Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
No, it's embarrassing is what it is.
There's nothing admirable about this.
There's nothing uplifting about it.
There's nothing inspirational.
This is not about good role models or family values or any of that.
I mean, this is absolutely absurd.
No, I'm not a Huma for crying out loud.
I don't want to ever hear another word about a Republican war on women because Democrat women are doing more to set women and whatever causes they might have back to the Dark Ages.
Huma Abidden is doing everything she can to make sure that women are seen as stepping stones and doormats.
It's incredible.
And then to listen to the drive-by media, I mean, they're having orgasms over this woman and how wonderful she is, how great she is.
Wait till you hear some of these soundbites.
Anyway, folks, great to have you here, El Rushbo and the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
I have more to say here than my fluent brain can keep up with.
That's amazing.
Telephone number is 800-282-2882, the email address, El Rushbo at EIBNet.com.
There is no question in my mind that if there is a war on women out there, it is being conducted by the Democrat Party and it's being conducted by Democrat women.
This little press event yesterday between Carlos Danger and his wife Huma Abidin, whose loyalty everybody is now praising.
Her loyalty is to Clintons.
Her loyalty is to Hillary Clinton and her role model is Hillary Clinton.
Dormats.
Doormats with the promise of a payoff later down the road.
I mean, this Wiener guy, Carlos Danger, this is reprehensible.
I mean, and to think that this guy is still viable and in fact might even win the mayoral race in New York City.
Folks, let me tell you something.
These people out there, they've been out there trashing conservatives, trashing conservative women and making up this phony meme of a Republican war on women for the last four years or so.
And this party is doing more to demean women and to relegate them to a doormat status than anything the Republican Party, policy-wise or any other way, has ever, ever man, I mean, even dreamed of.
So let's go to the audio soundbites.
First up, I'm not even going to play you, Carlos Danger.
I mean, this is a couple of bites here from Wiener, but all he said was, we told you the last time that there'd be more popping up, and more have popped up.
And we said that other texts and photos were likely to come out, and today they have.
It's all behind me now.
Nothing to see here.
Oh, no, nothing to see.
No, you just continued your behavior even while the lovely and gracious Huma was pregnant, carrying around little wiener.
While she was pregnant, Wiener was still doing all this stuff.
But it's all behind us.
There's nothing to see.
They've made it cool.
They have made it acceptable.
They have made it understandable.
They have made it normal.
They have made it common to be totally cockholded in front of the world by a man.
Huma Abadin, Hillary Clinton, in fact, have made it a resume enhancement for the Democrat Party.
Hillary Clinton and Huma Abaddon have seen to it.
That's why this mayor out in San Diego, what's the big deal?
Sexual harassment?
This guy's a piker compared to Clinton.
It's a resume enhancement for the Democrat Party and these women standing by, making it cool, making it acceptable, making it noble, making it common.
You want to talk about setting an example for young women everywhere?
I mean, here we are in the midst of a hookup culture.
By the way, folks, I have, I'm going to get to these soundbites.
I'm not trying to avoid them.
I just keep reminding myself of things here.
I had a piece that I didn't get to yesterday that is a column.
Yeah, it was in salon.com.
This is the most amazing thing.
I got pages stuff together trying to reach here.
My so-called celebrity affair by January Lang, which is a pen name.
The woman is writing here under a fake name.
Days before my 30th birthday, I was naked in a swanky Manhattan hotel room gazing at the Hudson out of Florida ceiling window waiting for a former NFL player to join me for the evening.
At the time, I assumed that this was just going to be one more in a long string of interesting hookups, like the Afghanistan veteran who'd been deployed three times, or the lanky white boy with Japanese name, courtesy of his adoptive parents, or the male model with a business degree from the University of Phoenix.
What I got instead was a months-long relationship.
They gave me a rare window into the life of the celebrity mistress, a life far less glamorous than I once had assumed.
This is that prints to three pages.
And it's a woman telling the story of her months-long affair with an NFL player, a two-time Super Bowl winner.
And now, wait a minute, Sterlis is yelling at me.
Why are we supposed to care?
Well, here we are in this hookup culture.
This woman writes this piece and she contains in it her thoughts or writes about her thoughts about this guy's wife and how she doesn't care about this guy's wife.
She doesn't care what she's doing because it's not real.
It's just a hookup relationship.
But this guy's promising her the moon, dinners, gifts, great sex, great hotel suites in New York City, and she's content.
She's content to be a doormat as long as she gets things out of it.
She doesn't care what's happening to the guy's marriage.
In fact, she convinces herself that the guy and his wife actually love each other and that the wife understands what's going on, that her husband's a former football player and he's going to stray and so forth.
Then it comes to light that the wife doesn't particularly like this.
But it's just, it's, anyway, she's the purpose of the piece is to dissuade other women from falling into the trap of becoming a mistress for a celebrity.
It's seductive and it's cool and it's really nice and it's even fun.
They would go out in public.
They'd be seen in public and it was really cool.
People would be staring at her and she liked all the attention and so forth.
These are liberal women, folks.
These are women that come right out of the feminist movement.
That's why I am interested in it, Snerdley.
Because feminism is a political arm of the Democrat Party.
Feminism is liberalism, and look at what it's doing.
Look at what it's promoting.
Look at what it's condoning.
All the while, we have to live in this lie that there's some sort of Republican war on women.
We don't do this to women.
We don't objectify women like this.
We don't treat them as doormats as a matter of political life.
Anyway, that's at salon.com, and it was a couple of days ago.
My so-called celebrity affair.
I mean, the woman ends up writing about it's no good.
She didn't like it and so forth.
But her cavalier attitude about it and the fact that she was busting up this guy's family, she didn't care.
Now, the NFL player isn't named.
I don't know if it was OJ, I don't know if it's Mantai Teow.
I don't know who it was.
She didn't say.
There's no indication who the player is.
It could have been any one of them.
But here's Huma.
Let's get to these soundbites.
This yesterday afternoon in New York City in what looked to be, did you see this, Snerdley?
This was the strangest place.
It looked like an office building in front of a bunch of cubicles where secretaries work.
And it was late yesterday afternoon, and Anthony Weiner and his wife, Huma, and a press conference discussing new revelations of his involvement in another cybersex relationship under the name of Carlos Danger.
When we faced this publicly two years ago, it was the beginning of a time in our marriage that was very difficult, and it took us a very long time to get through it.
Our marriage, like many others, has had its hops and its stamps.
It took a lot of work and a whole lot of therapy to get to a place where I could put on things.
It was not an easy choice in any way.
But I made the decision that it was worth staying in this marriage.
That was a decision I made for me, for our son, and for our family.
Now, I have no problem.
That's fine.
I'm not, it's their marriage, it's their business and all that, but these people politicize everything.
And they're out there.
These are the same people running this so-called political movement that the Republicans have this war on women going on.
And it is not us, folks, that are making a mockery of women.
It's not us using them.
It's not us chewing them up and spitting them out.
It's not us making fools of them.
It's not us disrespecting them.
It's not us doing any of this stuff.
Not as a political party.
It's them.
And they run around out here and they make it cool and acceptable.
Noble even to engage.
You got Hillary.
You got Silda.
You got Huma.
Even Elizabeth Edwards hung in there with the Brett girl.
All the way back to Gary Hartpence's wife.
Remember her, Lee Hartpence.
Democrat women lead the way in showing other women how to be stepped on and diminished by men.
That's what they do for a payoff somewhere down the line.
What Huma is doing is setting aside all this for whatever is in it for her outside of her marriage, obviously.
This guy – by the way, does Huma not care about the people of New York?
And if her husband might actually win and become mayor, what kind of guy is going to be leading the city?
Does she not care about it?
Obviously not.
Now, they can stay in their marriage all they want.
As I say, their business, I'm not trying to make their business any of my business, but they take their business and they try to normalize their depravity.
And they try to almost regalize it.
They try to make their behavior noble and the new norm.
But what these women are doing, folks, we're talking about a bunch of power-mad leftists.
And these women are standing aside while these men show everybody who they really are.
These women are standing aside and allowing these kinds of guys to gain power over us.
It is a double whammy.
It's not enough that Huma and Hillary deal with these guys in the privacy of their marriage.
Now Huma and Hillary and Silda and all the rest are actively working to inflict these guys on the rest of us so that they will have power over us too, the way they have power over these women in their marriages.
And then these guys, genuine reprobates all run around creating these phony war on women that the Republicans are conducting.
It just sometimes more than I can handle.
Here's one more from Huma.
Anthony's made some horrible mistakes both before he resigned from Congress and after.
But I do very strongly believe that that is between us and our marriage.
We discussed all of this before Anthony decided to run for mayor.
So really what I want to say is I love him.
I have forgiven him.
I believe in him.
And as we have said from the beginning, we are moving forward.
Yeah, well, the problem is you're enabling this reprobate to move forward, knowing everything we know on all the rest of us, not just you.
That's the problem.
I got to take a break.
Wait till you hear the media, right?
That's predictable.
But the media is having an orgasm over Huma.
Liberal feminist women are having an orgasm over this.
It is ironic.
It is hypocritical.
It's funny as well.
All right, folks, to the audio soundbites, we return.
This is Dana Bash, CNN, with Wolf Blitzer on the Situation Room.
This is after Weiner and Huma held their joint presser to discuss new revelations of Wiener's sex perversions.
Wolf Blitzer, speaking with Dana Bash, said, Dana, he acknowledged that some of these new revelations of sexting occurred after he resigned from Congress.
I think that the most important thing is, wow.
Not just that he acknowledged that, but that this was the first time we heard his wife, Huma Abedeen, speak at a press conference, but also speak about these issues.
This wasn't just an issue of a scene of a wife standing by her political man.
This was a wife coming up to the cameras, coming up to the microphones, and talking, which was frankly extraordinary.
She is somebody who isn't just a wife.
She is very politically savvy.
Those of us who knew her in Washington know she knows exactly what she's doing.
And maybe most importantly, she learned at the knee of Hillary Clinton, somebody who maybe most famously stood by her man politically.
And so she's following in those footsteps.
God, and it's something to be proud of.
Something to be proud of.
She learned at the knee.
I'm thinking other body part here, folks.
She learned at the knee of Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton taught Huma everything she knows.
It's a badge of honor to have a husband, a sex pervert that behaves this way.
They're in awe.
They're stunned.
These are feminist women who are going gaga over this.
Anyway, sadly, my friends, we're out of busy broadcast moments for now, but we've got more coming up.
We now be going to grab a phone call.
Ladies and gentlemen, here in the EIB network, we have Fran.
Hello?
Hi, Fran, Cersei, Arkansas.
My mother was born in Cersei, Arkansas.
I know.
Isn't that exciting?
It is exciting.
It's thrilling.
Anyway, I'm glad that you called.
Well, I'm glad I did too.
I just called to disagree with you a bit about Huma and Hillary.
Yeah.
You said that all these guys have them in their power.
I think the ladies are kind of letting this happen to get the men in their power.
Okay.
In the case of Hillary, yes.
Yeah.
No question.
She stands by Bill because of what it means for her.
But here's the thing.
Here's the thing.
I look at this.
I'm sorry.
These people politicize everything, and they're politicizing this.
It doesn't appear to the layman as though there's anything political about this, but there is.
The guy's running for mayor.
Hillary Clinton's the guiding light for Huma and so forth.
Okay, so Hillary ends up standing by Bill, and the reason Hillary and Huma are being praised is because they are allowing acceptable liberal politicians to thrive.
That's why they're appreciated.
They're not appreciated for their minds.
They're not appreciated for their brains.
They're not appreciated for all of the so-called substance.
They're appreciated and adored because they are allowing liberal men to go through life unpunished for these transgressions.
Okay, Hillary gets power by letting Bill make a fool of her.
Fine.
What and Huma is following the same path.
You may be right.
At the end of the day, they end up with more power.
But look how they got it.
In other words, the message is for a Democrat woman to really end up with power, marry a reprobate and let him make a fool of you and then hold that over him for the rest of your marriage.
Yeah.
What kind of recipe for power is that?
That's how they have to get it?
By being mocked and made fun of and made a fool of?
Well, I guess they just don't see it that way.
Oh, obviously they don't see it that way.
This is all politics.
They sit there and talk about these ancillary things.
But if Huma, all of this is a political calculation with these people.
Right.
Well, I think the women are martyrs.
You know, they are martyrs.
Well, they clearly...
The women's lived, to the, you know, the left women, they are martyrs.
And nobody is more powerful than a martyr.
Well, again, let me Within the liberal feminist universe, you mean they're martyrs.
Yeah, yeah.
Right.
Good grief.
This is what it takes to be a martyr.
You permit a man to make a fool of you.
You permit a man to mock your relationship and your marriage.
You permit a man and you stand by, then you enable that.
And then you make it acceptable.
Then you make it cool.
And you become a martyr and you become cool.
Yep.
That's quite a role model message, isn't it?
Right, yeah.
It's not in my world, but in their world, I think it is.
Would you recommend your daughter follow a path like this?
Absolutely not.
You know, my theory is once you cross the perversion line, to do anything across the perversion line, anything goes.
Nothing matters.
And the liberal women have crossed the perversion line.
And I know I might get in trouble for saying that, but they've crossed the perversion line.
And anything goes.
Nothing is sin anymore.
Nothing is evil.
Well, look, except Republicans.
I don't see exactly.
Exactly.
In all of this, it's the Republicans who are evil.
In all of this, it's the conservatives who are the kooks and the freaks and the oddballs and all that.
I just look at Fran, and by the way, all the rest of you, I understand exactly.
Maybe, you know, I'm a passionate person on a lot of things.
Sometimes I may mask unintentionally my own point.
I'm not naive about this.
I know full well why these women are doing it.
It is their roadmap to power.
Hillary was granted quasi-presidential powers when Bill was president because she was the one who enabled his career by standing by him.
Her payoff was health care and any number of other powerful positions that she was never elected to.
In addition to that, the Democrat Party has owed Hillary ever since Bill decided to go beyond governor of Arkansas.
And that's why in 2008, Hillary was the presumed nominee.
It was her turn.
It was her payoff.
We've been through this before.
Folks, I've explained it to you.
I don't want you to think I don't know what's going on here.
I'm looking at this in a different light now.
Hillary's being paid off.
She gave up everything to go to the swamps of Arkansas with Bill.
She gave up everything.
She became the breadwinner.
She had to produce the money.
While Bill was out there dilly-dallying around with his job and other women, she put up with it.
And so there's a payoff for this.
Hillary's, you know, the irony is, is that all of these people said that Hillary could have been a powerful woman in her own right, but she subordinated that to Bill Clinton and their marriage and blah, blah, blah.
Well, we'll never know, will we?
Because the only way Hillary Clinton got power was to allow a man to make a fool of her.
The only way Hillary Clinton acquired power and some modicum of respect is because she enabled a liberal politician to go through life unpunished for things that other men would pay a steep price for.
And now Huma, having learned from the master, is doing the same thing.
I know what's going on.
I know this is my point.
Huma has decided that there's more in it for her to stay in this personally and selfishly.
And her husband becoming mayor and what that might mean and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And I just, I don't know.
I don't want to go into the or get into the business here of imagining what these relationships are like behind closed doors.
You know, for example, I could say these are loveless relationships.
This is not the kind of stuff.
These are calculated business/slash political relationships, marriages that occurred for those reasons, and that's why all this stuff is permitted and tolerated and excused.
But I can't really say that because I don't know whether there is love or not in these relationships who's been excused twice.
Yeah, Huma.
This is the two excuses for the same thing, which tells me that she doesn't really care.
Now, I guess that's what I'm getting at.
Huma doesn't really care.
It's no big deal.
Spends most of her time with Hillary anyway.
She doesn't really care.
I don't think Hillary really cared what Bill did.
You know what really made Hillary mad?
None of the Lewinsky thing.
They got cut.
That's what made her mad.
She knew all this was going on, just like Huma knows it's going on.
Hillary knew.
There's a Bimbo eruptions unit.
Hillary ran it.
She knew.
What was the purpose of the Bimbo Eruptions Unit?
To make sure that the women did not succeed in damaging the political fortunes of the husband.
Hillary knew.
She knew this is going on.
Didn't bother her.
There were other things that mattered more.
Same thing with Huma here.
They know this is going on.
This is my only point.
Not my only point.
It's another relevant point.
They know all this is going on.
And they're not, I don't think they're really that bothered by it.
There is no feeling of, no feeling of betrayal.
Is anybody acting like you?
Do you really think Hillary felt betrayed?
Sturdily is saying, at some point, she had to feel betrayed.
Why do you marry somebody?
Okay, Mr. Snirdley.
All candor now.
Don't misunderstand my tone.
I'm a serious question.
Tell me which time she felt betrayed.
Was it Jennifer Flowers?
Was it Paula Jones?
Was it Monica Lewinsky?
Was it Kathleen Willey?
Was it Juanita Broderick who alleged rape?
I had Elizabeth Grayson, right?
And others whose names you don't know.
Okay, so you tell me, which one of those did Hillary finally feel betrayal over?
I don't think there's any sense of betrayal here.
These are arrangements.
These are political arrangements that take place for a larger purpose.
And the behavior that we see here is that which is necessary to ensure the larger purpose is met.
So if Weiner's got this knack for texting babes he doesn't know, okay, well, we've got to deal with it somehow.
How do we deal with it so that we survive it?
Okay, we'll play the supportive wife role.
We'll go out there and tell everybody I love him.
We've dealt with it.
We're going through therapy, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
It's a calculation.
Look at, again, I want everybody to understand that my, it's not outrage here.
Remember, these are the people who were out there telling all of these lies about Mitt Romney.
And pick any other Republican about war on women and all of his.
These are the people out there trying and succeeding in convincing low-information people that Republicans are the ones who want to keep women barefoot, pregnant in the kitchen, and unheard from.
It's blatant hypocrisy.
I mean, Huma looked happy to me yesterday.
Huma looked like she was beaming.
Huma looked proudful, in fact.
Did you see it?
Huma didn't seem embarrassed.
She didn't seem hurt.
She didn't seem, in fact, she didn't even appear as though she didn't want to be there.
She was eating it up.
It was a great opportunity.
Now, you may not know this, but she told People magazine on July 18th, a few days ago, I'm very happy in my present life.
Anthony has spent every day since the scandal trying to be the best dad and husband that he can be, and I'm proud to be married to him.
Well, all this time, Wiener's out there sexting and pretending to be Carlos Danger and all this sort of stuff.
I'm telling you, this is all manufactured to make sure political careers are not derailed.
And that's where the payoff for these women is.
Friend from Cearce, Arkansas is right.
This is how Democrat women acquire political power is by making sure that their men get theirs.
We'll be back.
Don't go away.
Let me remind you of something, folks.
You remember during the presidential campaign, CNN had a show at a roundtable discussion, and on the show was one of their commentators named Hillary Rosen.
And Hillary Rosen is out there sliming Ann Romney.
Do you remember what Hillary Rosen said?
Ann Romney's never worked a day in her life.
She doesn't have any idea what it's like to be a real woman.
That's the kind of crap that I'm talking about.
These people get away.
Ann Romney is a genuine, real role model for any human being, not just women.
And these people run around and trash genuinely good people like Ann Romney.
Yeah, never work a day in her life.
Ann Romney doesn't know what it's like to be a real woman.
She doesn't have to put up with any of the strife and the hard work that most women in this country have to put up.
In the meantime, the Democrats trot out people like Hillary and Huma as real, courageous, strong, and tough, role model type women.
That's the kind of stuff that I'm really talking about here that we get.
You know, I just, it's just blatant hypocrisy and worse.
Now, speaking, I've got to tell you a funny, cute little story.
Involves women, in fact.
Last week, we sold out of these tumblers.
This is the second time now we've sold a 2F by T, Rush Revere and Revered Rush tumblers.
So last week, our customer service got an email from a librarian in Sierra Madre, California.
What had happened was two women had rolled into the library asking if they could be shown how to get online and get to the 2F by T website because they wanted a couple of tumblers and the free case of tea.
And they didn't have a computer and they didn't have the slightest idea how one worked.
So they went to the librarian in the Sierra Madre Public Library and the librarian helped them out and showed them how to do it and told us the story.
We got an email from the librarian telling us this story.
These women spent hours trying to figure it out.
And they input the offer code, didn't know what that was.
They're trying to the shopping cart and this kind of stuff.
But they wanted the stuff so badly that they asked the librarian to help them.
And the librarian did and showed them the computer in the library how to get this all done.
And by the time they had figured it out, we were sold out.
There weren't any left.
So the librarian sends us this.
Now, quite by coincidence, we get the email from the librarian, customer service, telling us about it.
And, you know, I have, I always keep, you know, five or ten in a private stash.
So we were able to get a couple of tumblers and a case of tea to these women.
It blew me away that they would go to this much trouble just to try to get a case of tea and these two tumblers that they went all the way to the library and they spent three hours trying to figure it out.
That's how loyal they are and how badly they wanted the stuff.
Hey, folks, the Drive-By Media is not impressed, at least on the surface, with Obama's 19th refocusing on the economy.
They're kind of mocking this in the Drive-By Media.
