You gotta be kidding me.
Sibelius has asked the inspector general to investigate the Obamacare website.
You have got to be kidding me.
They told us it was fixed.
Oh, now that it's fixed, she wants an investigation to find out what went wrong.
So that it'll never happen again.
We know what went wrong.
There's nobody involved that knows what they're doing.
That's just incredible.
I I this is just let them let them keep doing it.
Let them just keep making fools of themselves because right now everybody's paying attention to what these people are saying and doing.
And they do not know that they're under the microscope.
Now they think that they're getting away with all the stuff, the rhetoric and everything they always get away with, but they're not right now.
So now we're gonna, now that the website's fixed, which it isn't, now we're gonna dig deep to find out what went wrong, so that it never ever happens again when the next thing we decide to redistribute is going to take $600 billion to do.
These people, you know, that is the question.
What is our government doing to us?
What is happening to our country?
You realize how many people are asking that question, and if they were only regular listeners here, they would have known five years ago.
But we can't cry over spilt milk like that.
People are just now coming to grips, starting to become aware of this.
But it's happened before, and they forget it, and they fall prey to the same seductiveness of government compassion that they always fall for, or Santa Claus, regardless.
So it's an ever-ending battle.
It never ever is won.
It's you know what it's like.
The battle against liberalism is like the battle against crime.
You're never gonna win it.
It's one of the reasons I admire people in law enforcement.
They know they're never gonna win.
They're never gonna wipe out crime.
There isn't a police force, a commissioner of police anywhere that thinks they're ever going to wipe out crime.
And we're never gonna wipe out liberalism.
But you have to keep fighting it to limit the damage and occasionally beat it now and then.
And that's what's missing right now of the Republican Party.
Anyway, greetings, folks, and welcome back.
Great to have you, Rush Limboy, and the second hour of the Excellence and Broadcasting Network.
The telephone number, if you want to be on the program, is 800-282-2882, the email address L Rushpo at EIBNet.com.
John Podesta, again, has been brought in by Obama to fix this mess, the mess being Obama's plummeting approval numbers.
Now, there is nothing that Podesta can do to repair the damage that's been done in terms of Obama's honesty, the perception of his trustworthiness, and that there's nothing he can do.
So, what do liberals do in this case?
Now, there's there's a there's a truism, folks, that gosh, I wish everybody understood this.
Liberalism is, no matter what you think, still the minority viewpoint in this country.
Among informed people, it is the minority viewpoint.
There are a lot of people that vote Democrat and support liberty, have no idea what they're doing.
It's all personal to them.
It's just goodies and Santa Claus and compassion and free birth control over here or whatever.
They're not ideological.
That's why I've always said ideology is the key to solving this.
Anyway, it's a never-ending lament of mine, too.
But liberalism must always govern against the will of the people.
And the evidence for this is very simple.
The proof, liberals cannot win national elections being honest about their agenda.
They just can't.
They might be able to win in San Francisco or Boston or New York, but nationwide they cannot do it.
And there has never been a Democrat or liberal Presidential candidate who has been honest in a campaign about his agenda.
They all lie about it.
And they all make themselves sound uh either centrist or even right wing at times.
And they all try to make everybody think that they believe in traditional American values, other than you know, they've got their pet things, abortion and this kind of thing.
But in terms of hard work and perseverance and uh doing the right thing, playing by the rules, uh winning big, earning a lot of whatever.
They preach belief in that, which they don't believe it, but they preach it.
And they get into office, and that's when they start doing what they never promised to do, or they never even gave any indication.
So now what's gonna happen?
Why is Podesta really there?
Okay, Obama has now lost his trustworthy.
He has lost any hope of majority support for the American people for his agenda.
Obamacare has wiped that out.
He really has.
So you bring in Podesta to deal with that.
And how do you deal with that?
You base you basically well, you attack Republicans, but you basically say to hell with the will of the will of the American people.
And you just do what you're gonna do despite the Constitution, despite the law, you just do it.
To hell with popular support for it.
Be nice if you had it, but now that you don't, still not gonna derail the agenda.
So you bring in a capo de copi de Titi.
Or whatever the bring again you bring in the conciliary, you bring in the muscle.
And even the politico has figured this out.
John Podesta hire signals a more aggressive whiteout, more aggressive White House?
How the hell can it be more aggressive?
The Constitution's already in tatters from the article.
The Podesta move also signals a more aggressive focus for the White House on using executive authority to circumvent Congress in the final three years of the regime.
Now that they're being honest about least the the political is the hell with the will of the people and the hell with the Constitution and the hell with the separation of powers and the hell with Congress.
Okay, we got three years left, and here's what we're gonna do.
We basically have got a year or two, if they that's why they so desperately want to win the House next year, because it would give them three full years instead of two to proceed unimpeded.
Podesta has been urging Obama for three years to use the full extent of his authority as president to go around Congress.
Podesta co-authored a 2010 report on executive powers, saying that they present a real opportunity for the regime to turn its focus away from a divided Congress and the unappetizing process of making legislation.
Hell with that.
Podesta will focus in particular on leveraging the president's executive powers.
So that's what he's been brought in to do.
Podesta has been brought in as a third party to assume the face of violation of the Constitution, so that it's not Obama's face on that.
And that's what Podesta's in there to do.
And Podesta will also slime the Republicans in the process because that is his level of expertise.
And he'll accept funding from George Soros in the process.
Slime their opposition, discredit the opposition, and continue to pray Obama, portray Obama as a victim.
Now, last night on the CNN's situation room, Wolf Blitzer spoke with the chief political analyst at CNN, the one and only Gloria Borger.
And Wolf was asking her about Podesta being hired.
And Wolf said to her, uh Podesta is obviously a talented political guy, knows a lot of the policy stuff, Gloria.
What does he bring that the president needs?
Now listen to this.
He can help Dennis McDonough kind of figure out the flow of information and what should get to the president and what shouldn't get to the president.
One of the questions we've been asking over these last months is why didn't the president know on a variety of issues, right?
And so the question why didn't he know about the website?
Why didn't he know about the IRS scandal?
I think that John Podesta is a hand who can say, look, this needs to get to the president, and we need to let him in on some of the secrets we've been keeping from him.
This is unbelievable.
This is journalistic malpractice.
This woman is actually trying to per further the idea that Obama didn't know about any of these things.
Why?
Is it because he's so smart that all of this is so mundane and so unchallenging and so beneath him that he can't be bothered with it?
But now Podesta is going to teach the chief of staff how to inform the president of things.
So Obama, despite all the White House meetings with the IRS people, he didn't know the IRS was uh discriminating or targeting the Tea Party.
He didn't know that for three years the website was a mess.
He didn't know any of the he didn't know.
He he just didn't know, and that's because the White House was keeping secrets from the president.
These chiefs of staff, they were keeping secrets.
But Podesta, he knows how to make sure the chief of staff tells Liberty.
So you gotta bring in some hack who's an expert on informing the president about what's going on.
You have to who how how foolish do they think we are at CNN?
You really think that we're this dumb to accept the idea that this guy's been hired because only he knows how to tell somebody how to tell the president something?
This is an insult to everybody's intelligence.
First, Gloria Borger.
You don't really believe Obama didn't know of this stuff, do you?
She might, folks.
I mean, they've th th this press corps, I'm telling you, they're just partisan Democrat hacked script writer for the soap opera.
That this is just unbelievable.
This is hilarious.
You know, you know, Wolf, one of the questions we've been asking over the last month, why didn't the president know on a variety of things?
And so the question, why didn't he know about the website?
Why didn't he know about the IRS scandal?
Podesta is a guy who can say, look, this needs to get to the president.
As though everybody else working for the president is too dumb to know what Obama needs to be told.
Now finally we got a guy smart enough because he's worked with Clinton.
Podesta knows what the president needs to be told.
And that's why he's been hired.
And that's the biggest crock.
He has been hired to make end runs around the Constitution in Obama's name.
Or actually not in Obama's name.
That's the key to it.
I don't know.
For some reason that just really irritates me.
That is such an insult to our intelligence.
That's worse than most of the stuff that these people in the drive-by's do.
Well, the president didn't know many of this.
He needed to get somebody who knows how to tell the president and decide what the president needs to know.
How on the one hand can you people claim this guy so smart, so brilliant, so hands-on?
I mean, this is the guy who is gonna save the world, create utopia.
He's the most ignorant president we've ever had, apparently.
He doesn't know diddly squat about anything.
By these people's own admission, do I sound peeved about this because I really am?
I just one thing.
I hate condescending arrogance.
That just really rubs me raw.
And having my intelligence insulted like this, that's a close second.
Idea that Obama didn't know.
Who do you people think you are?
Passing off this, this is Let me change gears.
How many of you watch Downton Abbey?
Doesn't matter if you do or not, but I've got a soundbite here from uh very popular actor on that series, Mr. Jim Carter, who plays the role of the butler, Mr. Cassen.
You watch Downton Abbey?
you uh still watch it uh you've never seen it.
What?
Not enough blood and guts and immorality for you.
Well, it's I just finished watching the season that you all will start watching in January.
Because I get access to the BBC files.
So I've I've I've seen the upcoming season, Downton Abbey, and it's a good one.
It's better than last season.
It's really a good season.
But anyway, this actor that plays the butler, Mr. Carson, did an ad for Greenpeace UK.
UK Greenpeace website.
And this is also outrageous.
It is an ad aimed at children.
These people, the way they corrupt everybody, but the I mean, they they claim to hold children so dear.
What they really do is just destroy them.
They destroyed their dreams, they lie to them, they use them, they scare them, they panicked them.
Listen to this.
This is Jim Carter as Santa Claus on the Greenpeace UK website.
Dear children, regrettably.
I bring bad tidings for some time now.
Melting ice here.
The North Pole has made our operations in our day-to-day life.
Intolable and impossible.
And there may be no alternative but to counsel Christmas.
Cancel Christmas.
The UK website, a Downton Abbey character, as Santa Claus lying.
There's more ice at the North and South Pole than there's been in a long time.
And Arctic temperatures hit a record low this week.
Minus 135 degrees.
The ice is not melting at the North Pole.
Santa Claus and the Elves are not floating away.
It isn't melting, and Christmas isn't gonna be canceled.
But that's not stopping these people using toying with frightening and scaring kids, and this actor goes along with it.
And they claim that they're the ones who really care about the children.
This stuff, I'm gonna tell you that.
I started this program today.
I was all filled with yucks and jocularity, and this stuff is really ticking me off about now.
Back to the phone, Swico.
Here's uh here's Vicky, Brookville, Kentucky.
Hi, Vicky, great to have you on the program.
Hello.
Hello, Mr. Mayor of Real Realville and the King of Truth.
Merry Christmas.
King of truth.
I like that.
Thank you.
Very much.
Same to you.
Thank you.
I was calling in regard to uh your asking if uh Michelle Obama uh really said anything to her.
Well, you know, I've always wondered that not just about these two, but I've I've wondered about every president.
Um, he's president.
I mean, that's got to be a stressful job.
But he's also married, means he has a wife.
Exactly.
And I've I've asked myself, do do wives of husbands who are pre leave them alone, not give them any grief like they would normally do in a normal ebb and flow of a marriage, or do they just or is it no different than the other marriage and guy screws up and hears about it?
Doesn't matter how mad he's distracted from his job, doesn't matter what else he's gotta do.
He's gonna hear about I just I've I've never known, I've never asked any of them, never thought I'd get the truth.
So all I can do is speculate.
Yep.
I took a look at the pictures yesterday, as soon as they were shown on TV, and the first thought I had, the first one was the selfie, and Michelle Obama was looking in the opposite direction.
That to me said that she was embarrassed by what they were doing.
No, it wasn't.
But wait, but wait, but wait, Vicky.
Yes.
The photographer who took the picture of Obama taking the selfie has written this big long piece saying I was there and she wasn't upset at all.
And I'm embarrassed that you people are saying so.
Right, right.
Well, I'm gonna tell you for a woman, it is she was embarrassed and looked the other way.
The one where he Well, I don't care about embarrassed, was she mad?
Was she personally?
She was she was uh more embarrassed and mad at that because it was a selfie.
It looked, I mean, it was it was utterly stupid in it and ignorant for the president of the United States and the Prime Minister of England and this this whoever prime minister of of Dutch land or Denmark, Denmark, Denmark.
Oh, pardon me, Denmark.
To take a selfie was just juvenile, and she looked at face was.
I mean, they look like they're these people do not know how to do funerals.
I'm convinced that socialists and Marxists do not know how to do funerals or memorials.
Oh my god, no.
If you remember uh uh Clinton at uh what's his face's funeral, was laughing his butt off until he saw the camera and then started at the Ron Brown memorial.
That's right.
We made that one famous.
Clinton walking along with Tony What's Campolo.
He's laughing himself silly, walking into the church, sees a camera and starts crying within one half of a step.
And we're back having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.
Rush Limbaugh, the E.I.B. network.
Look, we've been dissing the uh the babe from uh from Denmark.
Her name is Heli Thorning Schmidt.
She deserves a name.
So I mean she's a prime minister out there.
I'm sure Michelle probably calls her what the helly.
You know this photographer who snapped the picture of Obama taking the selfie with David Cameron and the Dane dame, uh Helly Thorning Schmidt.
He wrote it, he did.
He wrote this big long apologia.
He's all worried now that people are misunderstanding what happened.
Now listen to this.
The photographer wrote the following.
At the time, I thought the world leaders were simply acting like human beings, like me and you.
I doubt anyone could have remained totally stony faced for the duration of that ceremony, while tens of thousands of people were celebrating in the stadium.
For me, the behavior of these leaders in snapping a selfie seems perfectly natural.
I see nothing to complain about, and probably would have done the same in their place.
So they're just like you and me.
And that's exactly what we would have been doing.
So according to this loco weed, there's no reason to have higher expectations of our leaders.
There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to hold them in high esteem.
Why they're no different than we would be.
Except if we were there, we'd be a bunch of nobodies.
Don't forget who Barack Obama is.
They have they have created this myth that he has trod the same ground as Mandela.
The Obama White House and the media have created this mythological story that Obama has lived the hardships of Mandela, and that he is experiencing The same kind of mistreatment, misjudgment, discrimination, all the jail time, all of the beatings and whatever else Mandela got, Obama has done the same.
And now Obama receiving the past torch from Nelson Mandela is at the memorial service taking a selfie with the Danish dame, Heli Thorning Schmidt and David Cameron.
Now, if George W. Bush had done this with the Danish babe, do you think that the picture, the guy who wrote that took the picture, would have written, well, what's the big deal?
Why?
It's just the same thing we would be doing.
Would this idiot photographer had forgiven George W. Bush?
The fact of the matter is George Bush was there and didn't do anything like this.
The fact of the matter was George Bush was there and sat right next to his wife the whole time.
George W. Bush was there and did not make a spectacle of himself.
George W. Bush was there and did not try to make the event about himself.
And they tell us that George W. Bush is the idiot and the embarrassment.
When Obama acts like a juvenile and a little child who's gotten out of school early.
Well, that's no different than you and me.
I'm sorry I took the picture.
I'm sorry, people have misunderstood.
I just can't believe people are doing this.
And Michelle wasn't mad.
I saw her.
I was watching the whole time.
I took the picture.
Michelle wasn't mad.
hell you say.
I have been, I've had enough women angry at me that I know the look.
We all have, right, guys.
We know that look.
We we damn well know that look.
We know that countenance.
We know that to that attitude.
We know it.
Somebody wants to try to tell us that Michelle was cool with that and didn't have any problem with it.
Don't.
You know, this is a day where we're having our intelligence assaulted no matter where we turn.
All right, back to the phones.
Back to the and by the way, how about this?
How about this fake?
The guy that was up there doing sign language for the deaf.
I mean, this is this is this guy's up there totally faking it.
Totally.
He's making gestures that mean nothing in the world of sign language.
What kind of diss is that?
Who hired this guy?
And before we leave all of this to the historians, we have to note that the interpreter for the deaf that they hired appears to be a complete fraud.
Although we got to cut this guy some slack because maybe nobody who was speaking was actually saying anything.
And so the guy doing the sign language had nothing to report.
I mean, it was a bunch of hot air up there.
These people on the, they don't know how to do this anymore.
They turn all of this, every one of them, they turn the event inside out, make it about them.
Like Obama shook Raul Crash Castro.
That's the big new.
Oh, speaking of which, speaking of which, let me find the soundbite.
Could I did I see it at number 17?
Did I see it at number 18?
Did I see it at number 19?
I don't know where I saw it.
It's here, but I don't.
Ah, grab number 18.
Here's number 18.
Do you remember little Elion Gonzalez?
You remember Gonzalez?
He was living down there with uh Morris Lacius.
That's how that wasn't her name.
That's how Gloria Estefan pronounced it.
Maris Lacius.
She's living down there in the house.
Mars Latius is the uh the aunt of the of Eli Gonzalez.
And they're trying to keep the kid.
The kid's father is in Cuba.
His mother died on the way to America.
Alian made it.
And the argument was, well, hell, his mother brought him here.
She should he should stay here.
And he had family here and they're trying to keep her.
And Janet El Reno flew down there from Washington with muscle from the AFT, stormed the house, took little Elian Gonzalez and gave him to his father Juan Gonzalez.
Juan Gonzalez had been flown in from Cuba, the father.
Juan Gonzalez took Elion Gonzalez home.
Fidel Castro called a press conference and talked about, I'll never forget this.
In praising the father, Juan Gonzalez.
He said he's a good worker.
I said, is that not perfect?
This is how a Marxist leader looks at a citizen.
He's a good worker.
He's a good is this a peon.
He's a good work.
So anyway, he took Elion Gonzalez home.
And we knew it.
We called it back then.
They're going to turn this kid into an agent of propaganda.
And by the time this little kid in five years, he's going to be out there ripping America.
And lo and behold, the time has come.
Little Elion Gonzalez is now blaming America for Cuba's problems.
On the day after Barack Hussein Obama shakes the hand of Raul Castro.
Here comes Elion Gonzalez, who is now, how old will he be?
I forget the year.
Is this his 20s now, maybe?
Here's the reports yesterday afternoon CNN's newsroom.
The senior Latin American affairs correspondent, Rafael Romo, uh reporting uh about an interview that an unidentified CNN reporter conducted with Elion Gonzalez.
Here is the report.
We wanted to know if he was affected psychologically, uh, had any long-lasting effects uh uh after the ordeal that he lived in Florida, and this is what he told us.
No Denio Well on the segue.
I haven't had any long-lasting psychological trauma.
Oh, no, it hasn't affected me.
But it has been hard on my family because those were difficult moments.
But in spite of everything, I'm in Cuba, and that's great.
Because it has been 15 wonderful years in which I have experienced great growth without precedence as a Cuban revolutionary youth, espousing the cause of the Cuban Revolution.
The Cuban revolution?
What an absolute j Cuban revolution.
There he is.
Uh uh Elion Gonzalez just turned 20, just turned his now, and he's a proud uh proud agent, and he's uh espousing the cause of the Cuban Revolution,
and then there was a there was a question from uh one of the reporters at uh at sea, and it was Brooke Baldwin, who the info babe the anchor, Yanka Rett, and she was talking with the correspondent Rafael Romo about the interview the unidentified guy did with Elion Gonzalez.
And after this bite, then Brooke Baldwin said, before you go, just with Raul Castro on the brain because of the handshake with President Obama.
What about his brother Fidel Castro?
Did this reporter ask Elion Gonzalez how he feels about Fidel?
Now, only a CNN reporter would care about that.
What did Elion say about Fidel?
What can Elion Gonzalez tell us about Fidel?
To help with what he thinks about the revolution.
What does he think about Fidel?
Interesting, you asked, because just before he traveled to Ecuador, he was interviewed by a Cuban newspaper who asked him specifically how does he feel about Fidel Castro?
And this is exactly what he said.
Listen to this, Brooke.
He said, Fidel Castro for me is like a father.
I don't profess to have any religion, but if I did, my God would be Fidel Castro.
There's really no need, Brooke, to say much more than that to learn how he truly feels about Fidel Castro.
With a gun pointed to his head, do you people not understand this?
How it's not fair.
I just had something said to me that's hilarious that that you can't hear.
How do you hire a fake sign language interpreter and translator?
How do you do I don't time crunch?
But this guy was totally making it up.
They've they've got experts in there that have analyzed it.
In the uh in in uh I guess what being called a South African language.
Well, what language do they speak?
Afrikaans?
I don't have any idea how long the guy was there, the the sign language guy.
It was a four-hour event.
Um I but how do you go get somebody totally faking?
And then once you discover he's faking it, you leave him there.
I don't know.
I just a so much of this.
It just dubious.
Anyway, Mauricio in uh Auburn, Kansas.
It's great to have you on the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Hey, thank you right for taking my call.
You bet.
Great to have you here.
Uh Merry Christmas.
And uh Biva Christopher.
Um I listened to uh the Catholic channel, EWTN, I uh as often as I can.
I listen to Mass.
I like to go to Mass that way every day.
And uh today's Omni, today's homily, uh father mentioned uh we know perfectly that he was talking about about you, given the email that I have received and everything, uh they said yes, he was talking about Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, whoa, ho ho ho hold on here just a second.
Sure.
You were watching the Catholic TV channel, EWTN, and the priest that was doing the homily mention me.
Not by name.
He then mentioned you by Well, then how do you know he was talking about me?
Oh, because all the comments that he made uh were perfectly uh uh about your comments about the Holy Father, uh about you mentioning that the Holy Father had a Marxism uh or mark Marxist approach to uh to poverty and uh and he mentioned You know, that wasn't even my interpretation.
I was looking I wish I had the original thing I was reading from.
It was somebody else's interpretation.
I would not have thought to call it Marxist, I would have called it social.
Somebody else called it Marxist.
Um but but but that's neither here nor there.
He was he was saying that the word capitalism capitalism was not even found in the in the document of the Holy Father, and he was quoting directly from the document, basically.
And uh he mentioned that four times Wait a minute.
Yeah your priest said that in the papal document the word capitalism wasn't even mentioned.
That's right.
That's right.
Yes.
And and they're telling me I'm wrong.
Yes.
Yes, he said that instead what what he mentioned four times.
Did they also did the did the did the priest also say that the holy father did not criticize trickle down?
Well, what he says is that uh he mentioned Umbra.
Why was this guy even referencing who you think is me in his homily?
Why did why why was he even do what was his point?
Oh, his point was uh was he was urging us not to not to go not to relay on comments about the Holy Father's document, but to go directly to the Father's uh okay.
Saying he was saying, No, don't pay any attention to those people who make comments that the Holy Father has an uh a Marxist approach or or no, he said, go to the original document and and read by yourself what he actually said.
And he is far away.
He said, uh I can show you how he's far away from being a Marxist or being a socialist.
Uh those people who who even conceive that idea.
Well then if if they don't let me tell you something.
Let me just tell you something, Mauricio.
I did not make this up.
I read a translation of what the Holy Father said, And he was uh in fact the the term unfettered capitalism was mentioned, and then and then somebody wrote later, he never said that.
No, and then he the the term trickled down and all that was was was criticized and and uh and all and then somebody wrote he never said that.
No.
So that so why did Time name him man of the year if he did not rip capitalism?
Because there's nothing else about the Pope that Time magazine would admire.
The Pope is pro-life, they're not.
The probe the Pope believes in Christ, and that's like showing Time magazine or Dracula the Cross.
The Pope is anti-gay marriage.
Time magazine's for it.
If the Pope didn't rip capitalism, why is he man of the year?
I don't know.
That's a mystery to me, too.
Yeah, that's a mystery to me too.
But uh because it was a Reuters report.
That's what I remember.
I was reading a Reuters report, which would love Reuters, couldn't contain them, so they were so happy reporting what the Holy Father had said.
Yeah, no, they made a mistake because I'm just telling you this the what but but now the term is umbrero or you know I I had people earlier today tell me that the Pope was named Man of the Year, just so the media could stick a thumb in my eye, and I said, No, that can't possibly be.
I'm beginning to wonder now.
What these sermons on the Catholic TV network about this, it was the Reuters story that quoted somebody quoting the holy father's a Marxist.
It was Reuters that was reporting all this stuff about what was in the Holy Fathers economic document.
