Time Text
Now look at look at here.
The new polling suggests, uh, ladies and gentlemen, women are switching in droves to Romney.
Really?
All of a sudden, women in these huge numbers have just now decided to switch to Romney.
Once again, ladies and gentlemen, these women made up their minds months ago.
This is nothing other than the polls correcting themselves.
This is nothing more than the polls getting ready to reflect the results of the election because now is when their credibility is called into question.
I don't I mean, this number is incredible.
The number of women that switched to Romney in the latest poll to give him uh what is a five-point lead?
This just happened?
I'm sorry, folks, it doesn't happen that way.
Masses of people do not make up their minds this way.
This has been the case for months, is my point.
Anyway, more on that in due course.
I got so much I want to say here, I don't think I can speak as fast as my mind is running.
800 28282, if you want to be on the program, the email address L Rushbo at EIB net.com.
Now, Mrs. Clinton, I just want to wrap this up.
And then we'll get on to the uh into the uh debate tonight.
Hillary Clinton may think that she's taking the hit for Obama, but she isn't.
She's always gonna be in the hot seat given her position, but Obama cannot escape this.
I don't care what they think.
He cannot escape this.
His usual defense, it's Bush's fault.
That doesn't work here.
So for Benghazi, Obama can't blame Bush.
He can't blame the rich.
He can't blame what he inherited.
He can't blame the Republican majority in the House.
He can't blame Bain Capitol.
He can't blame Romney.
He can't blame Hillary, he can't blame anybody.
It's all on him.
Whether he knows it or not, this is all on him.
And when will the media following Obama around put the question to him?
In fact, they did.
Grab audio sound by number 26.
This afternoon, CNN's newsroom, they played a clip of Obama in Williamsburg, Virginia, he's walking outside joking with reporters.
This is uh it doesn't take long here.
This is about four sixteen seconds.
Just listen to this.
How are you feeling about tonight?
I feel fabulous.
What's this beautiful day?
Are you aware Michelle voted for you yesterday?
Thank goodness.
Hillary to blame for Benghazi.
He kept walking.
You want to hear it again now?
Somebody in the press corps just asked him, is Hillary to blame for Benghazi?
I get a couple of emails from people who are worried that Obama will step up tonight in the debate.
He'll man up and he'll accept responsibility and he'll accept blame.
That'd be the manly thing to do, and it'd be a bold thing to do.
And as such, Obama could score big.
I got people paranoid and Obama's gonna win this thing, going away big tonight, gonna totally reverse every gain Romney has made.
Well, if he's gonna man up, he had a chance to do it.
Listen, this is just moments ago.
How are you feeling about tonight?
I feel kind of freaking this beautiful day.
Are you aware Michelle voted for you yesterday?
Hillary to blame for Benghazi.
He's still walking.
He still hasn't replied.
Is Hillary to blame for Benghazi?
I guarantee you, whoever asked that question, Axel Rod's gonna be all over him.
So the media following Obama around did put the question to him.
The problem for old Barry is he's still saying that Al Qaeda is on the run or beaten or whatever.
What's that based on?
Is that what our intel says?
No, our intel's not saying that.
Action on the ground isn't saying that.
He's still campaigning.
We had the soundbite, I think it was either yesterday or Friday.
He is still campaigning.
He is Still saying Al Qaeda's on the run.
He said it in a campaign appearance somewhere in front of his usual crowd of college students.
Al Qaeda's still on the run.
One month, one month after Al Qaeda successfully attacked the consulate and killed four Americans, including our ambassador, our president is still saying on the campaign trail that Al Qaeda's on the run.
I want to know what information Obama had.
What information did Obama have?
What was in those intel briefings?
What would he have been told if he had actually allowed himself to be briefed?
Who came up with this video concoction?
Who came up with that, and who decided to run with that for ten days?
Until that fell apart.
So shortly after the terror attack, he leaves Washington, fundraising, of course, has little interest in what actually occurred.
What do you mean how do I know a little bit?
Did you see him act concerned about this?
There wasn't any interest whatsoever.
He got out of town, he went to Las Vegas, he went to Letterman, he went to Jay-Z.
The reason is he had what he considered his cover story, the cover story being the video.
See, in Obama's world, whatever he says is accepted.
Whatever he says, the media will buy, they'll promote, they'll promulgate, and it's done.
Video, end of story.
So he had his cover.
He had his cover story.
Now one day, one day, ladies and gentlemen, hopefully very soon, we will learn, and I'm going to predict to you that we will learn, that Obama's top advisors, including some of his top campaign people, were involved in this cover up because that's what this is.
And Mrs. Clinton has now inserted herself into this cover-up.
We're going to learn that some of his top campaign people were involved in this spin, that they were involved in the spectacle, involving that poor guy in California who produced the video.
We're going to learn the campaign was involved in talking with Susan Rice before she won on all those TV shows and lied.
We're going to learn that it was not the administration.
Administration being separate from the campaign.
We're going to learn that all of this was orchestrated by the campaign.
An Axelrod, a David Fluff, or whoever else.
I'm going to predict to you that a reporter already knows that that's the case and is probably saving it for the usual book that comes out months after the campaign.
I don't have any doubt.
I've got zero doubt that the campaign's running this whole show.
The campaign's running the story on the video, Campaign came up with that whole cover up.
The campaign is involved in Mrs. Clinton taking a hit.
The campaign sent Susan Rice out.
Not the administration.
Not the regime.
This is a cover-up.
Obama is doing all he can to keep the lid on the facts behind this attack and the efforts to keep it covered up because I have no doubt it would engulf the entire Obama enterprise, just like Fast and Furious would.
My point is you can't separate the campaign from the administration.
They should be separated.
They should be two solely self-contained operations.
They are one.
They have been combined into one operation.
And what we have here, the reason why this is important, is that we have the campaign conducting foreign policy.
Campaign advisors, political consultants, polsters, media spinmeisters, are determining administration policy.
That's why this is important.
That's what I think is going on.
That's how all of this is explained.
It's only if that is happening that any of this makes any kind of sense.
No responsible president, no responsible administration, even attempts any of this.
It's too transparent.
He doesn't have any substance.
None of it is believable.
This is so typical of campaign spinners, spinmeisters, consultants.
Take your pick.
It's a pure, unadulterated cover-up.
If I were Bill Clinton, watching all of this...
out there campaigning for this administration a second term, knowing full well its culpability in this country's demise economically, the debt, its culpability and its incompetence, and now throwing his wife overboard, which maybe he doesn't even care about.
I don't know.
But he ought to be embarrassed with himself if that's possible.
Still out there campaigning for Obama while Obama tries to destroy his wife.
What a man.
What a guy.
But of course, Clinton's done the same thing.
Clinton has disrespected Hillary, I don't know how many times in their life in their marriage.
She puts up with it.
There's some carrot being dangled out there still.
Might be her dream of being president someday that keeps her in line here.
But the way this woman's being treated and the way this woman accepts being treated.
These are not real men, folks.
These are panty wastes.
And they're doing everything they can to protect their backsides while sending her and Susan, whoever else out.
And at the at the bottom of all this, you're gonna find the campaign orchestrating all of this.
Okay, a quick time out.
We'll come back and we'll um we'll move into the debate.
What is sound bite one more time, Mike?
Number 26.
Had to hear this one more time going into the break.
If this afternoon in Williamsburg, Obama emerges, have you s the debate prep memo is 2800 pages.
Did you see that?
The health care bill is only 2700.
The debate prep memo, 2800 pages.
No wonder he says he doesn't like it.
Anyway, he emerged from his deep preparation from his cramming.
Why should that even be necessary unless you're concocting spin?
At any rate, he emerges in the media.
His buddies start firing off some questions for him.
How are you feeling about tonight?
I feel fabulous.
Look at this beautiful day.
Are you aware Michelle voted for you yesterday?
Thank goodness.
Hillary to blame for Benghazi.
I want to talk about Mitt Romney at Bain Capital for just a second.
And uh ask you a question.
While working at Bain Capitol, how many flimflam men do you think Romney had to deal with?
How many shysters, how many flim flam salesman guys building themselves up and their businesses which were bottoming out?
That's the only reason Romney would be at a business is because it's in trouble.
How many flim flam artists you think Romney's dealt with, had to shoot down?
I'm sure that Romney throughout his career, Bain Capital, even at the Olympics, governor of Massachusetts, wherever.
I'm sure he was told all the time by hotshot CEOs of failing companies without a clue how to turn it around that profits are just around the corner.
Just needed a little more time.
I can just hear it.
Romney goes into trouble, business meets with a troubled CEO, CEO says, we're right there.
I mean, we're just it just need a little bit more time, Mitt, just a little bit more time.
Maybe an effusion of some more capital.
Maybe Mitt if we raise taxes on the rich just a little more time, Mitt.
I think he's heard this a lot.
I wonder if that experience might not have manifested itself in the first debate.
See, let me tell you what this debate tonight is.
Obama knows that he is clueless.
Romney knows that Obama is clueless.
And Obama knows that Romney knows that he's clueless.
And that is why Obama hates Romney.
That's all you need to know.
I could close up shop.
I could say, okay, for the rest of the day, best of Shaw, I'm gonna go home and activate another iPhone.
Yes, he knows he's clueless.
He knows he's clueless.
Now, he also thinks he's God's gift.
But when I see he knows he's clueless, he got nothing to run on.
He's cooked.
He's got nothing to run on.
He can't point to anything he's done and say we want more of it, and people want more of it.
Let me put it this way.
Instead of clueless, I'll say full of it.
Obama knows that he's full of it.
Romney knows that Obama's full of it.
And Obama knows that Romney knows that he's full of it.
And because Romney knows that Obama's full of it, and Obama knows that Romney knows it, that's why Obama hates Romney.
There's nothing.
Look, I got fired by an Obama Clinton type guy for simply challenging the guy.
I couldn't handle the lies anymore.
I couldn't handle this guy building himself up to be bigger than he was.
I couldn't handle this guy bragging about all the people he said he knew that he didn't know.
And I finally called him.
I said, look, Zeke, you don't know the half of what you and I got home 30 minutes later, and the owner of the radio station is on the phone saying, it's just not working out, we gotta let you go.
I just I couldn't help myself.
I got so frustrated with it.
That's what we're dealing with here.
Now one thing that we know Obama is going to try to do, this 47% business.
And also Obama is going to try, and we know he's gonna go back to Bain.
They're recycling stuff.
They're gonna go back to the beginning of the campaign.
And recycle hits.
And one of those is Obama is going to say that what Bain Capital does today is something Romney's responsible for.
And he'll cite whatever horrible things Bain Capitol is doing and link it to Romney.
If that happens, and by the way, I've not given advice to anybody.
They haven't asked me, and I haven't called them.
So I'm just sharing with you idly here my gut reaction on some of these things.
If Obama brings up Bain Capitol and tries to blame Romney for anything, Romney should simply say, Mr. President, you just shifted blame for the murders of four Americans in Libya to your Secretary of State.
You are letting a woman take the blame for a lack of attention to detail on your part.
You told the world you were a foreign policy expert when it came to Middle East.
You told the world and Americans that we would be loved again.
Simply by you being elected.
Now there's been a massive failure of judgment that resulted in the deaths of four people you have run from responsibility.
This is on your watch, Mr. President.
Yet you see nothing and hear nothing.
And your vice president sees nothing and hears nothing.
And you now accuse me of being responsible for every minuscule detail at Bain Capitol, whether I work there or not.
By the way, how hypocritical is it of you, Mr. President, to talk about this imaginary Republican war on women when you blame the chaos in Benghazi on Hillary Clinton.
And after he says that, then he answers whatever question is asked.
You know they're going to bring up this 47%.
They're salivating.
Everybody knows the 47%'s gonna come up.
Romney should simply say, let's talk about the middle class, Mr. President.
You seem so convinced and so eager to talk about the 47%.
Let's talk about what you've done as president.
Let's talk about your actual record as it relates to the 47%.
Mr. President, 23 million unemployed and underemployed.
5% loss median family income.
$54,000 a year to 50,000.
47 million Americans on food stamps.
You want to talk about 47, Mr. President?
There are 47 million Americans on Food stamps, and that number has increased geometrically under your administration.
One out of six Americans, Mr. President, and all of them in the 47% in poverty.
Unemployment, Mr. President, is almost 15%.
When you count the unemployed, the underemployed, and people in temporary jobs who want full-time jobs.
You call this a recovery, you call this progress.
This is a miserable disaster, Mr. President.
You and your policies are wiping out the middle class.
You seem to believe that more taxes and more spending and more debt and more regulations will create jobs.
Nobody else thinks that.
The proof of your failure, Mr. President, is in your record, and you can't blame anybody else for that.
You can't blame Hillary Fort.
You can't blame George Bush for it.
You just have to look at yourself in the mirror.
You say you've created five million jobs, Mr. President, but you don't count.
You don't count all the people who've dropped out of the workforce.
See, that's a true number, Mr. President.
And under you, there are less people working today than when you became president.
For every person that finds a job in your administration, ten people leave the workforce, Mr. President.
And they're all in the 47%.
See, when I worked at Bain Capitol 20 years ago, we actually created more jobs than you have as president.
So yes, let's talk about the middle class.
You are ripping off senior citizens by stealing $716 billion from Medicare to pay for your Obamacare disaster.
The children of the middle class are having their futures destroyed by five trillion dollars in new debt that you have created, Mr. President.
You talk about sticking it to millionaires and billionaires when in fact you've stuck it to coal miners, truckers, farmers, students, homemakers.
Ask them about record gas prices, Mr. President, electricity, food, college tuition.
Should I go on?
Okay, worry warts.
I know you're out there worried about the debate tonight, worried that none of this is real.
I know you people can't handle success.
It's not real.
You don't deserve it.
It's all gonna implode tonight, it's all gonna fall apart.
Oh, look at folks.
If Obama shows up tonight and successfully breathes, he's going to be declared the winner tomorrow.
He would have to set his hair on fire and other things to be even considered the loser in the debate tonight.
The media has already written the story.
The comeback kid, just get ready for it.
They can't wait for that meme, if you will, for that narrative.
But nothing's changed.
Obama's got nothing.
He's got nothing.
If he goes back and tries to recreate 2008, it's it's it's balanced against reality.
Who is the real pressure?
The real pressure's on both of them.
The presidency of the United States, they're both going to be feeling pressure.
By the way, there are two polls out now that have it.
Romney 50 Obama 46 likely voters.
Two polls.
The latest Gallup is just out.
Romney at the magic 50% level with likely voters over Obama, 46.
It's a seven-day rolling average, and these uh clowns at public policy polling, the liberal outfit in North Carolina also have it at Romney 5046.
And the public policy polling does this poll for the Daily Cause.
That that bedwetting bunch of uh website Democrat based people.
So there's two polls at 5046.
Well, you just better prepare yourself.
The media's already got story written.
Obama come back kid, one big, no matter what happens.
It's gonna it's gonna take Romney is gonna have to literally wipe the floor with Obama for him to be declared the winner of this thing tonight.
But Romney has all these stats.
I just meant you want me to run through this again.
I don't rather take some phone calls.
Twenty-three million unemployed, five percent lost median family income, forty-seven million food stamps, one in six in poverty, unemployment rate really is fifteen percent.
There's no recovery, there's no progress.
We're in the middle of a disaster created and architected by Barack Obama.
He asked for this economy.
He ran for president.
He wanted it.
He has run it into the ground.
For ever's a new story out today here for every person added to the labor force since January 2009, 10 people have added to those not in the labor force.
For every person that got a job, ten people have gone.
Everybody's worried about Candy Crowley.
Why?
She's just a CNN info, babe.
And predictable to boot.
Anyway, let's let's get some phone calls and then we'll go to some really interesting sound bites.
They went and they found Carolyn Timpton.
Carolyn Timpton, ABC News, she was the moderator for the ponytail guy debate back in uh in 1992.
She oh, she hates me.
She she was mad at me.
I forget what about, but just that what it was, my my analysis of her role as moderator.
Well, I just I you know I impersonate the way people speak.
And I impersonations require exaggeration.
If they're to be funny.
So I mean, she doesn't really say but but if if you listen, you can hear it.
It's just like Anriam Mitchell, anything, you know, watching.
I mean, it is what it is, folks.
See, where I get into trouble is you're not supposed to make fun of liberals.
They they're remulf.
We can make fun of Christians, conservatives, uh anybody but liberals cannot make fun of them.
That's not funny.
And when you do it, that's when you're hate monger, uh racist, bigoted, uh, homophobe, all those things.
The left, well, they can have every comedian in the world saying some of the most outrageously sometimes funny things about us, and it's art.
And since I don't play by that rule, I get the hit.
It's fine and dandy.
I ask for that.
Not gonna complain about it.
Here's to the phones back to Miami.
This is uh Aubin.
Great to have you on the program.
Hello.
Hello, Rush Diddle's.
I'm honored.
Thank you so much for taking my call.
You bet.
Great to have you here.
Thank you.
Well, um, just add Hillary to the blame list, you know, along with the ATMs and movies and tsunamis and Bush.
Uh but no matter what Hillary says, she can't.
Wait, wait, wait, just I want to review that.
You know, you went through that very fast.
We got new people tuning in every what the ATM folks, Barack Obama actually blamed ATMs for the loss of jobs in the U.S. economy because ATMs have replaced bank tellers, you see.
Uh and so technological innovation uh and invention has uh led to unemployment.
Uh he really, really.
And the tsunami is also responsible for our weak recovery, the Japanese tsunami, and of course, Bush overall.
Okay, Auburn, I just want to explain it because some people might hear ATM say, what's that?
I think I'm crazy, but no.
Anyway, um, but no matter what she says, she cannot get Obama out of this, she cannot absolve him.
Um and you know, really Biden is the one to look to because i I'm just amazed at this by way of trying to defend himself during the debate.
He actually admitted his their negligence.
And and people accept that.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
What do you mean he admitted negligence?
He said that they didn't know about the need for extra security.
Um if he had if Obama had attended his Intel briefings, he would have found out about the previous bombings, the assassination attempt at the uh the UK ambassador, things like that.
Besides the fact that it's 9-11, but um, you know, he didn't go to his meeting, so now they're saying, oh, well, well, we didn't know.
Well, Dog, you don't go to your meetings, and and the thing is the media accepts this as a valid justification.
See, it's amazing.
This is this is great.
She's speaking for every average ordinary American out there.
It just doesn't, it doesn't wash.
You got the vice president of the United States being asked about added security requests at an embassy in Libya, and he said, we didn't know.
That does not redound well.
There's no way.
You know, vice president's president cannot make excuses.
Ignorance is not a valid excuse for presidents.
They're the most powerful people in the world.
The vice president is in that in that mix.
So you're right.
It doesn't wash.
And not dumping it on Hillary, that's as transparent as can be, too.
Yeah.
It really is.
It's it's it shows his weakness.
It shows a lack of care character.
It shows cowardice.
And what about Bill Clinton?
His wife is being dumped on.
What a man.
What a man.
He sits there and is complicit in it.
He's still out campaigning for Obama while Obama's dumping on his wife.
Because Bill doesn't want to pay her campaign debt.
Bill wants to keep his money.
So they've got a deal.
Well, Hillary got a deal with Obama.
She'll pay off his uh he'll pay off her campaign debt if she took the Secretary of State gig.
Uh you got some real characters here, folks.
I'm a real gems of uh of manliness and character.
So Aubin, you're exactly right.
I'm glad you called.
Great to hear.
Auburn, let me ask you a question.
You still there?
Yes, I am.
Have you happened to see Real Housewives of Miami?
Have you ever seen that TV show?
You know, I have a couple of times.
Please tell me.
Please tell me that it's really not that way there.
It it really isn't that way here.
In fact, I that's why I've only watched it a couple of times because it's kind of nauseating.
We're surfing the other night.
We're sorry, come across this.
And I'm thinking it's um, no, no, we don't watch Dancing in the Stars since uh Bristol Palin's not on it anymore.
We don't we don't we don't watch dancing with the stars anymore.
Nope.
Nope, nope, not watching Bachelor, Bachelorette, not watching any of that stuff, snurly.
Nope, nope, haven't seen it.
I just surfing around, saw this, and I mouth wide open watching this.
No, no, I don't watch the vampire movie.
I just know that it's out there.
It's a vampire T The Walking Dead, by the way, the season premiere of the Walking Dead, which is I don't know if it's a vampire.
I don't even know if it's a vampire movie or TV series, but it's about zombies.
Eleven million people watched it, and it's on TNT or TBS or FX, I don't know what it's on.
Eleven the only show that got higher ratings was Sunday Night Football.
Yep.
That's it was the largest audience for a drama on cable TV ever.
The season premiere of the walking dead.
I c I don't know what the show is.
Other it's about zombies.
And whoever does the makeup on the show ought to win every award there is.
Anyway, Aubin, I appreciate the call and your honesty in admitting that you've seen that show.
Hey, look at this, folks.
This is from a website called the cable.foreignpolicy.com State Department official.
Negotiations to extend U.S. troop presence in Afghanistan starting soon.
Did you know that?
Yeah, Biden goes out in the debate and says, We're bringing him home, Martha.
You're coming on Bob Roxon or come home in 2014.
Because, you know, why, Martha?
I'll tell you why.
I want to tell that idiots sitting next to me, why too?
Because they Afghans, they gotta stand up.
They gotta take care of themselves.
They've got to take over.
Afghan security forces, Barack's been training them.
I was on a conference call.
Barack and Beavie.
They're training them and they're treating the security force.
They gotta stand up.
My dad told me, stand up for yourself, Joey.
They hit you in the nose, you stand up, you hit them in the mouth.
Well, we've told the Afghans we're getting out of there in 2014 to hell with them.
They gotta take care of themselves.
And that's what's happening, Martha.
We're gonna be out of there 2040, it's just like Rox said.
Except we're not.
Except we're negotiating to extend our presence in Afghanistan beyond 2014.
Just a little tidbit.
Okay, here's Debbie in Northern Virginia.
Debbie, I'm glad you called DC suburbs.
Great to have you on the EIB network.
Hello.
Hi, how are you?
Good.
Thank you.
All right.
I kind of want to disagree.
Well, I do want to disagree with you about the whole the polls being manipulated and they're kind of unmanipulating them now to reflect what's really going on, um, especially regarding women.
Well it's with everybody, not just it's just the women that happen to be reported today.
But right, right.
Well, I I disagree with you.
I I think that they have been reporting them fairly accurately, um, as much as any of them.
But I think what's really going on is we uh first let me say I live in a swing state and I um fairly moderate, probably very moderate compared to most of your audience.
Um but there's no other choice but to vote for Romney.
I mean, there's just really no other choice.
I I I am supporting him a hundred percent.
So I think what's going on is people are afraid to admit that they plan to support Romney because anytime it comes up in casual conversation, social conversation, anything like that, the liberals are just so Yeah, but wait a second now.
I understand what you're I wonder I know what you're saying, Debbie, but a poll, how they're they're automated, aren't they?
They're on the phone.
Sometimes there's a live person on the phone, and I understand people want to lie to pollsters, particularly when asked if they're gonna vote for or against the first black president.
It's just easier to say I'm voting Obama because there's less grief.
But a poll is not taken out in public where there's going to be shouts of derision from angry liberals.
Maybe they just aren't willing then to just have a conversation with themselves.
I mean, if these are undecided that are now starting to uh look at Romney, they just haven't even been willing to go there themselves in their mind because I'm telling you, I have a Romney sticker on my car.
I've had it since uh Romney Ryan.
I was waiting for Ryan to get put on the sticker.
So I got it the first day he was announced, and they were on the website, and I've had multiple people come up to me and say, You are so brave to have that sticker on your car.
I'm w I'd be afraid I'd be run off the road.
I understand that.
I totally I I totally understand that.
I live in a state where uh people have that same fear.
I I just don't know.
I mean, uh that's a good point about the the polls being, you know, private.
But I just think that there is this mentality that you can't even really express how you might be feel, or even if you wanted to say have the discussion, the political discussion with someone, say you really were undecided.
Here's my here's my point.
I I'm and I understand fully what you're saying.
I just I know that polls are used to shape public opinion.
A poll in April, a poll in June, the purpose of that poll, look at who's doing these polls.
The purpose of these polls is to create news, not reflect it.
They're not reflecting public opinion, they're trying to shape it.
This is what the media does.
Some people don't want to admit that, but it's what they do.
But when you get closer to the election, they do have their credibility to be concerned about.
And something has to explain why the polls all of a sudden have doing this mad shift.
I just don't believe one debate did this.
I don't believe there have been that many undecided like you.
You have been decided and firm in your resolve for months.
You weren't undecided.
I don't believe a whole this is not a climate where people can't figure out what they're gonna do.
I mean, this is how how in the world anybody's undecided right now is beyond me.
But there might still be some.
It's gotta be a pretty small number.
But I think you're right.
I think people in certain circumstances will be afraid, especially if if if their opinion is anti-Obama or uh a voting preferences for somebody I don't know about there's to be some some some reticence about saying so because they don't want to get yelled at or vandalized or what have you in the case of a bumper sticker uh or a yard sign or what have you.
I you you're totally right about that.
I just I just don't believe massive shifts like this in public opinion.
I don't think that many people change their minds that often that drastically that many times as these polls have reflected.
I agree with you on that.
I just I just wonder if people If it really is the poll people manipulating it.
Although Axelrod was on the phone to Gallup the the next day, wasn't he?
When uh Exactly.
They've been on the phone with Gallup twice.
Axelrod called Gallup twice to challenge their methodology when he didn't like the number.
And they changed and they shifted.
And the next series of polls reflected more favorable results.
Exactly.
For uh for for Obama.
Look at you.
A poll with a plus ten Democrat sample is manipulation.
There isn't an election in recent history where the Democrat turnout was 10% greater than the Republican turnout was.
And yet we had three swing state polls two Fridays ago that showed just that.
Now you can talk to any pollster and they can tell you they can get any result you want.
That's why the polls that we never see, the internal polls that the campaigns run, those are the ones because they can't afford to live the lie when it comes to public opinion polling and the results of it.
They have to know what and that's why the internals, whenever you see somebody say White House internals campaign internal, those are the ones you pay attention to, if you ever hear that.
Anyway, Debbie, I appreciate the call.
I know exactly what you said.
People just now becoming more comfortable admitting what they have been intending to do for months.
I think that's a good point.
