No, but I'm talking about the Mini, the mini's out.
But I'm talking about I thought they were going to refresh the current top of the line iPad.
Change some of the internals, make it a little thinner, new screen, lighter, more battery power, that kind of stuff.
It looks like they've done a fourth generation here with twice the graphics and image processing power in the previous ten hours about.
I gotta check this.
I just now being announced.
And uh I swore I wasn't gonna get into this till after the program, not take up valuable programming time, but somebody sent me a flash note here saying it's um fourth generation.
That wasn't supposed to happen till March or June next year.
Anyway, anyway.
Uh pardon me, folks, I know that you don't care.
Uh 828 people do, I know.
The uh iPad mini, you can hold it one hand, you can put it in your pocket.
It's you wouldn't believe how thin the thing is.
It is amazingly thin.
Yeah, they're just announcing it.
Uh now the announcement's been going on for an hour, and they usually run an hour and a half, two hours.
New uh IMAX, uh new MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch.
So I gotta get busy and upgrade the prize closet in there.
Uh telephone 13-inch retina MacBook Pro to go along with the 15-inch retina MacBook Pro.
And new IMAX 21 and 27, but not retina.
Just faster processors, there's a uh uh new kind of uh uh display process, but it isn't it isn't retina.
Anyway, we're here and we've got broadcast excellence coming to you from the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
This iPad Mini is thinner than Obama's new jobs pamphlet.
Obama, he has he has come out with a new jobs plan, folks.
You talk about a guy that's totally on the defensive now.
He has announced a jobs pamphlet.
He's got a second term agenda that he's out there trying to sell now.
And the new iPad Mini is thinner than his pamphlet.
There is the most amazing AP story here, ladies and gentlemen.
I have I have that story here, my formerly nicotine stained fingers.
By the way, I just want to tell you, the only thing new in this new plan of Obama's is his promise to remove a deduction for moving jobs overseas.
The only problem is that is an Obama fantasy.
There is not a tax deduction for moving jobs overseas.
It is not written that way.
There is no such tax deduction.
This is a bunch of bull.
You know, this came up in the second debate, and Romney called him up, maybe the first debate.
Romney looked incredulous at well, what do you mean tax deduction for sending jobs overseas?
There is no such thing.
And Obama laughed, uh, you're supposed to be the big financial guy, and you don't even know.
So Obama's promised to remove it, but it doesn't exist.
Does he really, you know, the fact checkers have gotten in gear today?
We're gonna get to that here in just a second.
The fact checkers have gotten in gear.
Obama lied through his teeth last night, and everybody got a little upset with Romney for not calling him on it.
But there is a certain element of truth to the fact that post-debate media will take care of that stuff.
And the fact check on Obama today is brutal on how much he lied last night about things.
So he must think that he still lives in in a media vacuum where whatever lie he tells will not be exposed, that it'll be promoted as the media has always done for him.
It's an Obama fantasy, folks.
There is no deduction from moving jobs overseas.
How ridiculous Does that sound anyway?
This is an associated press profile of Barack Hussein Obama.
It's by a guy named Jerry Schwartz of the administration press, otherwise known as the AP.
And I want to read some of this to you.
This unbelievable.
Nearly four years after Barack Obama was elected to the most powerful orifice in the most powerful country in the world, the question remains who is he?
That's the lead from the Associated Press, who's done everything they can do to keep us from knowing who he is.
They did everything they the LA Times still will not release that video of Obama at a yucky meeting with Khalid Rashidi, or Rashid Khalidi, the big uh pro-Palestinian anti-Israel anti-Semite.
The LA Times has a video of Obama praising this guy.
And they won't release it.
Yeah, Obama's new ideas to attack the private sector.
There is no advantage in the tax code for moving jobs overseas.
In fact, the truth is exactly the opposite.
So he's got this new job plan pamphlet, promising to remove a tax deduction that doesn't exist.
And the purpose of this is to once again attack the private sector, make it look like he's improving something, attack the private sector lying about the tax code.
Don't know how else to say it.
But this AP profile.
Remember now this is four years later.
Nearly four years after Obama was elected.
The question remains who is he?
He seemed to come out of nowhere.
He had served seven years in the Illinois Senate and less than four years in the U.S. Senate, a meager political resume augmented by a stirring speech at the Democrat convention 2004.
He was an exotic story, at least by the standards of the forty-two white men who preceded him in office.
Son of a black African and a white Kansan born in Hovai, raised there and in Indonesia was something new.
And America seemed ready for him.
He won almost nine and a half million votes more than John McCain.
And yet, there was the feeling that we knew less than we needed to know about our new presidents as Janny Scott, the author of a singular woman biography of Stanley Ann Dunham, Obama's mother.
He didn't fit a comfortable template.
Four years have passed.
We have watched Obama as commander in chief waging wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
We've seen him accept the Nobel Peace Prize.
We have seen him grapple with a dismal economy and a relentless opposition.
We have been spectators to a grueling fight over health care, from which he emerged victorious, if only just barely.
All of this in the glare of a fierce and unyielding media spotlight.
By now, we should have a fix on the man who's asking for a second term, but still we ask who is Barack Obama.
I don't know I don't know how to calmly react to this.
I am trying to concoct an analogy here.
This is the Associated Press which did everything to create this false image of Obama, did everything they could to create this magical new arrival, unseen in American politics before.
He was going to lower the sea levels.
He was going to restore love and trust for the United States all over the world.
He was going to create new energy sources that would not pollute the skies or the water or the land.
We would have new sources of food.
We would have no enemies anymore.
Everybody would love everybody else.
Republicans and Democrats would link arms, sing Kumbaya, and everything would be lovely because everybody would get a little.
This is the myth that they presented.
At least Charlie Rose and Tom Brokaw had the temerity to do this two days before the election the first time around.
I don't know who he is, Charlie.
I don't know what books he's read.
I don't know who informs him on important politics.
We just don't know, Charlie.
And who is this man?
We don't know, Charlie.
And then John Meekham and Evan Thomas of Newsweek.
He's creepy, you know, this guy at Grant Parkway.
He's above us.
He's standing up there, watching us watch him.
Very creepy.
Four years into the destruction of the United States economy in the AP says who is he?
Gee.
Gall Lee.
Then they're serious.
How can they how does this get past an editor?
What world do these people live in?
Do they not recall that every effort to get to know Obama was laughed at, impugned?
Every one of us who sought to inform people who Obama is, and it is knowable.
We know who Obama is.
I clearly knew enough about Obama to say two weeks before he was inaugurated.
I hope he fails.
He's gone from being a blank slate to an angry stare.
I I I just I don't know how you do this.
Every one of us who attempted to tell the American people who Barack Obama really was.
We were attacked.
We were ridiculed.
We were called racists.
We recalled all of these names, racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe, whatever.
Any effort, any effort to find out who Obama was was racist.
Any effort to tell people who Obama was was labeled as racist.
And now here we are, two weeks to the day from the 2012 election, the AP has a profile, which isn't a profile.
It's a profile that says who is the guy.
Their job to tell us who he is.
Their job four years ago to vet to find out who the guy is.
Tell us everything there is about him.
His college transcripts, how he got into college, where he went to college, what his grades were, how did he get to be the head hauncho a law review whatever writing anything?
But any effort to uncover even this was met with ridicule by the very AP who today asks, who is he?
In a profile.
By the way, does this is you know, there are people, ladies and gentlemen, who they do not listen or watch what I will here call partisan media.
They don't watch Fox, they don't listen to talk radio, they don't watch PMS NBC.
They just watch the network evening news and they read the newspapers.
Now the newspapers is where you find AP stories.
And there are going to be these people who only know the AP and the three networks and their nightly news are going to read this.
How does this help Obama?
How in the world is AP running a profile?
Who is he after four years?
How does that help him?
And we know the AP isn't for uh isn't for Romney.
I have to take a brief time out.
I want to get to some debate sound bites that I have here, really decent ones and uh and and more of your phone calls to squeeze in as we continue here at our breakneck pace today.
you Thank you.
Okay, grab somebody 33, uh, Mike.
This is Jessica Yellen at CNN.
And Jessica Yellen at CNN is reporting on Obama's uh new second term agenda.
The CNN.
CNN Jessica Yellen in the tank, can't find anything new here.
I wouldn't put it that way because he has put this out before.
He's just never put it out in a booklet like this.
We heard these same details at the Democratic Convention.
We've heard them from his mouth on the campaign stump for days and months and weeks.
And so my point is there's not anything significantly new in here.
Uh it's just all compiled in a nice booklet now.
So we get the point that there is something, um, but you can still critique it for lacking details about will he pursue immigration reform?
What specifically would his tax reform plan look like drilling down into the details?
There aren't any.
Nothing new here.
Nothing to see here, folks.
Move on.
It's coming apart at the seams out there for old Barry.
CNN, you know they would love to talk about what's in here.
It's going to kill Romney.
And nothing in there except this phantom elimination of a tax deduction that doesn't exist.
He's going to eliminate the tax deduction for creating jobs overseas.
There isn't such a thing.
I'm trying hard not to scream and and be uh incredulous here, but I don't know how to avoid it.
Just last night, he's all over Romney for not telling us how he's going to get there.
Well, he's going to display me and tell us how he's going to get there.
I it's nothing new.
It's just in a booklet form.
First time it's been in a pamphlet.
We move on.
Uh let's, you know what?
Let's skip 18 and 19 because I got a time crunch here.
We'll move on to audio sumbite number 20.
This is from the debate, Obama lying about Romney and General Motors.
I said these companies need to go through a managed bankruptcy, and in that process, they can get government help and government guarantees, but they need to go through bankruptcy to get rid of excess cost and the debt burden that they'd built up.
And fortunately, Governor Romney took what you said.
Fortunately, the president.
You can take a look at the op-end.
I said that we would provide guarantees, and that was what was able to allow these companies to go through bankruptcy to come out of bankruptcy.
Under no circumstances would I do anything other than to help this industry get on its feet.
And the idea that has been suggested that I would liquidate the industry, of course not.
Of course not.
Let's check the height of silliness.
Governor, I want to destroy and thriving.
Anybody out there can check the record.
Governor Romney, you keep on trying to airbrush history here.
They checked the record today.
The fact checkers checked the record.
Obama's lying.
Obama got it wrong.
He was misstating entirely.
Bye.
What Romney said.
There was absolutely no way that Romney did what Obama alleged.
In fact, the very New York Times editorial, the news media loves to cite, Romney specifically called for government assistance.
He wanted the private sector to be involved, to be responsible.
The government was going to help out, but the government was not going to buy these companies.
If only Bob Shefford had a copy of that op-ed.
Anyway, so uh Obama didn't get away with it.
Here is Romney burying Obama on the apology tour.
The president in his campaign some four years ago said he'd meet with all the world's worst actors in his first year.
He'd sit down with Chavez and Kim Jong-il with uh Castro and with President Achman did a job of Iran.
And uh and I think they looked and thought, well, that's an unusual uh uh uh honor to receive from the president of the United States.
And then the president began what I've called an apology tour of going to various nations in the Middle East and and criticizing America.
I think they looked at that and saw weakness.
Yeah, and Obama didn't like this.
It got under Obama's skin.
Nothing Governor Romney just said is true.
Starting with this notion of me apologizing.
This has been uh probably the biggest whopper that's been told during the course of this campaign.
And every fact checker and every reporter's looked at it.
Governor has said this is not true.
Well, but the problem is it is true.
He did run around the world blaming America, agreeing that America had been the problem here or There in Cairo.
He talked about how the American people had imposed their way on people for far too long.
Everybody knows he engaged in an apology tour.
And after Obama called him a liar, Romney came back even stronger.
The reason I call it an apology tour is because you went to the Middle East and you flew to Egypt and to Saudi Arabia and to Turkey and Iraq.
And by the way, you skipped Israel, our closest friend in the region.
But you went to the other nations.
And by the way, they noticed that you skipped Israel.
And then in those nations and on Arabic TV, you said that America had been dismissive and derisive.
You said that on occasion America had dictated to other nations.
Mr. President, America has not dictated to other nations.
We have freed other nations from dictators.
Amen.
One of my favorite lines.
Well, one of my favorite facts of all time on this program.
And I've run into liberals since I've been doing this.
I can't you know what the phrase is?
We have imposed freedom on the rest of the world.
We've imposed our way of life.
I've heard it from liberals all my life.
Obama's just another liberal, and he's just echoing the sentiment.
The big bad United States huffs and puffs, and we impose our way of life.
And I've always said we don't impose freedom.
Freedom, in fact, this isn't the undeniable truths of life.
Freedom is not an imposition.
Freedom cannot be an imposition by definition.
You can't impose freedom.
You liberate people, and that's what we have done.
There are cemeteries of American dead all over the world.
Men and women who have died, liberating others from tyranny and freedom.
And Obama denies this and apologizes to this country.
We will be back.
Don't go away.
Let's listen, ladies and gentlemen, to some of Obama's remarks and speeches around the world.
April 3rd, 2009 in Strasbourg, France.
In America, there's a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world.
Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America's shown arrogance and been dismissive.
Even derisive.
Now, what the hell would you call that?
That's even worse than an apology.
This is the guy running around blaming the country to the Europeans who wouldn't exist if it weren't for us.
We have defended them.
Call your attention to the cemeteries all over Europe again.
They don't have to have defense budgets because of us, because of NATO.
They're free to won their Western democracy, their socialism into the economic ground all they want.
They're free to implode economically like they are because we have propped them up, the Marshall Plan.
This is in his third month.
January, February, third month of presidency, April of 2009.
America has shown arrogance and been dismissive and even derisive.
And we have failed to appreciate Europe.
He's just jealous of their train stations.
He wished we had train stations like they do.
Everybody has a as a mob getting on trains instead of driving cars.
This is worse than an apology.
Here's June 4th in Cairo, Cairo University, Barack Hussein Obama.
Mm-mm.
Iraq was a war of choice that provoked strong differences in my country and around the world.
9-11 was an enormous trauma to our country.
The fear and anger that it provoked was understandable.
But in some cases, it led us to act contrary to our traditions and our ideals.
We are taking concrete actions to change course.
I have unequivocally prohibited the use of torture by the United States.
And I have ordered the prison at Guantanamo Bay closed by early next year.
It was outrageous that he would say this.
He's over at the seat of our enemies.
Cairo, Egypt is where Al Qaeda was born.
Well, Saudi Arabia for bin Laden, but Zawahiri and all these guys, The hijackers were Egyptian, many of them Saudi.
He goes over there, promises to close Git Mo, he accepts every talking point that we were guilty.
We had no reason to go on Iraq.
Our previous cowboy president went in there as a matter of choice for whatever ill-gotten reasons.
We acted contrary to our traditions and our ideals when we did not act contrary to our traditions and our ideals.
We were acting in defense of U.S. national interests.
Romney was exactly, he didn't hit him hard enough on this stuff.
This was worse than an apology tour.
This man went around the world and indicted this country.
And he wasn't through.
We're still in Cairo on June 4, 2009.
In the middle of the Cold War, the United States played a role in the overthrow of a democratically elected Iranian government.
I understand those who protest that some countries have weapons that others do not.
No single nation should pick and choose which nation holds nuclear weapons.
And that's why I strongly reaffirmed America's commitment to seek a world in which no nations hold nuclear weapons.
Fat Chance.
Fat Chance Dream On.
and Naive little liberal, a nation, a world where no nation has nuclear weapons, dream on.
How are you going to get them out of Pakistan?
How are you going to get them out of the ChICOM's hands?
How are you going to get him out of the hands of Putin?
When you ask Putin to just be patient with you, you can be a little bit more flexible after you win re-election.
You get rid of ours while he holds on to his.
This is worse than an apology tour.
This is the president of the United States deriding his own country.
June 4th, still in Cairo.
There has been controversy about the promotion of democracy in recent years.
And much of this controversy is connected to the war in Iraq.
So let me be clear.
No system of government can or should be imposed by one nation, by any other.
See, Romney was dead on right last night.
Here he is once again.
Democracy is not what we're about.
Freedom is what we are about.
And you do not impose freedom.
You liberate people and give them freedom.
You don't impose freedom on people.
It's not possible.
Because freedom is not an imposition.
So right after, right after our president says, it's not up for anybody else to determine who has nuclear weapons.
Right there.
I tend to believe the media reports over the weekend that Obama has told the Iranians that he thinks they're within their rights to have nuclear weapons.
That was a leak over the weekend.
I tend to believe it because of what he said in Cairo.
No single nation should pick and choose which nation holds nuclear weapons.
Means us.
Means we're not a superpower.
Means we don't have the right.
This was not an apology tour.
It was a condemnation tour.
By the way, didn't Obama just impose our democracy on Libya?
Didn't he just impose our democracy on Egypt?
Didn't he just impose?
He wants us to believe that he brought democracy flowering to the region.
The Arab Spring is the outbreak of Obama-like democracy, right?
Didn't he impose that?
Not one nation.
No system of government can or should be imposed by one nation or any other.
You don't impose...
Folks, I'm sorry.
I've forgotten how mad I was back in June of 2009 listening to this crap.
I really forgot how mad I was of reliving it all over again.
And we knew this during his campaign.
We knew who he was.
And to have to read that AP the story story today, say, who is he?
After four years, we still don't know.
If you don't know after four years, you're not looking.
If you don't know who this man is after four years, you don't care.
This is a condemnation tour.
We're not finished.
Let's go to June 2, 2009 on the BBC News.
North American editor Justin Webb interviewing Obama said, You're making a speech in Cairo.
Amnesty International says there are thousands of political prisoners in Egypt.
How do you address that issue?
Democracy, rule of law, freedom of speech, freedom of religion.
Those are not simply principles of the West to be hoisted on these countries, but rather what I believe to be universal principles that they can embrace and affirm uh as part of their national identity.
The danger, I think, is when the United States or any country thinks that we can simply impose these values on another country with a different history and a different culture.
See, this is why he's not qualified.
This nation as a superpower stands for freedom and liberty all over the world.
We secure and protect ours when we defend it and secure it around the world.
We want every f human being to be free.
We want every human being to have liberty.
It's not an imposition.
It is called liberation from tyranny.
And here is this guy saying the danger is when the U.S. thinks that we can simply impose these values on another country.
What values democracy, rule of law, freedom of speech, freedom of religion?
Those are not worth imposing on people.
Well, I think those are just universal.
Uh people have those anyway.
No, they don't, Mr. President.
We've had to fight for hours.
That's how this country was founded.
Was the pursuit of liberty and freedom, sir.
And ours is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it.
And Lord knows we never expected to have to fight our own president to secure it.
But that's how many of us feel that we are now having to fight our own administration to maintain freedom of religion, ask the Catholic Church, freedom of speech, ask the filmmaker of this mythical video.
I'd forgotten how mad I was.
I'd forgotten how offensive and how outrageous.
He's talking about the United States like it is an imperial power.
He is talking, you know, Dinesh D'Souza's movie 2060's got a point here.
He's talking about this as though he's a victim of it.
Colonialism.
The big bad Brits came into our country and they took over.
What'd they do?
They imposed freedom and votes and democracy and so forth.
You know, Conrad Black wrote a piece for National Review some months ago now that I thought would blow the roof off, but it got lost in the news of the day.
He made a point in his piece is say what you want about colonialism.
Say what you want about it.
But the nations of that part of the world who uh third world who lived under colonialism were better off then they are now after the colonialists have been booted out after the Brits left, they were better off then.
Their life was better, economies were better than they are now.
They're all been taken over by dictatorships now.
They're all reeking poverty, starvation, disease.
But that's that's a discussion for another day.
This is this is just outrageous.
This is you have a disqualifying.
This is disqualifying.
This is the stuff that we knew before the election that nobody else told the rest of the people.
This is the stuff that AP wouldn't tell anybody, stuff the New York Times wouldn't tell anybody.
This is the stuff the CBS ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, LA Times, they would not tell their readers and viewers any that we knew it, you knew it.
You knew this was Obama's view of America, but nobody else did.
Look at how many Americans thought that he was something totally different than this.
And then it's just six months in, and he's on this condemnation tour, this apology tour, this this out speaking as though America is some sort of imperial power that's imposing all this stuff on people.
None are right.
April 17, 2009, Mexico City, Obama and President Felipe Calderon a joint news conference.
I will not pretend that this is Mexico's responsibility alone.
A demand for these drugs in the United States is what is helping to keep these cartels in business.
This war is being waged with guns purchased not here, but in the United States.
More than 90% of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States, many from gun shops that line our shared border.
So we have responsibilities as well.
We have to do our part.
Stop the test Fast and Fury.
This is exactly what he wanted out of Fast and Furious.
This is it.
He makes the guns available.
He gets the walkers.
He and Holder allow these guns to go to the Mexican drug cartels than he has after the mayhem, after the death, after the carnage using American guns, he goes and has a joint presser with Felipe Calderon and bashes America.
Bashes the Second Amendment.
Bashes the freedom, the right to bear arms.
Gosh, I can't.
I can't express to you how mad I was back then hearing all this stuff.
All of this, 2009, all of this in the first five months of his presidency.
And the media today can't find any evidence that Obama ever apologized for America.
This is the blame America first tour, is what this was.
This was a liberal wet dream taking place, folks.
They were as happy as they've ever been.
This is why they're upset.
I gotta take a break.
Don't go away.
We'll be back here in just a second.
You know, if our embassy personnel all over the world had the same kind of protection the news media gives Obama, our brave men in Benghazi might be alive today.
They can't find any evidence of the apology tour.
Andrea Mitchell, NBC News in Washington, can't find any.
Jonathan Carl, ABC News can't find any evidence of the apology tour.
Coco.
I want every sound bite that we aired here.
From Obama's Apology Tour in Europe and in Cairo and in Mexico City, I want it at the top.
I want everybody that goes to rush limbod.com today and tomorrow to be able to find that without looking.
I want those sound bites.
I want them linked.
I want them up there.
I want people to be able to read the transcripts.
I want people to listen to Obama at the top of Rushlimbaugh.com.
However you have to arrange the page.
I love issuing orders like this on the air where they must be followed.
I don't know.
No, seriously.
How do you impose freedom is the natural yearning of the human being when born?
How do you impose freedom?
You can only take it away.com and I want you to spread the word.
We'll put this stuff on we should tweet it out, Facebook, and all of these soundbites we played with Obama condemning and blaming America for imposing freedom.
The reason the drive-by's, by the way, can't find this because Obama or Romney's got a great ad running about the Apology Tour.
And just like he did about Obama's welfare reform, and they're trying to cover that up and discredit the Romney ad, they won't get away with it.
