And greetings and welcome back, Rush Limbaugh and the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
And the most listened to and the most talked about Radio Talk Show in America, and it is Friday, ladies and gentlemen.
So live from the Southern Command in sunny South Florida.
It's open live Friday.
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yeah.
That's right.
When we go to the phones, most of the restrictions that are placed on you Monday through Thursday are lifted.
And you can talk about whatever you want to talk about.
You can ask penetrating personal probing questions.
Nobody ever does, but you can if you want.
You can talk about the mating habits of the Australian rabbit bat if you choose.
We'd never let you do that on Thursday, but you can do it today.
If you want to complain about the constant photographs of the hips of Kim Kardashian, that's what Open Line Friday is for.
It never happens, but it's permissible.
800-282-288-2, the email address L Rushbaugh EIBNet.com.
Can I?
You know, our our our last caller was Bob from Virginia.
And he's like so many Americans.
He was talking about the influx of illegals.
Uh, particularly these unaccompanied children, the Dream Act children, and the overall mass.
We're being swamped at the moment at the borders.
Now the traditional answer to a caller who would call with his allegations.
And let's review his allegations.
Yeah, the Russia, a hundred thousand of everyone, we're gonna lose Virginia.
Are already, I can't, I can't get a contracting job in Northern Virginia because I don't speak Spanish.
I can't get a word losing.
If we lose Virginia, we've lost the presidency.
And they're flooding it with a hundred thousand of them, and they're gonna do it to Texas.
Now the normal reaction to that would go like this.
Bob, I'm sorry, you're wrong.
This isn't orchestrated.
The Obama administration doesn't want these people here.
That's why they're giving these poor kids English lessons and lawyers.
That's why they're trying to track down their parents.
Provide transportation for the kids, their relatives in the U.S. so we can get them home.
That's why the Department of Homeland Security requires that these unaccompanied alien children get family planning and full medical checkups and send them home.
All in preparation for their eminent deportation.
That's what would the the normal answer would be, but it isn't.
None of that.
How is this even happening?
You know, we've got this story at World Net Daily, these former border agents are saying that this whole thing is orchestrated.
I can't think of a time in my life where tens of thousands of unaccompanied illegal children have shown up at the same time.
Janet Napolitano said the border is more secure than it has ever been in the nation's history.
So how in the world can this be happening?
And again, I've asked the question.
There's Obama at Worcester Tech.
Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraising event talking about Dream Kids as the future of America.
Thank you.
They know and we know that our future resides in them.
What president talks this way?
Do you ever remember a president speaking this way about people in violation of U.S. law?
There's that.
Look, there is that spokeswoman from the looks like the State Department that I saw over the weekend.
Well, she's gone now.
Classic example of a modern educated feminazi coming out of some Ivy League school, ending up in government.
That's the woman who said, we ain't the thing department.
We know far more about what happened to Mr. Bergbell and his platoon members.
His platoon members might lie.
They might make a we know far more.
And she was snarky and snivelling and arrogant and condescending and ignorant at the same time.
But what back to my dad lose my train of thought, what what president speaks this way?
If you're going to talk about the future of America, normally you talk about American kids.
But you see, American kids are the children of the oppressors.
American kids are the children of the white oppressors.
The privileged white oppressors.
You might think that's a little bit extreme language.
That's exactly how they are described in mainstream leftist enclaves.
White children of privilege.
That's the view of this country that many of them hold, and they've got a sympathetic president and administration running the country.
Okay.
Uh I've been putting it off and putting it off, but I can't, especially since I committed to it.
Yeah, it's time to start on the chipping away of the audio sound bites.
That are about Mrs. Clinton and me, and that's guess I deserve this because I said earlier in the week, look at I'm really tired of it.
I'm bored with it.
There isn't anything new.
In fact, I almost feel like my intelligence is being insulted when when I'm told that I have to care.
When I'm told that I have to think that this smartest woman in the world, I have to take her seriously.
I have to believe that she's this and that and the other thing.
And I just don't.
So the things I have said have ended up being fodder elsewhere in the media for guests on cable shows to comment upon.
Monday night, NBC Nightly News.
Let's just this is to set this up.
This is the Hillary comment in question here.
Cynthia McFadden, who used to be at ABC, she's not at NBC.
She's uh interviewing uh Mrs. Clinton.
She said, I think an awful lot of people think that we're less safe today than we were a week ago, because these five guys that we've swapped for Bergdahl, these five guys are out now, and we're a lot less safe because of that.
These five guys are not a threat to the United States.
They are a threat to the safety and security of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
We may be kind of, you know, missing the bigger picture here.
We want to get an American home.
Whether they fell off the ship because they were drunk or they were pushed or they jumped, we try to rescue everybody.
Or what about if they're war heroes or whatever why insult Bergdahl by associating him with some drunk that fell off a ship?
Or was pushed or jumped.
I mean, in the story, but Bergdahl that he was a what hero to certain people?
Oh, I know this is a deserter and so forth, but but why?
Well, yeah, I know.
Reports that he was on Hashish in the hookah, uh, uh, and in and rather enjoying it, and became one of the Taliban, um, and all that.
But regardless, that's not the point.
The point is, I think this statement of hers that there's no threat to the nation.
They know threat to Americans and not here.
Threat is to Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Come on, you know.
I think that is indicative of what we're dealing with here.
So, anyway, my reaction to that is what ended up being played on cable news this morning.
America's newsroom and a Fox News Channel.
Bill Hemmer spoke with Juan Williams and the editor at large at HotAir.com, Mary Catherine Hamm, about me and my criticism of former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Rutham, for saying that the five released Taliban members are not a threat to the U.S. Now to set up the segment.
Here is Hammer's introduction and the clip they played of me talking about Mrs. Clinton.
Brush Limbaugh with some harsh words for Hillary Clinton over remarks she made earlier in the week that the five Taliban commanders freed from Gitmo are not a threat to the United States.
Now I think this might come back to haunt Mrs. Clinton.
This one little answer to this one little question to me is proof that this woman is neither smart nor competent.
Now, let me elaborate why in case you missed it.
Osama bin Laden wasn't here, and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed wasn't here, and Ramzi Yussef wasn't here, and Ramzi bin Al-Sheb wasn't here.
The 19 hijackers did come, they were in and out, but all the planning, all the fundraising, all of the orchestrating took place exactly where these five Taliban released prisoners of war.
They don't have to be in the United States to wreak havoc here.
That to me is what was absurd about this.
Oh no, they're not a problem.
They're problem for Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Come on, you know.
I mean, they're not a threat to the safety of the United States.
Like Bin Laden wasn't.
So anyway, they played the clip, time now to go to Juan Williams, whose reaction here is to suggest that Hillary graduated from fancy colleges, and I didn't.
So who am I to criticize her?
Comes in a week in which she uh said they were dead broke when they left the White House, and that set off conservative blogs.
And now this one coming from Rush Limbaugh.
I don't know if he wants to test his mensa score versus Hillary.
I mean, you know, she's a big-time college grad.
But I think what he's trying to do is he's trying to deflate a balloon here.
And that what he said later in that monologue was that Hillary Clinton is supposed to be the brightest woman ever, the most competent woman, and therefore she can be president, and he wants to take down that whole structure right now.
Well, well, credit where credit's due.
Uh, I am trying to pierce that balloon.
Um I just to me, it's it's so phony as a construct anyway.
And it started back in 1992.
Smartest woman in the world.
They gave her health care.
She botched that.
She botched the way they handled Paula Jones.
She botched practically everything they gave her to do.
Botched Benghazi, botched the Russian reset.
Where is the evidence of this brilliance and this competence?
Anyway, so we had another side bite uh on this with Mary Catherine Hammond Juan Williams continuing.
I'm not sure that electorally it will matter in the end.
I hope that's not the case.
I think she will ride the wave of uh a lot of identity politics.
Uh, she will be treated quite well by the media after she gets through an initial sort of questioning.
The messaging will be look, I'm the first woman, and you better want to break this glass ceiling with me, or else you hate women.
And anybody who discusses her or criticizes her, much like in the form of our criticisms of Barack Obama will be called sexist instead of racist.
Limbaugh said nobody's gonna want to watch a woman age on TV if she's elected president.
So I think that we already started that identity politics.
You know what this means.
This watching a woman aged.
I I asked the question with a picture of Hillary.
Did the American people want to watch a woman?
And it didn't say this, a with a picture of Hillary up there.
They haven't forgotten it.
It's like they have forgotten Operation Chaos.
So Ju Williams, he cites that and uh, and then and then he uh uh cited uh this is the brightest, the smartest woman uh in the world.
So they're they're very much aware that these little things that irritate them, they never forget them.
Yeah, yeah, and Limbaugh is American people.
Oh Uh I was the first.
I absolutely was the first, and I rate it no well.
Here's the the way this came up.
I was defending her.
Don't forget.
This was part of Operation Chaos.
And I was defending.
She had been thrown over the bus or under the bus by her own party for this young, articulate black guy.
And here's a woman.
This was her campaign, 2008.
The presidency was hers.
This was her payback for enabling Clinton all those years for helping him to survive.
And now look what they're doing to her.
And look how they're treating it.
You remember all this.
And then the operation chaos was to keep her campaign alive.
And I think there was somebody who had made some comments before me about Mrs. Clinton's uh just HR, do you remember who it was?
I know there was somebody before me that referenced her appearance.
It was well, I forget where it was.
But anyway, I'd I I the if you re if you recall, I said how unfair is it that people do the American people want to do the American people want to watch a woman age publicly in office, and I was doing it in defense of her because she was being ripped up by her own party.
You remember there were there were some really deep divisions in the Democrat Party during that primary.
And I said that's exactly what I was I was totally as part of Operation Chaos, and I was defending Mrs. Clinton, but look what Juan Williams remembers.
All he remembers is that I asked the question.
He doesn't know or maybe didn't know, doesn't certainly remember the context.
And of course, Mary Catherine Hamm is correct.
The attraction for the Democrats and Mrs. Clinton is another first.
And any criticism of Mrs. Clinton will be said to be sexist, therefore illegitimate and not allowed.
Like criticism of Obama is called racism.
But I don't think it's that automatic because she's not new.
She has been around the block a bunch of times.
On the public stage in 1992, she has got a record.
Whereas Obama didn't.
She and it's not an admirable one.
So we have uh you know, it might have been, it might have been, I don't want to get anybody in trouble here, but it might have been a photo I saw on Drudge that made me ask that question.
It might have been because that didn't.
I didn't just bring that out of nothing.
I didn't grab it out of the air.
I mean, it might have been sitting there, but I didn't just grab it.
Somebody else ran with it first.
I told you, I told you.
I guess it's ten, right?
I guess I that that's that that's it, folks.
Uh we're getting proof now.
It was a photo on drudge that I was reacting to.
I got whole thing started.
Look, let me grab some phone calls.
It is open line Friday.
We'll get back to all these sound bites.
We're just getting started here on that.
This is uh Ron in Prosper, Texas.
Welcome to the program.
Great to have you here.
Oh, thank you right for taking my call.
I've been trying to get weeks uh get this out.
I would uh like to ask for your help, your research, and uh examining whether that Malaysian Airlines was possibly taken out by some kind of electromagnetic weapon.
And the reason I'm saying that is this plane didn't know up, down, left, right.
We've been told for years that there are weapons, and I think that Chinese or enemies, they usually say enemies that could take out our electronic infrastructure by a weapon like that that just takes out your electronics.
Well, what it is, it's EMP, electromagnetic pulse.
It happens to be a naturally occurring part of a nuclear explosion.
But when it happens with a nuclear explosion, it doesn't matter because everything's destroyed.
So the EMP as a device been isolated, and it is a weapon, and if it is deployed or employed, they can totally, an enemy can totally knock out a country's electrical grid, totally knock out everything that is digital.
Wi-Fi, computer, everything.
Lights, televisions, air conditioning, electricity can totally eliminate.
It is a really, really devastating weapon.
I don't know to what extent it's been perfected.
I don't know to what extent it's been used in in uh or designed for really targeted, surgically targeted use, like just on one airplane.
I don't know nearly enough about how it's been weaponized.
I just know about the tech and what an EMP can do and how devastating it is.
Well, 20 years ago, they were casting laser weapons.
I know this for a fact out in Palmdale, and now they're on uh naval ships.
And that particular plane was out over the ocean.
Well, an EMP could take an airplane out of the sky because it could destroy its its electronics.
Well, depending upon how much energy you throw at it, if they're just testing it, it's like a microwave.
You can put your food in the microwave, and you can make it warm, hot, or boiling.
So if you're testing a weapon, you shoot this thing, because this plane, for them to make the idea that they're in this cockpit fighting, cockpits are small.
These pilots were blind.
I think they had no way to communicate.
For them to say the terrorists were taking out the A cars and taking out the locator system, and they couldn't talk, and they didn't know one minute they're going, they're the elevation's changing, and they don't know which way they're going.
Well, look, if an EMP took down that air, we're never gonna know unless somebody comes forth and admits it and proves it.
Okay, we now have incontrovertible proof that what got all the the stuff started with me asking the American people want to watch.
In fact, the actual question was does our looks obsessed culture want to stare at an aging woman?
And this is what got it all started.
It was a let me zoom in here, folks, so you can see this.
I'm showing this to the uh subscribers at Rush Limbaugh.com via the digital camps.
I'm zooming in, and there you have it.
That was what was on Drudge, the toll of a campaign.
And that picture, Mrs. Clinton, she's very stressed, very tired, very worn out, and uh all the things that accompany that.
And later on, there was side by side picture of Mrs. Clinton having been made up with no wrinkles.
So it offered a company.
I didn't do any of that.
I just there so there's that.
Now, up next.
This is from the website, rushlimbod.com, where all of this was exposed.
That's a bigger version of the same picture.
And you can't read, that's a transcript.
That's an actual transcript of the uh program that this is this is December of 2007.
This is seven years ago.
Juan Williams and the Democrats remember every word of this.
Seven years ago, December of 2007.
So let me let me zoom out now of the uh little cam so I don't feel so big.
I'll read to you what the headline here says.
Does our looks obsessed culture want to stare at an aging woman?
And let me just review.
Now, this theory of mine, based on this drudge picture of Mrs. Clinton with the headline, the toll of a campaign.
Now, it could well be that it's a sympathy photo, too, to make people feel sorry for how tough the campaign trail is.
Now I want to preface this by saying I know it's gonna get out there.
Media matter is going to get hold of this, and they're gonna take it all out of context.
We can expect that.
Badge of honor when this happens for me, but for the rest of you, I want you to understand I'm talking about the evolution of American culture here, not so much Mrs. Clinton.
It could be anybody, and it is really not very complicated.
Americans are addicted to physical perfection, thanks to Hollywood, thanks to television.
We know it because we see it.
We see everybody and their uncle in gyms now.
We see people starving themselves.
We see people taking every miracle fad drug there is to lose weight.
We see guys trying to get six pack abs.
We have women starving themselves.
Trying to get into size zero and size one clothes, makeovers, facials, plastic surgery, everybody in the world does Botox.
This affects men too.
As you know, the haughty John Kerry, who once served in Vietnam, Botoxed his wrinkles during the campaign.
Botoxed them out.
And there is this thing in this country that as you age, particularly women hardest hit on this, and particularly in Hollywood, as you age, America loses interest in you.
And we know this is true because we constantly hear from aging actresses who lament that they can't get decent roles anymore.
Other than in supporting roles that'll not lead to any direct impact, yea or nay, at the box office.
While Hollywood box office receipts may be stagnant, none of that changes the fact that this is a country obsessed with appearance.
It is a country obsessed with looks.
The number of people in public life who appear on TV or on a big screen who are content to be who they are.
You can probably count on one hand.
And I'm one of them.
I hate makeup, even.
One of the reasons I quit my TV show.
Everybody's trying to make themselves look different.
And in that situation, in that case, they think they're making themselves look better.
It's just the way our culture has evolved.
It's the way the country is.
It's like it's almost an addiction, some people have to what I call the perfection that Hollywood presents of successful, beautiful, fun-loving people.
Question is this.
Will this country want to actually watch a woman get older before their eyes on a daily basis?
That's what it was.
You see, this is a very sympathetic treatment of the issue.
Now, Juan Williams and the boys don't remember that because they can't get past the fact I have the audacity to even bring it up.
So coupled with their all thinking it too, but they don't say it.
But you couple it with their pre-existing prejudice about me, and it must be that I am making fun of Mrs. Clinton and resorting to really horrible things to try to keep her from winning elections, blah, blah, blah.
It's just to me, it's fascinating what they remember.
They just, I mean, it always fascinates me.
All right, now back to the soundbites.
We are at the council on foreign relations yesterday in New York City.
Richard Haas, the moderator.
Hillary is all part of her book rollout.
Not going well, by the way.
It has been calculated that the amount of media Mrs. Clinton is getting in the mainstream is $50 million.
Free.
That's how much attention, TV, advertising, media attention she is getting for her book.
$50 million.
That's a calculation.
And even at that, they can't get that book to number one on Amazon.
It isn't a pleasurable experience to read a Clinton book.
And I think here, little old me.
We've got two books, the children's section of the New York Times list.
We've got two books in the top five.
With no media.
I haven't, I've been I've been on Greta Van Susterin.
I haven't done any media.
It's just you all.
It's just me on the program.
We haven't bought any advertisements.
Well, I think maybe the publisher has in some in some trade stuff.
But I don't do book signings.
I don't go on book tours.
I don't do any of that.
Never have, by the way, nothing new about it.
and there hasn't been a massive amount of media attention paid to my rush revere, the adventures of rush revere, time travel adventures with great Americans.
There hasn't been any media attention to speak of outside of what's happened on this program.
And they still can't get her to number one.
On Amazon, she'll probably open at number one on the New York Times, because that's just a given.
But I don't even think she can get number one on USA Today.
I just I find it I just all so many things here will just pierced the bubble of conventional wisdom.
Yet the bubble of conventional wisdom survives.
You know, I'm thinking about my uh my two books.
I haven't even spoken about them in two weeks.
There was the week that I was away on Vacacione, and this week, and I had we've had one call about them.
And we we heard uh on Wednesdays you get the information of what it's gonna be the next 10-day list in the New York Times, at number five, I think a number four or whatever.
Uh I just I remain in total awe and gratitude to everybody, every one of you in this audience who has bought and read the books because the feedback we continue to get on them is just phenomenal.
And you know, there's a mission to them.
There is a real purpose behind these books, the truth of American history, and they're fun, they are unique.
They use the uh the vehicle of time travel to take the reader to right to these actual historical events.
Adventure, it's not fantasy in the sense that the reality, the history is true.
It's fantasy, of course, in terms of time travel, talking horse and so forth.
But man, these kids you don't see the email work, they're loving it, and their parents love it.
And we got, I didn't mention this because we this we found out about this while we were gone.
But we have been uh I don't know, I've now not at the top of my head, but it's the the both books have been approved for a scholastic.
I'm gonna have to look it up, but it's a big deal.
It's it's mainstream public schools.
It's a big big deal.
And it's acknowledgement that the books are good, and that they're entertaining, informative, fulfilling the mission.
It's just that it's a total upper here.
But I look at seriously, not not for any reason other than comparison.
Here's Mrs. Clinton, you can't miss her everywhere, Mrs. Clinton, here, her book, 50 million dollars.
Equivalent in free advertising to her.
And plus, does she even need it?
I mean, who doesn't know who she is?
You would think that Mrs. Clinton has a built-in audience, and that all she would have to do is say, my memoirs are available, and there would be people making tracks to the bookstore to buy it in droves, and that didn't happen.
What does that tell you?
Well, in political terms, tells me quite a bit, but it's outside the conventional wisdom bubble, so it never gets set.
Back after this, don't go away.
It's open line Friday, Rush Limboy, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.
That's another thing.
We don't have any unions out buying my books in bulk, like uh like they did for Jim Fort Worthless Jim Wright, probably uh Hillary.
And uh no, the United Screeners Worker Union is not even uh buying, and and the libraries, um, they're not buying my book books.
I mean, all the usual suspect.
My point is this, and I don't I'm saying this in political context, not book sales and comparing authors.
I don't understand why Mrs. Clinton needs to do a book tour.
See, this is standard book publisher formula.
Mrs. Clinton ought to have a built-in audience, right?
If you're gonna give somebody like that, what a multi-million dollar advance, you're assuming that at least that many books are going to be sold, unless you're giving her an advance just to get her keeper wing with her publishers, you don't expect to make it back lost leader, could be that, but here's this most popular woman in America.
The smartest woman in America.
She's been Secretary of State.
She's been a senator, she's been the first lady.
Oh man, everybody loves her.
She ought to have a built-in audience.
All they have to should have to do is announce that book is for sale, and it ought to be just marching off the shelves since the first days of pre-orders.
And that isn't happening.
Now, that tells me something in a political sense.
I don't know about book sales in the business.
I don't know what the thing costs, but I think it shatters the myth that Mrs. Clinton is formidable, is unbeatable, is untouchable, is imminently popular.
You know, I I I think the book tour is actually a way for her to get her publisher to pay for the beginning of her campaign.
Because one thing about the Clintons, they don't spend their money.
They spend everybody else's money.
They brag about how rich they are after they complain about how broke they were.
So they con these publishers, and the publishers think they've got the biggest thing in the world.
You ought to see it.
They think, oh my God, Hillary Quinn's book.
They start having orgasms in the back room.
They think they've got the best book, the book of the year, they got the Pulitzer, they've got book sales, and then this happens, I guarantee you.
So then it comes down to what Les Moonvis.
Well, it's not about ratings, really.
It's not about everything.
It's about bragging rights, and that's what this is.
But then here again, we're back to a favorite subject of mine, buzz and PR versus reality.
Buzz, PR image versus substance.
And I'm just telling you, if Mrs. Clinton were everything they're saying she is, she wouldn't need a book tour.
She wouldn't need $50 million equivalent in advertising.
Sell the book.
She ought to have, after what?
Twenty three, twenty-two years of prominent public life where she's had nothing but praise and love and adoration throughout the mainstream media.
The book ought to sell itself.
Why doesn't it?
And why doesn't a $50 million campaign do it?
Well, it could be that that there's some people are, you know, what am I going to learn if I buy the book?
What am I gonna?
It could be, and this is highly likely, it could be that people are gonna say, I don't think she's really gonna tell me anything I really want to know.
National security, state secrets, so there really isn't gonna be anything in this book that's juicy.
Aren't gonna no right, no details, no uh of a stunning success if there were any.
Uh no inside information on stuff that matters.
I think I think people generally think that when uh you get a a political memoir, it's obviously gonna have been vetted and screened for security and that kind of thing.
Could be any number of things.
But even at that, she ought to have a built-in audience who'd want to buy the book just to support her.
If all the hubbub and pre-pub and buzz and PR about her is true, is my point.
Let me grab a quick call before we're out of busy broadcast time.
Uh, a couple shows ago, you asked how to stop the influx into the country of all these kids.
Well, they should just shut off all the aid because they're already giving them money, and then, you know, why should they double dip and get get it twice?
And then um, that's one thing.
But the other thing is uh they're coming in now.
He knows that the last six years have been a Charlie Fox trot, and the uh gems are probably gonna lose the Senate and the White House.
The future base of the Democratic Party is the kids.
He's diluting America with these people because they don't know the history.
They don't care.
All they want is free stuff.
And by the time uh the Democrats are back in party again, this is going to be the future.
They're just brainwashing them.
So let me see if I understand it.
You think the Democrats have pretty much convinced themselves that because of their own policies, they're going to lose the Senate.
Yes.
And we're going to keep the House.
They're going to be out of power.
So they are beginning to groom with these young DreamAt kids and the others that are on the swarming the border.
They are now grooming and brainwashing their future.
Voters and so forth.
Is that what you think?
That's what he thinks.
That's why he's saying it and trying to do it.
Like the other caller said earlier, that you know, they flood enough states, you know, it's an electoral college.
Well, you know, none of them have gotten a lot of things.
I think all that's I think all that's true, but I don't even think it scratches the surface.
What's really going on?
But I'm out of time.
Okay, brief time out here at the top of the busy broadcast hour here, my friends, and then we'll be back and resume.
More serious discussion combined with fun, frolic, and frivoly.
