind of people who are not given the same freedoms and equalities as the white people when this country was founded.
And so they are all due payback, no matter where they come from.
So what we have here, the cynical use of race, is being used.
When Obama talks about transforming the country, he simply means ignoring and transforming the Constitution.
And one of the best ways, I mean, the Constitution spells out the three branches of government.
It spells out the separation of powers.
It provides checks and balances to make sure that one branch doesn't become dictatorial.
So what's Obama do?
Obliterate the separation of powers.
Act unilaterally without Congress.
What better way to shred the Constitution or spit on it than to do that, than to totally wreck to smithereens the whole concept of the separation of powers and the system of checks and balances, which has worked for over 200 years.
What better way to render the Constitution inapplicable than to flood this country with victims of this country the world over?
Because anybody alive who is not experiencing the bounty and the prosperity available in this country is a victim of this country.
That's what they believe.
The colonial instincts of their behavior or the imperialistic tendencies of this country or the use of our military, it all fits that meme, if you will.
So in other words, acting alone as Obama is threatening to do is the undermining of the process that creates laws in our constitutional republic.
Acting alone or threatening to is a calculated act of what's the word, insurrection?
It's a calculated act of opposition and protest against the Constitution and what it means.
And in so doing, that is supposed to communicate to Hispanics and the rabid left and all these victims out there that he cares about them.
That he is tearing down all of these walls that exist to keep the poor and the downtrodden out because after all, that's what America did at its founding.
It's right there in the Constitution.
We established a supposed free and equal country with slaves in it.
And for this, they can't get past that.
No matter what's happened, Civil War, 14th Amendment, all the things that have happened to deal with that, to fix that, those things don't matter.
The original ratification is what serves to tick them off forever.
Hey, quick telephone call will go to Mark in Richmond, Virginia.
Mark, I'm glad you called.
Welcome to the EIB Network, sir.
Hello.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you for taking my phone call today.
The question is, what do you think of Eric Cantor's resignation?
Do you think that was done to help genuinely help David Bratt?
Or do you think it's done to get a better paying job that he's got on the side?
Or what?
I don't know.
I haven't really thought about it.
I mean, he's gone anyway, so why not now?
He's got to be leaving at some point.
I haven't really taken the time to attach any motives to it, but you are from Virginia.
I mean, you may be more informed than I on this.
Is there some theory being bandied about as to why he ⁇ are you upset that he quit this early?
No, it was just a surprise to all of us in this area.
But he only quit, what, a couple weeks earlier than he intended to, right?
Well, no, I thought it was going to stay on until, you know, his term expires in January 20, whatever, you know, when they sign it of the person to get elected to come into office, right?
Well, I could be mistaken.
I thought that he was going to resign sometime in August before the recess or shortly after, sometime maybe in September.
I don't know where I saw that.
It might have been on election night or shortly after.
But it had to do with he wasn't going to be around for certain votes.
That he was.
Look, there's no question he's got a lobbying future.
You know that, and I know that.
And how do we know that?
Do you know why we know that?
Because of all the money that he was getting from everywhere else in the country.
Well, where's he been vacationing?
Well, that too.
The Hamptons.
So, more power to him.
I mean, if you throw him out, your turn for him to get rich now.
He'll show you.
And back to the phones we go.
El Rushbo executing assigned host duties flawlessly Caleb in Huntsville, Alabama.
Great to have you on the program, sir.
Hello.
Hello, sir.
Thank you for taking my call.
You bet.
Just wanted to let you know that if you're worried about Ebola, all you need to do is just point your attention to social media.
They got it broken down into an oversimplified flowchart where if you're worried about it, all you need to do is just bring yourself down to the last point and it basically just lets you know that if you haven't contracted any Ebola through finally fluid, that you just need to go ahead and shut up.
Social media's got the answer, huh?
They got the answer, and it's an unnamed source.
Basically, just in your preferred search engine, just go ahead and look for flowchart, Ebola, and it'll pop up.
And what does it tell you to do?
You start out in the flowchart, you know, it says something to the effect of, you know, are you concerned with the Ebola?
And, you know, it says yes or no.
And if you follow and say no, it says, well, you know, good thing.
If you say yes and you follow down to the next point that they're trying to make, it says, well, have you been in any context will tell you whether you've got Ebola or not.
Exactly, exactly.
Let me see if I can split up.
But anyway, it just lets you know that if you have been contacted by anybody that has Ebola through bodily fluids, you just need to go to the CDC.
Otherwise, just shut up about it.
Really?
And how does that make you feel?
Well, as someone who really hasn't known any knowledge about Ebola, I think this is just a really clever way of oversimplifying something that's just probably a lot bigger than what it really is.
Wait a minute, it's Facebook.
I mean, that's the gospel, isn't it?
You're right.
It's Twitter, too.
Basically, that flowchart, if I'm hearing you right, that flowchart basically tells you to shut the hell up and stop complaining, right?
Stop complaining, stop worrying about it, and go about your business.
Right.
Well, look, in some, nobody's trying to start a panic here.
And normally, folks, I have to tell you, normally that is my attitude on all these kind of things.
There's something about this.
You know, I never doubt my instincts.
There's something about this that's got just a portion of my brain flashing a little red light.
And I can't, it's just, it's a gut instinct here.
Now, for example, when the regime goes nuts with, I've never had a flu shot.
They go nuts telling everybody to get a flu shot.
And when I've heard about the bird flu, all those bird flu scares and the swine flu never affected me because I figured I don't touch birds and I'm never going to contact with a pig, so I'd have to worry about it.
This, however, is an entirely different thing to me because this virus has no cure.
And it is deadly and it seems to spread pretty easily.
So just something about this.
I mean, I started feeling so bad for these poor people in Africa that they're living in backward circumstances anyway.
They've got enough going on without this.
And now this has been unleashed on them.
When I heard that we're going to bring...
Now, I know the Centers for Disease Control has all kinds of viruses and diseases contained in labs for study.
And I'd probably scare you to find out.
I know.
There's something about this, though, that made me think I'd better be careful and pay attention to it.
And I can't explain why.
But this thing that you're seeing on Facebook that basically tells you to shut up and go away.
I mean, I've had that attitude about all these vaccines the regime puts on us.
You know, I've never had one of these vaccines.
I don't do the, well, the flu shots.
Bird flu, swine flu, whatever it is.
Anyway, Caleb, I appreciate the phone call.
I wouldn't know what was going on in Facebook without your call.
I just have had the flowchart emailed to me, so I'll get a chance.
Well, here.
I happen to just have my laptop in front of me here today.
So let me see if I can open right now.
I'll check it during the break.
In the meantime, Irene in Sonora, California.
Welcome to the EIB Network.
Hello.
Thank you, Rush.
Listened to you for almost 27 years now.
Well, I appreciate that.
Thank you.
My thoughts are these with Obama.
He made a speech last week regarding hating.
Well, I think we need to turn that around on him.
This man is so full of hate for the founding, for the Constitution, for the people, for the country.
There's nothing about this country that he loves.
It's all hate.
He's doing what he's doing from.
That's a pretty speech.
He's hurting our borders.
He's bringing Ebola in.
Contrast that with Netanyahu, what this wonderful man is doing for his country, to protect his country from people who want to destroy his country, his people.
He loves his country and his people.
Obama does not.
He has no love.
And it's evident in what he is doing.
And it finally came to me this weekend.
I've been, my husband will tell you, I have been so upset about this Ebola.
Why would anybody in their right mind would they allow or sign executive orders to bring two people to this country with a deadly, deadly virus, and it's a horrible way to die.
I have too much information.
I wish I didn't do what I did this weekend.
I'm overloaded right now.
And it came to me, I could be wrong.
I don't know.
Hate.
He hates us so much, he wants to see us destroyed.
And he's so clouded with his hate.
Let me ask you a question.
Have you ever, Irene, in your Sonora, I mean you're Northern California.
You're in enemy territory there.
Oh, man.
Well, fortunately where we live, we live in the middle of the forest.
We have seven and a half acres in the middle of the forest.
And a lot of people up here are conservative, believe it or not.
Well, that's good for you.
We've got a little patch.
I'm not saying everybody, but there are a lot of, we are still outnumbered, but I'm in a little patch with a lot of conservatives.
Have you ever felt this way about any other dominant?
Democrat president, you've had this pretty, you've point blank come out and said he's doing this because he hates America.
No, you know, unfortunately, Carter was, he was a lovable man, and he was out of his depths.
Bill Clinton was a big pus face that knew how to play the politics.
This man, on the other hand, no, he hates, and his hate runs deep, and so does his wife.
They are both haters.
I mean, we don't have slavery anymore.
I get a kick out of people.
They keep on saying, we have to live for today.
We have to let the whatever happened, happened in history, it happened.
We learn from it.
We carry on.
Well, they're not carrying on.
We don't have slavery anymore.
It's gone.
We eradicated it.
But they still harp on the same thing, the same thing.
It's almost like an obsessive hatred that they have, a contempt.
It doesn't matter.
We don't have slavery.
We are the best country there is.
People are coming here.
We're not going to other countries.
It's pure, unadulterated hate.
You can see it in what he's doing.
It makes sense now.
And unfortunately, we have a willing media, and there are a lot of Democrats that have, I never thought I'd say this, but there are a lot of Democrats who believe the way he does.
I used to be a Democrat until Carter.
I made a big mistake voting for him, and then I became a conservative Republican, and I wish we had a Ronnie Reagan.
But I've been watching all this, and the only answer that I can come up with is this man hates us.
See, that's the thing.
People are looking at this, and they're trying to explain it to themselves.
Why in the world would you grant amnesty to $6 million?
Why would you basically spit on the Constitution with a smile?
Why would you do this?
Why would you flood this country with a permanent underclass that can't provide for itself, that's going to bleed the budget and the welfare systems?
Why would you do this?
And why would you build another welfare state?
Why would you destroy an economy that made prosperity for more people than the world has ever done?
Why would you do this?
And I'm sure that's what you've been doing, and you can't come up with any other answer, right?
Right.
And it's been driving me nuts.
My poor husband has to live with me.
And I just have to be careful and not say my heart is so heavy right now because I think I've come up, I could be wrong, but any, I look at what Netanyahu is doing for his country.
He loves his people, and you can tell he loves his people.
This man doesn't.
And this man is going to do everything he can for the next two years, few months, to undermine and hurt because he hates people.
You know, I could play devil's advocate with you.
Let me give you an example.
Well, you know, Irene, you say they hate America, but what if, in fact, they really love America and they hate the imperfections and they hate the discrimination and they hate the bigotry and they're trying to rectify all of these things that have kept people disadvantaged for all of these years.
It isn't fair that only 1% of the population is seeing their incomes rise.
It isn't fair that the middle class cannot afford basics in life anymore.
And we're trying to fix this by getting even with the people who made this possible in the first place.
And that is the founders and their buddies.
Okay, so you're going to justify the ends justifies the means.
No, you're going to.
This country has raised.
This country has been due to pay a price for a long time.
And we're the guys coming along and finally making this country fair and open for everybody, not just the select few.
That's not love, Rush.
That is not love.
That's not how you deal.
Well, I know.
It's resentment.
Each circumstance and the brain.
It's resentment and grievance, but that's the politics of the left is all resentment and grievance.
I know.
But they're the ones that think they own compassion.
You're not possible.
You're not.
What you're doing is not compassionate.
What they're doing, that's compassion, putting people on welfare, saying, oh, you can't take care of yourself.
Let me do that.
I don't think so.
I'll take care of myself.
Thank you very much.
Well, I appreciate your call.
And I sympathize totally.
I know exactly what you've been going through, trying to explain all this.
And you've been trying to do it in a way that makes common sense.
And you can't.
And what you're actually doing is helping illuminate the problem.
And one of the problems is that people simply, most people are not going to be able to come to the conclusion you've come to.
A lot probably have gotten close.
But the low information crowd will never get there.
They can't conceive it.
Many Obama voters will never, ever admit they made such a tragic, egregious mistake.
No, no, it can't be that.
And they'll just chalk it up to, if they have any problem with what's going on, they'll chalk it up to incompetence, maybe try to do too much too, or blame it on the Republicans for not helping and forcing Obama.
You'd be stunned at some of the idiotic justifications that you'll get for this out there.
I have this flow chart that has been posted on Facebook.
I can't print it out and show it to you because it has the F-bomb in it.
And so I can't do that.
And I don't have time to go in and Photoshop edit thing out.
I don't want to scratch it out.
So it basically is three lines and a red banner at the top with yellow font.
Are you concerned about Ebola?
It's a flow tree chart, actually.
Yes, exclamation point in red.
Blue, not really.
And in a white box, the word good.
So you're not supposed to be concerned.
Have you had direct contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person?
Yes or no?
If yes, please call the CDC.
If no, please shut the F up.
So it's meant to be funny while at the same time conveying that it's not worth panicking over and just shut up about it.
That's the purpose of the Facebook flowchart, as I see it there.
Did you hear, this is a fascinating, another case study of media bias.
Don't use me.
Reporter admits seeing rocket fired from a Gaza hospital and then blasts pro-Israel media for quoting her.
A member of the media from Finland, here's the story.
It's at theblaze.com.
A member of the media from Finland reported that Hamas fired a rocket from a Gaza hospital.
She reported it.
She saw it.
She saw Hamas fire a rocket from a Gaza hospital, making the hospital a target.
When that fact was picked up by pro-Israel media, the reporter called the broadcast of her report disgusting and propaganda.
The report was filed by Aishi Zidan of Finland's news media.
She noted the rocket was fired from the backyard of the hospital.
And after it was reported by the Israelis, she had a cow.
She thought that this was somehow a violation of journalistic principle.
She's a journalist.
She reported seeing a rocket fired from a Hamas hospital.
But nobody was supposed to know this, apparently, except her liberal news buddies.
Apparently, it was just, it was, I guess, for internal use only.
And I don't know what pro-Israel media is.
Somebody in the media saw it and reported it.
And she was, what kind of human being goes out of their way to protect heavily armed, bloodthirsty terrorists?
Anti-Semitic, bloodthirsty terrorists.
What kind of human being goes out of their way to protect them like this Finnish journalist is doing?
Anyway, got to break a brief time out here, folks, but sit tight.
We'll wrap it up when we get back.
No, I did not forget it.
The transgenders versus the feminazis.
I didn't forget it.
It just said things superseded.
It's a long story.
It's eight pages.
I can't get into all of it.
But I promise I'll tell you why the feminazis are mad at the transgenders and vice versa and whatever else happens between now and then tomorrow.
