Great to have you, Rush Limbaugh and the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
We are here at the distinguished Limbo Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies, the telephone number if you want to be on the program 800 282-2882.
And the email address, Lrushbow at EIBNet.com.
It was an LA Times story on Obamacare.
And these are popping up more and more.
And Obamacare fans is now I can't sleep at night.
I can't imagine this is how President Obama wanted it to happen.
No matter what problems that they've had at the website or the exchanges, you can find some Obamacare supporters who've touted the relative success of some of the state exchanges.
And one of the ones they point to has covered California as a success.
Yes.
But now people who have been able to sign up, Covered California are discovering that it's they can't.
Cancer patient doctors are refusing.
This is this is another thing, folks.
I can't tell you how many times that I hate doing, I hate see I told you so in a in a I don't want to be misunderstood with this.
It's what what really frustrates me is this need not have happened.
This tragedy, this this destruction of one of the greatest healthcare systems the world's ever need not have happened.
I know it has.
And it's still tragic.
Some doctors are not seeing cancer.
The doctors that are choosing not to be of network, in network.
This is the thing that I spend a lot of time warning people, warning people.
If even if you are able to log in, sign on, enroll, some of you are going to find out your doctors are not playing.
They don't want any part of this.
They're not going to be the network.
Some of you, your hospitals are not going to be in the network, the Obamacare network.
And in fact, the top-tier hospitals across the country are pretty much all opted out of the network.
LA Times.
After overcoming website glitches and long waits to get Obamacare, some patients are now running into frustrating new roadblocks at the doctor's office.
A month into the most sweeping changes to health care in 50 years, people are having trouble finding doctors at all.
Getting faulty information on which ones are covered, and receiving little help from insurers slumped by new business.
Experts have warned for months the logjam was inevitable, but the extent of the problems is taking people by surprise, including many patients and even doctors, as frustrations mount.
Now, I notice where I run the risk of getting into trouble, but none of this surprises me.
It was all predictable.
I can't...
This is how frustrating.
When you know that two plus two is four and the country's going to act like it's five, would that not frustrate you?
Wish I come up with a better analogy than that.
It's just it's it is outrageous.
There was no way for this to fall out any other way than how it is.
And they point that California is one of the successes.
Some patients plaintiffly say this is not what they were promised.
Aliso Viejo resident, Danielle Nelson, said that Anthem Blue Cross promised half a dozen times that her oncologists, cancer doctors, for those of you in Rio Linda, that her oncologist would be covered under her new policy.
She was diagnosed last year with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and discovered a suspicious lump near her jaw in early January.
And when she went to her oncologist's office, she encountered a bright orange sign saying that covered California plans Are not accepted there.
She went to her doctor, and her doctor isn't playing.
And she said, I'm a complete fan of the Affordable Care Act, but now I can't sleep at night.
I can't imagine this is how President Obama wanted it to happen.
I know you're gonna reject it, and you're you're gonna couple it with whatever you think you've heard about me from the media, but I'm gonna tell you right now.
President Obama didn't care.
He didn't even know you.
This is the kind of minutiae and detail that he either just assumed would magically work because it was his idea, or because there were competent people implementing it.
But no, he knew that wasn't the case because he knew his own website wasn't working.
Oh, have you heard the latest on that?
So, you know, how many times have you heard Obama bellyache and whine and moan about outsourcing?
His own healthcare.gov is in Belarus.
And that's one of the reasons why it's a security nightmare.
Not making it up.
Oh, healthcare.gov, part of it is outsourced and is run by an outfit in Belarus.
Russia, for those of you in Rio Linda.
So, Ms. Nelson, I'm just telling President Obama doesn't care.
What President Obama cares about is having the government in charge of and in control of the nation's health care system.
And what the President eventually wants is for you to only be able to solve your problem by going to somebody in government.
President Obama wants government to be looked at as a god by you or as an angel.
President Obama wants you and everybody he can convince to look at government as their only chance, as their last resort, as their first resort, as their angel, as their savior, their guardian angel, guiding light, what have you.
And if it takes a little pain along the way to get there, he doesn't mind if you get mad at your doctor, by the way.
And he doesn't mind if you get mad at your insurance company.
In fact, the madder you get at your insurance company, the faster you can get rid of that and have the government become your insurance company.
Now, folks, I realize I'm not persuading Danielle Nelson when I tell her this.
I know that I wish there was a way to do it.
But she's out there, she wants President Obama.
She's so des you, oh gosh, if Obama knew he wouldn't permit this.
He doesn't care.
He'll say he does, but this is so beneath the long-range objective here.
This is so minuscule in relevance to the long-term objective here.
That it's just one of the small prices to pay.
There are gonna be glitches along the way to getting it right.
And by the way, I expect if enough people have this problem, the president will try to find a way to blame it on the Republicans or George Bush.
I could sit here and maybe try to reach her another way.
Um I could say, well, Ms. Nelson, this is exactly how it was designed to happen because of what the real long-term object.
That's not gonna work, she's not gonna be persuaded by that.
It's a very personal issue.
This is this is what really rips me apart, folks, because these Democrats have turned all of this into the most important thing in people's lives, and they're out there playing with it as a political football and a game and a toy to be bandied about for votes.
And as a tool to expand the size, the scope, and the reach of government in people's lives.
And I'm a complete fan of the Affordable Care Act.
You shouldn't have been.
And now I can't sleep, and I can't imagine this is how President Obama wanted it to happen.
There is not a person.
Ms. Nelson, it didn't have a prayer.
Of working.
The way it's designed, the way it's implemented, and the people behind it.
It never had a prayer of working.
And the evidence is all around.
I just I just I cringe to see people used this way, their lives manipulated and toyed with.
Now this woman's got non Hodgkin's lymphoma.
She doesn't have any options.
They've been taken away from her.
She thought they were all going to be amplified better than ever.
Probably believe it Affordable Care Act was the cheaper Health Care Act.
And some of it was going to be free, but whatever, it was going to be plentiful.
I just hate what this is doing to people.
I just I hate what this ideology does.
It rips families apart.
It destroys incentive.
Founded on one lie after another.
Look at this in the Wall Street Journal.
More men in prime working ages don't have jobs.
This is five years now into the Obama regime with all of this focus on an economic recovery and jobs recovery and job creation focuses and lasers and bills and so forth.
More than one in six men, ages 25 to 54, prime working years, do not have jobs, a total of 10.4 million.
Some are looking, many aren't.
Some had jobs that went overseas or were lost to technology.
Some refused to uproot for work because they're tied down by family needs or tethered to homes that are worth less than the mortgage.
Some rely on government benefits, others depend on working spouses.
But let me get to what's buried in this article.
Buried in the article is this surveys find that most of the jobless spend their days in the same way working men spend weekends watching TV, working out, sleeping.
Economists say part of the problem is that men with few marketable skills and little education cannot find work that pays enough to get them off the couch.
Simply put, many of the available jobs don't pay enough to get men to take them, particularly if securing a job requires moving.
Long commutes, surrendering government benefits.
Oh no, I can't take that gig if it means giving up my benefit.
Translation of that, folks, they can't find work that pays them more than not working.
That's simply what that means.
They can't find work that pays them more than not working.
Jobs are being slashed at 29 and a half hours a week.
Yet the Wall Street Journal here wants us to legalize at least 11 million illegal aliens.
The Wall Street Journal is part of the open borders crowd.
Somebody tell me why does this make sense?
Here we're going to do a story about all of these men.
2554 can't find work because they can't find a job that pays them more than they can earn not working.
And yet there are jobs Americans won't do.
And we need to open the borders.
And we need people out of the shadows.
I mean, we're right in the middle of a beyond the middle of a direct daily onslaught.
Gotta take a break.
Come back and get some of your phone calls in to start.
Sit tight, folks.
Don't go away.
No, here's the thing about Danielle Nelson.
She says, I'm I'm a complete fan of the Affordable Care Act, but now I can't sleep at night.
I can't imagine this is how President Obama wanted it to happen.
So I just I feel sad for her.
Because I think that's a sad way of thinking.
Oh, if only Obama knew he would fix everything.
It's like when it's discovered that somebody in Obama's cabinet, a communist sympathy, man, how'd that get past Obama?
What do you mean how to get past Obama?
It didn't.
If only Obama knew he would fix everything.
This is the way citizens of third world banana republic uh republics think about their strongman dictators.
Oh, if they would just care, if they just knew, I'm sure they didn't mean that sure they intended this not to happen.
But I if if the reality of of being turned down for treatment of cancer, folks, stop and think of this.
If the reality of being turned down for treatment for cancer can't convince her.
How can anyone?
What could anyone say?
So she's not blaming Obama.
He he'd fix it if he knew.
So somebody in her mind sabotaging her health care.
Not him.
Maybe her doctors don't want to give their services away.
I don't know.
Maybe, maybe the doctors want to charge too much.
Maybe maybe Obama knows the doctors aren't any good.
Who knows what she'll come up with to explain this.
To me, it's just said, now for the Belarus connection.
It's from the Washington exam.
Bill Gertz, Mr. Snergley, Bill Gertz, the great Pentagon reporter for the Washington Times way, way back, has uncovered this.
The Belarusian connection.
The U.S. Affordable Care Act software for healthcare.gov was written in part in Belarus.
My software developers under state control.
And that makes the software a potential target for cyber attacks.
Belarus is from a president who keeps whining and moaning about, "Well, I'll tell you what, we're going to stop these tax breaks for people outsourcing these jobs.
We're going to start resourcing.
We're going to start insourcing.
We're going to get a tax break for people who keep jobs in America." His own health care plan.
Software written in part by software developers under the control of Belarusian government.
Cybersecurity officials said that the potential threat to the U.S. health care data is compounded by what they said was an internet data hijacking last year involving Belarusian state-controlled networks.
The month-long diversion covertly rerouted massive amounts of U.S. internet traffic to Belarus, which, by the way, it's a repressive dictatorship located between Russia, Poland, and the Ukraine.
Officials disclosed the software compromise last week after the discovery in early January of statements by Belarusian official Valery Chapako, director of the government-backed high technology park in Minsk.
Sapolko told a Russian radio station an interview broadcast last summer that That uh Health and Human Services, U.S. government, one of our clients.
We are helping Obama complete his insurance reform.
The Belarus.
State government helping Obama complete his insurance reform.
Okay, people are going nuts here.
I keep getting emails and Cookie has sent me a sound bite.
Because I keep mentioning amnesty today.
As I can't believe it.
I mean, here we now we've got the lesson of Obamacare, and yet what are we doing rather than ratcheting this up and trying to make connection with the American people to stop this, still roll it back, do and not compound any further errors, say with Amnesty.
Rush, rush, rush.
Bahner has said that there won't be any this year.
Okay.
All right, fine.
Well, so we got the soundbite here.
It's quick, thirteen seconds.
Capitol Hill today, and a uh weekly press briefing, the speaker of the house, John Boehner.
Listen, there's widespread doubt about whether this administration can be trusted to enforce our laws.
And it's going to be difficult to move any immigration legislation until that changes.
So there you have it.
The Speaker of the House, John Boehner has said that there is widespread doubt about whether this administration can be trusted to enforce the law.
Now that's actually it is kind of helpful.
He's saying, what does it matter what we pass here?
You hear Sheila Jackson Lee?
Do you hear what she said?
Sheila Jackson Lee said it is now Congress's job to write executive orders Obama can sign.
She said it.
No!
No!
She said Baylor's real.
Sheila Jackson Lee said it.
To the phones we go.
People have been patiently waiting, and we're gonna start with Tom in Spring, Texas.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Hello, sir.
Good afternoon to you, sir.
It's an honor and quite a privilege to talk with you today.
Appreciate you being here.
Thank you very much for that.
Um everybody should realize when the CBO makes an estimate, they're gonna be wrong, generally most of the time.
So if they're saying it's only two and a half million jobs to be lost, you can almost guarantee it's gonna be significantly higher than that.
Well, let me tell you why that's true.
And and with with all uh due deference to the CBO, they are limited by law for projecting ten years out.
That's why the first 10-year projection came in the way it did.
They were just given, they can only analyze the data they're given.
They're called bipartisan, but if you got a bunch of cheats and frauds giving them incorrect data, you're gonna come out with goblet it gook.
And that's what happened.
We got a lie.
We got health care gonna cost less than a trillion dollars.
We got premiums coming down, more people covered, all of it was a lie.
So now the 10-year period covers four years of implementation now, and we've added additional four years to the original ten, and that's where they're saying two and a half million jobs lost.
If you go another five years after that, using just the data now, you're right.
The two and a half million jobs lost is gonna be even more.
That's even more people liberated from the responsibility of working.
And if and when this happens, the people dropping out of the workforce, being pushed to part-time work, uh, or leaving the workforce, that's gonna increase the premiums to the people, and that's gonna increase the cost to the government.
So this is just another way to accelerate the economic collapse, and then it goes to intent.
And the intent all along, as you so eloquently put it, is what we're seeing happen.
Because if this wasn't the intent, they would make a change.
But not only will Obama not.
That is the key right there.
Folks, if you if you you know, you can be charitable, say, okay, gross incompetence, people, good intentions, but didn't know what they were doing and too embarrassed to admit it, and so they're trying to make the best of it.
Or it was intentional.
Either way, there's enough data, and not just on health care, but on every other economic policy.
There's five years of data now.
It isn't working.
If they really wanted it to work the way the poor woman in the LA Times wants it to work, they would change it.
They would make the changes necessary to make it work.
Now, what are those changes?
Those changes would be admitting that they're wrong.
And that is never going to happen because they aren't wrong.
Because the sad fact is this is the intent.
You can't get around it.
There's enough years now, like you say, if this isn't the attempt, intent, change it.
Fix it.
Get it back on the right track.
No effort whatsoever to do so.
And not only that, but Obama has said, if you won't work with me, I'm going to use the executive order to move forward on my agenda.
Exactly right.
And not only that, rather than admit it's not, you know what?
They're continuing to try to sell it.
They are bribing, I've got the story here.
I put it in the middle of the stack.
The way they are getting millennials to sign up, I'll give you the short version of this.
They are 18 to 39-year-olds, they're 1834s.
They are bribing some to sign up other.
They're paying millennials if they succeed in registering new enrollees.
We have also found out.
Remember uh, ladies and gentlemen, when we learned that the National Football League was going to be helping the regime.
It turns out that the Obama administration sat down and wrote some bulk boilerplate tweets and Facebook posts and sent those to the NFL Players Association, a union, and the union just assigned them to random players.
The players themselves did not write those uh pitches.
They didn't write those tweets or messages.
They didn't write the salesmanship.
They just had their names attached to it.
So rather than take any step to fix it, they are continuing to try to sell it.
That's what Obama's constant campaigning is about.
They're trying to sell this.
In other words, this poor woman, as identified with the LA Times.
They are to hang in there, hang in there.
It's gonna work.
We're on the case, we're gonna fix it.
It is fraud at the base minimum, what's happening here.
Um but it's all permitted in politics.
It's hard to prove fraud and politics, although you indict the whole the whole industry.
But you're gonna have two things here.
You have 2.3 million fewer people pulling the wagon, 2.3 million more people riding in the wagon.
2.3 million fewer full-time workers will mean that uh much lower taxes to pay for these and other government benefits.
Well, that remains a question.
The question remains, are the American people gonna swallow it?
Are they I don't think they are.
I think the polling data clearly indicates that they aren't, but I don't know what they can do about it.
Or better stated, I don't know what they think they can do about it, other than find a way to not participate in it for themselves.
This is good, it's gonna be a free-for-all, you know, everybody for himself, which uh in normal circumstances would not be a bad thing, but it it's it's just that it's it's such a tragic thing.
It just it just didn't have to happen.
And this is folks, this is not like a you know, lamenting the fact that Denver lost the Super Bowl.
Oh, it just didn't have to happen.
Why if Denver This is a whole different thing.
This is the result.
This what we are in this circumstance because a giant fraud has been perpetrated on the American people.
And by the by the political class of the of the country.
I just and what it's doing to people and and their lives and their take away the desire, necessity to work.
You are you're effectively dehumanizing people.
You are taking away from many people one of the primary sources of their confidence, self-identity, reason for being, uh, particularly in men, but in in more and more women now, with feminism and so forth making its giant strides.
It's just a tragic thing here that's happening, and it's turning more and more people into satisfied wards of the state.
And when you have organizations like the New York Times come along and say, oh, hey, these two and a half million people, there's nothing wrong here.
They have been liberated from the choice of having to be in a job, they only had to have health care benefits.
Now, because of the brilliance of Obama, they've got their benefits, but they don't have to be locked in a job they hate.
I take a break.
Sit tight, my friends.
We have, as you can imagine, much more straight ahead.
As usual, half my brain tied behind my back, just to make it fair, here is Richard in Everett, Massachusetts.
Hi, Richard, great that you waited.
Hello.
Thank you.
Hello, hello, uh, mr. Mr. Imbach.
It's a pleasure.
It's a pleasure to speak with you.
Thank you, sir.
Uh and I'll be honest with you, I'm fed up, and I think I was a Democrat most of my life, and I turned independent about 20 years ago, but I vote Republican.
Um, because I like I don't like the way the country was going with the Democrats.
What I'm really upset about is our leadership, Republican leadership like Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, Lucy Graham, and John McCain talk a good story, but don't stand up to this dictator.
Really?
Uh when when when have they been talking a good story?
When would it I I don't think they f they stand up to him, sir.
I don't think they stand up to him.
I mean, he does what he wants to do the way he wants to do it, and you mean to tell me that they can't stop him from doing what he wants, like going around Congress and not not being able to do anything about it.
Let me ask you this.
What makes you think they want to stop him?
I don't think they want to stop it.
Why do you think that?
Because they're all in cahoots, as far as I'm concerned.
I think I just think the I think they've been seven years so long.
Uh I hate to say it, but I think just go ahead and say it.
We got a delay button here.
Let loose.
I think they're corrupt.
I think they're corrupt, and I think they're all in all of it together, and I'm fed up with them all, sir.
Uh I love my country, and I don't like it where I like to see where it's going.
And these people that we put in there are not doing their jobs.
And you know uh we have so many uninformed or uninterested people in this country, they don't give a damn, and I'm fed up with them too.
And uh I just think the mainstream media has it uh older.
Most of our what our party stands for.
They they get the word out.
So I think our side should be putting the word out as hard as they can.
Fight back.
I mean, man, they're just sitting around and they tell people this, they tell people that, but things get passed, and then we're in a hole.
I've been there for half the troubles we're having right now.
The Republican base.
The leadership.
We put them there for a reason, but they're not doing anything.
Well, I'm tired of it, sir.
Uh, uh a lot of people are.
Um to a lot of people, this doesn't make sense.
Uh and a lot of people like you think they're all a cahoots.
They're all part of the same political class.
They are of Washington, and they are all invested in being stewards Of a big government.
And they are all stewards of an engaged government.
You know, this is the thing.
You've got you've got the Republican leadership.
You've got several conservative media big Whigs who have convinced themselves that the American people, and this is one of the arguments that's held that that takes place inside conservative media and the Republican Party.
There are some conservative media types who believe that the argument, the debate over big government's over.
We've lost it.
That the American people want it.
And we are never going to win elections until we realize that.
If we keep fighting that, we're going to always lose.
At some point, we're just going to have to understand the people of this country get what they want, and they want big government and they want government benefits.
But what they also want is a responsibly run big government.
And that is where these people claim they should be elected and put in power over Democrats, because they will do it smarter, and they will administer an active executive branch, an engaged executive branch,
with a much greater sense of responsibility, both fiscal and moral, and that they will be much better equipped to uh to to govern this country with this massive government that people want.
So that's what you're up against that argument that takes place inside the uh the Republican Party and certain elements of conservative media.
Whereas, you know, I can I can hear it in your voice, Richard.
You believe in limited government, like country was founded.
You believe in small, limited, out of the way.
You know, you want the government to be like officials in the NFL, never the story.
Game's over, you don't even know what they did.
That's how you want government to be.
You don't you don't want the government calling flags to get involved in everybody's life at every stretch of every play, determining the outcome, reversing it for whatever nefarious reason, because they don't like it, just we don't even want to see you.
But that's not how the people alive today that want to work in government want it as big as it can get.
They want it as powerful, because that means they are.
That gives them all this money to use, to buy influence or to wield power with.
There really are precious, few, genuine conservatives to be found in Washington, D.C. right now.
Even in the Republican Party.
I ran across something that I want to share with you.
I get to it in the next hour.
It was uh apparently a program on C-SPAN back on February or January 4th.
I read about this at uh newsbusters.
Comedian Evan Sayet.
Liberals think it's an act of bigotry to be an objective reporter.
And this guy's a conservative comedian and lecturer, Evan Sayed, and he was uh on C-SPAN a few weeks ago.
He's got a book called Kinder Garden of Eden, How the Modern Liberal Thinks.
I find it fascinating because I am devoted to not just understanding how the modern liberal thinks, but then to explain it to other people who are non-ideological.
Because you know me, I believe the more people can be instructed, educated, informed, what have you, influenced to see the ideological makeup of people, the faster we're going to secure the minority status of liberalism.
Until that happens, we're not.
Because they own the compassion industry, the big heart industry.
Uh they they own the diversity industry.
It's all Fraudulent.
In fact, they care more than anybody else.
Look at the war on women.
Who is being hurt by who?
Well, there's a story somebody.
My mind isn't coming together quickly because I'm under time constraint here.
But they claim we're conducting a war on women.
Women are hurting and really suffering because of liberalism.
And they've got blacks, every minority.
They've they've victimized every group of people they can.
Then they blame either the country or Republicans for it.
And they own it, they've got the media so they they own the compassion, they own the caring.
They own the big heart belief.
Until something comes along to convince people that's a fraud.
The only way to convince them is ideology, I believe.
And so that fascinated me by this guy's little lecture.
Not little lecture.
I will share with you the details of that in the segment.
Uh we get back the top of the hour monologue.
And I've got still lots to do before we get out of here today.
So you don't want to miss any of it.
Sit tight, we'll be right back.
Okay, my friends, the fastest three hours in media.
I can't believe that two of them are I can't believe it's already Thursday.
