I remember Senator Rubio campaigning against Chris.
I remember, I know who Rubio is.
I wish he would get out of this whole immigration fight and not tarnish himself because there is a lot of potential in Marco Rubio.
This immigration thing is going to taint.
I just hope it doesn't.
Live from the Southern Command in sunny South Florida.
It's Open Line Friday.
And look what happens when you get in bed with these people on the left.
Look at.
I don't want to call it moving over to the dark side, but listen, look what happens when you cross the line and go over there.
I don't know.
Open line Friday.
Great to have you back.

Speaking of immigration, by the way, we have an exciting episode of the official Obama criticizer coming up in this busy broadcast hour.
We haven't heard from the official Obama criticizer in a while.
I thought it was overdue, in fact.
So that's coming up at some point.
And I'm not mean here in teasing you.
I don't know when.
We never plan anything.
We just do it when it happens, when it feels right.
I do want to give you an umbrella in a way here.
I really think, folks, let me tell you the way Washington thinks.
In many ways, but this is one way they think.
They need money.
The U.S. government needs money.
We are hopelessly in debt.
The tax increases that are coming are already over the top.
Washington knows, much of official Washington knows, that they've gone beyond the point here of taxation because the impact on economic growth and productivity and creativity has now been stifled.
I mean, the tax rates are such that real creation of wealth, real opportunity for prosperity is diminishing left and right.
They've got to come up with money.
And they know this.
If you use the popularly accepted figure of 1.3 million abortions a year and go back to Roe versus Wade, 1973, 52 million taxpayers haven't been born is the way Washington looks at that.
They don't look at it morally.
They don't look at it in any kind of cultural way or with any kind of cultural impact.
They just say, we're 52 million people short.
We got 52 million fewer people paying taxes.
We got to replace them.
Hello, amnesty.
The Democrat Party needs a permanent underclass in order to keep themselves alive as Santa Claus, keep winning elections, stay in power.
But Washington overall, Much as they hate people, much as they hate their base, much as they hate the middle class, they still need people working and paying taxes, regardless how many people are going to be paying a lot or a little, regardless, you know, the illegals' income levels might be such they wouldn't be paying much, but it's better than nothing.
So, one of the reasons for amnesty is to replace the 52 million people aborted.
I just want to tell you something.
I really think that abortion is at the root.
You could do a flow chart.
I think abortion is at the root of so much that has and is going wrong in this country.
I think that the number of abortions themselves, but what in total it all means culturally, in terms of the sanctity of life, how that's crumbled.
I think it's almost at the root of everything.
And if it's not at the root of everything, it's clearly had a profound impact on our culture, our society, and our politics.
I think in ways that people don't even stop to consider none of it good.
And it's caused all kinds of horrible problems that nobody knows how to fix because they refuse to even accept that abortion is more than what it is.
To most people, it's just a woman's right to choose, and it's nobody's business, and leave it alone.
And I don't want to talk about it, but it's really had much more impact on this country than just that.
It's had impact on crime, it's had a profound impact on our politics.
It is at the root of our cultural rot and decay.
You can trace the problems with accepting personal responsibility, no consequences for your actions.
You can trace so much right back to it.
And I'm not talking about the women.
I'm talking about the overall effect of a society having literally no problem with eliminating 52 million of its citizens.
That has to, that can't be good.
Much of it is a subliminal subconscious effect.
Obviously, it's not something that's apparent, but it makes all kinds of sense when it's explained to you.
And perhaps someday I will.
Nancy Pelosi was in an interview recently with Weekly Standard.
And she really, to prove my point here or to illustrate it, she was asked about Kermit Gosnell.
And she doesn't see anything wrong there.
That's no different than third trimester abortions.
And by the way, that's it.
She wasn't going to talk anymore about it because she is a devout Catholic.
She's got six kids.
And it isn't about politics.
And she's not going to discuss it anymore, she said, because the interviewer was taking it in the direction of politics.
abortion isn't politics abortion is sacred ground she said it is a sacrament it is the sacrament of liberalism is what it is
i don't know how you can have so much white guilt over slavery 150 years ago and have No guilt over what's happening with abortion.
I really don't.
And I think it is the cause of so much that seems to be inexplicable to people.
Why are 10-year-olds shooting each other to death in Chicago?
Why is our society so permissive anything goes?
The more ribald, the better.
The more honorable, the more boring it is said to be.
It's just, to me, it's something that's really obvious.
But to Washington, if you're looking, if you can't figure out, if you're scratching your head, you're pulling your hair out.
What in the world is so damn important?
Immigrants start more businesses than native-born Americans.
Immigrants have better family lives?
Immigrants are more fertile?
What in the world?
Where does we need 52 million people that we don't have?
We need the taxes of 52 million people that don't exist.
They were conceived.
They were going to be born, but something happened, and they're not here.
But we need them.
Our birth rate is not at replacement levels.
Population, we're not.
That's what he means with his fertility business.
Not a matter of fertility.
It's a matter of abortion.
I'm going to take a break here because I didn't intend to do this program irritating everybody.
Okay, back to the phone.
Not back to the phones.
We're going to start on the phones.
It's Open Line Friday, and we always try to take a few more calls.
This is Rob in Kingston, Oklahoma.
Welcome, sir.
Great to have you up first today.
Mega Ditto's Rush.
Thank you for having me on.
You bet.
20-year listener and a 17-year disciple.
So I wanted to give you some info to how to get the low-information voters and maybe some of them the oil information women voters back, wake them up to what's going on.
I was listening to a news report the other day that 11% of adults admit to sexting themselves to their boyfriends, girlfriends, wives, husbands, and significant others.
And all that data and information is now going on to these onto these NSA databases.
And I can even give you an example of a commercial that promoted that.
And I would say the percentage is much higher, but that Samsung commercial where the man is going on a business trip and the wife says the girls made a video for you.
You can watch it on the plane and they sync their phones together.
And then she said, and I also made you a video, but don't watch it on the plane.
And then they sync the phone again.
And it's becoming a big thing in our culture that men and women are sending a lot of pictures of themselves to what they think are private pictures.
What are you suggesting?
That I start sending nude photos of myself out there to attract low-information women to the program?
Well, I think you should still strut it.
You know, I've seen you on the golf course and on television, so I think you should bring it.
No, I'm just saying that it's this.
Now, what does that tell you?
If 11% admit it, we've got 11% of adults admitting that they're sending each other nude photos in what is called sexting back and forth.
It's pretty cool, isn't it?
Well, yeah, until you find out that the government's sitting there storing it on a data bank somewhere, and people think, well, they don't care.
Wait, the low-information people don't care.
You think the low-information people care about that?
I think that they don't know.
Lately, I've been talking, I'm in the salon industry, and women talk about everything.
Wait a second.
Wait, wait, wait, what?
That's a multi-definitional word.
What is the salon industry?
We are salon suppliers of products to salons.
Well, but a salon on Fifth Avenue may cost you $500 an hour.
What kind of salon are you talking about?
Beauty salons, hair salons.
Hair salon.
Yeah, hair salon, nail salon, that kind of salon.
Yes, and that's kind of like the barbershop and anything, all conversation goes in a beauty shop.
I was thinking of the Elliott Spitzer.
Well, you know, it kind of looks like that in the salon.
Talked about that way.
Okay, so your theory that these 11%, they're nude sexting each other and themselves, but they don't know that the NSA has it.
So you want me to tell them?
Absolutely.
And then when I tell them, they're shocked and they're horrified.
And so then they're going to do what?
Well, I think they're going to make these are people that I don't know if they are really Obama supporters, but they're not necessarily conservatives or Republicans.
Okay.
They're kind of muddled the road.
Let me jump in here.
This is, if that's the purpose, if you want me to warn all of you nude sexters out there, and you know who you are, the NSA has them.
The metadata, the NSA, the prison program, every nude photo that you have sexted, the government has it.
That is supposed to turn people against the regime, right?
That's supposed to, wait a minute, wait a minute.
It's one thing to be taken by the phone over.
They got my nude pictures.
Then what?
They want to get rid of Obama?
Is that you think it would?
You think, let me, folks, let me tell you something.
Nothing, I'm going to say this again.
This isn't anything new.
Nothing is going to happen to Obama.
Nothing is going to happen to any Democrat.
Not one of these scandals is going to lead to an investigation that ends up meaning anything.
Nothing is going to happen to Lois Lerner.
Nothing is going to happen to Doug Shulman.
Nothing is going to happen to whoever did whatever or didn't do whatever in Benghazi, except for the filmmaker.
Nothing is going to happen to anybody in the intelligence agency for sweeping, for hoovering, for soaking up, for spying.
Nothing is going to happen to anybody, especially to Obama.
Nothing is going to happen to any Democrat.
The media is never going to change.
The media is not going to go after Obama.
The media is not going to go after Lois Lerner.
The media isn't going to go after anybody in government, even if they do have nude pictures that you have sent people.
The Republicans, you say, the Republicans want to be more like the Democrats.
Mainstream establishment Republicans want to be Democrats.
I don't mean as in party switchers, but they want to be as loved as the Democrats are by the media.
They want to be thought of as cool by Hollywood people.
The Republicans want to be Democrats.
Anybody thinking anything else is living in fantasy land.
Nothing is going to happen to Lois Lerner.
Not one thing is going to happen to Lois Lerner.
That's my prediction.
Zilch Zero Nada.
Most people have never heard the name.
The IRS scandal is over.
Elijah Cummings of the Congressional Black Caucasians effectively said earlier, actually late last week, the IRS scandal is finished.
Have you seen anything on it?
What?
They fired somebody.
Just like they fired Lerner.
Put her on administrative leaf.
She still has her computer.
Are you ready for who they replaced whoever been fired with?
Are you ready for this?
Cybercast News Service, IRS, hiring diversity and inclusion specialists starting at $123,000 a year.
That's the solution.
So the IRS was spying on the Tea Party.
The IRS was harassing the Tea Party.
The IRS suppressed the political participation of the Tea Party, the fix, a diversity and inclusion specialist to help guide remaining IRS employees in fairness so that no more will Tea Party people be discriminated against.
And that is it.
Philip in Dallas, you're next as we continue here with Open Line Friday.
Hello.
Rush, I don't think we're in a position to allow them to let the IRS story be over.
It's all tied in.
We just found out the FBI hasn't been monitoring Muslim mosques since 2011.
Is that correct?
We just found out that the IRS doesn't know diddly squad about what happened.
FBI hasn't contacted a single Tea Party group in the IRS probe.
I think it's pretty safe to say those NSA monitoring programs are pretty much targeted at us.
Right.
The FBI is not monitoring mosques.
I was going to say, because last two, three days, I've been saying that I want to find a pathway to the shadows.
And Snerdley said, go to a mosque.
He's absolutely right.
Our government is not spying on or collecting data from mosques.
So if you really want to go to the shadows, go there.
Absolutely.
I've started a beard.
We'll have you.
Now, I get your, but you're making my point.
The wrong people being profiled.
But really, are we the wrong people?
What is this regime doing?
This regime is attempting to eliminate all opposition.
This regime, Mr. Gerson, looks at its opposition as its enemies, and they're trying to rid the playing field of its enemies.
Immigration story here from Reuters, folks, and it has an interesting development in the House that really is news.
First off, the headline, Senate rejects Republican effort to gut immigration bill.
Landmark immigration bill survived a major challenge in the Senate yesterday when its gang of eight sponsors beat back an amendment that would have delayed a pathway to citizenship for 11 million illegals.
This was the Grassley Amendment that was beaten back.
The Grassley Amendment would have prohibited a first step toward granting them legal status until the Department of Homeland Security has maintained effective control of the U.S.-Mayco border for a period of six months.
That was the amendment, which is what we had all been assured had to happen, or there wouldn't be any Republican support for the Gang of Aid Bill.
Then that changed, that we have to do the legalization first and then do the border for two reasons.
We have to do the legalization to get them out of the shadows.
We have to do the legalization to find out who they are.
And then we have to levy fines so that the fine money we collect will pay for the border security.
But this story also has a development in the House that could be big news and disturbing news.
The House immigration legislation includes, quote from the story, provisions giving state and local police departments powers to apprehend undocumented people.
Now, remember what Michelle Bachman said.
Michelle Bachman said that the House bill is going to look really good.
It's going to look like it is really, really good.
It's going to get a lot, a lot of support, and it's going to pass the House.
But the stuff in it that everybody likes is going to be taken out in conference.
That's the conspiratorial theory that has evolved about what's going to happen in the House.
The immigration legislation in the House, again, includes provisions that give state and local police the power to apprehend undocumented people.
Now, the Democrats in the House are calling that a step backward that would lead to racial profiling.
John Conyers, the senior Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, said it is alarming that this bill would turn millions of undocumented immigrants into criminals overnight.
It's not only terrible politics, but it's inhumane policy.
So what we know, which we already did, but what we've had confirmed, therefore, Democrats do not want to ever detain illegal aliens, even after this latest round of amnesty.
Now, that ought to open people's eyes.
That ought to tell everybody everything they need to know about this whole idea of immigration reform.
It really is just a plan to open the borders.
If there's a provision, well, the House bill grants amnesty.
The House bill, well, no, the House bill moves it forward, but the House bill has a provision that local cops and state cops can apprehend undocumented people.
And the Democrats say no.
Now, it's still going to be illegal to cross the border after amnesty, folks.
This is the key.
Even if the Senate bill were to pass and be signed by Obama, crossing the border illegally is still going to be illegal.
Amnesty will not mean that anybody in the world is also free to come.
Amnesty will, theoretically, only apply to the 11 million or whatever number are here.
But anybody after amnesty signed into law who crosses the border illegally is still an illegal immigrant.
And the House bill would therefore permit local and state authorities to apprehend those people.
Democrats say, nope, no way, Jose.
We're not agreeing to that.
Meaning, as far as the Democrats are concerned, at no time is anybody to be treated as an illegal, which should tell everybody what the Democrats' real objective here is.
And amnesty is just one step of the objective.
The objective is a constant, never-ending inflow of low-skilled, uneducated people that will make up a permanent Democrat Party underclass.
You know, that's when the Democrats shine.
That's when the Democrats think they are at their best, when they're speaking up for the downtrodden.
When the Democrats are speaking up for the little guy, when the Democrats are speaking up for the poor, when the Democrats are speaking up for the hungry and the thirsty, when the Democrats are defending and speaking up for the people who have not won life's lottery, that's when they think they are their best.
That's when they know they get their votes.
That's when they know that they win the battle of who happens to have the most compassion.
Democrats and Republicans.
The Democrats need poor people.
The Democrats need a never-ending inflow of poor people.
And they need those people to stay poor as long as they can.
They need poor people depending on Democrats.
They need poor people in the welfare state roles.
They need poor people looking at government as Santa Claus.
And just because we grant amnesty does not mean, as far as they're concerned, that that shuts off immigration.
No, we're just going to deal with these 11 million and we're going to start all over again.
We're going to have millions more in another 20 years, have to do it all over again.
That's what their agenda is.
And this pretty much shines the light on that.
Democrats need poor people so badly they have to import them.
The Democrats must keep people in the dark about the source of prosperity.
The Democrats must make sure that people do not learn where real prosperity comes from.
As far as the Democrats are concerned, you need a never-ending flow of poor people who think that government is the source of prosperity, that government is the source of life.
And as people in America grow and perhaps maybe in time fall out of that arrangement, the Democrats need replacements.
The Democrats need poor people so badly they have to import them.
The Democrat mission is not to raise people up out of poverty.
The Democrat mission is to make sure there are a constant number, growing number of poor people.
That's when the Democrats shine, folks, is when they're defending them, when they're speaking up for them, when they're making the case for the poor.
That allows them to blame Republicans for practically everything.
Accuse Republicans of being heartless and cold and cruel and extreme and all the rest.
You need victims.
Victims of the Republicans.
Victims of conservatism.
Ergo, you need a never-ending inflow of poor people.
And as an added bonus, the less educated they are, the better.
Open Line Friday continues.
The official Obama criticizer in just moments.
It is Open Lion Friday, Rush Limbos serving humanity.
As usual, half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
Now time, ladies and gentlemen, for the official Obama criticizer.
Here is Mr. Bo Snerdley.
Thank you.
This is Bo Snerdley, the official EIB Obama criticizer, certified black enough to criticize 100% American organic slave blood with a legitimate birth certificate on file, uncut truth on your dial, delivered with a smile.
And I have a statement.
Mr. Obama, your IRS is running covert ops on the Tea Party.
There are also hidden conservative religious groups you oppose.
Other agencies, the EPA, the ATF, for instance, coordinated harassment of your opponents, political donors.
Your underboss, Eric Holder, went to the mattresses on the AP and Fox News.
They even intimidated the parents of a Fox News reporter.
We still don't know what happened in Benghazi because your crew hid the witnesses.
The FBI didn't show up to investigate for weeks at a time.
That scapegoated movie director you threw in or movie maker you threw in jail on trumped up charges.
Now, he's so scared to talk, he sounds like a neutered puppy.
Your NSA has everybody's number, for real, and their email addresses.
Meanwhile, the Congressional Black Caucus had to beg you to appoint just one cabinet member.
You finally tossed them a bone, gave them one.
Are there any jobs in the black community?
New jobs?
No, forget that.
Obamacare is killing full-time work for a lot of minorities.
But, but you gave the LGBT, BLT, whatever you call them, they get props.
And the Hispanic media went off on you.
What happened?
They get immigration on the table.
Now, in the past, people have called your political tactics Chicago-style politics.
Wrong.
There's only one person in American history that did what you were able to do, and that was in the movies.
Michael Corleone.
Okay?
Now, a translation for EIB Brothers and Sisters in the Hood.
What up, yo?
Oh, check it out, Perez, bro.
Listen, you've been busting it out like big time.
You got the IRS and the Tea Party all up in people.
Man, you up in their grill, bro.
You squash Romney's money hookups.
You pop the cap on Fox, man.
You put AP under your foot, bro.
You know, what do they say, man?
Smile, you talk soft and carry a big stick.
Yo, that's exactly what you're doing, man.
You got it going on.
You're the BGIC, the big gangster in charge.
Okay?
This is gangsta government, okay?
You feel me on that?
But check it out, bro.
This NSA thing, like, this thing is like kind of totally uncool.
You know, you on top of everybody's phones and emails, man.
What are you, man?
Like, Snoop Perez?
You the new Snoop?
People do a lot of stuff on their smartphones, man.
They don't want you peeping on.
You know, and you got people peeping on peeps doing all this.
But, yo, never mind that.
Let me ask you this.
What's up with you and the brothers, man?
What's going on?
We had to like beg you, get on your hands and knees, run doggy style, just for you to appoint somebody up with you in the White House.
Your health care joint costing brothers and sisters their full-time jobs.
You told us to get your back.
We got it.
And now you're stabbing us in the back one more time.
Jobs, where are they?
Everybody still got short cash while y'all are still living large, man.
That's not right.
Something's not right here, bro.
You got to, got to straighten this business out.
If you could, you would.
But after five years, well, look, that's all the time I got.
I'm out.
See y'all later.
And that's the official Obama criticizer, Mr. Bo Snerdley.
The transcript of both will be available shortly at rushlimbaugh.com.
And now back to the phone, Sandy and Provo, Colorado.
Is that right, Provo, Colorado?
Yes, that's good enough.
Good enough.
Okay, glad to have you.
Hello.
Thank you so much.
It's so nice to be able to talk to you.
You know, I wanted to refer what you were talking about, Marco Rubio explaining that he needs to legalize undocumented workers so that we can get their fines to build a sense.
You know, I don't know if everybody knows that the IRS doesn't care if a taxpayer is here legally or not.
All they care about is that a person pay their taxes.
I think larger employers are required to verify the legal status of their prospective employees by e-file.
Smaller employers don't.
I know someone who is here illegally who became employed that way.
Business slowed down.
So your point is they're already paying taxes.
Is there any new revenue to collect from them?
I'm just wondering if that I wish somebody would mention that people can file their taxes without needing to be here legally.
And that's what I wonder.
This person I know started his own business, wanted to do things legally because he couldn't find a job, applied for a TIN, which is a taxpayer identification number.
He buys liability insurance and workers' comp insurance.
He pays his taxes every year.
I don't know.
So the idea of legalizing people, I don't think, is really necessary.
Making them able to get jobs through e-file might be the first step instead of just blanket legalizing.
If you have my opinion.
If you're working in this country and if you're paid, a business is required, if it's above the table, obviously, required to deduct Social Security, the payroll taxes, and so forth.
Whether you're a legal citizen or not, if somebody is paying somebody else's income, there will be taxes on it.
Yes.
Look, I know this is.
If I had a wish list, if I had the ability to wave a magic wand, I would somehow extricate Senator Rubio from this whole immigration thing.
This is – and I think that's pretty self-explanatory, folks.
It's getting to the point now that it's – you know, you hear Jeb Bush, immigrants create far more – The illegal immigration crowd, the amnesty crowd is getting as it seems as desperate as some of the inanities that we hear or heard from the global warming people.
We've only got 10 years or the world is going to be boiling in seawater.
Whatever the absurd claims they made to try to scare people into agreeing with their ideas, it got to the point, and it is at the point where they're laughingstocks.
Al Gore is a laughingstock to everybody except him and his inner circle.
Anyway, I got to take a break.
I appreciate the call, Sandy.
Don't go away, folks.
We've got much more.
Stay here.
You realize, folks, that just the smell of money is corrupting.
Yep, it's a story here from CNBC.
Just the smell of money, the scent of money is corrupting.
