Gateway Pundit is reporting that protests have broken out in Sudan, Kuwait, and Morocco.
A website called Now Lebanon is reporting that hundreds of Muslims protested today outside the U.S. consulate in Morocco's largest city, Casablanca.
The reason?
A film deemed insulting to Islam that already sparked deadly violence in Libya.
The protesters, numbering between 300 and 400, mostly young activists, gathered around 200 yards from the consulate amid a heavy police presence.
Some shouted anti U.S. slogans, including death to Obama, but without resorting to any violence.
So there's an outbreak of protests in Sudan, Kuwait, and Morocco now.
And they're using the excuse of this movie on Muhammad as their reasoning.
And again, um we have this too from uh Reuters Tunisian police have fired tear gas and rubber bullets to uh disperse a protest over this film near the U.S. Embassy in Tunisia.
From the French news agency, Tunis police dispersed protesters outside the U.S. Embassy.
They fired tear gas to disperse hundreds of demonstrators outside the embassy in Tunis gathered to condemn a film deemed defensive to this is just an excuse.
This movie is just like the cartoons, the Dutch cartoons were just an excuse.
It's just canient excuse.
It's 911 and now 912 when all of this is happening.
And the uh again, we just had a caller from Mexico with a really brilliant point.
If the Islamists are upset at anything, it's the fact that we're spiking the ball killing Osama.
The Democrat Convention was devoted to that.
The two reasons this country was given to reelect Barack Obama, bailing out GM, keeping it alive and killing Osama.
And the protesters outside the embassy in Egypt are all shouting, we're all Osama's Obama or something of that nature.
The Danish cartoons, same excuse given to justify, and of course, our embassy's apology acknowledges that well, I guess that's justified reason for these people to protest.
Because they apologize for our free speech.
Anyway, welcome back, folks.
Great to have your Rush Limbaugh, the EIB network, Limbaugh Institute, Advanced Conservative Studies.
Telephone number 80082-2882.
Sarah Palin issued a response or a reaction to all this on her Facebook page.
Apparently, President Obama cannot see Egypt and Libya from his house.
On the anniversary of the worst terror attacks ever perpetrated on America, our embassy in Cairo, our consulate in Benghazi were attacked by violent Islamic mobs.
In Cairo, they scaled the walls of our embassy, destroyed our flag, replaced it with a black Islamic banner in Benghazi in Libya.
The armed gunmen set fire to our consulate, killed an American staff member, happened to be the ambassador.
The Islamic radicals claim that these attacks are in protest of some movie criticizing Islam.
In response to this, the U.S. Embassy in Cairo issued a statement that was so outrageous that many of us thought it must be a satire.
The embassy actually apologized to the violent mob attacking us.
They apologized to the mob, and it even went so far as to chastise those who use free speech to quote hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.
Funny, the current administration has no problem hurting the religious feelings of Catholics.
But where is the president's statement about this?
These countries represent his much touted Arab Spring.
How is that Arab Spring working out for us now?
Have we got an apology yet from our friends in the Muslim Brotherhood for the assault on our embassy?
By the way, we have.
And it's actually more like a veiled threat.
I just saw it.
I didn't have a chance to print it out.
You can't believe how things are flying in here at me today.
If I didn't have a such a strong spine and such a massive amount of self-confidence, I would think that 150 people believe I don't know how to do this.
I cannot describe to you what's flowing into me.
I'm almost gonna close my email.
I got a commercial break, I've got at least 35 emails.
Hey, mention this.
Why was you mentioning it?
You've made a point that what?
Anyway, I just had a chance.
I just saw it's a piece by Andy McCarthy at uh at National Review.
And right as the theme was starting for this hour is is when I got it.
And the uh apparently the Muslim Brotherhood has issued some kind of a statement that McCarthy is an expert on this people.
Uh these people claim is more like a veiled threat.
I'll dig it out at the plus I'm trying to keep up with what Apple's doing today.
You wouldn't believe what I got going on here.
It's a man I got static like you can't believe in my in my audio feed.
You just don't know, folks.
You just have no idea what trying to do a show on a day like this is all about.
You just have no idea what you're doing.
I know I was right.
Well, the iPhone is everything everybody thought it was going to be.
All the leaks about the iPhone have have the true.
What it looks like, what it's got in it.
Everything about it was true.
There was no shock or surprise.
In fact, the new operating system, which of course I'm already running, will be released to the plebs on uh on the 19th, a week from Friday.
No, today, week from today.
In fact, if you have, if you've been watching a ditto cam and you've seen me checking my iPhone, and I after I check it and I mutter an obscenity, it's because they haven't updated it.
It's been a month since they updated the beta.
I've been waiting for one.
Anyway.
All kinds of things going on.
I'm I promise when I get to the break, I'll find out what this Muslim Brotherhood guy, this course, I guess, of course, not Morsi is his name, I believe.
It's supposedly a semi-apology or an acknowledgment that something bad happened, but uh it it has a uh uh veiled threat in it, ostensibly, which doesn't surprise me.
Obama, Obama, there are still a billion Osamas.
That's what they were shouting.
Obama, Obama, there are still a billion Osamas.
That's what the protesters were shouting as they went over the wall at our embassy in Egypt yesterday in Cairo.
I could shoot myself figuratively for not putting this together myself, for not making this connection.
I'm like everybody else, I got so amazed at our embassy's apology for us again that I got fixated on that.
And what was staring all of us right in the face, here we're apologizing for a preacher.
Their people's country would have blamed Terry Jones for this.
Or this guy making the movie.
But Muhammad.
And the protesters aren't shouting Terry Jones' name or the or the movie producer's name.
They're shouting Obama's name.
And it's 9-11.
There was this totally coordinated.
Libya is a different thing.
I don't know if there's coordination between those two.
Have no idea if there's any coordination there, but uh again in Libya, was it not true that Mrs. Clinton was mocking or laughing at one point about us getting rid of Qaddafi?
Didn't maybe not laughing, but did she was she being flippant about how easy it was and what a rot gut he was, and we'd done something uh that remember Qaddafi had his supporters in Libya.
He had a bunch of them.
And spiking the football again.
I just don't believe it's this movie.
And now the outbreak in uh Sudan, Kuwait, and Morocco.
Too convenient and excuse.
Let me finish the Sarah Palin statement because it's uh it's good.
She wrote this before Obama's appearance today, in which he refused to take questions.
But where is the president's statement about this?
These countries represent his much touted Arab Spring.
How's that Arab Spring working out for us now?
Have we got an apology yet from our friends of the Muslim Brotherhood for the assault on our embassy?
It's about time that our president stood up for America and condemned these Islamic extremists.
I realize there must be a lot on his mind these days, she writes.
I mean, our economy's abysmal jobless numbers, Moody's new warning about yet another downgrade to our nation's credit rating due to the current regime's failure to come up with a credible deficit reduction plan.
And of course, Obama has such a busy schedule.
All these rounds of golf, the softball interviews with the pimp with the limp.
Did you hear about that?
Yesterday he did a radio interview with a radio host, South Florida, who bills himself as the pimp with the limp.
Some rapper, I think.
He's gonna be on Letterman next Tuesday.
He's flying out to Las Vegas right now, in the air right now for a fundraiser in Las Vegas that again was originally scheduled for outdoors that they have moved indoors to a much smaller place.
And the reason that Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz gave was the weather.
But the weather was all yesterday.
There isn't any bad weather in Vegas today.
Yes, I was right.
Hillary Clinton laughing about getting rid of Qaddafi in a TV interview.
We came, we saw he died, and she's laughing.
So I'm telling you what we've got here.
And don't forget this this is the bunch that tells us not to spike the football.
This is the regime that tells us not to brag.
This is the regime tells us not to gloat.
The Democrats mentioned killing bin Laden twenty-one times during their convention.
Foreign policy magazine, final bin Laden tally, twenty-one mentions at the Democrat convention.
And you know that the Muslim Brotherhood was watching.
It's their party.
Well, you don't think the Muslim Brotherhood's hoping Romney wins this, do you?
It's the Muslim Brotherhood watching their convention, the Democrat National Convention, and they hear Obama and the Democrats bragging about killing Osama bin Laden twenty-one times.
Hillary said, We came, we saw, he died about Qaddafi.
Laughing about it.
Real laughter for Hillary, which is a a cackle.
It's uh it sounds just like there's a a creature in Arkansas, the Arkansas Broadbeam, and you can recognize the Arkansas Broadbeam.
And Hillary sounds amazingly like it.
And she was laughing that way when she was uh joking about Qaddafi becoming room temperature.
Interesting coincidence.
I'm gonna finish this Sarah Palin statement if it's the last thing I do.
I realize there's a lot of Obama's minds these days.
Our economy's abysmal jobless numbers, Moody's new warning about yet another downgrade to our nation's credit rating due to the current regime's failure to come up with a credible deficit reduction plan, and of course his busy schedule.
Rounds of golf, softball interviews with the pimp with the limp, fundraising dinners with his corporate cronies, I might add an appearance on Letterman, fundraiser in Las Vegas.
But our nation's security should be of utmost importance to the commander in chief.
America can't afford any more leading from behind in such a dangerous world.
We already know that President Obama likes to speak softly to our enemies.
If he doesn't have a big stick to carry, maybe it's time for Obama to grow one.
Back to the phones to go to El Cahon, California.
This is Scott.
Thanks for the call, sir.
Great to have you here on the EIB network.
Hello.
Hello, Rush.
Uh first time caller, love your show.
Thank you.
Uh, was interested to see the uh first um news media reports, you know, they talk about the Romney response, and then they try to deflect everything from Obama by saying this filmmaker was an Israeli Jew.
I was wondering on your take on that.
Uh well, he is an Israeli Jew.
What is your w you think?
Well, it just seems uh I I heard that right away, and he's based out of Southern California, but why even bring that up?
It's almost like they're trying to put off some of this stuff on Israel.
Oh, well, there's no question that they're trying trying to do that.
You mean the administration or the media or public media, but probably with the administration's uh support.
Well, I think they are gonna do everything they can to further the notion that it is this wacko doing the movie that is responsible for the Islamists and their attack on our embassy in Cairo.
The last thing they're gonna do is blame the Islamists.
So you you think by mentioning his a Jew from here the the problem with that is I've I've read the story, and that's how the guy quotes himself.
He quotes himself that way.
I mean, he he describes himself that way.
I am a Jew from Israel.
So it's not really the media, excuse me, is pointing it out from nothing.
He does say it in the story.
And when you read the story, it's clear the guy he's gone into hiding.
The filmmaker has gone into hiding, but he's still talking to the media.
He comes across as fearless, but then you read he's gone into hiding, which kind of contradicts it.
But he himself says he's a California real estate developer.
His name is Sam Basile.
It's it's B A C I L E. So I'm guessing on the pronunciation.
But he describes himself in the story as an Israeli Jew, and he says he's the one who made the film.
So it'd be kind of hard for the media to leave that out.
If he hadn't mentioned it and they dug it up and they focused on it, then you could say that they might be trying to stir things up.
My point is they don't have to.
He's done it for them.
All they have to do is quote him, which is uh what they did.
Rich White Plains, New York.
Hello, sir.
Great to have you with us.
Hi.
Hi, Rush.
Thanks for taking my call.
Yes, sir.
With regard to the attacks on Romney, this idea that it's taboo to criticize a president during a time of crisis.
Well, this might be true, like of a natural disaster, but what if the crisis is a direct result of your foreign policy?
Exactly.
What is a campaign for?
Since when is incompetence protected by a campaign of all things?
Yeah.
Obama has famously praised the Arab Spring was an integral part of uh the removal of Mubarak and Gaddafi, and now with the Muslim Brotherhood in charge, we see attacks on the embassies of two countries that Obama helped liberate on the anniversary of 9-11.
Um how embarrassing and incompetent does the Obama administration appear when they uh apologize to the Muslims yesterday, then strongly condemn them today.
By the way, speaking of all this, thanks thanks for the call, Rich.
I appreciate it.
Your your um your point is well taken.
Chicago teachers union official marching on a protest line yesterday, said this is our Arab Spring.
In an interview with the Reverend Sharpton on his radio show.
This is our Arab Spring.
This is not just confined to Chicago, said this teacher.
And here's the transcript.
Al Sharpton, tell us why the Chicago teachers unions called a strike.
First time twenty few twenty uh twenty-five years.
Teachers union official, it's about justice.
We're in a time nationally where our students are black and brown students.
Let's be very clear.
Black and brown students are under the pressure of privatizers who want to collect off the pathology that plagues our communities.
That's what's going on here in Chicago.
What does that mean?
Somebody want to translate This for me.
The teachers union official with Reverend Al said we're in a time nationally where our students, black and brown students, let's be very clear, are under the pressure of privatizers who want to collect off the pathology that plagues our communities.
Well, yeah, I understand that she's worried about private schools taking over because they're better, but what the hell is collecting off the pathology plaguing our community?
What the hell?
That's what that means.
Our kids are illiterate.
Our kids are uneducated.
And we don't want any privatizers coming and taking advantage of that or trying to fix it.
We don't want anybody.
We don't want anybody trying to fix the schools just because we can't teach.
We don't want any privatizers coming in here trying to fix it.
That's that's what the pathology to plague our communities means.
So it's it's it's our job to keep our students illiterate and uneducated, and we're not gonna have any privatizers coming in here and fixing that.
We gonna keep it that way.
That's what that means.
You've got to be kidding me.
Well, Sharpton said, you know, I kind of agree with you there, but uh, what would resolve the matter now?
And she said, Well, Reverend Al, this is sort of like an Arab Spring right here in Chicago right now.
Currently, there are five locals, AFT locals, experiencing similar issues here.
Eleven NEA locals have filed intent to strike within the last year, so this is not just confined to Chicago.
So you have a teachers union official in Chicago saying that their strike is their Arab Spring.
Oh lordy.
Okay, Mike, grab me audio sound by 35.
We finally have the audio of reporters collaborating with each other on asking Romney questions this morning via the right scoop blog, the right scoop.
It was this morning in Jacksonville, and we have uh an unidentified female CBS reporter and a male reporter overheard talking about the questions that they should ask Romney.
It's about 25 seconds, and here's what it is.
That's the question.
Yeah, that's the question.
I wouldn't even say I mean I would just say, do you regret your question?
Your question.
I mean your statement, not even the tone.
Because then he can go offline.
And then if he does, I think we should follow up and say that this morning.
We're covered on the one question that you stand by your statement.
Do you stand by your statement you regret?
So they here's we have two reporters coordinating their questions for Romney, all oriented about do you stand by your statement?
Do you regret it?
No, I think we got it covered if we do this.
No, I think we do the other way, we'll have it covered.
Listen to this.
Now that you've heard it, listen to this bite again.
It's a female CBS reporter, a male reporter, I don't know the affiliation.
Uh open mic.
They don't know, I think, that this is being recorded.
I don't think they'd care anyway, but they don't apparently know about the questions they should ask Romney after his statement on the action in the Middle East today.
That's the question.
Yeah, that's the question.
I wouldn't even say I mean I would just say, do you regret your question?
Your question.
I mean your statement, not even the tone.
Because then he can go off on.
And then if he does, I think we should follow up and say that.
Who he calls on, we're covered on the one question that's Sammy or Savings.
Yeah.
So then they're coordinating.
They are collaborating with each other.
I'm making sure that they're all covered on.
Is that a FedEx for me?
Good.
I've been waiting for that too.
You know, folks, after I told everybody I'm being inundated with uh the more than I can keep up with.
150 people telling me essentially I don't know what to do today.
I figured that they'd hear it and maybe cut back.
No, no, no.
The next break, 50 additional people.
Hey, look, I just wrote this.
Why don't you report this?
I just posted this in my blog.
Why don't you?
It's all over the place out there.
That you I tell you with this.
This has everybody fired up.
This has everybody fired up.
And Obama is nowhere to be found on this.
He makes one little statement, doesn't take any questions.
Reporter asked Obama, are is this an act of war?
And it is.
They attack your embassy and kill your your ambassadors.
That is an act of war.
Had no question Obama's not going to look at it that way.
He turned his back and walked away.
Romney's the only guy took any questions, and the reporters were collaborating on what kinds of questions to ask Romney to trip him up.
Highly illustrative of the corruption that exists in the mainstream media today.
Thanks to the right scoop for clueing us in on that, making it available.
Here's David in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, home of a Little League World Series where losing pitchers congratulate guys that hit home runs off of them.
Great to have you on the program, sir.
Hello.
Hey, thanks for uh taking the time, Rush.
Um, you know, some of your colleagues have touched on the convention last week, and uh, you know, the timing behind this, obviously 9-11 was yesterday, but um it was not insignificant that the word Jerusalem was left out of the Democrat platform.
It's then such a big deal of it was made in the media to correct that, and we saw the outrage from what seemed to be a majority of the Democrat delegates.
Um, and as you said, you know, this was probably being watched all over the world.
Um this administration has gone through great pains to publicly not use the word Jerusalem.
You have Jay Carney just fairly recently being put pressed on that in a press conference.
Um you have James Brennan and our John Brennan, whichever it is, I can't remember, and um Eric Holder publicly calling Jerusalem Al Quds, which is the uh which is what uh Islamists referred to Jerusalem as they refused to say the name Jerusalem.
Um I don't think this was an insignificant event, and it could have been a tipping point.
Um there was a lot of things in that convention, but this was something I believe a lot of attention was paid to the word God being left out, but just a significant, if not more, was the word Jerusalem.
I think I think you're on something.
In fact, we talked about this a little bit yesterday.
Um and and i in addition to God being booed, so was Jerusalem.
And when you saw the pictures of who it was that was booing, we know that if for example, the the reason that I know about this fundraiser in Vegas being moved indoors is that I have people who are on the mailing list of the DNC and the Obama campaign, so we keep an eye on what they're sending out.
And Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz sent out this blast email yesterday to one of our staff members named Biff.
And there is no Biff, but that's just the name that we use.
And it was in three languages.
It was in English, Spanish, and Arabic.
Farsi, whatever, Arabic.
And it was all about how they're gonna move the convention from outdoors to indoors because of inclement weather, but there isn't any inclement.
They can't fill an outdoor stadium in Vegas, is the point.
So they're using the same excuse they used in Charlotte.
But you're right, Jerusalem was booed, and it was the Michigan delegation that we saw booing Jerusalem.
There's a very uh there's a very large Islamic population in Dearborn.
The it's called Dearbornistan by by people that live there.
Uh as uh an affectionate nickname for the place.
But I think I I think not just God, but Jerusalem got booed as well, and I think you're on to something.
I I think the Democrat Party has elements that hate Israel.
Some of them are even Jewish, but they hate Israel.
Which leads me to another theory.
Uh, ladies and gentlemen.
Just wild theory picking it off the wall.
All it is is a theory.
What do the militant Islamists want more than anything in the world?
Israel gone is right.
Even moderate Islamists want Israel gone from Amud Ahmadini Zad to Al Qaeda to the Muslim Brotherhood.
They all, you can find quotes.
For Palestinian leaders, Hamas, Fatah, you name it.
All of these factions of militant Islam.
Number one objective, no more Israel, and if they could bring it off, no more Jews.
Okay, so what if Amon Al Zawahiri and other Al Qaeda leaders gave up Osama bin Laden for the express purpose of making Obama look good?
Giving Obama stature, political capital, Obama got Osama.
I mean, really, do you think Al Qaeda depends on Osama bin Laden anymore?
It did.
What was he doing there?
He's he's it he's in this this this they call it a mansion, it was a pig sty.
He drinking Budweiser and watching porn.
Uh it he had a courier going back and forth, but there they weren't Al Qaeda was not depending on Osama bin Laden for operational leadership.
You know, his day had come and gone.
So he's expendable.
It was near death anyway for diabetes or or so he needed dialysis.
So what about they they give him up?
They they give up his location.
We go in seal team six, Obama puffs up, I killed Osama, I did it, I killed instant credibility.
Gives himself some political capital.
Keep him in power, furthers the cause.
Who gave us the Arab Spring?
Who who structured things so that the Muslim Brotherhood pretty much had a clear path to power in Egypt.
If, and I'm saying if Capitol I, Capitol F. If the militant Islamists think let's put it this way.
Let me let me put it do you do you think that militant Islamists will be as hopeful of getting rid of Israel with a Republican president or with a Democrat president.
Just throwing it out there.
This is thinking off top of my head after being bombarded today with stuff.
And that call that we had from uh uh what was yeah, Claire, who this is what got me going on because she's so right.
Everybody's trying to blame this movie or Terry Jones, the preacher for what happened in Egypt yesterday, but the guys that scaled the wall, cut down our flag, burned it, tried to raise the Al Qaeda flag, are the ones shouting about all the Osamas there are.
And they're mentioning Obama's name.
They're taunting Obama.
You didn't get rid of us.
There are thousands of us.
And Obama's a don't spike football, don't spike football, but maybe the real source of the outrage here is Obama and the Democrats bragging 21 times during their convention, we killed Osama.
I take a break, we'll get a time.
It's uh don't know where it's going.
I really don't know where it's going.
I've got to take a timeout, we'll be back and continue before you know it.
Don't go away.
Okay.
Imagine you're a militant Islamist, you're watching YouTube videos, Obama Biden bragging about killing Osama.
Might tick you off.
You think the media will look into that?
Nope.
Because the media, I want you to listen to this again.
This is the media coordinating their questioning of Mitt Romney today.
But more importantly than just coordinating questions, if you listen carefully, they are putting together the narrative of how they're going to report on Romney based on what they ask him, not on what he says.
They're establishing the narrative.
Romney jumped the gun, Romney shouldn't speak.
Listen to this one more time.
That's the question.
Yeah, that's the question.
I wouldn't even say I mean I would just say, do you regret your question?
Your question.
I mean, your statement, not even the tone.
Because then he can go off on the right.
And then if he does, I think we should follow up and say, but this morning you're continuing to send.
Who he calls on, we're covered on the one question that...
Do you stand by your statement or do you want to write your statement?
See, so the the the point is let's not ask him about the substance.
Let's not ask him what we don't understand about what he's saying.
Let's ask him to clarify.
Let's change the narrative.
Let's make this what the hell are you doing speaking?
Do you think you jumped the gun?
Who do you think you are?
Do you regret saying any of this?
That's what they're doing here.
Establishing the template.
And they were coordinating it with each other.
That's the media.
Two reporters coordinating their questions of Romney during his statement today.
We'll be right back.
That's exactly what trial lawyers do with hostile witnesses.
Establish it just what those media people were doing with Romney.
He was hostile, and they were trying to deal with him in their way by coordinating the questions.
